Despite the optimistic outlook repeated by Netanyahu concerning peace with Saudi Arabia, the chances are still pretty slim due to one of the thorniest issues in the negotiations

This issue is a “palestnian” state. That’s right, peace with Saudi Arabia hinges on a non-state entity’s desire to stop being a bunch of terrorists and instead accept the Jewish people’s right to live in their ancient homeland. The fact is, unless Saudi Arabia drops this demand then there will not be peace anytime soon.

No Israeli Prime Minister will agree to hand over half of Jerusalem or dismantle the amount of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria that would allow this sort of thing to take place.

So what is going on?

What we are seeing is Netanyahu masterfully push back at the Biden administration’s push for “peace” that neither Saudi Arabia or Israel really need. No Israeli is actively missing out at not visiting Medina or Mecca and those Muslims that want to go are able to. Besides that, the two countries are already working together on those issues that matter – namely Iran.

Unless, there is a change in demands, most of what we are seeing are both Israel and Saudi Arabia deflecting an election year push by America to bring an unwanted peace deal to fruition.
