Does anyone remember Brother Bob, IXTHEUS?

Hi,

I came across Bro Bob a few years ago when he was posting his Christian Devotionals on various Christian Forums. I was encouraged by how staright forwardly Christian they were without any self promotion.

I offered at that time to compile a website of his devotionals in the hope that people could find them more readily. He agreed.

The website was initially set up on geocities but upon it's demise moved to another free provider.

I live in South Africa. Your dad gave me lots of advice when it came to prayer and the dillema that I was facing when I met my fiance who was a non-believer. With his encouragement and firm advice, i stood my ground and prayed and fasted as your dad advised. God has given me strength and now my hubby is a believer. Your dad has also made a huge impact in the lives of others in my family as the messages that were sent to me were forwarded to everyone that I knew. Hope all is well with you. I still have lots of his messages stored in my personal folder which i still refer to. God bless you!!

I have been wondering why I have not received anymore posts for a long while, I have been searching to find out where Brother Bob went. I am shocked and saddened and yet happy for him that he is now with the Lord Jesus Christ. Brother Bob has had such a great impact on my own ministry, his words and guidance have been and encouragement to me.
I hope that his websites will continue to be on the web so that we can continue to tap into the wisdom,

Dave I was about to post this out in Forums where I am member and to ask others to pass on to all Forums they Belong to and Friends.
Before I do.

Have you thought of having a Free Website Blogg set up where others could post replies and I can give the link in the MESSAGE I will post or a contact where they can mail you. maybe set up another rather than your personal email address for fear of spammers or worst still hackers.

Yes he lived out his final years in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA.

I am looking for any online contacts that he might have made along the years.

None of us knew what kind of impact my Dad was making on the world, so I am interested to hear feedback from people who knew him.

Slight misunderstanding.

I am asking if anyone knew him personally.

My Dad passed away 2 days before Christmas last year (2009) and I am attempting to let people know about this, in case he had made friends out there.

I am in possession of his old laptop and data and deciding what to do with it all.

Hi Dave,
I am sorry you have lost contact with your Dad and hope you will soon be reunited with him.
I subscribe to IXTHEUS and would receive Bro Bob's messages and distribute around Forum groups.
It has been a long while since I received these, actually last dated 26th October 09. I have a Folder for him in my mailbox just opening now to add here details
