Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD has endowed women with a special sense of wisdom which man lacks.
[TALMUD, Naddah 45]
TRANSCENDENT WONDER OF WORSHIP
"There is none holy as YEHOWAH, for there is none besides YOU, nor is
there any rock like our GOD." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 2 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]
Hannah glorified the LORD GOD in exaltation praising HIM for giving her
the son she had petitioned for. This prayer of thanksgiving was offered
up after she had weaned Samuel and delivered him to Eli the priest. As
promised in accordance to her vow, Hannah gave her son back to the LORD
GOD as long as he lived.
The heart of Hannah rejoices in the LORD and her strength was exalted in
HIM, for she was no longer disgraced for being barren as in previous
times. Peninnah, her husband's other wife had provoked her year after
year. But now, Hannah's petition for a child was granted and her verse
continued: "Talk no more with lofty pride; let no arrogance cross your
lips! For the LORD is an all-knowing GOD; by HIM actions are weighed.
The bows of the mighty men are broken, and the faltering are girded with
strength. Men once full must hire out for bread; men once hungry hunger
no more. While the barren woman bears seven, and she who has many
children has become feeble." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 3 - 5 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]
For her faithfulness, the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH visited Hannah again
and she again conceived and bore three more sons and two daughters. [1
Samuel/Shemuel Alef 2. 21] "YEHOWAH sets the barren woman among her
household as a joyful mother of children." [Psalms (Tehillym) 113. 9
Tanakh, Kethuvim]
"YEHOWAH deals death and gives life, casts down into Sheol and raises
up. YEHOWAH makes poor and makes rich; HE brings low, HE also lifts up
high. HE raises the poor from the dust, lifts up the needy from the
dunghill, setting them with princes, and makes them inherit the throne
of glory." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 6 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Hannah,
being a devoted woman, knew scriptURES and was reflecting the Psalms:
"HE raises the poor out of the dust, lifts the needy from the refuge
heap to set them with the great, with the great men of HIS people."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 113. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Hannah continued: "For the pillars of the earth are YEHOWAH'S; HE has
set the world upon them. HE guards the steps of HIS faithful, but the
wicked perish in darkness -- for by strength shall no man prevail. The
adversaries that strive with YEHOWAH shall be shattered; HE will thunder
against them from the heavens. YEHOWAH will judge the ends of the earth.
HE will give strength to HIS KING, and exalt the HORN of HIS ANOINTED
ONE." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Miryam (Mary) the Mother of JESUS echoed the song of Hannah when she
also magnified the LORD as her spirit exalted in GOD her SAVIOUR. [Luke
1. 46 - 55] My heart too exults in the HOLY ONE OF OLD , my horn is
exalted in the LORD. I rejoice in HIS salvation and worship the in the
beauty of holiness!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation.
May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of
our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel, Amen. May YOU,
MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified,
adored & exalted above all else throughout eternity. Blessed are YOU
beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered
in this world, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is no reason to try predicting the future, the BIBLE has already
done that . . .and with greater certainty.
EVEN NOW
"You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN
special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you
out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but
are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have
obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10]
There are so very many marvelous and wondrous things that await us IF we
have trusted the LORD Messiah YesHUA for our salvationÂ…specifically,
His mercies: "The LORD is longsuffering, slow to anger, abundant in
mercy and abounding in kindness; forgiving iniquity and transgression."
[Numbers (B'Midvar) 14. 18 Tanakh, Torah] "One thing GOD has spoken;
two things have I heard: That might belongs to ADONEY, and faithfulness
is YOURS, O LORD, to reward each man according to his deeds." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 62. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
It is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into
the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love
HIM." [1 Corinthians 2. 9] However, do not miss the next line. . .
"But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT
searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 10]
"The concealed (secret) things belong to the LORD GOD, but the overt
acts (those things which are revealed), it is for us and to our children
ever to apply all the words and provisions of this TEACHING (Law)."
[Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh, Torah] This means that we are
free from any condemnation at the Judgment. "There is therefore now no
condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS, who do not walk according
to the flesh, but according to the SPIRIT. For the Law of the SPIRIT of
life in CHRIST JESUS has made me free from the law of sin and death."
[Romans 8. 1 - 2]
We have been justified already, declared righteous with the
righteousness of MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF. "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love
toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much
more then, having now been justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through HIM. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled
to GOD through the death of HIS SON, much more, having been reconciled,
we shall be saved by HIS life." [Romans 5. 8 - 10] "But now the
righteousness of GOD apart from the Law is revealedÂ…even the
righteousness of GOD, through faith in CHRIST JESUS, to all and on all
who believe." [Romans 3. 21 – 22] We are now the people of the
RIGHTEOUS, LOVING GOD who have obtained mercy.
In the magnificent passage, the precious Apostle John confirms the
glorious truth, "Beloved, now we are children of GOD; and it has not yet
been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when HE is revealed, we
shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2]
As CHRIST-like-ones, we have the wonderful assurance that our blessed
LORD JESUS is praying for us, even now for Messiah, the perfect REFUGE,
is entered into Heaven itself. "For MESSIAH has not entered the holy
places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven
itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us" [Hebrews 9. 24]
since "HE always lives to make intercession for them." [Hebrews 7. 25]
"Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you
faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to GOD
our SAVIOUR, WHO alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and
power, both now and forever, Amen!" [Jude 24 - 25] What a MIGHTY GOD we
serve!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
May your ever-growing faith grant you the privilege to witness and
experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of
slavery to sin. All glory and praise to the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD, KING OF
CREATION!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on

your front door
forever.

SAVED FROM FIRE
"From the depths of Sheol the mightiest of warriors

speak to him and his
allies; the uncircumcised, the slain by the sword, have

gone down and
lie there…they made a bed for her among the slain, with

all her
masses; their graves are round about her. They are all

uncircumcised,
slain by the sword. Though their terror was once spread

over the land of
the living, they bear their shame with those who have

gone into the Pit;
they are placed among the slain." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El)

32. 21, 25
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

It is a tragic mistake to ignore the subject of Hell,

Sheol, the Pit,
Hades all the names of the literal place for punishment

of the
wicked. Ezekiel gives us a striking explicit picture of

those in
earlier ages who are now in Hades, awaiting the final

judgment.
Religion, in itself with its complex concepts and rituals,

will not keep
one from hell where "the corpses of the men who

rebelled against ME:
Their worms shall not die, nor their fire be quenched;

they shall be a
horror to all flesh." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 24 Tanakh,

Nevi'im;
also see Mark 9. 43 - 48]

Having a religion or form of righteousness, will never

save a person.
Paul spoke of those who have a form of religion that

does not save:
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will

come: For men
will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters,

proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,

unholy, unloving,
unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal,

despisers of
good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure

rather than
lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its

power. And
from such people TURN AWAY! For of this sort are

those who creep into
households and make captives of gullible women

loaded down with sins,
led away by various lusts, always learning and never

able to come to the
knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres

resisted Moses, so do
these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds,

disapproved
concerning the faith; but they will progress no further,

for their folly
will be manifest to all, as theirs also was." [2 Timothy 3.

1 - 9]

"Although they knew God, they did not glorify HIM as

God, nor were
thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their

foolish hearts
were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became

fools, and changed the
glory of the incorruptible GoD into an image made like

corruptible
man…and birds and four-footed animals and creeping

things. Therefore
GOD also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of

their hearts, to
dishonor their bodies among themselves, who

exchanged the truth of GOD
for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature

rather than the
CREATOR." [Romans 1. 21 - 25]

We are admonished, "If you refrained from rescuing

those taken off to
death, those condemned to slaughter if you say, `We

knew
nothing of it' - surely HE WHO fathoms hearts will

discern the
truth, HE WHO watches over your life will know it, and

HE will pay each
man as he deserves." [Proverbs (Mishle) 24. 11 12

Tanakh,
Kethuvim] Also, "keep yourselves in the love of God,

looking for the
mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST unto eternal life. And

on some have
compassion, making a distinction; but others save with

fear, pulling
them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by

the flesh."
[Jude 21 - 23]

The LorD YESHUA warned "Enter through the narrow

gate. For wide is the
gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction,

and many enter
through it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult the

road that leads
to life, and only a few find it. BEWARE of false prophets,

who come to
you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous

wolves. You will
know them by their fruits." [Matthew 7. 13 - 15] Only

those who worship
the CREATOR, the TRUE & LIVING GOD, who receive the

LORD MessiaH YESHUA
as their personal SaviouR from sin, will be saved.

Believe and accept
HIS free gift of salvation with seeing hearts, hearing

souls, and
obedient lives.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and

all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Come my dear friend to meet the Bride,

the Sabbath
presence, let us welcome! Those who keep the Sabbath

and call it a
delight shall rejoice in GOD'S Kingdom.
O INFINITE & MERCIFUL CREATOR , firm in the faith we

are emboldened to
seek YOUR PRESENCE, and we are assured that we

shall find YOU if, with
sincere hearts, we seek YOU. As the flowers of the field

drink of the
dew of heaven and of the radiance of the sun, so would

we, lifting our
spirits unto YOU, drink of the pure fountains of holiness.

In YOU alone
our souls rejoice, for YOU are our life and our song.

Amen.
Enjoy a blessed Sabbath!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the

return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.
