Law of God our Schoolmaster

Galatians 3:24 - Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto
Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

We always hear preachers preaching against the law, they always claim of
us being set free from the law. Does being a Christian mean lawlessness?
Did Christ come to bring lawlessness (no law)?

Today's message Paul who wrote Romans says that law became our tutor,
thus Paul does give importance to law. Did Paul change his mind in his
letter to Galatians unlike in his letter to the Romans? To understand
this we need to get into the words used by Paul and not go by just the
English translations.

The Greek word translated as law means 'something established&# 39;. We have
different laws some like the law of the land, like that of a country
which is formed or established by the people governing the country. Then
there is the law of nature which is a property or nature of the things
made by God. Then there are religious laws which people have made by
their traditions.

If people did not have law in a country then the country would not be
able to function. Similarly if nature did not have laws like gravity or
inertia or magnetism then this world would not have survived this long,
all things would have moved in various directions and would have ceased
to be what it is today and no life would have existed. We see law causes
a balance of things and helps sustain life and things for the good.

But then when we come to religious laws they are the opposite. Religious
laws may seem good but become a yoke to the people, causing guilt and
becoming a burden to the lives of those under it. Although it states to
be of God but instead causes people to not know God and do the opposite
of what God desires. It makes them salves of God and not sons of God.

If we look at religious laws which are formed by traditions of people it
has opposite results compared to the other laws we saw. Paul states in
his letter that it is this law (Law of Moses which the Jews followed)
that leads to death. Because people void of the knowledge of God and
understanding of the Word that came from God made up their own laws
based on their own understanding. Since these laws goes against that
which is established by God and we know God is life thus anything
opposing God means death.

Law is good if it is of God but any law that goes contrary to God means
death. In today's message Paul says if it was not for the Law we could
not have had faith and we know without faith we would not have received
the grace that came through Jesus Christ. For without faith we could not
have had grace thus grace does not against the Law but came because of
the Law. Since by faith we believed in what was established by God that
is by the Word of God we come to know and believe in Jesus Christ and it
is by this believe that we receive the grace of God.

Yes there is something that grace does to the Law and that is helps us
to overcome the consequences of the Law. Law is Yes and No, Right or
Wrong but the grace that comes by our believe in the Law takes us from
the Wrong to the Right, from the No to the Yes in God and this happens
by our faith in Jesus Christ and by the working of the Lord (Holy
Spirit) in us. It is the grace from our faith in Christ that frees us
from Hell and it is the grace from the working of the Holy Spirit that
helps us overcome the sin nature of Adam in us and grafts us to the
nature of Christ. Thus we see the Law of God becomes our tutor and
brings us out of the consequence of the Law.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord your Word is life and your Law is the pathway to life. Lord it is
the grace that comes from our faith in Jesus Christ that keeps us on
this pathway and prevents us from falling off the pathway of life. Lord
we pray we learn to love your Law and set it always before our eyes...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Galatians 3:22-26

22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by
faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the
faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that
we might be justified by faith.

25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:5-11

5 But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good
conscience and faith unfeigned:

6from which things some having swerved have turned aside unto vain talking;

7desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what
they say, nor whereof they confidently affirm.

8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully,

9as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the
lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and
profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

10for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers,
for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary
to the sound doctrine;

11according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was
committed to my trust.

Romans 7:5-14,21-25

5For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through
the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that
wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not
in oldness of the letter.

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not
known sin, except through the law: for I had not known coveting, except
the law had said, Thou shalt not covet:

8but sin, finding occasion, wrought in me through the commandment all
manner of coveting: for apart from the law sin is dead.

9And I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came,
sin revived, and I died;

10and the commandment, which was unto life, this I found to be unto death:

11for sin, finding occasion, through the commandment beguiled me, and
through it slew me.

12So that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and
good.

13Did then that which is good become death unto me? God forbid. But sin,
that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that
which is good; -that through the commandment sin might become exceeding
sinful.

14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

21I find then the law, that, to me who would do good, evil is present.

22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my
mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my
members.

24Wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this
death?

25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I of myself with
the mind, indeed, serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:2 - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me
free from the law of sin and of death.

Will Jesus come again? When?

2 Peter 3:1,2 - This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in
both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may
be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets,
and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Like Paul wrote a second letter to the Thessalonians clearing their
doubt about the second coming of Jesus Christ, we see here Peter too
writes a second letter just to clarify about the events leading to the
end days and the coming of Jesus Christ.

Before, when I just came in the Lord I would hear preachings of great
preachers on channels like God TV and other Christian channels and they
would give great disclosures on how the end would come and how it was on
hand, this I heard many years back and still these people are walking
around looking up in the sky waiting for Jesus to appear.

But when I studied the scriptures in its totally (all scriptures are
connected to each other) and when the Lord started revealing then to me
I was surprise things are not like what people have been saying. From
the beginning God has been very clear of how and when the end will come.
When I say when the end will come it does not mean the exact date (day
and year) is given. The Bible gives an approximate period and goes to
the extent to also give when in the year (one may be surprised at this -
this is the first time I am sharing this - will explain).

People have been since many years shouting from roof tops that the end
is at hand and making a mockery of scripture due their lack of
understanding. Bible has been considered a joke by many unbelievers
because of the dumb people who keep proclaiming tomorrow the world will
end, and that 'tomorrow&# 39; does not come.

There are clear clues in the Bible about the end time and like every
main prophecy this too is backed with more than 2 confirmations (God
follows His principles from the mouth of 3 a truth is established) . But
the time does not give the exact date (hour) but gives the season /
period (day).

Jesus was God who humbled Himself and came as man and as man He was 100
percent man void of God powers therefore as man He himself studied the
scriptures and thus did not know the day and hour, but He did know the
day (period) that is why He did attempt to answer when the question of
the end of the world was put to Him.

One should know every scripture unless fulfilled the end will not come.
We should in no way look at just one scripture and see it happening
therefore conclude that the end is at hand.

The Lord has given us this message today because like the Israelites
have been celebrating since the time of Moses the birth of Jesus Christ
by the Feast of the Tabernacle they also have been celebrating the
second coming of Jesus Christ by the Feast of the Trumpet.

The Lord does tell us when the second coming of Jesus Christ would be by
the feast but does not tell us the exact year He would come, to know
that we need to confirm the fulfilment of prophecies.

Paul writes to the Thessalonians stating that they are children of light
and not of darkness and that the end would not take them like a thief.
When Jesus said the end would come as a thief in the night it was to
those who were void of the knowledge and understanding of the Word of
God and are in darkness. For those who dwell in the day the thief does
not come suddenly.

Looking at world events people are shouting that the end is near, but
let me tell you at least for this and another generation the end is not
at hand. Let us not be people walking around looking up waiting for
Jesus to come. Let us more concentrate on fulfilling the Word so that
the end does not delay. Jesus said unless the Gospel is not preached to
every soul (sheep / child of God) the end will not come and this is
again confirmed in Peter's letter that God desires that none of His
people perish. Since we do not know who is a child of God and who isn't
we preach to every soul on earth, if that person is a child of God then
the seed of faith in him or her will bear fruit when the Gospel is heard.

Let us celebrate the Feast of Trumpet the day of the second coming of
the Lord when He comes with His army of Angels and a shout of an Archangel.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, people are making a fool of themselves about your coming again to
judge the world all because they are void of the understanding of
scriptures. Soon we will be celebrating the day of You coming again not
know the year but yet not in darkness for your Word prepares us for it.
Lord we pray your people walk in light with understanding and not
foolish people groping around in the darkness...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

2 Peter 3:3-10

3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,

4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers
fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the
creation.

5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the
heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the
water:

6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept
in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition
of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with
the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the
which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-5

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I
write unto you.

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a
thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake
you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are
not of the night, nor of darkness.

Luke 12:39-40

39And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour
the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his
house to be broken through.

40Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when
ye think not.

Matthew 24:4-14

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you
astray.

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead
many astray.

6And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not
troubled: for these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and
there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.

8But all these things are the beginning of travail.

9Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.

10And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and
shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.

12And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall
wax cold.

13But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world
for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

Know the Lord and His Word is life
1 John 1:1-3

1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have
seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have
handled, of the Word of life;

2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness,
and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was
manifested unto us;)

3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may
have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father,
and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Yesterday as I was discussing with my office staff member, in between
our discussion she asked me how I manage to convert people. She even
went on to ask me if I have some power which I cast on them.

I told her all that I do, is make people think and nothing else. I make
them to open their eyes and see what they belief in and where it is
going to lead them.

This lady has been evading me since long to talk about life and about
God. I have been waiting patiently for the right moment to bring her
from darkness to light. She is a Hindu and as a Hindu she pursues death
and not life. A Hindu thinks life is a Cakra (ring/circle) one is born
and when one dies according to their deeds (Karma) they are born again
in various life forms. Like we Christians pursue salvation which is
eternal life with God, they pursue Mukti which is freedom from the
Cakra, meaning freedom from being born again - in other words they want
to die and not be born again - in other words they pursue eternal death.

In today's message we read among other characteristics of God, one of
them is that God is life. When we pursue life we automatically are
pursuing God. If we are not pursuing God then we are not pursuing life,
for from God comes life and He alone sustains all life.

Another very important thing John states is the only way to life is
through the Word of God, he goes to the extent of calling it the Word of
Life. We also see the Angels use the same term for the Word of God in
the book of Acts.

In today's message John tried to recreate the first lines of his Gospel
in a simpler way. To understand the basics of the Lord Jesus Christ we
need to just understand these 3 lines of today's message.

God is telling us in today's message we cannot disassociate God and His
Word, for God is life and His Word is life so to have life we need to
have God and to have God we need to have His Word, thus any person not
pursuing God's Word is not pursuing God and therefore not pursuing life,
he or she instead is pursuing death.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, many people pursue You but do not desire to keep your Word. They
think they can reach You without your Word. They do not understand You
and your Word are one and without your Word none can come to You or
receive eternal life. Lord, we pray people are founded not on deceit but
on the Truth which is your Word...

This prayer we make in Jesus's Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Acts 5:19-20

19But an angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought
them out, and said,

20Go ye, and stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words
of this Life.

John 1:1-14

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made
that was made.

4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men
through him might believe.

8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the
world.

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew
him not.

11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God.

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace
and truth.

Men of God cover your nakedness

Ezekiel 37:8 - And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up
upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Continuing with yesterday' s message we read about the vision of Ezekiel
wherein he is been commanded by the Lord to speak to the bones to come
to life. If we look carefully as Ezekiel obeys the Lord even before the
flesh comes in the bones we read the Lord put sinews on the bones. The
Hebrew word translated as sinews means small undergarments used to cover
the nakedness of man.

When God instructed Moses to make a ramp to access the altar of the
Tabernacle, He clearly instructed them not to make it as steps but as a
slope, the reason being the nakedness of the priests is seen.

Was it really God who did not want to see their nakedness? When Adam and
Eve covered themselves after they sinned did they really cover their
nakedness from God? We see later God Himself killed animals and covered
them with the skin of that sacrifice [for they ate these animals for the
first time before that they were pure vegetarians] .

God is Spirit and He can see even the thoughts of man, even before man
thinks them, nothing is hidden from Him. Adam and Eve were hiding their
nakedness not from God but from each other and from their own selves.

We all are naked inside and no man can say he or she is not, God knows
us as we are, for He even knows the count of ever hair on us. When God
says nakedness it does not mean just the physical body but emphasizes
more on the carnal nakedness of man.

A sinful man is a carnal being, a being full of desires that are worldly
and foolish. The flesh is just a means for him to gratify these
desires.A Man of God is a man who walks in Truth and not in foolishness;
he is a person who overcomes the vanity of foolish carnal desires. It is
not that a Man of God is free totally of carnal desires. Men of God too
get these desires but he has control on them for the Truth is in him.

Yesterday the message was for the leaders of the Church and today the
Lord is telling them to cover their nakedness. God is telling them that
people are able to see their carnal desires, their nakedness. Adam and
Eve tried to cover their nakedness with leaves and twigs but God showed
them how to cover their nakedness. He killed an animal - made a
sacrifice and with the skin of the sacrifice covered them.

We cannot overcome our nakedness by any other way but by covering
ourselves with the righteousness of the perfect sacrifice - the Lord
Jesus Christ. Unless we do not make the Lord's ways as our ways we will
never be able to overcome our nakedness. That is why we need to imitate
the Lord everyday of our lives and since we do not know God, Jesus as
man became His face for us, so let us imitate Jesus in our lives. Jesus
was naked on the cross but his nakedness was covered by His
righteousness. It covered not only Him but now also covers us all who
walk in His ways.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, your Word says the early Christians were called People of The Way
because they lived their lives unlike others of this world. During those
times your Church grew because You were pleased with them and thus added
people unto them. Today Lord, people are compromising your ways with the
ways of the world. They give excuses of reaching out to the lost but are
bringing people by manipulations and not by getting them to repent and
be born again. Lord, we pray a revival amongst the leaders first. We
pray they relearn your Kingdom your way and not in the ways the worldly
man has taught them. That they cover their nakedness by your
righteousness. ..

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Ezekiel 37:5-12

5Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath
to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and
cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye
shall know that I am the LORD.

7So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a
noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and
the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and
say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O
breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and
they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of
Israel [Princes of God / Sons of God]: behold, they say, Our bones are
dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold,
O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of
your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel [Heaven].

Exodus 20:26Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy
nakedness be not uncovered thereon.

Genesis 2:25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not
ashamed.

Genesis 3:6-11, 21

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was
a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one
wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto
her husband with her, and he did eat.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were
naked; and they sewed fig-leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in the
cool of the day: and the man and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of Jehovah God amongst the trees of the garden.

9And Jehovah God called unto the man, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid,
because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of
the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

21And Jehovah God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and
clothed them.

Do you have the courage to speak against God's people like Hosea did?

Hosea 1:1 - The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri,
in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and
in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

Hosea is known as first among the 12 lesser Prophets not because he and
the 11 others had lesser anointing or power in God but because of the
volume of their prophecies. There was a period wherein all the twelve
books of the 'lesser Prophets' were bond as 1 book.

The name Hosea is the same with Joshua and Jesus and signifies a
saviour. He along with Joel and Amos were before Isaiah and the period
given is about 800BC.

Hosea was used by the Lord to reprove His people for the idolatry and
stubbornness against God. God warned the people about what He was going
to do with them before He actually went ahead with it. He may have done
little but he is honoured by God.

This message for today is very appropriate. We need to understand God is
a very patient God. He tolerates a lot the wrong of the people who do
not know Him, but has set limits. As the limits are broken, He takes
action against them. But with His people the limits are different from
those who do not know Him. We see as the glory of God was more on His
people the limits became lesser.

Volcanologist will be able to tell when the volcano will erupt by the
vibrations felt. He will never be 100 percent sure of the exact time of
eruption until it happens but his predictions cannot be ignore for they
are very likely to be accurate. On the surface ordinary people would be
totally ignorant of what is going to happen. They may feel all is well
until it does happen.

The Lord is given us this message because this is the state of the
Church. We may think all is well and good things are happening, Church
is growing, Gospel is getting preached to more and more people. I may
not know the state of the Churches in other countries but here in India
even though the message of Christ is getting preached to more and more
people, even in remote places but yet the state is very, very bad. It is
like a structure made of playing cards, one blow and the whole structure
can come down, crashing to the ground.

The problem is not with the people but more with the leaders of the
Church. The spiritual state of the leaders is very seriously bad. Many
preach the Gospel of grace but in their lives they think the grace is a
licence for them living a life of carnal desires. They are playing with
the lives of little ones like they do not mean anything. They treat them
like fowl that are consumed by the hunger of their desires.

Most Church leaders are more interested in running a Church than making
people into Christians -Disciples of Christ led by the Spirit of God.

Many are doing wrong but then many more, which are aware of their
brethren doing wrong, are keeping silent for their own vested interest.
They cannot dare to speak against a person who is called as a
representative of God even though he or she is abusing and
misrepresenting the Name of God. They think it is taboo to speak against
a man of God or a pastor, what if someone speaks against them? They do
not realize during the times of Hosea, Jeremiah, Elijah and others there
were Prophets of God who misled people due to their foolishness or due
to their vested interests. God had to bring sense into them by sending
someone.

During the time of Moses when God got angry against His people He sent
fury serpents to kill them but He made available them a bronze serpent
put on a pole (symbolizing Jesus who was cursed on a cross for us) such
that when they looked up on it they were saved from the serpents. But
when these people started to fornicate with the daughters of Moab
(meaning 'of his father') then the anger of God again fell on His people
and a plague started to consume them. Moab symbolizes the nature of Adam
and 'daughters of Moab' symbolizes people weak in the nature of Adam.
Even though the Israelites had the bronze serpent with them at this
point of time yet we see they were consumed by the wrath of God.

The sacrifice of Jesus cannot be taken for granted. The sacrifice of
Jesus pays for our sins when we come to God but when we come to know God
and yet knowingly sin then this sacrifice cannot be used as a payment
for our sins.

God understands weakness but when a person stubbornly and knowingly goes
against Him then He crushes them in such a way that they are made a
testimony forever.

People may say they are not among those who fornicate with the daughters
of Moab but by just keeping silent and not doing anything will cause
them too to be consumed by the plague. They need to be like Phinehas,
the son of Eleazar who separated from those fornicating and then took a
spear and acted on behalf of God. He did not kill or take action against
everyone that fornicate with the daughters of Moab but the one before
him, he did. This pleased God and caused the plague to stop. It did not
save only those who were innocent of the deed but also those whose who
were guilty for they got an opportunity to repent later.

Today we need people like Hosea and Phinehas who have the courage to
come out and speak up for God and take action against those who are
destroying the harvest of God. We may need to make example of even one
person by this we will save all the others.

This problem is not only in India but even in other countries where
famous preachers who themselves are not spiritually mature (not of age
and grown in discernment) but by their operating under gifts are taking
masses for a ride. They are becoming wolves to their own flock; the very
flock they are to protect they are consuming.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we cry out for your people. They are being consumed by the very
people You have sent to protect and nurture. Lord, we need people like
Hosea and Phinehas, people of courage and valour, people who are willing
to stick out their neck and do something drastic just to save your
people from your wrath. Save your sheep from the shepherds who have
turned into wolves...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Numbers 14:11-12

11And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and
how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have
wrought among them?

12I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will
make of thee a nation greater and mightier than they.

Numbers 21:6-9

6And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the
people; and much people of Israel died.

7And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have
spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he
take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8And Jehovah said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon
a standard: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten,
when he seeth it, shall live.

9And Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it upon the standard: and it
came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked unto
the serpent of brass, he lived.

Numbers 25:1-13

1And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom
with the daughters of Moab.

2And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the
people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

3And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was
kindled against Israel.

4And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and
hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of
the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

5And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men
that were joined unto Baalpeor.

6And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his
brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of
all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before
the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw
it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

8And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of
them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the
plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

9And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

10And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

11Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned
my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my
sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

12Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:

13And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an
everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an
atonement for the children of Israel.

Do all worship the child born?
Matthew 2:8 - And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search
diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me
word again, that I may come and worship him also.

I had put in my previous post about the Birth of Jesus Christ being in
September and this was celebrated by the shadow feast the Lord had asked
us to celebrate so as to understand and honour the Lord for what He had
done by coming as man.

All the feasts the Israelites celebrated were shadows of things
connected with Jesus Christ. The feast that shadows the coming of Jesus
Christ as man is the Feast of the Tabernacle also called the Feast of
Booths / Tents. It is a feast that is celebrated over a period of a
week. This year it is celebrated from 19th September to 25th September.
During this feast people leave their houses and dwell in tents with
their families for the Lord came as man and dwelled in a temporary body
of flesh as a man.

I knew some years back with confirmations that ChristMass was not to do
with the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ but had no idea of the actual
date. It was only after a period the Lord confirmed this through the
understanding of scriptures. This year the Lord desires we start to
celebrate the Lord's coming as man so that the Jews also know the Truth.
This feast is a grand event for them but they are ignorant of what they
are celebrating. Then there are the Catholics who celebrate a pagan
feast [the birth of the Sun god] as the Lord's Birthdate and the blind
people of this world join them justifying their ignorance.

In today's message we see Herod also stated a desire to worship / honour
the great child King. But his real intentions were not to honour the
child Jesus but to do away with Him. This is exactly what Christians do
when they celebrate ChristMass. They give great justification for
celebrating it in the name of Jesus Christ but all they do has nothing
to do with Christ but to gratify their carnal desires of worldly fun,
shopping, partying, merry making, materialistic gratification the very
opposite the Feast of Tents that celebrates the birth of Jesus, stands
against.

The Lord is asking us are we going to be like the magi who went by the
sign given by the Lord and thus truly honoured the infant Jesus, or be
like Herod who went by asking man/signs of man with wrong intentions.
Let us stop being like Herod.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray that the blindfolds that are bond on the eyes of your
people fall. We pray that their eyes open and they come of the deceit.
Lord, through the feast You desire your people learn and understand the
things connected with it. We pray that your sacrifice of humbling and
coming of man be known to man through the celebration of the Feast of
Tents...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Leviticus 2:34-44

34Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this
seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the
LORD.

35On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile
work therein.

36Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on
the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer
an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye
shall do no servile work therein.

37These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt
offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every
thing upon his day:

38Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all
your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto
the LORD.

39Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered
in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven
days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall
be a sabbath.

40And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees,
branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of
the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

41And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It
shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it
in the seventh month.

42Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born
shall dwell in booths:

43That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to
dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the
LORD your God.

44And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

Deuteronomy 16:13-17

13Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that
thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

14And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy
daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the
stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

15Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the
place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless
thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands,
therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

16Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy
God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened
bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and
they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

17Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the
LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

Deuteronomy 31:9-11

9And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of
Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the
elders of Israel.

10And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in
the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

11When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place
which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in
their hearing.

Hosea 12:9And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet
make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

Hosea 2:16And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt
call me Ishi [man]; and shalt call me no more Baali [unknown God].
[People did not know God until Jesus revealed the Father]

John 14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and
from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

The world is getting reshaped
Zephaniah 1:14-16

14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,
even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there
bitterly.

15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of
wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of
clouds and thick darkness,

16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against
the high towers.

The Bible talks of 2 days of the Lord, one is the Day of the Lord's
Judgment and the second is the Day of the Lord's wrath.

The Day of the Lord's Judgment is the Day when Jesus Christ will come
again along with His Angels and with a shout of an Archangel destroys
Satan's army and this is also the end of all this natural creation. All
Believers alive at that time will transform /transfigure and those who
believed in Christ and are dead and asleep (from the time of Noah -
since the first Covenant was made with him) will rise (resurrect) and
all His flock both sheep and goats will stand before Him. Christ will
separate the sheep (those who kept His Father's Word) from the goats
(those who believed in Him but did not keep the Father's Word) and the
goats will receive a greater punishment than even the unbelievers. They
will be put in the Lake of Sulphur (Fire) which unlike Hell (a prison)
where a person suffers for one's own sins, here they suffer not for
their sins but for rejecting Christ even though they knew Him. The sheep
on the other hand become the Bride of the Lord in Heaven, dressed in the
righteousness of the Lord.

Today's message talks of the other Day of the Lord that comes just about
the time of stage 6 of the Church where all the Believer Churches come
together as one Church written as Church of the Brethren. This happens
after the fall of Babylon the Great the false church that has been
deceiving the people as being the representative of Christianity.

Bible states the Lord is slow to anger and over the years the Lord has
been keeping hold of His wrath. The Bible also states just before the
Lord deals with the false church the Lord also deals with the false
shepherds, also known as watchmen who are not performing their duty well.

If one takes a real good look at the leaders of the ministries or
Churches one will be really depressed and will morn bitterly. Many of
the church leaders themselves have overcome the Lord. We are called to
overcome our sinful nature but these people in their false outward
righteousness have internally overcome the Lord and the Bible says there
is no hope for those who overcome the Lord. On their mission to give the
Gospel of grace they have modified the grace and made it a license to
sin or to entertain their fleshy carnal desires.

God is reminding us today that God is not dead nor is He gone to sleep.
He is also reminding us that nothing is hidden from Him, He is not man
to be impressed with external expression. He is God, He is omnipresent
and He can see the hidden, He knows the thoughts and intensions of man.
He has been quiet and tolerating since long, that does not mean He will
not acts. He has been building His wrath and time is at hand He is going
to pour it on man because He has been pouring more and more of His grace
but they have been taken for granted and have been misused. It is not
that He expects us to be perfect, if that was possible we would not need
His grace. He understands our weakness and therefore is patient, but
there are some things which He considers as holy and comprise in those
things is not what He does or expects from us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are a Holy God. You alone are Holy and no man is worthy to
call himself holy, however good they be. You are God of all grace and as
You give us more and more grace You expect more of us expecting us to
live a life more pleasing to You. Lord, we pray we do not abuse the
grace You have been pouring more of in these times. Help us to be
sensitive to your Spirit and overcome our carnal nature and not to
overcome You. What excuse would we have after seeing your light to yet
turn to darkness...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Zephaniah 1:14-18

14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,
even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there
bitterly.

15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of
wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of
clouds and thick darkness,

16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against
the high towers.

17And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind
men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be
poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

18Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in
the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the
fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all
them that dwell in the land.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep.

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be
with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54

51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed,

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.

53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must
put on immortality.

54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the
saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Post  Admin Tue 03 Sep 2013, 1:26 pm

The Star of Bethlehem

Matthew 2:7 - Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men,
enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

The birth of Jesus Christ is one of the greatest times for all mankind
(time is based on it BC & AD). It was awaited since ages and lots of
scriptures gave clues to the time about when He would be born. God did
not try to do it secretly but on the contrary announced a great sign in
the sky indicating the birth of the child.

In the New Testament we do not read of Jesus's birth being celebrated,
but yet they did if one understands how the birth of Jesus was
celebrated since the time of Moses and the Apostles and early disciples
celebrated the Jewish festivals.

Since many years mankind has been deceived to celebrate a pagan festival
in the name of Jesus. One measuring tool to know how greatly man has
been deceived is by seeing how the world is deceived not to celebrate
Jesus' birth but to celebrate a pagan festival; deceit has so great
blinded the eyes and minds of people that even though they add the word
Christ to a pagan ceremony called Mass yet they think it is okay and
celebrate it.

When I speak to people on it they state 2 things

1) Since we do not know the exact day we can celebrate the birth of
Christ any day

2) As far as we are celebrating Christ's birth it does not matter what
we call it

Let me tell you both these are lies and misconception of people.

1) The exact date of Jesus' birth according the Jewish calendar is given
in the Bible.

2) Secondly it is a commandment of God that this day be celebrated as a
feast since it important date to the building of the Church. It was one
of the 3 feasts told by the Lord to must celebrate since all of them
were shadows to things connected to Christ like the Passover (death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ) and Pentecost (Feast of Harvest - when the
Holy Spirit was given to the Congregation) .

3) There are confirmations through scriptures as well as scientifically
to prove the date of Christ's birth.

Let me give an example of the deceit. People think Jesus was born in a
stable and make a cradle in a place where there are sheep, cows, bulls
etc. All this comes from traditions made by the Catholic Church and not
from the Gospels which are records of the event.

Luke gives a clear record of the event and if one reads without
presumptions one will see the facts clearly.

Luke 2:6-7

6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished
that she should be delivered.

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling
clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in
the inn.

It states Mary had a proper delivery after completing the full nine
months period. It says she brought forth the child and wrapped him in
swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger. It also says where, while
they were waiting for a room in the inn.

There are two things that confirm the location, one the manger which was
a wooden box for feeding the donkeys or mules on which the people travel
kept outside the inn. It says there was no room in THE INN. It speaks
about the inn they were waiting outside. It does not say they searched
all the inns in the whole town, nor does it say they went to all the
houses and none would take them. It happened immediately while they were
waiting for a room, very simple no complications.

Mary delivered the child while she and her husband to be (Luke 2:5 says
espoused wife - yet to be wife) since according to the Jews Law (and the
Bible) marriage commences when the man and woman come together and Mary
and Joseph did so only after Jesus was born as written in Matthew 1:25.

Jesus was born in a parking area, in the open sky, outside the inn and
was placed in a wooden box meant for feeding the donkeys and mules
stationed outside the inn.

Coming to the date of Jesus' birth, there are many facts that confirm
it, like it was not in December since the shepherds had taken their
flock out to the meadows for gazing in the night. During this time it is
very cold such that they never do it.

Secondly as given in today's message it says there was a sign in the sky
at the time of birth. If one has knowledge of astronomy in today's date
scientist have mapped all the celestial objects and their moving paths.
There are software by which one can give a date and find what was the
position of the stars in the sky from a given place on earth. By this
one had confirmed what is written is true. Only thing is the moving
object in the sky was not a star but a planet, since stars do not move.
Secondly at that time there was a unique formation in the sky and this
is also written in Revelation 12:1. It was to do with unique position of
the Sun, Moon, the planet Jupiter also called King (the star that moved)
and other stars. It happened over a long period, since the wise men
(numbers not written as 3) came for a very far of place (some state as
Asia). It was on about December 25 that they met the child when the
infant (not just born child) had moved to a room/house (Matthew 2:11) in
the town where they gave their precious gifts a symbolic offering meant
for a great King.

So if Jesus was not born in December, when was He born?

This we know from scriptures and also the star formation. It was in the
month of September that Jesus was born (that is why we got this message
today as a reminder). To know the exact date study the feasts that the
Lord asked to be celebrated and we see the Feast of the Tabernacle falls
in this month. Trace the sign in the sky and it too come on that date.
We also have another clue by tracking the birth of John the Baptist to
that of Jesus for details are given which leads to dates.

We are commanded by the Lord to celebrate the great day of the birth of
the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Corner Stone of the Tabernacle of which
we are a part of. Since long we have been deceived not to celebrate
Christ's birth, but it is high time we stop celebrating the pagan High
Mass which was an idea of the early Roman Church to stop the early Roman
Christians from celebrating the pagan Roman feast of birth of the Sun
god which falls on December 25th. It was somewhere in the 8th century
that someone bought a statue of an infant and claimed that this day be
celebrated as the birth of Jesus Christ the real Sun (Son). Then started
the process of blind people following another blind person and thus the
world was filled with blind people.

Let scriptures be the light we follow. Let us truly celebrate the birth
of the King on the day that the Lord has commanded us to that is on the
Feast of the Tabernacle.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the people do things according to their won understanding contrary
to your commandment and then claim for blessings. Then they wonder why
You cause problems to come instead of blessing to fall. And then there
are those who think You are testing them so take pleasure in your wrath.
Lord, we pray for wisdom for your people. We pray that the blindfolds
fall and their eyes open to the vain this they do...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Luke 2:1-11

1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from
Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into
Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he
was of the house and lineage of David:)

5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished
that she should be delivered.

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling
clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in
the inn.

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.

9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the
Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is
Christ the Lord.

Matthew 1;24-25

24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had
bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he
called his name JESUS.

Revelation 12:1 - And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a
crown of twelve stars:

Matthew 2:11 - And when they were come into the house, they saw the
young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and
when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts;
gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Anoined in the flesh

Matthew 19:6 - Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Today in the evening I am to attend a marriage of a close Pastor and it
is amazing we got this message today. In Matthew 19:4-6 Jesus talks of
marriage and to understand it well let us look at marriage as seen by
others.

Hindus consider marriage a spiritual relation; they take 7 rounds around
a fire with the ends of their clothes tied. Hindus believe in
reincarnation and when they get married they desire that the same couple
remain husband and wife in their next life.

Firstly we know man does not reincarnate. When man dies a natural death
even though his spirit lives yet he or she does not come back as another
being. The Bible does speaks of certain persons coming back like Elisha
came as John the Baptist and also of Enoch and of Jesus along with
another person's, but that is not reincarnation. Among them leaving for
Jesus the others (like Elisha and Enoch) did not die, they were lifted
up thus they had to come back to die a natural death. These people were
and will be born naturally like any ordinary person (Enoch is yet to
come and will be one of the two witnesses before the end comes).

In the case of Jesus, even though He was God the Son who humbled Himself
and came as man, He did not incarnate but humbled and took the form of
man He lived a hundred percent human life. He did die a human death but
since there was no sin in Him, He could not be kept in Hell so He
resurrected and now is in Heaven. According to scriptures He will come
back but not born again out of a human like He did but come with His Angels.

To understand marriage we to understand human life and why God created
us in the flesh, even though in spirit we have no male and female gender
and what happens to us in Heaven where we have no male and female gender
but are like the Angels - Sons of God.

In today's message on marriage, we see Jesus emphasises certain points.

1) He first says God created man male and female in the beginning.

When we read Genesis 1:27 it says God created man in His own image,
secondly He created male and female (both in general sense and not as
individuals) and interestingly it says 'created He them'. Here the word
'them' is plural and is in the male gender. This chapter speaks of man -
male and female in spirit being of one gender even though in the natural
they are made differently. The uncorrupted image of God was in man in
the spirit, in both male and female before they sinned.

Genesis 2:7-8,15,20- 24 tells us how God created man in the flesh and how
female was made out of man. It says God used only a bone of man and not
the flesh of man to create the female. Bone symbolizes nature that is
why no bone of Jesus was allowed to be broken. Flesh symbolizes earthly
desires this was allowed to be hurt but not His bones.

So we see even though God made man and female same in spirit yet in the
natural after He made man, out of the nature of man God made female.

2) He says 'for a reason man leaves his father and mother and be joined
to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'.

We see here the term leaves his father and mother does not really mean
leave, since all the Men and Women of God in the Bible did keep their
relationship with their parents even after marriage. As nomadic they
lived in tents so would have lived in separate tents but lived together
as a family along with their other near and far relatives, and their
support teams like their servants and their families.

When God said 'leaves&# 39; it meant the relation of the male and female as
husbands and wife superseded the relationship of a child with its father
and mother. Father and mother are put in our lives as care takers when
we are growing. Marriage is a stage that confirms adulthood and as
adults the caretakers take a back seat and the relationship which Jesus
says 'for a reason' becomes more important.

To understand the reason we need to read the letters of Paul. Paul
compares marriage to a Church - our relationship with Christ. Paul a
bachelor puts the husband as playing the role of Christ and the wife as
the congregation. As Christ loved His people so also a man should love
his wife. And a wife should love and respect her husband as a Church
loves Christ. Yet Paul does not force all to get married. He says those
who have the grace to not marry should not and should concentrate on
doing God's work, which is bringing His people to Him.

This reason of marriage as compared to a Church as given by Paul is just
stage 1 of the real reason which he says a person who has the grace
should concentrate on, that is Christ and His Bride - His people. We
know ultimately Christ came for His Bride and the Church is His Bride.
In Heaven the marriage is not like earthly marriage.

Heaven is a spirit place and the Heavenly marriage means becoming one
with the Son (God the Son) when Christ comes in His glory. The glory He
had before the world was made. The glory He had before He humbled
Himself and came as man.

Marriage is a Believer thing. It is an earthly enactment to understand
the Heavenly marriage of the Lord and His people.

In today's scripture we see Jesus said they are 'joined in the flesh'.
The word used as flesh is the same used for carnal nature. That does not
mean it is an institute to enjoy one's carnal pleasures but like Paul
says those who are weak in the flesh should get married. We see God in
the books of Moses gave a commandment after marriage the honeymoon
should be of one year, where the man does not work but spends all his
time with his wife. Did God want man to be a carnal person enjoying the
lust of the flesh? It was like God saying 'get over it and get on with
life'.

Firstly Marriage is an institute that is connected with the flesh -
carnal desires, not to grow in it but to overcome it. That is why Pauls
says when a husband and wife gets tempted they should come together and
pray after that. The praying is not to help them perform better the next
time but to get them to fight the temptation of the flesh, thus
gradually overcome it completely.

Secondly God made male and female not for sex but for reproduction. That
is why Adam called his wife woman - man with a womb, mother of his
seeds, his generations, that is why the greatest gift of a married
couple is a godly child - child with a great mission, also known as an
elect.

Thirdly and most important Adam and Eve did not have a ceremony when
they called themselves husband and wife but did so when they came
together in relationship as role players of the real wedding which will
happen in Heaven when the Lord's people become one with the Lord.

Let us always remember the purpose we come together and not forget the
roles we are playing. Most of all let not the role playing be greater
than the real thing the 'reason&# 39;, so let Christ and His people becoming
one with Him be above all.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You created the institute of marriage to help man know and
understand the Heavenly thing that are hidden from man. Lord, You also
allowed our coming together during our times of weakness in the
institute of marriage so that we overcome our carnal natures. Lord, the
main reason You designed marriage is to bring souls to You, to be one in
You. Lord, help us understand marriage better and live it better...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 19:3-6

3The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is
it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which
made them at the beginning made them male and female,

5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall
cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God
hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 2:7-8,15,20- 24

7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put
the man whom he had formed.

15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to
dress it and to keep it.

20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to
every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet
for him.

21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
and brought her unto the man.

23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh:
she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Have faith, today God will render double unto you
info Have faith, today God will render double unto you

Zechariah 9:12 - Turn [return] you to the strong hold [fence], ye prisoners
of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;

The scripture preceding today’s message talks of God by the righteousness
(blood) of the Covenant made between Him and us draws us out of the prison
(pit) that has no mercy (water).

Christ as Son of God and Son of Man by His death and resurrection became
the hope for all mankind, anyone who hopes in Him is saved from the prison
Hell which is the only place void of the mercy of God. Even the fallen
angels / evil spirit receive God’s mercy when on earth (this natural
creation); in Hell they know they will not receive any mercy, thus fear.

In today’s message God does not stop there, He challenges us to receive
double of the things we have received of Him, but to receive this we need
to come into His strong hold. The Hebrew word translated as strong hold
means a fenced enclosure that is symbolizes His wings of grace.

I have many a times seen people think grace is very easy and a solution to
all problems and situations. They do not realize they need grace in every
area of their lives. By our faith in Jesus Christ we by default receive the
grace to be saved from Hell. But grace in other areas of our lives needs to
be received. Grace cannot be earned but yet it is not free nor can be taken
for granted. Grace need to be got and it can only be got through faith.

Faith as we know is believing in the Word of God or in God, which are the
only constants that do not change. Believing in anything else is either
called hope, or trust but not faith.

Faith as a gift from God can come for a mission or a period of time but
faith as a fruit that remains needs to be developed, and this happens
through efforts and experiences. Thus grace is not easy as people think.

Paul had abundant grace on his life, even to live a life of a bachelor
overcoming lust and dedicating his whole attention only to his mission in
the Lord. But Paul struggled for grace to overcome the thorn in his life
and God said at 3 occasions that the grace he had received was sufficient
for him. It was only through experiences we see in his last letters he
overcame.

The Lord is telling us indirectly to trust in Him and increase our faith in
Him and thus we will be in His strong hold and thus receive double in our
lives.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we know when we trust in You we are never disappointed for You never
fail. Lord, we need to trust in You in every area of our lives. There are
many areas we lack because do not trust You in those areas. Today, Lord You
have said we will receive double in those areas if we trust in You in those
area so Lord, we pray that we build our faith in those areas and receive
from You...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Zechariah 9:11-12

11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy
prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I
declare that I will render double unto thee;

Romans 4:16 - Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the
end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of
the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the
father of us all,

Romans 5:2 - By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Psalms 85:10 - Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace
have kissed each other.

Whose son is He?

Luke 20:41-44

41And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?

42And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my
Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

43Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

44David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

During the time of Jesus and even today the Jews had/have 2 idols or
people who were put high up almost to the level of God, sometimes above
God. They were Moses and David. The life of a Jew revolves mostly around
these 2 characters Moses as a great Prophet and David as a great king.
The laws of Moses bind the spiritual life of a Jew like the Tefillin (a
strap that they bind their hand with while praying or reading scriptures
based on Deut 6:5-9, instead of binding themselves with the Word of God
they use a strap ) and the star of David which they await and do not
realize was a sign fulfilled in Christ and has come to pass but they
still seek the star (a Christian who holds this flag does not realize is
stating that they star is yet not shown - Christ has yet not come). This
was the Old Church - one of the two women (daughters of the prostitute)
spoken of in the Bible symbolizing a Church.

The second daughter whom the Bible says is worse than the former also
has an idol that they have lifted up above God which is the mother of
Jesus that is Mary.

In the Bible, Jesus in both the genealogies listed by Matthew (which is
of Joseph) and that by Luke (which is of Mary) has a common ancestor
that is David. God had committed a Saviour from the line of David and
legally and actually God fulfilled by choosing a person from the line of
David to bear the child and even the person in whose name the child be
officially listed under be also of the line of David.

Jesus called Himself 'son of man' and was truly the son of David both
through natural lineage (Mary) and also official lineage (Joseph) yet
when it came to people stating Christ was the son of David (common
ancestor) - Jesus denied it and spoke to them the words given to us today.

We need to distinguish Jesus from Christ and from Lord even though they
all 3 refer to the same person. Lord Jesus Christ as Jesus never denied
being the son of David or of Mary but when He as Christ or Lord was
called a son of (descendant of) David, He immediately refuted it. Jesus
as man was the son of Mary and also of David but as Christ or Lord He
was greater than them. He as Lord was their creator and their God and as
Christ was their Saviour.

If Mary is called mother of God then David becomes great, great (many
times) grandfather of God and we see such terms are just blasphemy.

When I was a Catholic and was studying the Bible it was scriptures like
these which opened my eyes to the deceit and blasphemy of this Church
(little horn of Daniel).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, people are deceiving because they lack knowledge and trust the
words of men more than your Word. Their hearts are hard and far from
You. Lord it is only your love and mercy that helped us to come in your
grace and come to know You. Lord, we pray your people who are far from
You do not harden their hearts. That your mercy softens them and they
open their eyes to know You and discern the sayings of man...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Deuteronomy 6:5-9

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your being, and all
your might. These words that I am commanding you today must always be on
your minds. Recite them to your children. Talk about them when you are
sitting around your house and when you are out and about, when you are
lying down and when you are getting up. Tie them on your hand as a sign.
They should be on your forehead as a symbol. Write them on your house's
doorframes and on your city's gates."

Ezekiel 23:2-7, 11-12

2Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3And they committed whoredoms in Egypt [symbolising double life]; they
committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed,
and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

4And the names of them were Aholah [means 'her own tent' one who created
her own institute] the elder, and Aholibah [means 'woman of the tent' a
institute ruled by a woman] her sister: and they were mine, and they
bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria [ a rocky
mountain - symbolizing having many truths and not one Truth] is Aholah,
and Jerusalem [ there are 2 Hebrew words translated as Jerusalem one
means the place <03390> the other the false Jerusalem <03389> , this is
the later] Aholibah.

5And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her
lovers, on the Assyrians [strangers - symbolizing false gods / beliefs]
her neighbours,

6Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them
desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the
chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their
idols she defiled herself.

11And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her
inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in
her whoredoms.

12She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers
clothed most gorgeously, horsemen [symbolizing prosperity] riding upon
horses [symbolizing progress], all of them desirable young men
[symbolizing spiritually immature people] .

Tested by the Lord - He makes a way out

Jeremiah 35:5 - And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites
pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

We read in today's message a Man of God like Jeremiah brings the sons of
Rechabites into the worship place and offers them pots of wine to drink!

We read Jeremiah did not do this by his own thinking but he was directed
by God to do this. Why would God offer the Rechabites wine and that too
in a place of worship? If it was not Jeremiah and someone unknown doing
that, we would have immediately concluded that the person was an
instrument of Satan, who else would do such a thing and that too in such
a place?

Firstly let us analysis the scriptures. The wine which is mentioned here
is Yayin (in Hebrew) which is daily drinking wine meaning it was not
strong wine or alcohol (Shekar). This wine was mildly to moderate
fermented and it would take a lot of drinking of this wine for a person
to be affected by it.

Secondly God did not just tell Jeremiah to give them wine but ask him to
bring them to a place considered holy to test them. If God wanted them
to just drink wine, God would have asked Jeremiah to call them to his
house or to go to their house and offer them wine. But by bringing them
to a holy place God got them to be more aware of their commitment and
this strengthened them to stay rooted to it.

The Greek word used for testing and tempting is the same word peirazo.

James tells us not to state we are tempted by God. Translation did not
use the word tested but preferred to use the tempted even though the
Greek word peirazo which means both is used here.

When we say the word tempted in English it means being put to test or in
a situation with the intention to destroy or harm us. God tests us and
He does it to promote us spiritually or to bless us. He does this to see
if His Word is in us. Even Satan tries to see if the Word of God is in
us but when he does it we call it temptation and not testing because his
intention is to see us fail and not pass the test. That is why he made
Adam and Eve first doubt the Word of God before eating of the fruit of
the Tree of Good and Bad.

Today's example is a perfect example of testing verses tempting. We see
God shows His intention by bring them in a holy place before being
tested. God made sure He helped them to pass the test. He made a way of
escape for them from failing the test. Paul in his first letter to the
Corinthians confirms this.

God is telling us when He tests us He makes all the possible required
arrangements for us to come out of it with flying colors. He desires we
mature and therefore teaches us to discern by taking us through tests.

We may ask what is the ultimate purpose of God to do this?

The testing and temptation we are going through on earth are very small
for these are temptaions of the flesh, things that hold not much value.
Give it a thought Lucifer called the king of tyre and the Beast called
the prince of tyre were not ordinary Angels; they were Cherubs who
headed legions of Angels. They were most close to the glory of God,
taking the highest spiritual place any created being could and yet we
see they fell. They fell not by bad things but with good spirit things
which they misused, used not according the plans of God. Bible does not
say God gave a Commandment to them which they broke. The first
Commandment was given to man therefore the first sinner is man not Satan
(plural). But the first evil being or father of evil is not man but Satan.

Going against the plan of God after having knowledge of what is right in
the eyes of God is great evil. It is this evil which God calls darkness.

Had the Rechabites failed the test even after God helping them, it would
have shown the evil in them. But God knowing that with a little help
they would pass the test caused Jeremiah to bring them to a holy place
to be tested. Their passing this test and the life of the Rechabites
helped God to teach the Israelites and us the meaning of diligence.
These people gave up the comforts of life to stay committed to what they
believed in. They did not have much knowledge of the Truth yet we see
great commitment from them; we who know of the Truth how much more is
expected of us.

At times God needs to bring us back on the track or accelerate us
through this journey therefore needs to put us through tests, but like
today's message says He also helps us pass it and desires we do not fail
or be consumed by it.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are preparing us for greater things in Heaven. You desire we
do not fall like Satan did that is why even though You allowed sin to
come in man yet You made a way of escape from sin through Jesus Christ.
Lord, we know You will make way for us even in the small tests that we
go through if we keep committed to You like the Rechabites did. Help us
Lord to keep our eyes always on You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scripture]

Jeremiah 35:1-2

1The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of
Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring
them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them
wine to drink.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a
way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Ezekiel 28:1-5, 11-17

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit
in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and
not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

3Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can
hide from thee:

4With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee
riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

5By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches,
and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto
him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom,
and perfect in beauty.

13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy
covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and
the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the
workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the
day that thou wast created.

14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:
thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in
the midst of the stones of fire.

15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created,
till iniquity was found in thee.

16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee
with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as
profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering
cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted
thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground,
I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Making the Lord's House into a den
Luke 19:45-48

45And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold
therein, and them that bought;

46Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but
ye have made it a den of thieves.

47And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the
scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

48And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very
attentive to hear him.

People think Jesus drove traders out of the Jewish Synagogue just once,
but if one looks closely at the different scripture and the sequence of
scriptures one will realize it was more than once (3 times) that Jesus
drove the traders away from the Synagogues. But interestingly all those
times Jesus did not hurt them He hit the ground with the cloth belt, but
turned their money tables and set free the animals and birds that were
caged; He hurt their business.

Today's message talks of what is still continuing in our Churches. We
see each denomination leaders stating their own rules and regulation.
The elders of each denomination claims to be led by the Spirit of God
and tell all their members to fall in line with their understanding. If
that is true than why do they contradict with the understanding of
leaders of other denominations? How can the Holy Spirit lead different
people according to different understandings?

People have their own understanding and are led more by their flesh and
yet claim to be led by the Holy Spirit. The back ground is that many
have made the Church a business center like the traders did in today's
message.

Look at the Bible these traders were actually not doing anything wrong
if one does not have a right understanding of scriptures. They were not
selling vegetables or things that are sold in the marketplace. They were
making available things that were necessary for performing the
sacrifices as given in the books of Moses. They were simply enabling the
people to perform their religious duties.

That is exactly what is happening in our Churches. Most people who head
the Churches lack right understanding of scriptures therefore are doing
religious duties more than the spiritual duties. They have created rule
books like the Jews and thus condemn people and make them feel guilty of
sin because they do not follow their understanding and rules.

Today God is telling them like He did in the Synagogues He will turn
their tables and bring their business to loss. He will not hurt them are
they are His flock, but He will hurt their ground and hurt their
business because they have made His House into a religious place of
business. He will judge them only on Judgement Day.

Christianity is not a religion; God is not a school master but a Father
who loves His children. If God was what they have made Him to be then we
would not have been any hope.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, even today many have made your congregations into business
centers. They complete with each other and yet claim to be your House.
They have caused your House to be a divided House. Lord we pray for a
revival in your House, like You drove away the traders so also drive
away those who have made your House a business center. Let your House be
a House of Truth, a House of fellowship, a House of worship, a House of
service and a House of prayer...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Luke 19:1,45-48

1And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

45And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold
therein, and them that bought;

Matthew 21:6-13

6And the disciples went, and did even as Jesus appointed them,

7and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their garments; and
he sat thereon.

8And the most part of the multitude spread their garments in the way;
and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.

9And the multitudes that went before him, and that followed, cried,
saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the
name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying,
Who is this?

11And the multitudes said, This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of
Galilee.

12And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out all them that
sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the
money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;

13and he saith unto them, It is written, My house shall be called a
house of prayer: but ye make it a den of robbers.

John 2:12-16

12After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his
brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.

13And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves,
and the changers of money sitting:

15and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both
the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and
overthrew their tables;

16and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make
not my Father's house a house of merchandise.

He wills you know Him and His Word

Acts 22:14 - And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that
thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear
[listen] the voice of his mouth.

One of the greatest problem with Christians is they do not know why they
are Christians or need to be Christians. When I say Christian it does
not mean those who follow the religion Christianity but means those who
follow Christ and are in the process of becoming like Christ.

People are fooled to believe that accepting Christ as one's saviour will
get them to Heaven. Jesus again and again in the 4 Gospels said the
words 'follow me'; a person that does not follow Him is not called a
Christian. Understand the people were called Christians only in Antioch,
in all the other places they were called 'people of the way'. The name
was not given to them because of what they believed but more because the
way they lived their lives.

The primary reason why Jesus came as man and died on the cross is not
understood by many. If you ask any Christian you are sure to get the
answer to forgive us our sins.

Imagine a vessel that is dirty and in muck, you taking that vessel and
washing it spick and span and putting it back in the muck. Does that
make any sense?

Jesus by His sacrifice forgives us of our sins when we believe in His
sacrifice and accept it in our lives but then His sacrifice does not
attend to the sinful nature in us and that is why even after we become
Christian we still sin. No Christian can say they do not sin either in
thought, words or deeds if not in all.

God knew to really save man He needed to change man and there was no way
man could change by himself. So God needed to be in man, with man to
save him. Sinful man is like stagnant water that breeds all likes of
infection and in such water God can not dwell. Repentance is what causes
the dirty water to move or flow out and knowledge of the kingdom of God
is like fresh clean water that fills in. Even if that water is as dirty
as can be, all one needs to do is follow the process continually, till
all the dirty water is drained and fresh water fills in. This process is
what Jesus calls being born again and for this we need God in us and
that is why Lord Jesus Christ gave us His Spirit.

If we do not understand that the most important part of believing in the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ is to receive His Holy Spirit and to be led by
Him, we will fail to be true Christians.

We need to know due to sin we lost something and just removing stain of
sins is half the job, we need to gain back what we lost and that is the
only way we can be complete and enter Heaven.

Today's scripture says God willed that we know His Just one Jesus Christ
from whom we receive Righteousness but to receive this Righteousness we
need to know His Word and it is the Spirit of Truth - the Holy Spirit
who does the job by renewing our minds, our hearts and bringing the
Truth in us.

Jesus as man taught His disciples but yet they did not understand Him.
Jesus knew that no man can teach man perfectly, that is why He said He
will give them the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth who will disclose all
that He taught them and bring them to the Truth. Jesus who was so
perfect yet relied on the Holy Spirit but we have many preachers and
leaders who try to do the job by themselves.

In our last message we learned how God will prompt us and help us in our
mission, today God is reminding us and telling us the importance of the
Holy Spirit in our mission in Him. We need to understand we are not to
lead people unto the end but like Jesus just prepare them to a stage
that the Holy Spirit can take over and finish the job. That is why
scriptures say there is not teacher other than the Lord (Holy Spirit).
But since man being far from knowing the Holy Spirit or being in
communication with Him, we the anointed ones of God need to fill in that
gap.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, many think by just acknowledging You in their lives they will
enter Heaven. Paul called us corrupt - dirty and partly broken being and
we need to not only be cleaned but also rebuild, renewed and born again.
Holy Spirit it is only by You that we can be renewed in our nature when
the Truth abides in us. Holy Spirit fall on your people and take charge
of their hearts and minds. Renew them and complete the job Jesus came
for and You have started in us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 23:8 - But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your teacher, and
all ye are brethren.

John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.

1 John 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon
us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world
knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Philippians 2:15 - That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of
God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Romans 8:19 - For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for
the manifestation of the sons of God.

1 Timothy 2:3-4

3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of
the truth.

John 8:31-32

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue
in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 16:12-16

12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into
all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it
unto you.

15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he
shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while,
and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Word of Knowledge?
Luke 19:30-32

30Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your
entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose
him, and bring him hither.

31And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto
him, Because the Lord [master] hath need of him.

32And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said
unto them.

We see in today's message Jesus tells His disciples about a colt being
tied in the village, to loosen it, and bring it to Him and if the owner
asks to tell them that the master is in need of the colt. Jesus did this
to fulfil scripture Zechariah 9:9.

According to scriptures the Lord promised 2 persons (Saviours) one a
Prophet greater than Moses and one a king greater than David. One, they
thought would save them spiritually and another from being oppressed by
other kingdoms. People including Mary Jesus' own mother knew Jesus as
one who would spiritually save them, a Prophet greater than Moses none
thought of Him as saviour king.

It was later to this people thought Jesus would led them to revolt
against the Romans and thus we see Peter started carrying swords.

Matthew records this event in detail and even sites the verses Jesus
fulfilled. Jesus entered the city sitting on one animal while putting
His legs on its young like a king seated on his throne. It was this odd
sight that caused the people to wonder and remember the prophecy of
Zechariah and thus welcome Jesus with such pomp. We see only when Jesus
fulfilled this prophecy did the people recognize Jesus as a person who
was both saviour Prophet and saviour King, that is why they rejoiced
greatly and welcomed Him as a king would be welcomed.

In today's message we are to concentrate on, how Jesus came to know
about the colt (ass and its young) that helped Him fulfil His mission?
Did Jesus use His God powers? If so then it would fail scriptures that
God humbled Himself and came as man - 100 percent man in the flesh.
Jesus was man as you and me having no God powers, He was anointed and
what powers He had are the powers available to any Man of God as he or
she matures in the Lord.

People think Jesus had Word of Knowledge.

Actually there is nothing like Word of Knowledge in the Bible. There is
knowledge of the Kingdom of God (including the Word) and there is wisdom
to understand this knowledge. What they call as Word of Knowledge is in
actual the prompting of the Holy Spirit. It was the Holy Spirit Who
helped Jesus fulfil His mission on earth as man. The Holy Spirit did not
help Jesus just in these ways by prompting but also helped Him to remain
without blemish for Jesus as man was as weak as you and me. The Holy
Spirit was the Power that helped Jesus resurrect from Hell (break free
from Hell since Hell is a prison for sinners without grace and Jesus had
no sins in Him, He went there since our sins were on Him and God had
forsaken Him but since there was no sin in Him, He was set free). This
Power did not work after Jesus died but worked while Jesus was alive but
the results showed even after He died.

Today's message is in continuation of the messages we have been
receiving about mission.

The Lord told us in the last messages He knows who to put on what
mission and that He enables them with all things and surroundings they
need for the mission before sending them. Today He is telling us even
when they are on the mission He guides and helps them like He did to
Jesus if only we be sensitive to His voice.

Let us remember as Christians God has put on a mission and He knows we
are the perfect candidates for this mission. He has already given us all
that we need before He set us out on the mission, our success in already
written (collectively) . Even as we are on the mission He will intervene
and guide us through it.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are a Living God. You do not silently watch, but are active
party to our mission. You prompt us and help us through our mission.
Lord, help us be still in our hearts that we may hear your prompting and
may do wonderfully in our mission...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 21:1-11

1And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage,
unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway
ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring
them unto me.

3And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of
them; and straightway he will send them.

4All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the
prophet, saying,

5Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek,
and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and
they set him thereon.

8And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut
down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying,
Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of
the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying,
Who is this?

11And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter
of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having
salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an
ass.

Isaiah 12:6 - Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is
the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

God uses man in his smartness (foolishness)
Jonah 3:7-9

7And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the
decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast,
herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

8But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto
God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the
violence that is in their hands.

9Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce
anger, that we perish not?

Yesterday we got the message of being on a mission and how God sets
things and people around us for our mission.

Today God wants to show us the other side of the coin when we act
foolishly and how God knowing our foolishness still gets us to do our
mission successfully in Him, this we learn today from the testimony of
Jonah.

In today's message we read the message of repentance which Jonah gives
to the people of Nineveh and how the king and his nobles receive it and
set it as a degree to all in Nineveh and this later pleases God and
causes God to hold back His wrath against them.

To understand the book of Jonah first we need to know who the people of
Nineveh were.

Through archeologically information it was found these people were worse
than the Nazis during the World War 1. These people were very powerful
both militarily and economically, they worshiped pagan gods and believed
that the human sacrifices they offer to these gods were the cause of
their success. They would offer child sacrifices and would skin live
humans and use that skin for the ritual worship. There were found
illustrations of them in large boats offering these sacrifices on it.
Their greatest asset was their large naval might. Thus the pagan god
Dagon - half fish half man was their chief god, they also had other gods
like Nisroch who was half eagle and half man. Archaeologist found
illustrations of this god Dagon on the walls of their city gates. By the
construction quality and heights of their structures it is considered
they were also technologically far superior to the others during their time.

These people were most hated by others especially the Jews for the Jews
suffered under their hands many a times. That is why we see Jonah was
bent upon see them being punished by the Lord. Jonah tried to run away
in the ship not for the reason to run away from God. Jonah was a Man of
God and was not so foolish to think he could run from an omnipresent God.

Jonah took the ship to Tarshish because from Trashish to Nineveh the
journey was more than 4 days and Jonah knew God had given the people of
Nineveh just a few days to repent before His wrath would finish them.
But Jonah did not think God would arrange a natural speed boat for him.
He underestimated the wisdom and ability of God.

God put Jonah is the belly of a whale and took him at high speed to
Nineveh. At Nineveh when Jonah was vomited out on the shore there were
people of Nineveh who witnessed this. Not only that, Jonah being in the
fishes belly for 3 days had caused his skin to be bleached white and
wriggled. They being worshippers of Dagon thought Jonah came from their
god, therefore did not restrict his entry into their city and even
allowed him to take the most prominent place which the center of the
city to talk to the people of the city. News of this event and the words
of Jonah spoke went quickly to the king and the nobles and caused them
to issue a directive immediately the same day to instruct all to change
their way of life and to forgo violence.

For them it was a person from their god Dagon speaking about a greater
God greater than Dagon. That is why they summited immediately. Had Jonah
not tried to run away from doing his mission and not come out of a fish,
he would not have been allowed to enter the city and address the people
like he did and be successful in it. His foolishness had caused him to
be used successfully for the mission.

We too at many times think we know all or are successful in our mission
in the Lord because of our wisdom and understanding of the Kingdom of
God. But ironically we are like Jonah, living in human emotions more
than spiritual understanding. The thing we do thinking we are right, God
turns events around and gets the job done. That is why we see even
though there are lots of preachers who are far from the knowledge of the
Truth are yet used by God in mighty ways. These preachers may think it
is their spiritual maturity and gifting that is causing their ministries
to do well but then they are mistaken many a times. They are like Jonah
who was used by God in Jonah's foolishness and not due to his wisdom.

God know each and every one of us inside out and also know the foolish
steps we will take at time He stops us from doing them and at times
allows us to do them. In either way He knows how to save His people. He
will not allow His people to perish due to foolish workers of the
Vineyard of God.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are all knowing and also aware of every thought and deed that
we will do yet You chose us. Many a times we act like Jonah and let our
human emotions and lack of understand cause us do foolish things. Yet
Lord You turn things around and still use us for your glory and cause us
to be blessed in You. Today people know Jonah for the mighty things You
did through him and not for the foolish thoughts of his. Lord, we pray
we work more in wisdom and understanding for your Kingdom and less like
Jonah led by emotions and lack of knowledge of You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Book of Jonah

Namuh 1:1-

1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is
furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he
reserveth wrath for his enemies.

3The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all
acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the
storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

4He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers:
Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.

5The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned
at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

6Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the
fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks
are thrown down by him.

7The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth
them that trust in him.

8But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place
thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end:
affliction shall not rise up the second time.

10For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are
drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.

11There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a
wicked counsellor.

12Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus
shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have
afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.

13For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds
in sunder.

When God gives you a mission He puts you on it

Acts 22:26 - When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief
captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.

Paul was a man on a mission. When God chose him he was given a harvest
which included the gentiles (lost sheep), kings (rulers/administrat ors)
and children of Israel (spiritually little in the Lord) and these he
dedicatedly served, this we see through his letters. When time came for
his ultimate mission to go and preach to the ruler of the world at that
time - the Roman emperor, God had set all things for Paul.

Paul was born of mixed parents a Jew and a Roman. He was born Saul which
means 'desire&# 39; but by his way of life after coming in the Lord he was
called Paul which means 'little&# 39;. He was a very learned Jew, learned in
the ways of the Jewish laws and that to from the top most respected
teacher during his time and this man Paul made the greatest impact
against the Jewish teachings. He showed them how wrong they were in
their understanding of the laws of Moses and the books of the Prophets.
God even gave him the last push when the time came for him to go to Rome
to witness before Caesar.

The moment Paul was arrested by the Jews and was about to be dealt
according to the law of the Jews, God bought the Roman centurion in the
picture and he saved Paul from the hands of the Jewish local council,
later Paul's nephew lands unexpectedly at the right time and right place
to overhear some Jews plotting to kill Paul and with the help of the
centurion he is taken to the district level council before the Roman
representative Felix.

There the Lord causes the worst of person to represent the Jewish
council and contest against Paul, his name Tertullus itself meant
'tripled hardened' . The man who sat in the judgment seat Felix even
though being a Roman knew about Christ yet he did not show favour
towards Paul since he was a corrupt person and wanted money from Paul.
He put Paul in house arrest for 2 years but did not restrict Paul from
doing his work; in fact Paul had soldiers guarding him through this time
while he met people. God allowed him to continue his ministry even in
his period of being arrested.

If one was in Paul's place one would have thought why did God not do a
miracle and save Paul from prison like He did with the other Apostles
before. We would have thought God had started to love us less or had
forsaken us.

We need to understand we are men on a mission like Paul when we take up
the Cross of Jesus Christ. God will make all things that are necessary
for us to complete our mission in Him. He will bring the best or even
the worst persons in our live, at that time we may not understand but
then we will realize without those people we would not have been
successful in our mission. Each one played their role towards our mission.

Let us be like Paul surrendering to the Lord and trusting in Him in all
things, at all times. It is only when we know this we can rejoice in the
Lord and be strengthened with His joy knowing we are quicken in our
mission even when things are bad around us.

Let us walk in the righteousness of the Lord and let the Lord takes
charge of all things around us. Let us be assured our God will complete
what He has started in us.

[Prayer Starter]

You are Living God. For You Lord past, present and future is visible at
the same time. Time is not a factor to You. Lord, You alone know what is
best for us and when You have given us a mission, You will surely help
us to complete it. You will provide Lord all that is needed for us in
our mission. Lord we pray your people know they are men on a mission and
that they do not worry or be anxious of how they will accomplish their
mission in You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Acts 9:11-15

11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is
called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul,
of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

12And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting
his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

13Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how
much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that
call on thy name.

15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto
me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of
Israel:

Acts 21:29-33

Acts 22:24-30

Acts 23:11 - And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be
of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so
must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Acts 23:12 -24

Acts 24:1 - And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with
the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus [meaning triple
hardened], who informed the governor against Paul.

He came not for the righteous but sinners to repentance

Mark 2:17 - When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole
have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to
call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

This scripture which we received today is very famous. People say 'Jesus
came not for the righteous but for the sinners' , but when you look at
the scripture accurately it does not say Jesus came for the sinners but
for sinners to repentance.

Without repentance none can come to Jesus or to God. The first step for
a person to come to God is to realize that he or she is a sinner and by
no means can that person undo ones sins without the help of Jesus Christ.

If we look at the people of this world we will find each and every
person is spiritually sick not one person in this world is perfect. That
means each and every person requires Christ, but we also see not all the
people come to Christ.

When Jesus spoke these lines it was because the Pharisees questioned His
sitting with people they considered sinners and robbers of men (tax
collectors). The Pharisees themselves were not free of sin but they
considered themselves righteous and that God had taken care of their
sins because they did the works of God.

In today's world any person having a little sense would know that they
are sinners, yet we find very few come to Christ. It is the gods of the
people or their lack of understanding of God that makes them think they
are righteous and it is this that prevents them from really coming to
Christ. People in this category do not mean only non-Christians but even
many so called Christians stand in this lot.

Many call themselves Christians because they believe something about
Jesus Christ. Just believing something about Jesus Christ does not make
any person a Christian. Knowing ones self to be a sinner and then
repenting for one's sinful nature; this is the first step towards
becoming a Christian after this comes the next and most important part
receiving the Holy Spirit, being baptised in the Holy Spirit and being
led by the Holy Spirit. Only those who do this complete process are
called true Christians.

People make a big mistake of repenting for the sins they commit. One
cannot do anything by repenting for the sins one commits for it is only
by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ one's sins are washed away and without
true repentance one cannot come to Christ. True repentance requires one
to repent for committing sins and not for the sins they committed.

When John the Baptist and Jesus started their ministry they started with
preaching repentance. They asked people to have the fruit of repentance
which means to repent not for the sins but for committing the sins, the
bearing of wrong fruits. When we repent for committing sins we will have
a desire to change and stop committing sins that is where we get to
receive the Holy Spirit through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That is
when we get born again and start our journey of becoming Christians.
Only those who repent for their sinful nature really become Christians
and have Jesus Christ in their lives.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, many are misled to believe in ways to justify their sins by false
gods and false beliefs. Lord, there are also those who realize they are
sinners and repent for their sins, these are the ones who come on
visiting visa to You, after a few days they are back to where they
started. It is only those who repent for their sinful nature are the one
who realize without You they cannot change. These are the ones who
receive the Holy Spirit and are born again in You. Lord, we pray more
and more stand among the later and not the former, that more and more
become true Christians and have You in their lives...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Mark 2:16-17

16And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and
sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and
drinketh with publicans and sinners?

17When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no
need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the
righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 3:1-2, 6-8

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of
Judaea,

2And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

6And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his
baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you
to flee from the wrath to come?

8Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Matthew 4:13-17

13And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon
the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

14That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

15The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the
sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

16The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which
sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

17From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the
kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The story of life in the story of Israel

Judges 11:9,10 - And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye
bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD
deliver them before me, shall I be your head? And the elders of Gilead
said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so
according to thy words.

If one puts the whole story of Israel in a nutshell one will see the
story of life in it.

When Lucifer went against the plans of God (which is light) he caused
darkness to come into existence. Lucifer being a Cherub (referred as
snake or dragon) also influenced another Cherub (referred as young lion
or beast) and all the Angels below them, thus Revelation states as one
third of the Angels, since there were 6 Cherubs each having an army of
Angels below them.

The Cherubs and the Angels form the Body of the Son (should not be
misunderstood to a natural earthly body), like the Son and Spirit form
the Body of the Father. Due to the rebel of the fallen angels the Body
of the Son (the Temple) was affected and thus caused God to create man
lower than the Angels (make exactly like the Angels in spirit but put in
the flesh therefore lower than the Angels) to replace the fallen angels
and form the Renew Temple - Body of God the Son. But then they were not
allowed the smooth transition, Satan caused man to eat of the fruit of
doubt (Tree of Good and Bad) and thus caused the long journey of man
through the wilderness which we are living. We will be built through the
wilderness and be renewed to fight and overcome Satan and the fallen
angels at the end. But for God the most important fact for us to
overcome is not the fallen angels but the nature within us, for without
it we would be consumed by the fallen angels.

In today message from Judges Chapter 11 we read the story of Israel in a
nutshell narrated by Jephthah when he challenges the Amorites.

The journey of the Israelites to the Promised Land was a short trip
through the land of the Amorites but due to their refusal to allow them
to pass through they had to take a long journey through the wilderness.
God did do great miracles through the Israelites in the wilderness and
they also defeated many armies fighting great battles by their faith in
God but this was built gradually through their journey in the
wilderness. God knew if they had faced the Amorites in the start itself
they would have been consumed by them. Even though God was able to do
all things but yet the lack of faith of the Israelites in God would have
not allowed the power of God to be manifested through them and they
would have been consumed by the Amorites.

Jephthah was born from a prostitute and man is called a spiritual
prostitute by God when they go after other gods. It was this rejected
child of the prostitute who later became their leader when the
Israelites approached him united as one and it was this man Jephthah
along with the Israelites challenged the Amorites and defeated them.
Also we note before defeating the Amorites he had to deal with his own
people who had forsaken the Promised Land (symbolizing Heaven) for the
land before river Jordan (symbolizing earthly inheritance) .

Christ was born out of sinful man and was rejected but now we are
growing aware that without Him we stand no change to defeat the fallen
angels and therefore are getting united together to approach Him to come
back and lead us to the battle. During this period we are getting built
spiritually for the battle.

God said not to spare any being of the Amorites, not only the men, women
or infants but even the animals connected to them and the thing
connected to them to be destroyed. God may look very harsh or unmerciful
when He commanded this but that was the shadow of what we need to do to
the fallen angels. We are called to destroy every form and type of
fallen angel and all this things connected to them, not sparing even the
smallest of smallest being among them or thing connected to them.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You loved us so much that You went to great extent to demonstrate
the t5hings hidden through the life of the Israelites. Man runs after
earthly things but the man Abraham who was given the promised was
satisfied with the real promise even though he did not receive the
earthly shadow. Lord, build us from inside and help us be united as one
to be led by the Son of Man Jesus when He comes again. That He may lead
us to victory over the fallen angels and that we may inherit the
Heavenly things we were made for...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Judges 11:1-33

Numbers 21:34-35

34And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him
into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to
him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

35So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was
none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

Deuteronomy 3:1-6

1Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of
Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

2And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and
all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him
as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

3So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of
Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him
remaining.

4And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we
took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the
kingdom of Og in Bashan.

5All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside
unwalled towns a great many.

6And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon,
utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

The twelve whom Jesus trained

Mark 3:14-19

14And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he
might send them forth to preach,

15And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

16And Simon he surnamed Peter;

17And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he
surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

18And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and
James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

19And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

When Jesus started His ministry He preached to the people first and at
the wedding of Canna (which was His own sister's wedding - daughter of
Mary), it is written He had His disciples attending the wedding with
Him. But we see Jesus shows us how to carry the Cross thus He did not
only preach about the Kingdom of God to the people but also make sure He
would mould a select few to carry on the work. They were not His own
close family members (although He did have James and John who were His
cousin, children of His aunt Salome whom He lovingly called Mary). His
own brother James (son of Mary His mother) was not included in the
twelve but later when he came to believe in Jesus Christ (that is about
the time of Jesus' crucifixion) he became very active in God's work so
was selected to be the head of the Church in Jerusalem. Even Jude
(Judas) His younger brother also was active but he is not known to be
given any post in the church/churches.

Jesus knew about His death and did not want His ministry to end with His
death so trained twelve of them to carry on His work. There are times
when Jesus took the back seat and send His people ahead in pairs to
minister. For Jesus it was not all about Him but it was all about His
Fathers' business.

In today ministries we see more of family business and less God's
business. Leaders will make sure certain parts of the ministry are in
the control of family members, irrespective of the fact that they have a
calling to do so, or not. The fact lies they do not consider other
believers as family and do not trust them, their words and actions do
not match. If they do not have a little also competent family member
then we see their ministry tends to die a natural death along with them
for they fail to groom others to carry on the ministry.

We also see Jesus knew Judas Iscariot was a thief and yet Jesus allowed
him to hold the purse of the ministry, the money which people gave them
as tithe. Jesus' action showed He did not depend on this money fully to
do the works of the ministry unlike we see in today's ministries. The
first factor that comes up at ministry meetings is finance and today's
ministry leaders are better finance managers than preachers. And if any
other member is handling the finance that person would be his or her
closest or most trusted associate.

Another thing we see that not all these twelve whom Jesus trained headed
the Church after Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was given to the
congregation and the true Church was formed. We see Jesus knew from the
twelve He trained only Cephas (Peter), James and John Zebedee (His
cousins) would be the main guides to the Church along with Paul and
Barnabas who would join them later. That is why Jesus gave more
attention to the three.

We also see Jesus knew from the start Judas Iscariot was going to fail
Him yet He kept Judas as part of His ministry and taught him as He did
to the others. For Jesus it was more important fulfilling the Will of
God than the popularity of His ministry. This is also not what we see in
ministries today. The moment they see a person shaky that person is
degraded from his post or kicked out of the ministry. In fact we see
without Judas Iscariot the ministry or Jesus would not have been
successful, Judas played an important role in it even though it was
negative role. That is why at the end Jesus told him to do quickly what
he was set to do. Jesus did not rebuke the evil spirit / Satan out of
Judas like Jesus did to Peter (Cephas) nor prayed for him like He did
for the others.

There were not just twelve people in Jesus' troupe that followed Him
everywhere. Jesus would have selected more people and that is our
mentality, the more the merrier or better to spread the ministry. Tell a
Pastor about more people joining his or her church or an Evangelist
about people becoming supporters of his or her ministry and their eyes
become like a child who is told he or she would be given lots of candy.

People lack direction and purpose of their mission in God therefore do
mistakes in their lives and their ministries. Moses knew what he had to
do, so also Jesus and Paul knew about their road ahead. When we are led
by the Spirit of God, we are made aware of our mission and goal, it is
only then we can walk with clear sight and take due firm steps towards
our goal.

Let us not do God's work our way but do it the way God wants us to do.
This is God's business and we are called not to be either slaves or
servants or franchisees for this business but are called to be
Associates of God in this business. We profit as this business grows,
this profit is not worldly riches which are temporary but are spiritual
riches that are forever. Worldly riches go when spend, but spiritual
riches are different, use them and they grow in you; the more you use
them the more they grow.

Let us learn from Jesus how to do our ministry in the Lord. Let us not
be one of those people who did lots of work in the name of Jesus but
whom on the Judgement Day Jesus denied and said 'I do not know You, for
you have not done the Will of my Father'.

I would be harsh and hard in saying - it would be better to deny Jesus
and live a worldly life then to acknowledge who Jesus is and do our own
ministry in His name. God does not like His glory to be compromised or
touched but another. So do God's work the way God wants it or just be a
believer and worry only of going to Heaven, do not work for the crown or
a position in Heaven, be one of the commoners in Heaven all your eternal
life. But at no cost try to do your own thing taking the Lord's Name for
you would get punished more than the unbelievers.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, many are doing ministries in your name, but are doing their own
thing. The Kingdom of God is suffering because of such people. They
disappoint more than build people in You. Lord, we pray people first
come to You before reaching out to others. That they too like Jesus as
man did, spent time being ministered by You and your Angels, and grew in
wisdom and grace and then reached out to others. Lord may all things be
about You alone and not us. May we find ourselves and in your glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 6:64But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from
the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

John 12:6This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he
was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

John 13:27And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto
him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Luke 9:49-50

49And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in
thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

50And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us
is for us.

Matthew 7:21-23

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.

22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,
ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 23:15 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Many kinds of people give audience to the Word

Luke 19:47,48 - And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests
and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, And
could not find what they might do: for all the people were very
attentive to hear him.

Just two days back I had a meeting with a few people from a Church named
Church of Zion (there are so many churches of Zion this is the 3rd lot I
met) and these people were visiting the people in the area where I go to
teach the Bible every month. My people were troubled with their
teachings on the Sabbath. These people were imposing the Jewish
understanding of the Sabbath unto these Believers, so they asked me to
confront them.

The first thing these people tried to do when they came was to give a
long sermon to the people on the Sabbath. I being aware of their tactics
cut them in between and asked them to speak to me one to one stating
pure scriptures and no beating around the bush.

These people had no basic understanding of the Bible or of the things of
faith. I did give hear to them in the start and then started confronting
them according to the scriptures they stated.

Before I started refuting them we came to an agreement that Jesus did
not break any Law, that He did not change it, but fulfilled it. Then
point wise I started to prove to them that the days in Genesis 1 was not
a 24hr day so God did not rest on the 7th day as they understand and the
rest was not the kind of rest they thought. Secondly they also agreed
that the Commandment on Sabbath as written in Exodus 20:8-11 was
impossible to keep as per today. So if they could not fulfil the Law in
its fullness then they doing part of it was as good as breaking the Law
but they still persisted in trying to keep the Law which they could not
keep.

For me trying to teach them the real meaning of Sabbath was out of the
question since they came with closed minds thus I had to use the same
approach what Jesus did with the Pharisees, put them into a confusing of
their own.

I showed them how the Jews always accused Jesus of break the Sabbath and
according to Matthew 12:5 Jesus stated that the Priest broke the Law of
the Sabbath and yet were considered blameless. Then I showed them that
as Believers in Christ we are called to do the work of God and therefore
are called Priest (1 Peter 2:9 - Royal Priesthood) and thus we as Priest
are not called to keep the Sabbath. That is why Jesus said the Sabbath
was for man and not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27).

Paul knowing the people even though had lack of understanding of
scriptures and the Kingdom of God were still judging others and causing
them to spiritually fall.

Like in today's message there are all kinds of people that give audience
to the Word of God. Some are like the Pharisees who considered
themselves religious policemen, even though they lacked understanding of
scriptures. They did not mind trampling over people's lives just to
prove they were right in their misunderstanding. They could not answer
the questions which Jesus put to them many times that they confronted
Him, yet they thought they knew everything.

The Lord is asking us in what attitude do we come to the Word of God? Do
we come as the Pharisees who took at things in part and thus hardened
our hearts, or do we come like those who were hearing Jesus and were
giving due importance to His every word. Everything we understand from
scriptures should be in line as Jesus did for grace and Truth came
through Jesus Christ.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, give us an attitude or a child that desires to learn when we come
to You to receive your Word. Help not to harden our heart by taking your
Word partly but let us learn to give due importance to each and every
word that comes from You. Lord, it is by You that Truth came and people
started to understand scriptures in its spirit and not follow it in its
letter. Fil;l us with more and more of your Spirit of Truth...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Exodus 20:8-11

8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou
shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that
is within thy gates:

11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that
in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the
sabbath day, and hallowed it.

1 Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an
holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Mark 2:27 - And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not
man for the sabbath:

Colossians 2:16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or
in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

John 1:17 - For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by
Jesus Christ.

In His anger He consumes

Amos 8:8 - Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that
dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall
be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Last time I got this message on 9th March 2011 in the morning and by
evening (India time) there was a great earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
I pray something like this does not happen again.

The Bible says the people who are far from God or do not know Him are
void of God's mercy when His anger is expressed. Even though they are
created by God the Bible also says they are like grass. They exist for a
time and their purpose is not much, so either they wither away and are
forgotten or they are cut and destroyed. Even those plants which only
bear flowers also soon or later face the fate like the grass. It is only
the fruit bearing trees that are protected and preserved.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray for your people in this world that your mercy and grace
may be upon them that they are safe and looked after. You are a
righteous God who does not destroy when even a few of your people dwell
in a city your anger does not consume the city...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Take up your CROSS and bear the power of God

1 Samuel 5:4 - And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold,
Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD;
and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon
the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

In the Old Testament the only object that showed great power of God and
which caused fear in the hearts of the enemies of the people of God was
the Ark of Covenant. The Israelites carried the Ark before them and it
gave them power to overcome not only human enemies, it also had power to
bring down the gods of the enemies and not only that, even nature did
not stand in their way when they bore the Ark of Covenant.

In the New Testament we also have a similar object that carries the same
power. Since the Old Testament is a shadow of the New the object in the
New Testament is not physical but spiritual, one cannot carry a physical
object but needs to spiritually carry it.

Paul speaks of the power of the CROSS and Jesus said if we are His
disciples we will carry our CROSS and follow Him. Jesus gave power and
authority to His disciples, thus only those who carry his or her CROSS
will have that power and authority.

In the Old Testament we see it was by bearing the Ark over their
shoulders the Israelites crossed river Jordan and into the Promised
Land. In the New Testament it is only by our carrying our CROSS do we
become Sons of God (Jordan means inheritance and inheritance is only for
the son - spiritual son / not male or female gender) and enter into the
real Promised Land which is Heaven.

The Israelites till date did not get their promise land for they sought
a worldly inheritance, we Christians are not people of this world we are
not called to pursue worldly things, we seek true things which are
forever. We are assured our Promise Land for Jesus as man is already
there and He awaits us there, preparing a place for us to be there. He
is not preparing Heaven but by His Spirit is preparing us to be in
Heaven (a place not the place) and His Spirit never fails.

CROSS does not mean the crucifix. By carrying an crucifix we will not go
to Heaven, on the other hand it can be a cause of us getting rejected,
for it can fools us to think we are with God, making us into religious
people and not spiritual people. CROSS means our purpose in Christ.
Christ had only one purpose above Him and that was the salvation of His
people, that is why it was not the Candle Stand (symbolizing the Holy
Spirit) and the Shewbread (symbolizing the Son) which were in the Holy
of Holies but it was the Ark which was placed there. Christ (Son with
the Spirit) lifted the purpose of salvation of His people above Him.

In a year it was only once that the High Priest entered the Holy of
Holies to make an offering of blood. Jesus Christ already did this
sacrifice He will not come again and again to do any more offerings of
blood. If we do not carry our CROSS now we will not get a chance again
and again.

Let us not lose this opportunity to bear the power of God and enter the
Promised Land. If we are finding a lot of resistance from the world both
natural and spiritual, let us overcome them by carrying our CROSS our
purpose in Christ.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the world sees all things with natural eyes that is why does not
know You. You Lord came to give us the real Ark and your Spirit to help
us bear it. Lord, open our real eyes to the real world and not be
overcome by this temporary world. You Lord have given us power and
authority, power and authority to bring down fire from the Heavens that
would consume our enemies in an instant, but we Lord fail to use it for
we do not bear our Cross. Lord, help us be your true disciples by
faithfully carrying our Cross in You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Joshua 3:7-17

7And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in
the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses,
so I will be with thee.

8And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant,
saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall
stand still in Jordan.

9And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the
words of the LORD your God.

10And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among
you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the
Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and
the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.

11Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth
over before you into Jordan.

12Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of
every tribe a man.

13And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the
priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall
rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off
from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an
heap.

14And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass
over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the
people;

15And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of
the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for
Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

16That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an
heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that
came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and
were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

17And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood
firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed
over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

1 Corinthians 1:18 - For the preaching of the cross is to them that
perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Matthew 16:24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come
after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mark 8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples
also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

John 12:26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there
shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 14:3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Eat the contents of the vessel and not the vessel

Proverbs 1:1-4

1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

We see many people leave Church because they see the man in the Pastor
or the Man of God and then there are others who stick to a congregation
because the leader is good in sense friendly and helpful. He or she is
always smiling and greeting people anywhere he or she meets them. Any
problem he or she will not fail to show up. But then this person does
not correct people when they make mistakes, this person does not make
any change to the spiritual lives of the people, every service his or
her preaching makes them feel good, it tells them all is well, God is
good and He understands them and their weakness, and loves them as they are.

Bible says an enemy is better than a foolish friend. Knowing that person
is an enemy we keep a watch out on them and their doing but when we
think that person is a friend we stop discerning them and start to trust
them even in little things, and if that person is a foolish person we
will find it too late when they do an insane thing and drag us in it.

People talk of the wisdom of Solomon, ask anyone who is the wisest
person in history and surely many will point to Solomon. But very, very
few look at the most foolish things this great wise man did, he made
friends with foolish people (his unbelieving wives) and due to his love
for them he was blind to what they did and like them he too worshipped
idols - false gods.

We are people of light and light exposes everything so also we should
discern all things according to the Kingdom of God and the Word of God.
People thing this is judging and be blind like Solomon and fall in pits.
People will quote Paul and Jesus about not judging yet you will find
both did judge many. What they did not judge was the consequence of
their actions but they did judge their actions.

The Bible tells us not to judge the consequence of people, will they go
to hell or Heaven, Jesus Himself said He would come again to do that and
when we do that we put ourselves in Jesus' place and deny the need of
Christ therefore are judged for doing that. But that does not mean we
should tolerate, accept everything others do and not correct another
person. We are called as Christians to judge / discern every word and
action and most of all the intensions of other people not putting our
guard down for anyone not even our spiritual guides/fathers. We are
called to discern everything not according to our worldly thinking but
according to the Word of God.

We are called to be children on light and children of light do not walk
with their eyes closed like those in darkness. That we grow in wisdom
and spiritual maturity, eating strong meat by growing in discernment.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the people are more in flesh than of spirit. They walk according
to the flesh and change not something they desire. You are perfect
therefore never change, but even though You do not change yet your glory
keeps growing day by day. You are God that desire progress and therefore
all your plans are for the prosperity of man. Lord we pray that we do
not behave like children of darkness when we have seen your light and
experienced it in our lives. Lord we pray we walk with our eyes open
discerning all things, growing in wisdom and understanding. ..

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 16:3 - And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for
the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of
the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Hebrews 5:14 - But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern
both good and evil.

Ecclesiastes 4:13Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and
foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

Proverbs 17:12 - Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than
a fool in his folly.

Ecclesiastes 4:13Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and
foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

Behold the Ruler of Israel

Matthew 2:6 - And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least
among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that
shall rule my people Israel.

I live in India; India is also referred by many as Hindustan (mostly in
Hindi) and my living in India does not make me a Hindu for Hinduism is
not a religion but a way of life. They willingly have been incorporating
and infusing any god or every local god and local myth into its fold.
Like Islam says Jesus was a Muslim, if Muhammad was born in India or
anywhere near India, he and his Allah too would have been included into
Hinduism.

People have a very wrong understanding about Israel or an Israelite.
There are 4 types of Israelites, one which belong to the country Israel,
second those who are descendants of Jacob, third those who follow
Judaism and fourth those who are spiritual Israel.

Any person who dwells in Israel or gets citizenship of that country
becomes an Israelite/Israeli. So every Christian, Muslim, Buddhist,
Hindu or any person of any religion or belief who is a citizen of the
country Israel is an Israeli/Israelite.

In the Bible the Lord called Jacob Israel thus all his children also
were called by the father's name Israel. That means all the 12 tribes
were called Israel. People do not realize the term Jews were used for
those who dwell in the district Judea. People think all Israelites are
Jews but that is not the case. The other tribes that dwelled in other
regions are also part of bloodline Israel.

People confuse Christians with Jews or Judaism. Jesus was born as a Jew
meaning of the region and tribe of Judah but was not a Jew following the
religion Judaism. Jesus always confronted the Jews (followers of
Judaism) and they hated Him. Although Jews uses the books of Moses as
their main foundation of belief (some also refer to the books of the
Prophets, some do not) yet they defer totally with Christians for they
were more disciples of Moses and less followers of YHWH, they put Moses
above God and thus followed the words of Moses to the letter.

Just a few days back I was teaching on Sabbath and was amazed to learn
what the Lord revealed while I was teaching. The Jews called themselves
disciples of Moses and in the Bible we do not see Moses making any
disciples for himself. The only people who could remotely call
themselves disciple would have been Aaron and Joshua.

When Moses was alive the Israelites (before they were called Jews) many
a time went against Moses' instructions and even at times wanted to kill
him. They became disciples of Moses not when Moses was alive but after
he died. We see God hide Moses' body because He knew what the Jews would
do.

Moses is for the Jews what Mary is for the Catholics. Moses gave the Law
of God and became greater than the Law for the Jews in the same way for
the Catholic Mary gave birth of Jesus Christ and became greater than
Christ. Mary is the Moses of the Old Testament. Even though Moses sinned
many a time yet he was like god for the Jews and therefore when Stephen
spoke against the Jews following another god (Moses), they accused him
of blasphemy against Moses, and then against God, based on the Jewish
law of blasphemy they stoned him to death. Blasphemy is a term used only
when spoken / abuse against God/a god and not against a man.

If we look at scriptures the name of certain people were changed by the
Lord like the Lord changed the name of Abram to Abraham and never called
him Abram after that. Similarly the name of Saul (of NT) was changed to
Paul and nowhere do we see Paul being referred to as Saul in the first
person after that.

But in the case of Jacob and Simon, both Jacob and Simon were call
Israel and Cephas respectively (Cephas in Aramaic and in Greek Peter -
Jesus and His disciples spoke Aramaic so called him Cephas it was later
when they went out of Jerusalem to preach and communicated more in
Greek, the name Peter having the same meaning movable stone / small
stone got stuck) yet many a time both these people were referred to by
their original names on and off. There are sentences where both the
names are used together as if they refer to 2 different people.

The term Israel means Prince (Isra) of God (el) in another words one
having power with (not over) God. Jacob was called Israel for he
struggled (wrestled) with God and overcame (he did not overcome God but
his deceiving nature). About the descendants of Jacob no eating the
hollow part of the thigh because of Jacob's struggle is symbolic since
the thigh part represents prophecy and it was not yet fulfilled. In
olden times people used to place their hand to the thigh of a person
when prophesying over a person or other words blessing a person.

Israel was not a world name but a prophecy to the descendants of Jacob
and Isaac and Abraham, not natural descendants but spiritual by faith in
their God through their seed Jesus Christ. That also does not mean all
Christian are now true Israelites. The term Israelite or Prince of God
in other words simply means Sons of God and as Christians we are in the
process of becoming Sons of God when we are led by the Spirit of God.
But since we fail many a times therefore are not completely Sons of God
yet, but are called Sons of God (in the making). It is only when we
overcome our flesh or other words circumcision of our hearts we become
real Israel / Jews of the Bible (people of God).

Today's message calls Jesus as the ruler of Israel, not of the people of
the country Israel, nor the blood descendants of Jacob, nor the people
who are followers of Moses (Judaism) but those who are becoming Sons of
God - the real Israel.

The Kingdom of Christ is forever and no earthly Kingdom is forever.
Jesus as man grew in age and His body also aged. He was born infant,
became boy, then a young man and then a man. Had He live more as man He
would have aged as an old man and died of old age like any other man for
He was 100 percent man when He was on earth among us.

Many people presume Jesus would come of the age He was when He comes
again and stick to that age forever ruling His people, they are
mistaken. Surely Jesus will come again as He was when He ascended to the
Father, but only to judge His people and then like Paul says we all will
be transformed from these corruptible bodies to incorruptible. Flesh
will no longer exist. Revelation says natural earth (creation) and hell
will cease to exist. The new earth or New Jerusalem is not a natural
world but a spiritual Kingdom that lasts forever (Greek word 'ge' like
the Hebrew word 'erets&# 39; does not necessary point to land but the people
- nation).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray for all those due to lack of understanding are confusing
people of this world with your people. They think more in the flesh than
in the spirit. Lord, open the eyes of your people that they may not be
deceived and become victims of vanity. That they may know that You rein
forever and your Kingdom is forever...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Genesis 32:24-32

24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the
breaking of the day.

25And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the
hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint,
as he wrestled with him.

26And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not
let thee go, except thou bless me.

27And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for
as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he
said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed
him there.

30And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God
face to face, and my life is preserved.

31And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon
his thigh.

32Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank,
which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched
the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.

Genesis 34:7And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard
it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had
wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing
ought not to be done.

Genesis 35:10And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall
not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he
called his name Israel.

Genesis 46:2And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and
said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

Genesis 46:5And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel
carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in
the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
