The increase, which is meant to be permanent, hikes food stamp stipends by more than 20% from their pre-pandemic levels and affects every single one of the program's 42 million beneficiaries, the New York Times first reported.

"The move does not require congressional approval, and unlike the large pandemic-era expansions, which are starting to expire, the changes are intended to last," the Times added in its report.

The SNAP program, designed to provide food assistance to low-income families and individuals, has been steadily growing since its inception in 1974. It now feeds about 1 in 8 Americans.

In a news release, the U.S. Department of Agriculture explained that as a part of the revamped Thrifty Food Plan, beneficiaries will receive an additional $36 a month. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the monthly stipend was $121.


Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack described the increase as an investment in the future.

"A modernized Thrifty Food Plan is more than a commitment to good nutrition — it's an investment in our nation's health, economy, and security," Vilsack said. "Ensuring low-income families have access to a healthy diet helps prevent disease, supports children in the classroom, reduces health care costs, and more."

In conversation with the Times a week earlier, Vilsack added that the food stamp safety net helps "stabilize our democracy."

"We may have a Constitution and a Declaration of Independence, but if we had 42 million Americans who were going hungry, really hungry, they wouldn't be happy and there would be political instability," he explained.

The USDA changes come as a result of the 2018 Farm Bill and President Biden's COVID-19 relief executive order issued Jan. 22. In the order, Biden called for the program to be expanded and the nutrition plan to be revised in order to accurately account for "the true cost of a basic healthy diet."


"To set SNAP families up for success, we need a Thrifty Food Plan that supports current dietary guidance on a budget," Stacy Dean, deputy undersecretary for food, nutrition, and consumer services, noted in the news release. "Too many of our fellow Americans struggle to afford healthy meals. The revised plan is one step toward getting them the support they need to feed their families."

According to the Times, critics of the plan argue that an increase isn't needed since the program is designed to cover only part of the beneficiary's monthly grocery bill, not all of it.

They also argue that the monthly stipend would go a lot further if beneficiaries spent it on nutritious foods rather than unhealthy snacks. USDA data shows that 10% of SNAP program stipend money is spent on sugary drinks.

Not only is President Joe Biden being mocked for his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal in the homeland, but international allies are also targeting Biden after witnessing the swift victory of emboldened Taliban terrorists.
What are the details?
In what is being described as worse than America's humiliating evacuation from Saigon in 1975, the haphazard Afghanistan withdrawal is eroding the confidence of international allies that his administration is capable of fulfilling his foreign policy promises.



British MP Tobias Ellwood, chairman of the Defense Committee in the British Parliament, mocked Biden's "America is back" foreign policy.

"Whatever happened to 'America is back'?" Ellwood told the Washington Post.

"People are bewildered that after two decades of this big, high-tech power intervening, they are withdrawing and effectively handing the country back to the people we went in to defeat," Ellwood added. "This is the irony. How can you say America is back when we're being defeated by an insurgency armed with no more than [rocket-propelled grenades], land mines and AK-47s?"


Riad Kahwaji, whom the Post described as "the Inegma security consultancy in the United Arab Emirates, which hosts one of the biggest American military contingents in the Middle East," told the newspaper that Biden's withdrawal "is raising alarm bells everywhere."

"The U.S.'s credibility as an ally has been in question for a while," Kahwaji said. "We see Russia fighting all the way to protect the Assad regime [in Syria], and now the Americans are pulling out and leaving a big chaos in Afghanistan."

Meanwhile, Cathryn Clüver Ashbrook, director of the German Council on Foreign Relations, told the Post that German lawmakers are furious with the decision of Biden's administration.

"The Biden administration came to office promising an open exchange, a transparent exchange with its allies. They said the transatlantic relationship would be pivotal," Clüver Ashbrook said. "As it is, they're playing lip service to the transatlantic relationship and still believe European allies should fall into line with U.S. priorities."

Anything else?
Biden has attempted to defect blame for the disastrous withdrawal on his predecessor, former President Donald Trump. But those attempts ring hallow.


While it is true that Trump initiated the Afghanistan withdrawal, the withdrawal strategy falls squarely on Biden's shoulders. In fact, Biden was confidently telling reporters just last month the Taliban would not retake control of Afghanistan, denying comparisons to Vietnam.

However, as the Wall Street Journal editorial board pointed out, Biden has overturned countless Trump-era policies. Why is Biden's administration now claiming that Trump's May 1 withdrawal deadline is one they could not overturn, too?

Note that Mr. Biden is more critical of his predecessor than he is of the Taliban. The President has spent seven months ostentatiously overturning one Trump policy after another on foreign and domestic policy. Yet he now claims Afghanistan policy is the one he could do nothing about. This is a pathetic denial of his own agency, and it's also a false choice. It's as if Winston Churchill, with his troops surrounded at Dunkirk, had declared that Neville Chamberlain got him into this mess and the British had already fought too many wars on the Continent.
Biden, in fact, reportedly ignored top military commanders, who recommended retaining a nominal American force in Afghanistan to help maintain security and facilitate a transfer of security responsibilities.

Instead being motivating by the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Biden approved the immediate full withdrawal of U.S. forces, a disastrous plan whose consequences are being laid bare as the world watches.

The Afghans are facing possibly the world's most brutal army of radical Muslims, now installed in Kabul, and armed with what US President Joe Biden said were "all the tools... and equipment of any modern military. We provided advanced weaponry," which the Taliban has captured from the disintegrating Afghan National Army.

President Biden has, in fact, bestowed "advanced weaponry," courtesy of US taxpayers, not only on the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and ISIS, but also on Russia, China and Iran, who will doubtless now reverse-engineer the abandoned materiel.

The Afghans have good reasons to flee their own country by the millions. Iran is their typical first stop.

Once in Iran, they are given easy and safe passage to Turkey -- that is Iran's gift to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Turkey is already home to nearly five million migrants. The arrival, over years, of another five million would paralyze Turkey, its economy, politics and relative safety. But Afghan migrants will not be only Turkey's problem.

In 2020, Erdoğan threatened to flood EU countries with millions of Syrians.... The real number was just a couple of thousand. Erdoğan's bluff had failed. Since then, he has not tried another Turkish government-sponsored migrant dump onto Greek territory.

If the Greek and EU border agencies do not want to relive the 2015 migrant crisis, they should review their blueprints to protect Greek territory from migrants and get ready for another inflow this year.


The first 10 years of Syria's civil war created 6.5 million asylum-seeking migrants from a population of 22 million. Afghanistan's population is 75% larger than Syria's at the start of its war. Afghans have good reasons to flee their country by the millions. Iran is their typical first stop, and from there they are given easy and safe passage to Turkey. Locals in Istanbul were recently shocked to see hordes of young Afghan men in worn out uniforms, strolling aimlessly down neighborhoods that were already home to thousands of Syrian refugees. Later, Turkish police detained and expelled nine of the men. Hundreds of others are communicating with their relatives and friends in Afghanistan and Iran and most likely updating them on the illegal migration routes into Turkey -- Afghans would typically pay smugglers $1,000 for the trip from Kabul to Van in eastern Turkey. With the victory of the Taliban and the collapse of the Afghan government, hundreds of thousands may be crossing via Iran into eastern Turkey, finally seeking the least dangerous (and least costly) route into European Union soil.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

President Joseph R. Biden Jr. recently announced his determination to use his powers as the chief executive of the federal government to infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms. This is a profound violation of his oath to uphold the Constitution.
It also perpetuates an attitude about the Second Amendment that was prevalent in state and federal officeholders in both major political parties from the FDR to the George W. Bush eras. That attitude was based on a misreading of the Second Amendment, which characterized the right to own a gun as a collective and not an individual, personal right. In 2008, the Supreme Court corrected that misreading.
Here is the backstory.
In the mid-1930s, Jack Miller reduced the size of his shotgun by three inches and transported it in his automobile from Oklahoma to Arkansas. The FBI got wind of his travels and stopped his car and searched it. When they saw Miller’s sawed-off shotgun, they arrested him and charged him with violating a 1934 federal statute that prohibited the transportation of shotguns across state lines with a barrel below certain lengths. The shotgun was lawful in Oklahoma and Arkansas. The offense consisted only in its interstate transportation.

Miller acknowledged having done what the government accused him of doing, but he challenged the constitutionality of the statute under which he was indicted. A federal trial judge in Arkansas agreed with Miller and invalidated the portion of the 1934 federal statute that prohibited transporting otherwise legal weapons from one state to another. The judge ruled that Congress had infringed upon Miller’s individual right to keep and bear his lawfully owned sawed-off shotgun.

The feds appealed this decision directly to the Supreme Court. By the time the lawyers’ briefs were due at the court, Miller himself was nowhere to be found and the lawyer who represented him in Arkansas was no longer on the case.

So, the Supreme Court, with only the brief of the federal government in hand and only federal prosecutors present at oral argument, unanimously ruled in 1939 that the statute was constitutional because the Second Amendment protected only the collective rights of state militias to keep and bear arms — not the rights of individual persons to do so. Since Miller’s weapon was not state-issued and since Miller was not in any state militia, the feds — and the states for that matter — were free to regulate and infringe upon this right.

This dreadful decision of one-sided origin opened the floodgates for Congress and state legislatures to enact all sorts of regulations of firearms, both rifles and handguns. The decision gave carte blanche to all levels of government to enact any anti-Second Amendment regulations for which there was political support, so long as the regulations did not interfere with state militias — today the National Guard.

There the law stood while the states and the feds enacted infringement upon infringement — including one championed by then-Sen. Joe Biden — with abandon.

Then, in the early 2000s, Dick Anthony Heller, a Washington, D.C., police officer who was authorized to carry his service revolver in public while on duty, applied for a permit to purchase and carry a privately owned handgun in his home for self-protection. The District of Columbia licensing authorities denied Heller’s request because D.C. law prohibited handguns in homes. Heller sued in federal court arguing that he had a personal right to own and carry a handgun in his home.

In a landmark 2008 decision, written by the late Justice Antonin Scalia, the court reversed the Miller case. Scalia wrote that the right protected by the Second Amendment is the ancient personal right to self-defense. Just as you have the right to punch someone in the nose who has punched you or is about to do so, you have the right, the court ruled, to protect yourself and your home using the same means as your potential attackers.

The court was not afraid of addressing our history, and it recognized that the United States was born in a bloody revolution in which the original 13 colonies fought a war to secede from Great Britain. Thus, the court held that the framers of the Second Amendment recognized that a second ancient purpose served by this right is resistance to tyrants when they take over the government.

The court called the origin of this right “pre-political.” That is a secular phrase for a natural right. Whatever one wishes to call it, the right does not originate with the government. Like all rights protected in the Bill of Rights, the Second Amendment offers a negative right. The amendment does not grant the right to keep and bear arms; rather, it negates the government from infringing upon this right that has existed in all adults — predating the government.

The law today is not what it was when Joe Biden came of age. Today, the right to keep and bear arms is recognized unambiguously as a personal, fundamental, pre-political, natural right.

This is not academic hairsplitting. If a right is personal or fundamental or pre-political or natural, then the government — state or federal — may not interfere with it absent due process. Stated differently, the government cannot constitutionally interfere with gun ownership by executive order or even legislation. It can only do so if the owner of the gun has used it to harm someone else, and then only after a fair jury trial.

Scalia also offered a practical observation: Can the government argue with a straight face that its armed police can protect us better than we can protect ourselves when armed? The answer is obvious.

Why is the Biden Administration Pushing Ukraine to Attack Russia?

On March 24th, Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky signed what was essentially a declaration of war on Russia. In the document, titled Presidential Decree No. 117/2021, the US-backed Ukrainian leader declared that it is the official policy of Ukraine to take back Crimea from Russia.

The declaration that Ukraine would take back Crimea from Russia also followed, and was perhaps instigated by, President Biden’s inflammatory and foolish statement that “Crimea is Ukraine.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was a chief architect of the US-backed coup against Ukraine in 2014, continued egging on the Ukrainians, promising full US support for the “territorial integrity” of Ukraine. Many Americans wonder why they are not even half as concerned about the territorial integrity of the United States!

Not to be outdone, at the beginning of this month US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin – who previously served on the board of missile-maker Raytheon – called his counterpart in Ukraine and promised “unwavering US support for Ukraine’s sovereignty.” As the US considers Crimea to be Ukrainian territory, this is clearly a clear green light for Kiev to take military action.

Washington is also sending in weapons. Some 300 tons of new weapons have arrived in the past weeks and more is on the way.

As could be expected, Moscow has responded to Zelensky’s decree and to the increasingly bellicose rhetoric in Kiev and Washington by re-positioning troops and other military assets closer to its border with Ukraine. Does anyone doubt that if the US were in the same situation – for example, if China installed a hostile and aggressive government in Mexico – the Pentagon might move troops in a similar manner?

But according to the media branch of the US military-industrial-Congressional-media complex, Russian troop movements are not a response to clear threats from a neighbor, but instead are just more “Russian aggression.”

The unhinged US “experts” behind the 2014 coup against the elected Ukrainian president are back in power and they are determined to finish the job – even if it means World War III! The explicit US backing of Ukraine’s military ambitions in the region are a blank check to Kiev.

But it is a check that Kiev would be wise to avoid cashing. Back in 1956 the US government pumped endless propaganda into Hungary promising military backing for an uprising against its Soviet occupiers. When the Hungarians, believing Washington’s lies, did rise up they found themselves all alone and facing Soviet retaliation.

Despite the cruel US propaganda, at least Eisenhower was wise enough to realize that no one would benefit from a nuclear war over Budapest.

Why is it any of our business whether Crimea is part of Ukraine or part of Russia? Why is it any of our business if the Russian-speaking population of eastern Ukraine prefer being aligned with Russia?

Why, for that matter, are unproven allegations of Russian meddling in our elections a violation of the “rules-based international order” but an actual US-backed coup against an elected Ukrainian government is not?

We are seeing foreign policy made by Raytheon and the other US military contractors, through cut-outs in government like Austin and others. Feckless US foreign policy “experts” believe their own propaganda about Russia and are on the verge of taking us to war over it.

It seems as if Americans are sleepwalking through this dangerous minefield. Let us hope they soon wake up before we’re all blown up.

New emails heighten mystery around presidential vote count in Georgia’s largest county
Media were told ballot-counting had stopped; sworn testimony says counters were dismissed.

Internal emails from Fulton County election workers obtained by Just the News are heightening the mystery surrounding ballot-processing in Georgia’s largest county during last November’s presidential contest.

Uncertainty arose regarding the ballot processing operation at Fulton County’s State Farm Arena on and after Election Night, when ballot-scanning apparently continued even after most election workers had reportedly been sent home.

Two separate sworn affidavits from Election Night poll workers claimed that, at roughly 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, an official directed workers to stop working and to return the next day at 8:30 a.m.

Nearly half a dozen local and national media outlets, meanwhile, reported being told that absentee ballot-counting had ceased at around 10:30 p.m. and would resume the next day. Several reports cited county spokeswoman Regina Waller for that information.
Counting at the State Farm Arena, however, continued past 10:30 p.m. after most staffers had left. In December, Waller told Just the News that, contrary to the numerous media reports, she had “stated to all media … that although several workers were released to go home, a small team remained behind to assist with scanning ballots.”

It is unclear why no media outlets appear to have mentioned that fact.

In the emails obtained this weekend by Just the News through an open records request, Waller appears to indicate that the ballot-counting team had dispersed by around 10:30 p.m. 

In the email, timestamped at 10:22 p.m. on Nov. 3 and addressed to several county officials as well as State Farm Arena spokesman Garin Narain, Waller wrote: “The workers in the Absentee Ballot Processing area will get started again at 8 am tomorrow.” Waller goes on to request arrangements for news crews hoping to get live shots of the counting the following day.

Reached for comment via email, Waller said the email “was in response to a question received asking when all workers would return.” She did not respond to a request to see the original email to which she was responding.

Another email obtained by Just the News, meanwhile, also points to more uncertainty regarding the timetable of ballot-counting on Election Night.

In a message sent at 11:15 p.m. that night, Fulton County Interagency Affairs Manager Fran Phillips-Calhoun wrote to Waller and several other county staffers: “FYI – [the Secretary of State’s office] just sort of threw the team under the bus stating that ‘we had a great day, but we decided to throw in the towel for the night even though the public is waiting…’ on results.”

Phillips-Calhoun did not specify what message from the Secretary of State’s office she was referring to. The county worker did not respond to requests for comment.

In addition to the unclear messaging coming from Fulton County officials on Election Night, the process that played out at State Farm Arena was further complicated by two sworn affidavits from ballot watchers whose testimonies, given under penalty of perjury, appear to confirm at least some controversial aspects of the news reports from that night.

The Biden administration was "rewarding Iranian despotism while punishing Saudi Arabia." — Emad El Din Adeeb, a prominent Egyptian businessman and famous political television show host, elsharkonline com, March 3, 2021.

The Biden administration was dealing harshly with Riyadh "because of one crime, the killing of Khashoggi, while rehabilitating Tehran, which has carried out a million crimes worse than Khashoggi's crime." — Emad El Din Adeeb, al-ain.com, March 3, 2021.

Adeeb pointed out that Iran was continuing with its human rights violations while Saudi Arabia has in recent years embarked on large-scale reforms.

According to al-Sawafi, the release of the report on the slain Saudi journalist was a sign that the Biden administration "stands against the aspirations of the Saudi and Gulf people in achieving reform and stability.

"Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was right when he asserted that the Iranian regime understands only the language of force." — Zuhair Al-Harthi, Saudi columnist and political activist, Al-Arabiya, February 27, 2021.

The last three years of the Obama presidency were "catastrophic in every sense of this word," al-Harthi said. "Will Biden fall into the same trap? Washington's standing declined during the Obama presidency. Will Biden repeat Obama's fatal mistakes? The US dealings at the time with regional issues were a source of ridicule, as Washington delivered Iraq and Afghanistan on a golden platter to Iran and supported the Muslim Brotherhood." — Zuhair Al-Harthi, Al-Arabiya, February 27, 2021.

In a series of articles published after the release of the US intelligence report on the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, many Arab analysts and columnists have warned that the Biden administration was harming US interests in the Middle East.

Some said they saw the decision to release the report as a kind of sequel to the Obama administration's failed policy of meddling in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

He noted that the Saudi authorities had already punished those involved in the 2018 murder of Khashoggi inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The Biden administration, some Arab writers have said, "has adopted a policy of "antagonizing allies while appeasing enemies."

Who exactly is the Palestinian Authority leadership lying to and why?

Hamas issued a statement on February 25 in which it denied that the group had changed its attitude toward Israel. "Our political and national positions are well known and clear," Hamas said. "They are expressed in our official documents and publications. We remain committed to the resistance until the liberation [of all of Palestine]."

Hamas "will pursue its resistance program until the liberation of the Palestinian land, from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea." — Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas leader, alalamtv.net, February 20, 2021.

The Palestinian terror groups certainly deserve credit for being upfront about their true, lethal intentions toward Israel. Unlike the PA leadership, these terror organizations speak in a single and straightforward voice. Their message in Arabic and English is clear: we will spill as much Jewish blood as it takes to rid "Palestine" of the Jews.

Abbas is seeking to fool the Biden administration into believing that he has managed to persuade the terror groups to transform themselves into peace-seeking organizations. Abbas is utterly desperate for US funding. He is lying through his teeth to get the Biden administration to resume pumping cash into his regime -- which is bankrupt in every possible sense of the word.

It now remains to be seen whether the Biden administration will allow itself to be hoodwinked by the PA's master magician.

This raises the question: Who exactly is the PA leadership lying to and why?

The Democrats blamed Trump for everything possible with immigration. Now the rumor is that anyone in the USA under Biden will simply be granted citizenship. What is going on now is the problem of unaccompanied children crossing the border has exceeded all-time highs. Border Patrol agents are now reporting a dramatic surge in the numbers of kids younger than 13 arriving each month from Central America. They have warned, according to RELIABLE SOURCES, that they are expecting 13,000 unaccompanied children crossing the border per month. So all the rhetoric against Trump, the Democrats have successfully created a complete crisis in the massive wave of unaccompanied children moving to the USA, and then they have to be taken care of.
Biden has achieved the crisis in immigration he deserves. They have done nothing but opposed whatever Trump did regardless of the evidence or logic. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made a huge deal out of Trump keeping “kids in cages.” But now they’re doing the same thing and reversing policies that were reducing the problem. There are so many people flooding into the USA, Biden is now directing internment camps to be set up with tents in Texas.

The Biden administration has instructed Department of Homeland Security officials to use more "inclusive language" to describe people residing in the country illegally, such as dropping the word "alien" and replacing it with "noncitizen," according to a memo recently issued by immigration authorities.

The changes are reportedly part of an effort by the Biden administration to portray itself as more welcoming on immigration than the previous administration under President Trump, which would use terms such as "illegal aliens" to describe people who bypassed U.S. laws and security perimeters to enter and remain in the country.

According to Axios, an email sent Tuesday to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials described how the agency's acting director, Tracy Renaud, had signed a memo encouraging "more inclusive language in the agency's outreach efforts, internal documents and in overall communication with stakeholders, partners and the general public."

The memo, obtained by BuzzFeed News, instructed officials to stop referring to people as "illegal alien," "alien," or "undocumented alien" in internal and external communications, but instead use the terms "noncitizen," "undocumented noncitizen," or "undocumented individual."


It also urged USCIS officials to discontinue their use of the term "assimilation" in exchange for "integration" and begin referring to those who apply for benefits like green cards as "customers," BuzzFeed reported. USCIS is a subsidiary agency which operates within the DHS.

What else?
Interestingly, besides planned use in the agency's internal communications and any communications it has with the public, the wording changes are not set to affect forms or operational documents where using the previous terminology is deemed most appropriate.That fact indicates the changes are nothing more than a messaging makeover.

Though, by continuing to soften language associated with illegal immigration, the administration undoubtedly hopes to move public opinion on the matter toward greater acceptance of illegal entry and favor for open borders.

The words being replaced in the agency's messaging are in fact the most accurate technical terms to describe issues at hand. Even BuzzFeed acknowledges that the term "alien" is routinely found within U.S. Code and is "regularly referenced in the immigration system and in court rulings to describe everyone who is not a US citizen."

Speaking with Axios, Robert Law, a former Trump administration official who now works at the Center for Immigration Studies, noted, "By statute, 'alien' literally means a person not a U.S. citizen or national."

"That is not offensive, and neither is 'assimilation,'" he said.

The United States of America has had two dominant parties for more than a century. The idea of a third party comes up every now and then, and it usually indeed makes a great impact – but for a limited time. Ross Perot entered the race in 1992 and basically helped pave the way for Bill Clinton’s victory. Of course, the economic downturn right before the elections did not help George H. Bush either. But Bill Clinton also understood well that in order to get elected and stay popular, he would have to harness the radical side of the Democratic Party from becoming too influential. He also got the message in 1994 when the Republicans swept into control of Congress. If a Joe Biden and Kamala Harris led United States venture too far off the middle, 2022 may be a big year for the Republicans, whether or not Donald Trump plays a central role in the Republican Party.

On the Republican side, they cannot simply dismiss the fact that Donald Trump brought in hundreds of thousands of new supporters who he excited in an unprecedented fashion. These are valuable supporters, not only rioters who attacked the Capitol. But the middle usually is the key to winning elections. Whoever runs for the Republican leadership in 2024 will have to do battle with whomever Donald Trump supports, and perhaps with Trump himself. It will be an interesting few years…

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that an arrest has been made for election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot. Each of these charges is a felony under the Texas Election Code.

The Election Fraud Division of the Office of the Attorney General reviewed dozens of hours of unedited, raw footage, which led to the arrest of Rachel Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was featured in an undercover video released by Project Veritas just before the 2020 election. In the video, she is depicted engaging in vote harvesting.
The news was shared in a post on Twitter, which claims that Rodriguez has a connection to Joe Biden. That connection has not yet been verified. “BREAKING: Biden election official has been arrested for widespread election fraud in Texas. Felony charges include election fraud, illegal voting, illegal vote-by-mail, possession of official ballots. Election fraud is investigated and prosecuted in Texas. GA? Get busy…” the tweet read.
 
Rodriguez admitted in the video that the actions she was taking were illegal, and that she could go to jail if caught. She also mentioned Joe Biden by name.

“Yeah, I’m getting the Biden vote out, but I mean I’m not going to do it for free–in other words if they don’t pay me, I’m like excuse me?” she said.

Attorney General Paxton commented on the arrest:

“Many continue to claim that there’s no such thing as election fraud. We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading, and today we have additional hard evidence. This is a victory for election integrity and a strong signal that anyone who attempts to defraud the people of Texas, deprive them of their vote, or undermine the integrity of elections will be brought to justice. The shocking and blatantly illegal action documented by Project Veritas demonstrates a form of election fraud my office continually investigates and prosecutes. I am fiercely committed to ensuring the voting process is secure and fair throughout the state, and my office is prepared to assist any Texas county in combating this insidious, un-American form of fraud,” Paxton said.
The investigation is still ongoing. If convicted, Rodriguez faces up to 20 years in prison.
According to local news outlet KXXV, “Individuals involved in or with knowledge of this organized vote harvesting scheme are encouraged to come forward and cooperate with the Office of the Attorney General.”

WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors on Friday moved to drop charges against the last 39 people accused of participating in a violent protest on the day of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The motion to dismiss charges by the U.S. attorney’s office seemingly ends an 18-month saga that started with the Justice Department attempting to convict more than 190 people.
That effort saw the government facing off against an intensely coordinated grassroots political opposition network that made Washington the focus of a nationwide support campaign — offering free lodging for defendants, legal coordination and other support.

“This is huge news,” said Dylan Petrohilos, a Washington-based activist who was one of the original defendants, but had his charges dropped earlier this year. “The solidarity we showed as defendants won out.”

More than 200 people were arrested after the protest, during which several store windows were broken and a parked limo set ablaze. Two group trials ended in defeats for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which was hindered by the fact that most protesters wore similar black clothing and covered their faces.

The first trial ended with acquittals for all six defendants. After that defeat, the government dropped charges against 129 defendants, including Petrohilos, saying prosecutors would focus on the defendants against whom they had the strongest evidence.
But a second trial for four people in May ended in acquittals on most charges and a hung jury on the rest.

Activists credited a unified defense strategy with prevailing. This strategy included persuading defendants — sometimes over the objections of their lawyers — not to accept plea bargains.

“Solidarity was what won the case,” said Sam Menefee-Libey, a member of the DC Legal Posse activist collective. “I hope that organizers and people on the left study it.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., plans to raise an objection when Congress meets on Wednesday for the Electoral College certification process, which is likely to finalize Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.
“I plan to object to certain contested electors on January 6,” Stefanik said in a statement, according to the New York Post. “I do not take this action lightly. I am acting to protect our Democratic process.”

She added, “Article II and the Twelfth Amendment of the Constitution make clear that I have an obligation to act on this matter if I believe there are serious questions with respect to the Presidential election. I believe those questions exist.


“Tens of millions of Americans are rightly concerned that the 2020 election featured unprecedented voting irregularities, unconstitutional overreach by unelected state officials and judges ignoring state election laws, and a fundamental lack of ballot integrity and security.”

About 140 other congressional Republicans have announced their plans to object to certifying Biden as the winner, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has rejected those calls, and House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said in a letter last weekend that the effort set an “exceptionally dangerous precedent.”

 
Here is what we know right now. President Trump has court cases still pending that will go to the Supreme Court. Thanks to Texas, he now knows how to file it under article 3 and not under article 2. This will force the Supreme Court to hear this rewritten case.
 
President Trump has the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) report. It was announced as a late submission. Barr has stepped down on the 23rd, so he is now able to be a witness. That fact was not able to be announced until now.

So he is able to handle the situation properly, using the military tribunals. President Trump has all the data from NSA, the Kraken supercomputer, the Alice supercomputer, and other systems most are not familiar with. He has the dueling electors from 7 state legislatures. He has VP Mike Pence as the final arbiter of ballots to accept on 1/6/20. He has the Insurrection Act, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Emergency Act, the 14th Amendment, the 2018 Executive Order allowing for the rejection of the election based on Foreign Interference, which we now know is true. More GOP senators vow to challenge Joe Biden’s win
(SA) – A last-ditch effort by President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the election thrust Washington into chaos Saturday as a growing coalition of Republican senators announced plans to rebel against Senate leaders by seeking to block formal certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.
The push to subvert the vote is all but certain to fail when Congress gathers in joint session Wednesday to count electoral college votes already certified by each state. Still, Trump is continuing to press Republican lawmakers to support his baseless claims of election fraud while calling on thousands of supporters to fill the streets of the nation’s capital on Wednesday in mass protest of his defeat.
A group of 11 Republican senators and senators-elect, led by Ted Cruz of Texas, vowed to join Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., in challenging votes from some contested states, calling for an “emergency 10-day audit” to investigate Trump’s unfounded claims. Hours later, Trump wrote on Twitter that there would be “plenty more to come.”
The move amounts to an open rebellion against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who last month pleaded with GOP senators to avoid a public debate over the legitimacy of November’s election results. McConnell has personally congratulated Biden on his victory.
The high drama at the Capitol is set to punctuate a momentous week in politics that will delineate power at the dawn of the Biden presidency. President Donald Trump is declaring "this fake election can no longer stand."

His comments came early Tuesday morning after a forensic audit of the presidential vote tally by Dominion Voting Systems software used in Antrim County, Michigan, showed a more than 68% error rate.

The audit was released Monday by state court Judge Kevin Elsenheimer of the 13th Circuit Court of Michigan in a case brought by county resident William Bailey against Antrim County.

"This is BIG NEWS," Trump tweeted. "Dominion Voting Machines are a disaster all over the Country. Changed the results of a landslide election. Can't let this happen. Thank you for the genius, bravery, and patriotism of the Judge. Should get a medal!"


And, in response to a post by radio personality Kevin McCullough about the audit findings, Trump added: "Thank you Kevin. Many Trump votes were routed to [Joe] Biden. The highly respected Michigan Judge released this epic report. True all over the Country. This Fake Election can no longer stand. Get moving Republicans. Big Swing State Win! 75,000,000 VOTES."

Both of Trump's tweets were flagged by Twitter, which noted his claims about election fraud are disputed.
