"The fear that's running through the Jewish community now I think we haven't had since 1945."

These are the tragic words of Britain’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, to ITV News as he revealed the rising antisemitism was causing “very deep pain”.

According to the Metropolitan Police, antisemitic offences have risen 1,353% compared to the same time last year.

Despite this, Met officers stood idly by as the streets of London rang with calls for jihad and the blood of Jews.

Referencing the deeply disturbing displays, the Chief Rabbi said: "There is a lot of anxiety and seeing so many thousands of people on the streets openly supporting the Hamas terrorists certainly has caused a lot of anxiety within in our community."

This is tragic. No one in the UK should live in fear for their safety.
