I don't apologise in saying this - Word of Faith preachers have been found weighed in the balance and found wanting when floughting the Word of God in order to build their empires and live luxuary life styles. Suggest Jim Bakker and company sell their aquired possessions by fleecing the flock, take up their cross, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ before the Great Tribulation begins after the Body of Christ is taken Home!

For those discerning the religious and political content over the situation that lies in Christendom, Believers are noticing how the modern western Christian church is being modernized to suit the whims of the 21st century, most of which goes unnoticed, played down by church leaderships which claim that it does not concern them, and thus goes not reported so that congregations are not alarmed and therefore avoiding any form of discussion.

As church goers and those following this and that person who declare themselves to be teachers and prophets turn away from the truth, they necessarily turn against the true shepherds which Almighty God has ordained to look after His sheep. So the Apostle Paul tells Timothy that in that day to come, “They will not endure sound teaching.” It’s not that people would not know what is true, but that they will not endure what is true and disclaim what is errot. Because they have come to hate the truth, they will now hate those who proclaim the truth. The very teachers that once drew them will now repulse them. What has become of the modern church is that it is rejecting the Truth and those who teach the Truth, and is embracing every wind and doctrine together entertaining signs and wonders appertaining occult practices which have been dressed up to be as of the Holy Spirit . Now what? It is obvious and inevitable: They will embrace false teachers. “Having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.” 

As these people become hardened in sin, as they grow in their rebellion, they will want to be led by people who tell them those things they want to hear. The Apostle Paul uses a great word-picture to describe this: itching ears. These are ears that want to be tickled by novelty, to hear that God is doing something new, by something that will be respectable to society and palatable to a godless world. They will soon find these kind of teachers who will justify themselves and in turn walk away from the Truth and who will validate them in their rebellion. Once they have rejected the Truth and dismiss the warnings as given in the Word of God, and once they have found teachers who will tickle their itching ears, “They will wander off into myths.” They will embrace full-out error, full out heretical teachings this leading onto apostasy. They will become hardened in their sin so they will now believe error is good and true and the Truth no longer applicable. They will become so deluded and rebellious that they will celebrate what God hates and do it all in the name of God. They will wander off, just like dumb sheep wandering away from their good shepherd. The narrow road to Salvation has no room to wander, but that broad road to destruction has all the room they need to wander this way and that. And they will die. Those claiming to have acted in the name of Christ will be shown to hate Christ. 

The Devil is out to sabotage the Christian Church in any way possible and stop congregations from fulfilling their mission. They will be entertaining every wind and doctrine. As the verse from 2 Corinthians suggests, the Enemy is so crafty that he will disguise himself in situations that show up in the Church and lead members congregations away from Christ without them even realizing what Satan is doing it. 1 Timothy 4 verse 1 declares “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” This is what is happening within the Christian Church - so beware!

Satan has already a grip within the so called Christian Church by promoting false teachings and prophecies which appear to be and dressed up from the Holy Spirit gaining attention to those who have itching ears. Those celebrities involved love doing this is because they have large followings who have itching ears. This well known preacher has denounced The Reformation as shown here on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWJM-tP90Zo and in turn embracing the Roman Catholic Church while saying that the Pope is his brother. But what about the "falling away" which is prophesied in God's word? Not a world wide revival!
