DAY 324 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

This morning, the conflict with Hezbollah entered a new and far more dangerous phase in northern Israel. Hundreds of Israeli Air Force jets conducted a massive preemptive strike, targeting Hezbollah rocket platforms in southern Lebanon. In response, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has declared a state of emergency.

The IDF revealed that Hezbollah had prepared 200 sites in southern Lebanon, equipped with around 6,000 rockets and UAVs, aimed directly at Tel Aviv. These weapons were intended to target civilians in the heart of Israel. While the IDF's preemptive strike may seem like a success, it marks a significant and dangerous escalation. This morning, Hezbollah claimed to have launched approximately 320 rockets at northern Israel, including areas like Safed, Acre, and 11 military bases.

This situation is extremely volatile. Hezbollah, recently described by CNN as "the most heavily armed terrorist organization in the world," still possesses a huge arsenal. The IDF Home Front Command has already issued new and drastic instructions, placing restrictions on public gatherings, workspaces, and educational activities as far south as Tel Aviv. Ben Gurion Airport has been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.

We anticipate that the situation will continue to escalate, and we urgently need your help. Zaka Tel-Aviv is on high alert, fully deploying all of our resources to respond to this crisis. Your support is critical in enabling us to continue our vital work during these dangerous times.

DAY 320 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Earlier today, Hezbollah launched more than50 rockets toward the Golan Heights, causing significant destruction in Katzrin, a large town in central Golan. This attack marks the largest of its kind since Hezbollah began its assaults on Israel in October 2023.

Hezbollah is not only escalating its aggression but also demonstrating its ability to precisely target specific sites. Despite its claim of aiming for an Israeli military site near Katzrin, the group’s choice to bombard civilian areas with such intensity is a clear indication of its broader strategy. Hezbollah has the capability to accurately strike IDF locations using precision munitions, as it has done in the past with drone strikes that have killed or wounded Israeli soldiers. Yet, today’s attack targeted a civilian town, underscoring its intent to spread terror across northern Israel.

This escalation is part of a calculated plan by Hezbollah to increase the range and intensity of its attacks, creating widespread fear and chaos in Israel's northern regions. The destruction in Katzrin is a stark reminder of the dangerous times we are living in. That is why your support for Zaka Tel-Aviv is crucial. We are on the front lines, providing essential emergency services and assistance to those affected by these attacks. DAY 318 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Last night, a powerful explosion rocked Lahi Street in Tel Aviv. It was soon confirmed as a terrorist attack carried out using an explosive device. Zaka Tel-Aviv teams quickly responded, forming units that joined the security forces and provided crucial assistance at the scene.

The terrorist, who came from the West Bank, was initially difficult to identify, but police later confirmed that the individual killed in the explosion was indeed the terrorist carrying the device. Tragically, a 33-year-old Israeli civilian sustained shrapnel injuries to his limbs and chest. While this was a semi-failed terror attack, it was nothing short of a miracle that the bomb did not detonate in the nearby synagogue or shopping center, which could have resulted in dozens of deaths.

This incident highlights the critical work Zaka Tel-Aviv does in responding to terror attacks and providing essential support. However, the ongoing terror threats and the looming danger of an Iranian attack remain deeply unsettling. In these troubling times, your support is more important than ever. Please donate now to help Zaka Tel-Aviv continue its vital work in protecting and assisting the people of Israel.

Will Iran Attack Israel in the Next 24 Hours?

🚨 DAY 311 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Fox News has just reported that Iran and its proxies could attack Israel within the next 24 hours in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in late July, citing sources in the Middle East.

What makes this attack even more troubling is that these next 24 hours coincide with Tisha B'Av, a day of profound significance in Jewish history. Tisha B'Av commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, a day marked by mourning and reflection on the tragedies that have befallen our people throughout history.

As we observe Tisha B'Av, we find ourselves once again facing the threat of enormous destruction. Iran's looming threat serves as a chilling reminder that the dangers to Israel are very real and present.

This is why supporting Zaka Tel-Aviv is so critical right now. We are on high alert, prepared to respond to any emergency that may arise in these perilous times. Your support enables us to continue our vital work, ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities.

Zaka Tel-Aviv
DAY 308 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

The security cabinet convened tonight in the IDF’s underground command room, known as “the pit," at the military headquarters. This urgent meeting highlights the escalating threat from Hezbollah in Lebanon, marking the first such gathering in this location since April 13-14, when Iran launched 300 missiles and drones at Israel.

The IDF is preparing for a potential preemptive strike against Hezbollah, pending orders from the security cabinet. Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav noted the significant advancements in Hezbollah’s arsenal since the Second Lebanon War, warning that the terror group could fire 4,000 missiles at Israel each day. He urged citizens to prepare enough food and water to stay in shelters for four to six days.

These are very troubling times for Israel, and we need to be prepared for any eventuality. Zaka Tel-Aviv is on high alert, ready to provide essential emergency services and support. Your contributions are crucial in helping us continue our vital work.

Hezbollah Drone Attack Wounds 19 People sxome critical
Yoni Gilboa
DAY 306 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Sad news from earlier today - a Hezbollah drone attack on Israel's Galilee has left 19 people wounded, some in serious condition. This latest aggression damaged northern Israel and prompted IDF counterstrikes and investigations.

In addition to the drone attacks, Hezbollah launched around 30 rockets into northern Israel, targeting both the Golan and the Galilee. While the IDF intercepted some of these threats, other drones managed to penetrate the defense shield, striking south of Nahariya and injuring civilians.

The situation is escalating rapidly as Israel braces for Iran's response to the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh last week. We at Zaka Tel-Aviv are on high alert, and we need your support to be prepared for what looks like a significant escalation with Iran and its proxies.

Hezbollah Rocket Barrage and Terror Attack in Holon
Zaka Tel-Aviv

Elaine

🚨 DAY 303 OF THE WAR 🚨
This morning, a tragic terror attack took place in Holon, where two people were killed and two others wounded in a brutal stabbing on Moshe Dayan Street. We at Zaka Tel-Aviv received the call about the attack and immediately arrived at the scene, joining forces with the police. A policeman in the area shot and killed the terrorist from the West Bank. May their memory be a blessing.

This horrific event comes amid a major escalation in the region following Israel's elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Last night, a massive rocket barrage was launched at northern Israel.

Iran has vowed to respond to Haniyeh's death, with Western intelligence sources suggesting they aim to do so on Tisha B'Av, a day of mourning for Jews commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the most tragic day of the year.

Zaka Tel-Aviv
DAY 299 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

In a stunning development, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated this morning in Tehran. Haniyeh, along with one of his guards, was killed in a raid on his residence in the Iranian capital.

Haniyeh, the political leader of the Hamas terror group, was in Iran for the swearing-in of the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The Gaza-based residence of Haniyeh, previously used as terrorist infrastructure, was hit by an IDF airstrike in November. Typically residing in Qatar, Haniyeh's Tehran property was a crucial meeting place for Hamas leadership.

This significant event has sent shockwaves through the region, raising critical questions about the future leadership of Hamas and the implications for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As of now, no one in Israel has commented on the reports, but this is undeniably consequential news.

In response, Iran has warned that Israel will be "harshly punished" for Haniyeh's killing. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei mourned Haniyeh, praising his struggle and vowing revenge against Israel for his death.

This assassination marks one of the most major events in recent times, potentially inviting serious escalation in the coming days or even hours.

DAY 298 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

A tragic incident occurred earlier today in Kibbutz HaGoshrim. A man in his 30s was severely wounded by rocket debris in northern Israel. Despite receiving immediate medical treatment, resuscitation efforts failed, and he was pronounced dead by paramedics.

This comes on the heels of a horrific attack over the weekend in Majdal Shams, where an Iranian-made Hezbollah rocket hit a soccer field near a playground. Twelve children and teenagers between the ages of 10 and 20, were killed. Dozens of others were wounded. Zaka Tel-Aviv volunteers arrived at the scene immediately to help, administering first aid, supporting the bereaved families, and ensuring the dignified treatment of the bodies.
These are the types of situations Zaka Tel-Aviv deals with virtually every day. With rockets fired by Hezbollah, the situation in Israel remains extremely dangerous. Zaka Tel-Aviv is committed to providing essential emergency services and support to those affected by these tragedies.

At least 19 others were wounded, including six who are seriously injured.

Zaka Tel-Aviv volunteers arrived at the scene immediately to help out, providing first aid, supporting the bereaved families, and ensuring the dignified treatment of the bodies.

One of our volunteers described the scene:

"This is a brutal and heartbreaking scene. Children and teenagers were out enjoying the Sabbath day at the football field when a rocket struck, killing them. Hours after the massacre, the scene is still drenched in blood. With the help of additional volunteers from the local community, we are gathering the numerous remains that, sadly, scattered over a large area, ensuring they are brought to a proper burial. What an unbelievable tragedy."

We at Zaka Tel-Aviv send our deepest condolences to the bereaved families struck on the holy Sabbath. Our hearts are with you during these painful moments.

DAY 291 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

In place of our usual update, we wanted to share a remarkable event that highlights the extraordinary work Zaka Tel-Aviv is doing amidst the ongoing conflict.

Yesterday, Zaka Tel-Aviv launched a special mission field ambulance capable of operating in impassable areas like desserts and beaches, designed for the rescue and treatment of multiple casualties simultaneously. This state-of-the-art ambulance represents a significant advancement in our ability to respond to emergencies and save lives under the most challenging conditions.

The launch event took place in Herzliya and was attended by notable figures, including Economy Minister Nir Barkat, Mayor Yariv Fisher, and high-ranking police officials. During the event, Gilad Kornfeld, father of Tal Shoham who is still held captive in Gaza, delivered a heartfelt speech, reminding us of the suffering and the threat we are now facing from all directions.

Economy Minister Nir Barkat praised Zaka Tel-Aviv's volunteers for their dedicated and professional work, particularly their heroic efforts during the events of October 7. He emphasized the unmatched speed and efficiency of Zaka Tel-Aviv's response to emergencies, calling them a symbol of mutual responsibility and contribution to Israeli society.

Zaka Tel-Aviv's activities are crucial during these challenging times. Our volunteers operate tirelessly to manage casualties and provide essential support amidst ongoing threats. With hostages still held in Gaza and weekly terror attacks, the dangers facing the people of Israel are severe. The new special mission ambulance is incredibly useful, but more equipment is needed to continue our vital work.

DAY 287 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Tel Aviv has been hit by a terror attack overnight. Early this morning, at 3:12 a.m., an explosive drone from Yemen struck an apartment building, killing one man and wounding several others. The Iran-backed Houthis have claimed responsibility for the attack and vowed to continue targeting the city.

Zaka Tel-Aviv arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving the report. Amid the smoke and uncertainty, our team evacuated the injured and scanned the area for additional casualties. Eight people were taken to local hospitals, with four suffering from shrapnel wounds or shock waves from the blast. Tragically, a man in his 50s was killed by shrapnel in the explosion and was pronounced dead at the scene.

DAY 285 OF THE WAR 🚨
Zaka Tel-Aviv

Dear Elaine,

North on fire again. Earlier today, a massive barrage of rockets from Hezbollah left homes burning and northern residents calling on the government to take stronger action. One evacuee from the North stated, "The time has come to exact a price from the state of Lebanon."

Firefighters from Israel's Fire and Rescue Authority are working tirelessly to control the flames ignited in Meron by Hezbollah's rocket launches from Lebanon. Residents in the affected areas described the terror of the latest barrage, saying their "house is on fire" and their "children are shaking in their beds."

Between 20 and 30 rockets were detected crossing from Lebanon today, with some intercepted by Israel's air defenses. Fortunately, there are no known casualties at the moment, but the fires are devastating, causing immense fear and damage. Many residents are advocating for an escalated response to Hezbollah to put an end to these relentless rocket barrages. The situation is dire, and the people of Israel need our support more than ever.

DAY 284 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

As the IDF continues its critical operations in Gaza, Yemen's Houthi terror group has launched attacks on Israel, escalating the conflict further. Earlier today, the Houthis claimed responsibility for two military operations: one in the Gulf of Aden and one targeting Eilat at the southern tip of Israel.

According to the group's military spokesperson, the group targeted an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Aden with ballistic missiles and drones, and attacked military targets in Eilat with drones. These aggressive actions were reportedly in response to the Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis on Saturday.

Israel is now facing threats from all directions, fighting to free hostages and dismantle Hamas in Gaza, while also defending against Hezbollah in the north and Houthi attacks from the south.

During these incredibly challenging times, your support for Israel is more crucial than ever. IDF attacks Syrian army infrastructure in Golan Heights
Zaka Tel-Aviv

Elaine
🚨 DAY 278 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

You may have heard, yesterday, a tragic event occurred when two civilians were killed by a Hezbollah rocket in a barrage that targeted the Golan Heights. The victims were a married couple, both 46 years old, who leave behind three children. Our hearts go out to their family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

As we mourn this tragic loss, the IDF has taken decisive action in response. Earlier today, the IDF attacked infrastructure of the Syrian army in the Golan Heights. This move contradicted the Disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria (1974). The IDF has made it clear that it considers the Syrian army responsible for all activities within its territory and will not tolerate any attempts to breach the separation agreement.

Hezbollah’s Drone Attack
DAY 276 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

This morning, as the IDF initiated a broad re-invasion of Gaza City center with tanks and airstrikes, Hezbollah launched a series of drone attacks on Mount Hermon in Israel's Golan Heights. This targeted location hosts key surveillance, espionage, and air defense installations critical to Israel's security. It marks the first time Hezbollah has hit this location, signaling a new and dangerous escalation.

The conflict between the Iran-backed Hezbollah and Israel has been intensifying rapidly for several months, raising fears of a likely full-scale war. Hezbollah has increased its attacks, deploying larger numbers of explosive drones, using new types of rockets, and declaring that it has targeted Israeli warplanes for the first time. Their capabilities are far more sophisticated and dangerous than those of Hamas.
During these critical times, Zaka Tel-Aviv's role is more crucial than ever. We are committed to providing essential support and emergency services to the people of Israel amidst these escalating threats. Your support enables us to continue our vital work, ensuring we can respond swiftly and effectively to any situation.

DAY 271 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

A tragic terror attack occurred at a shopping center in the city of Karmiel in Israel's North. One person was killed, and another was wounded in a brutal stabbing attack.

Eyewitnesses reported that the terrorist severely wounded one young man with a knife. His friend, who was armed, managed to disarm the assailant and shoot him, but not before being stabbed himself. The individual who was critically wounded, in his 20s, was left unconscious. Medics performed CPR on him at the scene before transferring him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. The other individual, also in his 20s, sustained serious wounds but was stabilized and taken to the same hospital.

The police confirmed that the terrorist was killed. The chief of the Israel Police Northern District commended the brave actions of the wounded individual, who managed to shoot and thwart the terrorist despite his injuries.

This tragic event highlights the ever-present threat of terror attacks and the critical need for swift emergency response in Israel, especially at this time. Zaka Tel-Aviv is dedicated to providing essential support and emergency services in such dire situations. Your donations enable us to continue our vital work, ensuring we can respond effectively and save lives during these challenging times.

DAY 265 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Growing concerns about the war in Lebanon are becoming increasingly alarming. Last night, the IDF struck a building in the city of Nabatieh, located in southern Lebanon, there aren't any details on that at the moment.

Meanwhile, this morning, Germany and the Netherlands followed Canada's lead in urging their citizens to leave Lebanon, fearing the outbreak of an all-out war with Israel. Germany has also warned that air traffic might be halted, making it impossible for their citizens to leave if the situation escalates further.

Both of these developments are very alarming, and during these challenging times, your support is more crucial than ever. Zaka Tel-Aviv is committed to providing essential support and emergency services to those affected by these escalating threats. Your contributions help us continue this vital work and ensure that we are prepared to respond effectively to any situation.

Hezbollah's Plan to Strike Haifa and Tel Aviv Revealed
Yoni Gilboa
🚨 DAY 258 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Earlier today, a new report revealed alarming details about Hezbollah's plans in the likely event of a military conflict with Israel. According to Lebanese newspaper Elnashra, Hezbollah intends to target Haifa first if Israel expands its military operations, followed by other cities, including Tel Aviv. The IDF recently announced operational plans for an attack on Lebanon, prompting Hezbollah to prepare for a potential declaration of war by Israel. Haifa has been marked as a significant target, with strategic, military, and civilian facilities already documented.

Sources warn that in the initial days of a potential war, Hezbollah plans to bombard Haifa and Tel Aviv with precision missiles. They aim to distract Israel's defense systems by attacking targets related to the Iron Dome and David’s Sling, exposing them to direct hits. The next stage would involve launching dozens of precision missiles at specific targets in and around Haifa port.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials have expressed serious concerns about the capacity of Israel’s air defense systems, including the Iron Dome, to withstand an all-out war with Hezbollah. Three U.S. officials told CNN that they fear the Iron Dome could be overwhelmed in such a scenario. Israeli counterparts have shared these concerns and are planning to reposition systems from around Gaza to the north.

This scenario poses a grave threat to Israel's security. During these challenging times, Zaka Tel-Aviv plays a crucial role in providing essential support and emergency services to those affected. Your contributions help us continue this vital work and respond effectively to any situation.

DAY 257 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

As tensions continue to rise, experts warn that an all-out war with Hezbollah is not a question of if, but when. The increasing threats from Hezbollah, combined with their capacity to force the evacuation of 80,000-100,000 residents from their homes in the North, present a dire situation that Israel must address decisively.

The general consensus is that Israel will have no choice but to embark on a large-scale war to defeat Hezbollah and ensure long-term security in the coming weeks. Unlike limited operations, a comprehensive approach is necessary to address the most serious threat to Israel, second only to Iran. Failure to act now risks a future crisis, there is simply no choice.

The current security situation is deeply concerning and unsettling. With reserve forces mobilized and a lack of commitment to support Israel from the Western leaders, Israel faces a significant threat.

During these challenging times, Zaka Tel-Aviv plays a crucial role in providing essential support and emergency services to the people of Israel. Your contributions help us continue this vital work, ensuring that we are ready to respond effectively to any situation.

DAY 254 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

As Hezbollah continues to intensify threats on Israel's North, we experienced a tragic weekend. Ten soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip on Friday, and an eleventh succumbed to wounds sustained earlier in the week. These brave soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and security of Israel. May their memory be a blessing.

Their deaths bring the toll of slain troops in the ground offensive against Hamas and amid operations along the Gaza border to 311. This increase underscores the severe dangers our nation is currently facing. The situation has escalated to the point where according to many, there is now a very real risk of a wider Israel-Lebanon war.

As we mourn these heroes, we recognize the immense price of this war for our people. The threat from Hezbollah is growing, and the potential for further conflict looms large. During these difficult times, Zaka Tel-Aviv remains steadfast in its mission, providing essential support, emergency services, and preparedness training for the people of Israel.

Your support is crucial in helping us continue this vital work. By supporting Zaka Tel-Aviv, you help ensure that we can provide the necessary assistance to those affected by the conflict and maintain our readiness for any situation.

Rockets Hit Tzfat (Safed)
Zaka Tel-Aviv
🚨 DAY 252 OF THE WAR 🚨
Dear Elaine,

Yesterday, Hezbollah launched a relentless rocket barrage on northern Israel, hitting Tzfat hard and setting off sirens across the Galilee and the northern and central Golan Heights. The IDF reported approximately 40 projectiles launched towards these regions. While the IDF’s Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted some of the projectiles, many still managed to land and ignite fires. In the Golan Heights, two people sustained injuries from shrapnel, and several fires broke out due to falling missiles.

Sources confirm that this was the terror group's largest attack since October 7th, involving 30 drones targeting 15 Israeli military installations in the Galilee and Golan. This assault was reportedly a response to the killing of senior commander Sami Taleb Abdullah on Tuesday.

Hezbollah's increasing sophistication in warfare is deeply concerning. As their capabilities grow, the threats to Israel and its people becomes more severe. During these challenging times, supporting Israel is paramount. Zaka Tel-Aviv plays a critical role in providing essential support and emergency services. Your contributions help us continue this vital work, ensuring that we can respond swiftly and effectively to protect and assist those affected by these attacks.
