2012 Closing Ceremony London Olympics

Thoroughly enjoyed the Fantastic and impressive Closing Ceremony of London 2012 Olympic. Well organized with as many as 10,000 from the 204 nations flooding the stadium. Apparently no time for a rehearsal.

Whereas, the Closing Ceremony brought us London life.
Aimed at celebrating one of Britain’s strongest cultural exports over the last 50 years, the musical extravaganza and to my mind put the Great back into Britain, I loved singer Emeli Sande, unwrapped on a newspaper rubbish truck, singing "READ ALL ABOUT IT" typically British, my best is difficult to chose, I loved it all and didn't want to blink to miss any of it.
I so loved having Winston Churchill look-alike Timothy Spall, with his fat cigar quoting extract from Shakespeare.
We were treated to a taste of Britain's comedy Only fools and Horses with Dell Boy and Rodney and their Yellow Robin Reliant exploding and staggering from the wreckage dressed as Batman and Robin coming out in the smoke, maybe some didn't understand what that was about. I thought it was great to see Boy/ Girl Bands "The Spice Girls" come together with Victoria Beckham also Gary Barlow of "Take That".

We had More of comedy heritage Towards ending, when Monty Python star Eric Idle appeared onstage and leads 80,000 with rendition of "Always look on the bright side of Life".
A galaxy of stars including the Pet Shop Boys, Kaiser Chiefs, George Michael, Tinie Tempah and Jessie J, along with faces such as Kate Moss, Russell Brand, Julian Lloyd Webber, Naomi Campbell and Darcey Bussell built up to the show’s climax and The Who.
Traditionally the closing ceremony is to celebrate what the athletes achieved but you can only describe it as PARTY PARTY PARTY. The atmosphere one word for it "Electrifying"
From what I could see of the camera shots everyone present in the arena enjoying. The loudest and longest cheers and applaud, came for the thousands of volunteers.
In closing...The spirit of togetherness was heartwarming.
