Why Bother Jewish People with the Gospel of Messiah Jesus?

The great commission includes going into Judea where the Jews were, I believe based on this we should witness to everyone.

Why Bother Jewish People with the Gospel of Messiah Jesus?

Christians occasionally ask, ?Do I really have to bother Jewish people with
the gospel?? The implication is that either Jewish people already have their
own religion for salvation, or sharing the gospel is a fruitless effort in
light of Jewish association of persecution at the hands of so-called
Christians in the name of Jesus. 

The Messiah Jesus (Y?shua) told His disciples that there is one unique means
of salvation for all people, including the Jewish nation. He said, ?I am the
way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me?
(John 14:6). 

The one God bound himself by an unconditional covenant with Abraham (Gen.
5:5-18). All of his descendants through Jacob were blessed, to the honor of
God?s name (Gen. 12:2-3,17:4-6, 18:18, 22:17, Gal. 3:8). However, that was
not an assurance of salvation for all Jewish people. The Abrahamic covenant
reveals God?s faithfulness and grace before the eyes of all peoples forever.
He is the God who is saying, ?Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is
God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a
thousandth generation? (Deut. 7:9). So, Jewish people do not have saving
atonement in the covenant with Abraham. 

Also, historically, awful things have been done to Jewish people in the name
of Jesus. The Savior never sanctioned or desired any of it. So, it is
unreasonable to assume that the same God who blessed the descendants of
Abraham would perpetrate acts of hatred on them through Crusaders,
Inquisitors, or nationalist anti-Semites. 

Horrible things, allegedly done in the name of the gospel, can never nullify
the truth of it. The gospel message might be obscured by awful deeds, but
the facts of salvation remain. 

In light of the biblical and historical reality of the gospel, it is not a
?bother? to appropriately and lovingly share the good news of Jesus with
Jewish people. 

Reconciliation with God is only possible for anyone, including Jewish people
through Y?shua. 

No excuse obscures that message. There is no other salvation. Jewish people
need that truth as much as anyone else.
