Something on my heart this morning……….

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you asked Him into your heart and life? Do you feel that you’ve done some things or lived your life in such a way that God doesn’t want you? Well, you’re wrong! Do you believe that if God wanted to help and love you, He would have already done so? Actually, God does love you and has already been helping you in ways of which you may be unaware. 

Have you ever thought about sitting down and talking with God? Try it - really! Talk with Him, ask Him questions – but then sit in silence and let Him speak to you. If you really want to know Him, you will hear Him, and you will know He is with you. 

This is an especially perfect time of the year to become a part of the family of God and understand and participate in the true meaning and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. There are things in life that can make you happy and glad, but only God can give you the full sense of joy, the fulfillment of joy, the true meaning of joy. Like the joy a new mother feels when she has given birth to her first-born, that God has shared with her the Miracle of Life. Ever wonder why so many people want to touch a new-born baby or even be so bold to ask if they may hold the baby? In their sub-conscious mind they know that touching that Miracle of Life is the closest they can be to Christ until they’re in heaven. Having our Triune God in our lives, to teach us, talk with us, to counsel us, or just being with us is indeed the ultimate joy. If you don’t have Him in your life, or if you need to ‘reintroduce’ yourself to Him, don’t wait another moment. Pursue it now and pray……….He’s waiting for you!
