Police Release Body Cam of Michael Bennett Incident: Reveals STUNNING Reality…
http://conservativefighters.com/news/police-release-body-cam-michael-bennett-incident-reveals-stunning-reality/
As the National Football League’s brand and reputation continues to plummet over the anthem protests with no foreseeable end in sight, the players who have ignited this incendiary attack on our flag over perceived racial injustice and police brutality continue to peddle falsehoods about their plight.

It is ironic that the very players who have knelt in disrespect of our nation showed little initiative following Colin Kaepernick’s initial public display against the anthem last year. Their response was lackluster and non-existent. If these players really cared about the communities they claimed are violated, you would have seen an unprecedented response in the form of donations and speeches. It didn’t happen.

The most recent absurdity to come from followers of the “kneel” movement came from Seattle Seahawks star, Michael Bennett, who claimed that he was brutalized by police following the Mayweather-McGregor boxing match in Las Vegas.

From Biz Pac Review:

The player was high critical of how he was treated, blasting across social media that he was targeted “simply being a black man” and the officers used excessive force that was “unbearable.”

…this coming from a 6′ 4″ 274 lb. professional football player.
Bennett’s inflammatory words included the claim that an officer threatened to “blow my f**king head off.”

The body cam of the police officer who apprehended Mr. Bennett, told a different story, which according to the President of the Las Vegas Police Protective Association, amounts to defamation against the department:

Enough is enough. For the players, get back to football and quit the political messaging. It’s destroying the sport.

While the rest of his teammates failed to stand on the field during the national anthem on Sunday, one professional football player braved the wrath of his own coach by standing for something more important than a game.

Pittsburgh Steelers’ left tackle Alejandro Villanueva bravely stood front and center with his hand over his heart while the anthem played before Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Villanueva knows what the flag and the anthem represent; he served three tours of duty in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger.
Watch a patriot and hero take a stand for what’s right:

American Patriot
Villanueva, who received a Bronze Star Medal for Valor while in Afghanistan, made this decision after Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told the press that his team would remain in the locker room during the playing of the national anthem in Chicago.

The son of a Spanish Navy officer and a graduate of West Point, Villanueva has long been critical of the national anthem protests. After former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem in the 2015-16 football season, Villanueva said:

I don’t know if the most effective way is to sit down during the national anthem with a country that’s providing you freedom, providing you $16 million a year … when there are black minorities that are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan for less than $20,000 a year.
No Support From the Coach
Following his stand on Sunday, Villanueva has become something of a hero to many Americans. But coach Mike Tomlin is not too thrilled about this.

During a press conference, Tomlin criticized Villanueva for his actions.

“I was looking for 100 percent participation, we were gonna be respectful of our football team,” he said.

In other words, Tomlin is disappointed that Villanueva did not have more loyalty to his teammates than to his nation. In Tomlin’s words, Villanueva essentially made a scene when everyone else was trying to be respectful:

Many of them felt like something needed to be done. I asked those guys to discuss it and whatever they discussed that we have 100 percent participation or we do nothing.

They discussed it for an appropriate length of time and they couldn’t come to an understanding, so they chose to remove themselves from it.

They were not going to be disrespectful in the anthem so they chose not to participate, but at the same time many of them were not going to accept the words of the president.
At the end of the day, the actions of the athletes have heightened negative opinions against the sport and against the National Football League. It’s time for more athletes like Villanueva to stand up for what is right.

BREAKING: Disturbing Truth About NFL Revealed

BREAKING: Disturbing Truth About NFL Revealed

The power of political correctness has kept the National Football League from doing what is right. Not only has NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stood idly by as his employees symbolically trampled the United States flag by taking a knee during the National Anthem, but he condemns the president for taking a stand against these misguided protests.

After President Donald Trump said NFL owners should fire their athlete-activists, Goodell responded by arguing that any League-imposed censorship would violate the “constitutional rights of our players.” Yet, the NFL has had no problem restricting players’ freedom of expression in the past — in disturbing and controversial ways.

In one instance, players who sought to honor the victims of 9/11 were threatened with fines. In another example, the League forbid players from memorializing five Dallas-area police officers who were slain in 2015 by a Black Lives Matter killer.
Not For Loyalists
On Saturday, Goodell came out strongly against Trump for saying that players should be fired for taking a knee during the anthem. The NFL commissioner told fans:

The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture. Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.
However, if the “NFL and our players are at our best” when they are protesting or pursuing a political cause, then why did Goodell prevent players from doing so when they sought to pay tribute to the Dallas police officers killed by Micah Xavier Johnson?

Players for the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a tiny decal on their helmets that said, “Arm in Arm” to acknowledge the sacrifice of local law enforcement. Citing uniform violations, the NFL disappointed players by denying them their freedom of expression — this time.

Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation President was disappointed by the decision, telling TMZ:

The NFL had an opportunity to be leaders and advocates for change in law enforcement. These are our friends and our loved ones … it hurts to not have the NFL fully support us.
Pandora’s Box
Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones respected the NFL’s decision, claiming that allowing players to demonstrate in favor of a particular political cause would open up “Pandora’s Box.” Jones explained his decision:

There are so many wonderful, wonderful causes, the league has to be careful. If you allow one, then what do you do about every team that has a great reason to have something on their helmets?
Hypocritically, just last night Jones was among the players and coaches to take a knee during the Monday Night Football National Anthem in defiance of his own words. Apparently, it is fine to open Pandora’s Box as long as it is filled with liberal social issues and leftist identity causes.

Unacceptable tribute
Last September, NFL players sought to pay homage to the thousands of Americans murdered by Islamist terrorists on 9/11. The New York Post reported:

Avery Williamson, a starting linebacker for the Tennessee team, hoped to wear a pair of specially-designed cleats at his team’s home opener Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, but he backed off when a league rep vowed to fine him for violating the league’s uniform code.
When Port Authority Police Benevolent Association President Paul Nunziato vowed to “take a goal line stand” against the NFL prohibition, the League backed off. Six players wore the 9/11 tribute cleats but were not fined after public outrage compelled the NFL to not fine the individuals.

There have been no threats from the NFL of fines for the players that are kneeling during the National Anthem.

More important things to do
Meanwhile, the liberal establishment is an uproar over Trump’s comments against NFL players’ activism. A Washington Post headline reads, “Trump ignores Puerto Rico’s devastation to tweet about the NFL.”

The far-left New York Times was quick to condemn the president, as well, seeking out ordinary Americans who questioned the president’s decision to politicize football when so many other important issues are at stake. However, these same liberals seem to forget how their own partisan Messiah made reforming NCAA football a key part of his political platform.

“This is important,” President Barack Obama said eight years ago of a potential NCAA football playoff. “So I’m going to throw my weight around a little bit, I think it’s the right thing to do.”

When Obama made this statement, America was in the midst of a recession and U.S. soldiers were dying at unprecedented rates in Afghanistan. Apparently, though, for the left the honor and integrity of the American flag is secondary to a college football playoff system.

Fear of the “R” word
The indisputable fact is that the NFL has weighed the consequences of their choices and have determined that it would be more damaging for teams if they took a stand against the kneeling multi-millionaires. Conversely, if Goodell were to come out today and declare that it was against League policy to kneel during the National Anthem, he would risk being labeled the “R” word.

In contemporary American society, no other accusation carries more negative implications than being called a racist. Despite what the rules might say, the NFL is unwilling to absorb racial epithets in the name of patriotism and judiciousness.

The most effective mechanism for self-censorship is the threat of being associated with racial oppression, and the NFL is willing to compromise its principles in order to avoid this designation.

ALERT: Obama Issues Nasty NFL Announcement
September 27, 2017 Ben Baker

When Kaepernick first chose not to stand for the national anthem at an NFL game last year, politics seeped into the game and haven’t left since.

Yet as the Washington Times reported, it would seem Barack Obama blames President Trump for politicizing football. During a paid speech on health care, he told listeners, “Our big problem right now is politics. Can’t even get it out of football.”

While his comment about politics in football didn’t target Trump directly, it is highly suspicious considering that the comment occurred after Trump’s controversial statements over the weekend and not during the Kaepernick protests or other players protesting throughout the year.

It’s also incredibly hypocritical that he would criticize anyone for seeking to politicize football, considering he did just that throughout his presidency, according to The Guardian. Since 2013, Obama and his administration have tried to influence the Washington Redskins into changing their name out of concerns for political correctness and offending fans of the NFL.

In 2013 he sided with opponents of the Washington Redskins who considered the name of the team offensive to Native Americans. Speaking to reporters he said, “If I were the owner of the team and I knew that the name of my team, even if they’ve had a storied history, that was offending a sizable group of people, I’d think about changing it.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said while fans should be considered, it’s the Redskins owner’s decision. “If one person’s offended, we have to listen. And ultimately, it is Dan [Snyder]’s decision. But it is something that I want all of us to go out and make sure we’re listening to our fans, listening to people who have a different view, and making sure that we continue to do what’s right.”

The Washington Times reported that the Obama administration also participated heavily in the lawsuits trying to force the Redskins name change by denying trademark rights. The lawsuit would prevent the Redskins from renewing their trademarks and patents under the Redskins name.

Obama’s acting assistant attorney general, Joyce R. Branda, said the DOJ sided with the prosecutors to protect the “cultural heritage” of Native Americans. “I believe strongly in the rights of all Americans to celebrate and maintain their unique cultural heritage.”

The Hill also reported that in 2015, the Obama administration was seriously considering blocking the construction of a new stadium for the team because of the controversy surrounding the name. Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser was informed by the interior secretary, Sally Jewell, that the Obama administration would not work with or accommodate the construction until the name was changed.

In a paid speech where he opined on health care, Obama told listeners, “Our big problem right now is politics. Can’t even get it out of football.” Is the NFL controversy Trump’s “fault”?

Is the NFL controversy Trump's "fault"?

Considering Obama and his administration engaged in the political controversy surrounding the Redskins for several years, it’s hypocritical for him to comment on the politics surrounding the statement made by Trump over the weekend.

Furthermore, it’s interesting that Obama and other Democrats would push the Redskins to change their name because it offended fans, yet don’t seem to care that the current protests against the national anthem are offending fans.

While many could agree with Obama’s statement that it’s unfortunate that politics has found its way onto the field, he should also hold himself responsible for the number of years he and his administration waged political war with the Washington Redskins.

BREAKING: NFL Ticket Sales Numbers Just Released
September 29, 2017 Frank Spear
https://www.christiannewsalerts.com/nfl-ticket-sales/?utm_medium=push&utm_source=AP&utm_campaign=onesignal
The national anthem controversy in the NFL is one of the most hotly debated topics right now. It all started when Colin Kaepernick decided to kneel during the anthem last season to allegedly fight racism and police brutality.

Now, ticket sales numbers for the week are in after President Trump said that NFL team owners need to fire players who refuse to unify during the national anthem. Shockingly — or perhaps not to the fans — NFL ticket sales are down almost 20 percent, according to the Washington Examiner. Considering the amount of money the league makes every year, this percentage drop is huge.

TickPick, an online ticket retailer, issued their sales numbers for the week and it revealed startling statistics. Sales are down exactly 17.9 percent compared to the previous week.

This stat is particularly revealing, because while there is a history of third-week ticket sale declines, no decline in history is even close to this. It sends a strong message to the NFL that the consumers are in charge of their business.

Players may have found it “necessary” to kneel during the national anthem last week, but consequently, many Americans felt it “necessary” to refuse to buy NFL tickets.

TickPick’s representative, Jack Slingland, spoke on the topic: “We have seen a massive decrease in NFL ticket purchases this past week in comparison to years past. Week 3 seems to usually have less ticket orders than week 2, but this year ticket purchases are down more than 7 percent from this time last year.”

In light of last week’s protests, there was no clear answer as to why they were kneeling. Some think that they were kneeling for Kaepernick’s original cause — to battle racial injustice and police brutality.

Others believe — and think it is more likely — that the protests occurred because of President Trump’s comments during an Alabama speech. In the speech, he said that he believed anyone who disrespected the national anthem, flag, or any bit of American unity should be fired.

Slingland admitted that he isn’t sure about the recent ticket drop as it relates to the protests. “While we can’t specify if this decrease is due to the president’s comments, player and owner protests, play on the field, or simply the continued division of consumer’s media attention, the conversation around the NFL this week has focused on the president’s comments as well as the players’ and owners’ reaction,” Slingland said.

With ticket sales tanking, the NFL is paying a price for not enforcing their own rules requiring respect for the anthem. Will the NFL learn any lessons from this?

Is the NFL learning any lessons in the anthem protest kerfuffle?

Yes
No
Next
Many teams have said that they will be standing together in unity for week three instead of kneeling. Teams such as the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers have released statements saying that their actions were not intended to show disrespect towards the military or the United States.

It is hard to say whether they are back peddling on their behavior because they realize that they were wrong, or because they realize that they are infuriating the average fan who doesn’t want to see disrespect towards the United States or politics in football — or both, perhaps.

Slingland did confirm that, “As viewers continue to abandon their NFL Sunday habits, both the number of ticket sales and the purchase price of tickets will drop.” Ergo, there are consequences to one’s actions, and the NFL is learning that the hard way.
