REPORT: More than 500 Members of Migrant Caravan ‘Released’ in Downtown El Paso

Officials with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency released nearly 600 migrants in downtown El Paso over the Christmas holiday; notifying local non-profits and charities of the impending asylum seekers.

“One-hundred-eighty-six more migrants were released in downtown El Paso, Texas by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Christmas Day, reports the CBS affiliate there, KDBC-TV. That came after approximately 400 were released in the southwest Texas city in the two days before Christmas,” writes CBS News.

7-year-old girl dies in Border Patrol custody after dad allegedly lied about her health

The media is perpetrating yet another lie to the American people. After a 7-year-old girl died while in custody of the U.S. Border Patrol, the story was told in such a way that made it look as though it was the Border Patrol’s fault — but that was not the case.

Her father was transporting, but not feeding, his sick child, and subsequently failed to report her illness to authorities.

What Really Happened
The young girl and her father were part of a massive group of migrants who entered the United States illegally.

The spot where they entered the country had limited staff on duty to process the undocumented immigrants.

As agents were working their way through the group, the girl’s father was asked whether the girl had any medical needs they should know about.

His answer was no.

After hearing this, agents went on to follow protocol, which requires the processing of unaccompanied minors first.

Meanwhile, the man and his daughter waited for their hours-long ride to be processed.

All the while, the girl was sick and not being tended to — but the father didn’t do anything about it.

Tragedy Strikes
Once on the bus, the girl’s health significantly declined, so border agents called ahead for doctors to be ready to care for her.

But she suddenly stopped breathing during the ride, prompting agents to administer CPR.

They then called for air transportation to get her to the hospital.

She reportedly stopped breathing again, only to once again be resuscitated by the crew.

The little girl eventually succumbed to her illness.

Keep in mind, Trump had warned of public health concerns that could be caused by the migrant caravan.

And It Gets Worse…
Reports alleged that the girl died from liver failure and brain swelling, none of which was aided by her father’s failure to provide food and water.

While tragic, the death of this child was not on Border Patrol, but rather a father that was irresponsible on several fronts.

He is the one that decided to drag his daughter through the desert with no supplies.

He is the one that neglected to feed his daughter.

He is the one that neglected to tell authorities that his daughter was not feeling well.

This is the danger of people taking their children and trying to get into the country illegally.

This is something that could have been avoided completely if her father had followed the legal process to enter the U.S.

Headlines over the weekend blew up over the reported use of tear gas and rubber bullets against migrants who rushed the U.S.-Mexico border on Sunday, putting women and children at risk.

What they did not publicize, and something that has been confirmed by border patrol agents, is that caravan members appeared to push women and children to the front BEFORE they started throwing projectiles at agents.

Border agents’ account
San Diego Chief Border Patrol Agent Rodney Scott described the scenario to CNN:

What we saw over and over yesterday was that the group – the caravan, as we call them – would push women and children to the front and then begin, basically, rocking our agents.
“Several agents were actually struck by rocks,” he added.

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd gave a similar account, saying that “several” agents were hit by rocks.

“The way these people rushed the border was absolutely monstrous,” Judd told Fox News. “They pushed women and children up front and then behind those women and children, they started throwing rocks, cement bricks, they started throwing bottles at our Border Patrol agents. And so it became a very, very dangerous situation, not just for our agents, but it also became a dangerous situation for the public at large.”

Cowardly tactics
The strategy of the caravan definitely seems to be orchestrated in terms of optics.

What could be more disturbing than seeing U.S. law enforcement and military attacking women and children, right?

The individuals helping the caravan know this and are ensuring the worst optics possible are being displayed to hurt this administration.

Border agents cannot simply leave their posts because they are under attack.

They MUST defend the border or risk being overrun.

There is a long history of border agents defending themselves against undocumented immigrants attacking them with projectiles.

The standard procedure is to use non-lethal methods like tear gas and mace, then resort to more drastic measures if necessary.

In fact, these same tactics were deployed by the Obama administration dozens of times.

It is worth noting when that did happen under Obama, there were no outrageous headlines attacking him for doing so.

Bogus narrative
Once again, though, what the media is presenting is far different from what actually happened.

To believe the media, agents were specifically targeting women and children.

When the agents disbursed the gas, the wind carried the gas everywhere.

“We try to target specifically the instigators, specifically the person assaulting the agent, but as you saw from the video, once that chemical is released, it does go through the air,” Scott explained.

“I was in an area where I actually inhaled quite a bit of it yesterday as well,” he added. “That’s what’s going to happen in those situations.”

It is a fairly safe assumption that agents were doing everything they could to avoid hitting the women and children, but they have no control where the gas travels once it hits the air.

A breakthrough of more than 20,000 migrants preparing to cross the Bosnia-Croatia border and on to European Union (EU) nations is imminent, according to Austrian intelligence, which warns many are “armed”.
Migrant attempts to break into the EU have grown increasingly bold and forceful, with police and illegal immigrants injured in several clashes since the middle of October, when hundreds began camping at the border — reportedly after having been given misinformation that Croatia was set to open its frontiers.
According to Italian news agency ANSA, local media reports the groups send numbers of young people and children towards the police line to chant “open border, open border”, while clashes see mobs of young men charge at police, and throw stones and other projectiles.
“The Croats are trying really hard to handle this alone, and have even positioned special forces in the area”, but authorities in the Balkan nation are struggling to cope with worrying developments at the border, according to sources at the Austrian Interior Ministry reported by Austrian bestselling newspaper Kronen Zeitung.
“More [illegal immigrants] are arriving — there are no more families and there are hardly any women left,” sources at the ministry’s migration department are claimed to have said.

Migrant Caravan’ Stalls After Mexican Government Denies Buses

The ‘migrant caravan’ slowly making its way towards the United States’ southern border hit a major snag this week, with Mexican authorities refusing to bus the immigrants north; a request that would have drastically reduced the time needed to reach the US.
According to Fox News, “The leading migrant caravan trying to make its way to the United States border is admitting defeat after asking the Mexican government to provide dozens of buses to speed up the group’s journey northward.”

“The attempt to travel by bus failed,” an organizer behind the caravan told the Associated Press

The estimated number of migrants has dropped to 4,000 people after thousands applied for asylum in Mexico or returned to their country of origin.

“Of the friends that I have been with, all want to go back,” said a 28-year-old mother of three.

The leftist media are pushing the narrative that the thousands of migrants from Central America and elsewhere are just people fleeing violence in their homeland, but during an interview with National Public Radio on Monday, Geronimo Gutierrez, the Mexican ambassador to the U.S., described some of them as “very violent.”
“I want to begin with the facts here,” Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep said. “Seven thousand or so people, which is a lot of people – looks like a lot on TV.”
“But I do know it’s part of this much larger, somewhat ordinary flow of migrants,” Inskeep said. “So how serious a situation is this in the view of your government?”

President Donald Trump issued another warning on Monday to migrants in the caravan traveling through Mexico, telling them they would not be allowed into the United States.
“This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!” Trump warned on Twitter.
Trump commented after the Pentagon revealed that up to 5,000 active duty troops would be deployed to the Southern border to stop the caravan, now estimated to include 7,000 people from various South American countries.
“Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border,” Trump wrote.
He urged the migrants in the caravan to return to their home countries and apply for legal entry into the United States.

Organizers of Central American migrant caravan linked to infamous billionaire George Soros

Many have suggested that the caravan cutting across Mexico and approaching the U.S. southern border was organized by liberals — but now, these mere speculations look to be more like fact.

Some digging has proven that caravan organizers are directly linked to George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

Long Time Coming
Anyone who thinks that this caravan was a spur of the moment thing is simply being foolish.

This was clearly organized quite some time in advance and specifically targeted to coincide with our upcoming midterm elections.

The group believed to be behind the caravan was actually touting the migrant group more than a month before the actual caravan started its journey.

Soros Ties
Now, pay attention, because this connection is purposely layered to hide Soros’ involvement.

Pueblo Sin Fronteras is the group credited with organizing the caravan.

This group is an offshoot of a Chicago, IL illegal immigration advocacy group, La Familia Latina Unida (LFLU), which is a part of the CARA Coalition.

The CARA Coalition is funded by several liberal foundations, including Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

Jihadis among the migrant caravan is not as ridiculous as CNN would have you believe. My latest in FrontPage: 

CNN on Monday once again posed as the intrepid and impartial fact checker, correcting the falsehoods spread by our ridiculous and hateful President, with the headline: “Trump seizes on right-wing media reports to suggest migrant caravan has been infiltrated by ‘unknown Middle Easterners.’” And as usual, the President is in reality far closer to the mark than CNN ever is. CNN has once again proven itself to be, as Trump has so aptly and indelibly put it, very fake news.

CNN noted that “In a tweet, the President warned that ‘criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in’ the caravan of thousands of Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence.” Note CNN’s thumb on the scale in its framing of the story: the hordes advancing toward the border are “Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence,” not “A large cadre of military-age males being transported to the American border to flout immigration laws and create provocations designed to discredit Trump before the midterm elections.”

After that bit of legerdemain, CNN informs the Leftist marks who still take it seriously that Trump is, as expected, all wrong and going off half-cocked yet again: “The President did not support his claim with any evidence. Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, told reporters on Monday afternoon that Trump ‘absolutely’ had evidence to indicate there are Middle Easterners in the caravan. Sanders, however, did not provide specific information on the matter and it was still not clear what evidence Trump had to indicate the presence of such individuals in the caravan.”

The evidence is actually abundantly clear; CNN just doesn’t want you to know it exists. The Daily Caller reported Monday that Univision correspondent Francisco Santa Anna stated: “Yesterday when we were traveling through Guatemala, we noticed people from El Salvador and even people from Bangladesh. Can you imagine what they had to do to get here? They infiltrated themselves in this caravan and tried to cross with the crowd. That would have benefited them greatly.”

What’s more, Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales stated last Thursday that his security forces had caught “close to 100 people completely linked to terrorist issues, with ISIS and that not only have we arrested them within our territory, but they have been deported to their countries of origin.” Guatemala’s Secretary of Strategic Intelligence, Mario Duarte, confirmed that “the individuals intercepted, detained, prosecuted or returned to their country of origin, is close to 100.” He referred to “several citizens of Syrian origin who were detained with false documents were detained, for which they were prosecuted and subjected to criminal proceedings,” and then deported in 2016.

The establishment media has made a great deal of the fact that Morales did not say that Guatemalan authorities had caught 100 Islamic State jihadis among the throngs approaching the U.S. border now. However, this is a distinction without a difference. If Islamic State jihadis could enter Guatemala previously, they can do it again, and they may have joined this caravan.

Denis Omar Contreras, a leader of this latest march to the border, summarily dismissed this possibility: “There isn’t a single terrorist here.” Claiming that everyone on the way to the United States was from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua, he added: “As far as I know there are no terrorists in these four countries, at least beyond the corrupt governments.”

As far as he knows. But how can Denis Omar Contreras be sure? Is there something that would make it impossible for jihadis to infiltrate this migrant group? We do know that jihadis have many times attempted to enter the United States by way of the Southern border. Here are just a few news stories from the last few years, related to such efforts:

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has presented a rather interesting explanation for the mysterious bombs mailed to several high-profile Democrats this week.

Limbaugh thinks the packages may have been “false flags” sent by liberals to give fodder for Dems as voters head to the booths in two weeks.

Not So Crazy…
I know, I know — it’s just a conspiracy theory, right?

Not so fast.

Limbaugh makes a very strong case as to why this is such a strong possibility.

First and foremost, terrorism is a weapon to be used when a side is losing — not winning.

When one looks at the targets of these bombs, it is quite clear these are all people or organizations that have for the most part become irrelevant.

Hillary Clinton, while still working the circuit, has lost significant credibility and clout in the political world.

She may still garner some significant speaking fees, but as far as being a threat to the presidency, nobody is worried about her anymore.

Barack Obama has also made himself irrelevant by making outlandish claims that everything good that is happening under President Donald Trump should actually be attributed to him.

Obama is trying to rally voters using this exact angle, but the truth is: the economy was stagnant and unemployment ran out of control on his watch.

Only after Trump won the presidency did consumer confidence start to rise.

Likewise, after the GOP tax cuts were made, we saw significant movement in the jobs sector — which had nothing to do with Obama.

And CNN, well, do we really need to say anything about the biggest fake news outlet in the mainstream media?

No Purpose
As Limbaugh points out, these attacks simply serve no purpose for conservatives.

The only outcome of this is for liberals to blame Trump and place the blame on an extremist.

While these bombs may very well have been created by an out-of-control extremist on the right, Limbaugh’s explanation a lot of sense.

And, for the record, this would not be the first time liberal extremists went down this road.

We saw several instances during the 2016 campaign season where liberals created similar scenarios to make conservatives look bad.

President Donald Trump has been adamant that he does not want the members of the Central American migrant caravan entering our country due to the “element” that lurks within it.

Recently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed his concerns, stating there are “individuals within the caravan who are gang members or have significant criminal histories.”

National Security Issue
While liberals around the globe all want the entire caravan to cross over the U.S. border, our president has not exactly sent out a welcome mat — and for good reason.

Trump, along with most people that have common sense, believe there will be criminals mixed in with those actually hoping for a better life.

There may even be terrorists hoping to infiltrate our country and carry out nefarious plans.

That being the case, there simply is no way we can allow this group of over 7,000 people to enter our country.

Sadly, we have yet to hear any condemnation by Democrats over the security issues of the caravan.

Rather than worry about protecting the United States and its citizens, they are leaving it up to the Republicans to play the bad guys here.

Politically Motivated
The timing of the caravan could not be more suspect.

Considering that midterm elections are just two weeks away, it is rather convenient that one of the most hotly debated topics of this administration is being thrust into the headlines again.

Not so shockingly, our own vice president stated that the president of Honduras reached out to let him know there were left-wing groups in Venezuela that were actually financing the caravan.

If those reports are actually true, Democrats will be upset to know the stunt is starting to backfire against them.

Citizens on both sides of the aisle are sick and tired of our immigration laws being violated without repercussion.

There has been a lot of speculation about the financing of the migrant caravan making its way to the United States.
Now, there is evidence that George Soros may be tied to the group — and even U.S. taxpayer monies may have been used to offer aid to the caravan.

If you look at the bottom set of pictures in that tweet, one of the members of the caravan is carrying a yellow bag marked USAID.

USAID describes itself as “the world’s premier international development agency and a catalytic actor driving development results.”

The organization, of course, is funded with our tax dollars.

The Soros connection comes in via support for left-wing groups overseas that are tied directly to the billionaire himself.

USAID has reportedly sent more than $500 million to the countries where the members of the caravan originated.

You can surely see where this is going.

Organized
A second factor that makes the rumors that this caravan is politically motivated seem true is how organized much of the demonstrations by migrants have been.

The pictures taken showing the journey of the caravan have been speculated to have been taken with very high-end equipment.

Furthermore, many of the scenes and protests occurring during the caravan’s journey appear to be very well-rehearsed and staged for the cameras.

This, of course, has led to more than a little speculation the caravan’s motives are, in fact, politically charged.

If this true, it is time for Soros to be held accountable for his actions against the United States.

Migrants traveling with the 7,000-strong caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border to overwhelm the country’s asylum and immigration system are admitting that they are merely foreign workers looking for jobs.
Migrants with the caravan — many of whom are previously deported illegal aliens — recently admitted to the Washington Post in interviews that they are economic migrants, not asylum-seekers.
Evin Mata, a 21-year-old previously deported illegal alien, told the Post that his travels with the caravan to the southern border are about getting a U.S. job, which is not an eligible claim for asylum.
“We are workers,” Mata said. “What are we supposed to do in Honduras if there’s no work?”
Another previously deported illegal alien with the migrant caravan, Job Reyes, told the Post that his looking to get back into the U.S. — like Mata’s — was about securing a job, not asylum.
“I don’t know what they expect about us,” Reyes said. “But basically what we want is to have a better opportunity, to have a job, you know?”

Migrants with the caravan interviewed by NBC News similarly admitted that their goal in marching through the country’s southern border was to look for jobs, as Breitbart News reported.

Citing his team’s reporting from Guatemala, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said Tuesday there’s evidence that the migrant “caravan” headed to the United States is comprised mostly of military-aged males and was financed by Americans.


Fitton, in a tweet, said he wants President Trump to launch a criminal investigation.

Investigative reporter Sara Carter, who is in Guatemala, agreed, saying she found it’s mostly men crossing the Guatemalan border, and they are giving a rehearsed answer: “This is not politics – this is about poverty.”

“There were women and children but they were at the front of the caravan (smaller numbers). None would say who the organizers are but several said it was organized,” she tweeted Tuesday.

Carter, noted the Gateway Pundit, met with the Guatemalan Minister of Defense on Tuesday.

“Based on the interviews I’ve conducted so far – along with Judicial Watch investigations – the U.S. needs to investigate the funding that was used by NGOs, as well as other groups to organize the caravans,” Carter wrote.

Judicial Watch said Tuesday that besides “gang members and mobs of young angry men,” the caravan also consists of Africans, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans and Indians.

Judicial Watch said its team embedded with the caravan has observed that “the popular mainstream media narrative of desperate migrants – many of them women and children – seeking a better life is “hardly accurate.”

Migrants in the caravan have said their intent is to seek political asylum in the United States. Asylum seekers are required to demonstrate they have a reasonable fear of future persecution on account of race, religion, national origin, political opinion or membership in a social group.


Guatemalan intelligence officials, according to Judicial Watch, confirmed that the caravan that originated in the northern Honduran city of San Pedro Sula includes Special Interest Aliens, or SIA, from other continents as well as other criminal elements and gang members.

“There are also large groups of men, some with criminal histories, aggressively demanding that the U.S. take them in,” Judicial Watch said.

‘We’re coming Trump’

The organization said that during a visit to the Guatemalan town of Chiquimula, about 35 miles from the Honduran border, its team encountered a “rowdy group” of about 600 men, ages 17 to about 40, marching north on a narrow two-lane highway.

Among them was a 40-year-old Honduran man who previously lived in the United States for decades and was deported. Another man in his 30s contradicted media reports that caravan participants are fleeing violence and fear for their life.

“We’re not scared,” he said waving his index finger as others around him nodded in agreement. “We’re going to the United States to get jobs.”

Others chanted “vamos para allá Trump!” – “We’re coming Trump” – as they clenched their fists in the air.

“We need money and food,” said a 29-year-old man who made the trek with his 21-year-old brother.

Judicial Watch said that all of the migrants it interviewed repeated the same rehearsed line when asked who organized the caravan.

They insisted it was a spontaneous event, Judicial Watch said, “even though there were clearly organizers shouting instructions in Spanish and putting select persons in front of cameras for interviews.”

A few claimed they heard about it on local news in Honduras. All said the caravan was not about politics but rather poverty.


“I just want to get back to the U.S.,” said a 32-year-old man who admitted he has been deported from the U.S. twice. “We are all just looking for work.”

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, a conservative, said the left is seeking to destabilize his country by manipulating migrants.

Women and children are being used without regard to the risks to their lives, the president said.

“The irregular mobilization was organized for political reasons to negatively affect the governance and image of Honduras and to destabilize the peace of neighboring countries,” Hernández said.

He said many who joined the caravan have returned to Honduras after realizing they had been fooled.

Guatemalan officials said 1,700 migrants have been returned to Honduras on buses. Government sources said first wave of migrants totaled about 4,000. A second, less organized, group of about 2,000 then set out for the U.S.

Guatemalan Secretary of Strategic Intelligence Mario Duarte said his country needs help to stop the human caravans.

“There are only so many resources we can dedicate to this.”

He said Guatemalans are getting robbed and crimes are being committed by the people in the caravan.
