The Mustard seed and the Mulberry tree

Luke 17: 6And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, 
ye might say to this mulberry tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and 
be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

I have explained before of why faith is compared to a mustard seed. 
People think because the size of the seed and the size of the plant it 
grows into. Firstly the mustard seed is not the smallest seed the orchid 
seed is and secondly the mustard plant that grows in the Middle East is 
max 8 feet to 10 feet tall which is less for small tree therefore put in 
the category of herbs. Mustard is among the smallest herb seeds but 
among the biggest herb trees.

Jesus used the mustard as an example for faith because of the uniqueness 
of that seed. Unlike other seeds the mustard seed has no air pocket 
inside it. Jesus was trying to specify, when we have even little faith 
but a strong faith without doubt then we can move mountains.

Coming to second and more interesting part, which I came to know only today.

The Greek word translated as Mulberry tree actually refers to the Ficus 
Sycomorus tree - common name - False Sycomore Fig, a kind of fig tree 
that grows up to 20 m tall and 6 m wide.

It is a tropical tree indigenous to East Africa and Yemen. It grows in 
Israel mainly in places with shallow underground water. Although this 
species of fig requires the presence of the symbiotic 
wasp 
to reproduce sexually, and this 
insect being extinct in Israel and Egypt it was manually reproduced by 
planting cuttings. No doubt that Egypt was "the principal area of 
sycamore fig development" for the caskets of the mummies inEgypt 
were made from the wood of this tree.

The tree originally produces numerous seeds and reproduces regularly 
with the help of its pollinator (symbiotic wasp). There are obligatory 
(each party necessarily needs the other), mutual relations between the 
syconium and its pollinator. The pollinator being not present in Israel, 
therefore the tree does not produce seeds at all. It is reproduced only 
by cuttings. It appears that every False Sycomore Fig in Israel was 
planted by man as a cutting. They were grown by farmers for their shade, 
fruit, and especially for their timber. In ancient Israel the wood was 
held in higher esteem than the fruit, the latter consumed chiefly by the 
poor who could not afford the more expensive kinds.

So what we see is this tree was not meant for a terrain like Israel for 
it was not a tropical terrain and also the requirement for this tree to 
flourish naturally did not exist in Israel so this tree was always 
reproduces by man by planting cuttings of it. The Jews belief was 
infested with the traditions of the Egyptians due to their exile in 
Egypt many years back.

Another point to be aware of is that no land tree can grow in the sea. 
The sea being deep and having salt water will cause any tree to drown 
and perish.

Jesus is telling us if we have true faith which was without doubt even 
if it was little faith, then we have the authority to bring to nil the 
great worldly system made by mankind. We have to only command the 
worldly system to perish and it will perish, but for this we need to 
have true faith, a faith without doubt. We do not need to be scholars in 
scriptures or have total understanding of all scriptures. Even the 
little we know of the Bible but if we truly believe in the little we 
know, we can bring to nil the manmade worldly systems.

Lord, we thank You for the authority You have given as our faith matures 
in You. Lord You call us Israel - as one having power and authority in 
You. Lord we pray we grow in our faith and overcome the doubts that 
shake our faith. We pray that we bring to nil this worldly manmade 
systems and free the people who are under the bondages of these systems 
so that they give glory to You...

Appointing of the Twelve Apostles

Mark 3:13-15 - And he goeth up upon a mountain, and calleth to him whom he
would: and they came to him. And he appointed twelve, that they should be
with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have
authority to heal sicknesses, and to cast out demons:

We see Jesus was a Man on a Mission during His life of earth even as a
small child He was focused on the purpose He came as man, in other words to
do the work what He Father had assigned Him.

He Himself studied scriptures according the Jewish system and became a
Rabbi but He did not guide His disciples to follow the system which He had
to. He did not teach them the Jewish way nor taught them what the Jewish
system had taught Him. Every time they heard Him they would be baffled at
what He taught them and were also baffled at the way He taught them which
was with power and authority, demonstrating practically what He spoke.

The Church thinks Jesus chose the twelve to set them as authority over the
whole Church. In today’s message it is clear Jesus set them for 4 things -
one was be in Him, second to preach, third to heal and lastly to cast out
demons. About having authority or to administer the Church, we see Jesus
concentrated on only 3 of the twelve they were John, James and Simon
(Peter). Later these 3 were joined by Paul and Barnabas. That is why we see
after the twelve were made bold in spirit and in understanding, most
dispersed to different parts of the world. In the start we see they were
stuck up with the number 12 thus they added Matthias after Judas died. But
later they broke up and the number 12 was never given importance, all
because they understood what the 12 symbolized and its purpose. Paul did
not select 12 chosen disciples, nor did Peter or any other of the twelve.

The twelve whom Jesus selected were called Apostles; the word in Greek is
apostolos and comes from the word apostello which is made of 2 words apo
and stello which together mean to send fourth (outwards). Apostleship is a
Calling, no doubt the 11 (excluding Judas) had the Calling of Apostleship
but that was a matter of coincident (planned by God) that they all had
that, since Jesus was setting the foundation of New Church, He needed
people with that Calling (Lord had used Abraham to set the first Church by
the circumcision of His people). The twelve were called Apostle mainly not
because they had the calling of Apostleship but because they were chosen to
go forth and do the mission which Jesus set them to do which was to grow in
understanding of the Word of God and in relationship with the Holy Spirit,
preach the Gospel and the Word of God, to heal the sick in body and the
weak in spirit, and deliver people from evil spirits and bondages.

After Jesus resurrected He gave this same mission to all those who believed
in Him. Now it is not just twelve but thousands and millions who are called
to be Apostles. We all who believe in Jesus Christ and call ourselves His
disciples are called to go forth to the world and do the 4 part mission
that is to grow in Him, preach, heal and deliver.

Jesus came as man in this world at the perfect time, if He had come an era
before or after, then the story would not have been what it is and Kingdom
of God would not have succeeded. One of the important aspects of His timing
was language. Before Jesus, when the Greeks ruled during the time of
Alexandra, the empire spread across a large portion of the world. Later the
Romans took over this empire and spread further. They too spoke the same
language of the Greek so we see when Jesus send forth His Apostles they
could go to various parts of the world and since they knew Greek they were
able do the mission they were set for. That is why we see the group rewrote
the Gospels from Aramaic to Greek so that the Gospels would help in the
mission they were commissioned for. Thus we see the Lord not only selected
the right people but also set them in the right time.

Today the Lord is talking to us Christian; He is asking us can we
Christians who call ourselves disciples of Jesus Christ, call ourselves
Apostles of Christ? If we have to call ourselves Apostles of Christ we need
to be doing the 4 fold mission which Christ has commissioned us to do. We
are not called to do our mission to only the people around us, or in our
neighbourhood, or in our city, or in our country. We all given a territory
as to where to do the mission we are commissioned for and that territory is
the whole world.

So let us start doing what we are called to do and let us stop thinking
small but let us start thinking as to what the Lord has set for us.

Lord, we thank You that You have chosen us for the Mission You started and
which is most dear to You. We thank You for calling us not just to know You
but to be your Apostles. Lord, we pray You increase the fire and anointing
within us that we give glory unto You like none ever did...

Man worships false gods

Daniel 11:38 - But in his estate shall he honour the god of forces: and 
a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, 
and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

God knows how to deliver a message to His people whom He loves. Before 
He gave me this message today He had me experience 2 incidents, one 
yesterday and one today with 2 people concerning today's message. So 
when I got this message I knew what I was supposed to share.

Yesterday I was speaking to a Muslim Shite who was wearing many rings on 
his finger some with stones. When I asked him why he told me one was for 
protection, one was for health and so on. He belonged to a sect which 
more inclined towards traditions. They believed on the verbal handed 
down of scriptures and traditions more than the written text. They know 
the Islamic books were tampered with over the years therefore do not 
trust them and thus trust man more than text (ironically these text were 
written by man), basically they do this so that they have freedom to 
change things as an when they want. They do not want to be restricted in 
any way. That is why we see so many variations in the culture and belief 
of this sect according to the different parts of the world they live. 
They have infused various local traditions and beliefs into their main 
belief.

Today I was in communication with a Catholic who was quoting me the 
Quran as proof for his belief. He was also boasting about his suffering 
which kept him close to God (he was trying to justify it with Paul's 
thorn which kept Paul humble before God, he did not have any idea what 
Paul spoke of). He too comes from a sect of Christianity which gives 
traditions more importance than the Word of God. Since they have no 
knowledge of the authenticity of scriptures and believe more in manmade 
stories therefore do all the wrong things. They are opposite of Muslim 
Shites who know the problems with the Islamic text thus justify their 
way of belief in various things as gods (gods, since they rule their 
lives), but a Catholic out of ignorance thinks there is a problem 
therefore rejects the Word of God as true and does traditions of man and 
has made humans has his or her gods.

In today's message God is telling us because man lacks faith (trust in 
God's Word) man has fear of worldly things. This fear has caused man to 
honour a false god. Even though his ancestors worship this god yet they 
all do not know who this god is. They use worldly ways and means like 
traditions, sufferings and offering material things to honour this false 
god.

Lord your people are ignorant of the Truth therefore have fear and 
believe in false gods and do foolish things in name of religion. Lord, 
we pray your people grow in faith and understanding of scriptures so 
that they come to worship You the True and only God...

He mounts the colt which no man has yet sat

Luke 19:30Saying, Go ye into the village opposite you; in which at your 
entering ye shall find a colt tied, on which yet never man sat: loose 
him, and bring him here.

Luke talks of just the colt (young of the donkey) while Matthew and 
Zachariah speak about both the colt and the donkey (ass). Luke was not 
making a mistake while writing, if you see he starts his recording 
stating he was complementing the Gospels already written. Luke wanted to 
highlight things that were not highlighted in the previous Gospels.

Luke wanted to show that Jesus did not sit on the donkey but sat on the 
colt even though the donkey tagged along. Luke also specified the age of 
this clot. A colt is usually sandaled after it is 2 years old so this 
colt which Jesus sat on was just 1 year old thus it wasn't sandaled. 
That is how the disciples knew which colt Jesus spoke of, they did not 
have to ask the owner or the colt if any man had mounted it before. The 
disciples then had to put their clothes on the colt for Jesus to sit 
since it was not sandaled.

Another fact is that a donkey carries comfortably about 20 to 30 percent 
of its weight depending if it is dead or live weight. Jesus was a 
33years old man when He mounted the colt, now His weight would surely 
have been more than 30percent of the weight of the colt. A full grown 
donkey is about 480kgs so this less than 2 year colt was surely carrying 
about half its own weight nearly 50percent. Even with this weight the 
colt carried it is not recorded that the colt struggled to carry Jesus 
(this also shows Jesus was not over weighted).

Surely this sight was an amusing sight a full grown man sitting on a 
small colt, that too with a full grown donkey tagging along with no one 
sitting on it. People saw it and were amused but then they knew a 
prophecy was fulfilled. Jesus did this not only to fulfil a prophecy but 
also for another reason.It may seem foolish a full grown man sitting on 
a 1 year old colt but Luke gives the reason Jesus choose to do such a 
thing and the reason is since no man had mounted on it.

If one reads Revelation the ones who are closest to the Heavenly Throne 
of the Lord, who worship Him with a New Song are those who are not 
defiled (virgin). When I read this scripture I was already married and I 
thought had I known this before I would not have married, I would have 
chosen a life of chastity dedicated to the Lord, but later the Lord made 
me understand it was nothing to do with virginity of the body but 
virginity of the spirit.

The Lord is telling us those whom have not let any idol or god or any 
desire to be their god and rule their lives are the ones He will choose 
to mount and come in glory. They are the ones who will see the power of 
God in their lives.

If you have any idol in your life, or think there exist any god, or have 
made your human desires like success or provision or desire for any 
person as most important in your life then cast them off your mind and 
put the Lord over them. The Lord will not be seated along with other 
things in your life; so either have them rule your life or have the Lord 
King over your life.

To have worldly desires (surely not evil desires like lust, hatred, 
un-forgiveness) is not evil but these desires need to be controlled and 
never let to ride your life, you can tugthem along (pull behind), but to 
ride your life you should allow only the Lord. Also note too many things 
you tug along will slow down your spiritual life so even if the Lord is 
seated make sure you have the least amount of desires tugged along.

Lord, we pray open our eyes and show us the objects, people or desires 
that are taken the focus of our lives. Lord, we pray You strengthen us 
and give us the ability to cast them off our backs let You alone be King 
over our lives. May You come in glory in our lives...

Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter 
of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh to thee: he is just, and having 
salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of 
a donkey.

Revelation 14:2-5

2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as 
the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping 
with their harps:

3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the 
four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the 
hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. 
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were 
redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Good works

John 10:32 - Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from 
my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

If any person reads the Bible (New Testament), the person will not be 
able to deny the good works Jesus did. But yet we see Jesus did nothing 
like people like Mother Teresa did. If we compare the works of Mother 
Teresa with the works of Jesus we can see the difference between their 
works. Both had a heart for the poor, sick, the people in need but both 
had different approaches to the problem.

We see Mother Teresa took the sick under her shelter and looked after 
them either until they got well or until they died. But on the other 
hand we see when sick approached Jesus He did not take them to a shelter 
to look after them but healed them and sent them back home.

People with spirit problems in Mother Teresa shelters are helped by 
psychiatrists who work with her institute. The success rate of them 
getting well or manageable is very minute. When it came to Jesus, He 
discerned the spirits in these people and using His authority He cast 
them out, He immediately got these people to sanity.

The nuns that work with Mother Teresa' institute go along side railway 
tracks, road sides and other places and bring the poor, hungry and 
homeless to their shelter, feed them and look after them. For this 
provision they depend on people who donate to their trust. Jesus on the 
other hand as a Rabbi (Teacher of Scriptures) would receive money from 
people (as part of their tithes); this money was kept in the money bag 
which would mostly be in the hand of Judas. Even though Jesus was aware 
of Judas' dishonesty yet Jesus did not take the money bag from Judas, 
for Jesus did not depend on the hand-outs of the people, He depended 
directly on God the Father for His provision. When people were hungry He 
multiplied bread and fishes, and fed thousands. If He needed money He 
would get it in supernatural ways like from a fish's belly. He did not 
take the homeless home with Him but showed them how to depend on God for 
their provision.

If you look even though both Mother Teresa and Jesus did good works yet 
there was a great difference between their works. Even after 2000 years 
the works of Jesus are known to billions of people including those who 
are not His disciples (Christians). Mother Teresa on the other hand 
became known only after she received the Noble Peace award or was award 
by the government of India. Mother Teresa was lifted up by the people 
and Jesus was lifted up by God.

The difference between the works of Mother Teresa and Jesus is the first 
did works of righteousness and the later did works of faith. The former 
did works in the name of God, the later let God do works through Him.

The Bible does tell us to reach out to the sick, poor and orphans but 
tells us to let God work through us by our faith. If we lack faith or 
are growing in faith, till then we should do whatever we can in human 
ways but then we are not called to continue in human ways but are called 
to do things in supernatural ways by growing in faith.

The Lord is telling us today, do people see the good works of the Father 
in us? They may be seeing our good works but then these temporary good 
works or works of righteousness is not what God requires of us as His 
people. God desires we glorify Him by not helping people in their 
situations but helping them by changing their situations.

Our God is a Living God a God of power and this power will manifest in 
us only when we have faith and do the works of faith. Since we do not 
know the Truth fully and are growing in our understanding, we are far 
from doing works of righteousness according to God. When we do works of 
faith it is God who does the works of righteousness through us and makes 
us righteous and perfect, it is not we who make ourselves righteous.

Lord, the world is blinded with the worldly understanding. Since they 
are far from You and the Truth they are misled and do not experience 
your Power. Lord, we pray your people grow in faith and pursue works of 
faith and not works of righteousness...

His Spirit is with us, fear not

Haggai 2:5 [KJV-AV (italics removed)] - the word that I covenanted with 
you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye 
not.

People have a very wrong understanding that only after one is baptized 
one receives the Holy Spirit. If one looks at the case with the 
Apostles, they did not receive the Holy Spirit on Pentecost for in John 
20 after resurrection and before Jesus ascended again to Heaven He 
breathe unto His disciples and said 'Receive ye the Holy Spirit'. So 
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is not about receiving the Holy Spirit but 
about surrendering and being led by the Spirit.

We can see this also in the shadow - books of Moses in the lives of the 
Israelites. The Israelites had 2 Individuals (Divine ones) who 
interacted with them throughout their walk in the wilderness; one was an 
Angel of the Lord and the other Pillar of cloud/fire.

Paul states in his first letter to the church of Corinth that the people 
of Israel were under the cloud (Pillar of cloud) and he also identifies 
Christ as the Rock that followed them (although they had no actual rock 
following them other than they having 2 encounters with rocks that gave 
water). Paul says symbolizes their crossing through the Red Sea (Reed / 
Weed Sea the Hebrews/Israelites named seas after the plantation around 
it and the Egyptians according to the earth/sand around it). We also see 
even before they crossed the Red Sea the Pillar of cloud protected them 
and destroyed their enemies (the Egyptian army).

We need to understand that before we accepted Christ and were baptized 
in Him, we had the Spirit of God in our lives. We may have not 
experienced His presence until we saw His Hand of protection or healing 
in an extraordinary event.

In today's message the Lord is reminding us that His Spirit dwells is 
with us. Even though we may be struggling in our walk in Christ, His 
Spirit will be with us and we should fear not for His Spirit protects 
us. We may see situation around us that threaten our lives or our 
wellbeing, yet the Lord is telling us since His Spirit is with us we 
should not fear. Even if we are struggling in our spiritual lives and 
are not perfect yet when we have Him as our God we should not fear.

Understand the Holy Spirit is here not only to protect us from things of 
this world both natural and spiritual as a pillar of fire but also from 
the wrath of God as a pillar of cloud, for a cloud not only provides us 
with rain (mercy / grace) but also protects us from the harsh Sun (wrath 
of God).

Lord, there are times we doubt ourselves and your Word. The guilt of our 
sins tries to tell us You have disowned us and forsaken us because of 
our sins. Lord, we thank You for your Word today assuring us that your 
Spirit is with us to help, guide, protect and provide us even though we 
struggle in our walk in You. Lord, we thank You for your Spirit. Holy 
Spirit we pray your presence be manifested more and more in our lives as 
we lean more unto You while overcoming our carnal nature...

Mistakes in Ignorance

Acts 3:17 - And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance ye did it, 
as did also your rulers.

These past 2 days the Lord has been pulling up the Church leaders and 
elders who are doing His Work but with either not the right attitude or 
out of ignorance of knowing God and His purpose.

In today's message the Lord wants to talk to the congregation and tell 
us even if the leaders are acting irresponsibly that does not let us go 
off, blameless. The Lord is telling us He has given His Word through His 
anointed ones and this has been written and this Word has been protected 
by Him since thousands of years and is now with us. Even though the 
leaders are irresponsible why are we not opening the Word and confirming 
what the leaders are saying or doing?

Peter and John told the Jews at the temple that their leaders (synagogue 
leaders) did things out of ignorance for they did not have the 
understanding of scriptures. But Peter and John also blamed the Jewish 
people of being ignorance.

Ignorance is not a disease like flu which one gets infected with without 
one's will. Ignorance is a state of mind one chooses to be in. Each and 
every one of us cannot getaway scout free saying 'Lord I did not know'.

With His written Word with us do we have an excuse for ignorance? It is 
a choice you and I make to study or not to study His Word. If we can 
spend a lot time of our lives studying things of this world then why not 
study His Word? About the ability to understand, God says if we pursue 
His Word with all our hearts, He will surely open the understanding of 
it by His Spirit or by His anointed ones.

We as Christians are guiltier than the Jews for they did not receive the 
promise of the Holy Spirit, but we as believers in Jesus Christ have 
received the promise of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Truth (one of the 
7 Spirits of the Holy Spirit) guides us through the understanding of 
scriptures. So if we have the Author as our Teacher, do we have any 
excuse? Even if we say we have difficulty in communicating with Him, 
still God had set His anointed ones amongst us to help us bridge that 
gap and give us that true understanding, which all we need to do is 
verify by opening the scriptures.

Lord, your people lack the desire for your Kingdom and its 
understanding, therefore are misled by incompetent leaders. Lord we pray 
You intervene in the lives of your people and fill them with a fire like 
desire to know You and your Word. We pray they learn to discern the 
preachers and leaders who are misleading them to destruction...

Do not worship the God you do not know

Daniel 11:38 - But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and 
a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, 
and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

I got this scripture yesterday but was not able to understand what the 
Lord was trying to tell us so I delayed in sending the message. Today as 
the Lord opened my mind I am writing this message.

The Lord is continuing the message we have been getting in today's 
message. You may say brother what is King of Syria (Antiochus) events 
prophesied during the times of Daniel to do with our topic of 
incompetent Church leaders who do not pursue the understanding of God's 
Word nor grow in relationship with Him.

The word Syria means exalted.

God is telling us many Church leaders are trying to establish a name for 
themselves. They desire the praises of the people. In their desire of 
self-praise they worship a God they do not know. It does not mean that 
they worship a false god that does not exist, but means even though they 
worship the one and only God yet they worship Him without knowing Him. 
These people may sacrifice a lot of time, efforts and lots of pleasures 
on their life for 'God's Work' but then these things do not please God 
if they are not doing the same efforts to their own spiritual life. Then 
come the main point. Since they do not please God they struggle more to 
do the Work of God's Kingdom.

Let me explain. People struggle to increase their congregation, if one 
looks in the book of Acts when the people pleased God; it was the Lord 
who added people unto them. When we please God the favour of God falls 
on us and our work in the Lord becomes easier.

Let me give you another example which actually shook my life. I had 
personally met Mother Teresa more than one occasion and at one occasion 
got time to sit and talk to her. I was very impressed with her in 
person, left very humble. But when I studied the Word I realized she did 
not know God very much even though she did so much and expressed the 
love of God to people among the poor. But spiritually she struggle to 
know God. What I came to know made me understand the difference between 
works of righteousness and works of faith.

Paul says because man did not pursue the knowledge of God, they caused 
religions to come to existence and tarnished Him image with things like 
homosexuality, worship of animals, among other things.

God wants us not to remains children of God but grow into Sons of God 
and we can only grow when we grow in Him, in the knowledge of Him and in 
the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, You desire your people know You, that is why You manifested your 
image when You came as man. In Jesus Christ we could see the image of 
the invisible God whom no living being has seen, a God whom only the Son 
saw was made visible to corrupt man, who is lower than the Angels. Lord 
we pray your people pursue the knowledge of You and grow in You...

Hearing the Voice of God

Acts 8:29 - Then the Spirit said to Philip, Go near, and join thyself to
this chariot.

We see the Spirit of God was speaking to Philip and was enabling Philip to
do great and mighty things. If Philip had not heard the Voice of the Spirit
nor abided by it would he have done the mighty works? No.

What people call as ‘Word of Knowledge’ is in fact the Voice of God
speaking unto us in our hearts. This voice would be a thought, a vision or
even a vocal sound which only that person hears. It is not a gift but
something every Believer is capable of hearing. For that we need to be
still in our hearts (supress our thoughts and feelings) and be sensitive to
God.

God loves to talk to us for we are His lovers; that’s what He called
Abraham. We being seeds of Abraham through faith also become His lovers,
His bride. It is great to be sensitive to the Voice of God for when we hear
and abide in it we see great manifestation of God’s power.

The dangerous part is, other than God there are others who also speak to
us, mainly our fleshy desires (carnal nature) and evil spirits. Our carnal
nature would be our worldly thinking or lustful desires or our corrupt
understanding. Evil spirits may not necessarily mean a demon talking to us
but would be thoughts that are influenced by demonic powers. Most of the
time it is the carnal nature and rarely evil spirits that speak to us. The
only way to distinguish between the Voice of God and others is scriptures.

We need to remember God does not change, He is the same eternally. The only
thing that chances of Him is His glory, which increases time by time. God
does not change for He is Eternal, Perfect, Holy, All-mighty and
All-knowing therefore He is the same always.

In Isaiah the Lord says ‘those who know righteousness’ then He goes on to
explain that it means those who have His Law in their hearts, they shall
hear Him and not be afraid of men and reproaches. Then in Matthew Jesus
states He (His Spirit) will speak to us in the darkness (secret place)
which we should bring to light and He speaks to us personally we let the
whole world know.

The Word of God tells us to prophesy but at the same time tells us not to
add to the Word of God or to subtract from it. When the Lord tells us to
prophesy it means speaking the Word of God / promises of God into our lives
/ situations or the lives of others.

What we see is the Word of God which is Truth does not / cannot be changed
nor does God deviates from it. Therefore when God speaks to us, it cannot
go against His Word. If any voice speaks to us and goes against the Word
then we can be sure it is not from God.

Yesterday at a service there are a preacher preaching things that were
contrary to the Word of God. When I approached the Pastor of that Church on
it, the Pastor (senior Pastor) was not sure of his understanding of the
Word of God. It in because of these reasons we see cults get formed and
destruction of souls.

In today’s message the Lord is telling us if we want to accelerate our
spiritual growth in His Kingdom we need to be sensitive to His Voice like
Philip was.

Lord, You an Almighty God who never changes. Like You, your Word too never
changes. Lord we pray that we still our lives so that we hear your Voice.
As we hear help us to discern your Voice from other’s voices. Give us the
courage to abide by your Voice and thus accelerate our spiritual lives...

Losses, recession and calamities

Haggai 2: 16,17 - Since those days were, when one came to an heap of 
twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the winepress to 
draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty. I smote 
you with blighting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of 
your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.

In today's message the Lord speaks of loses, recession and calamities.

We read this chapter starts with the Lord speaking through the Prophet 
Haggai to both the social leader (government) and also to the spiritual 
leader (Church). The Lord reminded the Church of the recession and loses 
they faced then the Lord said He is going to shake the Heavens and the 
earth, the sea and dry land also and the wealth of the nations will come 
into the House of the Lord.

Today the Lord is telling us His Church has been seeing a time of 
recession, a time of needs but now God is going to change all that. No 
more will His Church lack. He is stretching His Hand to His people and 
going to bless them abundantly. People are going to come from unheard 
places and going to bless His people. The wealth of the world is going 
to come into the hands of the Believers.

While the Lord gives this good news, He is also telling us there will be 
an increase in calamities among nations. There will be an increase of 
unrest among countries, and wars will increase.

Lord, You are a Living God and what You have declared You bring to past. 
Your Word speaks of all the calamities we are facing today and nothing 
change what You have written. But even in these calamities that are in 
this world Your favour falls on your people and your Hand of protection 
keeps them safe. Those who are fence sitters are shaken for your wrath 
is most on those who are lukewarm. Lord we thank You for your favor that 
falls on your people and we trust You will keep them through this world 
calamities...

The Lord has not forsaken His people

Ezekiel 36:35 - And they shall say, This land that was desolate is 
become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined 
cities are become fortified, and are inhabited.

The moment someone gets this scripture they jump to conclusion that God 
is going to rebuild the country called Israel, since this country is 
made of mainly Jews therefore they are considered as the Jews / Israel 
the Bible talks of in the Old Testament.

Just some time back before I got this message I was discussing with a 
brother who had a heart for the suffering of the Palestinian people. He 
kept calling the Israelites as Zionist. He was unaware what the word 
means but used it because the Muslims use it. He used it as a curse word 
not knowing it meant 'Protected by God' (Zion as an adjective means 
'fortified city', David used it for Jerusalem even though there was no 
walls around Jerusalem) or means 'citizens of Jerusalem' (used as a 
noun, since it was used for Jerusalem).

I am putting this not to make fun of this brother but to show you how 
people think. Like this brother most Christians think the word 'Israel' 
(which means Prince of God / one who has power or authority with God) 
used in the Bible refers to the Jewish nation. They may say 'look 
brother, see how God has been working with this country and manifesting 
His power with them'.

I like to tell this people to look at the Israelites in the Bible. When 
the Lord bought them out of Egypt, He did great and might wonders for 
them too and bought them out. But we see the Lord took them a long 
journey in the wilderness for the Lord knew their hearts; through this 
journey in the wilderness almost all leaving for 2 died. The Lord's Hand 
was protecting them not because they were His people but because of 
their coming generations and mainly because His Name was associated with 
them.

If we look in the book of Ezekiel this scripture comes just before our 
last message (day before yesterday). The Lord showed Ezekiel the vision 
to explain to him who the real Israel is.

Bible teaches us through the Jews, even though we may call ourselves 
Christian or believe in Christ but at the same time if we live our lives 
void of the teachings of Christ, living a worldly lives yet God would be 
going great and mighty wonders in our lives; this He would be doing not 
because of us but because of our coming generations and mainly because 
of His Name sake.

In today's message the Lord is continuing on our last message. He is 
telling us once we take up the burden of Christ and let the Spirit of 
God help us in carrying this burden, as we carry this burden we will see 
our own lives getting renewed and we will see the Nature / Name of 
Christ in us. Then we will be in Christ, and being in Christ all things 
will be possible with us.

The Lord is telling us when the Nature of Christ will come in us we will 
be protected by the Lord (Zion) and like with Jesus, not a hair of our 
heads will be harmed without the will of God. If we read the later 
scriptures the Lord says because He said it He will do it and we know 
the Lord is a keeper of His Word.

If we read Luke 1:37 the English translation sates 'For God nothing is 
impossible'. But when we get into the Greek manuscript the word 
'nothing' is not there, instead there are 3 words 'na', 'pas', 'rhema' 
which in English means no, each and every, spoken word respectively. In 
short the Lord is saying whatever He has said, even the smallest of 
smallest word He will fulfil and He is capable of performing them.

Let us believe in what the Lord is telling us and let us renew our lives 
by surrendering to the Will and Spirit of God.

Lord when man sinned the image of You in him was lost, then You came as 
man and showed us the image of You again. You also made a way for way 
for man to again gain that image in them. Lord we pray your people do 
not be name sake Christians doing some rituals but let Christ come alive 
in them. Let the world know the real Israel by see your Power in them...

Isaih 58:7,8 - Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou
shouldest bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest
the naked, that thou shouldest cover him; and that thou shouldest not hide
thyself from thy own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the
morning, and thy health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness
shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rear guard.

There are many Christians who think as a Christian we need to look after
the poor, the naked and the homeless. It is scriptures like the one we
received today that causes one to think so. We read in Matthew 25:35-37
Jesus directly tells us only when we feed the hungry, quench the thirsty,
clothe the naked, shelter the homeless and care for the sick will we go
heaven. James also speaks of faith without works is worthless. Such
scriptures have made some denominations to pursue Heaven not by faith but
by works. Thus they land up distorting the faith (Word) since it does not
value so much for them.

If we go by this understanding then a rich man who can donate money to feed
the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless etc. has better chance
to go to Heaven. But Jesus says otherwise, He says it is near impossible
for a rich man to go to Heaven. So it is the serving that is important and
not the providing?

To understand this we should look at people who are set as examples in the
Bible for us Christians. These examples include Jesus and His disciples.

We see Jesus did have a heart to the hungry, poor, sick etc. but He did not
pursue them, those He came across He did help. Jesus concentrated His
efforts on His ministry (teaching and spiritually building) more than doing
social service. The Apostles too did the same. They too concentrated on
preaching the Gospel and building people in the Lord more than doing social
service. Acts records an incident where the Apostles’ attention is drawn to
a problem in the free kitchen facility for the widows and orphans. We read
to this the Apostles said it was not good that they spend their time
helping in the kitchen or serving food but it was more important for them
to do the ministry. They were not foolish to deny doing social service and
thus deny themselves from going to Heaven. They had a good understanding of
scriptures thus knew what to do as priority. If one looks closely the
kitchen facility was not for all widows and orphans but only for the
Believer widows and orphans.

We as Christians are called to be merciful for our God is merciful. We are
called to help all people who are in need (even our enemies), but our
priorities are more spiritual than natural. We are called to help the
unbelievers but towards the Believers we are called to love like Christ
loved us, go all out (using wisdom). That means our priorities are greater
towards the Family members than towards the outsiders. We see even though
Jesus delivered the Canaan woman vexed with an evil spirit because of her
faith yet we see He uses the term bread of the children are not given to
the dogs. Jesus said He came for the lost sheep not for the lost goats or
lost dogs or lost wolves even though goats are part of His flock (believe
in Him).

We Christians on earth are here on a mission and our mission is to gather
our Family members and led them to Heaven as Christ leads us. This Family
is not our earthly family but our Heavenly Family. Our earthly family may
or may not be part of our Heavenly Family. We may give our earthly family
the Gospel and save them from Hell but we cannot be assured of them going
to Heaven unless their names are written in the Book of Life. That means
they need to keep the Word and grow in spirit that is why only the person
himself or herself can work his or her salvation, not anyone else can. This
work is not works of righteousness but works of faith (believing and moving
in that belief).

When Jesus said feed the hungry, quench the thirty, shelter the homeless,
clothe the naked and care the sick, He did not emphasize more towards the
natural but towards the spiritual for He himself did not do all this in the
natural. So we as Christians are called to feed the spiritual hungry,
quench the spiritual thirsty, clothe the spiritual naked, shelter the
spiritual homeless and care the spiritual sick and when we do that today’s
message says the light (understanding) of God will break forth in our life
as the morning, we will be both spiritually strong and naturally healthy,
righteousness (the Lord’s righteousness within us) shall go before us and
the glory of the LORD shall guard the areas that are not in our sight
(stated as rear because we being people of authority will have power to
defeat / overcome those in our vision).

Lord, we pray your people have the heart of the Good Shepherd that is in
You. May they have the same love for your sheep as You have. May they know
the importance of oneness as You are one. Lord we pray that your people
reach out and serve each other as You showed us by becoming a Son of Man...

Prophesy unto the dead bones to come alive

Ezekiel 37:9 [KJV AV] - Then said he to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy,
son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the
four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

This scripture loses its real meaning because of the translation being not
perfect. The ESV and the NKJV does better on this verse.

Ezekiel 37:9 [ESV / NKJV] - Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath;
prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come
from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may
live.”

The word translated as breath is the Hebrew word ‘ruwach’ which is usually
translated as spirit. So in its true translation the scripture would be.

Ezekiel 37:9 [Translated] - Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the Spirit;
prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come
from the four Spirit, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, that they may
live.”

One may wonder why the translators chose to use the word breath and wind
instead of Spirit. In the second part of the scripture the term four Spirit
is used thus they preferred to use the word wind and breath instead of
Spirit.

In the Bible like the number seven (seventy) the number four (forty) is
also considered a cardinal number. It is used frequently in both the Old
and New testimony. It is only through the understanding of Bible Numerics
does one understand scriptures like this. The term four Spirit does not
specify quantity, as in numbers of spirits but speaks of the state of the
Spirit that has come down like the Son did so that He could dwell amongst
man who is unworthy.

Understand the Spirit of God and the God the Son are God, and are Holy.
They are so Holy, that in their actual glorious state no living being that
is corrupt (like sinful man) can exist. If God the Son had not humbled
Himself then we could not existed before Him nor would He have been able
come between us to save us, the same is with His Spirit.

Today’s message is telling us to speak unto the Spirit of the Son (Spirit
of God the Son / Holy Spirit) Who was sent down for us. We are called to
ask the Spirit to bring life unto the dead bones so that an army of God can
come to existence.

Like the number four is symbolic here, the term bones is also symbolic. The
term is used here for the nature / character of the people (Israel). That
is why we see scriptures where God promises to protect the bones of His
righteous ones and we also see none of Jesus’s bone were allowed to be
broken. Like bones give shape to our bodies so also our nature gives shape
to our spiritual body. The perfect nature / image of God is what we see in
Jesus Christ.

Today’s scripture tell us to prophesy (ask with expectation since it is
written it will happen) that the Spirit work in the nature of His people
who speak and preach Christianity but lack Christ in them, therefore are
spiritually dead. God is saying do not pray but prophesy for He has written
/ promised it so He will bring it to pass. And once Christ comes alive in
the people they will become an indomitable army.

The Lord is telling us people are seeing situations around them and have
lost hope, they are feeling hopelessness. This hopelessness is like a grave
and God wants them to come out of these graves and experience His power
that is in them and this power will come only when they live their lives
like Jesus did with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord we speak unto you Spirit. Holy Spirit, fill into the bones of your
people. Work in them and bring Christ in them. Let the world see the power
and glory of God in your people like they saw the glory in Jesus Christ.
Let there be thousands and thousands of little Christs today...

The Inner and Outer Boiling Places

Ezekiel 46:22 - In the four corners of the court there were courts 
joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of 
one measure.

We know about people and religions that give great importance to 
numbers. In India the Hindus plan they life and business on based of 
numbers. They even change their names if the number of digits in the 
name is not auspicious or change their residence if the number 
associated with their house is not auspicious to them.

The Muslims as you know give great importance to the number 786. They 
give it as much importance to it as they give it to their god Allah (who 
was one of the 360 pagan gods).

Western, modernised man too has numbers like 13 which due to some old 
story has made it a number to be cautious of. The Christians are also 
not far behind due to their lack of understanding they think any person 
or thing associated with the number 666 is some way connected to Satan.

In the Bible God used numbers a lot not that they by themselves were 
good or bad (good or bad are not people or things but good or bad are to 
do with their deeds). Like all things God created are good so also all 
numbers including 666 are good, but God used numbers in the Bible to 
symbolize or explain the hidden things of God.

We see Jesus fasted for forty days, so did Moses, it is only through 
study of numbers we understand what forty symbolized. This study is 
called Bible numeric. I would not advice anyone to jump to this study 
unless one has done the 3 previous levels of Bible Study i.e. Bible 
Commentary, Scriptural Cross Reference Study and Biblical Word Study 
(study of the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek words).

In today's message we see the numbers four and forty and these are 
symbolically connected to the boiling place.

In his vision Ezekiel is shown 2 boiling (cooking/baking) places one in 
the inner court and one in the outer court. The scripture shows as the 
outer court is connected with the people. Ezekiel in the vision is 
advice not to go out to outer court unless he is done with the 
sacrifices in the inner court.

Note there are 2 types of sacrifices that are performed as mentioned 
here, they are the guilt (trespass) sacrifice and sin sacrifice. The 
sacrifice of guilt is a sacrifice which is offered for the sins one has 
committed unknowingly, this was done only after the sin sacrifice, a 
sacrifice offered for the sins one is aware of. We celebrate the guilt 
sacrifice by the breaking of bread. That is why Paul says one should not 
take part in the breaking of bread unless one has dealt with the sins 
one is aware of at that time. Taking part in breaking of the bread and 
eating of it without dealing with the sins one is aware of results in 
mocking the guilt sacrifice and this angers God even more.

In today's message the Lord is telling us those who are called to lead 
His people have to first deal with their own sinful life before they go 
out to lead the people to come out of their sinful lives. The leaders 
need to deal with both the sins which they are aware of and those which 
they are not aware of.

One will understand today's message also by understanding why leprosy, a 
disease of the skin and flesh was given so much importance and why there 
were certain detailed procedures and sacrifices for reinstalling a 
person suffering from leprosy back into the congregation.

Let us give God's work due respect and sanity. So let us sanctify 
ourselves like a doctor disinfects himself before attending to his patients.

Lord, we thank You for finding us worthy to do your work so that we can 
be blessed greatly in Heaven. Lord, we pray each one of us understands 
the seriousness of doing your work and value the love You have for your

Guard your faith and love

2 Timothy 1

Key scriptures

13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in 
faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

14That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost 
which dwelleth in us.

Today I received not a verse but a chapter, which is the first chapter 
of Paul's second letter to Timothy, advising him to guard his faith and 
love.

Paul tells Timothy the fact being Christian life is not easy and worldly 
people will persecute you. The suffering is not due to lack of 
provisions or due to sicknesses but suffering is due to worldly people 
hating you. There are some denominations of Christians who think 
suffering is a blessing from God and therefore accept sickness and 
poverty as a blessing and take pride in them. Then there is the other 
lot who are on the extreme other end, they rebuke suffering and desire 
abundance of this world, the very thing that the Lord said will deprive 
a person from going to Heaven.

Jesus said we as Christians will be hated by the world not only because 
we preach Jesus Christ as Lord but more because of the way we live our 
life (witness Him), we will make the people of the world guilty of their 
wrongs. We are not called to live in need for God is our provider nor 
are we called to live in abundance of this world for our treasures and 
hearts are in Heaven. We as Christians are called to live a sober life 
and a life with all our needs met.

Paul tells Timothy to guard the understanding which we received from 
Christ Jesus and also tells Timothy the way to guard it. Paul does not 
tell Timothy to fast and pray to guard it, nor do any like of activity 
for it. Paul tells Timothy to let the Holy Spirit who dwells in us to do 
the guarding.

When I was just growing in the Lord I did not understand the concept of 
God dwelling in us. As a person struggling with sin I would wonder how a 
God so holy and mighty could dwell in me. I would think is there a room 
inside me in which God would dwell? I knew God was omnipotent and there 
is no place where God is not there so what was special with those 
baptized in Christ?

It was later as my understanding grew and I came to know more of the 
inner man, the main working field within us, I understood, the more we 
desire the Kingdom of God and keep His Word the more the glory of God 
grows in us. God is everywhere but yet Heaven is called His dwelling 
place for His glory is more in Heaven than any other place. Therefore 
when we claim God dwells in us then we need to see the glory of God in us.

Paul tells Timothy indirectly by letting God (Holy Spirit) work in us 
and through us we will experience the glory of God and this will help us 
guard our faith and love. In other world we will be like mini Heavens on 
earth and thus dwellers of His Kingdom. If we are declaring the Lord as 
King then let us make available a throne for the King and no better 
throne then our hearts.

Lord You who are so mighty and powerful have found it worthy to let your 
glory shine in us. Lord we pray that like Heaven is a glorious and holy 
place so also our inner-man also becomes a temple wherein You dwell.

What is His Name?

Acts 7:45 [KJV] - Which also our fathers that came after brought in with 
Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the 
face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

When I received this message I was a little confused seeing the name 
Jesus connected to the Tabernacle of Moses, later when I saw other 
translations I saw the name Joshua instead of Jesus!!

Acts 7:45 [ASV / ESV] - Which also our fathers, in their turn, brought 
in with Joshua when they entered on the possession of the nations, that 
God thrust out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

To understand the truth of today's message took me a long time (a few 
months, for I verify every understanding with all scriptures to confirm 
it) a few years back.

We all know there is power in the Name of Jesus but all think it is in 
the word 'Jesus'.

Jesus is the English substitute which came from the Latin translation of 
the Greek word 'Iesous' (taken English equivalent of the Greek 
alphabets). Greek language was official language of all the regions 
under the Greek Empire, later Roman Empire (like English has become a 
world language because of the British Empire). The Jews being people of 
tradition, they did not speak Greek among themselves but spoke Aramaic 
(since they spend many years in Babylon, where they picked up this 
language alone with many of the Babylonian traditions), but when it came 
to things concerning scriptures and temple activities it was usually 
Hebrew. So the Jews at the time of Jesus spoke all the 3 languages 
Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.

In today's times a name across various languages remains constant like 
'Tom' will be the name of the person in English, Hindi, Urdu, Malay etc. 
the script will change but the pronunciation will not since we give 
value to the phonics. One of the main reasons for importance of phonics 
is many of the names we have today have no meaning; they are mostly 
given because they sound good or taken from another language without 
understanding. But during the times of Jesus and before that the people 
gave names that had meanings. Thus we see the name Jesus did not sound 
the same across the languages that existed during those times.

People debate on what is the right word for it is written in Acts 4:12 
that there is salvation in no other name. But when one reads John 17:12 
Jesus says to the Father that He has kept them in the Father's Name, the 
Name which the Father has given Him. In another scripture Jesus says if 
we have known Him, we will know the Father for in Him is the Father. 
Jesus was referring to the Nature of the Father in Him. Thus if we know 
the Nature of Jesus we will know the Father.

'Jesus' or 'Iesous' or 'Yeshua' or 'Joshua' or 'Jehoshua' they all mean 
'God saves' / 'God my slavation'.

It is very important that we understand when we call on the word (name) 
Jesus we are aware of what the name means and to who do we refer to. 
Unless we do not understand the meaning of the name and do not know who 
this Jesus was / is we will not experience the power that is in the 
Name. The power is not in the word but in knowing the person to whom it 
belongs and His purpose / mission.

In today's message we see the translators were confused as to who was 
referred in the scripture and instead of Joshua the KJV translators put 
Jesus. Let us not be confused with another Jesus by tagging on to the 
word, but let us know the real Jesus and tag on to Him.

Lord, there are many who call themselves Christians and claim they 
believe in Jesus Christ but sadly they do not know the Name and the 
Character of Jesus. They do not know the Nature of God the Son who 
humbled Himself became a Son of God and came as Son of Man Jesus. Lord

Set the order according to Him

Ezra 6:18 - And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites 
in their courses, for the service of God, who is at Jerusalem; as it is 
written in the book of Moses.

We read I the Bible the Lord had set a structure for the Priests (People 
who serve the Temple of God / Body of Christ). Moses implemented it and 
saw the glory of God. David implemented it and saw the glory of God. In 
today's message we read Ezra too implemented it and he too saw the glory 
of God what was impossible became possible, the greatest of enemies and 
situations that came against them could not bring them down, they had 
victory over every situation.

People may say this order was for the Jews according to their tribes. If 
one understands what the 12 tribes symbolized and why God set the order 
then one would realized Jesus bought out the same but with true 
understanding and Paul wrote on it (that is why Jesus nor Paul nor any 
Apostle spoke or wrote on the 12 tribes but yet Revelation speaks of 
it). But one would not find everything in one verse or chapter or in one 
book of the NT. One needs to put all the references together and super 
impose them like a template over scriptures of the Old Testament to get 
the true picture.

We see in today's Christian Churches, Satan has infused an order which 
has its roots in the Catholic Church and the Bible credits this roots to 
Nicolas, who was a Jewish heretic converted to Christianity but infused 
his heretic teachings into the Christian Churches. Paul, Peter and 
Revelation warn about this Anti-Christ spirit, but yet as prophesized 
this spirit ruled the Christian Churches for hundreds of years 
(1260years -- about 300AD to 1560AD approx. - Reformation). Today even 
though we Believers have come out of many of the doctrines of that 
Church yet we have not come to follow the order which God has set but 
yet follow the order as defined by the Nicolaitans.

I have times and again heard Pastors and Preachers speak of authority of 
Church leaders and how one needs to abide under the authority. It is sad 
due to the lack of understanding and the blinds over their eyes they are 
commanding Christians to become Nicolaitans, submit to an authority 
which God has not set but set by man under satanic influence. The Church 
does not see the glory of God and we ask God again and again why we 
experience persecutions, why does not the enemy come to their knees 
before the people of God?

The Lord is telling us doing our own things will let us experience the 
glory of God. Do it His Way and see High Way, the glory of God.

Lord, You made man as a being who has the image of You in Him. This 
image was not only in the spirit but even the physical body has the 
image in its design. In the understanding of the image we understand the 
functioning of the Church as defined in scriptures. Lord, You made man 
with 2 hand 2 legs and not with four legs as you made most of the 
animals. You made man with multiple organs which work with each other as 
a system depending on each other even though they work independently 
unlike many creatures; all this for a purpose. But man has made a 
Frankenstein of your body the Church doing their own things. Lord, may 
the Church understand the working of your Body and that there is glory 
only in your system as to the order You set...

Seek Him that you be hidden in day of the Lord's anger

Zephaniah 2:3 - Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, who have
performed his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye
shall be hidden in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Today's scripture needs a little correction in order to understand it
fully, the translation is not perfect.

Zephaniah 2:3 - Seek ye the LORD, all ye poor [needy] of the earth, who
perform [the tense is Qal which is casual - simple past] his judgment;
earnestly seek [grammar tense is Piel which means intensely]
righteousness, earnestly seek [grammar tense is Piel which means
intensely] meekness: it may be ye shall be hidden in the day of the
LORD'S anger.

Just before I sat to write this message I was posting a scripture on FB
- Mark 2:15-17 where Jesus sits with tax collectors and sinners, along
with His disciples in a house to eat and talk to them, so when the
Pharisees and scribes saw Him eating with them, they raised a question
as to why He was associating with them. To this Jesus said He came for
the sinners. Note Jesus did not just say that He came for sinners but
said He came for the 'sinners to repentance'. Many people omit the words
'to repentance'.

Understand unless one knows God and how Holy He is till then one will
never come to know how sinful one is and how unworthy one is to come
before Him. It is the knowledge of God that brings one to know and need
the Son, and then brings them to need the Holy Spirit so as to become
one with the Son. Therefore Jesus said baptize (bring then to know and
submit) in the Name of the Father, then the Son and then the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said He alone is the way and it is only via Him that we can return
to Heaven and have access to the Tree of Life to have eternal life.
Unless we do not know how unworthy we are we will not need Jesus and be
baptized in Him.

There are people who think they are good enough therefore do not need to
be deep into Jesus or surrender their lives to Him and His teachings.
They are comfortable here and think after death all will be good for
they follow a religion and their religious leaders tell them 'all is
well', 'God is merciful and loving and whatsoever they do if they say
sorry or offer some prayers or donation, God will forgive them'. These
people consider God to be a fool and a Being without principles or
values. They do not know the meaning of Righteousness an important
aspect of God.

God is surely merciful and love but He is also righteous. He is merciful
to those who know Him and even to those who do not know Him. His mercy
is surely more on those who know Him but He does not kill or destroy all
those who do not knowledge Him. He alone gives provision to all and life
and no one can live or die without Him will but people do not know that
He created this world as a stage to justify the destruction of evil and
we who overcome it will be blessed in Him. So those who love good will
come to Him and those who love evil will not. So at the end all who are
not pursuing His goodness will face His anger and will be destroyed.

Bible says those who believe in Jesus Christ will not be judged for
their sins since He paid the price for all our sins - past, present and
future and they will not go to Hell. But that does not mean all who
believe in Him will go to Heaven. Bible says they will be judged, not
for their sins but for keeping or not keeping His Father's Will.

One would say 'how is it possible to keep the Will of the Father, none
could before'. Understand we live in the grace of Jesus Christ so He
gave us His Spirit and it is the Spirit of God who enables us to keep
His Will; that is why only those who are baptized in Jesus and the Holy
Spirit will go to Heaven.

Today's message says those who know they are unworthy and seek to be
saved from the anger of God on Judgement day, from them those who
earnestly His righteousness and humility, and keep His Will, will be
saved from His anger. So what we all we need to know how serious the
matter would be on Judgement Day, then we need to be desperate to come
to God with the help of His Son and His Spirit, to seek to be like Him -
righteous and humble, keeping the Will of God.

Lord, You are Creator and all life come from You alone. Towards You is
life and far from You is death. Even though people are far from You, yet
it is your mercy that keeps them alive but soon You will judge all. Only
those who seek your ways receive eternal life and the rest shall pay for
seeking death. Lord we pray all those who read this message and those
whom You have put in our lives will repent from their sinful ways and
seek You earnestly...

For a few silver pieces

Matthew 27:5-7

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and
went and hanged himself.

6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful
to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury
strangers in.

We read in today’s scripture how Judas who had for a few silver coins sold
his salvation, his Lord and Master, at the end regretted and threw those
coins at the people who gave him, the religious people and then being
shameful for his act he killed himself. The religious people also were
guilty of what they did so did not keep the money, they made excuses to
avoid keeping the money, so they bought the land which was of no use,
totally infertile and was used by potters for retrieving clay to make pots.
This land being inhabitable and of no use they allocated to bury strangers
(unidentifiable people). This they did so as to show their goodness to the
people and to justify their wrong doings to their own guilt.

We see both Judas and the religious people were aware they did wrong but
yet they both did not repent. Judas regretted his wrong doing and killed
himself; he lost not only his earthly live but also his spirit life. He
lost the pleasures of this life and went to hell to pay for the wrong
doings of his earthly life until his spirit life perishes (which is in
thousands of years). The religious people on the other hand being guilt
thought of a way to justify themselves both to the people and to their
guilt. They may not have gone to Hell because of their belief in Yahweh. If
they had gone to Hell they would pay for their sins, which would surely be
more than Judas who did not try to justify his guilt. And if they did not
go to Hell then surely they are in for a worse punishment on Judgement Day.

The worse enemies of God are religion and homosexuality. We read in the
Bible in both these cases when things went out of limits God Himself
intervened and destroyed them, for both these directly or indirectly mock
Him.

In my early years of spiritual life when I saw a ‘Man and Woman of God’
misleading people and destroying people spiritually I wanted to confront
them but the Lord restrained me warning me the self-righteous spirit in
them will cause me great harm. But later as I became spiritually strong I
was in a position to confront them.

Today God is asking us, is a few coins of silver worth the suffering that
we will pay for them?

You may wonder what few coins God is talking of?

Man via religion tries to justify his sinful life and enjoy the pleasures
of this world which is for a few years. These pleasures may not be monetary
or materialistic but may be pleasures of the mind like fame, power,
self-righteousness, worldly wisdom etc. God is telling us we can fool
people and fool ourselves but we cannot change the Truth nor fool God.

Let us not destroy our lives for a few coins of silver. Let us not pursue
the pleasures of this world or the things of this world at the heavy cost
of our spirit lives.

Lord, You are without beginning and without end and your Kingdom too is
eternal. Man knows in You alone is life and yet just to enjoy the carnal
pleasures of this world willingly pay a heavy price after death. Lord, we
pray those who read this message that their eyes open and they realize the
price they pay for these few coins of silver...

The Genealogy of Jesus the Messiah

Two of the Gospel writers took lots of pain to record the genealogy of
Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Matthew was written long before the Gospel of
Luke. Matthew had recorded the ‘official’ genealogy of Jesus through Joseph
and Luke wrote the genealogy through Mary that is why we see a difference
in lineage after David.

One may say what purpose do these genealogies serve?

The genealogy serves many, many purposes; firstly that Jesus on earth was a
human and had human ancestors. Although Bible confirms He was born before
Mary married Joseph and had relationship with her, yet as per municipal
records Jesus was recorded as the son of Joseph the carpenter (actually the
Greek word means builder, some Jewish records state he was into
construction of houses).

The genealogy of Jesus through Mary exposes the Mary whom the Catholic
Church calls as ‘Mother Mary’ is not the mother of Jesus for the parents of
that Mary do not match with the Mary in the Bible who is the mother of
Jesus also the Bible states Mary was a virgin until she gave birth to Jesus
and after that she had relationship with her husband and had children from
him, while the Mother Mary of the Catholic Church claims to be virgin even
after the birth of Jesus. One needs to know a Jewish marriage (in fact any
marriage) is not complete until the couple had physical relationship with
one another. Thus this ‘Mother Mary’ makes the Bible as a book that is
trying to lie about her marriage.

Everywhere we see Mary the daughter of Heli was called the mother of Jesus,
but one thing we see Jesus directly did not call His mother as ‘mother’ but
refers to her as ‘woman’, leaving for one place when He talks to ‘loved
one’ (many think this person as John but study point him to be James His
younger brother to whom He handed over the responsibility to care for her,
all the disciples had forsaken Him until His death as prophesized). Did
Jesus not respect His mother? If He had not He would have disobeyed the Law
but scriptures say He obeyed fully the Law and was without blemish.

We need to understand when Jesus said do not call anyone your Father it did
not go against the Law of God which states every person needs to honour
their parents. It simply meant even though we are born of our parents yet
our parents are not our creators or providers. The Greek word translated as
father also means creator and provider. We are created by God and put into
this world through our parents (before birth we are in the loins of our
fathers and bought into the flesh in the womb of our mothers). As long as
we dwell in the flesh our relationship with our parents exist, the moment
we Believers exit the flesh we are the same void of earthly relation (as
brethren / spirit being / Angels). So what remains of our ancestors is not
our relationship but only their testimonies and that is the same with us.
When we die we will be no longer earthly beings but will be spirit beings
and when we resurrect on the coming of Christ we will be exactly like the
Angels who are called Sons of God. All that remains of us in this world
after our earthly death are our testimonies.

History confirms all the so called ‘good’ people are also hated people for
as many love them, there are also that many who hate them. Our testimonies
hold no good unless our testimony is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus the human had a genealogy but as Lord / God He was without a human
father or mother, that is why He referred to His mother not as mother
directly but as woman. People mistake Paul in his letter to the Hebrews
Paul spoke of Melchisedec as being without father and mother. Paul actually
states Melchisedec (which means ‘king of righteousness’) who was king of
Salem (which means ‘peace’ an ancient name for Jerusalem) represented the
real King of Righteousness and King of Peace which is the Lord Jesus
Christ. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who was without father and without
mother and not Melchisedec, for we see Paul continues stating He was
‘without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but
made like unto the Son of God’. It confesses the humbling of God the Son as
Son of God and coming as man. Jesus the son of man was Prince of Peace but
the Lord Jesus Christ as God the Son was King of Peace.

The Lord is telling us we who are in Christ and led by His Spirit are less
of humans in the flesh and more Spirit beings. He also says all Believers
as Spirit beings are one family and we are to be one like the Heavenly
Family (Godhead). The Son came from the Father and their Spirit is the same
so they are ONE. We too should remember we all came from God and share the
same Spirit for we are led by the Spirit of the Son.

Let us overcome our earthly gender (male and female) and overcome our
earthly relationships, our genealogies but let us live more in spirit led
by the Spirit of God and be ONE.

Lord, You alone are God and You are Spirit. Man in all his wisdom cannot
understand You for he does not understand the basic elements of the Spirit
Kingdom. His lack of knowledge and understanding has blinded him from
having faith and overcoming this corrupt world, not the world You created
but the world that was corrupted by the knowledge of evil. You gave us your
Word so that by our faith in your Word we may overcome this corruption.
Lord we pray we live by faith and not by sight. We may know who we really
are; that we may live more and more in the Spirit and less in the flesh,
that we may be one as You are ONE...

Making men with authority

Mark 3:14,15 - And he appointed twelve, that they should be with him, and
that he might send them forth to preach, And to have authority to heal
sicknesses, and to cast out demons:

Today’s message says Jesus selected twelve that they may preach to the
world and that they may have authority to heal sickness and cast demons.
But we see they did not do any such things the very next moment in fact
from this moment onwards Jesus started their training. He started teaching
them the understanding of scriptures and took them along with Him as He
moved around from place to place so that they get a hands-on practical
training.

We see people become Pastors and Preachers even though they do not have a
proper understanding of scriptures. Just because they start operating in
the gifts of the Holy Spirit of they do the works of the community does not
mean they are ready to minister to people. It is by God’s grace that a few
do not get consumed by this world but many get lost in this world, for
their foundation in the Kingdom of God is not strong. Soon or later their
value system change and they start to justify their worldly desires as
spiritual desires.

The Lord is telling us to take caution. The Apostles did not put mighty
anointed men like Stephen, Philip among the seven others to preach directly
but perfected them with giving them duty like feeding the widows and
orphans, managing the kitchen along with their spiritual training and
scriptural study.

Just sitting in a classroom studying scriptures and praying will not make
anyone a person a Preacher, a Pastor and a person of authority. Jesus said
when we know the Truth and be His disciples then only we will be free from
this worldly corruption.

Surely we may not have perfect Pastors, perfect Preachers, but surely we
will have strong Pastors, strong Preachers, people who exercise authority
in the Spiritual world.

Lord, we pray the leaders of the Church do not get influenced by those
crowd pullers and commission them as Pastors and Preachers, but be led by
your Spirit and train them like Jesus did before commissioning them...

Align with The Stone or be destroyed

Matthew 41:44 - And whoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: 
but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

In today's message the Lord is not talking of a small stone. The Greek 
word for small stone is Petros (Peter); the stone mentioned here is 
lithos and refers to the builder's corner stone (v42). When some build a 
house they used small stones (brick size) but when they build a huge 
structure like a pyramid or castle they used large stones (like blocks). 
Now imagine a Stone used for building the Kingdom of God how large would 
that Stone is.

Jesus rebuked the Jews and told them since they rejected Him, they were 
rejected by God and the Kingdom of God was taken away from them and 
given to the Gentiles. That means anyone who is Jew (follows the Jewish 
traditions and laws) will not go to Heaven. People think a Jew who 
accepts Christ will go to Heaven; surely anyone who accepts Christ will 
get to go to Heaven but a Jew who accepts Christ cannot still remain a 
Jew that means he or she needs to give up the Jewish way of life (life 
full of traditions and human laws) and live a life led by the Spirit of 
God (Christianity - Christ like). Like there is no Muslim Christian, 
Hindu Christian, Buddhist Christian so also there is not Jewish 
Christian for Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism do not go alone with 
Christianity. Even Catholicism and Christianity also do not go alone. 
One can be either Catholic or a Christian but cannot be both. A Catholic 
is a person who follows Catechism of the Catholic Church which rejects 
Jesus Christ as Saviour and the only way to God, so indirectly it 
rejects His sacrifice.

The scripture says those who do not align with the Builder's Corner 
Stone will see destruction. Either the Stone will cause them to stumble 
(fall on the Stone means stumble against it) and become pieces (speaks 
of unbelievers) or the Stone will fall on them and completely destroy 
them that is grind them like dust (speaks of those who believe and yet 
do not align fully - Stone falls on them here means they come under its 
judgement).

The Lord is warning us all, do not mix worldly religion with 
Christianity and say I will be saved and will go to Heaven. God is 
telling them either follow His Will (Word) completely or face His wrath.

Lord, You are the giver of life to all things even though all things are 
created by You for your glory yet all things will not be part of You to 
enjoy eternal life. Lord, when You made man You knew sin would come into 
man and who among them will turn their hearts to You, to them You gave 
the seed of faith. A seed that enables them to believe in You. Even 
though all who believe will be saved from Hell yet everyone that 
believes will not go to Heaven but only those who let the seed to die 
and bear fruit will. Lord, help us to die to ourselves and surrender 
fully and completely to You and your Word so that the Stone (your wrath) 
will not fall on us or we fall on the Stone (stumble - reject You) and 
be destroyed.

He forsakes not His saints, but...

Psalms 37:28 - For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his 
saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be 
cut off.

We hear of persecution of Christians in various parts of the world and 
yet we have scriptures like today's message.

Today's message talks of the Lord being a Righteous God and He will not 
forsake His saints. That means He takes total care of them and without 
His will not even the hair of His saints can anyone touch. But at times 
we see He allows them to be slayed at the hands of the enemy and we see 
by their death they witness God and cause people to come to God by the 
thousands.

During the time of the Apostles the Lord allowed all the Apostles to die 
as martyrs leaving for John whom the Lord saved miraculously, he was 
thrown in a pot of boiling oil to die. We read during these times even 
though the Christians were thrown to the lions or nailed on crosses they 
were singing praise to the Lord. These deaths did not go vain they 
caused the hearts of many to change and turn to God.

At the same time we have heard of many miracles where Christians have 
been saved miraculously from the hands of death like a few Christian was 
saved when terrorist struck Mumbai. This happened in Cama hospital when 
the Pakistani terrorist asked a family of 3 men their religion and when 
they confused proudly they were Christians they were told to lie down 
and the terrorist placed their guns on the back of their heads to shoot. 
These men were worshipping God and not crying for their lives. But when 
they pulled the trigger at least 3 times the guns got jammed and did not 
work. At that time some police men arrived and started shooting so in 
the commotion the terrorist left then and ran. Their guns later were 
working. In the court room when these Christians were called as 
witnesses the terrorist acknowledged the incident.

On the other hand there are times when God was angry with His people 
that He caused disasters to fall upon them like He did to the Jews after 
the death of Jesus. Bible says the disasters which the Jews saw is 
little to the disasters the people of the false Church will see. When I 
understood this scripture many years back I could not imagine how this 
would happen in parallel to the great things that would happen in the 
Kingdom of God and today I can see how things are unfolding.

In today's message the Lord is telling us His Hand is not short that He 
cannot save His people. When people repent and turn to Him to led a holy 
life, He calls them His saints and He brings them under His wings. But 
those who know Him, yet live a life void of Him and bring His Name down, 
on those He causes destruction to fall. His wrath is so harsh that He 
does not stop there even their generations' face His wrath unless they 
repent and lead a holy life.

Lord, we pray that we do not fall on the wrong hand of your judgment. 
That we pursue holiness and be called your saints and remain under your 
wings. Lord we pray for mercy on those who live a life void of You even 
after knowing You, that their hearts change, they turn to You and see

Ezekiel 23:2-34

2Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3And they committed prostitutions in Egypt; they committed prostitutions 
in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised 
the teats of their virginity.

4And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: 
and they were mine, and they bore sons and daughters. Thus were their 
names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

5And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her 
lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,

6Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them 
desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.

7Thus she committed her prostitutions with them, with all them that were 
the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all 
their idols she defiled herself.

8Neither left she her prostitutions brought from Egypt: for in her youth 
they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and 
poured their prostitution on her.

9Why I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of 
the Assyrians, on whom she doted.

10These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, 
and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they 
had executed judgment on her.

11 And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her 
inordinate love than she, and in her prostitutions more than her sister 
in her prostitutions.

12She doted on the Assyrians her neighbors, captains and rulers clothed 
most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.

13Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

14And that she increased her prostitutions: for when she saw men 
portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,

15Girded with girdles on their loins, exceeding in dyed attire on their 
heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the 
Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

16And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted on them, and sent 
messengers to them into Chaldea.

17And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled 
her with their prostitution, and she was polluted with them, and her 
mind was alienated from them.

18So she discovered her prostitutions, and discovered her nakedness: 
then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from 
her sister.

19Yet she multiplied her prostitutions, in calling to remembrance the 
days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20For she doted on their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of 
asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

21Thus you called to remembrance the lewdness of your youth, in bruising 
your teats by the Egyptians for the breasts of your youth.

22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus said the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise 
up your lovers against you, from whom your mind is alienated, and I will 
bring them against you on every side;

23The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and 
all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains 
and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding on horses.

24And they shall come against you with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and 
with an assembly of people, which shall set against you buckler and 
shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and 
they shall judge you according to their judgments.

25And I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal furiously 
with you: they shall take away your nose and your ears; and your remnant 
shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; 
and your residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26They shall also strip you out of your clothes, and take away your fair 
jewels.

27Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your 
prostitution brought from the land of Egypt: so that you shall not lift 
up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28For thus said the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver you into the hand 
of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your mind is 
alienated:

29And they shall deal with you hatefully, and shall take away all your 
labor, and shall leave you naked and bore: and the nakedness of your 
prostitutions shall be discovered, both your lewdness and your 
prostitutions.

30I will do these things to you, because you have gone a whoring after 
the heathen, and because you are polluted with their idols.

31You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore will I give her 
cup into your hand.

32Thus said the Lord GOD; You shall drink of your sister's cup deep and 
large: you shall be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it contains much.

33You shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of 
astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.

34You shall even drink it and suck it out, and you shall break the 
shards thereof, and pluck off your own breasts: for I have spoken it, 
said the Lord GOD.

The Hand of God

Ezra 7:8,9,10 - And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in
the seventh year of the king. For upon the first day of the first month he
began to go from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he came
to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. For Ezra had
prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach
in Israel statutes and judgments.

We read in today’s message Ezra gets unexpected permission from the king
and was able to go to Jerusalem with a team of people and the credit to do
this Ezra gives to the ‘Hand of God’.

We see this phrase ‘Hand of God’ also used in the book of Nehemiah and few
other books. Most of them speak of mighty good works connected to the Hand
of God but there are some incidents like in 1 Samuel 5:11 and Job which
talks of great disaster connected to the Hand of God. In Samuel we find a
whole city is destroyed by the Hand of God and in Job he claims his
suffering was due to the Hand of God.

In the New Testament we find only 2 references to the Hand of God one in
Acts and the other in Peter. Most of the other places it speaks of the
right hand of God which refers to the Righteous side of God since God is
not a man to have hands. So what then what does the phrase ‘Hand of God’
meant?

If we read Ezekiel chapter 8 Ezekiel is shown a vision and in the vision he
starts with the ‘Hand of God’ falling over him and later he uses the term
‘Spirit’ for the ‘Hand of God’.

The Spirit of God is the Hand of God and in the book of Moses also called
Finger of God. When the Spirit of God is on us we can do incredible feats
but we should also realize at times the Spirit of God tests us like He did
to Job to take us to the next level of blessing. There are also times when
the Spirit of God can cause great destruction for the Spirit of God is God
and has the Power of God.

The Word of God says all things were created by the Spirit of God for the
Son. In the Old Testament the Spirit of God was on a few and at time only
for a mission. Jesus as man claimed the Spirit of God on Him. He alone was
the first to be called Christ which means the One on whom the Spirit of God
dwells. Even though before Jesus we had Men of God on whom the Spirit of
God dwelled, yet we see Jesus was the first to be called Christ. That is
because when we say Spirit of God it refers not to just 1 but refers to the
7 Spirits of God who are still 1. The Spirit of God was depicted in the Old
Testament Tabernacle by the candle stand with the 7 candles sticks.

We who are in Christ (believe in Jesus Christ) have the promise of the Hand
of God over us but yet we do not see all operating under the Hand of God.

In today’s message Ezra explains the reason the Hand of God was over him
and that is because he desired to know and study the Law of God.

We too who desire the Kingdom of God and His Word are assured the Hand of
God over us. That means we need to have a desire to know and study the Word
of God for His Word is His Will His Law unto us.

So let us all be filled with a desire to study the Word of God and let us
see the manifestation of the Hand of God on our lives.

Lord, your Word says when your Hand was over your people your glory
manifested through them. Things which were impossible became possible. It
also says your Hand caused destruction to those opposed You and at the same
time it was your Hand that moulded your people to grow in You and be
blessed more in You. Lord we pray that we be filled with a desire to know
and study your Word so that your Hand increase on us and your glory
manifest through us...

We make this prayer in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ezra 8:18 - And by the good hand of our God on us they brought us a man of
understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel;

the first month, to go to Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was on us, and
he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by

appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house

me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken to me. And they said, Let
us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.

Job 19:21 - Have pity on me, have pity on me, O you my friends; for the
hand of God has touched me.

Job 27:11 - I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the
Almighty will I not conceal.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 - There is nothing better for a man, than that he should

Surely I will remember thy wonders of old

Psalms 77:11 - I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will 
remember thy wonders of old.

We may be disheartened due to the problems that surround us or things 
not going our way. The Lord is telling us not to be saddened and loose 
hope. He is telling us to remember the things He has done in our life 
and the things He has done in the lives of people before.

Surely every one of us would be having some testimony of how God has 
changed situations in our lives, bought us out of deep problems. Even if 
we are not able to remember them the Lord is saying remember those He 
has done in the lives of others, these He is able to do in or lives. If 
we still fail then remember the Bible is a complete book. It is like a 
library by itself that has all things needed for our salvation (only 
excluding our willingness). We can always refer to the great wonders God 
has done in the lives of His people as recorded in the Bible.

God is telling us our darkness is not dark enough to hold back His light 
from shining in our lives.

You may say brother why is then God not breaking through my darkness?

Understand when an egg is broken from the outside life perishes but when 
it is broken from inside it brings forth life in fullness.

For us to break our dark shell we need either have faith or worship or 
thanksgiving. By exercising our faith we can break forth our shell of 
darkness, by worshiping God for who He is we can break forth our shell 
of darkness, and as the Lord is telling us today if we continually thank 
Him for all that He has done in our lives, we can break the shell of 
darkness around us.

Lord, You are a wonderful God and You are awesome. You have done awesome 
wonders in the life of your people as recorded in the Bible. The are 
many among us who can witness the great wonders You have done in our 
lives. We thank You Lord for your mercy and grace in our lives. We 
surely know that even today You able do great wonders in our lives. Help 
us not to lose hope and perish...

Why does God do that?

Daniel 1:2 - And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, 
with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the 
land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into 
the treasure house of his god.

When we see all the suffering that Christians are going through in 
various places there are different reactions from various people. 
Majority of the Christians feel sad and pray for the people suffering. 
Ironically from these a large number actually lift up Satan and evil 
powers. They feel helpless towards these evil powers and put these 
powers even to the level of God and ask God to fight them. Is God a man 
to fight another man or an Angel to fight a fallen angel? They fail to 
know who God is and fail to know the powers God has given us.

The question then comes if God is indeed Almighty God and nothing can 
happen without His consent then why does God allow such events to happen 
to His people. The best way to understand this is to see it through the 
Bible which is a book that answers all.

The Bible says those who will enter the gates of Heaven, their names are 
already written in the Book of Life. So we see everything is known to 
God including the past, present hidden things inside us and also our 
future. Although all are created by God yet all are not children of God. 
The Word of God says those who have the seed of faith in them are 
children of God. That does not mean all who have the seed of faith 
(believe in Him) will go to Heaven. Scriptures say those who bear fruit 
of this seed are the ones who will go to Heaven. That means one needs to 
die to one's self and be born again like a seed dies so as to germinate. 
Just dying to oneself is not called being born again; to be born again 
one needs to also live after the dying, but this living is living for 
the Kingdom of God (God and His people), like after the seed dies a 
plant spouts out of it and the sapling grows against all odds to develop 
into a mature plant / tree that bears fruit, this is the same with our 
spirit and inner-man (soul) have to bear and grow the Fruits if the Holy 
Spirit.

Now that we know the desired result let us understand the current events.

When man eats fruits like an apple he eats it with the skin, for the 
maximum taste, proteins and vitamins of the apple is in its skin. But 
when man eats a banana he peels out its skin to eat it, he discards the 
skin even though the skin has great amounts of proteins and vitamins. If 
one tells a person that the banana peel contains organic potassium, 
magnesium and phytates (which cause increase in bone density) yet they 
will not eat it. It is actually good not to eat it for the peel also has 
Saponins (which paralyses the sensory system), Oxalates (which causes 
kidney to decrease intake of calcium and thus cause kidney stones) and 
Hydrogen Cyanides (a poisonous substance).

When one knows the later part, one would feel happy they do consume the 
banana peel. Even though the harmful substances exist in the peel it 
does not affect a person or animal that consumes a few peels but will 
affect a being who regularly consumes them. Man even though did not know 
these facts yet avoided consuming the peel. But God who is all knowing 
does all things with knowledge. We who know little may feel things are 
good or bad but God who is all knowing is the best judge.

Bible shows we who know God are loved and protected by God but we are 
also judged by God more than those who are ignorant of Him. As man sees 
more the glory of God the judgement of God also increases in quickness 
and in effect. We see sinful man sees greater mercy of God but a Man of 
God who backslides sees harsh judgement of God quickly. Those who are 
given more, more is expected of them.

Bible also shows to save a soul or to give it an increase, God at times 
puts them through disasters like in the case of King Saul and Job 
respectively. That is why when we see Christians suffering we cannot 
point a finger and state they suffer for their evil for other than God 
and they themselves can be the best judge.

The Lord is giving us this message not to sit and ponder on very small 
thing (for we have a limited knowledge and understanding) that happens 
but to be spiritually aware that nothing just happens and even when 
things happen God is still God and He is still in control.

Lord You are Almighty God who is all knowing and your wisdom is 
immeasurable. In the Bible You warned us of disastrous events long in 
advance and You also said when these events happen not to fear for You 
would do the needful. Lord, help us not to lose heart but to praise You 
in all things for You do all things for the good of those who love You. 
You alone know all things and their purpose...

Faith and unbelievers

2 Kings 4:24, 25 - Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, 
Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. 
So she went and came to the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to 
pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his 
servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:

In this incident between Elisha and the Shunammite woman which is 
recorded in chapter 4 of the second book of Kings we read of the great 
miracle where in Elisha brings back to life a dead boy. If one has a 
close look at the Shunammite woman she was not a person who believed 
directly in Yahweh / God. She was either a heathen or one who had very 
little faith in God, but she respected Elisha a lot as a Man of God for 
he was famous in the land.

We see among heathen they run after godmen more because of their fame. 
They are blinded by mass effect; they think if many are following then 
it should be right. They also think if any belief has been there since 
long then it should be right. This is not the thinking of the 
unbelievers but also among Believers it is the same story. If any famous 
Preacher gives any doctrine every one laps it up without question. Also 
if a doctrine has been in existence in the Church since a long time no 
person can question it and if any person does he or she is branded as a 
deceiver, a false prophet, a wolf, an antichrist etc...

Faith is simply defined as believing in the Truth. Everything exists 
according to situation or perishes over time nothing is forever other 
than the Word of God and God Himself. The Word of God is eternal, till 
time exist God's Word is unchangeable like God Himself. Therefore faith 
simply means believing in God and His Word. God and His Word do not 
contradict each other therefore one reveals the other. Man cannot see 
God but His Word is given unto us and through the Word we can see / know 
God. So Faith directly or indirectly stands on believing the Word of God.

There is deference between hope, trust, belief and faith. The others can 
be rooted on something not defined or something changeable, the others 
are steps that lead to faith which comes once the person knows and 
understands the Word of God.

What is interesting is faith is just a step in our journey of faith in 
God. This journey starts with hope and ends with authority. Faith is all 
about knowing the Power of God but authority is about having the Power 
of God. Faith comes when we know God but authority is when we become 
like God (His Sons), when His image is manifested in us.

We as Christians are saved when we hope in the salvation through Jesus 
(Gospel) and start to believe in it which is faith, through faith we 
receive grace. Thus Bible says we are saved by grace through our faith 
in the Lord Jesus Christ. But it also says only those who are led by the 
Spirit becomes Sons of God and it is only those who become Sons go to 
Heaven. That is why the Word of God says Jesus Christ came to give power 
unto those who believe in Him to become Sons of God.

Let us not be deceived to think unbelievers have faith and secondly let 
us not also be fooled to stop at faith and say all is well. Let us 
understand we need to not just have faith but have authority by 
exercising our faith regularly.

Lord You alone are eternal and only in You and through can any being 
live eternally. Lord, even though by sinning man chose death by 
distancing himself from You yet Lord You gave us your Word so that 
through your Word we can come back to You and have eternal life. Lord we 
pray man realizes the value and power on your Word and start to have 
faith and we also pray that they do not just stay at having faith but 
have authority and become Sons...

28Then she said, Did I ask a son from my lord? did I not say, Do not 
deceive me?

There is no place for fools in God's Kingdom

Psalms 107:43 - Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even 
they shall understand [consider diligently] the lovingkindness [mercy] 
of the LORD.

There are many who are deceived to think that the Word of God is simple 
and one does not need to go deep into scriptures to study it. These are 
the people who live a beggar's life even though they own a property that 
has immense treasure buried within it.

Today's message talks of the mercy of God and it says those who have 
wisdom and observe the Laws of God will see His mercy. It talks of two 
things wisdom and dedication (desire with persistence) to receive in 
fullness the mercy of God.

Word of God says even when we did not know God He had mercy on us, but 
to receive this mercy in its fullness (grace) God gave us His Spirit 
(Spirit of Truth / Wisdom) through the sacrifice of His Son. It is only 
through the Spirit of God (Spirit of Truth) that we have come to 
understand the value of the Word of God and importance of keeping it and 
as we keep it we see spiritual growth within us. We receive more wisdom 
which allows us to understand more, implement more of God's Will in our 
lives and thus grow more. This growth will one day mature us from 
children of God and make us Sons of God. That is why scripture says 
those who are led by the Spirit of God will become Sons of God.

Understand Heaven is a place for Sons of God and not children. When 
Jesus said one needs to be like a child to enter the Kingdom of God He 
spoke of being innocent and not about being childish. Very precious 
things are not given to children but given unto mature sons only.

Wisdom is very essential aspect of being Christian; Christ Himself with 
the help of the Holy Spirit grew in wisdom as a small child. The wisdom 
that God warns us of is the wisdom of this world which is based on the 
knowledge of this world. Bible says Satan is the ruler and inductor of 
the knowledge and understanding of this world like God is the ruler and 
inductor of the knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of God.

Satan likes to distort the Truth so that we neither know God nor have 
wisdom of His Kingdom. Satan knows if we come to know the Truth he would 
be totally defeated and his end will come.

Let us not become victims of Satan and be consumed by his tricks. Let us 
pursue the knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of God so that we 
grow in the Lord and be blessed in Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, this world is deceived and full of yeast they do not know the 
value and power of Truth. The deceiver has put the yoke of untruth on 
their neck and put the bonds of foolishness on them. They do not know 
who they are because they do not know You. Lord, we prayer that your 
people be filled with wisdom and understanding of your Kingdom and 
become overcomers...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

SRCSU to prayer

Isaiah 41:1 - Keep silence before me, O isles; and let the people renew 
their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come 
near together to judgment [cause].

If we read the scriptures that follow today's message we see the Lord is 
opening their minds to all that He had done, things that they did not 
see or know. It is after He opens their mind to understand they set 
things right and firm.

We pray because we do not receive even though God has said He has 
supplied all our needs. We pray because have problems in our lives even 
though God says He is out protector, our Shepherd. We pray because we 
get sick even though the Lord says He is our Healer and life comes from 
Him. Ultimately if we understand prayer is not about getting something 
from God but it about getting ourselves into a position wherein to 
receive what God has already given, or provided.

In today's message God gives us some simple tips on how to set ourselves 
to successful prayer -- I have put it in the acronymSRCSU.

keep Silent

be Renewed

Come near

Speak

Understand

The Lord is telling us if we just blabber our problems, our needs when 
we pray our prayer will not be fruitful. We need to know before whim we 
are coming therefore first need to keep silent. We need to silent our 
hearts, our thoughts, our anxiety, etc. It is only when we silence 
ourselves we will be renewed in strength and it is only after we are 
renewed in strength we will be able to come near Him. It is only after 
we come near Him we should speak.

Imagine we are going to the palace of the King to put forth our 
grievance; will we start to shout our grievance at the entrance of the 
palace gate? That is what people do when they pray they start with 
putting their problems even before they have acknowledged before whom 
they are putting their problems, even before they have drawn themselves 
near to Him.

When we come to the door of the King's palace we wait at the door and 
recheck are we dressed properly, we look well and the way is clear for 
us. It is only after we walk near to the throne that we will start to 
put forth our problems, our grievances.

Our God is King of Kings. He is not human to make mistakes nor lacks 
wisdom or foresight. He knows all, is omnipresent and omnipotent. Thus 
our putting forward our grievance is not for the reason that He sorts 
them but is more for the reason that we know how He has already sorted 
it so that we remove the hindrances we had put which stopped us from 
receiving.

About all this there is one thing that the Lord tells us as most 
important towards our prayer getting answered and that is we need to 
approach Him as an Island. An island is a small piece of land surrounded 
by water on all sides.

Before we sit to pray we need to first acknowledge that we are nothing; 
that is why we see scriptures where Men of God have called himself as 
tiny worm or dust of the earth before God. We need to not just humble 
ourselves but we need to offload our burden at the gate so that we get 
the burden sorted out when we are before the King. Remember it will be 
very difficult to enter the palace gate while holding on to our burdens. 
Even though our burdens are the purpose of our coming before our King 
yet we need to disconnect from then before we come to our Kings. This is 
where praise, worship and thanksgiving comes very handy.

When we praise, worship and gives thanksgiving to the Lord it enables us 
to forget our burdens for that short time and thus helps us enter the 
gates of the King's palace.

Let us not forget this secret that the Lord has given us everything we 
sit for prayer. If we want to have successful prayer, prayers that are 
powerful and effective let us follow these steps and not be foolish of 
running into blabbering our problems to God.

Lord, we praise and worship You for You alone are Almighty God. Lord, 
You love us and tiem and again have tried to give us precious gems of 
your Kingdom. We thank You Lord for today's gem on how to pray. Lord, 
there are many times we start our prayer with just blabbering our 
problems to You, we forget before whom we come and forget the respect 
and sanity of the place we enter when we pray. Lord help us remember 
these steps that You have given us every time we sit to pray...

It is now our turn to say IT IS FINISHED

Luke 24:13 - And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village 
called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about sixty furlongs.

To give you an idea a furlong is about 185meters so the distance spoken 
here is about 11,100meters about 11kms. This trip towards Galilee was 
not a casual trip but a planned trip, Jesus told His disciples about 
this even before His death. We also read when the women went to the tomb 
to attend to the body of Jesus they were told by the Angel that He had 
risen and was on His way to Galilee.

We need to note Jesus after his resurrection showed His ability to pass 
through walls and just appear at different places without physically 
travelling to that place, so why did He go on this long walk and mainly 
why did He plan it before His death?

One reason was Jesus chose to meet His disciples at Galilee for it was 
the place He had appointed them and secondly Jesus even after His 
resurrection had to complete some of the sacrifices for the salvation of 
man. Resurrection was breaking of the curse of Hell which was on man. 
After breaking that curse Jesus did continue to perform other 
sacrifices, one of them was the forgiveness of the sins of Priests 
wherein the Priests laid their hands on the sacrificial animal and the 
animal was sent into the wilderness, other than that was the final 
sacrifice was wherein the blood was offered to the Throne. That is why 
Jesus after His resurrection did not Mary the Magdalene to touch Him 
because He had not risen to the Father, but later that evening allowed 
His disciples to touch Him. All the sacrifices ended when Jesus ascended 
to Heaven that (Sunday) evening to offer His blood to the Throne of God 
in Heaven.

In today's message the Lord is telling us 2 things.

Firstly He is telling us He brings us from a place and teaches us about 
Him and His Kingdom and when it comes to do His mission He desires we 
start from the place He appointed us from.

We see many preachers have this crazy to go to a foreign country to 
preach especially to the rich countries. The people of these countries 
are like cows for them to milk their finances needed for their 
ministries or personal wants. These preachers preach about God but do 
not trust Him fully. They think God always gives through his people thus 
they go directly to the people. They need to understand Manna never fell 
in the towns and cities but only in the wilderness. If they wanted God 
to give in a supernatural way they need to be in the wilderness, the 
place of least expectation of provision.

Secondly Jesus said 'it is finished' on the Cross the Greek word 'teleo' 
means 'fulfilled' and Jesus fulfilled His part of dying on the Cross for 
us. If you see the word 'finished' is used with Jesus many a times 
according to the various stages of His mission. Like it is used after He 
finished preaching to the common people wherein He spoke in parables. It 
is used after He completed His teaching His disciples all that they 
needed to know on the Mount of Olives and also after He finished His 
teaching to His core disciples - the Apostles.

The Lord is saying now it is our turn to say 'it is finished' when we 
fulfil the purpose of God in our lives and again when we fulfil God plan 
in this world that is when His Kingdom comes in glory here on earth.

Let us fulfil the Word of God like our Lord Jesus Christ did.

Father God, let our lives be like the life of Jesus Christ. We pray that 
we become instruments to fulfil your plans in our own lives and in the 
lives of your people. Lord let us come to that stage that we open our 
mouths and say 'IT IS FINISHED' before we close our eyes to sleep in You...

beyond Jordan;

sayings, he said to his disciples,

which you gave me to do.
