Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Master calleth thee
Mark 10:49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they
call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth
thee.
We would find it normal that Bartimaeus was shouting out to Jesus so Jesus
called him unto him. It is only when we get into details we understand
things better.
We see Bartimaeus was shouting out to Jesus as ‘Son of David have mercy on
me’, by this he was acknowledging a prophecy which was given to David of a
king whose kingdom would be forever. Firstly Bartimaeus was not a Jew by
his name we know he was a Roman. So for him to acknowledge Jesus as Son of
David was exceptional.
We see even though Jesus could hear Bartimaeus shout yet Jesus did not
shout back but asked His disciples to bring him. It is written ‘they’
called out to him. It was not that they all shouted to him. If they had to
shout any one of them would do that. It is written ‘they’ because it was
like a chain calling. One asked the other to call him. You may wonder why I
am getting into this detail. Every word in the Bible has purpose and makes
us learn the hidden things of the Kingdom of God.
They were in Jericho and it was only when a historian described the way
this city was made that I could understand this little details including
why God bought the walls of the city down at the shout of Joshua (his army
and got every person killed leaving for Rahab and her family).
This city was the main city of the Moabites and it was because of them
thousands of Israelites had died due to plague. Moses in his song after
crossing the Red sea acknowledges the Moabites as might men. The Moabites
were famous for defeating a tribe of giants whom they called Emims
(terror). The Lord took the Israelites on a churning (testimony) trip and
built the second generation (leaving for Joshua and Caleb) and made them
battle ready to confront the Moabites. The lord made them so strong for
battle that the Moabites feared them. He also made them spiritually which
can be seen by the fact that none spoke a word or uttered a sound for 7
days even while they marched around the walls. It was only when Joshua
commanded they shouted and the walls fell.
The Lord could have got them into the city in many other ways like He got
the spies in and out. But the Lord personally became instrument to being
the walls down. The historian explained there were two parallel walls that
protected Jericho and between these walls the city had built various
temples of various gods (they were unified like the tower of Babel which
was also a common temple). When one studied what they did as sacrifice in
these temples one would understand the wrath of God on them for not sparing
any soul.
During the time of Jesus these people had rebuild the city, its walls along
with its temples. Even though the Romans ruled this city yet the people did
their old things and the Romans were party to it. Jericho was a rich man’s
city and the area between the walls were like outside city limits but still
under protection, so beggars and exiled criminals dwelled in this place
where the temples existed.
Bartimaeus (he was son of a senior Roman officer Timaeus) was a Roman who
was made blind as a punishment and was exiled, so he dwelled between these
walls. When Bartimaeus was shouting Jesus was aware of His surroundings.
Jesus was aware of the temples around and thus did not shout back but by
word of mouth called Bartimaeus unto Him. Was Jesus becoming secular of
respecting other beliefs?
Understands other gods do not exist, so break idols, temples or insulting
people and their beliefs does not help the lost people it only makes them
harder. By the power of God people do not change, it is only when they see
the glory of God through the Spirit of God that they change. Seven
symbolizes the Holy Spirit (seven Spirits of God) and it is only through
the Holy Spirit only we can change people (Joshua and his army marched for
seven days around Jericho’s walls).
You may have heard many testimonies of people accepting Christ just for a
simple scripture which we may have not dreamt could i.e. the son of Hamas
leader who was president of their youth wing changed and accepted Christ
just by the scripture where Christ said ‘forgive your enemies’. It did not
take great theology to change him; it was the Holy Spirit who did it.
We are called to battle in the spirit and not in the flesh so let not human
words do the battle. Let the right words at the right time, led by the Holy
Spirit do the job. Let us be shut and speak in the Lord’s time to bring the
spiritual walls down permanently and destroy the plans of the enemy in the
life of those lost.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, there are times we see right and wrong and we in the flesh try to
battle the wrong but instead harden people. We may try to call it holy
anger but anything that does not bring good result cannot be called holy.
You God are Holy and everything of You brings good result. We pray Lord we
learn to sync according to your timing and not our timing...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor,
which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call
him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they
cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too
mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and

The city and the temple
Daniel 9:26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall
destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a
flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Today you talk of any Christian and chances are 9 out of 10 would be
supporters of Israel. Ask them why as Christians they are staunch
supports of a Jewish country? They will answer because the Bible says
so. They will point to scriptures concerning the promise to the Jewish
nation and how at the end Israel comes in glory with its twelve tribes.
In today's scripture we see concerning the coming again of Christ there
are events related to the city of Jerusalem and the Temple. Is the
Jerusalem mentioned here related to the city made of bricks and stones?
Is the Temple mentioned here the temple created by Solomon and rebuild
twice later.
When we read the teachings of Jesus or Paul who did the right
interpretation of scriptures (OT) we see they did not in any way give
any emphasizes neither to the city of Jerusalem nor to the Jewish temple
in Jerusalem.
There are some facts which people misunderstand like Gentile does not
means a non-Jew or non-Christian. Gentile in the OT was a term given for
the lost Jew or Jew who followed other gods or kept the traditions of
the pagans. This term originated with the people of Galilee (even during
the time of Jesus Mary followed the traditions of the gentiles since she
was from Galilee). Samaria was part of northern Israel and was the
capital of kingdom of Israel when Israel was divided into kingdom of
Judah and Israel. It was the Israelites of this nation which were called
Samarians and later were known by their following of beliefs and
traditions when both nations became one during the time of Jesus. When
Jesus or Paul said they came for the gentiles, they meant Lost Sheep.
When Bible says Israel it means Prince who has power with God in other
words means Sons of God. It is the Holy Spirit who makes a person a true
Israel and this happens when one (old person) wrestles with God's image
in one's self like Jacob wrestled with God and was called Israel.
Let us not forget the fact God is God of all creation even though He is
known by the title as God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is God of
every nation even though Israel is historically connected with Him and
His Christ. No person is distinguished before God by his race but only
by his faith and his works of faith.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord we pray your people understand your Word not by its text but by its
understanding according to your Spirit. Holy Spirit open the hearts and
minds of the people so that they know your Word in its Truth and that
they may be set free from the bonds of sin...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Daniel 9:25-27
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the
commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the
Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street
shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not
for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy
the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood,
and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the
midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to
cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be
poured upon the desolate.
Luke 21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led
away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of
the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Acts 15:14Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the
Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
Romans 2:29But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is
that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is
not of men, but of God.

Be afraid of God's Word
Habakkuk 3:2O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD,
revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years
make known; in wrath remember mercy.
Many a times I have people who question my messages, they say the Gospel
is a Gospel of grace and the love so why are your messages at times so
harsh. In today's message as Habakkuk was praying upon Shigionoth [which
means being doubtful or going astray] he starts with saying he heard the
words of the Lord and was afraid but he ends the sentence with 'in wrath
remember mercy'.
Who can say 'I love the sword drawn out against me'? The Word of God is
a sword; Paul [supposed to be the writer of Hebrews] describes it as
double edged sword that separates the bone joints from the marrow. Bone
symbolizes character, bone joints symbolize the working of the character
and marrow symbolizes the spirit, so the Word of God works between
working of our character and our spirit. It separates our character from
our spirit. Unless the Word does not do the piercing and separating then
the Spirit of God cannot work on the character and change it. In the
book of Jeremiah the Lord says is not my Word like fire or like hammer.
Can anyone say I love fire or hammer when it works on me?
The Gospel (Good News) is the message of hope when there was no hope,
when all doors were shut the Lord opened a door. It is the Gospel and
its acceptance that brings us to see the Word and understand it via the
Spirit of God.
When Habakkuk said 'I fear your Word' he also said 'in wrath remember
mercy'. It is like saying I fear the sword but I trust the hand that
holds the sword to be merciful.
We know the sword of God will spare no one, not even the Angels but
those who know the Hand that holds the sword will not be afraid of
death. Jesus Christ as man manifested the Hand in the flesh. Let us like
Habakkuk fear the Lord but also at the same time have confidence in Him
by knowing Him through Christ. Let us not be foolish to say I know the
hand so I have no fear, let us remember when Christ comes again He will
manifest the sword on Judgment Day for it will be the sword that will
judge us.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a Righteous and Holy God and no corrupting can exist
before You. Lord when we see your Word thought come to us who can
survive this sword but as we know You through your Son Jesus Christ we
have confidence in You as being merciful Father. We pray Lord there
exist both fear and confidence in us to that we walk in the way You have
set for us...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jeremiah 23:29Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a
hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Hebrews 4:12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than

spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Die to live
Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth
his life for my sake shall find it.
Across religions we find death is related to life be it religions like
Hinduism, Islam or even peaceful religions like Jainism you will find dead
and life related beliefs for all of them encourage suicide in one way or
the other, be it Sati, Jihad or Sallekhana. They all promote natural death
with a promise or reward.
Today’s scripture projects Christianity unlike other religions although it
demands death it does not demand a natural death but a carnal death.
Christianity does not give right to anyone to take anyone’s life even the
life of oneself. In the OT when the Spirit of God was not given to man, man
was given the right battle in the natural so as to defend themselves or
even attack to defend the interest of the community. But after Jesus made
peace with God and man and the Spirit of God is given to the Church, so now
we battle spiritually and not in the flesh, for scripture says the Lord
fights our battles.
To be a Christian is most difficult and if one is told all about what one
needs to do to be a Christian right in the start, I doubt any person would
desire to be a Christian. It is only by the grace and help of the Holy
Spirit we travel this journey of change, step by step.
Our spirit life is our real life and this natural life which we live in
this flesh is a temporary and just a very minute fraction of our spirit
life. Whenever I preach on life I always tell people Satan is behind your
life and even God is behind your life. Satan wants to destroy your spirit
life so he tries to temp you to enjoy your natural life, thus leads you to
all kind of pleasures of the flesh, eyes and mind. God on the other hand
desires we have eternal spiritual life, a life of abundance but for that He
demands we kill our carnal life. He does not temp like Satan does but puts
us to tests where He causes us to make the choice. With God as He puts us
to tests He even supports us to make the right choice and does not put us
to a test wherein we will fail.
Today’s message tells us if we lose our life for the sake of Christ we will
find it. It does not mean to die shouting the name of Jesus Christ like
Muslim Jihadist do. It is when we stand for the purpose of God and for who
He is even at the cost of our own lives, we will have life.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and our eternal home. It is only in You Lord can we have
eternal life and life of abundance. Lord we pray we understand our
priorities and discern good from bad, we pray we see all things through our
spiritual eyes and not through our carnal eyes. We pray we put our carnal
flesh to death so that we live eternal in spirit...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

John 3:3-7
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again [from above], he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he
enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of
water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again [from above].

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again [from above].

incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Punishment of those think God is good all the time
Zephaniah 1:13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses
a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they
shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
We have n number of times heard this song by Don Moen ‘God is good all the
time’. This is indeed an excellent song and it is true that God is good all
the time and He alone is good. When a man said good to Jesus, we see Jesus
was upset and pointed out as man He too was not worthy to be called good
and that God alone was good. Now people can misunderstand get confused
since Jesus being Lord how gould He not be good, this confusion is due to
the Greek in accurate translation. There are many words translated as good
such as ‘kalos’. The word used as good in Matthew 19:17, Mark 10:18 & Luke
18:19, is the Greek word ‘agathos’ (occurs 77 times in NT) which points
more towards being upright.
Bible says no man was found righteous therefore Lord (the Son) became man
and became our sacrifice. Jesus as man was indeed righteous but when Jesus
used the word agathos He used it in term of Holiness and not righteousness.
Paul in Ephesians 5:9 used this same word in a conjugated form for the 3
Fruits not listed in Galatians and is translated as ‘in all goodness’.
To understand this we need to understand 2 points, one that the Heavenly
beings in Heaven call God by the name Holy, Holy, Holy and by no other
name, this is just one of the characteristics of His Nature yet highlighted
above all. Another point is that in John 1:18 it is written no one / no
being (does not mean just man but all living beings including the Heavenly
beings as Angels) other than the Son have seen the Father. That means
leaving for the Son not even the Angels have seen the Father.
If we say God is good (Holy) then we as sinful being or beings still
dwelling is sin, cannot expect to have any relationship with God, so we
need to separate ourselves from our carnal nature and live a life of
holiness.
In today’s message God is telling us those who say ‘God is good’ and do not
change, are thinking God would not do anything; they are going to be in for
a surprise. God tells us in today’s message these Christians would see the
greatest thing about them lose its hold, be it name, fame, riches,
‘talents’ or anointing. God continues to say the house they built will be
deserted and this house would also mean a church or congregation or
ministry. Lastly God says the vineyards they build would not give them wine
which means the people they led to be disciples would leave them or will be
fruitless.
People may say why today this message?
Bible says in season God inspects His people or the situation on earth and
takes action accordingly like He did during Noah, Abraham, Jeremiah etc.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, God in the Bible it is written in time and season as things start to
manifest beyond its boundaries, You intervene and do the needful. Lord
today there are many religious and famous Men and Women of God who are not
preaching of repentance nor of fear of God. They preach of ‘Prosperity
Gospel’, ‘Hyper Grace’ and ‘Once Saved forever Saved’; by this they are
leading people to destruction. Lord we pray they are stopped in their
works of destruction and your people saved...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Call him here
Mark 10:49And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And
they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he
calleth thee.
The testimony of Bartimaeus is given in 3 Gospels of Mark, Luke and
Matthew. In Mark and Luke the testimony is the same only with Mark
identifying the person as Bartimaeus and Mark also expresses the way he
approached Jesus (casting away his garment), while in Matthew the
testimony speaks of two blind persons shouting out to Jesus as 'Son of
David' and then Jesus heals them both. Some may think there is a problem
here.
There are people who think we should give some area for variations in
testimonies so they take these with a pinch of salt. It is good no
person thought of correcting these so called variations like people did
to the Quran. The Bible is the only book which has been reproduced
honestly even though people have not understood it fully or though there
would be errors. It is over ages we have learnt more and we have come to
understand more of the Bible's accuracy.
Similar to the variations in this testimony is the testimony of man with
a legion of evil spirits. Matthew talks of two men while others talk of
one. Some may thing this is a 'Matthew' problem of misreporting but when
we takes into record the places which Jesus came from to perform the
deliverance we will find these were two different incidents. A Christian
historian in his book 'The Search' documented the dates of these events
and all other events of the Gospel in their chronicle order.
Bartimuaes was not the name of the person but was his identity, the word
means son of Timaeus. This name was not a Hebrew / Aramaic name so he
was not a Jew. The name was a Roman name so this man was a Roman.
Someone researched on this person and found this man Timaeus was not
ordinary man but was a general in the army. His son was not born blind
but was made blind as punishment for rebelling against the Roman
authority and he was casted out of Jericho to beg for his living.
Jericho was not an ordinary town; it was an uptown where the richie
riches of that time lived. The city was like a fortress with mountains
/hills on three sides and huge walls on one side. There were two walls
back to back set as fence with temples of various gods in between these
walls. It was in this place (in between the walls) where the beggars and
the outcast of Jericho dwelled. When God bought down the walls of
Jericho He did so because of the unity of these pagan religions, similar
to what He did with the tower of Babylon (which was also a united
temple; it was not the physical height of the tower that troubled God).
The Romans never had any problem with Jesus and in fact they were happy
with Him since He disturbed the powerful lobby of Pharisees and
Sadducees. This lobby desired many a times to kill Jesus but could not,
for they were under the rule of the Romans so they could not take the
life of any person. They could punish but not kill (unless stoned in
accordance of Jewish law for adultery and breaking the Sabbath - which
they tried many a times with Jesus).
It was only after the healing of Baritimaeus that the Pharisees saw
their evil desire could materialize since Baritimaeus was a person
punished by the Roman authority and when Jesus healed him it was
considered a confrontation to the Roman authority.
Bartimaeus was not a Jew so he would have not known what the title 'Son
of David' title meant, but the other man with him may have started
shouting the name so Bartimaeus in his desire to be healed too started
shouting. This faith in Jesus caused Jesus to take note of them and
called them to Him and healed them. Jesus knew what would be the
consequence of Him healing this man but He did this to fulfill
righteousness. Had Jesus not healed this man the Jews may have not been
able to crucify Him.
Today, Lord is saying if we acknowledge Him and truly seek Him even if
we do not know Him very well yet He will go to any extent to restore us,
like He did to Bartimaeus.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and our Father. Heavenly Father your love for us has
no boundaries. You have and will go to any extend to reach out to us and
help us. It is our lack of faith that becomes a wall between You and us.
You do not break this wall for it will hurt us more like an egg broken
from inside brings life but broken from outside destroys it. You have
given us the seed of faith to break the wall of faithlessness from the
inside so as to reach out to You and be restored. Help us use this faith
and be restored...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Mark 10:46-52
46And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his
disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of
Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out,
and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the
more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call
the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do
unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.
And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
Luke 18:35-43
35And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain
blind man sat by the way side begging:
36And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
39And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace:
but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
40And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he
was come near, he asked him,
41Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord,
that I may receive my sight.
42And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying
God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
Matthew 20:29-34
29And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard
that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou
Son of David.
31And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace:
but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of
David.
32And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I
shall do unto you?
33They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and
immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
The bed of the King Solomon
Psalms 3: 7,8 Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men
are about it, of the valiant of Israel. They all hold swords, being
expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear
in the night.
Like the Catholic Church idolises men (humans) like Mary, the Pope, dead
Saints, so also the Jewish Church did (and does) to people like Moses
(Law of Moses), Elijah (Prophet who kept coming back), David (Star of
David the symbol of Jewish people) and Solomon (his riches and wisdom).
You can know this by the fact of their (both Catholic and Jewish
Churches) over exaggerating things connected to them.
Take for instance the legend of Solomon meeting Queen Sheba as written
in Jewish Targum Sheni states Solomon could talk to animals. One day as
the kings assembled in Solomon's courtyard merry with wine and the
animals were dancing before him. He noticed a bird (mountain-cock or
hoopoe) was missing and on being summoned the bird spoke of its 3 months
travel to a land exceeding rich with lots of gold, a land Solomon was
not aware of, so the bird suggests to go and summon the queen of that
land, which he allows and that is how Queen of Sheba lands in Jerusalem.
On arrival she finds Solomon in a palace with the flooring of glass, the
queen thinking the floor is water and Solomon was sitting on water she
smiles.
Mohammad believing this fairy-tale [like he did with all the heretic
Gospels and included incidents from them into the Quran] added that
Queen of Sheba while walking lifted her dress and revealed her hairy
legs which were hairy as a goat. One of the Islamic scholars actually
believed the legs were goat legs thus made a story as to how she got
them, that her mother envied (had relationship with) a goat. So we see
how tales got added to religion made of men.
Today's scripture has nothing to do with Solomon the son of David and is
symbolic like the whole book Songs of Solomon. Commentators like Barnes
and Gills say here Solomon symbolizes Christ. The word Solomon means
peace and symbolizes the King of Peace like Melchizedek king of Salem
did when he bought bread and wine.
The threescore (60) valiant men with sword (is singular not plural) is
symbolic since the word sword refers to the Word of God. Noah to Jesus
is 3000 years and Jesus would come again before the 3000 years are over
(on the third day He resurrected). Daniel says time and time and a half
is the period the book is sealed for. Jesus says the sign of 3 days
(after 3 days) is a sign for the wicked.
Note Chapter 3 of Songs of Solomon starts with Daughters of Jerusalem
and ends with Daughters of Zion. Zion and Jerusalem in natural were
names of the same city but in spiritual they refer to different stages
of spiritual growth.
Paul in his letter to Thessalonians says people before him and those
later who sleep in Christ will rise on the Day of Judgment when the
Groom comes for His Bride.
Today God is telling us not to fear death. Natural death is not the end
of the story for us who by faith have the promise of eternal life. But
that does not mean we pursue death. We cannot kill any human including
our own selves, and if we do we will be judged / questioned for it.
Let us know the purpose of our life. Let us live to be born-again in
Spirit so as to have eternal life and to do the mission that the Lord
has assigned to us as part of His Kingdom army so as to be blessed
richly in Heaven.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord when You created man death was not part of man, but sin caused
death to come. To avoid sin [corruption] to flourish You took away man's
access of the Tree of Life and also reduce his natural life span. You
cursed sinful man to the prison Hell to suffer his sins and perish unto
his spirit lifespan. But out of mercy You made a way for those who
believe in You to sleep until the Day of Judgment when all those whose
names written in the Book of Life pass this world and are collected unto
You. You Father desire us to be return unto You and be one with You. We
pray Lord we do not fear death for our life is in You but live it here
to its fullness...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

11Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the

1 Thessalonians 3:13-17
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Jeroboam slept
2 Kings 14:29 And Jeroboam slept with his fathers, even with the kings
of Israel; and Zachariah his son reigned in his stead.
In the OT there are 2 kings by the name Jeroboam the first and the
thirteenth kings of Israel. The first one came after the rule of Solomon
and he did evil in the eyes of God. It is written he 'made Israel to
sin'. Even the second Jeroboam was no saint he too did evil in the eyes
of God. With regards to the second Jeroboam there was a particular sin
which was tagged to him that was of worshipping calves (idols). Calves
were symbol of fertility so worshipping of calves at that time would be
equivalent to prosperity Gospel preaching today. What is very
interesting is when both died it is written they slept with their fathers.
In the Bible (OT and NT) all those after Noah who did not go to Hell
when they died it is recorded as they 'slept' or they were 'gathered to
their fathers / people'.The Covenant was started with Noah and completed
in Jesus Christ (across 7 people) and that is why Jesus came at the
perfect time to honor the Covenant made (started) with Noah.
Bible says Jesus Christ became a sacrifice from the foundation of
creation. In the spiritual rem time is not a factor. If God has said it
without addressing to a period then it goes across time. That is why in
OT we see although sacrifice was offered after healing yet in NT we
claim healing by the sacrifice already offered.
Coming back to the two Jeroboams as to how were they saved from Hell?
We see the first Jeroboam experience serve punishment, not only he even
his family did. God made him pay for his evil here on earth itself like
yesterday's message he went through the winepress.
The second Jeroboam although he had sinned he abided by the Lord to
recover the lost land and thus he reined for fifty one years, as long as
king Asa and second to king Azariah. God also fulfilled His word to his
forefather that four generations would sit on the throne by making
Jeroboam (second) son king for six months. But in that six months all
the riches and land that Jeroboam the second gathered was reduced to
little. When his son Zachariah died it is not written he slept or was
gathered.
Today's message is kind of summarizing our previous messages. The
spiritual journey of those called by the Lord is a wrestling with our
inner-man a journey from Jacob to Israel, from spiritual daughters to
spiritual sons. The encounter that the Lord spoke to us a few days back
makes us into sons and if we do not encounter the old man than like
yesterday's message we would go through the winepress, as Jeroboam the
first did. The second Jeroboam also did evil of pursuing prosperity
(worshipping calves) but then his abiding to what the Lord told him to
do cause him to not go through the winepress experience.
All of us have at least one sin or the other we are known by to the Lord
but yet we can avoid the winepress experience by abiding in the Lord as
much as possible. If we overcome the sin area than not only we but even
our generations will be blessed in us as Abraham overcame doubt and
became associated with faith. In the start he laughed when he was told
by the Lord but after the 25 years of spiritual wilderness journey he
learned his lesson and passed the greatest test of willing to sacrifice
the only son he was given as a promise.
[Prayer Starter]
Father God when You created man You had one purpose or mission for man
and that is to overcome darkness. Lord we pray we be a willing body to
your purpose in us and not go through the winepress experience. Your
Word says those whom You have chosen none among them You will loose and
this is true. So help us Lord to understand the benefit of being a
willing sacrifice...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Mighty young virgin daughter
Lamentations 1:15 The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty [male] in
the midst of me: he hath called an assembly [appointed time] against me to
crush my young [men]: the Lord hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of
Judah, as in a winepress.
You may wonder what kind of title I gave; the words need to be separated by
commas. The words are the four categories which today’s scripture speaks of
as been trodden and crushed as in a winepress. If you read commentaries you
will mostly find them talking of how the Chaldeans / Babylonians destroyed
the Jews of Jerusalem.
This book of Lamentation is like the book of Psalms, it is a Prophetic book
and not addressing to a set time but across time. When I expound it, it
will surprise you what the scripture really means.
Mighty - means strong
Young - comes from the word chosen
Virgin - speaks of someone untouched as in holy
Daughter - is a composite word made of ‘build’ and ‘son’, so means a person
being built into a son
If we take the meanings then the title would read as: Strong, chosen, holy,
child being built into a son.
Yesterday a brother was debating with me on yesterday’s message as to why I
stated ‘my daughter is my son’. It is difficult to break out of the natural
gender mentality for all our lives we are prisoned in it. In the natural we
have two genders male and female and those called by the Lord and part of
the flock have a spiritual gender, they are either son or daughter
(becoming son). Those who reject God (genderless) go to Hell. It is the
flock (sheep and goats) that are judged on Judgment Day.
Our natural gender helps us understand the spiritual gender that is why God
used different processes to create male (Adam - means man) and female
(woman / man with a womb whom Adam called Eve, after being cursed). Our
spiritual gender will decide if we go to Heaven or not. Bible says only
Sons will enter Heaven for those who are led by the Spirit become Sons of
God and one of the essential requirements to enter Heaven is baptism in the
Holy Spirit / being led by the Holy Spirit / being born again in the Spirit.
I have heard many sisters in Christ wrongly confessing themselves as
‘daughters of God’. Calling oneself as sister in Christ is ok but not
daughter of God. This has nothing to do with being male or female. We call
God our Father even though He holds adjectives of being a mother like
Jealous (possessiveness of a mother to her child). In the Bible it was the
son who had rights to inheritance not because they were male but it was so
as to understand the spiritual aspect of it (that is why in the natural it
was not a hard and fast rule, there are cases where daughters also
inherited).
Let us not be entrapped in our flesh but overcome our flesh and while we
overcome our flesh it us overcome the gender of the flesh. Let us look at
our spiritual gender, are we sons or are we daughters. We have no choice
over our natural gender but over our spiritual gender we have a choice. If
we are daughters in spirit then we need to be ready to undergo the crushing
as in a winepress to become sons, as today’s scripture states. So let us
pursue to be Sons of God by the help of the Holy Spirit so that we receive
our eternal inheritance in Him.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Spirit and the Heavens are your dwelling place, they are
unlike this creations but to make us understand the Heavens You created all
things in the likeness of things not visible. You Lord created man in your
Image and woman out of man. You created marriage as the oneness of woman
unto man, where woman becomes a part of man and not man a part of woman
showing woman who was created from man returns to man, like we return unto
You. Lord we pray we overcome this world, the natural and walk in the
spirit so that we become Sons and return unto You...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again [born from above], he cannot see the kingdom of
God.
Matthew 22:29-30
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the
scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage,
but are as the angels of God [who are called Sons of God] in heaven.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Taught by the Lord
Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children [son] shall be taught of the LORD; and
great shall be the peace of thy children.
In my early days I had heard a Preacher preach about Jesus' place in the
Bible Luke 4 17-19 and how we too who are called of the Lord have a
place [written mission] in the Bible. So at that time I prayed to the
Lord and the Lord gave me two sets of scriptures Jeremiah 3:14-15 and
Isaiah 65:17-25. Within a short moment I started to see these scriptures
come true in my life.
When my daughter was born the first thing I did was find her place in
the Bible for I knew she was not an ordinary child and the Lord had
great plans for her. Today I am building her with focus of her mission
in the Lord. I do not put her in a shell but allow her to experience
life, for her experiences are necessary for her understanding of her
mission.
Today's scripture tells us, who are called and who encounter the Lord
that our children [sons] will be taught by the Lord and great will be
their peace. My daughter is my son; in the natural she is my daughter
but in the spirit she is my son for the Lord is building her in His
Image, the Father's Image.
When I got married I was not in the Lord (had not encountered Him). For
six years we tried to have a child but failed. We even sought medical
help and that too was of no success. When I started turning to the Lord
I saw a vision where I was playing with my daughter and this vision was
in day time and was so real as if it was happening there. The day I
surrendered to the Lord I received the good news that my wife was
expecting (was at office and wrestling with the Lord like Jacob did).
Even before she was born we named her Salome which means peace, for we
made peace with God.
To have peace means a lot, it is not like nothing with happen. We
Christians are always at battle with ourselves and with falsehood.
Having peace is like being at war but with an impenetrable armor.
Let us pray our children are taught of the Lord and they have the peace
of God. The Lord is telling us if we ask this of Him today He will give
us. You may not be having a child or may not even be married but yet you
can ask this pray and in its time you will receive.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord when You blessed Abraham You blessed the seeds within Him and
called them your people. We who are by faith the seed of Abraham are
blessed with the blessing of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We pray Lord we
too receiving a blessing today not for ourselves but for our children,
that they become Sons in You, that they may be taught by You and hold
your peace...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Jeremiah 3:14-15
14Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto
you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will
bring you to Zion:
15And I will give you pastors [teachers] according to mine heart, which
shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Isaiah 65:17-25
17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former
shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for,
behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice
of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that
hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old;
but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant
vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and
another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and
mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they
are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and
while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat
straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall
not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Get out of the false Church, you who are called
Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no
unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the
vessels of the LORD.
Yesterday an apologist bro was discussing with me how a Hindu who read
the Bible was questioning him about the violence and degrading terms
used for people, like in Psalms 79:6 speaks of heathens which according
to him was a degrading term and also speaks of violence against them.
Those who just read translations in various languages will always have a
problem with understand the true meaning of scripture. Translators have
tried their best to be honest in their translation but yet due to many
factors, like limitation of the language translated into, limited
theological understanding, etc. caused them to not put forth the right
translation.
The Hebrew word 'gowy' translated as heathen is a generic word for
ordinary people. Of the 558 times it occurs in scriptures 374 times it
is translated as nations, 143 times as heathens, 30 times as gentiles
and 11 times as people. Now the translators changed the words according
to the people they felt it referred too, but in realty God did not, He
was consistent.
When a person comes into the Lord he or she is called a Prince of God /
Son of God (Israel) and no longer is public or people. That person is
now royalty of the Kingdom of God even though they live in this world.
And like we have in this world all royals or diplomats of other
countries have immunity so also we as Christians have immunity. This
scripture talks of the psalmist asking God to quicken His judgment on
the people.
Today's message is about God saying He is soon going to quicken His
judgment on the people. Spiritually blind people who do not know Him at
all are not the ones who draw His wrath but those who know His existence
and yet deny Him or deny His Word are the ones who attract His wrath more.
In today's world look at what is happening and you will see monotheistic
religions (other than Believers) like Islam, Catholicism etc. or
countries with their populations are the ones who are facing all kinds
of natural and unnatural / human problems.
If you are spiritually blind and believe in stones or forces of nature
as your gods, you may not face His wrath today but if you know God and
manipulate the truth then leave alone the Judgment that comes on
Judgment Day when all His flock will stand before the Judgment Seat,
today you will see His wrath. So God is sending a warning to get out of
from amongst them, renew yourself, accept Him and accept His Word. Like
in yesterday's message they need to encounter and be no longer people
but be royalty and have immunity.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You alone are God Almighty and there is no other God than You. We
pray people stop deceiving themselves and others, that they accept You
and your Word. Lord, You and your Word are one and inseparable, thus
accepting one and rejecting the other is like rejecting both. We pray
the people harken to this warning and be saved...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Psalms 79:6Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee,
and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

receive not of her plagues.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
He calleth those He chooses
Mark 3:13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he
would: and they came unto him.
In the Bible the first time God called any person was when He called
Adam that too when Adam had sinned and was hiding. God was not a man to
not know where Adam was or what had happened, yet we see God called out
to him and asked him why he was hiding.
The second time we see God calling was as the Angel of the Lord to stop
Abraham from killing Isaac whom God had asked to be sacrifice as a test
of Abraham's faith.
The third and fourth time the Lord called was to Moses, once on the
mountain to instruct him about witnessing to the world and from the
Tabernacle with regards to holy sacrifices.
The fifth time the Lord called was to Samuel when he was a small child
and the Lord did that to tell him about His judgment on His people.
There are many people the Lord spoke to before Samuel but the word call
in the first person tense with regards to the Lord is not used.
In today's message we read about Jesus calling those whom He chose and
these later became His core disciples. Many may think He called them
because they were special and His plans for them were good. Remember
Judas was one of the twelve whom He called and Jesus knew he would
betray right for the start yet He called Judas.
In Hebrew the word translated as call is 'qara' and this word has
another meaning which is 'to encounter'. In Greek the word used in
today's message to call is not 'lego' but is 'proskaleomai' that is why
in KJV it has been translated as calleth and not call. The word means
not just to call but means 'to call unto one's self'.
When God calleth or encounters a person it has a purpose and from the OT
we see the five purposes.
1 Repentance – encounter our sins
2 Test of faith – encounter our faith
3 Instruct /witness to the world – encounter the world
4 Sanctify oneself – encounter our desires
5 Reveal His Judgment – encounter His purpose
We as Christians are chosen and called, called to encounter. The
encounter starts within us and ends with His purpose. If we are not
encountering then we need to ask are we called, are we chosen?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord You knew us even before we were born in our mother's womb. Lord You
know us and You called us to be your chosen people. Lord we pray we
understand You calling us means we are at encounter with ourselves, the
world and with your purpose. We pray Lord we pass this encounter and
fulfill it as many in the Bible did...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Unification in division
Ezra 6:18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites
in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it
is written in the book of Moses.
You may find the title of today's message as a paradox. How can
something be united when it is divided? Let me state another paradox
which is also true that is, we are divided because we are trying to be
united.
I am not promoting denominations; denominations are the work of man his
lack of understanding of the Word of God. We are called to be just one
Church.
If one looks today's scripture minutely one may realize it was the
Levites who were set apart to be Priest yet the scripture talks of
Levites and Priests as two different entities. Priests being a subset of
the Levites were still classified separately. Both were divided but yet
not the same word of division is used for both of them, one says
'division' and other 'courses'.
In scriptures it was the Levites who were allowed to carry the Ark of
Covenant and if anyone else carried it, or even so touched it, they
would die. But when it came entering the Tabernacle or anything to do
with the Holy things of the Tabernacle it was only the Priests who were
allowed to do so and any other Levite who was not a Priest was not
allowed and it any dared they would die.
Who is a Levite and who is a Priest and what is the relevance of this
scripture to me, today?
All Believers today are counted as Levites for they are bought at the
price of the First Born. Like the Levites we Christians have no
inheritance in this world even though we live among the people of this
world, our inheritance is in the Lord, in His Kingdom. Those Believers
who take up the work of the Kingdom of God, of serving Him are
considered as Priests. Even though all are called to be Priest yet all
do not become Priest for all do not take up the onuses of serving God.
That is why David not being a Priest ate of Shewbread did not die or was
punished by God but Uzziah was when he took the censor.
In today's scripture both are divided into groups. The Levites were
grouped according courses and the Priests according to divisions. The
Aramaic word translated as courses refers to companies or portions and
the Aramaic word translated as division refers to section.
The Church of God is designed to be divided according to locations for
convenience not according to belief. We Christians have only one belief.
We have denominations according to beliefs because we have no clear
understanding of our belief. Everyone accuses the other of having the
wrong belief, of not following the true belief, but sadly none have the
right belief or are following the Truth, they all are having a part
understanding of the belief and are partly following the Truth.
The first problem with the Church is people think they know it all. Paul
who was the most admired for his understanding of scriptures in the
early Church himself said he did not know all. He used to get himself
updated in understanding of scriptures from people like Luke and Mark,
among others.
With regards to people working for God all are not called to be Bishops.
We have confused Bishop or Church Administrators with Pastors. Pastor
means shepherd and all Priests or those working in the Kingdom of God
and leading others in the Lord are called Pastors but those have the
Calling and responsibility to lead a local Church are called Bishops or
Administrators in the New Testament.
We see what is happening today, Men of God who are called to be
Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist, etc. are doing the role of the
Bishop. They are confused by the traditions of the Jews and by the
doctrine of the Catholic Church which is based on Nicolaitan doctrines
(who was a heretic Jew and is named in the NT).
Understand until the Word was not made flesh people did not have
understanding of scriptures or Callings. It was only when Jesus came the
truth was being revealed for the Spirit of God (Spirit of Truth) was
given to the Church. Until then people spoke and wrote the Word but did
not have its understanding, and among them were included the Prophets
through whom the Word was given, even though they delivered the Word
they did not have the full understanding of it, they knew it partly.
Let us neither be divided according to the flesh nor according to our
understandings. Let us be divided according to purpose of God and
Calling of God in our lives. Purpose of God is one and Callings parts of
the one body, yet many like the handles of the Ark was not one so that
its weight could be borne by man. When we are divided according to the
purpose and Calling we will carry Ark and serve in the Tabernacle and
the glory of God will be visible on us. By trying to be united according
to man's understanding or feeling we will be divided more and by being
divided according to God we will be united in Him.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord we pray we do not be divided according to human understanding and
by our greed. Lord, may we know we are one in You, but like the Ark
borne by two poles at its four ends, we may grow in the small groups we
are called to fellowship in daily and we follow the Calling we are
called to in You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Let us neither be divided according to the flesh nor according to our
understandings. Let us be divided according to purpose of God and
Calling of God in our lives. Purpose of God is one and Callings parts of
the one body, yet many like the handles of the Ark was not one so that

Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
How old are we?
Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst
formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting,
thou art God.
One of the reasons most do not know God or understand who God is
(Godhead/Trinity/Oneness etc.) is because they do not understand who
they are. Ask someone scripturally the following questions; when was I
created, how was I created, where was I before I was put in the womb of
my mother, how long do I live, where will I go after I die and what will
happen to me on and after Judgment Day? And you will get most people to
get overload and blow their fuses of their understanding.
Today's scripture talks of the earth and world being created before the
mountains. Earth is part of the world thus a subset cannot be used with
the word 'and'. Here like many other places the word 'earth' is
figuratively used for nations (people or mankind).
This scripture like many other scriptures talk of we being created or
existing even before this world was created. God / Jesus said 'I know
you from the foundations of this world', 'before you were born I knew
you', 'we were chosen from the foundations of this world' etc...
Before I started understanding God (there being only one God yet there
being Father, Son and Spirit) God cleared my mind about man. Man does
not have eternal life or ability to live eternally within himself, this
ability is only in God and which He has given His Son. But God has made
facility for man and other beings to live eternally in Heaven via eating
of the Tree of Life (not an actual tree but figurative, for us to
understand it). That does not mean if we eat once of the Tree we will
live forever. Note Adam lived a long time before Eve was made (God
observed him and then concluded he was lonely). Even Adman and Eve lived
a period of time before they were tempted by Satan. We see they were not
restricted to eat from the Tree of Life and yet they did not. We also
see later they were removed (access) from Eden so that they did not live
forever by eating of the Tree. When I asked the Lord about this I was
made to understand eating of this Tree gives us a renewal of life that
means I again live my spirit life (not earth life time which is a small
percentage of our spirit life) that is why Adam and Eve did not eat of
it for they had no need of it. So to live eternally I need to have
eternal access to the Tree of Life by dwelling in Heaven.
The other question, if I came alive in the womb of my mother then how
could I exist before for God to know me from the beginning (also
beginning of what).
The Bible / the Word of God starts with existence of darkness and ends
with removal (overcoming) of darkness. Darkness came at a period and was
not there from eternity; even the word everlasting in today's scripture
does not mean eternity but comes from the root word meaning hidden. To
be hidden one needs to hide so the period from going into hiding and
from being revealed is noted as hidden period, so there is a start and
is not eternal.
If we were created in the beginning and the names of us who will succeed
are already written in the Book of Life then what were we and where were
we? This is answered in scriptures. Bible says we were as seed
(spiritual seed).Every plant /tree has a life span and this starts from
the moment the seed germinates, but we can keep seeds at times for
hundreds of years not affecting its life span.
We were created as seeds in the beginning that means all of us were made
together and we existed in the loins of our fathers (all our generations
are already in us, in the fathers). When our parents came together and
when the egg in the womb of our mothers got fertilized, we as seed got
planted in the womb of our mothers and our soul came alive, like Adam
came alive when he (spirit being) was put in his body.
Let us understand ourselves because this creation is made around us and
set for us. This creation is just a stage set for us to do what we were
created for. Instead of focusing on this world let us focus on us and
our purpose. If we do our purpose well everything else will
automatically become favorable for us.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when darkness came into existence You created man to be the light
that shines and overcomes the darkness. Lord we pray your people
understand the purpose of they have being created for and what You have
set for them at the end. We pray they focus not on this temporary world
but on themselves who are greater than this world...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of

creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he
him; male and female created he them.

The Wild Asses will not find grass
Jeremiah 14:6 And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they
snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was
no grass.
Today's scripture talks of wild asses, dragon and of grass, all these
are symbolic and need to be understood by their root meanings or
symbolic meanings.
The Hebrew word 'wild ass' comes from the root word 'being fruitful' and
speaks of those who labor in the flesh like the animal does.
The Hebrew word translated as 'dragon' is actually the word 'whale' and
means 'elongate' (a dragon is a Chinese mythical character). And the
scripture talks of snuffing the spirit like a whale that blows air with
water through it spout.
Grass symbolizes nourishment.
Today the Lord is telling those Christians who labor hard like an ass in
the flesh and who snuff the Spirit that their eyes will fail them for
they will not see any future. They will be disheartened by the bleak
future because their spirits are not nourished.
God is telling us be led by the Spirit. We may labor but let labor of
the flesh be little and the Spirit be strong. When Adam had not sinned
and was farming he did not need to tilt even though there was no rain
for he did not need to, it was water from the mist and water from the
water table which nourished the harvest. Rain in the Bible symbolizes
mercy. God is saying those who are led in the Spirit do not need mercy
from above for the provision already given in Spirit will fulfill them.
To be supernatural people living a supernatural life we need to give the
Spirit more importance than the flesh for this the flesh will hinder us.
Let us overcome the flesh and be led by the Spirit and live supernatural.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Spirit, when we operate in the flesh and not in the Spirit
we actually disconnect You from us. Lord we pray we heed to the Spirit
and be led by the Spirit. For You Lord nothing is impossible, but the
flesh hinders the Spirit. It is your promise that does not let the
Spirit destroy the flesh and leaves it for us to overcome since You said
as long as your Spirit (Rainbow) is with man You will not destroy all
flesh. We pray we do not overcome the Spirit and be consumed but
overcome the flesh and be blessed abundant in You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb
of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain
upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of
the ground.
Genesis 3:17-19
17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of
thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying,
Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow
shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt
eat the herb of the field;
19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto
the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto
dust shalt thou return.
Genesis 3:23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of
Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Genesis 5:29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort
us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground
which the LORD hath cursed.
Genesis 9:13I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of
a covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:16And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it,
that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every
living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith
Beware of the Many
Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall
come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye
not therefore after them.
If you read the Greek text the scripture it does not say 'for many shall
come in my name, saying, I am Christ'. The word Christ is not there in
the scripture and has been added by translators. Without the word the
sentence makes more than 1 meaning. Jesus said 'many will come in my
name', it does not necessary means they will claim they are Jesus
Christ. He said 'in my name' may mean in His authority saying they are
Men of God, Jesus said do not follow them.
A few days back I saw a TV clip (interview) of a 'Man of God' (from an
African country) who asked his congregation to bring their underwear to
service so that he would bless them and protect the person from spirits
(he does not use the words 'evil spirits'). He believed there were
spirits who rape them in their sleep so if he blessed the underwear then
the spirit would not harm them. He is not the only such 'Man of God' who
uses support of devils to preach, there are many like him who preach
more on devils, curses, sicknesses, evil of various forms both in spirit
and in the flesh, more than of the Kingdom of God. There are the others
who are 'world preachers', preaching of blessings of this world, of
being 'good Christians', they are also known as 'Prosperity Gospel
Preachers'. Look around you will find one or another sample of 'Men of
God' whom Jesus warned not to follow for they do not build you in the
Lord or expand the Kingdom of God but build their own empire.
One simple test I suggest to test a Man of God or Pastor, is to ask them
to explain the NT teachings from the OT like Jesus, Paul, the other
Apostles and Teachers of the Word in the NT did. If the person says do
not follow the OT or it is not for you then either that person is
immature in the Word or he or she is the one Jesus warned of in today's
scriptures. If the guild himself does not know the way then how is he
going to guide you? If indeed he or she is led by the Spirit of God then
the Spirit of Truth would indeed open his or her eyes to see the Truth.

Lord we pray people heed of today's warning. We have seen great revivals
and events where thousands and lakhs of people attend and speak great of
but these and not changed the people and the Kingdom of God suffers the
pass 2000years. The early disciples lacked communication advantages we
have or the transport advantages we have yet they were more fruitful in
making Christians than most of today's Men of God. Lord we pray for
exposure of these false or misled 'Men of God' so that your people be
saved...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 21:9-11
9But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for
these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom:
11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and
pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
