BREAKING: Trump Reveals the Truth About Hillary’s Past

Those who live in glass houses should avoid throwing stones — and the former Secretary of State lives in a glass mansion. Hillary Clinton took a pot shot at President Donald Trump’s remarks about North Korea during his first speech before the United Nations General Assembly this week, calling them “dark” and “dangerous” — but it backfired spectacularly.
Clinton was so eager to criticize Trump that she forgot about both her and her husband’s contribution to North Korea’s buildup of nuclear weaponry — and President Trump didn’t let her get away with it. Trump tweeted, “After allowing North Korea to research and build Nukes while Secretary of State (Bill C also), Crooked Hillary now criticizes.”
A call for action
Singling out Iran and North Korea, the president challenged other member-nations to take a stand against “a small group of rogue regimes” at the U.N. General Assembly. His assessment was made in recognition that sanctions have had little or no effect on North Korea’s saber-rattling.
“Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime,” Trump said, using a nickname for the North Korean leader that he first deployed on Twitter. “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.”
Clinton responds
Clinton told CBS “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert afterward that Trump’s address to the United Nations was “very dark” and “dangerous.”
“Not the kind of message that the leader of the greatest nation in the world should be delivering,” she said.
Trump fires back at “Crooked Hillary”
The president wasn’t having it — especially given Clinton’s own contribution to the problem. He fired back at the former first lady and secretary of state, using his medium of choice — Twitter. Trump tweeted:
Bam! The truth hurts, and this one was a triple-hitter. It addressed Clinton, her husband, and Clinton’s corruption in one sentence.
Former president Bill Clinton himself used similarly “dark” and “dangerous” language in 1993, saying that “if North Korea developed and used an atomic weapon, “we would quickly and overwhelmingly retaliate,” and “it would mean the end of their country as they know it.” Despite these strong words, Bill Clinton failed to stop North Korea’s developments.
As Secretary of State in the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton oversaw the “strategic patience” policy that critics say only gave North Korea more time to advance their nuclear program.
Clinton policies, and later Bush and Obama policies, failed to prevent North Korea from progressing in their nuclear agenda. Today the U.S. faces the uncomfortable reality that North Korean missiles are now capable of striking the U.S. mainland.
Praise from other quarters
Despite Hillary Clinton’s criticism, Trump’s U.N. remarks received praise from others — especially Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“In more than 30 years of my acquaintance with the U.N., I have not heard a more courageous and sharp speech,” Netanyahu, a former Israeli ambassador to the body, said after Trump’s remarks. “President Trump told the truth about the dangers lurking in the world, and called to face them forcefully to ensure the future of mankind.”
South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s office released a statement saying Trump’s speech portrayed “a firm and specific stance on the key issues regarding keeping peace and safety that the international community and the United Nations are faced with.”
“We greatly appreciate President Trump’s approach to changing North Korea’s policy stance, denuclearizing the country and calling on the international community, including China and Russia, for their cooperation toward strengthening pressure on North Korea,” the South Korean Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters, according to Reuters.
We’re out of road, Hillary
President Bill Clinton’s response to North Korean aggression was to kick the can down the road. Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama continued the process.
Hillary Clinton’s criticism indicates that she would prefer to continue in the same vein. But as White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster says, “We’ve been kicking the can down the road, and we’re out of road.”
