Disturbing Prophetic Dream: ‘I Saw Many Ministers and Prophets in Hell’
(Charisma Magazine) – While I was recently studying Matthew 7:22-24 and asking God for increased revelation, I had one of the most disturbing prophetic dreams of my life. The Scripture I was studying in Matthew says, “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonderful works in Your name?’ But then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice evil.'” In the prophetic dream, I was taken to hell where I saw all these ministers and individuals who had performed miracles, cast out demons and prophesied. What I was

shown next I will never forget. The Holy Spirit showed me long lines of people behind all of these ministers and individuals. He immediately revealed to me that these were all the people that had received the miracles, prophecies and had been at one time delivered. As I gazed at the people in these lines, He said to me, “Did they not receive miracles, prophecy and deliverance, yet I never knew them?” I woke up from the dream alarmed and startled. I said to the Holy Spirit, “So there are not only people that will perform signs, wonders and miracles who will be sent to hell, but also people who received all these things who will also be in hell. Why?”

expected to persist until the system passed completely, with conditions clearing mid- to late morning from northwest to southeast. A winter storm warning in Cook, Will and Grundy counties expired at 9 a.m. after earlier blizzard warnings were canceled. A lakeshore flood warning for Cook County and Lake and Porter counties in Indiana expired at noon after officials warned people away from lakefront paths because of waves of 12 to 16 feet in Cook County, but high waves were expected to persist into the evening.

The news comes from the Express, which cites NASA sources revealing that the space rock could end up engaged in not one, but a staggering 62 different potential impact trajectories with our planet — each of them waiting to sling the asteroid toward Earth over the next 100 years.

Known as asteroid 2018 LF16, the space rock was last observed by our astronomers on June 16 — notes NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) — who calculated its orbit and its potential to become a threat to our planet. WAR DRUMS: Ukrainian President imposes martial law after face off with Russian ships near Crimea
(RT News) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has imposed martial law after the country’s vessels faced off with Russian ships near Crimea. The measure is expected to last for 60 days and was earlier approved by Ukraine’s Security Council. Martial law is scheduled to be in place from November 26 to January 26. It still requires final approval from Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada. However, the Ukrainian General Staff was already tasked with beginning partial troop mobilization, according to media reports.

The Ukrainian army was put on full combat alert even before the martial law was declared. Rada is expected to vote on the motion later on Monday. The move comes on the back of a standoff between a group of Ukrainian Navy ships, which crossed into Russian territorial sea without authorization, and the Russian border guard vessels. (NZ Herald) – As many as 145 pilot whales have died after a mass stranding in Mason Bay on Stewart Island. A hiker reportedly spotted the whales on Saturday and notified Department of Conservation staff at 10.30pm. There were two pods stranded at the southern end of Mason Bay, approximately 2km apart.

DoC Rakiura operations manager Ren Leppens said half of the whales had already died by the time they were found and due to the condition of the remaining whales and the remote, difficult to access location, the decision was made to euthanize the remainder.

(NY Post) – It really is all relative. A new study revealed that all humans are descendants of the same man and woman who lived 100,000 to 200,000 years ago. Our communal mom and dad got together after a “catastrophic event” almost wiped out the human race, the Daily Mail reported of the study. The researchers studied the DNA of five million animals, including humans, to come to their conclusions.
They also found that every nine out of 10 animals come from the same original creatures. The research showed that humans have very low genetic diversity and variants within the species, similar to many other animals. The report comes out of Rockefeller University and the University of Basel, Switzerland, published in the journal “Human Evolution.”

(The Christian Post) – Scientists have found that a “superheated blast from the skies” destroyed cities near the Dead Sea 3,700 years ago, which biblical analysts are saying echoes the destruction of Sodom. Science News reported that the new findings were revealed at the annual meeting of the American Schools of Oriental Research last week by archaeologist Phillip Silvia of Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The scientists discovered radiocarbon dating and unearthed minerals that instantly crystallized at high temperatures at what used to be cities and farming settlements north of the Dead Sea, suggesting that a massive air-burst, possibly by a meteor, destroyed communities in a 15-mile-wide circular plain. Silva said that following the cataclysmic event, people did not return to the region for 600 to 700 years.

This Is What Happens When the Church Lets Down Its Guard
(Charisma News) – One of the mysteries of history is why, after the Roman Empire accepted Christianity, God allowed the pagan Germanic people to overrun Christian Western Europe 200 years later. The Roman Empire was, of course, not fully Christianized and was suffering from demographic decline and corruption. The empire was also weakened militarily and had shifted to a defensive posture. But the real problem was the church, which had also adopted a defensive posture and was no longer focused on taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.

With the church unable and unwilling to move beyond its borders, God had to do something. So it appears He allowed the barbarians to invade the Empire’s borders to bring them into contact with the church. Amazingly, the pagan Germanic people came to accept Christianity and became the foundation of Christian Europe. Thus, the defeat of the Roman Empire actually led to the expansion of the kingdom of God. In America, we have (so far) been spared from barbarian invasion. However, God is continuing to bring people who may be otherwise unreachable into contact with the church through immigration, student visas and now as refugees from Islamist terror and gang violence.

(CBN News) – Some Central American migrants, mostly men, tried to breach the border crossing between Tijuana, Mexico, and California on Sunday, after pushing past a blockade of Mexican police standing guard near the international border crossing in a bid to pressure the U.S to hear their asylum claims. Mexico’s Milenio TV showed images of at least a few of the hundreds of migrants at the border tried to jump over the fence separating the two countries.

The migrants carried hand-painted American and Honduran flags and chanted: “We are not criminals! We are international workers!” The group mostly consisted of men, although some women pushed small children ahead in strollers. U.S. Border Patrol helicopters flew overhead, while U.S. agents held a vigil on foot beyond the wire fence in California. The Border Patrol office in San Diego said via Twitter that pedestrian crossings have been suspended at the San Ysidro port of entry at both the East and West facilities.

(Sky News) – Ukraine says Russia has opened fire on its ships in the Black Sea and captured three vessels. Two sailors have been wounded after two artillery boats were hit in the strikes, the Ukrainian navy said. Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko has called an emergency session of his war cabinet after a day of rising tensions off the coast of Crimea.
A statement from Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK said Russian special forces had captured three ships in an “act of aggression”. “According to the Ukrainian navy, Russia opened fire at small-sized ‘Berdiansk’ and ‘Nikopol’ armored artillery boats,” the statement said.

The agency is reporting a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles). EMSC is reporting M6.3 at a depth of 10 km. The quake hit one year after devastating M7.3 took lives of over 500 people and left more than 10,000 injured. This earthquake can have a medium
humanitarian impact based on the magnitude and the affected population and their vulnerability. According to the USGS, the epicenter was located 20 km (12 miles) SW of Sarpol-e Z̄ahāb (population 51 611) and 65 km (40 miles) NNE of Mandalī (population 29,785), Iran. There are 1,830,000 people living within 100 km (62 miles). The USGS issued a yellow alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses. The figures, based on a survey of 9,117 children and young people, showed the incidence of disorders rose to one in six for people aged 17 to 19. Boys were found to

be more likely to have a mental health disorder than girls until the age of 11. Between 11 and 16 both sexes were equally likely to have a mental health disorder, but by the time they reached 17 to 19, girls were more than twice as likely to have a disorder. Within this age range, almost one in four girls had a mental disorder, and half of those said they had self-harmed or attempted suicide.

A second victim has surfaced in Hong Kong, with medics unable to verify how the two patients initially became infected. Despite claims that she had not been in contact with any rats, a 70-year-old woman has been confirmed as the second to be diagnosed with the rodent-to-person hepatitis E infection. The South China Morning Post revealed that the woman lived only three kilometers away from the other person

who was diagnosed with the rat disease in September. As a result, authorities have swept the neighborhood for rodents, and control measures have been increased. Hepatitis E – one of the five viruses that can cause hepatitis – can be contracted from contact with feces, by consuming contaminated water or food, or by eating undercooked meat. The woman was infected around May last year – at approximately the same time that patient zero, a 56-year-old man was also infected with the virus.

Hospital placed on red alert after drug-resistant superbug found…sparking fears of outbreak
(The Sun) – Strains of a drug-resistant superbug have been found at a Hereford hospital, health officials have warned. Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase (KPC) is the same bug that contributed to the death of 16 people in Manchester several years ago. It was found again at Worcestershire Royal in June, and although wards have been cleaned, the hospital still may have an infection risk. Twenty-four patients were affected, including one who suffered blood poisoning. The bug was first found on orthopaedics and trauma ward.

The BBC reports that NHS Improvement issued a red warning, meaning there’s still a risk or elevated risk of infection. The red warning was first issued in June, was brought down to amber in August and then raised back up to red again last month. It marks the second outbreak in recent years, after 16 deaths in Manchester were linked to the bug. According to the Manchester Evening News, 1,241 patients were affected at the Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust area between 2009 and 2013.

(Daily Mail) – Another 16 children have contracted the rare polio-like disease, acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) – bringing the total number of confirmed cases this year to 109 across 29 states, the CDC has revealed. Another 167 children are showing tell-tale symptoms of the mysterious illness which has emerged as a major public health threat every other year since 2014. It seems to be caused by a combination of viruses but this year, the third time AFM has surged, the CDC is still struggling to identify exactly how and why it takes hold.

As such, the agency today formed a task force designed to investigate the driving forces and possible treatments of AFM, and to establish what post-AFM life looks like for sufferers. ‘I want to reaffirm to parents, patients, and our Nation CDC’s commitment to this serious medical condition,’ said CDC Director Robert R. Redfield, MD. ‘This Task Force will ensure that the full capacity of the scientific community is engaged and working together to provide important answers and solutions to actively detect, more effectively treat, and ultimately prevent AFM and its consequences.’

More RSV Cases Reported Than Flu Cases Children’s Medical Center
(NBCDFW) – The holiday season is in full swing and that usually means so are the sniffles, coughs, and cold spells but doctors are warning about another virus. Doctors at Cook Children’s Medical Center have a noticed the numbers are low for influenza, but on the rise for patients with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Last week out of 422 patients, 6 were diagnosed with influenza and 122 were diagnosed with RSV, according to Cook Children’s.

With so many families coming together for this Thanksgiving, doctors have some advice. It’s spread through infected fluids in the mouth and nose. “If you have a runny nose or cough and if there’s a baby around, you need to be very careful about not being near them,” said Dr. Justin Smith, a pediatrician at Cook Children’s. “Also people need to wash their hands a lot and don’t kiss babies near the head or face.”

It targets both cancer cells and healthy cells that are tricked into protecting cancer from the immune system. Fibroblasts, the most common type of cell in connective tissues, are vital in the body’s healing process, but they can get hijacked by cancer-associated fibroblasts or CAFs.

These then help tumors grow, spread and evade therapy. The new treatment, a form of immunotherapy developed by Oxford University scientists, attacks carcinomas – the most ­common type of cancer. Currently, any therapy that kills the “tricked” fibroblast cells may also kill healthy fibroblasts throughout the body – for example in the bone marrow and skin – causing illness during treatment.

(The Christian Post) – Four Christian churches in China’s Sichuan province have been given an ultimatum and told they must join the official Communist government network or be shut down. ChinaAid, which monitors the persecution of believers, reported on what it called a “massive crackdown” on unregistered churches in the southwestern province, explaining that the final warnings have recently been sent to the pastors, asking them to make a decision.


“A few churches’ pastors, who I have connections with, already received the government’s final warning, requiring that they should make a decision within two weeks: either join Three-Self Churches or be disbanded,” said one local area Christian, who wasn’t named. (CBN News) – Northern California crews battling the country’s deadliest wildfire in a century were bracing for strong winds, with gusts up to 50 miles per hour, creating the potential to erode gains they have made in containing a disaster that has killed at least 76 and leveled a town. Even as hundreds of searchers sift through the rubble in the town of Paradise looking for the dead, nearly 1,300 people remain unaccounted for more than a week after the fire sparked in Butte County, Sheriff Kory Honea announced Saturday night.

Authorities stressed that the long roster does not mean they believe all those people are missing. Honea pleaded with fire evacuees Saturday to review the list of those reported as unreachable by family and friends and call if they are safe. Deputies have located hundreds of people to date, but the overall number keeps growing because they are adding more names, including those from the disaster’s chaotic early hours, Honea said.

(CNS News) – A report in the Christian Post contends that the number of witches (and Wiccans) has dramatically increased since the 1990s, to the degree that there may be at least 1.5 million witches in the United States, which is higher than the 1.4 million mainline Presbyterians. “[T]he practice of witchcraft has grown significantly in recent decades; those who identify as witches has risen concurrently with the rise of the ‘witch aesthetic,'” reported the Christian Post in October,

citing data from Quartz, a Trinity College study, and the Pew Research Center. Between 1990 and 2008, the number of Wiccans in the United States grew from 8,000 to 340,000, according to three religious surveys conducted by Trinity College in Connecticut. In addition, the Pew Research Center reported in 2014 that 0.4% of the population — 1 to 1.5 million Americans — “identify as Wicca or Pagan.”

(CBN News) – In the middle of a summer storm at sea, heavy winds snapped the moorings of Aldi Adilang’s fishing raft. On that late July night, he was suddenly swept into the Pacific Ocean. Aldi said he was not scared at first because he thought that some boat will see him and rescue him. But after many weeks passed, he began to be fearful and thought, “What if no one sees me?” After a few days, Aldi’s food and water ran out. He survived by catching fish and cooking them by burning wood from his hut.

He sipped seawater through his clothes. Aldi grew more and more desperate as the days went by. “At night, I got very scared because many sharks were circling my raft,” he recalled. “I was afraid I will not see my parents again, my family and friends. (The Christian Post) – The social networking giant Instagram is admitting that it made an error when it removed a Reformed Baptist ministry’s post promoting an op-ed contending that women shouldn’t be pastors and has restored the post in question. Founders Ministries, a Reformed group within the Southern Baptist Convention, posted to its Instagram account on Nov. 7 a screenshot of an article posted to the Founders webpage by Founders board member Tom Hicks titled “Only Men May Be Pastors.”

On Nov. 11, Founders Executive Director Tom Ascol took to Twitter to sound an alarm that the Nov. 7 Instagram post had been removed. Ascol posted a screenshot of the notification received from Instagram informing the ministry why the post had been removed. Instagram’s initial explanation stated that the post did not comply with the platform’s community guidelines on “hate speech or symbols.”

(RT News) – Researchers working to develop laboratory-grown human kidneys were left stunned after observing that the mini organs they were working on started sprouting brain and muscle cells instead of additional kidney cells. The test-tube grown miniature kidneys, or kidney organoids, are made from stem cells that are encouraged to develop into clusters of specific kidney cells. Scientists hope that the process could one day treat people with kidney diseases.

Starting December 1, people can rake in up to 600,000 yuan ($86,000) for reporting illegal content, online or otherwise, double the 300,000 yuan under previous guidelines. What counts as “illegal” content in China is broadly defined, but includes work that “endangers national unity”,

“leaks state secrets”, and “disturbs social order” — umbrella terms that are also sometimes used when authorities punish or silence Chinese dissidents and rights campaigners. The new rules, published by a bureau under the top media regulator, come as Beijing ramps up controls on content. (ABC 7 NY) – At least 71 people are now dead from a Northern California wildfire, and officials say they have a missing person list with over 1,000 names on it in an ever-evolving accounting of the victims of the nation’s deadliest wildfire in a century. The list of the people who are unaccounted for is at 1,011, although officials say some of those numbers could be duplicates.

The high number of missing people probably includes some who fled the blaze and don’t realize they’ve been reported missing, Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea said. He said he’s making the list public so people can see if they are on it and let authorities know they survived.

91,000 pounds of raw turkey recalled amid salmonella outbreak…
(CBS News) – Jennie-O Turkey is recalling more than 91,000 pounds of raw turkey in an ongoing salmonella outbreak. The recall is the first tied to an outbreak the U.S. Department of Agriculture says is widespread and likely affects a number of different producers in the industry. So far this year, the outbreak has resulted in one death and 164 reported illnesses in 35 states.

About half of those sickened had to be hospitalized. Regulators did not say how many of those people were exposed to products sold by Jennie-O, a subsidiary of food industry giant Hormel. They say additional products from other companies could be named as their investigation continues. The products being recalled include one-pound packages of raw, ground turkey and were sold nationwide. They had a use-by date of October, but could still be in freezers. Regulators say the product should be thrown away.

(New York Post) – Kids these days will try just about anything to catch a buzz, from “boofing” beer to vaping vodka. Their latest cheap thrill? Feminine hygiene products. Teenagers in Indonesia are collecting menstrual pads and tampons — often of the used variety — and boiling them, allowing the mixture to cool and then imbibing the resulting liquid. Police have already arrested several minors caught making this menstrual-pad moonshine.
One 14-year-old confessed that he and his buds swig it “morning, afternoon and evening,” the Daily Mail reports. The National Narcotics Agency in Indonesia says it’s the chlorine used to sanitize menstrual products that’s getting kids tipsy, giving them hallucinations and a feeling of “flying.” As it turns out, this has been going on for at least a couple of years, as this phenomenon was first reported by Indonesian authorities back in 2016.

The only colder temperatures were recorded in 1976 and 1886, and both were later in the month. The cold weather also broke daily records on Tuesday and Wednesday. “This shatters the old record low of 28 degrees set back in 1916,” the National Weather Service tweeted of

Wednesday’s weather. Tuesday night just before midnight, the city hit 28 degrees, breaking the previous record of 29 set in 1907, records show. Typically, November temperatures are significantly warmer. The average high for the month is about 71 degrees and the normal low is 51 degrees. San Antonio’s average low this year has been comparable to other years, but its average high, a cool 66.6 degrees, has been lower than normal.

(CBN News) – Seven years ago, police in Philadelphia discovered four developmentally disabled adults locked away in a dark and dirty basement in the Tacony section of the city. Tamara Breeden, 36, and three others were abused by a woman named Linda Westin and two men in a scam to steal their disability checks. One of the victims was reportedly chained to the basement’s boiler, another was forced to live in the cabinets

beneath a kitchen sink. Breeden says she was forced to urinate in a bucket and sleep on a hard board. “She hit me with a pistol like, like a gun pistol,” Breeden said in recent interview with NBC Philadelphia. “She hit me with a bat. She messed my ear up right here,” Breeden said pointing to her left ear. “I kept on praying to Jesus and praying to God, hope I get back home to my family,” she explained.

Caravan Reaches Border as Hundreds Begin Effort to Enter US, Troops and Border Agents Prepared to Block Entrance
(CBN News) – Hundreds of asylum seekers have finished their nearly month-long trek through Central America and are now arriving at the southern border of the United States. Mexican authorities said a group of 357 Central Americans traveling in the caravan arrived in Tijuana Tuesday, and another group of 398 arrived Wednesday. Thousands more are arriving Thursday and in the coming days. Hundreds of them have arrived by bus, flooding the city’s crowded shelters.

Some of them immediately went to a stretch of border fence with the United States to celebrate, scaling the fence chanting, “Yes, we could!” Mexican authorities said they offered to take the migrants to shelters immediately, but they initially refused. Mexico also has offered asylum to them, but many have refused that as well, instead hoping to gain access to the United States. Border Patrol agents with machine guns are guarding the US side of the border. They’re being assisted by 5,800 active duty US troops as well.

(The Christian Post) – A 99-year-old man living in a Communist country where some have no conceptions of the Gospel of any kind has said he wants to follow Jesus, a pastor and missionary revealed. Jordan Standridge, pastor of evangelism at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia, wrote in The Cripplegate website on Tuesday that he met the man in question during a mission trip to a communist country last week, which he didn’t name.

Standridge explained that the trip took him to a remote part of the country, where people were largely isolated from the outside world. “As I entered the first house and sat in the chair to begin, we were told by the father and daughter that they had never spoken to anyone about the Gospel before. The Japan Meteorological Agency continues to keep Sakurajima on an alert Level 3 – which advises residents not to approach the volcano. The volcanic warnings go up to level 5 which means residents must evacuate the area. This is the first time the volcano has flared up since July 16 and is the third such eruption this year. Japan sits on the Pacific “Ring of Fire” with 110 active volcanoes and it monitors 47 of them around the clock.

(ChannelNews Asia) – China’s top cyber authority has scrubbed 9,800 social media accounts of independent news providers deemed to have posted sensational, vulgar or politically harmful content on the Internet, it said late on Monday (Nov 12). China’s strict online censorship rules have tightened in recent years with new legislation to restrict media outlets, surveillance measures for media sites and rolling campaigns to remove content deemed unacceptable.

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said in a statement that the campaign, launched on Oct 20, had erased the accounts for violations that included “spreading politically harmful information, maliciously falsifying (Chinese Communist) party history, slandering heroes and defaming the nation’s image.” CAC also summoned social media giants, including Tencent’s Wechat and Sina-owned Weibo, warning them against failing to prevent “uncivilized growth” and “all kinds of chaos” among independent media on their platforms.

(BBC News) – French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that Europeans cannot be protected without a “true, European army”, as he marks the centenary of the World War One Armistice. On a visit to the former Western Front in Verdun, he said Russia had shown it could be a threat and Europe had to be able “to defend itself better alone”. (Charisma News) – Proponents of hyper-grace teach that the moral law (found in the Ten Commandments) has no relevance in the New Testament church era. This leads to the heresy of Anti-Nomianism (without law), which—as I wrote in Part 1 of this article—eradicates all biblical standards and ethics. Consequently, its proponents can theoretically sin without fear since everything is based on grace, without consideration for the moral law of God. (Some even teach that since Jesus died for all your past, present and future sins, you don’t even need to confess your sins because that is works and not grace—to which I would point them to 1 John 1:9.) Whenever a church only preaches the love and blessings of God in Christ without ever mentioning the need to repent and or the consequences of sin in the life of the believer,

there is a good chance that is a hyper-grace church. One of the worst things many proponents of hyper-grace teach is that the teachings of Jesus as found in the Gospels are not relevant for the church today. They believe that the teachings of the Gospels fall under the Old Testament dispensation since it was before His resurrection. This ridiculous assertion doesn’t take into mind the fact that the epistles were written for the church to apply the life and teachings of Jesus—not to give additional, unconnected revelation. This is why even a cursory study of the epistles of Paul, James, Peter and John show that they reiterate obedience to the Ten Commandments (as a standard for ethics, not for salvation) as well as the words and teachings of Jesus.

Almost 200 people have died since August, officials say, with more than 300 confirmed or probable cases. A vaccination programme has so far inoculated about 25,000 people. DR Congo has suffered long years of instability and efforts to relieve the disease have been hampered by attacks on medical workers.

“At this point, 319 cases and 198 deaths have been registered,” health minister Oly Ilunga said. “In view of these figures, my thoughts and my prayers go to the hundreds of families grieving, to the hundreds of orphans and the families which have been wiped out.” About half the victims were from Beni, a city of 800,000 in the North Kivu region, the national health authority said.

UPDATE: At least 29 confirmed dead in Northern California wildfire
(Fox News) – Six more people were confirmed to have died in connection to the wildfire tearing through Northern California, a sheriff said Sunday evening. The death toll in the northern blaze rose to 29 as a result of the discoveries, which included five bodies located at homes and one that was found in a vehicle, Butte County Sheriff Cory Honea said. More than 200 people remained unaccounted for, he added. The

wildfire is now the deadliest wildfire on record in state history. The Camp Fire, which tore through the town of Paradise, had burned 109,000 acres since it first began on Thursday, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. More than 6,400 residences were destroyed in the fire that stands at 25 percent containment, the agency said. At least 31 people have died statewide due to wildfires that have ravaged both ends of the state.

An Australian AI expert, Toby Walsh, said during the Festival of Dangerous Ideas in Sydney recently that he thinks AI will learn and possibly match human traits like creativity, emotional intelligence and adaptability in less than 50 years. And Walsh — a Scientia Professor of Artificial Intelligence at UNSW Sydney — predicts robots will be as smart as humans by the year 2062.

(USA Today) – The wildfire that devastated the northern California city of Paradise this week already the most destructive in state history in terms of structures burned, and the toll is likely to get even worse. More than 6,700 structures burned to the ground in northern California’s Camp Fire on Thursday and Friday, eclipsing the previous tally from last October’s Tubbs Fire in the wine counties of Napa and

Sonoma, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Authorities have not yet given a tally of structures destroyed by the Hill and Woolsey fires now burning in Ventura and Los Angeles, in Southern California. The fires have killed at least nine people, driven more than 250,000 people from their homes and scorched over 140 square miles. “A whole town was wiped out in 24 hours,” Rocklin Police officer Jon Gee said of the damage in Paradise. “It’s crazy.”

(CBN News) – A Dutch entrepreneur has filed a lawsuit to legally change his age to 49 – that’s 20 years younger than his chronological age. He says it is the same as being transgender. Emile Ratelband, 69, wants to change his birthday from March 11, 1949, to March 1969 “We live in a time when you can change your name and change your gender. Why can’t I decide my own age?” he said. A local court in the Netherlands will rule on the case in four weeks.

Ratelband says he wants to change his age because he feels discriminated against on the dating app, Tinder. “When I’m on Tinder and it says I’m 69, I don’t get an answer. When I’m 49, with the face I have, I will be in a luxurious position,” he told the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad. “When I’m 69, I am limited. If I’m 49, then I can buy a new house, drive a different car. I can take up more work,” he said.

(CBN News) – President Donald Trump on Friday invoked extraordinary national security powers to deny asylum to migrants who enter the country illegally, tightening the border as caravans of Central Americans slowly approach the United States. Trump is using the same powers he used to push through a version of the travel ban that was upheld by the Supreme Court. The proclamation puts into place regulations adopted Thursday that circumvent laws stating that anyone is eligible for asylum no matter how he or she enters the country.

“We need people in our country but they have to come in legally and they have to have merit,” Trump said Friday as he prepared to depart for Paris. The measures are meant to funnel asylum seekers through official border crossings for speedy rulings, officials said, instead of having them try to circumvent such crossings on the nearly 2,000-mile (3,200-kilometer) border. But the busy ports of entry already have long lines and waits, forcing immigration officials to tell some migrants to turn around and come back to make their claims.

SPREADING: Evacuate As Woolsey Fire Jumps 101 Freeway: ‘Headed To The Pacific Ocean’
(CBS Los Angeles) – A fast-spreading brush fire that broke out near Simi Valley Thursday afternoon has jumped to the south side of the 101 Freeway and was threatening Malibu early Friday morning as it tore through Thousand Oaks, prompting authorities to order the evacuation of at least 75,000 homes in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. It’s one of two wildfires burning in the region, the other being the 6,000-acre Hill Fire burning in Newbury Park. No injuries have been reported in either fire.

The Woolsey Fire was zero percent contained as of 9 a.m. Friday and had scorched at least 10,000 acres. Just after 5 a.m., the blaze jumped the southside of the 101 Freeway at Chesebro Road near Calabasas. In response, California Highway Patrol shut down a four-mile stretch of the 101 Freeway from Las Virgenes Road to Kanan Road.

(The Weather Channel) Fast-moving wildfires prompted tens of thousands of evacuations in both Northern and Southern California, including 75,000 in and around Los Angeles, sending residents fleeing for their lives on short notice. The largest inferno, sparked Thursday morning in Northern California, prompted numerous evacuations, including several entire towns. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office told the Associated Press that a mandatory evacuation order was issued for the entire town of Paradise, which is home to about 27,000 people and is north of Sacramento.

“Pretty much the community of Paradise is destroyed, it’s that kind of devastation,” said Cal Fire Capt. Scott McLean late Thursday. “The wind that was predicted came and just wiped it out.” At a Thursday evening news conference, Butte County Cal Fire Chief Darren Read said several hundred buildings, possibly as many as 1,000 or more, were destroyed in Paradise, though they won’t have a more exact number until they survey the damage. UPDATE: California Bar and Grill Killer identified as 28 year-old former marine
(CBN News) – Using a smoke bomb and a handgun, a hooded gunman dressed all in black opened fire during “college night” at a country music bar in Southern California, killing 12 people and sending hundreds fleeing in terror, authorities said Thursday. The gunman then apparently killed himself. Authorities said the motive for the attack Wednesday night was under investigation. The killer was identified as Ian David Long, a 28-year-old former Marine.

Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean said his department had several previous contacts with Long, including a call to his home in April, when deputies found him angry and acting irrationally. The sheriff said a mental health crisis team was called at the time and concluded Long did not need to be taken into custody. Patrons at the bar screamed in fear, shouted “Get down!” and used barstools to smash second-floor windows and jump to safety as gunfire erupted at the Borderline Bar & Grill, a hangout popular with students from nearby California Lutheran University.

(Mirror) – This weekend, three enormous asteroids will make a ‘close approach’ to Earth, NASA has warned. The asteroids – the biggest of which is predicted to measure up to 30 meters across – will whizz past our planet on November 10. At around 14:03 GMT, an asteroid dubbed 2018 VS1 will pass the Earth. This asteroid is predicted to measure between 13-28 meters across – suggesting the asteroid could be five times as tall as a giraffe!

Thankfully, NASA’s trajectory estimates indicate that 2018 VS1 will be around 861,700 miles away from Earth during its closest approach. Just 16 minutes after 2018 VS1 passes our planet, another asteroid dubbed 2018 VR1 will swing by. This asteroid is predicted to measure up to 30 meters wide, but thankfully will pass at a distance of 3.12 million miles from Earth.

(The Christian Post) – Less than two hours after getting married in a “fairytale wedding” on Saturday, a young Christian couple from Texas died after a helicopter they were traveling in crashed into the side of a hill on their family farm. The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed they were investigating a fatal helicopter crash that took place near Uvalde, Texas, at about midnight.
The accident involved a Bell 206B helicopter. William Byler confirmed to Eyewitness News that his grandson Will Byler, his new wife Bailee Ackerman and the aircraft’s pilot, Gerald Green Lawrence all died in the crash at their family ranch. The couple’s passing was first announced on Facebook in a post Sunday night by one of the groom’s friends Michael Montgomery.

State Secretary Mike Pompeo warned of “swift punishment” for other countries doing business with Iran. Monday’s sanctions are a reintroduction of penalties lifted under the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The multilateral deal promised Iran sanctions relief in exchange for a pause on its nuclear weapons program.
President Trump withdrew from the deal in May, and has since reimposed economic sanctions in several rounds. The sanctions target 50 Iranian banks, 200 individuals, and vessels in Iran’s shipping and energy sectors, as well as one airline and 65 of its aircraft. The Solution – Education
She believes that if we can somehow educate all people who follow the Koran, then they will choose a different way of life.  Well, at least she is qualified to believe so as she grew up in an Islamic society and chose to leave.  Is she right?  I hope so.  But, it’s hard to know.

The Soviet Union
There is a clear precedent in the previous century for the nature of what she proposes. One of the key parts in the battle of the Cold War was that the United States pumped western values across the Iron Curtain into the Soviet Union and its satellites.  Whether it was with Reader’s Digest, shortwave radios, or smuggling in other Western values somehow, there is no question that this affected the Soviet Union.  The best proof is from the time that the Iron Curtain fell and the Soviet Union fell apart.  People flocked towards the West and the United States en masse.  In addition, they quickly brought Western values into the former Soviet Union on a massive scale.

So, perhaps one day there will be a major reeducation plan to try to penetrate the closed Islamic societies in some countries.  At the very least, it’s worth a try.

(MSN) Gun-carrying civilian groups and border vigilantes have heard a call to arms in President Trump’s warnings about threats to American security posed by caravans of Central American migrants moving through Mexico. They’re packing coolers and tents, oiling rifles and tuning up aerial drones, with plans to form caravans of their own and trail American troops to the border.  “We’ll observe and report, and offer aid in any way we can,” said Shannon McGauley,

a bail bondsman in the Dallas suburbs who is president of the Texas Minutemen. McGauley said he was preparing to head for the Rio Grande in coming days. “We’ve proved ourselves before, and we’ll prove ourselves again,” he said. McGauley and others have been roused by the president’s call to restore order and defend the country against what Trump has called “an invasion,” as thousands of Central American migrants advance slowly through southern Mexico toward the U.S. border.

Chinese Priests Detained, Forced to Study Communist Orders on Christianity; 12 Worship Venues Seized
(The Christian Post) Two underground Catholic priests have been detained in Hebei Province, China, and forced to study the Communist government’s orders on how Christianity is to be practiced. More than a dozen underground religious venues in the province have also been seized, UCA News.com reported. The priests in question were identified as Father Su Guipeng and Father Zhao He from the Xuanhua Diocese.

Zhao was reportedly taken away by United Front Work Department of Yangyuan County personnel last week, who took his phone and placed him in detention at a hotel, putting him under constant surveillance by guards. The underground priest was then forced to recognize the state-controlled Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association and to study the revised regulations on religious practice.

(BBC News) Hackers appear to have compromised and published private messages from at least 81,000 Facebook users’ accounts. The perpetrators told the BBC Russian Service that they had details from a total of 120 million accounts, which they were attempting to sell, although there are reasons to be skeptical about that figure. Facebook said its security had not been compromised. And the data had probably been obtained through malicious browser extensions.

Facebook added it had taken steps to prevent further accounts being affected. The BBC understands many of the users whose details have been compromised are based in Ukraine and Russia. However, some are from the UK, US, Brazil and elsewhere. The hackers offered to sell access for 10 cents (8p) per account. However, their advert has since been taken offline. “We have contacted browser-makers to ensure that known malicious extensions are no longer available to download in their stores,” said Facebook executive Guy Rosen.

The first hit 25 miles east of Monterey, California, at 12.58pm GMT, with aftershocks recorded until 1.22pm, according to data from

the United States Geological Survey (USGS). All struck at relatively shallow depths of between 4 miles (6.5km) and 2.4 miles (3.9km) below the Earth’s surface, USGS said. (CBN News) A Minnesota federal appeals court recently heard the case of a mother who claims her underage son was given a sex change operation without her consent. Anmari Calgaro sued her county, school district, and medical care providers for allegedly bypassing her consent as the legal guardian, and giving her child transgender services and narcotic drugs. Calgaro originally filed the lawsuit in 2016 but was represented by the Thomas More Society before a three-judge panel on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

School officials who helped Calgaro’s 17-year-old son through the sex change process argued that he “should be treated as an emancipated minor because he had been living on his own and had a letter of emancipation, though it was not legally binding.” District Court Judge Paul Magnuson ruled in May 2017 that Calgaro’s son was not legally emancipated and her parental rights “remain intact.” However, he ruled against the mother, arguing that the parties involved could not be sued for violating her rights.

(Charisma Magazine) I know it’s considered a generalization to pin one issue on an entire nation, but America, we need to talk. I understand that it’s natural for our lives to follow a pattern, a daily, weekly and monthly routine that cycles over and over again. That’s fine. Really, it’s not this routine that I take issue with. But it seems to me that we in the American church have allowed our objectively neutral routines to create in our lives a spiritually fatal case of complacency. With the midterm elections approaching next week, we are being offered an incredible opportunity to break from the rut of our comfortable lives and take godly action.

It’s time for us to get up, get out and take part in what God is calling the church to do in this crucial, unprecedented season. The fate of our country and our hearts depends on it. The Word I see in the Bible that is most closely related to complacency is lukewarmness. In Revelation 3:15–16, God brings some of his strongest remarks against the church: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of My mouth.” Though these words were directed at the church at Laodicea, they could just as easily apply to the American church today.
