A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We are only as strong as what we struggle with.

ALMOST ALL
"According to the Law, ALMOST ALL things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." [Hebrews 9. 22]
In the OLD COVENANT sin is dealt with by a sacrifice of blood for a covering. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you for making expiation for your lives upon the altar; it is the blood, as life, that effects atonement." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] The Hebrew word "kaphar" means atone, cleans, cover-over, forgive, pardon, purge, propitiate, or reconcile.

Chapter 4 of Leviticus lists the sacrifices required for sins done unintentionally by a common person, a ruler, or the whole congregation. However, they were only for unintentional sins, not for premeditated willful sins. There was no covering for any sins done deliberately. The person who emphatically sins was to be cut off because of their wickedness.

The Almighty ONE tells us that there are those we are not even to pray for. "As for you, do not pray for this people, do not raise a cry or pray for them, do not make intercession to Me; for I will not listen to you...they vex and provoke Me to anger to their own disgrace." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 7. 16, 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "This is the nation that would not obey the LORD their GOD, nor accept correction. Truth and faithfulness has perished vanished from their mouths." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 7. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Do not pray for the benefit of this people." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 14. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

In the New Covenant also, the only covering for unintentional sin is blood — the most precious blood of the SUPREME SACRIFICE, MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD'S ONLY–BEGOTTEN SON. "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM." [Romans 5. 8 - 9] And you have been "washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the NAME of the LORD JESUS and by the SPIRIT of our GOD." [1 Corinthians 6. 11]

However, if one willfully sins "after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins." [Hebrews 10. 26] Those who have such contempt, despise and totally reject MESSIAH YESHUA, WHO is GOD'S MAGNIFICENT METHOD of dealing with sin will receive a much worse punishment for they have "trampled the SON of GOD underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the SPIRIT OF GRACE?" [Hebrews 10. 29] When the LORD ETERNAL judges HIS people, assuredly it will be, "a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 10. 30 - 31]

Though we were enemies of the HOLY GOD, through the death of HiS SON we can be justified by the blood of the LAMB, and saved from the wrath of GOD through YesHUA ha’MASHIACH, the only ONE through Whom we can receive reconciliation. The GIVER OF THE LAW calls even now: "BEHOLD! NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION." [2 Corinthians 6. 2] The power of the LORD GOD ETERNAL, the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH, is mighty to save; don't turn HIM away!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
CREATOR of the Universe we extol YOUR greatness and goodness. We rejoice at YOUR guiding hand and seek YOUR inspiration and purify our spirits that in our daily tasks we may be conscious of YOUR PRESENCE. Help us to see that no work prospers unless it brings blessings to other lives, and no gain truly enriches if it adds not to the happiness of others. Help us so to live that when we have gathered our final harvest, many shall rise up and call us blessed, because we pointed them to YOU. Teach us to seek YOU ever more within the sanctuary of our souls, within YOUR tabernacle, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers, Amen.

Day 39 of the Omer Netzach Yesod ― Endurance in Bonding
An essential component of bonding is its endurance, its ability to withstand challenges and stumbling blocks. Without endurance there is no chance to develop true bonding. "Endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in CHRIST JESUS with eternal glory." 2 Timothy 2:10 "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Prayer is the path where there is none; and sincerity is prayer's vehicle.

DOCTRINE OF SALVATION
"For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST; for it is the POWER OF GOD to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek." [Romans 1. 16]

The great theme of "salvation (Hebrew: yeshuw'ah)" is prominent in both OLD & NEW COVENANTS. It means deliverance and can be used for local and specific deliverances from perils, as well as for the eternal deliverances of one's soul. In the latter sense, it is used for deliverance from the penalty of sin, from the power of sin in our daily life, and from the very presence of sin in the future life.

Salvation is found only through the LORD JESUS, the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, WHOSE purpose for coming into the world was to "save HIS people from their sins." [Matthew 1. 21] The name YESHUA (JESUS) is translated salvation. Simeon, after waiting for many years, took the INFANT YESHUA in arms exclaiming by the SPIRIT, "My eyes have seen YOUR SALVATION." [Luke 2. 30]

The theme of salvation is "so great" [Hebrews 2. 3], it embraces many major doctrines (Doctrine: that which is held to be true) of SCRIPTURE:

Doctrine of Atonement "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making expiation for your lives upon the altar; it is the blood, as life, that makes atonement." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

Doctrine of Substitution "But HE was wounded because of our sins, crushed because of our iniquities. HE bore the chastisement that made us whole, and by HIS bruises, we were healed." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Doctrine of Imputation "Blessed is the man to whom GOD imputes righteousness apart from works. Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute (charge) sin." [Romans 4. 6 - 8]

Doctrine of Propitiation "And HE HIMSELF is the PROPITIATION (atonement/payment) for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." [1 John 2. 2]

Doctrine of Redemption "Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

Doctrine of Remission "To HIM (YESHUA) all the prophets witness that, through HIS NAME, whoever believes in HIM will receive remission of sins." [Acts 10. 43]

Doctrine of Justification "Man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the Law." [Romans 3. 28]

Doctrine of Adoption "Having predestined us to adoption as sons by JESUS CHRIST to HIMSELF, according to the good pleasure of HIS will." [Ephesians 1. 5]

Doctrine of Reconciliation "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to GOD through the death of HIS SON, much more, having been reconciled (made acceptable), we shall be saved by HIS life." [Romans 5. 10 - 11]

Doctrine of Regeneration "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy HE saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Titus 3. 5]

Doctrine of Sanctification "HE (YESHUA) said — Behold, I have come to do YOUR will, O GOD. — HE takes away the first that HE may establish the second, by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of JESUS CHRIST once for all." [Hebrews 10. 9 - 10]

Doctrine of Glorification "Moreover whom HE (YESHUA) predestined, these HE also called; whom HE called, these HE also justified; and whom HE justified, these HE also glorified." [Romans 8. 30] From the JEWISH TALMUD regarding predestination: "Everything is foreseen yet freedom of choice is granted. Predestination is always conditioned upon GOD'S foreknowledge; the end of the act is predestinated; but the actors choose their part."

When a person is saved, the blessings implied in every one of these great doctrines of salvation become his be they Jew or Gentile; whether found in OLD COVENANT, Prophecy or NEW COVENANT, Fulfillment. No wonder Paul boasted, "I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST, for it is the POWER OF GOD to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written — The just shall live by faith." [Romans 1. 16 - 17] Truly, Paul was not ashamed of this GREAT GOSPEL OF SALVATION through the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH; nor should we be ashamed!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Believe on the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA and be saved…in the mighty hands of the MASTER you are complete and whole. Know that some glorious day we will behold that BLESSED HOPE and we will spend eternity in HIS PRESENCE and rest in the many promises that are to come into fulfillment when we but step into HIS arms. Because CHRIST JESUS lives and is sovereign over all, we can face tomorrow and be comforted now.

Day 38 of the Omer Tiferet of Yesod ― Compassion in Bonding
Bonding needs to be not only loving, but also compassionate and empathizing (sympathy and supportive). "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of CHRIST." Galatians 6:2 "We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples (weaknesses) of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification (building up)." Romans 15:1-2

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The wise reside in the "Tent of Learning."

FINAL REDEMPTION
"For a CHILD has been born to us, a SON has been given to us; and authority has settled on HiS shoulders. HE has been named WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, the MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The TANAKH (OLD COVENANT) tells that the hopes of Israel are centered on two great events — the coming of GOD'S Kingdom and the coming of the MAN, WHO would bring this Kingdom to pass. According to the TALMUD (a JEWISH COMMENTARY), Jews expected two MESSIAHS: MESSIAH ben'Yosef and MESSIAH ben'David. The Name of the MESSIAH was formed before the creation of the world: "Seven things were formed before the creation of the world — The Law, Repentance, Paradise, Sheol, the Throne of Glory, the Temple , and the NAME of the MESSIAH." [TALMUD, P'Sachim, fol. 54, col. 1]

This MAN would please ALMIGHTY GOD and would bring HIS people to rest and deliverance from their enemies. Thirty six prophets made predictions concerning the coming MESSIAH either about HIS birth, HIS SPIRIT, HIS miracles, HIS relationship with other peoples, HIS death, HIS resurrection, or about some other phase of HIS Life. This MAN, WHO fulfills the visions and hopes of the Prophets and the Psalmist is MESSIAH, JESUS OF NAZARETH (MESSIAH means ANOINTED ONE). The LORD YESHUA comes from the line of David, the line of Abraham, the line of Isaac, and the line of Jacob. It was prophesied that the MESSIAH would come from:

The Human Family of Adam — "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her SEED; HE shall crush your head, and you will strike at HIS Heel." [Genesis (Bereshith) 3. 15 Tanakh, Torah]

The Race in the Line of Shem — "Blessed be the LORD, ELOHEY of Shem; let Canaan be a slave to them." [Genesis (Bereshith) 9. 25 Tanakh, Torah; 9:25–27 in other versions.]

The Patriarch Line of Abraham — "Abraham shall surely become a great, populous and mighty nation and all the nations of the earth are to be blessed in him." [Genesis (Bereshith) 18. 18 Tanakh, Torah]

The True Heir in the Lineage of Isaac — "I will bestow MY blessing upon you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven and the sands on the seashore; and your descendants shall seize the gates of their foes. All the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by your descendants, because you have obeyed MY command." [Genesis (Bereshith) 22. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

The National Line of Jacob — "I am the LORD, the GOD of your father Abraham and the GOD of Isaac, the ground on which you are lying I will assign to you and to your offspring. Your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you and your descendants." [Genesis (Bereshith) 28. 13 - 14 Tanakh, Torah]

The Tribal Lineage of Judah — "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a ruler's staff from between his feet, until SHILOH (MESSIAH YESHUA —Shiloh means "Peace & Security" which will be realized to the fullest when HE WHO is the EXACT IMAGE OF GOD) comes and tribute is to HIM; and the obedience of the people shall be HIS." [Genesis (Bereshith) 49. 10 Tanakh, Torah]

The Kingly Line of David — "The LORD swore to David a firm oath that HE will not renounce — One of your own issue I will set upon your throne." [Psalms (Tehillym) 132. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many Jews, upon first arriving in the Promised Holy Land, go to the Western Wall (the Kotel) to pray and lament. They have yearned for the coming of ONE WHO would deliver them from their countless enemies and set up HIS EVERLASTING KINGDOM; only to be disappointed throughout the years, for false prophets have laid claim to the title of "THE ANOINTED ONE."

However, in searching HOLY SCRIPTURE, there can be no doubt as to WHOM MESSIAH is! From studying the GOSPELS we see that the HEBREW SCRIPTURES are often quoted by the PIERCED ONE describing HIMSELF in every detail! "And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, HE expounded to them in all the SCRIPTURES the things concerning HIMSELF." [Luke 24. 27] "Then HE said to them — These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the TORAH (LAW OF MOSES) and the Nevi'im (PROPHETS) and the Kethuvim (PSALMS/WRITINGS) concerning ME." [Luke 24. 44]
If only a person would honestly look into HIS wonderfully amazing "Love Letter (THE HOLY BIBLE)" the HOLY ONE wrote and preserved in writing for us, they would find the riches in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA for their own lives and understand our GREAT, PRECIOUS & LOVELY REDEEMING LORD GOD OF HEAVEN personally.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our souls thirst for YOU, O FATHER GOD, as the hart after the refreshing water brook. When we would escape from the storms of earthly life, where can we find refuge but in YOU? As one week swiftly follows week and man gives no heed, so pass the years away, and the end of our works draws near. Help us so to live that our souls may look upon these transient scenes with calmness and contentment, assured that at last we shall rest in the light of YOUR countenance and rejoice in YOUR goodness forever. Truly, freedom of the soul comes through obedience to YOUR commandments.

Day 37 of the Omer Gevurah of Yesod ? Discipline of Bonding
Bonding must be done with discretion and careful consideration with whom and with what you bond. "It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than for a man to hear the song of fools." Ecclesiastes/Kohelet 7:5 "I will render praises to YOU, for YOU have delivered my soul from death. YOU have kept my feet from falling, that I may walk before GOD in the light of the living." Psalms/Tehillym 56:12-13

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Don’t ask a question unless you can stand the answer.

WOMAN OF VALOR
"Strength, splendor, and honor are her clothing; she rejoices cheerfully as she looks to the future." [Proverbs (Mishle) 31. 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This testimony notes a vital aspect of the character of the virtuous woman in the last 22 verses of Proverbs 31. The title in Hebrew is, Aishess Kahyil, Woman of Valor (courage, boldness, heroism), and it is written in an acrostic format. The author evidently is using all the resources possible to describe a truly valuable model a woman can and should be.

This woman is industrious in providing clothing for her family making "for all her household is dressed in crimson" and herself "she makes tapestry, her clothing is fine linen and purple" since "she performs her tasks with vigor, she sees that her business thrives; her lamp does not go out by night. She sets with her hand to the distaff (femininity), her fingers work the spindle." [Proverbs 31. 21 – 22 & 18 – 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim] But most important, her spiritual clothing is strength and honor which are even more lovely then the beautiful garments.

In the NEW COVENANT, the Apostle Paul urged "that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works." [1 Timothy 2. 9 - 10]

Similarly, the Apostle Peter exhorts CHRISTian wives not to emphasize their outward appearance. "Do not let your adornment be merely outward — arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel — rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of GOD. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in GOD also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror." [1 Peter 3. 3 - 6] This compliments the believer, as reflected in OLD COVENANT: "For the LORD takes pleasure in HIS people; HE will adorn the humble with salvation." [Psalms (Tehillym) 149. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Seek the LORD, all you meek of the land, who have upheld HIS justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 2. 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Thus, the incentive encouragement the HOLY SCRIPTURE gives to all women who follow the LORD YESHUA is to be concerned primarily with their spiritual clothing — strength of character, honor, quietness of spirit, and good works. "Charm (favor, grace, elegance, refinement) is deceitful, beauty is passing (illusory, deceptive, misleading); but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised." [Proverbs (Mishle) 31. 30 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The woman of valor is an amazing gift from CREATOR GOD, for they are well equipped with HIS love, equanimity (self-control, composure, level-headed), tolerance (patience, charity, kindness, mercy) and wonder (amazing, sensational, exciting, exhilarating, thrilling), but moreover they fear and honor HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in GOD'S Kingdom.

Happy Mothers Day! Be sure to honor motherhood and the women who have set an example for you by following the example of YESHUA. Love, encourage, care for, and serve those around you, including those who don’t deserve it. Follow YESHUA’S steps and give your life away for the welfare of others, just as HE did you.

Day 34 of the Omer Yesod Hod― Bonding in Humility
In humility, build something lasting. . .this will result from bonding and commitment to others, but above all ― to the LORD GOD. "Set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your GOD." Daniel/Danyel 10:12 "Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up." James 4:10 "Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and HIS glory will be seen upon you." Isaiah/Yeshayah 60:1-2

Day 36 of the Omer Chesed of Yesod― Loving-kindness of Bonding
Love is the heart or center of bonding. You cannot bond without love as love establishes a true and reliable base on which bonding can build. Develop a loving attitude first, then demonstrate that bond through acts of love. Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, strength and soul; and your neighbor as yourself. "Let all those rejoice who put their trust in YOU; let them ever shout for joy, because YOU defend them; let those also who love YOUR NAME be joyful in YOU. For YOU, O LORD, will bless the righteous with favor; YOU will surround him as with a shield." Psalms/Tehillym 5:11-12

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Charity is the sign of a righteous man. [Midrash, Torah]

VIOLENCE & FORCE
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." [Matthew 11. 12]

To clarify (explain and/or simplify) this text of HOLY SCRIPTURE, the setting is ever important or one might imagine that violence is the demeanor a believer should demonstrate, which is irrational and absurd at best. Because of violence, the RIGHTEOUS HOLY ONE destroyed the earth in the days of Noah with a flood. "The earth became corrupt before ELOHIYM (GOD); the earth was filled with violence." [Genesis (Bereshith) 6. 11 Tanakh, Torah] "The LORD tests the righteous man, but loathes the wicked and the one who loves violence." [Psalms (Tehillym) 11. 5 Tanakh, Torah]

In the NEW COVENANT, the LORD GOD gave those who rejected HIM over to a reprobate mind and they turned violent. [Romans 1. 28 - 32] Those seeking to be overseers (bishops) are not to be given to violence, thus MESSIAH'S followers are to be gentle and harmless as doves. [Matthew 10. 16; Philippians 2. 15; 1 Thessalonians 2. 7; 1 Timothy 3. 3; 2 Timothy 2. 24; Titus 1. 7; 3. 2; Hebrews 7. 26; James 3. 17; 1 Peter 2. 18]

When John the Baptizer first began to preaching repentance as that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. [Matthew 3. 1] The Pharisees and Sadducees, the nation's leaders, brought immediate resistance, as the people were flocking to John instead of them. When they came to John's baptism, he indisputably declared to them — "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?" [Matthew 3. 7]

Soon afterwards, MESSIAH YESHUA came preaching the same message, and encountered the same hostile conflict. [Matthew 4. 17] The LORD YESHUA also pronounced a woe on this same group saying, "Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say — If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. — Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers' guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation." [Matthew 23. 29 - 36]

After a short while, John was beheaded and later the LORD JESUS was crucified. The Kingdom of Heaven in its early development indeed suffered violence, and it continues throughout the world even now. Most of the Apostles suffered martyrdom in various forms and there are millions of true followers of YESHUA the BELOVED REDEEMER that have not only met with similar opposition and persecution, but were tortured and murdered also.

In spite of all the powerful, evil forces of Satan, demons and wicked men, there is no power that can prevail against the ANOINTED ONE and HIS true church, those redeemed by HIS precious blood. The Kingdom of Heaven will cover the earth, KING JESUS will rule in righteousness. "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD that is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 8. 37 - 39]

The more force, pressure and opposition against GOD'S Kingdom, the greater has been its growth. We don't win by violence, but we are overcomers by truth and love. The LORD YESHUA promises an Everlasting Covenant: "These things I have spoken to you, that in ME you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." [John 16. 33] Not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT — says the LORD OF HOSTS.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
There is a place for believers in the midst of a pagan society — a challenging position of change and conflict overwhelmed with problems and full of difficulties. For the fainthearted, this is threatening; for the audacious, courageous and noble-minded — Exciting! Try a little exhilarating excitement!
The day is short and the work is great; but the laborers are idle, though the reward be great, and the MASTER of the work presses. It is not incumbent upon you to complete the work; but you must not therefore cease from it. If you have worked much, great shall be your reward — for the MASTER WHO employed you is faithful in HIS payment. But know that the true reward is not of this world.

WEEK 6 ― YESOD: BONDING
During the sixth week of counting the Omer, we examine and refine the emotional attribute of Yesod (bonding, connecting). This is total devotion, bonding is eternal, developing an everlasting union that lives on forever through the perpetual fruit it bears.
Bonding is the foundation of life, the emotional spine of human consciousness (awareness). Every person needs to bond, to be committed and total devoted to the HEAVENLY FATHER to flourish and grow the way HE designed and intended. Bonding is encouragement, assuring others that they belong; that they are important and significant. It establishes trust and instills confidence ― in GOD first, others and yourself.

Day 36 of the Omer Chesed of Yesod ― Loving-kindness of Bonding

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD'S answers are wiser than our prayers.
LAG B’OMER
"And from the day on which you bring the sheaf of Elevation Offering — the day after the Sabbath — you shall count off seven weeks. They must be complete." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 15 Tanakh, Torah]

Lag b'Omer means "the 33rd day of the (counting of the) Omer." The Omer (a unit of measure) was a barley offering, which was brought into the Temple on the day we start counting, the second day of Passover, to the day before Shavuoth, seven full weeks. This period is known as the "Counting of the Omer." {Lag b’Omer is May 7, 2015, 18 Iyyar 5775 on the Hebrew Calendar}

Every night, from the second night of Passover to the night before Shavuot, we recite a mitzvah (blessing) and state the count of the Omer in both weeks and days. The first is the week of Chesed (loving-kindness); the second, Gevurah (justice & discipline); the third, Tiferet (harmony – compassion); the fourth, Netzach (endurance); the fifth, Hod [Malchut] (humility, [humility in nobility]); the sixth, Yesod (bonding); and the seventh week, Malchut (Sovereignty, leadership). The counting is intended to remind us of the link between Passover — which commemorates the Exodus —and Shavuoth (Pentecost), which commemorates the giving of the TORAH. It reminds us that the redemption from slavery was not complete until we received the TORAH (The Law).

The first 33 days of the Omer are observed as a period of mourning. We do not take haircuts, perform weddings, or listen to music. Lag b'Omer is the 33rd Day of counting the Omer. The word "lag" means "33" as it is comprised of the Hebrew letters lamud and gimmel corresponding to the numerical values of thirty and three. The Omer Period is a time of heightened spiritual sensitivity and growth. The closer Shavuot (Pentecost) draws, the greater our anticipation grows for the climactic celebration of the "GIVING OF THE TORAH" — the watershed (dividing, defining moment) event of Jewish history.

However, the greater the potential there is for growth and building, the greater the potential for destruction. Consequently, in eras when the Jewish People have not lived up to their potential, the Omer Period has become one of tragedy: In the time of Rabbi Akiva, who witnessed the destruction of the Second Temple and who was the greatest TORAH Sage of his generation from the era of the MISHNAH; 24,000 of his disciples died in an epidemic. The underlying spiritual cause of the epidemic was the student's lack of respect for each other. This sad event and others took place during the Counting of the Omer. As a result, the Omer Period has become one of semi-mourning in which we don't hold weddings or festivities, nor do we shave or get haircuts. But because the epidemic was suspended on the 33rd day — Lag b'Omer has become a joyous day of celebration, a minor holiday commemorating a break in the plague.

After all his students died, Rabbi Akiva started over and began teaching other students. One of his foremost students was Rabbi Shimon bar-Yochai, a great sage who lived and taught about half a century after the destruction of the Second Temple . The ZOHAR (translation: The Shining Light, Glow, Luminescence) is a book is so named because its teachings illuminate the darkness and confusion of this world and serve as a beacon of light by which to navigate the vicissitudes (adversity, difficulties, troubles) of life. Rabbi Shimon himself is referred to by the Zohar as "Botzina Kadisha (Sacred Lamp)." Lighting bonfires or candles, symbolic of the light provided by the eternal fire of the TORAH, in memory of Rabbi Shimon bar-Yochai, who revealed the teachings of the ZOHAR to the world on Lag b'Omer. In Israel , there are picnics, feasting, dancing, singing, and bonfires are lit — an unusual memorial but one that the rabbi instructed his students to observe. Many people wait until their son is three before cutting his hair, and on the Lag b'Omer of his third year, they cut the boy's hair. There is also a custom that children play with bows (keshet in Hebrew — the same word as rainbow) on Lag b'Omer. And of recent, it is a national day honoring Israeli Defense Force reserve soldiers, in appreciation for their motivation and willingness to share the load.

As believers in MESSIAH YESHUA, the LORD GOD ETERNAL, we can celebrate the GREAT KEEPER OF THE VINEYARD, for HE carries all our burdens and has set us free as we release our heavy load of sin to HIM.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Day 33 of the Omer [Lag b’Omer] Hod Hod― Humility in Humility
Lag b’Omer is a day characterized as "thankfulness within thankfulness — modehani — a day to celebrate gratitude." If you are proud of being humble, you are not humble!

Shluchot, a Jewish mazel (good–energetic) prayer: "GOD our FATHER, walk through our home and take away all our worries and illnesses, and please watch over and heal our family and others families as well. Please fill the coming days with YOUR DIVINE PRESENCE, Amen."

"Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come near, and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the House of the LORD." 2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 29:31 "But GOD be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness." Romans 5:17-19

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 24 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Faith is being certain of what we hope for.

ACCEPTABLE TIME
"For He says — In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." [2 Corinthians 6. 2]

If you are content with your life just as it is, you neglect your spiritual need thinking you will deal with eternity just before you die. Deferring, putting-off, indifference, and all other types of procrastination is the major deadly sin of unbelievers. Even if one understands the LIFE-GIVING WoRD and realizes their need of salvation, they still put off making a decision or commitment.

This, however, is a critically dangerous behavior or thought. ScripturE tells us, "you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say — If the LORD wills, we shall live and do this or that. But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin." [James 4. 14 - 17]

The sin of indifference (lack of interest, unconcerned) then becomes the sin of neglect, then the ultimate unforgivable sin of permanent rejection and unbelief. The HOLY ONE has warned: "Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the SPIRIT against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish." [Galatians 5. 16 - 18]

"Heed hIS voice today, do not be stubborn and harden your hearts." [Psalms (Tehillym) 95. 7 – 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This warning from the psalmist was considered so important that the writer of Hebrews quoted it three times over. Such an emphasis suggests that there is indeed a great danger in resisting GoD’S call to salvation. There may be another opportunity, but it is a haughty and arrogant action to presume on the ALMIGHTY ONE'S patient, long-suffering mercy.

Today is the day of salvation. The accepted time is now! We must "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling" [Philippians 2. 12] — not leaning on others, but on the LORD JESUS alone. We must learn to walk and stand alone instead of leaning on any other person or influence. Our spiritual duties must be our own hearts actions. Our free gift of salvation must be received by grace; and though we are hated by all men for CHRIST’S sake, whoever endures to the end shall be saved. [Mark 13. 13]

Keep in mind, "Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the SON OF GOD underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the SPIRIT OF GRACE?" In view of the fact that, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD." [Hebrews 10. 29, 32] Nevertheless, he who endures to the end shall be saved. So, make your daily choice shrewdly, decide wisely, and establish your directions with care. . . now! May our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER guide your choice each day along the way.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Many are the enemies that have risen against us, but trusting in YOU, O GOD, we are confident that we will never be dismayed. Continue to instill courage and steadfastness in our faith and trust in YOU. Uphold us, sustain us and may we always walk undaunted in the path of loyalty as YOUR redeemed children. As we bend the knee to YOU alone, we give YOU thanks for always hearing our prayer giving bold confidence as we strive unceasingly for the triumph of truth. In YOUR PRECIOUS NAME, JESUS, we ask these things. Amen

Day 30 of the Omer Gevurah Hod― Discipline in Humility
Humility must be disciplined and focused. It must also includes respect and awe ALMIGHTY GOD, the ONE you are standing humbly before. "In that day a man will look to his MAKER, and his eyes will have respect for the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL." Isaiah/Yeshayah 17:7

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He whose works are greater than his knowledge is like a tree with many roots and few branches, of which all the winds of heaven cannot uproot.

MESSIAH, THE KOSHER ATONEMENT
"Make sure that you do not partake of the blood; for the blood is the life, and you must not consume the life with the flesh. You must not partake of it; you must pour it out on the ground like water; you must not partake of it, in order that it may go well with you and with your descendants to come, for you will be doing what is right in the sight of the LORD." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 12. 23 - 25 Tanakh, Torah]

Orthodox Jews are very careful in their method of killing animals for food. The slaughtering must cause instantaneous unconsciousness and permit the greatest effusion of blood, giving great regard to prevent the slightest unnecessary suffering. "You shall be holy people to ME — you must not eat flesh torn by beasts in the field; you shall cast it to the dogs." [Exodus (Shemot) 22. 31 Tanakh, Torah] "You must not consume any blood, either of bird or of animal in any of your settlements. Anyone who eats blood shall be cut off from his kin." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 7. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Torah] "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you to make atonement for your lives upon the altar; it is the blood, as life, that makes atonement." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

The precious blood of the LORD YESHUA was drained from HIM for the life of the world. HE was torn by "wild beasts" or "strong bulls of Bashan " according to the prophecy. [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] HE was made "unfit (Hebrew: terefah, tref)" — therefore the Jewish people, as a nation did not partake of HIM. In prophecy they declared: "HE (MESSIAH YESHUA) has no form or beauty, that we should look at HIM; no charm, that we should find HIM pleasing and desire HIM. HE is despised and rejected by men, a MAN of sorrows and suffering, familiar with grief and disease. We hid, as it were, our faces from HIM. HE was despised, we held HIM of no account." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

But, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH was cursed for the sake of the sinner! HE was made "unfit" that the sinner might be accepted in HIM. The LORD JESUS was made sin that all believing on HIM might be made righteous! This was to fulfill the WORD OF GOD concerning the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL WHO is the SAVIOR of the world. For this, I can only bow my knees and humbly thank my WONDERFUL LORD!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O LORD GOD, CREATOR of all, teach us to seek the good and to be wise. Fill us with zeal for knowledge lest ignorance leave us ineffective. Strengthen our faith, that we may kindle the light of YOUR PRESENCE in the hearts of others. Rise up, O LORD, and YOUR enemies shall be scattered, and they that hate YOU shall flee before YOU. For out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from Jerusalem .
Our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly.

Day 31 of the Omer Tiferet Hod― Compassion in Humility
Just as humility brings compassion, compassion can lead one to humility. So, if you lack humility, be compassionate, which can help bring you to humility. Just as humility brings compassion, compassion can lead one to humility. So, if you lack humility, be compassionate, which can help bring you to humility. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up." James 4:10 "Blessed is the man whom YOU instruct, O LORD, and teach out of YOUR law, that YOU may give him rest from the days of adversity." Psalms/Tehillym 94:12-13

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD is not mocked: if you seek HIM — inquire of HIM and for HIM as your first and vital necessity — you will find HIM; but if you forsake HIM, HE will cast you off forever.

REMEMBER BALAAM
"O MY people, REMEMBER what Balak king of Moab plotted against you, and how Balaam son of Beor responded to him. Recall your passage from Shittim to Gilgal — the crossing of the Jordan — and you will recognize the gracious and righteous acts of the LORD." [Micah (Michah) 6. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The NEW COVENANT writers have left us serious reflective warnings in regards to Balaam. Peter warned against the Way of Balaam; the book of Jude, against the Error of Balaam; and John, against the Doctrine of Balaam. CREATOR GOD evidently considers these warnings necessary and appropriate for CHRISTians today as well.

Balaam was a foreigner from Mesopotamia who used sorcery to receive his predictions for which he was famous. [Numbers/B'Midvar 22. 7, 12; 24. 1; Deuteronomy/Devarim 23. 4] ALMIGHTY GOD used him to bless Israel when Balak had hired him to curse Israel . He even received direct revelation from GOD MOST HIGH. Balaam was rebuked by the ALL-KNOWING ONE OF ISRAEL for his iniquity; GOD used a dumb donkey speaking with a man's voice to restrain the madness of the prophet. [2 Peter 2. 16]

The Way of Balaam was a readiness to prostitute one's high spiritual gifts and privileges, for they "loved the wages of unrighteousness." [2 Peter 2. 15] Many are willing to preach contrary to GOD'S HOLY INERRANT WORD for personal gain.

The Error of Balaam was evidently his willingness to compromise his own standards of morality and truth in order run greedily to accommodate those of his pagan patrons "for profit." [Jude 1. 11]

The Doctrine of Balaam was already penetrating in the church in John's day, teachers used their own teaching authority to persuade GOD'S people that it was all right for them to compromise their standards, even "to commit fornication" with their idol-worshipping enemies. "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel , to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality." [Revelation 2. 14]

We are faced with similar influences that are shamefully exploiting true CHRISTian ministry today. Those clear warnings against Balaam-ism are still compelling and urgently essential. That is why the faithful prophet Micah, urged GOD'S people to "REMEMBER Balaam" and his fatally disastrous end — the children of Israel killed him with a sword.

Will you heed OMNIPOTENT GOD'S loving warning, or will you go along with the crowd by discarding the eternal for the temporal? There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end is eternal destruction! ALMIGHTY GOD knows what we can handle, and HE gives us all the things we need to achieve our potential in life. Balaam’s downfall teaches us to appreciate what we have, and not to hope for things that may be out of our league. Because if we do, we might just wind up being rebuked by a donkey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Let us renew our commitment to walk in loving obedience to the LOVING MASTER all the days of our lives. May the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL bless you abundantly. Magnified and sanctified be the GLORIOUS NAME of the LORD GOD in the world which HE created according to HIS will. May HE establish HIS Kingdom during our life and during our days, and during the life of all the House of Israel, even speedily and at a near time, Amen.

Day 32 of the Omer Netzach of Hod― Endurance in Humility
Netzach of Hod underscores the fact that you are neither weak or insecure true. Humility and modesty are not being weak and insecure, rather they are characteristics of enduring strength. "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for CHRIST'S sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10 "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." Proverbs/Mishle 18:16

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The more possessions, the more worries.

PROSPERITY OF THE UNGODLY
"Righteous are YOU, O LORD, when I plead with YOU; yet let me present questions to YOU about YOUR judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are the workers of treachery at ease? YOU have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow, yes, they even bear fruit. YOU are near in their mouths, but far from their thoughts." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 12. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

One of the persistent problems in errant teaching is that of the apparent prosperity of the ungodly along with the suffering of the righteous. Just why would the MAJESTIC CREATOR sanction such a technique?

Job essentially asked this same question as did the prophet Jeremiah several hundreds of years before the MESSIAH came to earth. So, "Why do the wicked live and become old, yes, become mighty and grow wealthy? ...They do not feel the rod of GOD...They spend their days in happiness, and in a moment go down to the grave. Yet they say to GOD — Leave us alone, we do not want to learn YOUR ways. Who is SHADDAI that we should serve HIM? What will we gain by praying to HIM?" [Job (Iyob) 21. 7, 9b, 13 - 15 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Asaph, the psalmist, also opposed — "As for me, my feet almost strayed, my steps were nearly led off course, for I envied of the wanton (shameful, wicked) boastful (arrogant), when I saw the prosperity of the wicked...Until I entered GOD’S sanctuary; then I understood their end (fate)." [Psalms (Tehillym) 73. 3, 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] And King David noted, "Do not fret (be upset, worry) because of evil men, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity; for they shall soon be cut down and wither like the grass, and fade away as the green herb...Be patient and rest in the LORD, and wait enduringly for HIM; do not be vexed (troubled, exasperated) by the prospering man who brings wicked schemes to pass." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 1 - 2, 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The solution to this paradox is not in this present world, but in the world to come, where hell awaits the ungodly, and heaven awaits those whom the LORD GOD has redeemed through faith in MESSIAH YESHUA. The fact that a man may prosper materially in this life is not necessarily a measure of GOD’S approval of his life. The opulence (wealth) of men most usually causes them to be indifferent or even hostile to the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH, but their wealth is merely transitory. Another psalm of David states, "I saw a wicked man in great power, well-rooted like a native green tree. Suddenly he vanished, and behold he was no more; I sought him, but he was not to be found." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 35 - 36 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

If the EVERLASTING ONE does give a few believers material wealth, it is so they may use it for the LORD and for others, not to indulge for themselves. "Thus says the LORD — Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his strength, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but only in this should one glory...that he understands and knows ME, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight — declares the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 22 - 24 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the LIVING GOD, WHO gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." [1 Timothy 6. 17 - 19]

Whatever our state, as we rest in the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, it will be worth it all, when we see HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Celebrating Pesach Sheni― the Second Passover – see Numbers/B’Midvar 9:6-14 Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor, and power and might be to the LORD our GOD forever and ever, Amen & Amen May our blessings be abundant and welcomed!

WEEK 5 ― HOD: HUMILITY
During the fifth week of counting the Omer, we examine and refine the emotional attribute of Hod (humility & modesty). It is acknowledgment (from the root of the Hebrew word "hoda'ah") ― saying "thank you" to GOD. It is clearly recognizing your qualities and strengths ― acknowledging that they are not your own; they were given to you by GOD MOST HIGH for a higher purpose than just satisfying your own needs. Humility is modesty and that is what makes humility impressive.

Day 29 of the Omer Chesed Hod ― Loving-kindness in Humility
Humility brings love and joy, not fear, because it gives you the ability to rise above yourself and love others. A full cup cannot be filled. Don’t be full of yourself; empty yourself so the LORD YESHUA, WHO is greater can increase your previous perceived limits. Humility is sensitivity, it is silent, it is a dynamic expression of life that includes all seven qualities of love, discipline, compassion, endurance, humility, bonding and sovereignty. "Be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous." 1 Peter 3:8-9

Post  Admin Sun 03 May 2015, 8:40 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The MASTER counsels us to be careful to observe all that HE has taught you in HIS HOLY WORD. Obeying HIS commands in wisdom and understanding so others will see you as a people of the HOLY ONE who fear HIM and faithfully walk in HIS footsteps.

OUR CALLING
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called." [Ephesians 4. 1]

As followers of MESSIAH YESHUA, we are called "out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10] Our passion (our holy calling/position in salvation) is identified as "the heavenly calling" [Hebrews 3. 1], which is high and lofty in the sense of majestic "the upward call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 3. 14] We are assured that the called are "called according to HIS purpose." [Romans 8. 28]

We are also instructed to "be even more diligent to make your call and election sure." [2 Peter 1. 10] There are many instructions in HOLY SCRIPTURE regarding our calling, and even though the calling is GOD’S work and prerogative, we are expected to add to our faith "virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love." [2 Peter 1. 5 - 7]

We are "called to be saints." [Romans 1. 7] This is the purpose for which we have been called, invited by GOD to become one of HIS chosen, we are to be holy! Everything in our lifestyle should center around the fact that "we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works." [Ephesians 2. 10]

Other expressed characteristic of our calling are the results of that holy character, which should be the ever-controlling prevailing factor in our lives. The specifically cited traits in this context are attitudes of lowliness [Philippians 2. 1-3], and meekness [Colossians 1. 12 -17], while "endeavoring to keep the unity of the SPIRIT in the bond of peace." [Ephesians 4. 3] This is summarized in Paul’s closing comment to the Corinthian church: "Become complete (perfect). Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the GOD of love and peace will be with you." [2 Corinthians 13. 11]

Just as YESHUA, the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, joyfully submitted to HIS FATHER'S will, we should eagerly, cheerfully, willingly, and enthusiastically submit to GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER.

Day 26 of the Omer Hod Netzach― Humility in Endurance
Thank GOD for giving you extraordinary capability, power, and versatility to endure despite all the trying challenges that come in this life. We draw all our energy and strength from HIM daily, because without HIM, human rational is a sure formula for destruction. "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the LORD has promised to those who love HIM." James 1:12

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To keep yourself in good shape, practice random acts of intelligent thinking and senseless acts of self-control.

AMAZING, ASTONISHING TEACHING
"And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at HIS Teaching." [Matthew 22. 33]

Time and again the multitudes were astonished at the amazing teaching of the LORD JESUS. This occurrence was after the Sadducees questioned the MASTER about the resurrection and HE made it clear that they knew neither the power GOD nor the SCRIPTURES.

The first use teaching, doctrine by the MESSIAH was just after HIS sermon on the Mount, where the people again were astonished at what HE was saying because HIS Word was with such power. [Matthew 7. 28] When JESUS taught in the synagogue at Capernaum — again they were astonished at HIS Teaching, for HE taught them "as one having authority, and not as the scribes." [Mark 1. 21 – 22; also Luke 4. 31 – 34] Even the "scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy HIM; for they feared HIM, because all the people were astonished at HIS teaching." [Mark 11. 18 – 19] And the preaching of the LORD from Paul’s mouth astonished many of the proconsul and they believed when they heard what was being taught and saw what had been done. [see Acts 13. 4 - 12]

MESSIAH YESHUA spoke with authority, not as the scribes for HE held the credentials to declare, "MY doctrine is not MINE, but HIS WHO sent ME. If anyone wills to do HIS will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from GOD or whether I speak on MY OWN authority. Whoever speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but HE who seeks the glory of the ONE who sent HIM is true, and no unrighteousness is in HIM." [John 7. 16 – 19]

Paul taught this astonishing doctrine too being very careful to teach only the WORD OF GOD. This too is our due, to teach only the context of the inerrant, doctrinal authority of GOD’S WRITTEN WORD. Teaching and doctrine are the same, so true instruction is indoctrination "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you" [Matthew 28. 20] — the central theme of MESSIAH’S Great Commission. It is imperative that we, like Paul, "declare to you the whole counsel of GOD" [Acts 20. 27]; for "whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of CHRIST does not have GOD. He who abides in the doctrine of CHRIST has both the FATHER and the SON. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds." [2 John 9 - 11]

Truly, we serve an amazingly astonishing wonderful HOLY MASTER.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcoming Shabbat! May it be YOUR will that the new month bring us a life of peace, a life of goodness, a life of blessing, a life of health, and a life of prosperity.
We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR mercies and grace we were taught the sanctity of the weekly day of rest, Sabbath is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest. Amen

Day 27 of the Omer Yesod of Netzach ― Bonding in Endurance
Bonding is an essential quality of endurance. It expresses your unwavering commitment to GOD MOST HIGH in helping others, a commitment so powerful that you will endure all to preserve it. Endurance without bonding will not endure. "Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established." Proverbs/Mishle 16:3 "Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah/Yeshayah 40:31

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A person's age can be measured by the degree of pain one feels as one comes in contact with a new idea.

WISDOM'S GLORY
"For MY plans are not your plans, nor are MY ways and words yours — declares the LORD. But as the heavens are high above the earth, so are MY ways, plans and words above yours." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 55. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our human standards of value are vastly different from those of the ALMIGHTY OMNIPOTENT CREATOR GOD. The decisive factors that men use are far from being righteous or just. Thus, man's wisdom can only generate pride which is condemned: "Pride goes before ruin; arrogance, before failure." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "When pride appears, disgrace follows; but wisdom is with those who are humble." [Proverbs (Mishle) 11. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

HOLY SCRIPTURE reminds us that there are "not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called...that no flesh should glory in HIS PRESENCE." [1 Corinthians 1. 26, 29] For the "beginning of wisdom is fear of the LORD, and knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding." [Proverbs (Mishle) 9. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We should strive for wisdom, might and riches…but not that of the worlds for they will perish. Rather, in all things we should "commend ourselves as ministers of GOD: In much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the HOLY SPIRIT, by sincere love, by the WORD OF TRUTH, by the POWER OF GOD, by the ARMOR OF RIGHTEOUSNESS on the right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things." [2 Corinthians 6. 4 - 10] Know that GOD'S strength is made perfect in our weakness, HIS grace is sufficient for us. [2 Corinthians 12. 9]

Our true wisdom is manifest in loving-kindness, and justice is the measure of real power; and righteousness our measure of riches. All these are found only in understanding and following our LORD MESSIAH YESHUA. "But GOD forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, by WHOM the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." [Galatians 6. 14] "Thus says the LORD — Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom; let not the strong man glory in his strength; let not the rich man glory in his riches. But only in this should one glory: In his earnest devotion to ME. For I the LORD act with lovingkindness, justice, and righteous equity in the world; for in these I delight — declares the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 23 - 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im] If we glory in anything, it should be in the CHRIST of the cross and personally knowing our wonderful LORD & KING, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, may our lips ever declare praises to our KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD and magnify HIS glory for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us. Blessed are YOU, WHO in YOUR glory gives life and light to the whole world; for YOUR great goodness and endless mercies, we give YOU thanks.
May the LIVING ETERNAL GOD, blessed be HE, hold you close, may HE hold you ever so close in the palm of HIS mighty hand and watch over you. Have a great week honoring the HOLY ONE WHOM we celebrate and adore! Have a most blessed week.

Day 28 of the Omer Malchus of Netzach ― Nobility in Endurance
Dignified sovereignty is the cornerstone of endurance. Endurance that encompasses the previous six qualities is indeed a tribute and testimony to the MAJESTY OF THE LORD GOD, fervently working in the human spirit bringing out the best in yourself and others, walking confident in the strength of my GOD. "For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of GOD, you may receive the promise." Hebrews 10:36 "The LORD GOD is my STRENGTH; HE will make my feet like hind's feet, and HE will make me walk on my high hills." Habakkuk 3:19

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The best preparation for tomorrow is the proper use of today.

GOD WHO BECAME MAN
The MESSIAH OF ISRAEL was promised by COVENANT GOD to come to Israel, first as the lowly Nazarene to suffer and die for the people's sins, then to come the second time as the GLORIOUS RULER and LORD over all the earth. GOD foretold through the prophets of old that this DELIVERER would be born into the Human family through the Tribe of Judah and that HE would also be DIVINE. HE was not to be "a son of GOD" as each Israelite was; but He was to be "THE SON OF GOD" in a unique sense. HE would be "GOD manifested in the flesh." The LIVING ONE had promised Israel that HE would come to dwell in their midst. One of HIS names declares the same truth, for that name is "IMMANU'EL" or "GOD-with-us."

In Hebrew, the term "son of" indicates a relationship and an active part of someone or something. For example, if you would be called a son of peace — you would be a person possessing a peaceful disposition or one who engages in peaceful activities. You might be called "a son of Abraham" — meaning you are of direct descent, or you belong to the people who have the faith of Abraham. The expression, "son of man" — means one who shares human nature and human qualities as well as one who is subject to human weaknesses or infirmities. The term "son of man" can be applied to every human being, but there is only ONE WHO is called "THE SON OF MAN." HE is the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.

The LORD JESUS is not called "a son of GOD" as is everyone who believes in the ALMIGHTY, neither is HE called "a Son of man" as is everyone born into this world — but HE is called "THE SON OF GOD, THE SON OF MAN." YESHUA is human, yet divine. HE is DIVINE, yet HUMAN. This is a mystery and we cannot understand it, but this does not make it impossible to believe and accept. There are mysteries all around us which we cannot understand or explain; yet we accept them. We do not understand how a brown cow can eat green grass and give white milk which, when churned, becomes yellow butter, but we accept it and we partake of it. No one can explain the connection between thought and speech, yet we use thought and speech. So we should not be surprised if we cannot understand incarnation. But though we cannot understand it, we are safe to believe it because GOD HIMSELF declared it would be so; "WHO has ascended heaven or come down? WHO has established all the extremities of the earth? What is HIS NAME or HIS SON'S NAME, if you know it?" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

ELOHIYM created the uttermost extremities of the earth and the heavens. We know also that GOD'S SON is the ONE WHO came down to this earth from heaven, the ONE WHO ascended back up into heaven! And HE was foretold by GOD through HIS prophets as coming again. We read of this ONE, THE SON OF GOD as returning from heaven in a prophecy found in the book of Daniel, "As I looked on, in the night vision, ONE like the SON OF MAN came with the clouds of heaven! — and to HIM was given dominion — that all peoples and nations of every language must serve HIM. HIS dominion is an everlasting kingdom that shall not pass away." [Daniel (Danyel) 7. 13 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Here the EVERLASTING KING, MESSIAH YESHUA is called "THE SON OF MAN." HE had been on earth as a part of humanity, yet here HE is in heaven and returning to earth to receive an Everlasting Kingdom !

Two thousand years ago there was an announcement by the angel to the shepherds keeping watch over their flock at night. The great and wonderful day had arrived for fulfillment of THE INCARNATION as GOD ALMIGHTY had foretold through HIS prophets. Luke's GOSPEL tells, "Then the angel said to them — there is born to you this day in the City of David a SAVIOR, WHO is CHRIST (MESSIAH) the LORD (YEHOWAH)." [Luke 2. 10 - 11]

Thus, the angel was saying that this CHILD WHO was born in Bethlehem (the City of David) is the PROMISED SON OF GOD, the SON OF MAN, IMMANU'EL, GOD-with-us, GOD manifest in the flesh! This CHILD was born as a human being, yet HE is called "THE MESSIAH" and "THE LORD (YEHOWAH)" by the angel who announced it to the shepherds. The MIGHTY CREATOR GOD did come to earth and was manifested in flesh to dwell among HIS people, Israel , exactly as HE had promised!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
May protecting wings arch over each of you as we daily commit our lives into the mighty hands of the LORD JESUS. Thanks be to GOD WHO loved us so much HE gave HIS PRECIOUS SON to take our sins away!

Day 24 of the Omer Tiferet of Netzach ― Compassion in Endurance
Healthy endurance, directed to develop good qualities and modifying bad ones, will always be compassionate. The compassion of endurance reflects a most beautiful quality of endurance: an enduring commitment to help another grow. Endurance needs to be not just loving to those who deserve love, but also compassionate to the less fortunate, without compromising my compassion for others. With GOD’S help and guidance, I am able to have compassion on those who challenge me, while remaining gracious.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto JESUS, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith, WHO for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." Hebrews 12:1-2

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Redeem us, O GOD, from the serfdom of ignorance and irreverence!
Read and study GOD'S WORD to have more than a mole's-stunted amount of intellect capable of discerning right and wrong.

BENEFITS IN SUFFERING
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." [Romans 8. 18]

This is how the Apostle Paul approached suffering, in a positive way. So did James, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials." [James 1. 2] Peter said, "rejoice inasmuch as you partake of CHRIST'S sufferings, that when HIS glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy." [1 Peter 4. 13] And John stated, "you are of GOD, little children, and have overcome them, because HE WHO is in you is greater than he who is in the world." [1 John 4. 4]

Paul reveals three positive benefits with suffering:
Suffering leads to heavenly glory. "If we suffer with HIM, that we may also be glorified together...the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us." [Romans 8. 17 - 18]

Suffering increases our dependence on the COMFORTER, the HOLY SPIRIT for answered prayer. "Likewise, the SPIRIT helps our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the SPIRIT makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." [Romans 8. 26] This allows the perfect will of the ETERNAL MASTER to be accomplished in our life.

Suffering is far outweighed by the permanence of our HOLY GOD'S love. "Who shall separate us from the love of CHRIST? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No! in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM WHO loved us." [Romans 8. 35, 37]

Instead of dwelling on the suffering, help your neighbor with his load, and yours will not feel so heavy. And this will come about as we focus our attentions on the everlasting and measureless love of ALMIGHTY GOD. The INCOMPARABLE & PERFECT HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL is good, loving and exceedingly merciful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Who is like YOU, O KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD? Blessed are YOU, LORD GOD WHO sustains the living with loving-kindness, quickens the dead with great mercy, supports the falling; heals the sick, loosens the bound, and keeps YOUR faith to them that sleep in the dust. YOU are the LORD of mighty acts, WHO judges, WHO kills and quickens, and causes salvation to spring forth. YOU alone are faithful, YOU are holy, and YOUR NAME is holy, and we adore and praise you daily. Selah!

Endurance without compassion is misguided and selfish. Endurance needs to be not just loving to those who deserve love, but also compassionate to the less fortunate, without compromising my compassion for others. With our SAVIOR’S help and guidance, I am able to rise above my ego and have compassion on those who challenge me, while remaining gracious. "Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto JESUS, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith, WHO for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." Hebrews 12:1-2

Post  Admin Tue 28 Apr 2015, 8:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The only motive some people have for listening to reason is to gain time for rebuttal.

DELIGHT IN GOD'S WILL
"To do what pleases YOU, my GOD, is my desire (Hebrew: chaphets — delight, take pleasure in); YOUR Law is in my inmost parts." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This expression by King David was also a manifestation of prophecy that was completely fulfilled by MESSIAH YESHUA WHO said, "MY food is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and to finish HIS work." [John 4. 34] "I came down from heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the will of HIM WHO sent ME." [John 6. 38] "The works that I do in MY FATHER'S NAME, they bear witness of ME." [John 10. 25] "Therefore when HE comes into the world, HE said — Behold, I come, in the volume of the BOOK it is written of ME — to do YOUR will, O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 5, 7]

The heart of the LORD YESHUA was perfectly harmonized with the will of the HEAVENLY FATHER because GOD'S Law was written thereon "not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart." [2 Corinthians 3. 3] Even in the most trying and difficult circumstances to which any man could ever be subjected, JESUS, the ROCK of our salvation could pray, "Nevertheless, not MY will, but YOURS, be done." [Luke 22. 42]

By the INDWELLING SPIRIT OF ALMIGHTY GOD, we also must seek to make the will of the HOLY ONE our greatest delight. We are saved exclusive and completely by grace alone. But, this is not to deliver us from the discipline of GOD'S RIGHTEOUS & PERFECT LAW for the Law is a schoolmaster making us "free from the law of sin and death." [Romans 8. 2]

The HOLY SPIRIT OF TRUTH exposes GOD'S Perfect Law to us continuously as we are obedient to HIS commands which enables us to love HIM more in response. "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD; I will put MY Laws into their hearts, and in their minds and I will write them." [Hebrews 10. 16] Just as the MASTER OF MERCY instructed for the kings of Israel, we likewise should follow the same advise regarding the Law, "And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his GOD and be careful to observe all the words of this Law and these statutes." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 17. 19 Tanakh, Torah]

Like the psalmist David, we learn not to resist the will of the ALMIGHTY ONE, but to love HIS commands and to delight in HIS Law. "O how I love YOUR Law! In it I study and meditate all day long...YOUR decrees are my eternal heritage; they are my heart's rejoicing and delight...I have longed for YOUR salvation and deliverance, O LORD; YOUR Law is my delight." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 97, 111, 174 Tanakh, Kethuvim] There is nothing sweeter or more precious then GOD'S WORD; read it and find engaging treasures for all eternity.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Evening, morning and noon, YOU, O LORD are all-good, YOUR mercies fail not; YOUR loving kindnesses never cease, all our hope is in YOU. For all these things, YOUR NAME, O our KING, shall be continually blessed and exalted for ever and ever.
Barukh atah ADONAI ELOHEINU MELEKH ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah. — Blessed are YOU, LORD our GOD, KING of the Universe, WHO girds Israel with might.

Day 23 of the Omer Gevurah of Netzach ― Discipline in Endurance
Examine the discipline of your endurance. Endurance must be directed toward productive goals and expressed in a constructive manner. Endurance and determination focused to help cultivate good habits and break bad ones. Endurance come from strength out of deep conviction and determination; so don’t let your tenaciousness lack fortitude. "For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that HE is able to keep what I have committed to HIM until that Day." 2 Timothy 1:12

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 24 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Mon 27 Apr 2015, 11:52 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Be proficient at doing good  but completely elementary when it comes to doing evil.

SALVATION WORK OUT
"Therefore my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." [Philippians 2. 12]

Our spiritual duties must be our own hearts actions; thus we must learn to walk and stand alone instead of leaning on other personal influences. We are not told to work for our salvation, but "to work it out" — that is, to demonstrate its reality in our daily lives by obedience. Our salvation must be received by grace only, and grace is free, through faith; not of works, or it is not true salvation. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast." [Ephesians 2. 8 - 9] Works cannot keep our salvation any more than it can earn it. It is not faith and works that saves us, but grace through faith.

However, a CHRISTian believer can, by demonstration testify — "I will show you my faith by my works." [James 2. 18] Good works consisting of a righteous and gracious life-style, considerate of others and obedient to the LORD JESUS' commandments are the visible evidences of salvation. We have been "created in MESSIAH YESHUA unto good works, which GOD has before ordained that we should walk in them." [Ephesians 2. 10] "Serve the LORD in awe (reverential, respectful fear); rejoice with trembling." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

On the basis of CHRIST JESUS' sacrificial death, glorious resurrection and exaltation [Philippians 2. 8-11] that "it is GOD WHO works in you both to will and to do HIS good pleasure." [Philippians 2. 13] CREATOR GOD is enabling us to "work out" our salvation in visible practice, through the indwelling COMFORTER, the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD.

It is appropriately striking that the life of a genuinely born-anew CHRISTian, possessing true salvation, should be "blameless and harmless sons of GOD…as lights in the world; holding forth the WORD OF LIFE." [Philippians 2. 15 – 16] Inevitably (completely essential), we must "examine ourselves as to whether we be in the faith." [2 Corinthians 13. 5] We are ever reminded that "we know that we know HIM, IF we keep HIS commandments." [1 John 2. 3] And, "whoever does not practice righteousness is not of GOD, nor is he who does not love his brother." [1 John 3. 10] But, with the LORD GOD in the center of our lives, the best, most exciting and joy-filled life is ours. . . even in this troubled world.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, we are praying for you our friends, both Jew or Gentile. May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life. Oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May each of you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it. Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight. May the message of GOD'S PRECIOUS WORD and the love of YESHUA ha’MASHIACH the SAVIOR bless you and bubble-up in your heart to overflowing. Amen
Beloved brethren, we encourage you to stand firm and confident in the LORD YESHUA. May you be filled with HIS wisdom, knowledge, righteous discernment, and boldness especially as we go forth in the battle against the enemies of our saving faith. Go forth victoriously into the week and take some of Sabbath's sweetness with you.

Day 21 of the Omer Malchut of Tiferet ― Nobility in Compassion
For compassion to be complete [and enhance the other six aspects of compassion] it must recognize and appreciate individual uniqueness. It should boost self-esteem and cultivate human dignity; both your own and the dignity of the one benefiting from your compassion. Compassion draws out dignity in others. When you experience compassion as dignified it will reflect equally in the one who receives compassion. "Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"How great that man would be were he not so arrogant." [Talmud, Kallah Rabbah 3 – Proverb] The greater you are, the more you must humble yourself.

GRACE IN QUIETNESS
"But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." [Matthew 12. 36]

"Let your speech always be with grace" [Colossians 4. 6] the HOLY SCRIPTURE says— "seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man...and...strive to lead a quiet life, and to mind your own business." [1 Thessalonians 4. 11]

There is a sin of talkativeness and many are tormented by it and suffer because of it. HOLY WRIT continues to teach us, "A knowledgeable man is sparing with his words. Even a fool, if he keeps silent, is deemed wise; and intelligent, if he seals his lips." [Proverbs (Mishle) 17. 27 - 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Keep your mouth from being rash, and let not your mouth be quick to bring forth speech before GOD. For GOD is in heaven and you are on earth; that is why your words should be few. Just as dreams come with much brooding, so does foolish utterance come with much speech." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 5. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "A wise man's talk brings him favor, but a fool's lips are his undoing. His talk begins as silliness and ends as disastrous madness, yet the fool talks and talks!" [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 10. 12 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." [James 1. 19] "Let your Yes be YES! and your No be NO! — for whatever is more than these comes from the evil one." [Matthew 5. 37]

"The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but lawlessness covers the mouth of the wicked. The lips of the righteous sustain many, but fools die for lack of sense. Where there is much talking, there is no lack of transgressing, but he that curbs his tongue shows sense." [Proverbs (Mishle) 10. 11, 19, 21 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting; but rather giving of thanks." [Ephesians 5. 4]

There are many other such warnings regarding talking and all should be sobering. The OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT ALMIGHTY GOD has a recording of all our conversations, and we will be required to explain all words we spoke which were not gracious and edifying. We should take heed and not even mention any hurtful or profane words, control our pointless, useless and empty conversations, and quit the sin of talking too much; then cultivate prayerfully the GRACE OF QUIETNESS in all meekness.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our prayer for each of you is to have first-hand knowledge of our living salvation through our GREAT MESSIAH, YESHUA the KING. Be sure to share this HOPE with someone today, that your joy may be full! Our AWESOME HOLY GOD is worthy of all our praise and worship, even in difficult times.

WEEK 4 ― NETZACH: ENDURANCE
During the fourth week of counting the Omer, we examine and refine the emotional attribute of Netzach (means endurance, fortitude, ambition - it is a combination of determination and tenacity balancing patience, persistence and guts.) Endurance is also being reliable and accountable, which establishes security and commitment. Without endurance, any good intention has no chance of success. Endurance means to be alive, to be driven by what counts, a close and faithful relationship with the DIVINE MASTER. It is the readiness to fight for what you believe.

Day 22 of the Omer Chesed Netzach ― Loving-kindness in Endurance
For anything to endure, it needs to be loved. "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you expect.

IN SEARCH OF MESSIAH
The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is not a man that HE could lie and when HE makes a promise, HE will keep it. The RIGHTEOUS ONE says what HE means and means what HE says! In the TORAH (OLD COVENANT) we read many prophecies concerning the coming MESSIAH. OMNIPOTENT GOD anointed holy men of Israel to write these promises and there is much said of this ONE SUPREME PERSON WHO was to come. The "CENTRAL FIGURE" of the HOLY SCRIPTURES is the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. We see HIM on every page of GOD'S Law. Every incident or person that is mentioned in the OLD TESTAMENT points to the PIERCED ONE in some way to bring out a greater revelation of HIM.

In the NEW COVENANT also we read how YESHUA THE MESSIAH, referred to the TORAH many times as picturing HIMSELF. After HE had resurrected from the grave and was walking with two of HIS disciples on the road to Emmaus, HE lovingly rebuked them for their sadness over HIS crucifixion: "Then HE said to them — O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in ALL THAT THE PROPHETS HAVE SPOKEN! Ought not the CHRIST to have suffered these things and to enter into HIS glory?" [Luke 24. 25 - 26] The LORD JESUS rebuked them for not believing all the prophetic pictures of HIMSELF. Then HE continues speaking to them repeating what the prophets said, "And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, HE expounded to them in all the SCRIPTURES the things concerning HIMSELF." [Luke 24. 27]

Take note: The MESSIAH said —ALL the SCRIPTURES speak of HIM. The "SCRIPTURES" to which HE referred to was the TANAKH (the entire OLD COVENANT). There was no NEW TESTAMENT at that time, it didn't appear until some years after YESHUA was crucified and was resurrected.

Studying the NEW COVENANT, you would find there are 190 references to the TORAH (Five Books of Moses); 101 references to the KETHUVIM (WRITINGS); and 104 references to the book of Isaiah and 30 references to the Minor Prophets. In all, there are 639 references or quotes from the TANAKH in the NEW COVENANT. Over and over again, you will find the words — "it is Written" or "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Prophets" or "as the SCRIPTURE says" or "according to the SCRIPTURES."

Any open-minded, unbiased Jew (or Gentile) will be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is only ONE PERSON in all the Universe who can possibly fit into all the details of prophecy of the MESSIAH found in the HOLY BIBLE, GOD'S INFALLIBLE WRITTEN WORD.

Daniel tells of MESSIAH'S coming before the second destruction of Jerusalem . Moses declared that the MESSIAH was to appear while Judah "held the Scepter" as the royal tribe of Israel . The Sanhedrin was the law-making body of Judah before they were dispersed. Micah, the Jewish prophet, writes that MESSIAH was to come from the line of David. Moses writes HE must be a descendant of Abraham. The Jewish prophet, Isaiah, declares that the LORD would give a supernatural sign concerning the conception of the ANOINTED ONE. HIS conception and birth would be like no other as it would be of a miraculous nature. Jeremiah and Isaiah both write that the MESSIAH was to have a Human and a Divine nature. Jeremiah says HE would be righteous and would be identified as, "THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Isaiah declares that the COMING SAVIOR would be a "CHILD" born to Israel and would be called "WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 9. 6], and that authority was settled on HIS shoulders.

If you object to the fact that MESSIAH will be both "HUMAN" and "DIVINE" — study again the OLD COVENANT and discover that OMNIPOTENT CREATOR GOD appeared in HUMAN form to Abraham, to Jacob, to Manoah, to Joshua and others. Many SCRIPTURE portions relate this fact of the HUMAN and the DIVINE in the PERSON of YESHUA ha’MASHIACH.

Daniel, Isaiah, and others prophesied that the ANOINTED ONE was to come to atone for the iniquities of the people and to bring in everlasting righteousness. In the Psalms, David writes of MESSIAH'S death, resurrection and coming again. And there are many more portions of the TANAKH, which speak of HIM. However, one must conclude that Peter's message of 2,000 years ago to his own Jewish brethren is still a message to our Jewish people today—

"But those things which GOD foretold by the mouth of all HIS prophets, that the CHRIST would suffer, HE has thus fulfilled. — Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the LORD, and that HE may send JESUS CHRIST, WHO was preached to you before, WHOM heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which GOD has spoken by the mouth of all HIS holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said to the fathers — The LORD your GOD will raise up for you a PROPHET like me from your brethren. HIM you shall hear in all things, whatever HE says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that PROPHET shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. — Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that GOD made with our fathers, saying to Abraham — And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. — To you first, GOD, having raised up HIS SERVANT JESUS, sent HIM to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities." [Acts 3. 18 - 26]

Today, will you believe the words of the Jewish prophets and accept the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH as your SOON-COMING KING?

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Good Sabbath! The rest of love freely given — a rest of truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor. We bow the head and bend the knee and magnify the KING of kings, the HOLY ONE, praised be HE. MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises and consolations that may be uttered in this world. Amen!
Have a peaceful, enriching Shabbat with the deliberate intention of blessing someone else.

Day 20 of the Omer Yesod of Tiferet ― Bonding in Compassion
For compassion to be fully realized, it needs bonding. It requires creating a channel between giver and receiver; a mutuality that extends beyond the moment of need. A bond that continues to live on. That is the most gratifying result of true compassion. Befriend the one you have compassion for, ensure that something eternal is built as a result of your compassion. When things around you appear dark and terrifying, hold on to the promises of the LORD GOD. HE is in complete control. "The ROCK! — HIS deeds are perfect; Yes! all HIS ways are just; a FAITHFUL GOD, never false, true and just is HE." Deuteronomy/Devarim 32:4

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7

ISRAEL’S INDEPENDENCE DAY — YOM HA’ATZMA’UT
"Can a land give birth in a single day? Or shall a nation be born all at once? Yet Zion travailed and at once bore her children! Shall I WHO bring on labor not bring about birth? — says the LORD. Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb? — says your GOD. Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad with her, all you who love her! Join in her jubilation, all you who mourn over her — that you may suck from her breast consolation to the fill, that you may drink deeply from her bosom and be delighted with the abundance of her glory." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 8 – 11 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Command to Settle the Land of Israel: On 5 Iyyar 5708 (May 14, 1948 on the Gregorian Calendar), when the establishment of the State of Israel was declared, the Nation of Israel merited to fulfill the TORAH’S command to settle the Land of Promise. Individual Jews lived in the Land prior to this, it is true, but the commandment applies to the entire nation, which is bidden to bring the Land under Jewish sovereignty. [see Deuteronomy/Devarim 11 & 31; Numbers/Midbar 33 & 53; & Nachmanides’ Commentary] Jewish Law, in fact, rules that the obligation to mourn destroyed cities in the Land of Israel is dependent on Jewish sovereignty.

The Beginning of Redemption & Sanctification of GOD’S NAME: The establishment of the State of Israel removed the disgrace of Exile. For generation after generation, we wandered in the Diaspora, we suffered terrible humiliation and pogroms, we were a subject of mockery among the nations, and we were subject to mass slaughter. Observers saw us and said there was no hope for us. This was a situation of terrible — desecration of GOD'S NAME — for "you (Israel) are called by GOD'S NAME." [Deuteronomy/Devarim 28]

GOD'S HOLY WORD, as prophesied in so many places in the HOLY WORD, was that HE would return us to the Land. But with the passing of so many centuries in which this was not fulfilled, the desecration of GOD'S NAME increased, and Israel 's enemies concluded that Israel would never return. And then the miracle happened [May 14, 1948], and GOD'S WORD was fulfilled. This was a great sanctification of GOD'S NAME, and it became even stronger during the Six Day War when we liberated Jerusalem and the holy cities in Judea and Samaria .

This process of the Ingathering of the Exiles and the flowering of the desert is the beginning of the promised Redemption. As the Talmud states, "There is no clearer sign of the Redemption than this, as is written in the Book of Ezekiel — "But you, O mountains of Israel, shall yield your produce and bear your fruit for MY people Israel, for their return is near." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 36. 8 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Yes, there is still much to improve and put right; unfortunately, we have not all merited to do teshuvah [return, repentance] and move to the Land of Israel . But our Sages have taught that there are two types of Redemption — full repentance leading to miraculous Redemption, and the type that takes place through natural processes, accompanied by great difficulties and hardships. These will cause the Jewish People to return home — and thus we will progress, step by step, until the Complete Redemption.

Jewish Salvation: On Independence Day 1948, the Jewish Nation was saved. It went from a state of subservience to the nations, to one of political freedom. We also went from a situation of potential death, in that we were unable to defend ourselves from our mortal enemies, to one of life, because since that time we have fought our enemies and, with the help of ALMIGHTY GOD, emerged victorious.

Some 21,000 Jews have been killed in the 60 years since the State was established — but just a few years before that, during the Holocaust, six million holy Jews were murdered over the course of just five years — a rate of nearly 3,500 times more.

This day was a salvation even for Jews living in the Diaspora, in that they now had a country that would always be able to take them in, and even works on their behalf in the international arena. Even the Communist regimes were forced to allow Jews to leave — something that would have been inconceivable before the State of Israel was established.

Spiritual Relief: Spiritually, as well, the Jewish People were saved by the State of Israel. For various reasons, a great spiritual crisis overtook the Jewish People over the past 200 years, and as countries modernized, the Jews became more assimilated. In the United States , for instance, most young Jews marry non-Jews, and those who marry Jews have relatively few children. The Jewish communities abroad are thus getting smaller and smaller. Only in the State of Israel is the Jewish population growing, and assimilation is relatively sparse.

Furthermore, the percentage of Jews in Israel who are connected to TORAH and an observant lifestyle is larger than in any other Jewish concentration in the world. This spiritual salvation was the result of the establishment of the State of Israel, which enabled the Ingathering of the Exiles and obviated the lures of world-wide assimilation.

Thus, Israel Independence Day (Yom Ha’Atzmau’t - observed 4 Iyyar 5775) is thus decorated with three layers of holiness: the holiness of the commandment of settling the Land; the holiness of the Sanctification of GOD'S NAME and the beginning of the Redemption; and the holiness of the physical and spiritual salvation of the Jewish People and blessings to the whole world when they turn to MESSIAH YESHUA.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Happy 67th Birthday, Israel! Remembering Yom ha'Atzma’ut, Israel ’s Independence Day — Israel’s unique determination, tough resistance, courage and integrity and ingenuity. Though nominally celebrated on the 4th day of Iyyar (ה' באייר) in the Hebrew calendar (corresponding to April 23rd this year) — the anniversary of the day in which Israel Independence was proclaimed, when David Ben-Gurion publicly read the Israeli Declaration of Independence. Yom ha'Atzma’ut centers around the declaration of the establishment of the State of Israel on the 14th of May 1948. Our hope is not yet lost — to be a free nation in our own land.
The special prayer for Independence Day begins with Psalm 107, in which we say, “Hodu la’ha’Shem — Give thanks to GOD for HE is good, HIS kindness is everlasting.” The Psalm lists those who must give this thanks — “those who are redeemed by GOD, those whom HE has redeemed from enemies, and gathered them from different lands, from east and west, north and south.”
Obedience will be righteousness for us, as we are careful to observe all the commandments of the LORD our GOD. May you witness the care, love and presence of the MOST HOLY ONE this day and always..

Day 19 of the Omer Hod of Tiferet― Humility in Compassion
If compassion is not to be condescending (proud), it must include humility. Hod is recognizing that my ability to be compassionate and giving does not make me better than the recipient; it is the acknowledgment and appreciation to GOD for giving me the gift of being able to bestow compassion instead of being haughtiness. Be humble and thankful to GOD; ask HIM for the ability to have the gift of compassion for others and to keep you humble and thankful. Put together all the tenderest love you know of, the deepest you have ever felt, and the strongest that has ever been poured out upon you, and heap upon it all the love of all the loving human hearts in the world, and then multiply it by infinity, and you will begin, perhaps, to have some faint glimpse of what the love of GOD is. "But GOD be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart." Romans 6:17

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We [Israel] are great, and our foibles and responsibilities are great, and therefore our troubles are great – but our consolations will also be great.
Worry does not empty tomorrows struggles — it empties your strength for today.

LESSONS LEARNED
"But go and learn what this means — I desire mercy and not sacrifice. — For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." [Matthew 9. 13]

The LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH "came into the world to save sinners" [1 Timothy 1. 15], and continues to call all who would be HIS disciples to "learn from [and of] ME" [Matthew 11. 29]; and the text contains the first use of "learn" in the NEW COVENANT, thus signifying a basic item we must learn when we become true followers of the SAVIOR.

MESSIAH stressed that the ALMIGHTY ONE cared nothing about the ritualistic offering of animal sacrifices, as such, but rather desired understanding of the meaning of those sacrifices, accompanied by the motivating love and faith of a repentant heart. HE referred them back to their own SCRIPTURES: "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice; obedience to GOD, rather than burnt offerings." [Hoses (Hoshea) 6. 6 Tanakh, Nevi’im] This is generally difficult, but it is the most crucial fundamental lesson to learn by one seeking forgiveness and salvation.

There are continually many lessons to learn afterwards — most will be difficult even for sincere, believing CHRISTians. The Apostle Paul comments about one of them he had learned the hard way, "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content." [Philippians 4. 11] Another intricate but very essential lesson has to do with the CHRISTian humility in leadership, understanding the WRITTEN WORD — "that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other." [1 Corinthians 4. 6] Because, "all SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." [2 Timothy 3. 16 - 17]

Even in HIS perfect humanity, the LORD YESHUA had lessons to learn — "though HE was a SON, yet HE learned obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 8]

Ultimately, having learned these and many other such lessons, we must not forget them. Paul, in his final letter, so reminds us to — "continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from WHOM you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in CHRIST JESUS." [2 Timothy 3. 14 - 15] May we learn and be able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Remembering Yom Ha'Zikaron, the day on which Israel honors its fallen servicemen and women. Scheduling Yom Ha'Zikaron is observed on the 4th day of the month Iyyar on the Hebrew calendar (corresponding to April 22nd this year), always one day before Israel Independence Day on the 5th day of Iyyar, the anniversary of the Proclaiming of the State of Israel in 1948. It is intended to remind people of the price paid for independence and of what was achieved with the soldiers' sacrifice. Since the establishment of Israel they have been forced to defend themselves on too many an occasion. This past year, tragically, was no different. Again, some of Israel ’s finest of our children, friends, and colleagues had to pay with their lives to secure that elementary right to national self-determination. We grieve their loss deeply yet remain, always, resilient with a view to the future: building, innovating, creating, and confident that Israel and the world will one day live in both peace and security – this will happen just as the great GOD OF ISRAEL promised.
When things around you appear dark and terrifying, hold on to the promises of LORD GOD. HE is in complete control. "The ROCK! — HIS deeds are perfect; Yes! all HIS ways are just; a FAITHFUL GOD, never false, true and just is HE." [Deuteronomy/Devarim 32. 4] Great and mighty is our MERCIFUL & LOVING GOD. Believe on YESHUA, the LOVING SAVIOR, for because of HIM we can face tomorrow and be comforted now knowing we have been changed for a reason, transformed, not for a season, but transformed for Eternal Life.

Day 18 of the Omer Netzach of Tiferet― Endurance in Compassion
Compassion is enduring and consistent, it is reliable prevailing among other forces in life. Compassionate is evident even when you are busy with other activities not when it's just comfortable for you. "Have compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3:8-9

Post  Admin Wed 22 Apr 2015, 4:58 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When passion burns within you, remember that it was given to you for a good purpose. [Hassidic saying]

GOD’S VIEW OF SEX
"And GOD created man in HIS image; in the image of GOD HE created him; male and female HE created them. GOD blessed them and GOD said to them — Be fertile and increase." [Genesis (Bereshit) 1. 27 - 28 Tanakh, Torah]

Human sexuality was originally given to be a blessing. Man and woman were created in the Image of ALMIGHTY GOD. Nudity was not a sin but was pure and good. The man and woman were both naked before the HOLY ONE, and GOD saw everything HE had made and, "indeed it was very good."

The woman was cherished by man from the very first. When the MASTER DESIGNER created the woman out of the rib HE took from the side of the man and brought her to the man, Adam looked at the naked woman and said, "This one at last is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called woman (‘ishshah) for from man (‘’ish) she was taken." [Genesis (Bereshit) 2. 23 Tanakh, Torah]

CREATOR GOD accepted Adam’s response, when he saw the woman. GOD said — That is correct, "hence a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, so they shall become one flesh." [Genesis (Bereshit) 2. 24 Tanakh, Torah] Physical intimacy contains within it the highest potential for spirituality. It is one of the greatest means a married couple is given to express holiness.

The attraction and responsibility between the man and woman was given by the ETERNAL ONE. The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY put in the heart of the woman a desire to please her husband, and gave the man responsibility over the woman to care for her and protect her. Notice, this did not include abuse or misuse of any kind. All commandments by GOD regarding the relationship between man and woman are for the protection and care of the woman. Sexuality is like a mighty river. If harnessed, it can bring irrigation and magnificent energy to countless communities. If unharnessed and out of control, it brings floods and destruction.

After the Great Flood, which came to remove violence of mankind from the earth, GOD renewed the blessing to Noah and said, "Be fertile and increase and fill the earth." [Genesis (Bereshit) 9. 1 Tanakh, Torah] Because of the tendency of mankind to turn to violence and wickedness, GOD gave laws regulating behavior and human sexuality. The following are specific sexual relationships & practices the HOLY & RIGHTEOUS LORD has forbidden: Adultery.

Forbidden sexual contact: [Leviticus chapter 18]
Adultery.
Bestiality (sexual relations with an animal)
Incest (sex with near relative)
Mother
Step Mother
Sister or half-sister
Granddaughter
Half-sister
Aunt (father's side)
Aunt (mother's side)
Aunt (uncle's wife, father's side)
Daughter-in-law
Sister-in-law (brother's wife)
A Woman and her Daughter and her Granddaughter
Sister-in-law (wife's sister)
And, do not marry your wife's sister while your wife is still living.

Additional & Repeated Commandments
Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her menstrual period.
Do not commit adultery.
Do not give your children to be sacrificed to Molech.
Homosexuality, forbidden as an abomination (outrage, disgrace, repugnance, loathsome, abhorrence, detestation) to the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY GOD. [see Romans 1.18-32]
Bestiality (sexual relations with an animal). [see Leviticus/Vayikra 18]

These sins are the reason the land had been defiled and had vomited out its inhabitants that Israel was commanded to utterly destroy; and the ones not only practiced, but most are legalized in America. What fools we have been these last sixty years. We put the wolf in charge of the hen house, then wonder that our children are being devoured. Tolerance of what GOD calls wickedness, and appeasement toward the ones given to it, does not make the public more noble, but the reverse, they become more debauched and depraved.

GOD forewarned: "Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for it is by such that the nations are defiled; which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. You must therefore keep MY statutes and MY judgments, you must not commit any of these abhorrent things, neither any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you for all these abominations were done by the people who were in the land before you, and the land was defiled, the land will vomit you out also when you defile it." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 18. 24 - 28 Tanakh, Torah] Every nation whose people persistently do these things will soon bring the wrathful judgment of GOD down on its own head and be destroyed.

Always remember what GOD forewarned about those who are sexually immoral, "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." [Revelation 21. 8] It would be prudently wise and most sensible to "Fear GOD and keep HIS commandments! For this applies to all mankind: that GOD will call every creature to account for all their conduct, be it good or bad. For GOD will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 12. 13 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Be warned! ...because of your sin, the Lake of Fire is your eternal destination. However, if and you want valid information on how to change your eternal destiny, please feel free to Email and we will be glad to send you valuable information to help you find the way to a blessed eternity with MESSIAH YESHUA, the ONE WHO died that you might live. We care about your eternal soul.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Blessings to all who love Zion! We were greatly blessed when the HOLY ONE has brought us out of slavery from Egypt and took HIS people directly to Mount Sinai. There HE gave us the Law to keep us free from slavery (to sin). Then, HE gave us HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, YESHUA ha’MASHIACH to keep us free and give us true peace and eternal rest in HIM. HalleluYAH! What a SAVIOR!

Day 16 of the Omer Gevurah of Tiferet ― Discipline in Compassion
For compassion to be effective and healthy it needs to be disciplined and focused. It requires discretion both to whom you express compassion, and in the measure of the compassion itself. It is recognizing when compassion should be expressed and when it should be withheld or limited. Discipline in compassion is knowing that being truly compassionate sometimes requires withholding compassion. Because compassion is not an expression of the bestower's needs but a response to the recipient's needs. "Create in me a clean heart, O GOD, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from YOUR PRESENCE, and do not take YOUR HOLY SPIRIT from me." Psalms/Tehillym 51:10-11

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There are four types of men; the one who says,
"Mine is mine and yours is yours." —The Commonplace or Sodom type.
"Mine is yours and yours is mine" —The Am'ha-Arez (Deficient & Covetous) type.
"Mine is yours and yours is yours." —The Saint.
"Mine is mine and yours is mine." —The Wicked.

MESSIAH & THE FOUR THIEVES
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." [John 10. 10]

There are four different thieves mention in the NEW COVENANT: The first was Judas Iscariot, the disciple, was the first thief involved in the events surrounding the crucifixion of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. Definitely, Judas was the thief in charge of the money box and was known for taking what was in it. [John 12. 6] Judas' epithet: "Betrayer of The KING OF GLORY."

Barabbas, the second thief, was also a troublemaker and had committed murderer in the insurrection. [Mark 15. 7; John 18. 40] This convicted criminal, sentenced to death, was released, as was the custom at Passover. . . and JESUS OF NAZARETH, the KING OF THE JEWS, was condemned to die the horrible death by crucifixion.

"Two robbers were crucified with HIM (MESSIAH) one on the right and another on the left." [Matthew 27. 38] One of the condemned (the third thief) belittled and ridiculed the MASTER saying — "If YOU are the CHRIST, save YOURSELF and us." [Luke 23. 39 — fulfilling prophecy of MESSIAH, Psalms/Tehillym 22. 8]

However, the fourth thief believed the SAVIOR and said, "we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this MAN has done nothing wrong. Then he said to JESUS — LORD, remember me when YOU come into YOUR Kingdom. And JESUS said to him — Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with ME in Paradise." [Luke 23. 41 - 43]

The four thieves were all deserving the punishment of death. Judas, the betrayer, ended his own life in suicide. Barabbas was a beneficiary — though only for a time. On the cross, one criminal was a mocker, whose ultimate destiny was Hell and the Lake of Fire. But the thief who believed only moments before his death, received Salvation and Eternal Life. The LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO took on HIMSELF the penalty for thieves and robbers, can save anyone who comes to HIM because the REDEEMER\MEDIATOR came "that we might have life, and have it more abundantly." [John 10. 10] Who so ever will. . . Come!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O magnify the LORD with me and let us exalt HIS NAME together. HIS glory is in the earth and in the heavens. HE is the STRENGTH of all HIS servants, the PRAISE of them that truly love HIM, the HOPE OF ISRAEL, the people HE brought near to HIMSELF. HIS Law is a Tree of Life to them that lay hold of it, and the supporters thereof are happy. Its ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace. HalleluYAH!

Day 17 of the Omer Tiferet Tiferet― Compassion in Compassion
True compassion is limitless. It is not an extension of your needs and defined by your limited perspective. Compassion for another is achieved by having a selfless attitude, expressing compassion and empathy in your heart. "Endure all things lest we hinder the Gospel of CHRIST.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
May your lips ever speak wisdom and your fulfillment be in righteousness even as you ever yearn to hear the LIFE-GIVING WORDS of the FAITHFUL ANCIENT ONE.

PRAISING OUR GOD
"You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." [1 Peter 2. 5]

In the OLD COVENANT it was the Levitical priesthood that was responsible for Israel . The Levites performed "his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices" in atonement for the sins of the people, and this continued until MESSIAH YESHUA "offered for all time one sacrifice for sins." [Hebrews 10. 11 - 12] The old priesthood has now been set aside. Only the sacrifice of our PERFECT REDEEMER and our own personal identification with HIM, by faith, is acceptable for our salvation.

Nonetheless, there is a new priesthood — a spiritual priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices — and it is vital that we who are now HIS priests offer sacrifices that are acceptable and well pleasing to ALMIGHTY GOD. We first are to present our "bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GOD — this is your spiritual act of worship." [Romans 12. 1] Our bodies are to be reserved for GOD OMNIPOTENT, for we are "a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to GOD, that you may declare the praises of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS wonderful light." [1 Peter 2. 9]

After presenting our bodies, the next acceptable sacrifices are to "continually offer to GOD a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess HIS NAME. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices GOD is pleased." [Hebrews 13. 15 - 16] "Enter HIS gates with praise, HIS courts with acclamation. Praise HIM! Bless HIS NAME!" [Psalms (Tehillym) 100. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

As we continually offer praises to GOD, the ALL-WISE CREATOR, in all circumstances — acknowledging HIS wisdom and goodness is our acceptable (Hebrew: ratsown - delight, pleasure, desire) sacrifice. Doing good works, not for our salvation which is a free gift, but because of our salvation, is acceptable. And when we share what we have with others, our sacrifices are "well pleasing" to GOD our MAKER. It is an honor and a privilege as HIS holy priesthood to offer up these spiritual sacrifices to our MAGNIFICENT GREAT KING as we look forward to "that blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great GOD & SAVIOR, CHRIST JESUS THE KING." [Titus 2. 13]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem us, O GOD, from the serfdom of ignorance and irreverence that we continue to fulfill YOUR Great Commission as YOUR servants and witnesses. Strengthen our hearts with unwavering faith and quiet peaceful trust in YOUR providence. Then we shall become champions of justice upon earth. Teach us to emulate YOUR grace and mercy, Amen!
[Welcoming in Rosh Chodesh – the new moon and month of Iyyar.]

WEEK 3 ― TIFERET (means beauty): HARMONY, COMPASSION
Day 15 of the Omer Chesed of Tiferet ― Loving-kindness in Compassion
GOD’S love is the best example of compassion. Compassion tender and loving; overflowing with love and warmth; is it expressed with enthusiasm. When HE gave HIS GREATEST GIFT, HIS SON to die for our sins, it showed in the most extensive way, what love is. "For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved." John 3:16-17

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A storekeeper does not hang up a sign on his store if he has nothing to sell!

LISTEN & LEARN
"My children, listen to the instructions of your father, give attention and learn discernment, for I give you good doctrine; Do not forsake my law." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Book of Proverbs is a great source for human wisdom as well as GODLY understanding. In it we learn, "wisdom and discipline; and understanding words of discernment; acquiring discipline for success, righteousness, justice and equity; and for endowing the simple with shrewdness, the young with knowledge and foresight." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Many of the Proverbs, written by Solomon, were teachings from his father, David.

Wisdom teaches the urgent importance for children to listen and obey the counsel of their GODLY parents. This command is most important today, as it is one of the prevalent characteristics of the "last days." It is foretold that children will be "disobedient to parents." [2 Timothy 3. 1 - 2] It would be much better for children today to obey the GODLY instruction, "Children, obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. — Honor your father and mother — which is the first commandment with promise." [Ephesians 6. 1 - 2]

How zealously significant that each lesson stresses the urgent importance of young people to obey the WORD of ALMIGHTY GOD, which is to be taught to them by their parents. Wise counsel, learning, discretion, instruction, knowledge, understanding and wisdom are promised repeatedly to those who know, love and obey GOD'S HOLY WORD.

"My son, if you accept my words and treasure up my commandments; if you make your ear attentive to wisdom, and your mind open to discernment; if you call to understanding and cry aloud to knowledge, if you seek her (wisdom) as you do silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and attain knowledge of GOD." [Proverbs (Mishle) 2. 1 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Parents must teach their children so they will have an understanding of GOD and HIS holiness. Children must listen, comply and conform — then, all the treasures of heaven are within reach. "The fear of the LORD is the beginning (and the best part) of knowledge and wisdom." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Make every effort, the best awaits you and is available for the taking!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life, fill our upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE. May the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in HIM, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Have a wonderful week expecting great blessings from our Wonderful LORD GOD. Be sure to brighten others with encouragement and a joyful smile! Enjoy some of the sweetness of Sabbath throughout your week days!
Go with GOD.

Day 14 of the Omer Malchut of Gevurah ― Nobility of Discipline
Discipline, like love, must enhance personal dignity. Discipline that breaks a person will backfire. Healthy discipline should bolster self-esteem and help draw out the best in a person; cultivating his control. When disciplining your child or student, foster his self-respect. "He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him promptly." Proverbs/Mishle 13:24

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In BIBLICAL days prophets were astir while the world was asleep. Today the world is astir while churches and synagogues are busy with trivialities. [Abraham Joshua Herschel]

WRITTEN BY GOD'S FINGER
"It shall be a sign for all time between ME and the people of Israel . For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day HE ceased from work and was refreshed. When HE finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai , HE gave Moses the two TABLES OF THE PACT, stone tablets inscribed with the finger of GOD." [Exodus (Shemot) 31. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Torah]

"All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of GOD" [2 Timothy 3. 16], but this portion of SCRIPTURE was given by direct inscription of SOVEREIGN LORD GOD HIMSELF! Moses testified, "The LORD gave me the two Tables of Stone inscribed by the finger of GOD, with the exact words that the LORD had addressed to you out of the fire on the day of the Assembly." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 9. 10 Tanakh, Torah] "HE wrote down on the Tables the terms of the Covenant, the Ten Commandments." [Exodus (Shemot) 34. 28 Tanakh, Torah] Thus, out of all the HOLY SCRIPTURES, GOD MOST HIGH chose to write this section, not through one of HIS prophets, but with HIS OWN finger! It should, therefore, be taken literally and seriously.

It is also significant that these Commandments were structured around a weekly day of rest, remembering GOD'S creation week — six Days of creating and establishing everything in heaven and earth, followed by sanctified day of rest and refreshment. [Genesis/Bereshith 1. 31 - 2. 3; Exodus/Shemot 20. 8 - 11] Ever since the creation, people have observed a weekly calendar. The seven-day week (unlike the day, month, and year) has no solar basis at all. People keep time in weeks simply because THE MASTER CREATOR did! After each day of creation, GOD declared that there was "evening and there was morning" — but the seventh day was blessed and sanctified, and the phrase "evening and morning" was not declared. [see Genesis/Bereshith 1] The reason — when we rest IN HIM, GOD gives us an unlimited, continual Sabbath.

"The Sabbath was made for man" — the LORD YESHUA declared. [Mark 2. 27] Since the Most HOLY ONE considered the truth of the Literal Creation Week so important that HE inscribed it HIMSELF, we should believe this portion of HIS WORD first of all. . . then follow through by believing everything else HE has told us, and obey (do, observe, follow totally) HIS commands that we might live.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Good Sabbath! Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in GOD'S Kingdom.
For the TORAH, for the privilege of worship, for the prophets, and for this Sabbath day, given us for sanctification and rest, for honor and for glory, let us thank and bless the LORD our GOD. Blessed are YOU, our LORD GOD, WHO sanctifies the Sabbath, Israel and all who love YOUR PRECIOUS SON, YESHUA the WORD made FLESH.
"And you shall call the Sabbath a delight." [Yeshayah/Isaiah 53.13]
It is a mitzvah to hallow Shabbat by setting it apart from the other days of the week....Shabbat must be distinguished from the other days of the week so that those who observe it may be transformed by its holiness.
Day 13 of the Omer Yesod Gevurah ― Bonding in Discipline
For discipline to be effective it must be coupled with commitment and closeness (bonding). In disciplining yourself and others there has to be a sense that the discipline is important for developing a stronger bond, done together for our mutual benefit that will intensify the relationship and commitment to each other. "Have compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3:8-9

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To love mankind is easy; to love man is hard. We need adversity, not for the suffering it brings, but for the growth and deepened perspective that comes from it.
He who does not punish evil commands it to be done. [Leonardo Deviancy]

YOM HA'SHO’AH
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." [1 Corinthians 13. 1 - 3]

A reflection as we remember and observe Holocaust Day of Memorial — may the ALMIGHTY ONE, blessed be HE, remember forever our brothers and sisters of the House of Israel who gave their lives for the sanctification of the DIVINE NAME.

IN HIS NAME
He wore the yellow star upon his arm
and heard the ugly taunts as he walked along.
The words he heard burned deep within his soul
as the burden of being Jewish took its toll.
His eyes reflected a sad and somber hue
as he wondered if any of these angry faces knew
that he was flesh and blood, a man like them
with fears and hopes and dreams. . . "O Jerusalem!"
His mind returned to the dream of a Jewish home
a fleeting thought...a longing no more to roam —
but his mind was quickly brought back to the present
by the ugly taunts of a group of adolescents.
The badge upon his arm, a badge of shame
forced upon the Jew to him profane,
yet little did they know that deep inside
that Star of David held for him much pride.
There was a glint of knowledge in his eye
his noble heritage passed on by the Rabbi. . .
his line had boasted prophets, scribes and kings
and through the Jew, GOD would MESSIAH bring.
It was they who were chosen above all races
to transcribe HIS HOLY WRIT in sacred places.
In this his race was faithful, they’d been true
GOD'S knowledge and HIS WORD came through the Jew.
It was Moses who, to GOD, talked face to face
and HIS Laws were passed to man by the Jewish race.
So even though his back was bowed and bent,
and even though taunts followed where 'ere he went,
his spirit, deep within, was whole and strong
for to GOD'S chosen race he did belong.
He knew inside that he was by CREATOR GOD blessed
that it was HIS SEED selected above the rest
chosen by the ALMIGHTY to be a race apart
to show the loving-kindness of GOD'S heart.
Just then the words "CHRIST Killer" reached his ear
and these words cut through his soul, invoked a tear —
a phrase he’d learned to hate, but also fear
for it meant dire consequences drew near.
And so the wall of separation grew
between the blinded Gentiles and the Jew.
As the Gentiles used our LORD as an excuse
the "Apple of HIS Eye" to persecute.
They failed to reconcile a fact they knew —
that YESHUA was HIMSELF born a Jew.
And by no race, or man, was YESHUA killed
THE ROCK OF OUR SALVATION gave HIMSELF of HIS OWN free will.
But the Gentiles yet, still fail to understand
JESUS gave up HIS life at HIS OWN command.
It wasn’t the Jew, oh don’t you see
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH hung HIMSELF upon that tree.
HE sacrificed HIMSELF in benefit of man
to remove their sin, their final PASSOVER LAMB.
So how can the Gentile continue to blame the Jew
when YESHUA’S precious blood has cleansed them too.

Please stand with us and with the State of Israel this Yom ha'Sho’ah as we pray that peace finally will come to Israel , the precious Jewish people and the world.

As we remember the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust this "Yom ha'Sho’ah" (Holocaust Remembrance Day)" we can also remember those listed in Hebrews 11 — the Hall of Faith Chapter — and be reminded how precious life that is lived for ALMIGHTY LOVING LORD GOD is, blessed be HE.

May we, like the Apostle Paul say, "in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also CHRIST will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is CHRIST, and to die is gain." [Philippians 1. 20 - 21] Live as thought the next breath is your last, before entering eternity. . . choose life and bear witness that our GOD reigns. Blessed are YOU, PRECIOUS LORD GOD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The date of Yom ha'Sho’ah, Holocaust Memorial Day, is marked on the Hebrew date of Nisan 27th (April 16th this year on the Gregorian calendar) — chosen to mark the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. On this day we also remember the lives of the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, and the experiences of those who survived its horrors. Although the day became official by an act of Knesset, it has been traditionally commemorated by Jewish communities around the world. Some religious communities prefer not to commemorate the Holocaust on this day, which falls in the generally happy month of Nissan, but rather on Tisha b'Av (the 10th of Tevet) — which the Chief Rabbinate of Israel fixed as the day for the recital of the Kaddish Prayer for those murdered during the Holocaust whose date of death is not known.

Day 12 of the Omer Hod Gevurah ― Humility in Discipline
The results of discipline and might without humility are obvious. Before judging anyone, insure that you are doing so selflessly with no personal bias. Forgive people. If someone has wronged you and then shows sincere regret and asks for forgiveness, go out of your way to do positive things for him that will express your love and concern for him. In this way, you are encouraging him for realizing his mistake and doing the right thing to correct it. "If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying ― 'I repent' ― you shall forgive him." Luke 17:3-4

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Post  Admin Thu 16 Apr 2015, 10:03 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Envy is its own torment.

CONTINUE IN...
"As for you, continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from WHOM you have learned them — the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in CHRIST JESUS." [2 Timothy 3. 14 - 15]

CHRISTianity is not to be a "hit-and-miss-affair" or an "I-tried-it-and-it-didn't-work" experience. CHRISTianity isn't something you "TRY" — but what you "ARE" —a determination or mind set; a choice to live as a CHRIST-like one. One of the great outward proofs of a true believer is that he continues in the faith.

"IF indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the HOPE OF THE GOSPEL which you heard." [Colossians 1. 23] Endurance for the duration of our lifetime shows the reality of our true faith in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. "Now by this we know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS commandments." [1 John 2. 3] "They received the WORD with all readiness, and searched the SCRIPTURES daily to find out whether these things were so." [Acts 17. 11] "The works of the LORD are great, within reach of all who desire them and studied by all who have pleasure in them." [Psalms (Tehillym) 111. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Then I thought of the days of old; I meditated on all YOUR deeds, recounted the work of YOUR hands." [Psalms (Tehillym) 143. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving." [Colossians 4. 2] The HOLY BIBLE constantly exhorts us to "pray without ceasing." [1 Thessalonians 5. 17] In the work of ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD there are three steps: First, Impossible; second, Difficult; finally, Complete — when we pray for the extraordinary, the limitless, the incredible and the glorious.

The unbeliever, "has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the WORD, immediately he stumbles." [Matthew 13. 21] "They profess to know GOD, but in works they deny HIM, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work." [Titus 1. 16]

Grace (Hebrew: chen — favor, acceptance) carries with it an obligation to tell others. The GOSPEL is "GOOD NEWS" and as CHRIST-followers, we must continue to witness for and about HIM. "Therefore, having obtained help from GOD — to this day I stand — witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come." [Acts 26. 22] Be co-workers with the HEAVENLY MASTER by sharing the PRECIOUS WORD OF TRUTH.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
We praise YOU, MOST HOLY God and ask that YOUR PRESENCE be manifest to us in all YOUR works, so that reverence for YOU may fill the hearts of YOUR creatures. May all the children of men bow before YOU in humility and unite to do YOUR will with one heart, that all may acknowledge that YOURS alone is the power, dominion and majesty; and that YOUR NAME is exalted above all. The grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you always — for you are our glory and joy!
May your life be richer and fuller daily as you faithfully walk with our Wonderful LORD YESHUA.

Day 11 of the Omer Netzach of Gevurah― Endurance in Discipline
Effective discipline must be enduring and tenacious (determined). Discipline must be consistent and followed through. "Endure all things lest we hinder the Gospel of CHRIST." 1 Corinthians 9:12

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We cannot take the second step before we have the courage to take the first one, the hardest part of any endeavor is beginning.

TRUE RICHES
"Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the LIVING GOD, WHO gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." [1 Timothy 6. 17 - 19]

Those who are true followers of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA have so many true riches to enjoy that it is sad when many try hard to accumulate the uncertain riches of this world. What is worse, is preachers and teachers that promote the idea that CHRISTians are entitled to the goods of the world by naming and claiming it to be so. We are clearly instructed, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." [Matthew 6. 19 - 21]

The Apostle Paul speaks of "the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering" [Romans 2. 4] which led YESHUA to provide our eternal salvation. For those who have been saved, Paul writes of "the riches of HIS glory on the vessels of mercy, which HE had prepared beforehand for glory." [Romans 9. 23]

In contemplating the great plan of GOD for both Jews and Gentiles, he exclaimed — "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of GOD! How unsearchable are HIS judgments and HIS ways past finding out!" [Romans 11. 33] In CHRIST THE ANOINTED ONE are "hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." [Colossians 2. 3]

When Paul wrote to the church in Ephesians, he reminded them that MESSIAH had redeemed them through HIS precious blood and forgave their sins "according to the riches of HIS grace" eager for them to understand "the riches of the glory of HIS inheritance in the saints." He told them that "GOD, WHO is rich in mercy" had saved them that sequentially "in the ages to come HE might show the exceeding riches of HIS grace in HIS kindness toward us in CHRIST JESUS." [Ephesians 1. 7, 18; 2. 4, 7]

In summarizing all these true riches which are — mercy, glory, grace, goodness, wisdom, knowledge, boldness, confidence — Paul spoke of "the unsearchable riches of CHRIST, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in GOD WHO created all things through JESUS CHRIST; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of GOD might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places." [Ephesians 3. 8 - 10] Jeremiah also spoke of this in the OLD COVENANT, "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the strong man glory in his strength, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but only let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows ME, that I am the LORD, act in lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness in the world. For in these I delight —declares the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 23 - 24 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Truly, "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen any GOD besides YOU, WHO acts for the one who waits for HIM." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 64. 4 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "For behold! I am creating a new heavens and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi’im] Or, as Paul reestablished these texts by summarizing, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM." [1 Corinthians 2. 9] Thru HIS SPIRIT, GOD reveals HIS wondrous riches to man.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O LORD, pardon the sins, transgressions and iniquities which we have committed before YOU. Purify us of all our errors and iniquities so that our life may be worthy of the name we bear and our home become a sanctuary consecrated to YOUR PRESENCE and dedicated to righteousness. Humbled by the sense of our weakness and our guilt, we ask YOU, O GOD of our fathers, to help us to serve YOU in sincerity and in truth; and in serving YOU, may our example help to lead many to YOU.

Day 10 of the Omer Tiferet of Gevurah― Compassion in Discipline
Underlying and driving discipline must not only be love, but also compassion. Compassion is unconditional love. It is love just for the sake of love, not considering the others position. Tiferet is a result of total selflessness in the eyes of GOD. You love for no reason; you love because you are a reflection of the ALMIGHTY ONE. "GOD created man in HIS OWN image; in the image of GOD HE created him; male and female HE created them." Genesis/Bereshith 1:27

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
One must both be humble enough to learn from every person and to teach everyone, regardless of status.

WHOM TO OBEY, GOD OR MAN
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from GOD, and the authorities that exist are appointed by GOD. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of GOD, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is GOD'S minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is GOD'S minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil." [Romans 13. 1 - 4]

As Paul was writing these words, the monstrous Emperor Nero, who eventually had Paul executed, was at the height of his power, yet Paul said that whoever "resists the authority, resists the ordinance of GOD, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves." [Romans 13. 2]

The general function of human government, the gift instituted by ALMIGHTY GOD may be said to be threefold: to protect, punish, and promote.
The Function of Protection: The moment Adam sinned, it was obvious that civilization would need some form of restraint and rule to protect citizens that do good (Godliness) and punish those who do wrong (perversions, dishonesty, corruptions). An example of this function is where Roman soldiers step in and save Paul from being murdered by his own enraged countrymen in Jerusalem . [see Acts 21. 27 - 37]
The Function of Punishment: Both Paul and Peter bring this out. Paul writes that properly appointed human officials are to be regarded as GOD’S servants to "bear the sword." That is, to impose punishment upon criminals. [1 Peter 3 - 4] Peter tells us that we are to "submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the LORD'S sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of GOD." [1 Peter 2. 13 - 15]
The Function of Promotion: Human government is to promote the general welfare of the community where its laws are in effect. Paul commanded us to pray for human leaders "that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." [1 Timothy 2. 1]

However, our present government has reversed GOD’S righteous Law by redefining good and evil to appease the wicked elements of our society and now they call evil "Good" and good "Evil, Discrimination, Bullying, or a Hate-Crime".

When a government changes GOD'S Laws and calls evil good and good evil — they are not doing what GOD appointed for them to do. "WOE to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! WOE to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! WOE to men mighty at drinking wine, WOE to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away justice from the righteous man!" [Isahiah/Yeshayah 5. 20 - 23]

They do not fear the SOVEREIGN LORD, therefore they have the impudent audacity to challenge and change HIS Laws. They are fulfilling the prophesies that say in the End Times "He (The Anti-Christ) shall speak pompous words against the MOST HIGH, shall persecute the saints of the MOST HIGH, and shall intend to change times and law." [Daniel/Danyel 2. 25]

"In the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of GOD, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" [2 Timothy 3. 1 - 6]

A follower of CHRIST is only subject to government when it functions properly and maintains law and order. But not when the government commits moral wrong and persecutes the believer by passing laws they cannot follow. CHRISTanity has come under heavy persecution these last few years; though this is not new, as there has been a war between CREATOR GOD and Satan since Lucifer fell from his heavenly position. [see Isaiah/Yeshayah 14. 12 - 17] We must "obey GOD rather than men" [Acts 5. 29], whenever there is a conflict between the ordinances of men and the Righteous Laws of the MASTER DESIGNER. When man’s [government] laws disagree with GOD’S Laws, those who follow HIM must take a stand against evil, especially when sin becomes the approved and dictated law of the land.

The wicked are emboldened as the government continues to pass laws that promote abortions "on demand" (murder of the unborn), homosexual perversions - every kind of sexual abominations, and drugs. Sexual abominations degrade an individual and bring GOD'S Wrath against the nation. [Romans 1. 18 - 32] Now the homosexuals can sue any business, including churches that refuses to condone and accept their perverted lifestyle. Thus, GOD’S wrath is justified — whoever commits any of these abominations and defiles themselves brings the Wrath of GOD against the nation. [see Leviticus/Vayikra 18:1-30]

In times past, the Apostles were condemned and threatened for the stand they took for righteousness sake. The people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon Peter and John demanding that their message "spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this NAME. So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the NAME of JESUS. But Peter and John answered and said to them — "Whether it is right in the sight of GOD to listen to you more than to GOD, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." [Acts 4. 17 - 20]

"Let the LORD be a TRUE and FAITHFUL WITNESS between us, if we do not do according to everything which the LORD your GOD sends us by you. Whether it is pleasing or displeasing, we will obey the VOICE of the LORD our GOD to WHOM we send you, that it may be well with us when we obey the VOICE of the LORD our GOD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 42. 5 - 6]

"I am the LORD, I do not change." [Malachi/Malakhi 3. 6] We must obey the Laws of GOD MOST HIGH, and thru the power of the HOLY SPIRIT speak the TRUTH OF GOD with boldness and take a stand for righteousness whatever the cost, honoring and zealously obeying the ONE WHO never changes; loving the sinner; hating the sin.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
If we are to prevail, we must unite under the banner of the Jewish MESSIAH — celebrating our unique heritage, our unique message, and our unique ability to bring inspiration to the world. Let us rejoice in ALMIGHTY GOD’S plan in which the threats and schemes of the wicked will ultimately be done away with and the GLORIOUS KINGDOM OF GOD will bring eternal good.

WEEK 2 ― GEVURAH: JUSTICE, DISCIPLINE, RESTRAINT, AWE
Day 8 of the Omer Chesed Gevurah― Loving-kindness in Descipline
The underlying intention and motive in discipline is love. Chesed of gevurah is the love in discipline; it is the recognition that your personal discipline and the discipline you expect of others is only an expression of love, GOD’S love. Concern and love sharpen each other. "The LORD your GOD is gracious, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in kindness." Joel/Yoel 2:13 "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before MY eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow!" Isaiah/Yeshayah 1:16-17

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Hard times don't erase GOD'S promises.

PERFECT SACRIFICE
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you to make atonement for your lives upon the Altar; for it is the blood, as life, that effects expiation. For the life of all flesh — its blood is its life." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11, 14 Tanakh, Torah]

The Book of Leviticus is full of types and indirect references to the PERSON and WORK of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH; these Five Offerings are:
Burnt Offering — typifies MESSIAH'S total offering in submission to HIS FATHER'S will. [Leviticus/Vayikra 1. 1 - 17; 6. 9 - 13; 9. 24] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is our PASSOVER. "And walk in love, as CHRIST also has loved us and given HIMSELF for us, an offering and a sacrifice to GOD for a sweet-smelling aroma." [Ephesians 5. 2]

Grain (Meal) Offering — typifies MESSIAH'S sinless service. JESUS, the GRAIN OF WHEAT, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." [John 12. 24]

Peace Offering — is a type of the fellowship believers have with OMNIPOTENT GOD through the work of the cross. [Leviticus/Vayikra 3. 1 - 17; 7. 11 - 21] The LORD JESUS is our PEACE OFFERING, "For HE HIMSELF is our peace, WHO has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation." [Ephesians 2. 14]

Sin Offering — typifies the ANOINTED ONE as our GUILT-BEARER. [Leviticus/Vayikra 4. 1 - 35; 6. 24 - 30] The LORD YESHUA was our SIN OFFERING, "For HE made HIM WHO knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of GOD in HIM." [2 Corinthians 5. 21]

Trespass Offering — typifies CHRIST'S payment for the damage of sin. [Leviticus/Vayikra 5. 1 - 19; 6. 7; 7. 1 - 10] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is our TRESPASS OFFERING: "And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, HE has made alive together with HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And HE has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross." [Colossians 2. 13 - 14]

Only the best, cleanest, and finest of the Israelites' bullocks, sheep, goats, and fowl were brought according to the Law. These were brought to the Copper Altar of Sacrifice, tied to the horns of the altar, then slain and then burned upon the Altar.

What is the meaning the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH was trying to convey to the children of Israel ? What significance does it have for us today? Here we see ALMIGHTY GOD'S goodness and severity, HIS love and wrath, HIS righteousness and peace. It is here that the heart of man and the heart of LOVING CREATOR are revealed and atonement for sin is made.

At this Altar, the innocent bore the judgment of the guilty, and HOLY GOD was reconciled with the sinner who killed and shed the blood of the sacrifice. This slaughter place pictures the Cross of Calvary — a vessel on earth which is the only way of entrance into GOD'S PRESENCE. It depicts the Cross which is easily accessible to the world, but towers over all the wrecks of time, the cross upon which the PRINCE OF GLORY died, where HE was bound with the cords of love for lost humanity. This Copper Altar foreshadows the Cross, universal in its mercy as well as its judgment. . . the horns pointing GOD-ward and man-ward, inviting "whosoever will" to come!

The sacrifices brought to that Altar — the innocent doves and pigeons with their heads wrung off, their feathers plucked from their bodies, their blood wrung at the side of the altar; the bullocks cut to pieces and burned; the lambs and goats sacrificed — all of these tell of the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH: HE is the INNOCENT DOVE of the heavens WHO came to earth, WHOSE head was crowned with thorns, WHOSE beard was plucked from HIS cheeks.

YESHUA is the OX of GOD WHO was bruised and cut to pieces by the whip of the Roman soldiers, WHOSE blood was shed, WHO was burned with the fire of judgment from HIGH & LOFTY ONE upon HIM for the sins of the whole world.

HE is the LAMB of GOD, WHOSE heart melted within HIM like wax, WHO opened not HIS mouth in HIS OWN defense, WHO was led to the slaughter, and HIS face was marred more than any other man's.

Day-by-day, year-by-year, continually the offerings were being made upon the Altar until the time of the GREAT SACRIFICE upon the Altar of Calvary. From the Cross on Golgotha we hear the words from the lips of our wonderful LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the only SAVIOR & BLESSED REDEEMER, "IT IS FINISHED!" The types, the offerings of the OLD COVENANT were now done away, fulfilled in the MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, the WONDERFUL SAVIOR of the world!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Blessed, praised and glorified, exalted, extolled and honored, magnified and lauded be the NAME of the HOLY ONE , blessed be HE; though HE be high above all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations, which are uttered in the world. Let the NAME of the ALMIGHTY be blessed from this time forth and for evermore. Amen

Day 9 of the Omer Gevurah of Gevurah ― Discipline in Discipline
This world is the great testing ground for us to practice patience. Our LORD & KING, MESSIAH YESHUA is with you always, hence HE sees every effort you make, and knows the very intent of your heart. Practice patience!! "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the SCRIPTURES might have hope. Now may the GOD of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to CHRIST JESUS, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST." Romans 15:4-6

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"More than Israel has kept the Sabbath, it is the Sabbath that has kept Israel ." [Ahad Ha'Am - A Hebrew Essayist]

SABBATH REST
"The heavens and the earth were finished and all their array. On the seventh day ELOHIYM finished HIS work that HE had been doing; and HE ceased (rested) on the seventh day from all HIS work that HE had done. And ELOHIYM blessed the seventh day and declared it holy; because on it GOD rested and ceased from all HIS work of creation that HE had done." [Genesis (Bereshith) 2. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Torah]

There are three words for GOD'S Holy Sabbath: The first is shabbat meaning to rest, to cease, to repose, to complete. CREATOR GOD "sabbathed (rested)" from HIS work of creation. HE could sabbath because the (first) creation was completed.

The second word is nuach meaning rested, to be comforted, consoled, to settle down. OMNIPOTENT GOD could Sabbath because HE was content and satisfied with the work HE had done.

The third word is shabbat-naphash translated means rested, refreshed, re-spirited, restored. The ALMIGHTY AUTHOR & FINISHER of all creation could Sabbath because HE was refreshed in the perfect work of HIS creation!

For man, Sabbath was always a special day set apart by the HOLY ONE; and it was given to Israel as a commandment at Mount Sinai, "Tomorrow is a day of rest, a Holy Sabbath of the LORD...Six days you shall gather it (manna); on the seventh day, Sabbath — there will be none. Mark that the LORD has given you the Sabbath. So the people Sabbathed on the seventh day." [Exodus (Shemot) 16. 23 - 30 Tanakh, Torah] Realize, it is the people of GOD who rested — they had been delivered from bondage of sin and death and could now rest!

"The seventh day is a Sabbath of the LORD your GOD; you shall not do any work — you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your ox or your ass, or any of your cattle, or the stranger in your settlements, so that your male and female slave may REST as you do. Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the LORD your GOD freed you and brought you out from there with HIS MIGHTY HAND and OUTSTRETCHED ARM; therefore the LORD your GOD has commanded you to observe the Sabbath Day." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 5. 14 - 15 Tanakh, Torah]

Sabbath is a shadow of things to come. . ."Come to ME, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you Sabbath (rest). Take MY yoke upon you and learn from ME, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find Rest (Sabbath) for your souls." [Matthew 11. 28 - 29] "There remains therefore a rest for the people of GOD. For he who has entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works as GOD did from HIS." [Hebrews 4. 9 - 10]

The Sabbath is a reminder of the two worlds — this one and the world to come. And Sabbath is an example of both worlds; for the Sabbath is joy, holiness, and rest. Joy is part of this world; Holiness and Rest are something of the world to come.

What an overflowing-abundance of wealth there is in Sabbath (Day of Rest) for those who have entered into the NEW COVENANT and found their freedom, their delight, their rest in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA — "LORD OF THE SABBATH" . . . those who are now leaning upon the everlasting arms of JESUS their BELOVED REDEEMER and are kept by the DOVE OF HEAVEN, the HOLY SPIRIT WHO dwells in them .

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcome Sabbath! Come, my dear friend, let us go out to meet the Sabbath, the Queen! Come, O Bride, the Sabbath presence is eagerly awaited, and joyously welcomed!
Be pleased, O LORD our GOD, to fortify us by YOUR commandments, and especially by the commandment of the seventh day, this great and holy Sabbath, given for our rest and repose in love in accordance with the teaching of YOUR will. In YOUR favor, O LORD our GOD, grant us such repose that there be no trouble, grief or lamenting on the day of our rest. Let us, O LORD, behold the consolation of Zion and the rebuilding of Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City, for YOU are the GOD of our salvation and consolation in WHOM we find great joy and pleasure.
Chag Ha Matzah – Celebrating the 7th Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread

Day 6 of the Omer Yesod of Chesed ― Bonding in Loving-kindness
For love to be eternal it requires bonding. A sense of togetherness which actualizes the love in a joint effort. An intimate connection, kinship and attachment, benefiting both parties. This bonding bears fruit; the fruit born out of a healthy union. Start building something constructive together with a loved one. "Their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of GOD." Colossians 2:2

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Peace is not a season, it is a way of life.

VOICE BEHIND
"Then shall your light burst through like the dawn and your healing spring forth speedily; your VINDICATOR shall march before you; the PRESENCE OF THE LORD shall be your rear guard. Then, when you call, the LORD will answer; when you cry, HE will say — Here I am." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 58. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Not only does our LOVING SAVIOR go before us on life's journey, HE also protects behind us. Like the SHEKINAH GLORY CLOUD of old, HE is a LIGHT to lead by day and a PILLAR OF FIRE behind us to guard by night.

ALMIGHTY GOD'S glory, like the GLORY CLOUD in the wilderness, is the faithful believer's REAR GUARD as he advances. The CLOUD was identified also as "THE ANGEL OF GOD" WHO both "went ahead the camp of Israel " then "took up a place behind them." [Exodus/Shemot 14. 19] We have this gracious assurance, "For you will not depart in haste, nor will you leave in flight; for the LORD is marching before you, the GOD OF ISRAEL is your REAR GUARD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

IF we listen, we can also hear HIS LIFE-GIVING WRITTEN WORD, both in HIS leading ahead and directing our steps behind. "Whenever you deviate to the right or to the left, your ears will hear the command from behind you — This is THE WAY, follow it!" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 30. 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im] This was how it was with the Apostle John on the Isle of Patmos: "I was in the SPIRIT on the LORD'S Day, and heard behind me a GREAT VOICE, as of a trumpet." [Revelation 1. 10]

With the TRUSTWORTHY-INFALLIBLE GUIDE going before us and an INVINCIBLE-UNCONQUERABLE GUARD behind us, why should we hesitate to follow the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH? HE "guides me in right paths as befits HIS NAME" and promises to "renew my life." [Psalms/Tehillym 23. 3] If only we would prepare our hearts, the promises for the righteous from our FAITHFUL GOD are endless and our lives would be brighter than the noonday and none could make us afraid because the HOLY ONE is our HOPE & STAY (CONFIDENCE), our EVER-PRESENT HELP.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O GOD, WHO alone is all good, WHOSE mercies fail not; WHOSE loving-kindnesses never cease, we have all our hope and trust in YOU. We bless YOU, our SALVATION and our HELP, our GOD to WHOM thanksgiving is due. We are ever grateful that YOU dwell in us! HE, MESSIAH YESHUA, will lift the people and prove that HIS WORD & Law are valid. Be perfect that you may have boldness in the Day of Judgment. Enjoy Chol Hamoed – the 5th Intermediary Day of Pesach (Passover).

Day 4 of the Omer Netzach Chesed― Enduance in Loving-kindness
Enduring love withstands challenges and setbacks or moods, it is constant regardless of life’s ups and downs. One must both be humble enough to learn from every person and to teach everyone, regardless of status. Encourage others and you will influence them to believe in themselves, but more important, to believe and know the MASTER CREATOR. "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In choosing a friend, go up a step. [TALMUD, Yebamot 63a]

THE BUTLER & THE BAKER
"The cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their lord, the king of Egypt . Pharaoh was furious with his two officials, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker, and put them in custody, in the house of the captain of the guard, in the same prison house where Joseph was confined. The chief jailer assigned Joseph to them, and he attended them." [Genesis (Bereshith) 40. 1 – 4 Tanakh, Torah]

In the course of their imprisonment, the cupbearer (butler) and the baker had a dream on the same night. When Joseph inquired about their distraught countenance and learned they had dreamed and didn't know its interpretation. Joseph replied that the ALMIGHTY GOD OF HEAVEN could give interpretations and asked them both to tell him their dreams. [Genesis/Bereshith 40. 9 – 11]

The cupbearer divulged his dream to Joseph — "Behold, in my dream a vine was before me. On the vine were three branches. It had barely budded, when out came its blossoms and its clusters ripened into grapes. Pharaoh's cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand." [Genesis (Bereshith) 40. 9 – 11 Tanakh, Torah] Joseph said to the butler, "This is the interpretation: The three branches are three days. In three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your post, you will place Pharaoh's cup in his hand, as was your former custom, when you were his cupbearer. But think of me when it is well with you again, and do me the kindness of mentioning me to Pharaoh so as to free me from this place. For in truth, I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; nor have I done anything here that they should put me into this dungeon." [Genesis (Bereshith) 40. 12 – 15 Tanakh, Torah]

Having heard the favorable interpretation that the butler was to be restored, the baker excitedly then told Joseph his dream. "I also was in my dream, and there were three baskets with white bread on my head. In the uppermost basket there were all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh; and the birds were eating it out of the basket above my head." Joseph answered, "This is its interpretation: The three baskets are three days. In three days Pharaoh will lift off your head from you and hang you on a tree; and the birds will pick off your flesh." [Genesis (Bereshith) 40. 16 – 19 Tanakh, Torah]

On the third day, just as Joseph had expressed, Pharaoh celebrated his birthday with a banquet for all his officials. He lifted up the head of the butler pardoning and restoring him; and the cupbearer once more placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand. But the baker, just as Joseph foretold, was hanged to death on a tree. [Genesis/Bereshith 40. 20 – 22]

The butler, the wine server, was granted life. The baker who had prepared breads for Pharaoh, committed some sin worthy of death and was hanged on a tree [Deuteronomy/Devarim 21. 22, 23], and the birds ate his flesh.

The communion of our LORD YESHUA is pictured in this story of the wine and bread. The Bread eaten by the birds, speaks of the body of JESUS being torn apart by the whips and cross. Believers are granted access to the FATHER by this "new and living way which HE consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, HIS flesh." [Hebrews 10. 20] The Wine speaks of the blood shed in the death of YESHUA to provide a covering for sin, bringing life for those who believe. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; it is the blood, as life, that makes expiation. The life of all flesh is its blood." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11, 14 Tanakh, Torah]

Our WONDERFUL SAVIOR took our sin and guilt on HIMSELF allowing HIS body to be broken and delivered up in our place. YESHUA proclaimed, "I am the BREAD OF LIFE. This is the BREAD which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this BREAD, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is MY flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world." [John 6. 48, 50 - 51]

Then YESHUA continued teaching — "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh (bread) of the SON OF MAN and drink HIS blood (wine), you have no life in you. Whoever eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For MY flesh is food indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed. He who eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood abides in ME, and I in him. As the LIVING FATHER sent ME, and I live because of the FATHER, so he who feeds on ME will live because of ME. This is the BREAD which came down from heaven...He who eats this BREAD will live forever." [John 6. 53 - 58]

The LORD JESUS shed HIS life's blood (WINE) that all who accept HIS redemption are released from all their sin and can stand clean and are made whole. [1 John 1. 7] How marvelous to know that you can have this FREE GIFT as a heritage if only you are willing to receive the ONE (SACRIFICE OF DELIVERANCE) WHO paid the full price of love for you.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Blessings, grace, peace and mercy to each of you, our beloved friends, our family in the LORD GOD, as it is appropriate to express thanks: to existence, to destiny, to those we love, and even to our enemies, if we are able to, who have taught us valuable lessons. Gratefulness is an important spiritual practice. Guard well your heritage. . . written with the precious blood of our LORD & REDEEMER, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.
Day 5 of the Omer Hod of Chesed ― Humility in Loving-kindness
You can often get locked in a situation and be unable to forgive your beloved or to bend or compromise your position. Hod introduces the aspect of humility in love. The ALMIGHTY ONE gives us the ability to rise above ourselves and HE empowers us to forgive. Arrogant love is not love. Swallow your pride and reconcile with a loved one with whom you have quarreled. Make "peace, that HE might reconcile them both to GOD in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity." Ephsians 2:15-16

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
