Matthew 16:24 says,Then said Jesus unto His disciples, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me ".

Your " cross " is God's will for you. There is always a cost involved. Your cross is a choice; you can say no, but to your ultimate loss. Your cross is NOT health problems or a rebellious child or financial difficulties, but these are not your "cross to bear" When you choose to take up your cross you choose the painful death of your plans, and your dreams. The cross is always for death but from it comes new and abundant life on a new plane. Choosing to carry your cross you will learn to give thanks in all things as you see God in control.
