Japan has often been lauded as a fortress against Islamic migration in conservative circles, only recently caving from leftist pressure to take in Muslim asylum seekers. However, as soon as they welcomed in their first batch of 27 refugees, Japan found out exactly why they should have stuck with their closed borders.

With the controversy of the “refugee crisis,” rumors of Japan’s isolation towards Muslim migration has surfaced, purporting that the country has virtually no Muslims or mosques. Unfortunately, this is untrue, as Japan is home to around 70,000 to 100,000 Muslims, with 90 percent being foreigners. Although there has already been violent outbursts from the Muslim community, it appears that Japan still hasn’t learned its lesson.

According to the Al Jazeera, Japan rejected 99 percent of refugees in 2015, but caved in to pressure and recently accepted 27 Muslim asylum seekers. Out of over 7,500 applications, they approved only a few. However, their rigorous screening, which puts the West’s speedy methods to shame, still wasn’t enough to protect their citizens.

The Tokyo Reporter confirms that 2 of only 27 Muslim refugees living in Japan have already gang raped, assaulted, and robbed a female citizen. Onder Pinarbasi, 22, and his 16-year-old male friend forced an intoxicated woman into a public restroom near JR Akabane Station, where they brutally assaulted her and stole her belongings.

Pinarbasi has been charged with rape and robbery, but he blames his teen accomplice for the crimes. The 16-year-old admitted to stealing $80 from the woman, but swears, “I did not force myself upon her.” The pair were caught assaulting the 30-something-year-old woman, prompting police to make the arrest.

The suspects arrived last year after applying for refugee status in autumn, telling the Immigration Bureau of Japan that they could never return to Turkey because of “problems that exist between relatives.” Perhaps Japanese officials believed that taking in young refugees would reduce the chances of them assaulting women like they’ve been doing in Europe.

Liberals whine that countries like Japan should take in more refugees, but the results of opening one’s borders to an influx of Muslim asylum seekers always proves detrimental. Only 27 refugees were accepted, yet that “tiny minority” that liberals often excuse has already been proven toxic enough.

To put this percentage into perspective, Germany accepted around 1 million refugees in 2015. That means that, at a rate of 7.4 percent, 74,000 would rape and assault citizens at some point. Germany is expecting the arrival of 3.6 million refugees by the year 2020, which equates to 226,400 potential rapists being introduced to unsuspecting communities.

As leftists often argue, the tiny minority of 7.4 percent is absolutely devastating in such large quantities. These refugees are not simply leaving their beliefs behind and spontaneously converting to Western ideas. They are bringing their misogynistic brutality with them, and our women and children are often the targets.
