Life in the White House is stressful. That’s probably one of the reasons why most staffers last only a short term — months to a few years — rather than sticking around for a full presidential term.

But Ivanka Trump, ever loyal to her father, has done just that. As his first term winds to a close and he faces the voters once again this coming November, Ivanka is considering her options.

During a surprising sit-down interview with CBS’ Face the Nation, Ivanka revealed that one term might be enough for her. “I am driven first and foremost by my kids and their happiness, so that’s always going to be my top priority,” she said.

She went on, “My decisions will always be flexible enough to ensure that their needs are being considered first and foremost, so they will really drive that answer for me.”

Though her answer is murky, we can read between the lines a bit and surmise that she’s seriously considering her options post-White House. Though her father is likely to be reelected, one term in the White House is enough for most staffers.

She did offer some insight into a future political career of her own, telling Face the Nation that she cares about policy and “[lifting] communities and changing people’s lives.” Whether she stays or goes, one thing is certain: we have not seen the last of Ivanka Trump.

If you thought Ivanka Trump would just sit back and watch while the media and Democrats in Congress assail her father, you would be wrong. In a recent Fox Business interview, Ivanka questioned Democrats’ priorities.

“I think everything’s a question of priorities. We have our priorities in the White House. We’re fighting every day for the American worker,” she told the reporter.

Asked about her father’s level of focus on the Ukraine scandal and Democrats’ impeachment hopes, she was blunt, telling the reporter, “My father has definitely grown used to this. This has been true basically since day one. Certainly since the election so we’re focused on delivering and fulfilling promises made to the American people.”

Ivanka will not be distracted. In fact, she’s calling out Democrats in Congress for their lack of focus on things that the American people are about, such as health care and keeping our booming economy growing.

While Pelosi’s House Democrats try to impeach a duly elected President who did not break the law, more important things aren’t happening. Trump’s new trade deal to replace NAFTA? No movement in the House. Fixing the broken health care system? Nothing but obstruction.

It appears that Nancy Pelosi is good at one thing: obstruction. And if she and her Democrats do not reverse court, they will pay for it next November at the polls.

Democrats’ chances of winning the White House in 2020 have come to an end, according to Lara Trump.

Trump broke down for Fox News host Jeanine Pirro on Saturday why Democrats are so fixated on impeaching her father-in-law — and she didn’t hold back.

“What you have happening right now is the Democrat Party realizing that they have no shot at winning back the presidency in 2020 because all of their candidates are terrible, Jeanine,” Trump said. “So what are they trying to do? They have been trying to impeach this president for over two years now.

“Any chance they get, they throw the possible impeachment,” she continued. “They started the inquiry without even hearing what was in this phone call, so we see it for what it is.”

“Their last-ditch attempt”
Trump was referring to a July phone call between the president and Ukraine’s leader. During the conversation, President Donald Trump asked his Ukrainian counterpart to look into allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden used his position to protect his son’s company.

“This is their last-ditch attempt to try and usurp the presidency to take away the presidency from a duly elected president in Donald Trump,” Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s son Eric, said. And Pirro seemed to agree.

“There’s no question that from the day he was elected, not even the day he walked into the Oval [Office], but from the day he was elected, they were like, ‘We’ve got to get this outsider out of here because he’s beholden to no one,'” Pirro lamented. The Fox host went on:

But there has to be a certain amount of disappointment, you know, with a president who is working so hard every day, I call him the tip of the spear, if you watch the show at all. He’s faced with nothing but incoming.

“Exposing the swamp”
For her part, Lara Trump added the treatment of her father-in-law has been unprecedented.


“I don’t think any of us have ever seen anything quite like this, but you’re right, you have a man in Donald Trump that is different, that is exposing the swamp in Washington, D.C,” Lara Trump said.

“For a long time, these people have been getting away with everything,” she added. “Their livelihood is basically getting themselves rich while their constituents back home get nothing accomplished whatsoever for them in Washington, D.C., because they’re there to make themselves better and not the country better, unfortunately.”

Exposing the Dems for the hypocrites that they are, Lara Trump wrapped up her interview by asking how the left would be treating her husband or brother-in-law if they were the ones who had the business arrangements with Ukraine instead of Hunter Biden.

“Could you imagine, Jeanine, if this were Eric or Don?” Lara Trump asked. “They would be hysterical.”

If it weren’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all.

Case in point: The offspring of Republicans whom leftists loathe — like, say now-13-year-old Barron Trump — are fair game, while the offspring of Democrats must be protected, even if they’re close to qualifying for membership in the AARP.

Most of America has heard of Hunter Biden by now. The son of Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden pulled down a hefty $50,000-a-month salary as a board member for a Ukraine energy company called Burisma Holdings that’s now at the center of a controversy engulfing Washington.

But the other reason Biden’s son has been in the news is a troubling paternity case in which, according to the Washington Examiner, an Arkansas woman says he is the father of a baby girl.

Conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt interviewed Sen. Tom Cotton on Thursday and tweeted a quote from the Arkansas Republican criticizing the younger Biden for apparently avoiding cooperation with the baby’s mother.

Michael Barbaro, the host of the New York Times podcast “The Daily,” quickly leaped into action.

It wasn’t to criticize the 49-year-old Biden – who is already the father of three grown daughters, according to the Examiner. It was to attack Hewitt for circulating “personal attacks on a candidate[‘]s child.”

The mind fairly reels.
A sane person might think it’s a parody, but Barbaro hasn’t deleted the tweet or given any indication that it’s a joke — though he’s gotten plenty of responses from users who see the ugly absurdity of it.

It’s pretty clear from other tweets on Barbaro’s thread where his political sympathies lie — firmly on the left, in case his employment with the vociferously anti-Trump New York Times wasn’t clue enough.
It’s also clear from some of the many mocking responses that many social media users thought the post was ludicrous.

But Barbaro’s defense of a fully grown candidate’s “child” can’t help but bring to mind how leftists think it’s A-OK to attack an actual child – like the son of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, who has been the subject of some of the most hideous social media posts out there ever since his father became the object of insane hatred from the left.

Remember when now-deceased actor Peter Fonda suggested in a tweet that child rape was an appropriate wish for the president’s youngest son?

Or how about when a noted animator in the entertainment world decided to post a drawing of young Barron with no pants on?

Both of those cases were making news last summer. But it was only earlier this month that MSNBC host — and one-time Republican — Joe Scarborough decided to publicly question whether the president is actually Barron’s father.

As has been pointed out over and over again, if conservatives had given former President Barack Obama’s daughters anything like the treatment meted out to Barron, the mainstream media would be outraged — as it should be.

But because the left hates Trump, apparently, Barron is fair game.

That’s a loathsome equation, of course, but even that doesn’t quite explain the borderline insanity of anyone pretending that the rules that protect the children of politicians would come anywhere near applying to a man in early middle age, much less one who has leveraged his father’s high government position to become co-owner of a billion-dollar equity firm, as author Peter Schweizer has documented.

Of course, not all of the left is this crazy. But the fact that Barbaro got even a few responses from liberals agreeing with him just goes to show how far removed from sanity liberals can get.

If it weren’t for double standards, they’d have no standards at all.

Arwa Mahdawi, who is a columnist at The Guardian even claimed that people should be “afraid” of Ivanka’s hair because it might mean she has more political ambitions:

No matter how bad your week’s been, if it hasn’t involved death, a negative medical prognosis, job loss or indictment, it’s probably been better than Lawrence O’Donnell’s week has been.

Now, according to Eric Trump, it’s going to end in court.

The thing was that the week was actually looking pretty good for the MSNBC host. O’Donnell had, on Tuesday, broken a massive story that could have rekindled the Russia conspiracy theory mill: A source close to Deutsche Bank told O’Donnell that they’d seen the president’s taxes and they showed that Russian oligarchs had cosigned loans Trump had taken out.

“I have not seen any documentation from Deutsche Bank that supports this and verifies this,” O’Donnell said on MSNBC, according to The Wrap.

“This is just a single source who has revealed that to me and that’s where that stands at this point. It’s going to need a lot more verification before that can be a confirmable fact.”

See, the deal is that you usually don’t report those sorts of things, particularly given if they haven’t been confirmed by a second source. If you also have to say out loud that “[i]t’s going to need a lot more verification before that can be a confirmable fact,” you’re on the primrose path to lawsuitville.

In fact, he got there in a hurry. On Wednesday, Trump attorney Charles Harder threatened legal action if the story wasn’t retracted.


By Wednesday afternoon, O’Donnell had pretty much backtracked entirely on Twitter.

On Wednesday night, he issued a  mea culpa on “The Last Word.”

“I repeated statements a single source told me about the president’s finances and loan documents with Deutsche Bank. Saying ‘if true’ as I discussed the information was simply not good enough,” he said.

“I did not go through the rigorous verification and standards process here at MSNBC before repeating what I heard from my source. Had it gone through that process, I would not have been permitted to report it.”

“This afternoon, attorneys for the president sent us a letter asserting the story is false. They also demanded a retraction. Tonight, we are retracting the story,” O’Donnell said.

That wasn’t good enough for Eric Trump, however.

“This was a reckless attempt to slander our family and smear a great company,” Trump said in a tweet.

“Apologies are not enough when the true intent was solely to damage and cause harm. As a company, we will be taking legal action. This unethical behavior has to stop.”

Eric Trump is an executive vice president of the Trump Organization, helping run the company along with his brother Donald Jr. while their father is president.

Whether or not legal action happens is another issue entirely.

Such action would likely involve proving that O’Donnell wasn’t just negligent in reporting single-sourced information but also proving that what he reported was actively untrue. That would require releasing the tax returns in question, most likely — something that the president has been reticent to do as of late.

Then again, maybe this is where Trump draws the line and goes to court.

I could be proven wrong, but given the rapidity with which O’Donnell backed off this claim and the fact that at least one of his MSNBC colleagues made it publicly clear he wasn’t standing by him, my assumption is that this story is about as legit as a $100 bill with Benjamin Bratt on the front.

The Trumps have made it clear they’re no fans of the media. If this story is untrue and they’re willing to go through with a protracted legal process, there’s almost no better way to exact revenge for this foul-smelling story than beating MSNBC and Lawrence O’Donnell in a court of law.

Then again, perhaps the embarrassment for O’Donnell is victory enough.

“This is one of the reasons that a majority of Americans have lost trust in the media,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in response to the O’Donnell allegations, according to The Hill.


“Instead of applying ethics and standards to their reporting, journalists and left-wing outlets have weaponized the media, using it to attack and harass people with little to no regard for the truth.”

When anyone’s talking about you like that, you can bet it’s been a bad week. The worst part is that it’s only Thursday.

Ivanka Trump turned down a job at the World Bank to keep working in her father’s administration.

Ms. Trump, who is touring Africa to promote women’s rights, told the Associated Press on Wednesday that the president offered her the job of World Bank chief, but she passed on it because she is happy in her role as White House senior adviser. Treasury Department official David Malpass got the job instead.

President Donald Trump praised his daughter Ivanka’s “natural” diplomatic ability in an interview with The Atlantic Friday and added that he thought she would be good for the job because she’s “good with numbers.”

Crunching numbers
In an interview with the AP in the Ivory Coast, Ivanka Trump said that her father pitched the job as “a question” about whether she wanted to work for the bank, but she told him she was “happy with the work” she’s doing. Trump said that she worked with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on selecting a candidate for the role, which went to Malpass.

“He did ask me about that. But I love the work that I’m doing. And myself and Secretary Mnuchin…oversaw the process of selecting the final candidate and bringing multiple candidates to the president,” Ivanka Trump said.

The president’s eldest daughter said that she and Mnuchin had a “strong preference” for Malpass, who she said will do an “unbelievable” job fulfilling the bank’s mission to “eradicate poverty” and empower women in the workforce. Ms. Trump, who is known for her work on women’s economic empowerment, said that Malpass is aligned with that goal.


“He also cares deeply about women’s economic empowerment and that the mission of the World Bank is to eradicate poverty,” she said. “And one of the smartest ways to do that is by targeting women…the education of women and girls, skills training, economic opportunities.”

Ivanka Trump is currently visiting Africa to promote her Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, which she launched in February. The tour includes a World Bank policy summit.

“This mission is crucial to the peace and stability of Nations and is achievable if we focus our collaborative efforts on job training, entrepreneurship and breaking down the legal and cultural barriers that restrict women from achieving their full economic potential,” she said.

The president’s daughter has expressed a goal of economically empowering 50 million women by 2025.

Diplomatic daughter
When asked if her father considered her for any other top jobs, Ivanka Trump said, “I’ll keep that between us.”

Ms. Trump also said that she does not envision a run for office in the future. Her father told The Atlantic Friday that Ivanka would be “very, very hard to beat” if she ran for president, but said his daughter hasn’t shown interest in running for office.

President Trump also said in that interview that Ivanka is “unique” and a “natural diplomat,” which would make her a good fit to lead the U.N., but said he didn’t push for the role because he wanted to avoid accusations of nepotism.

“She’s a natural diplomat,” he added. “She would’ve been great at the United Nations, as an example… [But] if I did, they’d say nepotism, when it would’ve had nothing to do with nepotism. But she would’ve been incredible.”

The Media Bias
When a man sent bombs to various Democrats and liberals, Trump was blamed.

The individual suspected of sending the packages was an admitted Trump supporter, so that is what the media focused on — and they weren’t shy about blaming Trump’s rhetoric for the attacks.

But when a shooting occurred in Washington while a congressional baseball team was practicing, quite a different approach was taken by the media.

James T. Hodgkinson, who police identified as the shooter, was a Bernie Sanders supporter.

In fact, he had worked on Sanders’ presidential campaign.

Despite this, The New York Times mentioned Trump in one headline, and blamed the shooter’s upbringing in another. What gives?

Twisting the Narrative
This is how news media outlets operate today.

They are not reporting the news, but rather, twisting the facts to perpetuate a very specific narrative.

Indeed, they take advantage of any chance they get to throw some shade on Trump — all the while protecting Democrats from being associated with these maniacs.

The truth is, it is not Trump getting these extremists riled up — it is the media.

Michael Cohen may just have done it again.

Cohen testified before Congress that he never wanted to work in the White House — but Eric Trump says it was a running joke that Cohen was “lobbying EVERYONE to be ‘Chief of Staff.”

If that is, in fact, the case, then Cohen committed perjury during his recent testimony in front of Congress.

Lying Again
As you may recall, Cohen has already been convicted for lying to Congress. Now, after giving a tear-jerking opening statement to Congress in an effort to gain public sympathy, Cohen has apparently lied again.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked Cohen, “That’s the point, isn’t it, Mr. Cohen. Isn’t it? You wanted to work in the White House, but you didn’t get brought to the dance.”

Cohen replied, “I was extremely proud to be the personal attorney to the President of the United States of America.”

“I did not want to go to the White House. I was offered jobs,” he added.

Eric Trump tweeted in response: “Michael was lobbying EVERYONE to be “Chief of Staff.” It was the biggest joke in the campaign and around the office. Did he just perjure himself again?”

That one statement, made in an effort to zing President Donald Trump, could come back to haunt Cohen.

Previous reports tend to support Eric’s claim far more than they do Cohen’s. In a report from another publication, President Trump once likened Cohen to a “bull in a China shop.” Point being, there were far too many risks associated with Cohen to allow him to set up shop in the White House.

Jordan and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) immediately sent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, accusing Cohen of making “a spectacular and brazen attempt to knowing and willfully testify falsely and fictitiously to numerous material facts. His testimony included intentionally false statements designed to make himself look better on a national stage.”

If all of this is true, Cohen has yet again lied under oath to Congress. If he keeps it up, he may never see the light of day again!

US President Donald Trump’s senior adviser Jared Kushner said in an interview Monday that the administration’s much-awaited Israeli-Palestinian peace plan will focus on “redrawing of boundaries and resolving final status issues.”

Kushner spoke with Sky News Arabic in comments overlaid with an Arabic translation. His original English-language quotes were not immediately available.
Kushner said that since “very little has changed over the last 25 years,” the administration’s team had worked to “formulate realistic solutions for the issues of 2019, which will improve quality of life.

“We want to bring peace, not fear. We want to ensure there is free flow of people and of goods. We must create new opportunities.”
Kushner also called for unified rule over the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, which are currently split between the internationally recognized Palestinian Authority and the Hamas terror group, respectively.

“We want to see the Palestinians united under one leadership, the Palestinians want a non-corrupt government that cares for their own interests,” he said.

Kushner, who is also Trump’s son-in-law, added that the plan will “have a broad economic impact, not only on Israel and the Palestinians, but on the entire region as well.”

The Trump administration has closely guarded details of its peace proposal, which Kushner said in the interview was necessary to ensure its chance of success.
“When we learned about previous rounds of negotiations, we discovered that many of the details came out before they were ready, which pushed the statesmen to flee from the plan,” he said.
Kusher said last week that details of the US plan would be released after Israeli elections on April 9.

Family Vacation
The Trump family never got to celebrate Christmas or the New Year with their father due to the government shutdown. While the rest of the family went to Mar-a-Lago, the president stayed behind hoping Democrats would come to the table to discuss border security.

As it turned out, the president missed his family’s holiday celebration for nothing, as Dems never had any intention of working through the legislation with him. But Trump didn’t let their games stop him from enjoying family time this winter.

The first lady, the president, and young Barron all hopped on Air Force One this weekend to head to Florida for a few days in the sun.

Growing Up Quick
Meanwhile, it is hard not to notice how quickly Barron is growing up.

Most Americans still remember the images of a very shy 10-year-old Barron being taken aback by the surreal events that led to his father becoming president. (His mouth often hung agape as he took in the inaugural events.)

While Barron’s life is still very much private, when we see him now, it is clear he is becoming a man. At 12, Barron even appears to be slightly taller than the president, who himself is already reportedly 6’3″.

Indeed, Barron’s previous awkwardness in public is quickly being replaced by a confident gait, and he seems to be getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera.

This is quite amazing considering that we have rarely, if ever, seen a child in the White House have so much negativity aimed at them by the press.
Barron is clearly a young man with a bright future ahead of him. The only question now is if he will follow his father in business and politics or go the route chosen by his mother and become a fashion icon.

President Donald Trump will be watching the Super Bowl in style this year.

With the government finally open, the president and several members of his family decided to head to his Mar-a-Lago resort to watch the big game this weekend.

Party Time
President Trump is a huge sports fan, and he’s reportedly friends with Tom Brady and Bob Kraft, the quarterback and owner, respectively, of the New England Patriots.

As you may recall, Brady got himself in hot water when a MAGA hat was spotted in his locker during a post-game interview. But despite the fact that that happened more than two years ago, Brady still cannot live it down.

Even though the president’s favorite NFL QB stiffed him, there is little doubt Trump will be rooting for the Patriots come Sunday evening.

Indeed, a Super Bowl party hosted by Trump at Mar-a-Lago is actually somewhat of a tradition.

We know for sure that First Lady Melania Trump, first son Barron, first daughter Ivanka, and the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will all be there, as they traveled together on Air Force One to Florida. Who knows who else could have been invited?

Since they did not get to spend Christmas and New Year’s together, the family is more than likely going to treat this as their holiday celebration.

Much-Needed Break
Even though the president will be working in Florida this weekend, it is still a nice break from the grind of D.C. for him.

For more than a month, the president has been getting raked over the coals by the media regarding the shutdown.

Meanwhile, he is still facing scrutiny over the Russia investigation. After Roger Stone’s arrest, many pundits suspected Donald Trump Jr. would be next, something that is surely weighing heavily on the president.

Regardless, he and his family now have a few days to get away from things and enjoy the big game, just like the rest of America. Now, we just need to hope the halftime show does not turn into a ridiculous liberal showcase, as many suspect it will.

Democrats promised to subpoena the living daylights out of the Trump administration if they took back the House in November, and the new majority was hopeful that a recent Senate investigation may provide the evidence needed to move forward with impeachment proceedings.

Confident that then-candidate Donald Trump was conspiring with Russia to take down Hillary Clinton, Democrats sought to uncover the identity of three blocked incoming calls to Trump Jr.’s phone arriving around the same time as a now-infamous Trump Tower meeting with a Russian attorney. The private numbers have now been identified as belonging to close family friends Brian France and Howard Lorber, throwing water on a Democratic conspiracy theory that lasted for months and prompted disgraceful accusations of a Republican cover-up.

Conspiracy busted
“After a year of hearing about this one ad nauseam, yet another left-wing narrative officially bites the dust,” Trump Jr. said after hearing that the callers had been identified.

Accompanied by other senior Trump campaign officials, Trump Jr. met with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya in June 2016 with the understanding that she possessed negative information about Clinton. However, Veselnitskaya instead wanted to talk about overturning financial sanctions imposed against wealthy Russian oligarchs, causing Trump Jr. to lose interest and adjourn the meeting after just ten minutes.

While it isn’t illegal to conduct opposition research on political opponents, President Donald Trump insisted that he had no knowledge of the Trump Tower meeting, and Trump Jr. testified behind closed doors that he couldn’t recall the identity behind the blocked phone calls.

“To me as a former prosecutor, that looks like he may very well have been trying to call his father to talk to his father about taking this meeting with the Agalarovs, who are friends with Donald Trump,” Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) told MSNBC in April. “So, it would blow up the whole story that Donald Trump the candidate had no idea that this meeting took place.”

“Hot cellphone lead”
No one in Congress was more convinced that Trump Jr.’s phone records would point to his father’s involvement than Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who took over as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee in January. “Republicans refused to look at the phone records so that we could find out because they were afraid of what the answer might be,” Schiff said in November.

“We can’t obviously force them to work with us,” Schiff told USA Today when House Republicans refused to subpoena the phone records. “They’ll have to make the decision for themselves whether they’re interested in finding out the truth or they’re interested in merely being extensions of Rudy Giuliani.”

Republican Intelligence Committee spokesman Jack Langer dismissed the allegation, arguing that Schiff “doesn’t have the best track record in proving his various conspiracy theories — but good luck to him on his hot cellphone lead.”

Trump Jr. was not impressed, either. “He was basically, like, ‘Yawn,’” a source close to Trump Jr. told The Observer. “They’re going to come up with a thousand of these things. Like, let’s see his credit card statements the day he had that meeting.”

In May, Democrats from the Senate Judiciary Committee released documents showing that Trump Jr. placed two phone calls to a private phone number on June 6, lasting 11 minutes and 4 minutes respectively. A second call lasting 3 minutes was made on June 9 to a separate blocked number.

According to two sources briefed on the matter who spoke to The New York Times, those calls were to NASCAR CEO Brian France and business investor Howard Lorber. France has known the Trump family for more than 20 years, and he has appeared alongside Trump at campaign rallies and conventions.

Lorber has known the family even longer, and he has been involved in real estate deals with the president. A spokesperson for Lorber said the business executive “does not recall having conversations with Donald Jr. in the summer of 2016, but in any event he has absolutely not had conversations with Donald Jr. about any Russian matters.”

Know when to fold em’
Although the criminal conspiracy theory has been debunked, Schiff isn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet. “Those conversations could have taken place over the phone or they could have taken place by Don Jr. walking down the hall to talk to Dad,” Schiff told The Times, referencing other possible scenarios in which Trump Jr. could have informed his father of the meeting.

The new chairman of the House Intelligence Committee pledged to find out “what the president’s role was in all of this.”

Perhaps Democrats should subpoena Trump Tower security footage to see if Schiff’s alternative harebrained theory is correct. Or better yet, perhaps the FBI had some listening devices in the Trump family home at the time, or maybe Democrats could consult with one of the FBI spies embedded with the Trump campaign in 2016.

On Instagram, Trump Jr. posted footage of parents of Americans killed by illegal immigrants.

One of those parents was Mary Ann Mendoza, who lost her son to a drunk driver and has made multiple failed attempts to connect with Sen. Pelosi.

“Why is [Pelosi] ignoring and refusing to meet with these heroic Angel mom’s?” asked Don Jr., captioning the video. “The victims of illegal immigration deserve a voice, even if Pelosi and her Democrat friends want to pretend they don’t exist.”

The left will do its best to bury these victims’ stories, but President Trump has already reposted his son’s Instagram post, and many conservatives continue to flood social media with the names and faces of the American casualties of lax border enforcement.

Ivanka Trump will stay at White House, won’t take World Bank job as reported

With World Bank president Jim Young Kim stepping down, there were several reports that Ivanka Trump was being considered as his replacement.

The White House shut down those rumors quickly, issuing a report stating those rumors are just flat out “false.”

Jessica Ditto, the White House Deputy Director of Communications, stated, “Reports that she is under consideration are false.”

Rumors Running Rampant
The Financial Times was the first to break the story, then it just took on a life of its own.

Immediately, members of the media started to once again accuse President Donald Trump of using his office for his own family’s personal gain.

The same innuendoes were being made when Nikki Haley stepped down.

Ivanka was apparently recommended for the ambassadorship by several people, but Trump did not move forward with her appointment because of the cries of nepotism.

The Real Story
Generally, the World Bank president would be someone with a significant background in business, finance, and banking.

While Ivanka Trump has run her own business, it is fairly safe to assume being the president of the World Bank would be a bit of an ambitious appointment.

Apparently, Ivanka was never actually in the running for the position.

She was, however, asked to help in the search for a replacement for Jim Young Kim by Steven Mnuchin, Treasury Secretary, and Trump’s acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney.

This makes far more sense, as one of Ivanka’s duties in her role as a presidential advisor has been to work with the leadership of the World Bank.

It should also be noted, the United States does not technically get to pick the president of the bank.

The recommendation of the United States is taken very seriously but ultimately, the bank’s board has to approve the nominee.

President Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, apparently has gotten herself a new beau.

Tiffany’s previous boyfriend, Ross Mechanic, has been kicked to the curb for Nigerian native Michael Boulos.

On Friday, Tiffany shared a photo on Instagram with Boulos in the Red Room of the White House.


While she waited to post the photo until now, it appears to have been taken on December 13, when she posted a photo of herself in the same dress in the Red Room.

Out with the Old
Tiffany was believed to have been serious about her relationship with Mechanic.

Much was made about the relationship during the election due to Mechanic’s liberal ties.

The two broke up last year, however, as Tiffany was going to Georgetown Law School.

She was reportedly just a bit stressed out over having a relationship that required traveling between New York and D.C.

Until now, her personal relationships have been kept very low key.

Then, along comes Michael Boulos, who grew up in Nigeria and is now based in London. His family runs a successful conglomerate, SCOA Nigeria.

The New Guy
Tiffany reportedly met Boulos at actress Lindsey Lohan’s beach club in Mykonos over the summer.

While the two were dating, they managed to keep their relationship out of the media.

Someone close to the couple told Page Six in November, “Tiffany is happy she has so far been able to keep things with Michael under the radar.”

That all changed when Tiffany brought Boulos to Thanksgiving dinner to meet her family. It’s unclear whether or not that included her father.

Even after the big meet, the relationship was still kept low key until the big “outing” happened over the Christmas holiday.

Michael Avenatti, the disgraced lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, just published a cryptic tweet aimed at Don Jr. and implying that he had already been given notice that he was indicted.

Another legal analyst has examined special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and believes 2019 will bring some bad news for the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump, Jr.

Elie Honig, a former federal prosecutor, stated, “I also think Donald Trump, Jr. needs to be a little bit worried on a couple of these bases.”

“When Michael Cohen pled guilty a few weeks ago to making the hush money payments, the campaign finance violations, the papers referenced ‘executive 1’ and ‘executive 2’ within the Trump Organization. If either of those are Donald Trump Jr., he could be in trouble,” Honig said on CNN Friday.

“He also has potential exposure for lying to Congress about the Moscow project, which is another thing Michael Cohen pled guilty to,” Honig added. “We could also have indictments there.”

Campaign finance violations
One of the biggest problems facing the Trumps right now is that Mueller is apparently trying to link the money paid to the women who allege Trump paid them off to keep quiet about past affairs as campaign finance violations.

Both of these payments were made by parties other than Trump, at least initially.

In the case of the Daniels money, Trump later reimbursed Cohen for that money.

However, Trump and his attorneys have been adamant the money used in these cases was personal money, not campaign funds.

Mueller, however, appears to be going after the angle that since these women could have hurt Trump’s chances of becoming president, they were, in fact, political campaign contributions.

Mueller’s plan
Mueller, apparently, is not really interested in seeking out justice during this investigation.

It has become painfully obvious the only thing Mueller is really trying to do is get people to slip up during their testimony. Then he indicts them for giving false testimony.

Bob Woodward’s book “Fear,” even though it is a hit job on Trump, makes this exact point.

Mueller has been dying to get Trump to testify about a wide range of subjects in the hopes Trump goes off on a tangent about something he does not recall exactly.

This is what Mueller did to Michael Flynn and it is apparently what he wants to do to both Donald Trump and Donald Trump, Jr.

In the case of Donald Trump, Jr., this may also include the testimony he has already provided in regard to the meeting he had at Trump Tower with a Russian attorney during the campaign.

While relaxing in the sun on Christmas Day, Donald Trump, Jr.’s girlfriend sent a Christmas message in a bikini top — and liberals came out of the woodwork to attack her over it.
The Haters
After Guilfoyle sent out her post, it took just seconds for the haters to come out and rip her from head to toe over the picture.

Comments were made about her bikini.

Comments were made about Botox.

Comments were made about her body.

People were simply being nasty for the sake of being nasty — mostly because she is involved with a Trump family member.

What Happened to Civility?
We are constantly told that the Democrat Party and liberals are people of tolerance.

Indeed, they say they celebrate women and hold them up to the world rather than knock them down.

After all, they were the originators of the #MeToo movement, right?

But as is now painfully obvious, #MeToo is great — as long as it is taking down a Republican.

When someone accuses a Democrat of wrongdoing, the movement is put on hold and the character of that individual is then called into question.

Just ask Bill Clinton rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick about that.

Trump Jr.’s Christmas photos show him getting along with ex-wife Vanessa

The media would love to hear that Donald Trump, Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa are at each other’s throats over his new girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

They are not going to get their wish, though, as a picture Trump, Jr. sent out on Instagram over the Christmas holiday proves they are getting along just fine.

Still Friends
Trump, Jr. and Vanessa were married in 2005 and have five children together: Donald Trump III, Kai, Tristan, Chloe, and Spencer.

When they filed for divorce in March, both parties were adamant they were still friends.

Their marriage was ending, but they had every intention of raising their kids together and maintaining a friendship that had been built up over decades.

The media, for the most part, thought that was all window dressing so Trump, Jr. could protect his father from some type of family scandal.

At numerous “family” events, we have seen Vanessa make an appearance, always seeming to be in good spirits.

The pictures released by Trump, Jr. over Christmas continue to tell the story of a couple that although divorced, are still very much friends and still have the best interests of their children as their main priority.

Still Standing by His Side
One of the more stunning stories of the year regarding these two was when the media went after former Fox News star Kimberly Guilfoyle for dating Trump, Jr.

The “scandal,” as they called it, was because Guilfoyle was a prominent figure in the media.

How could her coverage possibly be neutral when it came to the President if she was involved with his son?

While Trump, Jr. was quick to point out many of the previous relationships between media and political personalities, many of them on the liberal side of the aisle, Vanessa came out very vocally to defend Guilfoyle.

After a scathing op-ed came out in the New York Daily News, Vanessa tweeted, “The lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she’s dating Don.”

She continued, “We’ve been separated for over 9 months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy. We’ll focus on raising our great kids. Would be nice if the press did the same rather than obsess over our pvt lives.”

At a time when it would be easy to throw daggers, one cannot help but respect Vanessa Trump’s class in both defending her ex as well as maintaining a positive relationship to ensure their children’s well-being.

Donald Trump, Jr. blasts tech companies for ‘pretty disgusting’ bias

Questions about bias in major tech companies have circled for years — but now, someone is finally calling them out on it.

Donald Trump Jr. blasted the bias of Silicone Valley tech companies last week, calling it “pretty disgusting” and insisting that there should be “consequences.”

Biased Platforms
Trump Jr. was headed out of Turning Point USA’s 2018 Student Action Summit when he was approached by Alana Mastrangelo of Breitbart regarding recent testimony by the CEO of Google.

Mastrangelo wanted Don Jr.’s opinion about the CEO’s inability to answer a question regarding Donald Trump and search results.

“What does it say about Google when the CEO, under oath, cannot answer for why when you Google image the word ‘idiot,’ photos of your father, the President of the United States, pops up?” she asked.

Trump Jr. stated the obvious: that these platforms have an obvious bias.

He further stated they are using that power to “influence people from a very young age.”

Ignoring the Problem
While the bias of these tech companies is indeed “disgusting,” it is more shocking that our elected officials have done little about it.

Liberals went absolutely berserk over Russians buying ads to try to influence the presidential election, but they’re by and large ignoring this problem.

Companies like Google are dictating the information available to anyone with an internet connection — and if we aren’t careful, the next generation of voters will have no chance of thinking reasonably about conservative and liberal ideals.

When the search results for “idiot” have the first three rows of results dominated by images of the president, what do you really expect these kids to think?

Trump Jr. is absolutely right in that there should be consequences for the actions of these tech giants.

They write the algorithms that return these results, and the bias could not be more obvious.

At the very least, our Justice Department owes it to the people of this country and its president to investigate this and punish these companies appropriately for their actions.
