Benghazi rocked by massive car bombs – 33 killed, 47+ wounded

The infamous city of Benghazi, Libya, was hit with a terrorist attack on Wednesday that has left at least 33 people dead and 47 injured.
Two car bombs exploded near the Bait Radwan Mosque on Wednesday evening local time, the Chicago Tribune reported, the second of which was timed “to go off as residents and medics gathered to evacuate the wounded from the first blast, aiming to cause a maximum of casualties,” according to Benghazi police.
No terror group has explicitly claimed responsibility for this attack, though some are assigning blame to the remaining fragments of the Islamic State in the area.
Designed To Murder Many
The first of two car bombs exploded as worshippers were leaving the mosque after evening prayers, Reuters reported. It was 10-15 minutes after that when the next, more powerful, bomb detonated, after medics had already arrived.
“Many people were gathering and more people left the mosque when the second blast happened, and my brother died then,” Khaled Almajdoub told reporters. “He has four daughters, no political or religious affiliation and was just a small business owner.” Almajdoub said his brother was a mechanic.
Another individual killed in the first bombing was Ahmed Al-Fitur, who headed the Arrest and Special Investigation Unit of Dignity Operation, The Libya Observer reported.
Nations and international organizations condemned the attacks as war crimes, saying that any attacks that target civilians — either directly or indiscriminately — violate humanitarian laws. Egypt, a neighbor of Libya, asked that the international community “take a firm line on arms smuggling into Libya.”
Libya’s government, which is backed by the U.N., announced a three-day mourning period following the attacks.
A Nation In Chaos
After former leader Moammar Gadhafi was ousted in 2011, Libya descended into an ongoing civil war as rival governments were established in the eastern and western regions of the nation. The resulting chaotic conditions and economic crises created an opportunity for terrorist groups to gain a foothold in the area.
In 2012, the United States diplomatic compound in Benghazi was attacked by Islamic terrorists and resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty.
Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the administration of former President Barack Obama initially blamed the attacks on anger over an anti-Islam video on the Internet, but later admitted that the attack was pre-planned and carried out by a terrorist group.
While some may be tempted to overlook violence in terror-ridden countries like Libya, the deaths of innocents should never go unnoticed — no matter where they are. Our thoughts are with the victims of another senseless act of Islamic terror.

The attack on Benghazi in 2012 was more than a tragedy — it was a likely-criminal case of negligence on the part of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Barack Obama administration. The event, which was memorialized in the blockbuster hit 13 Hours, continues to be a contentious issue among Americans.
On New Year’s Eve, Benghazi survivor Kris Paronto reignited the controversy by tweeting that Clinton and Obama left him, his team, and 30 other Americans to die during the 13-hour, seemingly-pre-planned storming of the U.S. embassy in Libya.
Paronto’s tweet comes just a month after Ahmed Abu Khatallah, a key figure in the Benghazi terrorist attack, was found not guilty of murder.
Left to Die
It all started with a simple New Years greeting. Paronto wrote, “Happy New Year everyone! This is the time to put trouble and past mistakes behind you, but remember to learn from them so they’re not repeated, and start with a clean slate,” and thanked his followers for their support, sharing the post on Instagram and Twitter.
Baseball legend Curt Shilling, an avid Trump supporter, responded, tweeting his best wishes and encouragement to Paronto on Twitter on New Year’s Eve:

Clinton says she has no regrets about sleeping during Benghazi attack
Lorie Shaull / CCL
Conservatives have blasted Hillary Clinton for years over her handling of the attack on Benghazi in September 2012, but now, the former secretary of state has let the cat out of the bag — and it’s worse than we expected.
Clinton told conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt on Wednesday that she does not regret going home early to sleep during the Benghazi attack.
While Clinton’s interview with Hewitt was part of her tour to promote her new memoir, What Happened, her nonchalance about the deadly Benghazi attacks isn’t a good look on her — and likely won’t earn her any new fans.
“I went home”
Clinton said she left the State Department around 9 or 10 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2012, during a briefing on the attacks three days later, when the department was still working to get Americans out of the area.
She told Hewitt that she headed back to the State Department early the next morning.
“You know, I was there until 9, 10 o’clock. We had done a number of what are called SVTCs, you know, satellite conferences,” Clinton said. “I had talked on the phone. I had talked over satellite with our team in Libya. I had talked with members of our government, Defense and Intel and others, obviously the White House.”
According to Clinton’s recollection, the U.S. government was doing everything in its power to rescue those Department of Defense and CIA personnel who were surrounded by hundreds of Islamist militants that night and the next day. But instead of ensuring that herself, she went home to sleep, she said:
You know, we knew that our goal was to find all of our people and get them out of there, and that was ongoing. And so you know, I went home for a few hours of sleep. I talked to the president, bringing him totally up to date, and then obviously, you know, headed back early the next morning.
In an interesting side note, Clinton’s admission that she went home and slept appears to contradict her earlier statements. According to Politifact:
For her part, Clinton has said in her memoir Hard Choices and in congressional testimony that she worked late into the night and did not sleep, though she did work from her Washington home for at least part of the night.
“I doubt it”
Would staying later have made a difference? Clinton argued: “I doubt it.”
Clinton further claimed that her critics were wrong to make the issue “political.”
She told Hewitt:
That was never the principal charge that the Republicans and others made against me, and those in the administration. So I don’t think that silenced the critics, because there seem to be a calculation that this was an issue that they could make political.
Counter Claims
Contrary to Clinton’s telling of the tale, many have claimed that the Benghazi attack, which left four Americans dead, could have been prevented.
Some evidence shows that American ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was worried about the poor security situation in Benghazi prior to the attack. Stevens and others worried that the CIA, which relied mostly on supposedly “friendly” militias, was a sitting duck in the middle of a firestorm.
Additionally, veterans of the battle, including those agents who repelled the failed Islamist takeover, have stated publicly that the State Department repeatedly told the CIA to stand down rather than rescue Ambassador Stevens and others.
Though we may never know the truth about Benghazi, one thing is for certain: to Hillary Clinton, it wasn’t that big of a deal.

BOMBSHELL: Hillary Issues Sick Benghazi Announcement, She’s Disgusting
November 23, 2017 Jeff Charles
Hillary Clinton continues to defend her role in the disaster that occurred in Benghazi, Libya.
https://www.christiannewsalerts.com/hillary-sick-benghazi-announcement/?
In an interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show, she discussed her book entitled “What Happened.” During the interview, she states that she does not believe that her leaving the State Department on the night of the attack in Benghazi contributed to the tragedy that claimed the life of a US ambassador.
Conservative radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt spoke with the former Secretary of State earlier this week. When asked whether or not her presence at the State Department on the night of the attack would have affected the outcome, she said,
“I doubt it, Hugh. I doubt it, because that was never the principal charge that the Republicans and others made against me, and those in the administration. So I don’t think that silenced the critics, because there seem to be a calculation that this was an issue that they could make political.”
On September 11, 2012, Islamic extremists attacked an American compound in Benghazi. The attack resulted in the deaths of four people, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. In the months leading up to the attack, Stevens had repeatedly asked for more security measures to be implemented as violence was increasing in the area.
The State Department continually refused to grant Stevens’ request for extra security in the compound. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), who was the head of a congressional investigation into the attacks, said that the State Department “not only failed to honor repeated requests for additional security, but instead actually reduced security in Libya.”
When the attack occurred, the US military was unable to send troops into the area in time to rescue the ambassador and his companions. The deaths of these Americans could have been prevented had the State Department took their requests for security seriously. To make matters worse, the Obama administration was not truthful about the motivation behind the attack.
In the aftermath of the terrorists’ assault, the Obama administration claimed that the attack was a response to an offensive video about Islam on YouTube. They claimed the video enraged the terrorists, who decided to retaliate by attacking the compound.
That was a lie.
Subsequent investigations found that the attack had been planned for months. The attackers were not getting revenge for a video; they were carrying out a carefully-coordinated assault designed to kill the Americans working in the compound. Unfortunately, before the truth about the attack came out, the person who created the video was unfairly blamed for the attack.

It’s not surprising that Clinton is still defending her handling of the situation in Benghazi. It was one of the biggest blemishes on her political career, and it resulted in her resignation as Secretary of State.
The Benghazi disaster is also one of the reasons Clinton did not win the election. Her handling of the fiasco caused Americans to doubt her judgment and competence. The fact that she continues to make excuses for her mistakes likely discouraged voters from supporting her. Benghazi is another reminder that Clinton was not fit for the office of president.

Five years later, the men who died in Benghazi have not gone unavenged.
On Sunday, U.S. forces captured Mustafa al-Imam, a militant believed to be a key figure in Benghazi attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
This morning, President Trump said in a statement:
To the families of these fallen heroes: I want you to know that your loved ones are not forgotten, and they will never be forgotten.
A Sudden Strike
U.S. forces captured al-Imam just before midnight local time Sunday in Misrata, on Libya’s north coast, U.S. officials said. He was taken to a U.S. Navy ship at the Misrata port for transport by military plane to Washington, where he’s expected to arrive within the next two days, one of the officials said.
Once on American soil, al-Imam will face trial in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia as the FBI continues to investigate, the Justice Department said. He faces three criminal charges that were filed in May 2015 but only recently unsealed: killing or conspiring to kill someone during an attack on a federal facility, providing support for terrorists, and using a firearm in connection with a violent crime.
Al-Imam is the second Benghazi suspect to be taken into U.S. custody. His capture comes as the attack’s suspected mastermind — Ahmed Abu Khatallah — is currently on trial in Washington, facing 18 charges related to the deadly violence that began on September 11, 2012, including the murder of an internationally protected person, providing material support to terrorists and destroying U.S. property while causing death.
Justice For The Slain
The Benghazi attacks were a major political scandal for the Obama administration and spurred multiple investigations into failures of security oversight at the highest levels of the State Department. Republican opponents accused then-President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of failing to provide adequate security resources to the special mission compound and then misleading the American public about the nature of the attacks.
A two-year investigation by the House Benghazi committee focused on whether top State Department officials, including Clinton, ignored repeated warnings from on-the-ground personnel that the compound was vulnerable to attack. The House probe into Clinton’s role revealed that she had used a private email server for official business, which became a defining issue in the 2016 presidential campaign.
Hillary Clinton left our soldiers and ambassador to die, blamed the deaths on a YouTube video, and then famously asked: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
The current administration has a different approach. Now, these men may finally begin to be avenged.

EXPLOSIVE ALLEGATIONS! CIA Operators were told to “Stand Down” during attack in Benghazi as 3 urgent requests for military back-up were denied
TREASON ANYONE?
CIA denied help during Benghazi attack
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=345o9eBm6kQ&feature=youtu.be
FOX NEWS has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound.
The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Hillary Clinton has been destroyed with email hacks and document leaks for nearly two months now, and she will be waking up this morning to another one. In an email released Monday regarding Hillary’s Benghazi investigation, there was one specific message that detailed the exact location of Ambassador Chris Stevens. Because this email was sent through the unsecured server, it is highly probable that terrorists intercepted the message.
There were five relevant emails in the cache of Clinton emails that placed Amb. Stevens in harms way:
March 23, 2011: In this email, Clinton’s then-chief of staff Jacob Sullivan wrote to Clinton about the NATO mission in Libya. Sullivan also wrote that someone named Bill was “trying to make sure Chris Stevens gets into E. Libya.”
March 27, 2011: This is an email between two State Department officials that was then forwarded to Clinton. Regarding his location and travel plans, the email said, “The current game plan is for Mr. Stevens to move no later than Wednesday from Malta to Benghazi. He will stage off shore initially for a one day visit during which he will have meetings with TNC interlocutors and get a sense of the situation on the ground. The goal of this one day trip is for him to lay the groundwork for a stay of up to 30 days.”
April 8, 2011: An email among State Department employees that was later forwarded to Clinton said, “Security situation in Benghazi remains quiet. Chris Stevens

Re: ABOUT BENGHAZI
REVEALED: Hillary’s Sick “Nickname” for Benghazi

The release of Hillary Clinton’s new book What Happened, is stirring up a new batch of questions and heartache for the families who lost their loved ones during the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi. Specifically, Pat Smith, mother of US Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, who was killed in the attack, is coming forward and expressing her outrage.
It is no secret that former President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were responsible for not stopping the attack when they had the chance. According to Fox News, during an interview on the topic of her new book, Clinton mentioned the section about Benghazi and said: “But boy, it was turned into a political football. And it was aimed at undermining my credibility, my record, my accomplishments.”
She may as well have said, “Poor, poor me. Look what they did to poor me when Benghazi happened.”
Instead of showing an ounce of remorse for the families that will never see their children, husbands, fathers, brothers, or friends again, she is upset that her credibility took a smudge for something she knowingly did.
Smith spoke out with regard to Clinton’s actions after the death of her son. “I don’t see how it was political in any way—it was Hillary’s baby from day one. She ordered all that stuff, and then she went to bed when [the attack] was going on,” Smith stated to Fox News.
Terrorists attacked Benghazi, and as a result, four Americans were killed. Besides Sean Smith, there were the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.
The State Department — which was led by Clinton at that time — ignored the security concerns that led up to the attack, despite the concerns brought to their attention several times. Ambassador Stevens specifically asked for more troops because of the fear of an incoming attack from jihadis.
Instead of acknowledging what he was saying and sending help to ensure that everyone made it out alive, Clinton went to sleep without doing anything when the attacks started. Now, the United States has four fewer heroes in it, and Clinton is upset over the damage to her reputation.
After the attacks played out, the Accountability Review Board concluded, beyond any reasonable doubt, that there were problems in the State Department that made its leadership culpable. The Board said there were “Systematic failures and leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels” at the State Department.
To Hillary, Benghazi was a political football, aimed at undermining her credibility, record, and accomplishments. Was that all it was?
Was Benghazi merely a political football for Hillary?

This already tragic story gets worse. Smith wanted more information about what exactly happened to her son. The State Department — again, led by Clinton — ignored the request and went on as if nothing happened.
Smith concluded by saying, “I am his mother. He was 34 years old, but he was still my baby.” She continued, “I know what the government thinks of me, and I think just that much of the government – it stinks. This is how you get treated by the government, or, at least the way you used to.”
The tremendous loss of the Benghazi families is incomprehensible for those who have lost loved ones in the service of our country, and even then it is compounded by the jaded heart of a political opportunist. Sean Smith’s uncle, Michael Ingmire summarized the situation well, “She was standing, basically before the coffins of Americans, blaming a horrible anti-Islamic video, but she’s just being consistent with her psychosis. The liar, the criminal, the crooked politician—those are the three faces of Hillary.”

The Benghazi terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith was the result of negligence. As details of this story from 2012 continue to emerge, the parents of Woods and Smith have a request.
These parents want to see Hillary Clinton brought to justice over the deaths of their sons, insisting that she should stand trial, according to World Net Daily.
The attack was carried out by a group of Muslim terrorists. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama seemingly knew that the attack was coming, but did nothing to stop it. In fact, they went on to tell the parents that the death of their children was due to an obscure YouTube video, not negligence.
A case was brought on by Larry Klayman from Freedom Watch on behalf of the parents, Patricia Smith and Charles Woods. The basis of the case was that Clinton not only lied about the attack but went on to defame the families of the victims by accusing them of lying.
The charges included “defamation, false light, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Shockingly, the case was dismissed at a lower level, citing the behavior as part of Clinton’s scope of employment, which happened to be secretary of state.
Even with the likely fact that Clinton used her private, unsecured email service to transmit information that eventually led to the deaths of the Americans in Benghazi, Klayman is having to fight for the overturn of the dismissal.
Clinton was previously dismissed on a default judgment by an Obama-appointed judge. The basis for that dismissal was that Clinton was not properly served and therefore could not be brought to court.
Klayman went to Washington in order to fight for Smith and Woods. The parents of the two brave Americans said that the FBI determined that Clinton’s use of the email server was “extremely careless.”
The lawsuit claims that as a result of the carelessness, their children are no longer on this earth. That, if anything, should at least make Clinton want to show remorse for her behavior. Instead, she accused the parents of lying and neglected all responsibility.
The parents also used the grounds that Clinton lied about the cause of the attack. She initially said that a YouTube video showing the Islamic prophet Mohammed getting mocked was what caused the attack. It was later found that this was not the case.
Benghazi parents want to see Hillary Clinton brought to justice over the deaths of their sons. Will they ever see justice?
Will Hillary ever be held accountable for Benghazi deaths?
Yes
No

Klayman laid the groundwork for his argument: “Having used a secret private email server that we now know was used to communicate with Ambassador Christopher Stevens with confidential and classified government information, and which we also now know was likely hacked by hostile adversaries such as Iran, Russia, China and North Korea aligning with terrorist groups, it is clear that Hillary Clinton allegedly negligently and recklessly gave up the classified location of the plaintiffs’ sons…”
One can hope that this is not going to end here. The hunt for the whole truth and eventual conviction of Clinton is, in the eyes of many Americans who see this crime for what it is, a crucial undertaking.
Klayman and many like him are going to continue the fight to get to the bottom of what really happened in Benghazi. At the very least, the parents deserve to hear the truth with their own ears.

Hillary Clinton’s been out promoting her new memoir, “What Happened?,” but she’s still not telling what “really” happened. At a recent book signing at the Union Square Barnes & Noble, Hillary Clinton was asked some rather pressing questions by Laura Loomer, a former reporter with The Rebel Media.
Loomer asked Clinton, “So the American people would like to know, what happened to your 33,000 emails?” Following a trademark Clinton cackle, Loomer asked another one: “What happened in Benghazi?”
At the mention of Benghazi, Clinton averted her eyes and told Loomer to “read the book.”
Add your email address below to receive quality, honest conservative news and analysis every day:
Loomer then asked, “What happened in Haiti?” To this, Hillary said, “I’m so sorry you believe things that are untrue.”
Loomer is best known for being one of the activists who rushed the stage during the performance of Julius Caesar in New York’s Central Park.
Watch below as Loomer asks Hillary the tough questions to her face:
What Happened to Those 33,000 Emails?
While Mrs. Clinton may hope that her private email server will be forgotten, it remains an issue. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the White House press corps that the Justice Department should consider prosecuting former FBI Director James Comey.
Besides leaking classified memos to the press, Sanders also accused Comey of intentionally subverting the FBI’s criminal investigation of Clinton for political reasons, saying:
Anybody that breaks the law, whatever that process is that needs to be followed, should certainly be looked at…If they determine that that’s the course of action to take, then they should certainly do that, but I’m not here to ever direct DOJ in — in the actions that they should take.
For her own part, Clinton places much of the blame for her 2016 loss on Comey and his decision to announce the FBI’s investigation into her private email server.
What Happened in Benghazi?
Ever since a CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya, was attacked on Sept. 11, 2012, conservatives and Republicans have accused the Obama administration of intentionally subverting the official investigation.
Sharyl Attkisson, a former investigative reporter for CBS, accused then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of knowingly lying to the American people and the families of those killed in the terrorist attack in her book “The Smear.” The Obama administration wanted everyone to think that an obscure YouTube video set off the violence, when in fact on-the-ground reports had been warning about the possibility of a terrorist attack for months.
Recently, security contractors who were involved in securing the Benghazi compound came forward with more evidence of negligence and the resulting coverup.
The Obama White House and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton effectively covered their tracks so as to hide their negligence — they have no intention of ever telling the full story. And the last thing Hillary Clinton wants to hear is “What happened in Benghazi?”

As Hillary Clinton promotes the release of her ironically titled book, “What Happened,” Americans are left wondering what happened with the thousands of missing emails that Clinton’s lawyers systematically deleted before investigators could review them. Likewise, Americans may never know what happened when former President Bill Clinton met privately with Attorney General Loretta Lynch just days before the investigation against his wife was suspended.
Most importantly, though, Americans are wondering what happened at Benghazi when four American public servants were left to fight for their lives under the negligent leadership of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. However, the extent of the State Department’s failure is coming into focus. Two security contractors have come forward to detail the security lapses at the Benghazi diplomatic compound, as well as the government’s efforts to keep them silent.
Wholesale Incompetence
Brad Owens and Jerry Torres of Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions appeared on Fox’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and gave a remarkably different account of the Sept. 11, 2012, events than the explanation previously offered by the Barack Obama administration.
On that day, militant Islamists stormed the Benghazi compound and killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, foreign service officer Sean Smith and Navy SEALs Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty.
The men of Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions said the company was denied a bid to provide security at the compound in the spring of 2012. Instead, the mission went to an obscure and untested U.K.-based company called The Blue Mountain Group.
Owens, a former Army intelligence officer who had personally conducted reconnaissance of the Benghazi facility prior to his company’s bid, told Carlson that he was shocked at the State Department’s decision:
Blue Mountain U.K. is a teeny, tiny, little security company registered in Wales that had never had a diplomatic security contract, had never done any high threat contracts anywhere else in the world that we’ve been able to find, much less in high threat areas for the U.S. government. They had a few guys on the ground.
Despite Torres and Owens operating an American company, they were undercut in their bid for the assignment by four percent and lost out to the British competitor.
Owens explained the decision:
In 1990, Congress passed a law that required contracts of this nature to go to the lowest bidder that’s technically acceptable. Now, what that has created is a race to the bottom, is what we call it. So basically, every company tries to cut every corner they can for these contracts.
It was not long before the State Department’s decision came back to haunt them. Blue Mountain ended up outsourcing their security personnel, bringing in unarmed and inexperienced guards to contend with an increasingly hostile environment.
As it became clear that Islamic militants were saturating the Libyan city, Ambassador Stevens sent a diplomatic cable to Washington explaining that the compound was at risk from a “coordinated attack.”
Too little, too late
In what Owens calls an “admission of the mistake of choosing the wrong company,” the State Department asked his company to intervene just days before the impending attack. However, lacking adequate time to set up defenses at Benghazi, the compound was unable to sustain the coordinated assault that came on Sept. 11 and took the lives of four Americans.
Torres, the company CEO and a former Green Beret, called the tragedy “bad decision-making from top to bottom.” He learned of the attack on the compound in the same way as other Americans, by watching the events unfold on television.
Torres was suspicious of the White House claim that the siege began in response to an anti-Islam video:
Coming from a military background, I would expect the administration to tell the truth. So I bought into it for a minute. But I didn’t believe it in the back of my mind.
The cover up
Before long, State Department contracting officer Jan Visintainer summoned Torres to Rosslyn, Virginia, for a debriefing. Torres described the encounter as a gag order:
[Visintainer] said that I and people from Torres should not speak to the media, should not speak to any officials with respect to the Benghazi program.
Visintainer even pressed Torres to tell the media that guards should not be armed at U.S. embassies. The former special forces operator described the exchange, admitting that Visintainer told him:
In her opinion, that guards should not be armed at U.S. embassies. She just made that blanket statement. … And she said that they weren’t required in Benghazi. So I was kind of confused about that. And she said that she would like my support in saying that if that came up. And I looked at her. I just didn’t respond.
Torres and Owens were both conflicted about coming forward with their story since they did not want to endanger the prosperity of some 8,000 employees that depend on the company’s survival.
Unfortunately, the pair believes that they are facing repercussions for their reluctance to echo the State Department position. The security firm has since lost out on 18 of their last 20 bids for security force contracts.
Who’s really at fault?
Meanwhile, those government employees who made the truly costly and negligent mistakes have gone unpunished. Owens says that those “who made the poor choices that actually, I would say, were more responsible for the Benghazi attacks than anyone else, they’re still in the same positions, making security choices for our embassies overseas now.”
Owens says that a “change in management” at the State Department has allowed him and his partner to finally come forward. Torres regrets “not bringing this up earlier,” though the pair is hopeful that their testimonies can fix a broken system.
Torres puts the high cost of incompetence from the Clinton State Department in perspective: “A U.S. ambassador is dead and nobody is held accountable for it. And three guys … all died trying to defend him.”

BREAKING: Trump Receives Urgent Terror Warning

It’s been five years since the terrible Benghazi terrorist attack that left four Americans dead. What’s upsetting is that not only could it have been prevented, but it may happen again.
According to Fox News, two security men from an American security company who tried to assist in preventing the original attack said another Benghazi attack could happen because the same officials who botched the security are still in office. They also said existing contract rules motivate security companies to cut corners.
The two men, Brad Owens and Jerry Torres, work for Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions, a private security contractor based out of the US. They insist that their company was pressured to keep quiet about the failed security in Benghazi.
The company has a long history of providing security for US embassies around the world. Working in highly dangerous locales like Africa, the Middle East, and South America. This company knows what it takes to provide accurate and well-executed security measures to keep American diplomats safe and protect lives.
Owens is a former Army Intelligence Officer and has experience in Libya from his work for the company in 2012 as point man. He said the attack on Benghazi was a result of the death of Muammar Qaddafi, the Libyan dictator who was overthrown and murdered in the streets in 2011. The death led to destabilization in the area where terrorist organizations like al Queda began to thrive and obtain power.
His company applied to provide security for the embassy but were beat out by a smaller less experienced company, The Blue Mountain Group, based out of the UK, because they were cheaper.
When the attack occurred, the hired security company proved incapable of doing their job in the face of a “coordinated attack” and the Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions company was contacted for assistance.
Owens says their company lacked the necessary time to mount a proper defense to prevent the horrendous attack. “There was nothing we could’ve done about it,” Owens said. “If we’d had a one-month warning… who knows what might’ve happened.”
To their surprise, the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton, who was Secretary of State at the time, blamed the attack on an anti-Islam video and subsequent protest, claiming they didn’t have the warnings or the time to properly secure the embassy.
Even worse, Torres claims he was called in by the State Department contracting officer, Jan Visintainer, and told to keep quiet about it. “[Visintainer] said that I and people from Torres should not speak to the media, should not speak to any officials with respect to the Benghazi program,” Torres said.
Some of the same Benghazi security officials are still serving. Does this make you fear for Trump’s safety?

The two men couldn’t keep quiet any longer as those individuals responsible for the improper security are still in office. Owens says those responsible for the lack of security at Benghazi, “who made the poor choices that actually, I would say, were more responsible for the Benghazi attacks than anyone else, they’re still in the same positions, making security choices for our embassies overseas now.”
He also blamed the lack of security on a law meant to cut costs by accepting the lowest bidder on contracts. “In 1990, Congress passed a law that required contracts of this nature to go to the lowest bidder that’s technically acceptable. Now, what that has created is a race to the bottom, is what we call it. So basically, every company tries to cut every corner they can for these contracts.”
Both men are hopeful that with their insider information on what really happened, and with Trump as president, justice can be done for the families of the four lost and the bureaucrats responsible for the Benghazi tragedy will finally be replaced, so US embassies can be better protected from future attacks.

Re: ABOUT BENGHAZI
Two Security Experts Tell The Truth About What Happened In Benghazi Five Years Ago
http://conservativefighters.com/news/two-security-experts-tell-truth-happened-benghazi-five-years-ago/
Five years have passed since the terrorist attack on the State Department annex in Benghazi, Libya, which left four Americans servicemen dead. While Hillary Clinton starts to promote her new book “What Happened,” many Americans wonder what happened.
Now, security employees of the firm hired to protect the diplomatic compound came forward with what happened, claiming they were “silenced” about security gaps.
Jerry Torres and Brad Owens in an interview with Tucker Carlson said that Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions (TAES) was forced to stay silent about the security issues that resulted in the deaths of the four Americans.
“A U.S. ambassador is dead and nobody is held accountable for it. And three guys … all died trying to defend him,” Green Beret veteran and the firm’s CEO Torres told Carlson.
Brad Owens, a former Army intelligence officer, continued, “Those who made the poor choices that actually, I would say, were more responsible for the Benghazi attacks than anyone else, they’re still in the same positions, making security choices for our embassies overseas now.”
Fox News confirmed that the firm bid on the security contract for the Benghazi diplomatic annex, but it was given to The Blue Mountain Group.
Owens spoke about The Blue Mountain Group’s security resources.
“Blue Mountain U.K. is a teeny, tiny, little security company registered in Wales that had never had a diplomatic security contract, had never done any high threat contracts anywhere else in the world that we’ve been able to find, much less in high threat areas for the U.S. government. They had a few guys on the ground,” he said.
Fox News’s Catherine Herridge cited the problems that led to security failure in her report:
“The Blue Mountain Group hired guards through another company who were not armed.”
Owens said that it was well-known after fall of dictator Moammar Gaddafi the security situation was “deteriorating” and terror groups were flooding Libya.
Yet, the late Ambassador Christopher Stevens’ requests for security enhancements went unheeded.
By Aug. 31, 2012, the State Dept. reportedly asked TAES to intervene. Owens says this is an “admission of the mistake of choosing the wrong company. “absolutely” silenced their testimony about the security failure.
“Visintainer said that I and people from Torres should not speak to the media, should not speak to any officials with respect to the Benghazi program,” Torres stated.
“In 1990, Congress passed a law that required contracts of this nature to go to the lowest bidder that’s technically acceptable,” Owens stated. “Now, what that has created is a race to the bottom, is what we call it. So basically, every company tries to cut every corner they can for these contracts.”
“Let’s just say there’s been a change at management at Department of State,” Owens continued. “I feel now that, given that the politics have been taken out of the Benghazi situation, now that there’s no longer a candidate or anything related to it, a change of administrations, that actually, we have an opportunity here to fix the problems that made it happen.”

Laura Loomer Confronts Hillary Clinton at Book Signing

News Commentary

Hillary Clinton is back on the road for her book tour, and for the price of $2,000 you can get your hands on a VIP ticket to meet the woman who lost the presidency to Donald Trump.
The “platinum VIP ticket” to Clinton’s talks in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal costs a hefty $2,375.95, according to Fox News. And for that money, you get two front-row seats, a photo with Hillary, and a signed book. A $30 value, yours for only $2,375!
Not everyone has to pay money to meet Hillary and get a signed copy of her latest snooze tract, however. A handful of Hillary super fans waited outside the Manhattan Barnes and Noble Tuesday night to meet Hillary and get their books signed. They began lining up at 11 PM last night for a signing that was scheduled at 11 AM today. Oh, and Hillary showed up an hour late, so folks had to wait a total of thirteen hours just to have 10 seconds with the failed presidential candidate.
Among those waiting in line to meet Hillary was Laura Loomer, a conservative journalist who works for The Rebel. She came with a copy of Clinton’s book to get signed – and a line of uncomfortable questions the former First Lady wasn’t expecting.
Below is the transcript of what went down. Get ready, it’s super entertaining:
LAURA LOOMER: Hi, it’s so great to see you.
HILLARY CLINTON: Well it’s great for you to be here.
LOOMER: Thanks for having me.
[Clinton raises head]
CLINTON: Thank you for coming.
LOOMER: Thanks for having me.
[Handshake]
LOOMER: So the American people would really like to know what happened to your 33,000 emails?
[Clinton laughs]
LOOMER: What happened in Benghazi?
CLINTON: Go read the book.
LOOMER: What happened to the millions of dollars that was supposed to go to the people in Haiti?
CLINTON: You know what I’m so sorry you believe things that are untrue.
LOOMER: What happened to Seth Rich?
What happened to your health, Hillary?
[Loomer pushed out of the way]
…
[Loomer runs into Huma Abedin]
LOOMER TO ABEDIN: Huma! It’s so great to see you. I have a question for you. When are you going to divorce your husband (Anthony Weiner) for texting underage girls?
MAN: We’re going to need for you to step out of here.
LOOMER: I need my book. I paid for my book.
MAN: Step out of here. Thank you, ma’am.
LOOMER: Okay.

Hillary Clinton Confronted at 2017 Book Signing! Deleted Emails? Benghazi? Seth Rich? [mirrored]
Mirrored copy (excerpt from 7:13 to end) of video entitled "Laura Loomer sneaks into Hillary book signing, asks her about emails, Haiti money and Seth Rich!" posted on the McSimonus channel on YouTube.
Hillary may have told Loomer to “read the book” when questioned about Benghazi, but all you’ll find in actually reading the book is how upset she was that people were using that screw-up to criticize her.
Clearly there’s some bad blood – as one of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks, Kris Paronto, blasted her on the 5th anniversary of the attack.
Interestingly enough, Hillary doesn’t blame the Benghazi attack on a fake YouTube video once in the book. I guess that’s progress, kind of.

ALERT: Judge Gives Hillary Horrible News
September 12, 2017 Adam Selene
https://www.christiannewsalerts.com/judge-gives-hillary-horrible-news/?utm_medium=push&utm_source=AP&utm_campaign=onesignal
Legal difficulties appear to follow Hillary Clinton wherever she goes.
A Maryland judge has ordered the state bar to launch a new investigation into the three lawyers that helped former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delete emails before the investigation into her private email server, according to The Washington Times.
Cheryl Mills, David E. Kendall, and Heather Samuelson will all be investigated for destroying evidence related to an FBI investigation. Judge Paul F. Harris Jr. says that accusations leveled against the three lawyers were too egregious to dismiss, and must be investigated further. According to the judge, it is the state bar’s obligation to handle investigations — regardless of who lodged the complaint.
Hillary Clinton was accused of violating State Department protocol and mishandling classified information for maintaining a private server in her New York home. She used the private server to conduct official State Department business. Many of Clinton’s aides also used email addresses associated with the private server.
The private server was discovered during the course of a congressional investigation into the Clinton State Department’s handling of the Benghazi Embassy attack in 2012. Clinton was ordered to turn over all work-related emails. She was permitted to delete any private communications.
However, according to a complaint, Hillary Clinton’s legal team was overzealous, and deleted work-related emails in addition to private emails. Tom Fitton, president of the government watchdog Judicial Watch, claims that Hillary Clinton failed to turn over at least 432 work-related emails to the proper authorities. Now, Clinton’s legal team is being accused of destroying evidence.
Judge Harris Jr. announced his decision on Sunday. The following day, Hillary Clinton announced the release of her new book, What Happened, along with a month-long book tour to promote the memoir.
Lawyer Ty Clevenger, who has been pursuing sanctions against Hillary Clinton’s legal teams, is calling for her attorneys to be suspended or disbarred. Judges in Arkansas and The District of Columbia have dismissed earlier attempts by Clevenger to investigate the lawyers who deleted emails on Clinton’s behalf.
Clevenger recently attracted headlines after appearing on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight. While appearing on the nightly news show, he accused the FBI of denying his recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for political reasons.
Clevenger, who is researching a book on Judicial corruption, was hoping to use the Clinton email investigation as a case study.
According to Clevenger, the FBI denied his request for information relating to the Hillary Clinton email investigation because the “public doesn’t care,” The Daily Caller reports.
The lawyer believes that the FBI denied his request in an attempt to cover their tracks. “Former FBI director James Comey had already decided to exonerate Mrs. Clinton,” Clevenger explained. “The FBI is trying to cover its own rear end. I think they know this thing is going to look terrible for them. They deep-sixed this, they white-washed it and they don’t want the documents coming out just showing how badly they covered it up.”
The Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission originally decided to block Clevenger’s request, claiming an investigation was “frivolous.” However, Judge Harris rejected the commission’s decision, claiming that the term “frivolous” has never been used to justify a decision. “I just think this is a rather easy decision at this point,” Judge Harris said. “The court is ordering bar counsel to investigate.”

Huma Abedin Is In BIG Trouble After Judge Uncovers What She Covered From Americans About Benghazi
http://conservativefighters.com/news/huma-abedin-big-trouble-judge-uncovers-covered-americans-benghazi/
A federal judge ordered the State Department on Tuesday to resume its search for emails and other records related to the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in which four Americans died.
D.C. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ruled that the agency has not fulfilled its duty in properly searching for all relevant documents related to the attack in which U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans lost their lives.
Documents may include additional communication between Hillary Clinton, who was secretary of state at the time, and her staff.
“The court finds that State’s search was inadequate insofar as it did not search the official state.gov e-mail accounts of Secretary Clinton’s three aides, and orders State to conduct a supplemental search of those accounts,” according to the ruling.
The aides include Huma Abedin, former deputy chief of staff; Cheryl Mills, former chief of staff; and Jacob Sullivan, former director of policy planning.
The judge said while the State Department likely won’t be able to “adequately” produce emails sent from Clinton’s private email server while she served at the time as secretary of state, the agency “has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records.”
Mehta also expressed doubt that a more thorough search of Clinton’s and top aides’ official State Department emails on the attack would “produce any marginal return” but required it regardless.
Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, said the ruling is another victory in its efforts to obtain access to thousands of records related to the incident through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Hillary’s top aid’s emails were never searched in regards to Benghazi, which means Abedin lied in 2015 when she testified behind closed doors in the Benghazi hearings.
“This major court ruling may finally result in more answers about the Benghazi scandal – and Hillary Clinton’s involvement in it – as we approach the attack’s fifth anniversary,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is remarkable that we had to battle both the Obama and Trump administrations to break through the State Department’s Benghazi stonewall. Why are Secretary Tillerson and Attorney General Sessions wasting taxpayer dollars protecting Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration?”
Judicial Watch asked a federal court to compel the Trump State Department to undertake a thorough search of all emails of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding the terrorist attack on Benghazi, including those of Clinton’s closest advisors. Judicial Watch also specifically asked the court to compel the agency to produce all records of communications between Clinton and top aide Jake Sullivan relating to Ambassador Susan Rice’s appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” the Sunday following the 2012 Benghazi massacre.
Judicial Watch first submitted a FOIA request shortly after news broke that Clinton had used an unofficial email server while serving as the head of the State Department in March 2015.
The group then filed suit against the agency two months later, after the State Department failed to respond to its request.
The State Department has until Sept. 22 to update the court on its additional search.

Federal Judge Amit Mehta Orders New Search For Clinton Benghazi Emails

A federal judge has ordered a search of the accounts of several Hillary Clinton aides, saying the State Department hadn’t done enough to try and track down emails sent pertaining to the Benghazi terrorist attack in 2012.
US District Court Judge Amit Mehta ordered the department to conduct a search of the accounts for three top aides, Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan.
The State Department never “searched the one records system over which it has always had control and that is almost certain to contain some responsive records,” Mehta wrote in the opinion.
He is referring to in-house emails sent and received via Hillary and her aides’ state.gov accounts.

Nine months after the presidential election was decided, a federal judge is ordering the State Department to try again to find emails Hillary Clinton wrote about the Benghazi attack.
U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ruled that the State Department had not done enough to try to track down messages Clinton may have sent about the assault on the U.S. diplomatic compound on Sept. 11, 2012 — an attack that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
…
In all, State found 348 Benghazi-related messages or documents that were sent to or from Clinton in a period of nearly five months after the attack.
However, the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch argued that the search wasn’t good enough because State never tried to search its own systems for relevant messages in the official email accounts of Clinton’s top aides.
The judge agreed, saying the State Department has “an obligation to search its own server for responsive records,” he wrote.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton issued a statement indicating he was pleased with the ruling.

Mehta was appointed to his seat by President Barack Obama in 2014.

House Republicans’ Report Sheds New Light on Benghazi Attack

House Republicans Release Long-Awaited Benghazi Report 2:26
A long-awaited report on the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi details an array of bureaucratic miscues and inter-agency blunders but does not specifically blame former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for events that led to the deaths of four Americans.
The 800-page document represents the end of a costly, politically charged investigation led by House Republicans who sought to understand how the attack unfolded, and how the Obama administration — including Clinton — responded. Democrats accused Republicans of using the inquiry to hurt Clinton's chances at the presidency. But after more than two years and an estimated $7 million, the report, released Tuesday, instead paints a more nuanced portrait of incompetence.
Related: Five Takeaways From Clinton's Benghazi Testimony
It details a misunderstanding of America's allies, a mistaken belief that fighting had subsided and breakdowns that delayed the military's attempts to save Americans from the diplomatic compound — including the inability to decide whether Marines should wear their uniforms.
The report also offers new details about why U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, one of the casualties, was at the compound in the Libyan city with only two State Department bodyguards, months after the British and others had evacuated the area.
NBC News obtained an exclusive look at the first 175-page section of the full 800-page House Select Committee on Benghazi report before the full report was released later Tuesday morning. The Democratic minority released its own report Monday.
Related: Six Takeaways from Benghazi Report
Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy, a South Carolina Republican, said in a news conference on Tuesday that the report did not focus on Clinton, but sought a true and complete accounting of the events that led to the four Americans' deaths, and the government's response. He stressed a gaping disconnect between what was happening on the ground in Benghazi and what was happening in Washington.
But other Republican committee members criticized Clinton more directly, accusing her of prioritizing America's relationship with Libya over security at the Benghazi compound, and of trying to spin the attack for political gain. Members Jim Jordan of Ohio and and Mike Pompeo of Kansas wrote their own report, labeled "additional views," focusing on Clinton, accusing her of missing opportunities to protect American lives.
In that sense, the committee’s findings could underscore accusations that the Obama administration — and Clinton’s State Department — were more concerned with public perception than with acting decisively to save American lives.

Clinton makes statement on Benghazi report 2:25
Clinton, speaking at a campaign stop in Denver on Tuesday, said the Benghazi committee's investigations into the attacks and subsequent report "took on a partisan tinge."
"I said this when I testified for 11 hours, that no one has thought more about or lost more sleep over the lives that we lost, the four Americans, which was devastating," she said. "And we owe it, we owe it to those brave Americans to make sure that we learn the right lessons from this tragedy."
"I’ll leave it to others to characterize the report but I think it’s pretty clear it’s time to move on," she said.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest on Tuesday called the Republican-led efforts "political fantasizing."
Public skepticism of Clinton’s trustworthiness continues to dog her presidential campaign, even as she leads Donald Trump overall in national polling. In a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released this week, only a quarter of voters judged her to be more honest and straightforward than her GOP rival, while 41 percent favored Trump on questions of trust.

One section of the report seems to allege that U.S. officials fundamentally misunderstood who their allies were at the time.
The Republican majority’s report found that 35 Americans were saved not by a “quasi-governmental militia” as previous reports concluded, or even a group the U.S. saw as allies. Instead, the report determines that the Americans were saved by the “Libyan Military Intelligence,” a group composed of military officers under the Moammar Khaddafy regime, the Libyan dictator who the U.S. helped topple just one year earlier.
The February 17 Martyr Brigade, “recommended by the Libyan Government and contractually obligated to provide security to the Mission Compound,” had fled, the report found. “In other words, some of the very individuals the United States helped remove from power during the Libyan revolution were the only Libyans that came to the assistance of the United States on the night of the Benghazi attacks,” the report states.

Last fall, Clinton testified before the Benghazi committee that Stevens had originally chosen to serve in Benghazi because “he understood America had to be represented there at that pivotal time." A previous report investigating the attacks did not specify the month Clinton was looking to travel to Libya.
The Republican majority of the committee also found that Stevens traveled to the U.S. mission that week to both fill a temporary staffing gap and to spearhead an effort to make Benghazi a permanent diplomatic post.

Witnesses told the committee Stevens was laying the groundwork for a visit by Clinton just one month later — in October 2012 — and “the hope was to establish a permanent consulate in Benghazi for the Secretary to present to the Libyan government during her trip.”
Discussions were already underway in Washington for how to fund the upgrades, and one month before the end of the fiscal year there was pressure to assemble a package before available funds were lost. The State Department points out that Clinton’s trip had been previously discussed by foreign service officer and former deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, during his May 2013 public testimony before the House Oversight and Government reform Committee.

The report highlights the military’s failure to carry out Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s order to deploy forces to Benghazi and the lengthy delay that prevented the military assets from arriving at the embassy in Tripoli until 2 p.m. the day after the Benghazi attack.
“What was disturbing from the evidence the Committee found was that at the time of the final lethal attack at the Annex, no asset ordered deployed by the Secretary had even left the ground,” the report states.
Previous accounts blamed the “tyranny of time and distance” plus the failure to have airplanes ready for the significant delay in moving military assets. But the report states conflicting orders from State Department and Pentagon officials over whether Marines should wear military uniforms or civilian attire also played a role.

The State Department argues their agency did not cause any delay.
"We received diplomatic clearance, as is standard, to send a flight into Tripoli to evacuate our personnel. The process of gaining clearance did not delay or cancel any asset going to Libya," said State Department Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner. "Concerns about what they wore had no bearing on the timing of their arrival.”
In a newly revealed two-hour secure video conference on the night of the attacks led by White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough and attended by Clinton and others, State Department officials raised concerns about the diplomatic sensitivities of the attire to be worn by assets launched.

In an interview with the Committee, Patrick Kennedy, the under secretary or Management at State, described the department’s sensitivity as wanting to “make sure that the steps we were taking would enhance the security of our personnel, not potentially diminish the security of our personnel.”
According to one commander, the report states, as forces prepared to deploy, “during the course of three hours, he and his Marines changed in and out of their uniforms four times.”
Further, several witnesses told the committee that despite Panetta’s orders, the operating plan was not to insert any asset into Benghazi. “Their understanding was that the assets needed to be sent to Tripoli to augment security at the Embassy, and that the State Department was working to move the State Department personnel from Benghazi to Tripoli.”
Republicans on the committee were critical of high-level officials in Washington for mistakenly thinking that the attacks were over and the crisis had passed by the time the emergency video conference convened, which the report alleges contributed to the confusion.
The report also finds that then-Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral James Winnefeld, did not participate in the secure call because “he had left to return to his residence to host a dinner party for foreign dignitaries.” He received one update during the dinner on the attacks.

The section of the report devoted to the Benghazi assault concludes “the response to the attacks suffered from confusion and miscommunication circulating between agencies.”
Pentagon officials on Tuesday told NBC News that "the department was fully responsive to the committee's investigation, as it has been with numerous previous investigations of the tragedy". The Department of Defense underscored that the timeline of the Benghazi attacks has also long been public as well as military efforts to safely evacuate the Embassy in Tripoli.
"Even though, as the select committee’s chairman has previously acknowledged, it was impossible for the U.S. military to have changed the outcome at Benghazi under the circumstances, the department has made substantial changes to improve our responsiveness based on lessons learned from this incident,"Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Gordon Trowbridge told NBC News.
A total of 107 witnesses were interviewed for the report, including 81 never before questioned by Congress and 9 eyewitnesses to the attacks, Republicans on the committee told NBC News. The committee also received and reviewed more than 75,000 new pages of documents.

Democrats on the House Select Committee on Benghazi had a sharply different view even before seeing the Republicans’ report. The minority version released Monday concludes that "the U.S. military could not have done anything differently on the night of the attacks that would have saved the lives of the four brave Americans killed in Benghazi."
Ranking Member Elijah Cummings early Tuesday called the Republican report "partisan" but could offer no additional comment because "we haven't read it because Republicans didn't want us to check it against the evidence we obtained."
Democrats also attacked Republicans over the committee’s process, including what they describe as “grave abuses,” such as excluding Democrats from interviews, concealing exculpatory evidence, withholding interview transcripts, leaking inaccurate information, issuing unilateral subpoenas, sending armed Marshals to the home of a cooperative witness, and even conducting political fundraising “by exploiting the deaths of four Americans.”

The Democrats chastised committee chairman Trey Gowdy ,who they said “personally and publicly accused Secretary Clinton of compromising a highly classified intelligence source."
Democrats did acknowledge, as had been previously determined, that "security measures in Benghazi were woefully inadequate as a result of decisions made by officials in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.” But their report concluded, “Secretary Clinton never personally denied any requests for additional security in Benghazi.”
Reacting to the GOP report early Tuesday, Toner, the State Department deputy spokesman, said: "We have made great progress towards making our posts safer since 2012. We have been working to respond to the extensive findings and recommendations of the independent Accountability Review Board, closing out 26 out of its 29 recommendations."

A Select Committee spokesman dismissed the Democrats’ report as “rehashed, partisan talking points” aimed at defending Hillary Clinton.
Appearing on Morning Joe on Tuesday, Gowdy dismissed Democrats' charge that the report targeted Clinton for political reasons rather than investigating the reasons for the loss of American lives in the attack.
"They will be shocked when they read the report, if they do bother to read the report," Gowdy said. "It is a series of heroic acts by our fellow Americans and what we can do to prevent the next [attack.]"
"Yes, Hillary Clinton was secretary of state at the time," he added. "I can't get around that fact, but the focus of this report is on exactly what the families asked us to focus on."
A senior White House officials told NBC News on Tuesday that the report released by the Republican majority on the committee "has been a right-wing conspiracy theory for years now — and has been debunked several times over, including by Republican reports and investigations."

It’s Now Clear The Stunning Negligence That Led Up To Chris Stevens’ Death In Benghazi

Two smoking guns hit the news streams this week: The U.S. indeed had a gun-running program pipelining Libyan weapons to Syrian rebels through a port in Benghazi; and at least some “intelligence” on action in Libya passed through not one, but at least two of Hillary Clinton’s “homebrew” email addresses.
It’s Clinton’s reliance on her civilian email servers for seemingly classified communications (indeed, all Department of State communications), coupled with the real nature of the mission in Benghazi, that lay bare the negligence leading up to the attack that took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens and two former Navy SEALs.
In the November following the attack, The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. mission in Benghazi was “at its heart, a CIA operation.” It turns out the CIA Annex that had its cover blown during the attack was more than likely the central hub of an international gun running operation.
A source told Fox News two weeks after the attack that Stevens was in Benghazi meeting a Turkish diplomat to “negotiate a weapons transfer, in an effort to get SA-7 missiles out of the hands of violent extremists.” One hour after Stevens showed him the door, local Libyan guards “abandoned their posts” and the assault began.

We know that Moammar Gadhafi’s stockpile of SA-7 man-portable surface-to-air missiles concerned Western intelligence agencies, so much so that they quickly set up programs to locate and supposedly destroy these weapons in Libya. We also know that these weapons had, since Gadhafi’s fall, appeared in Mali in the hands of members of al-Qaida in the Islamic Meghreb through somewhat shady weapons deals.
So the alleged purpose of the CIA Annex was to rob extremist Peter of his heavy weapons and deliver the weapons to Syrian rebel Paul, putting the agency in direct competition with the same militia that attacked the consulate.
Perhaps coincidentally, some of the concern about the SA-7 market came through in emails to Clinton from Sidney Blumenthal. We already know how easily hackers scooped his information.
What we don’t know is to what degree Clinton discussed the Benghazi mission’s plans over unsecured lines on her private email. The lead of Michael Schmidt’s report in The New York Times says Clinton “exclusively used a personal email account to conduct government business as secretary of state.”
That would certainly indicate there might be some exposure.
Of course, the State Department’s email is not without its holes. Neither is the White House’s network. Nevertheless, Clinton, unlike Colin Powell, who used civilian email for minor “housekeeping,” clearly peddled the type of intelligence that she herself deemed actionable.
“FYI,” she writes to Jake Sullivan, her well regarded deputy chief of staff, on a forwarded Blumenthal memo, “The idea of using private security contractors to arm the opposition should be considered.”
The importance of talking government talk over government lines is accountability. No one knows if Clinton’s emails were hacked, and no one knows exactly what information she passed over that server.
Just as a source at the State Department told me following the attack, “We need to look real hard at who knew Stevens was going to be there [at that mission in Benghazi].”
Without a detailed, unadulterated analysis of Clinton’s email server, we have no idea what kind of information was compromised.
Christopher Budd, a 10-year veteran at Microsoft Security Response Center who now works at Trend Micro, wrote of Clinton’s email use that “You can liken this to the CFO of Chase taking billions of dollars in cash home and storing it in the mattress. It’s so inadequate to meeting the risks that it would be laughable if it weren’t so serious.”
And finally, an editor at Red State about summed it up when he tweeted, “Don’t worry, despite Hillary Clinton’s grossly negligent email security practices, nobody’d actually try to hack us,” dropping a link to news of the President Barack Obama’s compromised email over unclassified networks.
The difference is that federal techies can forensically dissect the White House’s hack to at least have some idea who was behind it and what their intentions were (Russia, intentions clear). We can’t even do that with Clinton’s emails.
Perhaps the Justice Department needs reminding that this kind of negligence bracketed the loss of life on Sept. 11, 2012.

Court orders State Dept to release Clinton emails on Benghazi attack
MAY 5, 2017
A Washington DC federal court judge has ordered the State Department to turn over Hillary Clinton’s emails that immediately followed the terrorist attack in Benghazi to the conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch. US District Judge Amy Berman Jackson reviewed the documents and rejected the government’s contention that the records had been properly withheld under FOIA exemption.
The “Defendant contends that it properly withheld eight identical paragraphs in two different emails, which were summaries of calls between the President of the United States and the Presidents of Libya and Egypt in the aftermath of the Benghazi attack,” wrote Judge Jackson in her memorandum opinion on March 20. The State Department argued the summaries were meant to provide information to senior officials to be used in their decision making on how to respond to a national security crisis.

Bowe Abdullah Bergdahl To Be Charged with Desertion, Declared Himself a “Warrior for Islam”

When Obama announced the trade of an AWOL soldier who deserted to join the jihad for five senior Taliban leaders, I called for a emergency hearings. The President is unfit. The Obama administration traded a jihad-joining deserter for the Taliban Five, five members of senior Taliban leadership, without the consent of Congress (or any patriotic American).

It was treason. The trade, considered the most treacherous in US history, led to an investigation into Berghdal’s desertion. The results of that report were not made public for months. Obama’s media and men have staged a silent coup. Jihad in the White House.

“Bergdahl to be charged with desertion, ex-military intel officer says”
January 27, 2015, FoxNews.com
The Army has decided to charge Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was released by Taliban-aligned militants last year in exchange for five Guantanamo prisoners, with desertion, according to a former military intelligence officer.
Retired Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, who now works at the London Center for Policy Research, told Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” Monday night that he’s learned of the military’s decision from two sources.
“The Army has come to its conclusion, and Bowe Bergdahl … will be charged with desertion,” he said.
Asked for comment on the claim, Army officials denied that any decision had been made. Spokesman Paul Boyce told Fox News on Tuesday that there is “no change” and that it is an “ongoing review at this time.”
Eugene Fidell, Bergdahl’s lawyer, did not comment when reached by Fox News.
But Shaffer said Bergdahl’s attorney has been given a “charge sheet” outlining the section of the military justice code Bergdahl allegedly violated.
“As a corporate entity, the Army has decided that they want to pursue Bergdahl for this violation,” Shaffer said.
Shaffer said there’s a “huge battle” going on inside the Obama administration, as some try to “suppress” this development. “This is shaping up to be a titanic struggle behind the scenes,” he said.
Shaffer said the Army “wants to do the right thing” but the White House “wants this to go away.”
He said: “The White House, because of the political narrative, President Obama cozying up to the parents and because of he, President Obama, releasing the five Taliban … The narrative is what the White House does not want to have come out.”
Bergdahl was held for five years before his release was secured in 2014.
But while the president joined with Bergdahl’s parents in the Rose Garden at the time in celebrating his return home, the prisoner swap swiftly became a matter of severe controversy. Fellow soldiers accused Bergdahl of deserting his post on a base in Afghanistan in 2009. And the trade itself, of his freedom for five Guantanamo prisoners, drew criticism in Congress from lawmakers who said it sent a troubling signal.
On Monday, former diplomat Richard Grenell claimed the administration has “sent the message” that the U.S. will negotiate on such matters. He cited an alleged offer, made around the same time as Bergdahl’s release, by the Qatari government to trade two Americans held in Qatar for an Al Qaeda agent held in a U.S. federal prison. The Obama administration denies there was any deal. Those prisoners were ultimately released over the past two months

Sharyl Attkisson: White House Hiding Photos of Obama on Night of Benghazi Attack
TIM BROWN — DECEMBER 25, 2014
In an interview on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" Tuesday morning, former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson revealed that photos taken by the White House photographer taken the night of the Benghazi attacks have never been turned over.
When asked about questions she wanted to see answered by the Benghazi special committee, she said that she had a new list of questions which she intends on publishing. However, she says that the confliction regarding what Obama did that night still remains and the photos might just give the story… that is unless, as usual, the Obama White House is photoshopping them.
"One of the things my producer and I did early on to try to get clues, because you know they told us so little initially, we requested White House photos taken that night," she explained. "Because if you know how the White House works, a photographer is omnipresent. He would have been there taking photographs in the Situation Room. He would have been taking photographs of the president that night. So we asked for the photos, which in my view, are public information. They are paid for with tax dollars, and they release them when they want them released and they are positive."
Attkisson said that she had requested the photos. However, though she was told by the White House photo office that she would receive the photos by the end of the day, she was then referred to Josh Earnest, who was deputy press secretary at the time, who refused to respond to both her and her producers' phone calls and emails.
"The Photo Office indicated initially– this was probably in October or November of 2012– that we could have the photos at the end of the day, and that never materialized," Attkisson recalled. "They suddenly started referring us a White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest, who is now press secretary. And they said that Josh would have to approve it, and Josh would never return a call or e-mail."
"We tried to maintain communication with him or try to make communication with him over a long period of time, and he wouldn't even answer," she said. "We would go back to the White House press, photographer's office and say, 'You have given us an impossible task. You have told us to talk to someone who will not talk to us. You need to give us another route to follow to try and get these photos.' And they would say no, you have to talk to Josh Earnest."
"So that just went down a dead-end road. I think that is entirely unacceptable, Attkisson added. "The press officers work for the public. They are publicly paid to be responsive to the press and the public. Those White House photos belong to the public, in my view, to the extent that they wouldn't reveal any national secrets. To this day, they remain secret."
"I would just be interested in seeing whatever they show," she concluded.
Attkisson, whose computer had been compromised during her reporting of the Obama scandals and who was targeted by the Obama administration, left CBS claiming that she received pressure because her reporting was overly critical of the Obama administration.
One thing is for sure, the White House has been lying about what took place the night of the Benghazi attacks. Here are just a couple of examples:
The White House didn't fully respond to the emails they were sent from people on the ground in Benghazi claiming they were under attack, but rather pushed the story that the attacks were a spontaneous protest over an anti-Muslim video. Transcripts later revealed that defense officials told Obama it was an attack and the CIA confirmed that there was no protest. We later discovered was produced by a Muslim, not a Coptic Christian, who worked for the Obama DOJ. Additionally, the company that created the Obamacare website was also involved in the creation of the video.
The White House sent a letter to Congress on a Thursday claiming that Barack Obama didn't make a single phone call on the night of the Benghazi attacks. Yet, the following Tuesday, the White House changed its story to claim that Obama made one phone call to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Obama and his administration have been lying to the American people ever since they took office and we've documented that. However, just like my Dad used to tell me, "When you tell a lie, you have to always cover it up with another lie… and then another and another and another, until eventually you don't' even know what the truth is."
I think Barack Hussein Obama has been engaged in so many lies, that he is has become a mentally ill, sociopathic liar and wouldn't know the truth if it walked up and punched him in the face. Perhaps it's time to invoke the 25th Amendment to deal with this guy since Congress can't seem to find the intestinal fortitude to impeach him.
As for the photos, I'm guessing they won't be forthcoming, but even if they are, they will more than likely be as fake as the birth certificate on the White House website.

The ugly truth about Benghazi continues to trickle out. Like this critical email that shows the Pentagon urgently offering help to the unfolding attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. And although it came after the first wave of the attack at the consulate, it occurred before a mortar strike on the CIA annex killed Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty.
As Judicial Watch notes, the email ‘leaves no doubt military assets were offered and ready to go, and awaiting State Department signoff, which did not come.”
In other words, the Pentagon was offering military assets that potentially could have saved the lives of American citizens — if only the State Department had signed off.

Of course, we all remember who was leading the State Department at that time. Everyone’s favorite leading Democrat candidate for president, Hillary Clinton.
Via The Right Scoop:
An email recently obtained by Judicial Watch shows that the Pentagon was demanding Hillary allow them to send help to Benghazi during the 2012 attack. This would completely contradict the claim from Hillary and Leon Panetta that no forces were available and within reach to provide help to the compound that was under siege.
From Fox News:
As the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was unfolding, a high-ranking Pentagon official urgently messaged Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top deputies to offer military help, according to an email obtained by Judicial Watch.
The revelation appears to contradict testimony Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gave lawmakers in 2013, when he said there was no time to get forces to the scene in Libya, where four Americans were killed, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens.
“I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton],” reads the email, from Panetta’s chief of staff Jeremy Bash. “After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.”
Ironically, Hillary Clinton and her minions were concerned with spinning the story instead of gearing up the military forces.
Here’s the email:
benghazi emails
benghazi emails 1
More:
The email was sent out at 7:19 p.m. ET on Sept. 11, 2012, in the early stages of the eight-hour siege that also claimed the lives of Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith and two former Navy SEALs, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, private CIA contractors who raced to the aid of embattled State Department workers.
Although the email came after the first wave of the attack at the consulate, it occurred before a mortar strike on the CIA annex killed Woods and Doherty.
“This leaves no doubt military assets were offered and ready to go, and awaiting State Department signoff, which did not come,” Judicial Watch, a nonprofit government watchdog said in a statement.
Parts of the email from Bash were redacted before release, including details on what military forces were available.
So there it is. Panetta and Hillary LIED to the American public over and over, and the media never pressed them enough to demand answers.
The clincher? This information has been available since a month after the attack. But as Judicial Watch notes:
The Obama administration and Clinton officials hid this compelling Benghazi email for years,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The email makes readily apparent that the military was prepared to launch immediate assistance that could have made a difference, at least at the CIA Annex. The fact that the Obama Administration withheld this email for so long only worsens the scandal of Benghazi.”
Meanwhile, the White House today declared leading GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump disqualified to be president in light of his call for a temporary halt on Muslims entering the United States — at least, “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.” This, in the name of protecting American citizens from a very real terror threat — enemies who have revealed themselves and openly declared the refugee crisis a war tactic.
Now, you tell me who’s actually disqualified to be president?
