Trial of Jesus -
Described in the Four Gospels

There is no record of the trial of Jesus before the High Priest Caiaphas and the Great Sanhedrin or Pontius Pilate in any of the Jewish records. And, there is no record of it in the historical records of Josephus. It is as though it didn't exist.
We do, however, have some record of what is believed to be letters from Pontius Pilate. Letter from Pontius Pilate dated Calends 5 (thought to be April 5, 30 AD) found at the middle of the page at this link:

At age 36 Annas was removed as High Priest by the Roman Procurator Gratus for imposing and executing capital sentences which the High Priests and Jewish people were forbidden to do under the Roman Government. Although removed from office, Annas had considerable political power through his five sons and his son-in-law Caiaphas who was High Priest. Caiaphas most likely had asked that Jesus be taken to Annas first to obtain His approval for the action He was about to take with regard to Jesus.

Trial of Jesus before High Priest Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin

The Sanhedrin trial of Jesus refers to the Canonical Gospel accounts of the trial of Jesus before the Jewish Council, or Sanhedrin, following his arrest and prior to his trial before Pontius Pilate. It is an event reported by all four Canonical gospels of the Bible, although John's Gospel does not explicitly mention the Sanhedrin in this context.[1]

The Gospels report that after Jesus and his followers celebrated Passover as their Last Supper, Jesus was betrayed by his apostleJudas Iscariot, and arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus was then taken to the high priest's house where he was mocked and beaten. Jesus is generally quiet, does not mount a defense, and rarely responds to the accusations, but is condemned by the Jewish authorities. The Jewish leaders then take Him to Pontius Pilate, the governor of Roman Judaea and ask him to kill Jesus for claiming to be the King of the Jews.

Legal Notes of Interest

The arrest of Jesus was without authority of law, and therefore, illegal.

The year of the death of Jesus, Annas to whom Jesus was first taken was a politician with no legal authority.

The Great Sanhedrin was unlawfully assembled.

Hebrew Laws prohibited such a meeting in the night time or on any feast day. The Lord’s Passover, Nisan 13/14, was a feast day – one of Gods set appointed times.

Trials leading to a death penalty were only to be held during the day.

Jesus was found guilty of blasphemy before Caiaphas and the Great Sanhedrin. Before Pilate, the charge was changed to sedition, without notice to Jesus.

Jesus was denied an opportunity to obtain a lawyer or witnesses to testify for Him.

No person can be found guilty only on His confession of guilt.

Two witnesses must testify in support of the charge. There were no witnesses of the charge of sedition at the trial of Jesus before Pontius Pilate.

A trial carrying a death penalty could not lawfully be held for just one day.

The Romans had taken from the Great Sanhedrin its authority to sentence anyone to the death penalty.

Pilate, as the Roman Governor, having stated four times that Jesus was not guilty of any wrong, should have released Him instead of delivering Him over to the mob for crucifixion.

The trials resulting in the death of Jesus on the cross were done without lawful judgment and conviction.

The Great Sanhedrin had knowledge and experience with Hebrew law yet ignored it.

Interesting Numbers
See Zechariah 14:16 and Exodus 12:14. Jesus was born in the evening of Tishrei 14 that begins the first day of Tabernacles. He died on Nisan 14 the day that begins the first day of Passover at 6 PM.
John 1:14 tells us that the Word (Jesus) was made flesh and came and dwelt (tabernacled) among us. John 19:14tells us Jesus was turned over for crucifixion (on Nisan 14) at 6 AM after six hours of illegal trials during the night from 12 AM until 6 PM.

Numbers - Easter

Easter is a word taken from the name of Ishtar the wife . . . of Tammuz. On Easter many look to the east in a worship state of mind.
In Ezekiel 8:14 there is a reference to Tammuz (Baal) the sun god. Could the 14 be a indicator that those scriptures are an expression of God's displeasure with our remembrance of His birth, death and resurrection being tied to the time of the birth and resurrection of Tammuz?
December 25 is the recorded birthday of Tammuz (Baal). Easter Sunday is the date of his supposed resurrection.

KJV Ezekiel 8
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and
they worshipped the sun toward the east.
