White House to Release Earth-Shattering 9/11 Report

The White House is anticipated to soon release a 28-page secret section of the congressional inquiry into the 9/11 attacks which allegedly shows the Saudi government was involved.
The White House is anticipated to soon release a 28-page secret section of the congressional inquiry into the 9/11 attacks which allegedly shows the Saudi government was involved, according to reports Sunday.

The 28-page document which is kept in a secure room in the basement of the Capitol building talks about foreign support for some of the 9/11 hijackers while they were in the US, reports Associated Press.
Former Governor and Senator Bob Graham, who was co-chairman of the bipartisan panel investigating the attacks, says the documents indicate Saudi Arabia aided the terrorists. Others back Graham's assertion, even as the Saudis deny having a role in the attacks.
Graham, a former Democratic senator from Florida, said an administration official told him intelligence officials will make a decision in the coming weeks whether to release the documents, at least partially.
Anonymous US officials first spoke about the classified document last week, revealing that it contains evidence found in the 2002 investigation of the Al Qaeda attack that left thousands murdered in the US. That evidence linked the terrorists with the government of Saudi Arabia.
US authorities discovered the flight certificate of would-be hijacker Ghassan Al-Shrabi in an envelope from the Saudi embassy to Washington during the latter's 2002 arrest in Pakistan, the officials revealed.
Sanders: "Get to the root of Saudi actions"
Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has pressed for the 28-page document to be released.
In an interview with NBC aired Sunday, Sanders said, "I think there's a lot about Saudi Arabia that we don't fully understand. And I want to get to the root cause of it. The root of what Saudi Arabia has done."
He said there is "some evidence - and we will have to ascertain whether it's accurate or not - that money from Saudi Arabia actually funded a 9/11 attack."
The Senator went on to note that Saudi funding "is going all over the world" to support fundamentalist Wahhabi Islam, including to terrorist organizations.
"And I think that the full extent of the role that Saudi Arabia plays in supporting extremism in this world is something that we should explore," he added.

Saudis Warn US of Economic Retaliation Over 9/11 Bill
A bi-partisan bill has been proposed in Congress that would allow victims of terrorist attacks to sue foreign governments that are responsible.

Saudi Arabia has threatened economic retaliation if the U.S. passes pending legislation that would allow victims of terrorist attacks to sue foreign governments that are responsible.

The bipartisan bill, co-sponsored by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-New York, and Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, would permit victims of 9/11 to sue the Saudis and other financial partners of terrorism. The Obama administration is vigorously trying to block the bill.

Saudi Arabia warned it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars of American assets if the bill is passed. Delivering the message personally in Washington, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir told Congress Saudi Arabia would sell $750 billion in treasury securities and other assets before they would be in jeopardy of being frozen by American courts.

Saudi Arabia denied involvement in the 9/11 attacks, however, the official U.S. government report on the attack contains 28 censored pages on the topic of “foreign support for the September 11 hijackers.” Investigators say these pages confirm the Saudi’s role in the 2001 attacks that claimed the lives of close to 3,000 people and injured more than 6,000.

For years, the Saudis have asked for the release of the censored pages, but the Bush administration said disclosure would damage the U.S.’ ability to gather intelligence on terrorists. The Obama administration also refused to release the redacted pages.

Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. Other evidence of Saudi involvement in the terrorist attacks includes information leaked from the censored pages including the documentation of a series of phone calls between one of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego and the Saudi Embassy, and the transfer of $130,000 from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to one of the hijacker’s handlers in San Diego.

Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called “20th hijacker,” who was sent to prison for his role in the attacks said members of the Saudi royal family donated funds to al-Qaeda. He also said he personally met a Saudi diplomat in Washington to plot the assassination of the U.S. president using a surface-to air missile. The two discussed bombing the U.S. Embassy in London as well.

"The Saudis have known what they did in 9/11, and they knew that we knew what they did, at least at the highest levels of the U.S. government," said former Sen. Bob Graham, co-chair of the 9/11 congressional inquiry commission.

Families tried in the past to sue the Saudi government, but the cases were rejected due to a 1976 law granting foreign nations immunity from lawsuits in the American judicial system.

"I think part of the concern is that somehow this is a thumb in the eye to Saudi Arabia, a valuable ally," said Senate-sponsor Cornyn. "It's not open-ended and it's not targeted at Saudi Arabia."

Cornyn also dismissed the threats from Saudi Arabia. "It's seems overly defensive to me and I doubt they can do it," he said. "I don't think we should let foreign countries dictate the domestic policy of the United States."

Other analysts say it is unlikely the Saudis will follow through on their threats.

All of the presidential candidates support the bill, expect John Kasich, who has not commented on it to date.

US Covered up the Saudis’ Role in 9/11 Muslim Attacks

Every road in the 9/11 investigation leads back to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, as well as the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles.

The Saudis. They are not our ally. They have spread jihad by the Quran and the sword and the plane. They finance 80% of the mosques in US. And now this. Release these 28 pages. George Bush has a lot to answer for. We have long wondered why Bush’s FBI evacuated dozens of Saudi officials from multiple cities. And what about that family in Florida? The whole thing stinks.

There is a seditious pattern of covering up the role of Saudi Arabia in 9/11 by all of the agencies of the federal government which have access to information that would expose Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11. When are we going to start talking straight about Muslim allies and their true allegiances?

Secret 28 Pages of 9/11 Report Under New Scrutiny

Senator Bob Graham told “60 Minutes” in an interview, “I think it is implausible to believe that 19 people, most of whom didn’t speak English, most of whom had never been in the United States before, many of whom didn’t have a high school education — could’ve carried out such a complicated task without some support from within the United States.”

Saudi Arabia is threatening to sell off $750 billion in U.S. assets if Congress passes legislation allowing them to be sued for the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The move could destabilize the U.S. dollar.

Some are calling the threat economic blackmail by the Saudis to hide their alleged role of financiers of the worst terrorist attack on U.S soil. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens.

Economic blackmail.

“How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11.” By Paul Sperry, NY Post, April 17, 2016:

In its report on the still-censored “28 pages” implicating the Saudi government in 9/11, “60 Minutes” last weekend said the Saudi role in the attacks has been “soft-pedaled” to protect America’s delicate alliance with the oil-rich kingdom.

That’s quite an understatement.

Actually, the kingdom’s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement. Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.

Case agents I’ve interviewed at the Joint Terrorism Task Forces in Washington and San Diego, the forward operating base for some of the Saudi hijackers, as well as detectives at the Fairfax County (Va.) Police Department who also investigated several 9/11 leads, say virtually every road led back to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, as well as the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles.

Yet time and time again, they were called off from pursuing leads. A common excuse was “diplomatic immunity.”

Those sources say the pages missing from the 9/11 congressional inquiry report — which comprise the entire final chapter dealing with “foreign support for the September 11 hijackers” — details “incontrovertible evidence” gathered from both CIA and FBI case files of official Saudi assistance for at least two of the Saudi hijackers who settled in San Diego.

Some information has leaked from the redacted section, including a flurry of pre-9/11 phone calls between one of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego and the Saudi Embassy, and the transfer of some $130,000 from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to yet another of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego.

An investigator who worked with the JTTF in Washington complained that instead of investigating Bandar, the US government protected him — literally. He said the State Department assigned a security detail to help guard Bandar not only at the embassy, but also at his McLean, Va., mansion.

The source added that the task force wanted to jail a number of embassy employees, “but the embassy complained to the US attorney” and their diplomatic visas were revoked as a compromise.

Former FBI agent John Guandolo, who worked 9/11 and related al Qaeda cases out of the bureau’s Washington field office, says Bandar should have been a key suspect in the 9/11 probe.

“The Saudi ambassador funded two of the 9/11 hijackers through a third party,” Guandolo said. “He should be treated as a terrorist suspect, as should other members of the Saudi elite class who the US government knows are currently funding the global jihad.”

But Bandar held sway over the FBI.

After he met on Sept. 13, 2001, with President Bush in the White House, where the two old family friends shared cigars on the Truman Balcony, the FBI evacuated dozens of Saudi officials from multiple cities, including at least one Osama bin Laden family member on the terror watch list. Instead of interrogating the Saudis, FBI agents acted as security escorts for them, even though it was known at the time that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens.

“The FBI was thwarted from interviewing the Saudis we wanted to interview by the White House,” said former FBI agent Mark Rossini, who was involved in the investigation of al Qaeda and the hijackers. The White House “let them off the hook.”

What’s more, Rossini said the bureau was told no subpoenas could be served to produce evidence tying departing Saudi suspects to 9/11. The FBI, in turn, iced local investigations that led back to the Saudis.

“The FBI covered their ears every time we mentioned the Saudis,” said former Fairfax County Police Lt. Roger Kelly. “It was too political to touch.”

Added Kelly, who headed the National Capital Regional Intelligence Center: “You could investigate the Saudis alone, but the Saudis were ‘hands-off.’ ”

Even Anwar al-Awlaki, the hijackers’ spiritual adviser, escaped our grasp. In 2002, the Saudi-sponsored cleric was detained at JFK on passport fraud charges only to be released into the custody of a “Saudi representative.”

It wasn’t until 2011 that Awlaki was brought to justice — by way of a CIA drone strike.

Strangely, “The 9/11 Commission Report,” which followed the congressional inquiry, never cites the catch-and-release of Awlaki, and it mentions Bandar only in passing, his named buried in footnotes.

Two commission lawyers investigating the Saudi support network for the hijackers complained their boss, executive director Philip Zelikow, blocked them from issuing subpoenas and conducting interviews of Saudi suspects.

9/11 Commission member John Lehman was interested in the hijackers’ connections to Bandar, his wife and the Islamic affairs office at the embassy. But every time he tried to get information on that front, he was stonewalled by the White House.

“They were refusing to declassify anything having to do with Saudi Arabia,” Lehman was quoted as saying in the book, “The Commission.”

Did the US scuttle the investigation into foreign sponsorship of 9/11 to protect Bandar and other Saudi elite?

“Things that should have been done at the time were not done,” said Rep. Walter Jones, the North Carolina Republican who’s introduced a bill demanding Obama release the 28 pages. “I’m trying to give you an answer without being too explicit.”

A Saudi reformer with direct knowledge of embassy involvement is more forthcoming.

“We made an ally of a regime that helped sponsor the attacks,” said Ali al-Ahmed of the Washington-based Institute for Gulf Affairs. “I mean, let’s face it.”
