Prayer Warriors In our rapidly changing times, people are desperate to know the future. Barely do we adjust to the last changes when totally new realities explode into our world. In answer to the common fears spawned by change, society has been inundated by a plethora of occult and demonic sources -- fortune-tellers, astrologers, psychic hotlines -- all pretending to be able to peek into the mystery of tomorrow. Indeed, how many otherwise intelligent individuals glimpse, at least occasionally, at their "astrological signs" and try to get an edge on knowing the future! Why anyone would consult someone who cannot predict his or her own future is beyond me. These fortune-tellers almost always live in poverty. Their ability to predict the future should at least work for themselves, should it not? They could invest in the stock market or pick the right lottery numbers. They cannot even predict or better their own fortunes, yet people go to them for discernment. Tremendous Power in a Christian! Christians must realize that God condemns this demonic, fleshly probing into the unknown. He has called intercessors not to wonder about the future, but to create it through the knowledge of His Living Word and prayer! Our Father gives us access to the future right now. You ask, "How do we know what to pray" The Lord Jesus told us plainly, "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matt. 6:9-10 KJV). We can look at the conditions of the world and faint or look at the possibilities of God and take faith. To bring revival is to pray for the reality of God's kingdom to be made manifest on earth. Jesus was not offering His disciples a millennial prayer focus, for that rule of God's kingdom is coming whether we want it to or not! No, Christ calls us to pray for God's kingdom to manifest itself in our world today. How will tomorrow look if God answers the prayer Christ gave us? Read the gospels. What we see in the life and power of Jesus Christ is a faith picture of God's kingdom. Jesus said that we can have that same full manifestation. In fact, He actually commanded us to pray for Heaven's release! The Prayer Womb The reality that God has planned will always manifest first in the prayer life of His intercessors. When you hear from God and then pray His Word, you are having an impact on the as-yet-unformed essence of life with the Spirit of God Himself! This is why God calls us not only to know His Word, but also to pray it. We must go from intellectualizing God's Word to being impregnated by it. I know that many churches have special areas where intercessors can pray or people can meditate. Maybe we ought to change the name of such places from "prayer room" to "prayer womb." Everything good and holy that we see manifested in people, in churches and in life is first conceived and then birthed in the womb of prayer. We have answers to prayer all around us. The place you are living in is an answer to prayer. When you asked God to lead you to the church you should attend, your current church became God’s answer to your prayer. Similarly, your attendance and participation are answers to the prayers of your pastors and intercessors. Paul wrote, "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might" (Eph. 1:18-19). If you are a Christian, a power accompanies your life that is greater than great: the "surpassing greatness of His power." It is not human power but the actual "strength of His might." God demonstrated this "power toward us who believe" first "in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places" (Eph. 1:19-20). In other words, the power of God’s might is His resurrection power. What does resurrection mean? It means that things that look dead, smell dead and act dead can be touched by God and raised to life! Now think about it: The resurrection power God has given us is the same potency He demonstrated when He raised Jesus out of the grave. Right now, because the strength of God Almighty is attached to our prayer lives, we can look on things that are absolutely dead and pray forth eternal life! Our mission is to bring resurrection life to situations that are dead. If the devil challenges your prayer, remind him that you are seated with Christ "far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come" (Eph. 1:21). Christ's authority is final. But not only did the Father put "all things in subjection under His feet," He also "gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Eph. 1:22-23). Notice how the Lord uses anatomical metaphors to explain the downlink of authority: Christ is the "head" of a "body" that has all things put under its "feet." This is a most profound understanding of our role: What the Head, Christ, has attained, the feet of the church walk out. In other words, God has positioned the church as the living bridge between the terrible conditions on earth and the wonderful solutions from Heaven! As we truly, passionately and accurately submit to Christ in prayer, the kingdom of Heaven steadily enters our now prayed-for world. The key, of course, is to know Christ's Word, for our authority does not originate from ourselves, but from the "sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6:17). What we have is revelation and submission. But as we submit to the Word and persevere in prayer, the future is changed and conformed to God's will. The devil knows that if he can keep our prayer lives silent, he keeps God’s hand distant. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adapted from Francis Frangipane's In Christ's Image Training course and also a chapter in Francis' book, This Day We Fight! available at www.arrowbookstore.com. |

Transforming People to Transform Nations
Don't despair, prepare! Today, like no other time in history, we live in the season of spiritual harvest. Researchers tell us that, worldwide, an average of over 800,000 people each week are being born again into God's kingdom. Beloved, in powerful and amazing ways, the Spirit of God is raising up true followers of Jesus Christ. He is choosing ordinary people with extraordinary callings. Indeed, the Lord is transforming men and women so He can transform cities and nations. To fulfill this eternal mandate, the Holy Spirit is guiding the church back to the simplicity and purity of conformity to Christ. Whether your desire is to see your family transformed or your nation in revival, today is not the time to despair, but to prepare. There were many terrible problems in the world when Jesus began His ministry, but Christ knew a great harvest was coming. Thus, Matthew tells us that, “when [Jesus] saw the multitudes, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. And opening His mouth He began to teach them" (Matt 5:1-2). Jesus saw the multitudes and, in response, began to train His disciples. They would not only represent Him in a theological sense, they would actually re-present Him in the fullness of His power, character and message; everywhere they went, they transformed the world around them. In Christ's Image Training In response to this day of opportunity, the Holy Spirit has given us a vision to see hundreds of thousands of pastors, intercessors and students trained and released into the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. God has given us a very simple strategy: become Christlike! Our confidence is that every time the Father sees His Son manifest upon the earth, His heart is "well-pleased." Thus, if we truly reveal Jesus, we too will awaken the pleasure of God. It is our burning conviction that when the Father's pleasure is stirred, His redemptive power soon follows. Thus, to serve God in this season of harvest, In Christ's Image Training provides two levels of foundational teaching. It also offers a six-month training opportunity where each student teaches Level I material. Within approximately 18 months, the successful student can move through each stage and receive commissioning and association. The messages for Level I classes have been selected from the most important encounters with God in Pastor Frangipane's life. Over time, the substance of these values became the "landing strip" upon which the power of God emerged in Pastor Francis' ministry. Level I training focuses upon the vision of attaining Christlikeness, with added tracks on humility, prayer, and commitment to unity in the body of Christ. The student who successfully walks through this Level I training will receive much more than just theological knowledge; the disciple will obtain a living, functioning impartation from the Holy Spirit through Pastor Francis. The messages are communicated via email and audios in either CD or MP3 format. Level II introduces other national leaders with Pastor Frangipane, who also have been anointed by God for this season of harvest. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Two Realities By Francis Frangipane At any given moment, standing before our world there are two core realities. The first is that which is the consequence of present and past events. In this realm, wars become more destructive, immorality becomes more rampant; disease multiplies out of control, and fear strengthens and becomes immobilizing. In part, this darkened, demonically manipulated reality is what we actually have today, yet clearly a more hellish, worse version of our present world is preparing to emerge. It is of this diabolical world that the scripture speaks of when it warns: "the days are evil" (Eph 5:16). Yet, there is another reality that is also available to mankind. This second realm is the "prayed for" version of the first reality. It, too, stands prepared to show itself. This reality is full of miracles, divine reversals and divine intervention. It is the world of sin confronted, conquered and redeemed by the power of heaven. The scripture calls this reality "the day which the Lord has made" and commands us to "rejoice and be glad in it" (Ps 118:24). Since time began, both of these realities have always existed. The Scriptures bear witness to numerous occasions when people have cried out to God and found the Almighty a willing ally in transforming their culture. When Israel humbled themselves, repented and prayed, and sought again the face of God, the Lord intervened and scattered their enemies. Consider also the ancient Ninevites. When they, too, humbled themselves with fasting and prayer, divine mercy fell upon their culture as well. Indeed, the transformation of their culture was so stunning that Jonah, the prophet sent by God to announce Nineveh’s destruction, actually was displeased that Israel’s enemies received mercy. Jonah lamented, "I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity" (Jonah 4:2). Jonah knew the mercy of the Lord. He also knew that, once a people humbled themselves before the living God, no enemy that stood against them could prosper. The Lord, indeed, was standing ready to show Himself strong on behalf of those who feared Him. As I have lived and known the Lord, He has relentlessly proven over and over again to be a God who answers prayer. He stood with our armies in WWII; He helped bring down the atheistic Soviet Empire. I believe He stands ready today to overthrow our enemies. However, I also know for God to answer prayers, we must pray them. We aggressively support the prayer initiative and want to encourage everyone who calls upon the name of Jesus to join this prayer siege until we see the demonic powers broken. We also ask that pastors and church leadership teams embrace a lifestyle of prayer, leading their congregations into intercession during all regularly scheduled services. It was prayer that brought an end to the Soviet Empire; it will be prayer that breaks the demonic power that is fueling darkness today. No man can stop the march of time, but our intercession can bring the power of heaven to bear upon this world. With hearts aflame with the spirit of Christ, we can rejoice together in seeing the day which the Lord has made.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Overcoming Discouragement The Jews had been defeated by Nebuchadnezzar and, because of their long and extended rebellion to God, the Lord allowed them to be exiled to Babylon. Yet, now their appointed time of judgment had passed; it was time for the Lord's promise to be fulfilled. Indeed, He had assured them, "After seventy years...I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place" (Jer. 29:10 KJV). Initiated by the fasting and prayer of the prophet Daniel, Israel had entered a season of divine visitation: men with both integrity and vision were raised up and financial provisions came. The display of divine grace had created an atmosphere of awe and excitement among the people of God - He was "causing [them] to return" to Israel! Yet, how He brought them back was just as miraculous: Israel's God revealed Himself to King Cyrus of Persia, a gentile king, and actually "Appointed [him] to build [the Lord] a house in Jerusalem" (2 Chron. 36:23). In fact, Cyrus encouraged a national offering for Israel's journey; he restored the treasures taken by Nebuchadnezzar from Israel, and he issued a royal edict, legally authorizing the return of the Jews to Israel. It was a time of great miracles, supernatural provision and fulfilled prophecy. Yet even as the exiles resettled in Jerusalem and engaged in the work of restoration, we read: "Then the people of the land discouraged the people of Judah, and frightened them from building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their counsel all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia" (Ezra 4:4-5). Incredibly, in spite of the miracles, signs and provisions, simple discouragement neutralized their progress. Unbelievably, scholars say that their work stalled for nearly 20 years! Beloved, discouragement is an enemy that is both subtle in its attack and powerful in its ability to stop us. We must discern it when it comes and refuse to accommodate its influence when it speaks. How Discouragement Enters Every person with a vision from God will have serious opportunities to become discouraged as they reach for the fulfillment of their vision. Indeed, just as Israel was given a promise from God and provisions to help their return, so the Almighty has given promises and provisions to us. Your vision may be for your personal transformation, or it may be a God-inspired desire to see your family or church brought into spiritual renewal. You may even possess a citywide vision or a holy passion to see your nation turned toward God. Yet, like the Jews, we can be just as vulnerable to discouragement and its effects. How does discouragement gain access to our souls? The answer is simple: We start evaluating our lives based upon information compiled by our senses instead of assessing our position based upon the promise and help of God. However, I don't mean we are unaware of the difficulties of our faith assignment, but that God is good and He is not hindered by our present limitations. Consider: when God promised Abraham a child in his old age, the Bible says he "contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb." Abraham didn't deny the facts of life; without growing weak in faith, he "contemplated" his situation. "Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God." He was "fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform" (see Rom. 4:19-21). Discouragement comes when we only look at our circumstances without looking to the faithfulness and integrity of what God has promised. Still, discouragement has infiltrated the minds of many. Knowing mankind's vulnerability to discouragement, Jesus taught His disciples a parable that, "at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart" (Lk 18:1). The parable concerned a widow desperately seeking legal protection from an adversary, but she received no immediate help from her judge (see Lk 18). In spite of his resistance, however, she refuses to be discouraged from her quest; she persists until she gains her breakthrough. The goal of Christ's teaching was to immunize His followers from discouragement; to "lose heart" is to become discouraged. Jesus assures us that God will hear us as we turn to Him in persistent prayer. True Faith Takes Courage We also need to know Christ is not just our Savior, but He also is the "author and perfecter" of our faith (Heb 12:2). In order for faith to mature, it needs situations where faith alone can sustain us. "Faith" is not merely a proper understanding of doctrinal issues; faith is the spiritual "substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen" (Heb 11:1 KJV). We must not only possess accurate doctrines about faith; we must live by faith as well. Indeed, there are times when, for faith to develop, we must trust God in spite of how things appear. Jesus often told people to take courage, for their faith had saved them (see Mt 9:2; 9:22; etc.). There will always be times when, against the glaring face of a negative reality, true faith arises, appropriates courage and locks into the integrity of God's promise. We must let faith arise in the context of resistance. This is the faith that touches God's heart. The enemy comes to dis-courage or remove the courage from our hearts, and thus causes us to withdraw into unbelief. To win our fight of faith, we must not surrender to discouragement. Yes, times will come when we will ask God for greater wisdom; certainly, we will adjust our attitudes and become both flexible and wiser as we process the faith assignment destiny has set before us. But we must not give up: "For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him" (Heb 10:37-38). Hall of Faith The above scripture is part of an introduction to Hebrews, chapter 11, which chronicles the heroic stories of those who pleased God with their faith. All of them had to endure the test of time; often the delays seemed so permanent and the odds against them insurmountable, yet none of these men and women allowed discouragement to dim the brightness of their faith. The persevering quality of their hearts - the fact that they stood in the storms of doubt and circumstances and refused to shrink away from God's promise - filled God's heart with pleasure, and He answered their faith. Part of the testimony of those with overcoming faith is that they conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight" (Heb 11:33-34). I absolutely love this scripture: "they conquered kingdoms...put foreign armies to flight." Beloved, a foreign army with weapons named "perversion," "immorality" and "corruption" has invaded our nation and sought to occupy our culture. It has eroded the conscience of our society, and it seeks to carry off our sons and daughters into captivity. We must fight. You say, "But Francis, I'm weary." Yes, there are times when we all get weary. But we have the help of God with us. Consider His promise: "Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations...He will not be disheartened or crushed..." (Isaiah 42:1-4). Christ will be not "disheartened or crushed." Why? The Spirit of God "upholds" Him, and the Spirit of God upholds Christ in us as well. Are you God's servant? Then turn to Him and find new strength. You may be wounded or struck, but as we abide in Christ, we too will be neither "disheartened or crushed." Dear one, there is a spiritual war raging, whether it is over the future of our world or the future of our souls, we cannot shrink back into unbelief. Let us be strong and of good courage. Let us seek God and find new strength in prayer. And let us never give in to the voice of discouragement. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
God's Heart For The Lost The Christian life can become full of duty, but I feel the drawing of the Lord’s heart for the church to return to what should be our first purpose: fulfilling the Great Commission. Indeed, as we draw closer to the Lord's return, His passions shall increasingly become our passions and to rescue the unsaved world is the epicenter of His heart. To understand the Lord's desire for the unsaved, we simply have to review Peter's discourse in Acts, chapter two. Remember, the disciples had been with Jesus for forty days after His resurrection. The words, which Peter took from Joel, conceivably might also have been spoken by Jesus Himself during this last intimate time with His disciples before the ascension. So, it is Pentecost Sunday and several thousand people are suddenly drawn to the spiritual phenomena exploding in the upper room: the sound of rushing wind and flaming tongues of fire. Peter rose and proclaimed to the crowd below the significance of what they were observing. Quoting the prophet Joel, he said, "And it shall be in the last days," God says, "That I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even upon My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit and they shall prophesy. "And I will grant wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. And it shall be, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:17-21). With such signs the church was born and with greater signs shall this age be completed. Indeed, as significant as this inaugural event was, Pentecost represented only the first installment of the anticipated outpouring of the Spirit. Pentecost celebrated only the first fruits of the coming harvest. The full harvest, Jesus said, will be "at the end of the age" (Matt 13:39b). The Lord promised He would pour out His Spirit, not merely on the Jews or North Africans and southern Europeans, but upon ALL mankind. The disciples experienced a great beginning, yet even today nearly two billion souls have yet to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ! Beloved, the passions of God are for all peoples, regardless of their class, culture or geography. So, looking at Peter's proclamation in Acts, let's study, not only what happened, but what the Word of God clearly declares still awaits us. First, to understand God's heart, the Lord said He would "pour forth of His spirit." The concept, "to pour forth," means to give to reach one's goal. When athletes compete, for instance, to win they will pour everything they have onto the field. Having fully spent themselves, they hold nothing back. Likewise, the Lord is saying this: Before the day of My great wrath, I'm going to do all I can to turn the unsaved toward me. So, here's what the Lord is telling us we should expect at the end of the age. First, an anointing will come to the living church that will raise up and release a prophetic generation: even our "sons and daughters will prophesy." Additionally, there will be a restorative grace from God: people who seemingly have missed their destiny, the middle-aged and elderly, will be filled and our "old men will dream dreams." The young and inexperienced, the Lord says, will not be excluded, for "young men will see visions." The Lord is promising that He will be alive in the church, bringing Christlikeness to full stature among His people (Eph 4). Yet, to reach the world, the Lord will multiply the graces He supplies the church and take us beyond what the first century knew. He promises to "grant wonders in the sky above." The word "grant" implies that these attesting signs are not expressions of God's wrath, but answers to prayer! Thus, we should expect spectacular wonders in the heavens that arrest the attention of every soul on earth. Yet, to those who refuse to heed His signs, the Lord declares more fearsome things: "the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood." Yet, even these terrible, unavoidable signs are servants to divine mercy and will be manifestations of God's heart reaching to the stubbornly unrepentant. Our Father is saying He will do absolutely everything to fill the church with power, the heavens with signs and the earth with judgments to bring the lost to Himself. He says this for one summary purpose: "that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (verse 21). God’s Vision If we are truly going to possess the heart of God, then we must care about the spiritually lost. This is why we have, for example, Lighthouses of Prayer to reach and love our neighbors. This is why we work toward unity in the citywide church. The final goal is not unity, but outreach. The ultimate purpose of Pentecost was not phenomena but winning the lost. The outcome of a unified, prayer-focus of the disciples was, again, winning the lost. The disciples were in "one place" and in "one accord," and because of that unity, the Holy Spirit fell with power. The final outcome of Pentecost was salvations: three thousand people came to Christ. God is not going to add people to a divided, selfish, ambitious, or carnal church. He's going to restrain the harvest until we step up to Christ-centered unity. This is why we labor to unite the body of Christ. Only as the church becomes one does the world then believe (Jn 17). So, regardless of your occupation, let your focus be upon praying for and reaching to the lost. If you are a hairdresser, silently pray as you work, and, in your loving conversation with your customers, look for openness in their heart to accept Christ. If you are a doctor, even as you treat the body, look for opportunities to heal the soul of your patients. Whatever your skill or gift is, it should be used to serve this purpose. You do not have to be an evangelist; you simply have to love people and speak as the Lord provides opportunity. God Desires All Men "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority . . .This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim 2:1-4). The Lord desires all men to be saved. No matter what we think of anyone, God desires them to be saved. So willing is He, that He gives many opportunities for people to choose Him, even right up to the moments before the unsaved die. I once met a doctor whose personal conversion was a living illustration to the importance of people being told about Jesus. He and I were guests on Christian television network Trinity Broadcasting Network. As an emergency room doctor, he had documented many cases where people about to die had their lives flash before their eyes. Much of what they saw was their failures and regrets. God has so constructed mankind that, even in the last moments of life, time slows and, in an instant, a lifetime of mistakes can be pondered. I believe God causes this to happen to give the human soul one last chance to repent, one last hope. This doctor also told how he came to Christ. He was dying and, as his life flashed before him, he remembered someone telling him about Jesus Christ. He didn't have all the doctrines or the understanding; He only knew the name of Jesus because someone witnessed to him. And because of that, as it says in the book of Acts, he called "on the name of the Lord" and was saved. I think there are a lot of people, maybe more than we realize, who remember your witness in the final moments before dying. They remember hearing you tell them about Jesus paying for their sins. Then, when confronted with the failures, God gives them this last opportunity. But, if we don't witness, if we don't talk to people about Christ, how will they come to know Him? How will they call on His Name? If we fail to witness by the way we live during crisis times, how will they know that Christianity is real? They will have concluded that Jesus is just a myth. They will have no name to call on. Practical Outreach In our multi-cultural, tolerant world, the unsaved are fortressed by deception concerning the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. They believe all religions are the same. The fact is, Buddha was an atheist who taught that the supreme state of spirituality was reached only after a million reincarnations, and only after the soul fully surrendered to "nothingness," which was called "Nirvana." Jesus did not come that we could accept an utterly empty life, He came that we might have life in abundance! Islam and Judaism require we accept strict laws to attain the next life; Christianity, on the other hand, calls us to a relationship with a Person, Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the law that we might discover God's love. Even if you are shy about speaking of the good things God has given, you can invite people to church. Make sure you go to a congregation where the gospel is presented and people have an opportunity to accept Christ into their hearts. One of the best times to bring people to church is during the main holidays, Christmas and Easter. During these times people are traditionally compliant with the idea of attending religious services somewhere. So, invite your unsaved loved ones; encourage your neighbors and co-workers. To the Jew, Paul said, "I became like a Jew" and to the Gentiles, like a Gentile. He said, "I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some" (1 Cor 9:20 & 22). To win some you must be winsome, not obnoxious or confrontational. With grace and love in our hearts, we must speak to those who do not know the Lord. We must, as scripture teaches, present the truth in love. One of the most important things in witnessing to people is not saying anything until you hear who they are and what they believe. Listen to them. I once picked up a hitchhiker who told me that he was into yoga and karma. (Karma basically means you reap what you sow, but also includes reincarnation). People use karma as a defense against Christianity. They think they can make themselves perfect thought successive lifetimes. Instead of mocking him, I became "like him," even though I did not believe in karma. After I listened to what he believed, I asked him if he had any bad karma? He said he had plenty. I told him that Jesus died for all my bad karma and that now, because I received Christ's righteousness, I didn't ever have to go through reincarnation or live with bad karma. In five minutes he was saying a sinner's prayer with me and accepting Christ into his heart. The days ahead will see great wonders. In the meantime, let us cultivate a heart for those who do not yet know Christ. Certainly, there is no greater, compelling passion than God's own heart for the lost.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Mercy Triumphs Over Judgment Today, multitudes of fine "Bible-believing" Christians think nothing of venting their anger and bitterness toward America and its sins. Understandably, there has been much to grieve over. We should be deeply troubled, like Lot, with the "conduct of unprincipled men" (2 Pet. 2:7). We should at least be moved to tears and prayer, if not anointed action. Yet the moment we think our warfare is "against flesh and blood," or begin to call for divine wrath against people, we step outside the will of God. Indeed, when Jesus' disciples asked for fire to fall on the Samaritans, He told them plainly, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of" (Luke 9:55). This is exactly our problem: church people do not know the difference between a judgmental spirit and the Spirit of Christ, the Redeemer. Indeed, we are not sent as Old Testament prophets, calling fire and judgment down on sinners. Although America is guilty of many sins, only One is worthy to break the seals and open the book of God's wrath: the slain Lamb standing before God's throne (see Revelation 5). Until He opens the book, we must pray for mercy; until we become lamb-like, our judging is misguided. This does not mean we should minimize the wantonness that has spread through our society. Sin cannot be glossed over or ignored. Yet it is precisely because sin is utterly vile that we must stand before God in intercession. The Life of Christ Intercession is the essence of Christ's life. Indeed, our heavenly Father beheld the depravity of mankind's sin. He did not excuse it. He examined it carefully, and then sent His Son in the form of a man and He died for it. He calls us to pattern our lives after His. You see, we are not minimizing sin when we maximize Christ's mercy. We are not white-washing sin; we are blood-washing it. James tells us, "Mercy triumphs over judgment" (James 2:13). To live the life of mercy plays perfectly into the heart of God. Mercy precisely fulfills the divine purpose: to transform man into the Redeemer's image. Throughout His life, Jesus reached out to people who were left out. He loved those whom others despised and excluded. Yet His practice of dining with sinners offended the Pharisees, and they confronted Jesus' disciples: "Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?" (Matt. 9:11). When Jesus heard the question, He answered, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners" (Matt. 9:12–13). He told the self-righteous to go and learn what God meant when He said, "I desire compassion (mercy), and not sacrifice." A religion without love is an abomination to God. The House of Prayer Jesus said His Father's house would be a "house of prayer for all the nations" (Mark 11:17). True prayer is born of love and comes in the midst of sin and need. It comes not to condemn, but to cover. All nations sin. All cultures have crises. Yet these times can become turning points if, in the time of distress, intercessors cry to God for mercy. Thus, prayer brings redemption from disaster. The church is created, not to fulfill God's wrath, but to complete His mercy. Remember, we are called to be a house of prayer for all nations. Consider passionately this phrase: "prayer for." Jesus taught, "pray for" those who persecute and mistreat you. Paul tells us that God desires all men to be saved. Therefore, he urges that "entreaties and prayers . . . be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority" (1 Tim. 2:1–2). When Job "prayed for" his friends, God fully restored him (Job 42). We are to "pray for" the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6) and "pray for" each other, that we may be healed (James 5:16). "But," you argue, "America is a modern manifestation of ancient Babylon." I disagree. But even if it was, when the Lord exiled Israel to Babylon, He said, "Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you . . . and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare" (Jer. 29:7). Over and over again the command is to pray for, not against; not vindictively, but mercifully; not condemningly, but compassionately, appealing to God to bring forgiveness and redemption. The problem is that too many Christians have become disciples of CNN and TIME rather than followers of Jesus Christ. We think conforming to our political party is the same as attaining the standards of God. It is not. Study Isaiah 53. It reveals in wondrous detail the Savior's nature: Christ numbered Himself with sinners. He interceded for transgressors. He is "with" us and "for" us, even when He must reveal to us our iniquity. But the world sees a church with rocks in its hands looking for adulterers and sinners. We have become the "church of the angry Christians." In the drama that is unfolding in the world today, we have not been playing the role of Christ, but rather the part of the Pharisees. Let us drop the rocks from our hands, then lift our hands, without wrath, in prayer to God (1 Tim. 2:8). Prayer for Our Leaders God does not want us to be judgmental; He wants us prayer-mental. As instinctively as we judge people, we should pray for them instead. Today, countless Christians are angry with their elected officials. We say our anger is "righteous indignation." Really? Jesus expressed "righteous indignation" for, perhaps, three to four hours during His ministry. Once was for the hardness of people's hearts, and the other two times were at the temple when the Father's house was used for something other than redemptive prayer (Mark 11:17). How long has your anger lasted? Are you sure your love has not grown cold? Are you sure you are not seeking to justify a root of bitterness? When Paul called for prayer for kings in 1 Timothy 2, Nero was emperor of Rome. Nero was one of the most corrupt men that ever lived. He did not have a "secret affair," he had public orgies. At night he illuminated his banquets with living torches -- Christians, who were tarred and then set ablaze on poles while Nero and his guests dined! Yet Paul wrote, "Pray for kings and all who are in authority." My concern is not as much with the White House as with the Lord's house! If you are not praying for our leaders, the least you can do is to stop cursing them. As it is written, "You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people" (Acts 23:5). The Father's house is a house of prayer for kings and all in authority. It must also become a source of redemptive prayer for imperfect leaders who sin. I can understand the reason for anger toward our leaders in thinking they are not doing their job. But by not praying for them, we are not doing our job. When you call for God to judge the nations, when judgment comes, remember it begins "with the household of God" (1 Pet. 4:17). To pray for God to judge the nations for its sins actually initiates judgment on the church for its sins! He says, "Judgement will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment" (James 2:13). Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Vision for Our Times
Christ, Our Prefect Mentor
Today, perhaps more than at any time in our nation's history, we stand at a crossroads. Will this nation move toward heaven or hell? Will we see a national awakening or national destruction? I am fully convinced that if we stand for our cities and neighborhoods--if a remnant in the church truly becomes Christlike in prayer, character and motives--we will ultimately see the glory of God fall again upon our land.
Yet, to possess the glory of Christ again through the church means, among other things, that godly leaders will need to mentor and train disciples in the way of the Lord. We simply do not have enough time to all mature spiritually at the current pace. We not only need revelation of the potential of Christ in us, but we need impartation from leaders who are walking in some measure of Christlikeness now (see Rom 1:11; 1 Thess 2:8). We need the spiritual fathers in the church to accept that, while they are not perfect, God can use them to mentor and train pastors, intercessors and the future leaders of the church.
The word "mentor" actually came from Homer's Odyssey. Mentor was the name of a loyal adviser of Odysseus who was entrusted with the education of the king's son, Telemachus. Mentor supposedly became a type of father figure to Telemachus while Odysseus was away fighting the Trojan War. Today, by common usage, Webster defines a mentor as a "wise and trusted counselor or teacher."
Paul captures the feeling of this special relationship between an established leader with his protege, when he wrote Timothy: "For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. I exhort you therefore, be imitators of me" (1 Cor 4:15-16).
A mentor is a spiritual father or mother who trains, guides and disciples an individual for a certain period until, in some tangible way, that disciple receives some measure of the anointing that rests upon his or her mentor. Paul wrote that the outcome of his fathering Timothy was that Timothy (and evidently others) would become "imitators of [Paul]." In this instance, imitation does not mean we are false or without substance, but that an impartation of Christ's life has successfully been multiplied from one to another.
Jesus put it this way: "He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward" (Matt 10:40-41).
A prophet or righteous man carries in his spirit a "reward" of impartable power. It takes humility in a disciple to overlook the weaknesses of a leader and recognize the gift God has placed in him or her for our benefit. This principle of impartation and replication was foundational in the New Testament. It is the reason why Jesus did not leave a thousand apostles; twelve were enough. It's why He only appeared to Paul, instead of appearing to ten thousand others, because one Paul would impart and replicate himself in ten thousand others. The Lord only needed one Paul as long as the apostle understood the principles of mentoring, impartation and replication.
The Book of Hebrews expands this somewhat and urges us to be careful. Listen to what the writer says concerning our training. He admonishes, "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever. Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings" ( Heb 13:7-9).
The goal is to see replicated in us the very life of Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today and forever. We must choose our leaders wisely, considering the outcome of their way of life. Look at how they handle conflict or success; are they still reaching for Christlikeness themselves? If they are, we "imitate their faith." In other words, when we submit to someone, we are seeking to appropriate the heart attitudes and graces that has functionalized the nature of Christ in that leader. We do not want to be like them in the flesh, but to receive the Spirit of Christ that manifests through them. We are not seeking to copy their mannerisms, but to "imitate their faith." We do not lose our unique personalities or distinctions, we receive power and direction.
Remember: John, Peter, Paul and the other apostles all replicated the singular life of Jesus, but Christ emerged through each uniquely. Our yieldedness to a leader or mentor is not to create clones, but spiritual kings who will manifest Christ.
Jesus, Our True Mentor
While teaching is vital to our spiritual growth, Jesus didn't simply teach or inform His disciples of truth. No, He poured Himself into the apostles, training them to actually represent Him. He then assigned them tasks, where they could utilize what they had learned. Mentoring involves teaching, training and practical experience in the field.
We may come to a man or woman we respect and ask for mentoring, seeking to simply possess a better, more effective spiritual life. However, the goal of true mentoring is not blessing, but replication of anointing. Let me explain what I mean by "anointing." The Holy Spirit works in an individual, breaking and shaping their inner man. In time, the inside of that person is reconstructed to the degree that their heart's values align with the ways of Christ. Still, they do not have power in or of themselves. To a certain degree, they have actually died in their inner man; yet in the very area of their spiritual death, Christ now lives. When I say that Christ lives in them, we think of that as a static or "divine potential," but it is much more. Christ is not a doctrine or religion; there is not a different Redeemer in heaven than Christ living in us. When Christ comes into flesh, He still comes to transform the world. Listen well, for when the Spirit of Christ manifests in our world, He takes over our hearts and tongues and, looking to the Father, He prays,
"Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired,
But a body Thou hast prepared for Me;
In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
Thou hast taken no pleasure.
Then I said, 'Behold, I have come
(In the roll of the book it is written of Me)
To do Thy will, O God" (Heb 10:5b-7).
Just as Christ needed a personal, physical body "to do [God's] will" in the first century, today, through the Holy Spirit He descends into the church, His spiritual body. He states again that He has come, not to fulfill ritual and religious obligations, but to transform earth with heaven. The sphere of influence may be as small as a family or as large as a nation, but the anointing upon an individual is the manifest power of the living Christ. He has come in "a body Thou has prepared for Me" and His declared purpose is "to do Thy will, O God."
The Need for Christlike Leaders
In my life, men like Andrew Murray and Watchman Nee served as my mentors. The first Christian book I ever read was "Release of the Spirit" by Watchman Nee; the book that most changed my life was "Like Christ," by Andrew Murray--although all of Andrew Murray's books deeply impacted my life.
Both of these men, together with C.S. Lewis, added unique dimensions to my spiritual life that, apart from them, I would not have otherwise attained. I often would take their books, kneel at the foot of my bed, and unashamedly devour their words. Of course, my primary study was the word of God, especially the words of Jesus. However, these individuals taught me to hunger for God and thirst for righteousness, and that Christ was the same in these latter days as in the former.
However, they did not teach me about unity in the body of Christ or spiritual warfare. They supplied a grace for an area in my soul, but they only prepared me for the anointing that the Lord had for me, which was to see the church united in Christlikeness. This anointing for unity is something the Lord has personally been working in a small number of leaders around the world. Yet, together with these men, the Holy Spirit is pioneering the healing of the church and the transformation of our cities.
It is this anointing, this empowerment of Christ within me, that I seek to impart to others in our online training class (In Christ's Image Training). The Lord has deeply impressed me that I must pour myself into the lives of those He brings. The vision before us is to see in every city, Christlike pastors and intercessors who are standing before God, laying their lives down for His purpose. This is the hope and vision of our times:
"For behold, darkness will cover the earth,
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you,
And His glory will appear upon you.
And nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising" (Is 60:2-3)

And kings to the brightness of your rising" (Is 60:2-3)

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
From Setback to Setup There has been a subtle spiritual attack -- a cloud of unbelief -- that has settled on a number of people. Some folks have not even noticed how unbelief has imperceptibly crept into their thought life; others have been in major battles, suffering from relentless questions concerning the validity of God's promises. People are finding themselves in circumstances that are far removed from what they hoped or envisioned. Even if this spirit is not affecting you personally, it may be working against your loved ones or isolated members in your church community. If we look at the heroes of faith in the Scriptures, we will find people that, without fail, found themselves in circumstances that were unlike anything their faith expected. If we pursue our investigation, we will also see that it was in the "unexpected place" that God established character in His servant, which in turn released power that fulfilled destiny. Consider Paul's letter to the Thessalonians. He wrote of his "great desire" to see the church and actually tried to go to this city more than once. Yet, he wrote, "Satan thwarted us" (1Thess 2:17-18). Is the devil so powerful that he can thwart the will of God? Of course not, yet obviously God allows the enemy to take, what seems like, certain advantages against His servants. Paul clearly experienced a setback. This is the arena where the spirit of unbelief seeks to stop our forward progress in God. However, here's what the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart: If we become Christlike in the crisis, God will transform our setbacks into setups. God will use the very thing that seemed like a disadvantage to release destiny. The Unenvisioned Place Paul must have received his sense of direction from the Lord. Certainly, he thought that God was telling him to travel, plant churches, set in ministers, evangelize and then revisit the churches; more often, God actually led Paul into jail, not journeys. Although he felt thwarted and buffeted by the enemy, God was watching. There, in dark, mildewed cells, Paul allowed the character of Christ to emerge: singing hymns at midnight, rejoicing always, praying without ceasing. In the crucible of the unenvisioned place, Paul's character was frequently refined. Inspired by the substance of Christ's actual life, which he found in the unexpected place, Paul wrote some of the most powerful, liberating words ever penned by man. Paul became Christlike in the crisis and God turned the setback into a setup for a greater purpose. The early church thought that Christ would return in their lifetimes. They did not know their words would touch lives for nearly 2000 years! If Paul hadn't been thwarted, we probably would not have the epistles he wrote to the Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and to Philemon. Or consider the apostle John, exiled to a lonely life on the Isle of Patmos. If anyone was a "people person," it would have been John. Yet, there he was isolated on a deserted island. He could have become bitter. Certainly, this was not what God wanted for this man, the last one who had been with Jesus Himself? Yet, if he had not been exiled, we would not have been given the majesty of the Revelation of John. Or what of Joseph -- betrayal, slavery and jail was not what he envisioned, but it's what the Holy Spirit used to transform a dreamer into a powerful man of God. Or did David expect after being anointed by the prophet Samuel, that he would find himself in a wilderness, a fugitive for seven years? No, but it was here, in the injustice of the wilderness years, that God forged in David and his followers the greatest sense of unity the Old Testament would attain. So also with you. Your circumstances may not be what you envisioned, but they are no obstacle for God. Paul learned that God was fully capable to reveal Himself, not only in the expected places, but in that which was unexpected as well. Paul wrote, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place" (2 Cor 2:14). He is there with you. As you exercise your faith, as you rest, trusting in Him, do what Christ would do in your circumstances. Unbelief will flee as you become Christlike in the crisis. God will turn your setback into a setup that releases destiny.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Ask of Me
The Great Revolt
As though Jesus were reading a news summary of recent years, His prophecies of two thousand years ago clearly describe our times. Thus, we are compelled to discern accurately the significant era in which we live. Indeed, of the many prophetic fulfillments of our day, one in particular rises with undimmed candor. I am speaking of what the Bible calls the "apostasy." Recall Paul's warning:
"Let no one in any way deceive you, for [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first" (2 Thess. 2:3).
The apostasy has traditionally been described as a time of deception and massive falling away from authentic faith in Christ. Depending upon your specific view, sometime before or after the apostasy the rapture of the church will occur. However, the concept of apostasy as merely "a falling away" is incomplete. The original Greek word for apostasy, apostasia, when used in classical Greek literature, meant "a political revolt." From this we understand that the end-time apostasy is not just a time of sinfulness or large scale backsliding; it is actually a time of open defiance and warlike aggression against godliness in general. In other words, the apostasia is a political insurrection against the laws of God.
This interpretation of the apostasy is not an isolated view. The New International Version, Revised Standard Version, Phillips Translation, and New English Bible all render apostasia as "the rebellion." The Living Bible interprets the apostasy as the "great rebellion," while the Jerusalem Bible assigns a proper name to this era: "The Great Revolt."
As we consider the fulfillment of so many other prophecies, let us carefully observe: mankind has entered an era of open revolt and outright rebellion -- an apostasy -- against the moral standards of God.
Today, we are witnessing a large-scale rebellion against traditional moral values. Indeed, this brazen attitude has had a name for itself since the 1960s: "the sexual revolution." And "revolution" is exactly what it is. Our moral standards have not only been challenged, they have been replaced by a non-standard. Indeed, the great rebellion seeks to legitimize and then mainstream every perversity known to man!
There is much to say (and pray) on behalf of those trapped in perversity yet who hate sin's effect on their lives. We must be compassionate toward them and not strident; many are sitting in our churches afraid to even speak of their need lest they be disowned. I am not speaking with reference to the victims of this advance, but of those who are engaged in a mutiny against the sway of God in our nation. They argue the only standard Americans have is the standard of individual freedom. In their view, freedom itself is the "god" ruling America, with self-indulgence sitting as prime minister.
Yet the God of Heaven desires the nations of the world. Though the apostasy will certainly intensify, we must remember it is only one of many prophecies unfolding in our day. The same divine Word that warned of the Great Rebellion also assures us that ultimately God's kingdom shall crush the demonic influences in our world (Dan. 2:44).
Yes, evil shall mature into full rebellion, but good is also ripening into full Christlikeness! (See Matt. 13:40-43; John 17:22-23.) True, the apostasy shall reveal the nature of Satan, but the true church shall manifest the nature of Christ! Our King is not only coming in the skies, He is coming "to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed" (2 Thess. 1:10). What seems to be Satan's hour, full of darkness and rebellion, is simply the opportunity for grace to abound to the glory of God in the church!
Seated with Christ!
The Second Psalm, perhaps more than any other Bible text, accurately portrays the spirit of our time. Indeed, it also proclaims our correct response to Satan's bold advance. Although it was quoted by the early church (Acts 4:25-26), God has set its full realization for the end of this age.
"Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!'" (Ps. 2:1-3).
Although "the rebellion" reveals itself worldwide in many ways, in America many of our leaders have certainly been counseling together "against the Lord" in their decisions. We see it in the efforts to mainstream perversion. Again, our anti-censorship laws, like armor plating, in many ways now defend sin against the Lord. The virulent cry of those in rebellion hammers relentlessly upon the fetters of moral restraint!
This railing against God has not gone unnoticed in Heaven. Is the Almighty confounded? Has fear concerning recent developments gripped the Lord's heart? No. The Psalm continues:
"He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury" (Ps. 2:4-5).
The Lord laughs at the foolishness of those in full revolt, as they imagine God's judgments cannot reach them. Why then, you ask, does the Lord delay His full judgment? In part, the Lord waits for us, His church. For while the world shall demand, and receive, the reign of hell, the goal of the praying church shall be for the reign of Heaven.
You see, all prophecies shall be fulfilled: not only those concerning evil but also those concerning righteousness. The Lord has purposed to have a "bride without spot or wrinkle" and a "kingdom" of wheat without tares. The transformation of the church will be fulfilled as surely as every other prophecy occurring before the Lord's return.
Thus, He commands us to sit with Him in the completeness of His purpose. He requires us not only to live without fear but to stand in prayer for these very nations that defy Him!
Listen again to this Second Psalm, for in the very context of worldwide rebellion against the Lord, it records the most remarkable discourse: "Ask of Me," the Father says to the Son, "and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession" (Ps. 2:8).
As Christ's church, we do not deserve a national revival, but Jesus does! As His representatives, in His name and virtue, we ask of the Father for America! We stand in prayer for the church to become one, filled with Christ followers from every ethnic background! Our prayer is not only an act of faith, it is an act of obedience: we are commanded to ask God for the nations!
Therefore, while the perverse strive toward complete rejection of God, even as their mocking words fill the air, the Almighty's unchangeable promise to His Son (and by extension, His church as Christ's body) is "Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations!''
As violence, New Age religions and witchcraft flourish in our schools, ask God for this nation. While all restraint is removed from the entertainment industry, ask God for this nation! While perversity dresses in normalcy, ask God for America! While abortion remains protected by laws, ask God with confidence, with boldness, and with faith for our land! Where you see injustice in any form, ask God for His kingdom to manifest on earth!
"He who sits in the heavens laughs."
Put away fear and discouragement; repent of fretting. The more we accept our place in the divine plan, the more we shall laugh at the enemy's plans. The faith that relentlessly asks God, pleases God. Now, as the fullness of the times unfolds, as the world around us clothes itself in prophetic fulfillments, let us put away unbelief; let us repent for withdrawal. It is a time to boldly ask of God. As He has promised: He will give the nations as an inheritance to Christ!
Let's pray: Lord Jesus, how blessed we are that as evil matures into full rebellion, Your church matures into full Christlikeness. Teach me to pray for my inheritance, my nation. Use me to stand in the gap until my people become Your people.

Arise Shine! |
When I consider the darkness unfolding in the world - the wars and rumors of wars, the abounding iniquity, the failing of men’s hearts for fear, the rebellion against the Lord, etc. - it occurs to me that the staging of this backdrop of darkness is nearly in place. What I mean is that, according to Isaiah 60:1-3, it is during this very time of darkness that God is preparing His people for a baptism of light! Beloved, God does not want us to despair but to prepare. |

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
When Christ Is Formed in Us
The intercessory prayer of the Apostle Paul was not just a prayer for protection or for a few blessings to rest upon the saints. He said, "My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you" (Gal. 4:19). Paul was "in labor" to bring forth the actual spirit of Christ within the church. Let me say it again: his goal was Christ, not merely Christianity! Any mother can relate to the focused intensity of labor pains. This was how the apostle prayed for the church, as though he were giving spiritual birth and would continue to be in labor until the person, power and nature of Christ Jesus Himself was functionally formed in the disciples. We know "theologically" that Jesus is within us. But has He taken over our form? It is one thing to accept Him as our source of help in time of need; quite another dimension to have Him dwell in us as God in His earthly temple. We must realize that Jesus wants more control over us than an occasional thank-you during life or merely the right to our souls at death. Our Lord desires to be FORMED in us -- take our form and be manifested through us. We are to literally, substantially and physically become Jesus' body upon the earth. Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father" (John 14:12). It is one thing to have faith in Jesus; it is quite another thing to have the faith of Jesus, where He expresses His assurance of the miraculous through us! It is marvelous when we share with Him isolated moments of loving fellowship, but it is something else when His love, after conquering us, conquers and liberates our world around us! We must perceive the awesome connection, the flow of power, the oneness Jesus came to establish between Himself and His body. Though He is not on earth in His own earthly body, He is on earth in our bodies! There is no separation between Jesus and His believing church! (See Rom. 8:38-39) A Body God Has Prepared In the tenth chapter of Hebrews we see again, in principle, this reality: "Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, 'Sacrifice and offering You have not desired, but a body You have prepared for Me; in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure.' Then I said, 'Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God'" (Heb. 10:5-7). When the Spirit of Christ comes into the world, He comes not just to exchange an old religion for a new one. Rather, He comes to inhabit, actually take the form of man, and "to do [God's] will" within us! We have been "set apart" by God not just to become good people, but to have Christ's love, His faith and His power revealed through us. Paul urged us to be "transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Rom. 12:2). Mark's gospel tells us that Jesus "appeared in a different form" to two disciples (Mark 16:12). It is not unlike Jesus to take a different form. Jesus took over Paul's form, Peter's form, John's form -- His disciples lost the limitations of who they were prior to Christ's indwelling them. Yes, each retained his unique personality, appearance and history, but even there the influence and fullness of Christ could be seen. They actually became His body, His temple, His bride, His branches -- the very extensions of Himself in the earth! Jesus wants to take over our form as well. He wants to give us a new identity in Him. This is what Paul meant when he wrote, "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God" (Gal. 2:20). From the moment you were saved, another person, Christ Jesus Himself, entered your life! The objective of Christianity is not merely to get you to stop smoking and going to clubs, but to fill your life with Jesus! This is why Paul's concern was not simply a prayer for the Galatians' physical or financial well-being. He knew God's plans were for Christ to come forth in them. Paul was in labor, travail, to give birth to Christ in the church. At the same time, it was not really Paul who was in labor; it was Christ within Paul who desired to come forth in the Galatians. For too long we have looked to men to guide us, but as Jesus is truly formed in His people, we will not look to mere men for constant care and guidance. For Jesus Himself wants to empower us and lead us on into His glory. This must be the goal and prayer of every church leader: to see Christ take over the church. We must go beyond possessing doctrines about Jesus and become a dwelling place for Jesus. We must not cease our pursuit until Christ is formed in us. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
True Revival
People often ask me, "When true revival comes, what will it look like?" To me, a revival is not legitimized merely by the increasing numbers of signs and wonders. Moses, Elijah and Elisha all had great signs accompanying their lives, but signs do not equate to revival. Israel was often awed by manifestations, yet supernatural wonders never brought the nation to repentance.
What about powerful and exciting church services? Personally, I do not believe church services every night, even if they last until midnight, are themselves a sign of revival. Increased services and manifestations may accompany revival, but they are not, in themselves, evidence of revival.
What, then, should revival look like? On an individual, person-by-person level, a true revival looks like people being empowered to become like Jesus.
I do not mean that they have merely become emotional or happy or animated about Jesus - as important as these things are. I am saying they actually received power to become like Him. Deep in their spirit an awakening occurs and they see Christ not only as the payment for their sins, but as the pattern for their lives.
This is what happened at Pentecost. Fearful, prideful disciples were transformed into humble, powerful replicas of Jesus. They spoke the Word of God with boldness - just like Jesus. They healed people, just like Jesus; and they were willing to suffer for Christ, just as He willingly suffered for them.
Today, we do not have the fire of the Holy Ghost, we have Casper, the friendly ghost. With Casper, everyone goes to heaven. Casper cuddles, but never convicts. He never calls people into conformity with Christ.
You see, true revival is a hot lava-flow of courage being poured into the backbone of a once defeated people. It is radiant faces, purified souls and holy lips. It is people becoming like Jesus.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
June 10, 2022
Time to Learn Righteousness
"At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness" (Isa. 26:9).
Fear Among the Nations
There is trepidation among the nations, and indeed there should be. Political leaders strike poses of confidence, yet express anxious whispers and dread when they are alone:
What is happening in our world? Will it get worse?
No one really knows the outcome of this time. But here is what is occurring worldwide: Over the past year the veil of deceit and subterfuge that hid the corruption in many nations is being lifted. God is exposing corruption, whether it is rooted in Wall Street or among politicians or leaders in the church.
The sense of privilege, that one can live without accountability either to God or to the law of man, is being judged by the Lord. There are no special people who are exempt.
One should not assume that things are worse today than ever before. I don't believe so. There have always been corrupt leaders whose practices were masked with deceit. It is in this season that the Lord is peeling off the mask.
This is not a bad thing, although it will be very bad if leaders do not embrace righteousness as the way out. The fact that these things are being exposed is a good thing. If we respond correctly, it means that a more honest set of leaders will arise to replace those who were corrupted. It means that, if we submit to God, our economy and culture will turn a corner into a time of renewed blessing.
However, if we resist, if we persist in deceitful ways, we should not expect God to bless us.
Thus, it is imperative to discern this season. We are in a time of increasing judgment. The world and its structures are in a collision course with the Kingdom of God.
We have underestimated the authority and function of the Holy Spirit; we have assumed He has come only to inspire or comfort. Yet, Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit comes into the world, He comes also to confront and convict the world "concerning sin and righteousness and judgment" (John 16:8).
You see, God has an agenda, a grand plan, and it is not just to bless and prosper us as we live mostly self-centered lives. His ultimate goal is to see the kingdoms of this world become the "kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ" (Rev. 11:15). Thus, Jesus commands us to pray, "Thy kingdom come. . . . on earth as it is in heaven" (Matt. 6:10).
Remember, Jesus' message was "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matt. 4:17). We are in the season of the kingdom. We either repent and change our ways so they conform to righteousness, or we face the consequences.
If we don't repent, God renders a decision accordingly. He judges us. His motive is still to redeem, but He will not refrain from judging the sin that rules us. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. This is not the season to try to negotiate with the Almighty. The only option He gives us is to humble ourselves and pray. It is time to seek His face and aggressively turn from our evil ways. If we would have healing in our land, we must take the path the Lord provides.
The Consuming Fire
Thus, speaking of the last days, the Lord warns, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven" (Heb. 12:26). God is focused on more than blessing a few people here and there. He is coming to shake and subdue the cultures of man. Hebrews continues:
"This expression, 'Yet once more,' denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain" (v. 27).
Two things are occurring simultaneously: God is shaking what can be shaken, and He is establishing His kingdom, which cannot be shaken. We must migrate out of trusting in man and enter into the unshakeable life of the Kingdom of God.
Hebrews concludes:
"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire" (vv. 28-29).
Let us focus on this reality: God is a consuming fire. Not long ago a revival tried to emerge amidst great controversy. To the shock of many, God exposed the hidden sin in a particular church leader. To what degree this revival itself was true or false is still debated, but one thing is true: millions of people nightly joined via Christian television praying and calling forth in unison, "Fire! Fire! God pour out your fire."
What did we suppose, that "fire" in God's dictionary means blessing? Or even healing? No. Fire means purification. It consumes and purifies the sacrifice – indeed, it consumes everything that can be burned. This one prayer was certainly answered: when the body of Christ prayed for God's fire, chaff in the church, starting with leadership was the first to ignite. And then the fire spread into the world systems, exposing the corruption and greed.
While many hope that the rapture will rescue them from tribulation, it will rescue no one from the fire of God. Recall, my friend, Paul's word: the day of the Lord will be "revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work" (see 1 Cor. 3:13-15).
"For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1 Pet. 4:17).
Judgment begins first with the household of God. Fire came to the church first, and it has only just begun to burn.
My advice is that we stop judging others and take inventory of our own condition. Where we have sinned, we humble ourselves before the Almighty. By humbling ourselves, I mean that we confess our secret sins, the areas of our soul's bondage – our fears, lusts and deceits, those things we are most ashamed of – and bring our sin to the cleansing light of God's grace. My counsel is that we not put this off for another day, but we humble ourselves now, passionately and thoroughly.
Do not look for shortcuts; do not seek to justify yourself to God. The judgments of God are in the land. It is time to learn righteousness.

Learn Righteousness:
In Christ's Image Training
Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Where Every Prayer Is Answered
By Francis Frangipane We should not assume that simply because we are Christians we have learned the secret of abiding in Christ. Jesus said, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you" (John 15:7). To abide in Him is to live in ceaseless fusion with His passions. It is to have found the habitation of God where no barrier or shadow exists between our weakness and His sufficiency, or between our yearning and His fulfillment. Considering the magnitude of God's promises, it is actually a misfortune that most of us have no more than a few minutes of devotions each day and a church service or two each week. The shelter of God is not only a place to visit God; it is also a place to dwell with Him. For those who dwell with God, His presence is not merely our refuge; it is a permanent address. When we are abiding in Christ, even as He and the Father are One, so we become one with Him. It is His life, His virtue, His wisdom, and His Spirit that sustain us. We become perfectly weak, unable to resist Him. Like the Son's relationship with the Father, so we do nothing from our own initiative unless it is something we see Him do. If He should require of us nothing more than our love, we are well content. Jesus is our first choice, not our last resort. To those who have entered the abiding place, our questions are not about doctrines or pronouncing the right prayer at an altar. We have found Him whom our soul loves. We are constrained and guided by His voice, surrendered and imprisoned in His love. He says, "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret place of the steep pathway, let me see your form, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your form is lovely" (Song of Sol. 2:14). This communion of heart between Christ and His bride is a stronghold. It is God's shelter from the distresses and distractions of life. Here He tells us what to pray; here our supplications are answered. Yet in spite of our flaws and the weakness of our prayers, to Him our voice is sweet; in spite of our lowliness, our form is lovely in His eyes. In the Bosom of Christ What are we to Jesus? Has He given us life only to test His creative skills? No. We exist for the fulfillment of His love. "Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the uttermost" (John 13:1 NASB, Margin). You are loved by the Lord. He appreciates you. Jesus personally died for each of us; He prays to the Father for us by name. You say, "But I am full of fears, wrought with failure." He says, "Father, I want them with Me -- these you've given Me -- so that they can see My glory" (John 17:24, TLB). Christ appreciates us because we are a gift to Him from the Father. Jesus knows that the Father gives only good gifts (James 1:17). Yes, we are imperfect, but Christ sees us in our ultimate completeness. Seeing the end from the beginning, He joyfully receives us. And what kind of gift are we? Are we a reward, or perhaps a challenge? No. We are His bride. The glance of our eyes makes His heart beat faster (Song of Sol. 4:9). And it is here, in the love we share with Jesus, that we are secured in the shelter of God. Lord, forgive me for the inconsistency of my commitment to You. Master, with all that I am, I desire unbroken fellowship with You. Even now, shape me to fit perfectly into Your presence, that I might dwell in oneness with You, that I might live empowered by the impulse of Your will. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
To Seek His Face | |
By Francis Frangipane You say, "But we have humbled ourselves and prayed; we are turning from our wicked ways. Why has He not healed our land?" (See 2 Chron. 7:14.) I'm sure He has heard our prayers, but perhaps we desire our healing more than we desire God Himself. Thus there is yet one more imperative that 2 Chronicles 7:14 calls us to fulfill. The Lord said, "...and seek My face." Beloved, when the Lord called David to seek His face, David responded, "Your face, O Lord, I shall seek" (Ps. 27:8). This is the essence of one who has "a heart after God." We seek God for His heart, not merely His hand. We have asked Him to extend His hand, to touch and heal us. But the Lord, in His great love for us, desires we seek His face. Thus, the Holy Spirit bids us to draw near to God. His Word promises that, as we draw near to Him, He will Himself draw near to us. It is the nearness of His Spirit that descends upon us and, through us, heals our land. Again the Lord speaks, "I will go away and return to My place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me" (Hos 5:15). Together, using the very words provided us by Hosea as our template, the Lord even gives us words with which we respond, "Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but he will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him" (Hos 6:1-2). Yes, even the prophet Hosea encourages us with his words as well, "So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth'' (Hos. 6:3). Is this not the very cry of your heart, that the living presence of God would saturate the dryness of your soul? Come to us, O Lord, like the rain watering the earth! Therefore, we conclude that it is time to seek God. We urge every pastor to guide their church and every parent to lead their family into an attitude of seeking God. Consecrate a room in your church or home and call it the "tent of meeting." It is right, beloved, and timely, to seek after God. "Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, a good distance from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting which was outside the camp" (Exod. 33:7). Everyone who sought the Lord entered the tent of meeting. Dear friends, the Holy Spirit shall help us. For the mission of the Spirit is, summarily, to lead us into the presence of Jesus. And this He will do until Christ is as real to us as the world was when we were sinners. The Promise of God Is it possible that we can be delivered of a superficial life? Yes. For the Spirit He has given us, dwells within us, and He "searches all things, even the depths of God" (1 Cor. 2:10). If you are weary of a life without God's fullness, then seeking the Lord may be a turning point in your walk with Him. Our hope rests in the integrity of His immutable word: "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you" (Jer. 29:12-14). Let us pray: Lord Jesus, my soul yearns and even longs for Your courts. Guide me into Your holy presence, dear Lord. Let me find You again in a new way. I cannot live without Your constant love. I am desperate for You, Jesus. Restore my longing for You until I find You, and in finding You, abandon myself totally into Your love. Amen.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES

Love: God’s Preservative
By Francis Frangipane There will be a time when each of us will stand before Jesus Christ, and He will open a door called "reality past." There we shall gaze into the days of our earthly existence. Jesus will not only commend our lives in a general way, but He will point to specific things we did. Rejoicing together with us, He will say, "Well done!" Perhaps there was a special act of kindness that turned a bitter person back toward God, or perhaps you overcame your fears and led a person to Christ whom God then used to win thousands. In the Latin translation of the Bible, the phrase "well done" is rendered "Bravo!" How would you like Jesus to say that to you? Imagine Him with His arm around your shoulder, saying, "Bravo! You were just an average person, but you trusted Me; you learned to love without fear. Look how many hearts we touched together!" To be so pleasing to Christ that He rejoices over the life we give Him should be our highest goal. Love in the Midst of Pressure Yet it is here, in a world filled with evils, devil-possessed people, and conflicts of all sorts, that we must find the life of Christ. In fact, Jesus warned about the Great Tribulation; one meaning of the word tribulation is "pressure." Even today, is not stress and pressure increasing on people? In spite of these tensions God has called us to love extravagantly. If we do not counteract the stress of this age with love, we will crumble beneath the weight of offenses. Have you ever seen a supermarket shopping cart full of bent food cans? Most have lost their labels. You can buy a half dozen for a dollar or two. Often what has happened is that the atmospheric pressure outside the can was greater than the pressure inside and the can collapsed. It could not withstand the pressure. Similarly, we must have an aggressive force pushing from the inside out that is equal to the pressures trying to crumble us from the outside. We need the pressure of God’s love pouring out through us, neutralizing the pressures of hatred and bitterness in the world. Love is God’s preservative. It surrounds our souls with a power greater than the power of the devil and the world around us. It keeps us balanced. It insulates us against the hostility that exists in our world. Love is the shelter of the Most High; it is the substance of God’s stronghold. Lord, forgive me for looking for some other means of protection besides Your love. Truly, pressures have increased on my life; stress multiplies daily in my world. Lord, grant me the eternal equalizer: love. Grant that I would walk in such surrender to You that the power of Your love would unceasingly emanate from my soul. Amen. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The True Pattern | |
By Francis Frangipane It is one thing to be able to discern that which is false, but it is of much greater value to know the pattern of the true. Thus the apostle Paul uses chapter 3 of Philippians to reveal his attitude of heart. In so doing, he gives us the pattern of what we should seek as Christians. After presenting his remarkable pedigree -- an Israelite by birth; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness defined in the Law, found blameless -- Paul then renounces the very things he attained, saying: "But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ" (v. 7). For the mature man or woman, no position among men can replace the "surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus [our] Lord." Even the most amazing of achievements are reduced to "rubbish so that [we] may gain Christ" (v. 8). Paul was a man obsessed with knowing Christ as the source of his righteousness (v.9). Paul clearly defines his purpose, with was knowing Christ! At the same time as Paul is revealing the inner workings of a man after God's heart, he admonishes us to "observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us" (v. 17). Note: Paul was not alone in his pursuit. He says, "Observe those [plural] who walk according to the pattern you see in us" (v. 17). There were others, perhaps many, who walked with God with the same passions as Paul. Yet, the Lord used Paul to be template of a new creation man. Again, Paul says, "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead" (vv. 10-11). There is a difference between possessing a religion about Christ and actually knowing Christ. He Himself is the way, the truth, and the life. To know Him is eternal life, and to live in fellowship with Him is to partake of the nectar of Heaven. Yet knowing Christ also means knowing the “fellowship of His sufferings” as we lay down our lives for the redemption of others. Remember, if we suffer with Him we reign also with Him. Participating in the fellowship of His sufferings is also part of knowing Him. Paul continued, "Not that I have already . . . become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus" (Phil. 3:12). Again we are looking at the pattern God seeks for each of us. A mature Christian is one who knows there is more to possess in our pursuit of God! Finally, Paul concludes, saying, "One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (vv.13-14). What specifically did Paul choose to "forget"? He let go of the wounds, forgave the offenses, and released to God the disappointments of yesterday. Wounds in people lives are real. Yet if our eyes are on the prize, our wounds will not keep us from reaching for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! Many teachers will come and go throughout your life. They will have different styles and unique gifts and graces. But you are looking for the attitudes Paul described in this chapter. Look for those who are pressing toward the prize of possessing Christ's likeness. Remember: In these times of deception, accusation and false discernment, let us observe those who walk after the pattern of Paul. Let us discern the influence of Jesus in those who lead us. As we clearly see the Lord, let us follow those who follow Christ. Adapted from Francis Frangipane's book, The Days of His Presence, available with special pricing at www.arrowbookstore.com.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Follow Those Who Follow Christ
By Francis Frangipane "Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us." - Philippians 3:17 Paul faced a major problem in the first century. False teachers had slipped into the church. The apostle warned the Philippians, and us by extension, to recognize the differences between a true man or woman of God and a deceptive teacher or prophet. Without any sense of false humility, Paul declared that both his vision and his spiritual attitude were examples for us to follow. He instructs us in our powers of discernment to look for and "observe" leaders who exemplify the centerpiece of God's purpose, which is to possess the likeness of Christ. The context in which Paul wrote describes both his self-righteousness before he found Christ and his utter abandonment of fleshly confidence afterward. We will study these verses carefully. For in an age of increasing deception, not everyone who cries "truth, truth" is speaking in defense of conformity to Jesus. "Beware of the Dogs" Paul began his discourse by revealing three distinct types of false teachers. He warned, "Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision" (Phil. 3:2). These three each have their modern counterparts. Some believe that Paul was using three phrases to describe one type of false teacher, but it's my opinion that he was speaking of three different ways people become false. The first group Paul identified as "the dogs." The phrase "beware of the dog(s)" is familiar to us today. It means there is a vicious animal here. In Paul's day, most dogs were scavengers that ran in packs. One could find dozens of canines eating off the rubbish heaps outside cities, their faces bent downward as they sniffed and rooted out garbage to feed upon. Today's church has similar people -- fault-finders who incessantly and self-righteously feed upon the garbage and failures of the human condition. Paul is saying to beware of those who always have something negative to say, who are continually judging or slandering others. If you listen to them, you will become like them. Their words will rob you of vision, leave you without joy, and drain you of energy. Paul wasn't saying, of course, to completely ignore what is wrong in people. We need discernment. Let me state plainly: there are serious doctrinal errors and sins in the modern church. But when you observe a pattern of angry, self-righteous faultfinding in a person -- when their primary view always seems negative -- beware. Remember, Jesus warned of the Pharisees who "trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt" (Luke 18:9). Beware when your teacher must frequently tear down others to lift himself up. "Evil Workers" Paul next warned against the "evil workers." He describes this group briefly in the first chapter of the Philippians. These individuals do, in fact, proclaim Christ, but they do so from "envy . . . strife . . . selfish ambition" rather than from love (vv. 15-17). For them building a church is a competitive endeavor, a business. James also underscores this problem, saying, "For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing" (James 3:16). Part of Paul's efforts as an apostle was to build Christ-centered unity among Christians. However, the "evil workers" were self-centered rather than Christ-centered. Before we follow any leader, we truly ought to see the influence of Christ growing in that individual's character. Look to hear the pastor speak, at least occasionally, of his or her vision of attaining Christlikeness. Look for evidences of humility; listen to hear his burden for prayer, and see how he cultivates unity with other Christian churches. If your pastor or leader is growing in these values, then that individual is also growing in trustworthiness. As he or she seeks to follow Christ, the fruit of their ministry will, most likely, be healthy. "The Judaizers" The third warning was aimed against the "false circumcision" (Phil. 3:2). These were the Jewish Christians who, when they were saved, tried to make Christianity an extension of Judaism. This last teaching was the most dangerous because it seemed the most plausible. The essence of this error was that Christ's atonement was not enough for salvation; you also had to keep the whole system of Mosaic Laws to be saved. Today people continue to import religious obligations into the salvation experience. In exposing and warning against the influence of the "false circumcision," Paul set a firewall against the bondage of legalistic requirements for salvation. And while the way is indeed narrow that leads to life, the way is a person: Jesus Christ. We do not arrive at our goal by keeping laws but by entrusting ourselves to the keeping of Christ. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
To Walk With God
In the days ahead many will be stirred by proclamations, both true and false, of ominous events set for fulfillment on specific dates. However, we are not being prepared for a "date" but for a marriage. It is the depth of our day-by-day relationship with Christ that defines walking with God at the end of the age.
The confidence we have as we face tomorrow is rooted in the quality of our walk with God today. Thus, as these days unfold, the way of the Lord will be revealed for what it truly is: a narrow path upon which we walk with God. It is an indisputable truth: the only way to prepare for Jesus' second coming is to faithfully obey what He commanded in His first coming---and His first command was "Follow Me" (John 1:43).
What does it mean to "follow" Jesus but that we walk faithfully with Him throughout our life. The fact is, we anticipate the nearness of the Lord, but we do not know when He might return. While I believe we are very near to the end of the age, still it may be many years before some of the unfulfilled prophecies come to pass. Regardless, our call is to follow the Lamb---to walk with Him every day.
If we study the Scriptures, we will see that, from the beginning, the Lord always provided for those who walked with Him in His presence. No matter what occurred in the world, God's servants were not held hostage to the fears and anxieties of their times. Their walk with God prepared them for all things.
Jesus said the days prior to His return would be as the days of Noah. Let us look again at Noah's life. God did not give Noah a predetermined date specifying when the flood would come. The Lord gave Noah two things: a task, which was to build the ark, and time to get the job done.
The Almighty could have destroyed wickedness in a heartbeat. Yet, the Scriptures tell us that the "patience of God kept waiting . . . during the construction of the ark" (1 Pet. 3:20). The priority of God was focused not on what was to be destroyed but on what was being built.
Too many of us are so focused on what the devil is doing that we fail to see what God is doing. The focus of the Lord is not on how dark evil becomes but how Christlike the church becomes! There is a grace streaming from God's heart. In the midst of great darkness, the Lord has purposed to bring glory to Himself and protection to His people.
God told Noah to build the ark. When the task was completed, then the flood came. We also have a task, a vision from God: build the house of the Lord and participate in the harvest of the nations. Jesus did not say, "When evil gets worse the harvest begins." He said, "when the crop permits . . . the harvest has come" (Mark 4:29).
Certainly, God's highest plans will not be diverted by the increase of wickedness. One may say that God's justice demands He destroy the wicked! Yes, but His nature demands His good plans and promises concerning His glory in the church first be fulfilled!
Look again at Noah. Noah lived at a time when "every intent of the thoughts of his [man's] heart was only evil continually." His world, like ours, "was corrupt in the sight of God, and . . . filled with violence" (Gen. 6:5, 11).
Yet, during these same days, "Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). What was unique about Noah? How did he find the preserving grace of God in his life? The Scriptures tell us, "Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God" (Gen. 6:9).
I love this Scripture: Noah walked with God. What does it mean to walk with God? It means that we stay yielded to His Word and attentive to His presence. Though we do not see Him, we know Him. We have found our place of security in the Almighty. Our peace comes from Him, not people, places, or things.
The name Noah means "rest." As the Lord's servant, Noah not only knew his mission in life, but he found His place of rest in God alone. Step-by-step, day-by-day, Noah lived in the Lord's presence. Noah walked with God and was intimate with Him.
But to know someone deeply does not happen quickly. It takes time to penetrate through the veil of unknowing into the place of enduring friendship and intimacy. This is why walking with God is so pleasing to Him, for it creates a time-tested relationship between God and man. We no longer are controlled by the opinions, criticisms, and approval of the world around us. Only as our walk with God matures does intimacy with the Creator truly begin and peace about the future increase.
Consider Abraham. Abraham was called the friend of God (see Isa. 41:8). When he was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless" (Gen. 17:1). Walking with God leads to purity and intimate friendship with God. It is the source of becoming blameless.
Abraham's descendants, Isaac and Jacob, also walked with God (Gen. 48:15). The lifelong companionship between the Almighty and these patriarch's set the standard for all who followed, from the kings and the prophets of Israel to each Christian who walks with God today.
Enoch Walked With God
One of my favorite texts is from Genesis 5:22-day24. It reads, "Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years . . . and he was not, for God took him." Hebrews 11:5 tells us that Enoch had "obtained the witness . . . he was pleasing to God."
Enoch walked with God 300 years. Every day, Enoch arose and sought the Lord, walking faithfully with the Almighty. Eventually, Enoch became so pleasing to God that, without passing through death, He was taken home to be with the Lord.
So also with us, when we faithfully walk with God we bring great pleasure to our Father. The Scripture says that Enoch "obtained the witness" that his life was "pleasing to God." God communicated His pleasure to Enoch. To know the pleasure of God is to taste the nectar of heaven itself.
Whatever may happen in the future, the God of the future is walking with us today. And while we may not be able to see into tomorrow, our faithfulness to Christ today is our best security for whatever lies ahead.
As the first person raptured by Christ, Enoch sets the standard for all whom Jesus will one day gather to Himself. They simply and passionately walk with God.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Three Battlegrounds
Introduction
I wrote The Three Battlegrounds to provide clear and balanced insight into the nature of spiritual warfare. Before we proceed, however, I have two concerns. The first is our need for wisdom. There is an old European proverb worth heeding. It reads: "Age and treachery will always defeat youth and zeal." Before we engage in spiritual warfare, we should know this about Satan: he is an ancient and extremely treacherous foe. On the other hand, the strength of most Christians lies primarily in idealism and untested fervor. It is not long, usually five to ten years in the ministry, and most zeal has waned. Without warning the minister’s call has deteriorated from a walk of vision to a mere job.
What occurred was that zeal, by itself, challenged the treachery of hell and lost. The brightness of youthful dreams dimmed under the dark cloud of relentless satanic assault. Under the weight of growing frustrations and discouragement, compromise increased, and with it came iniquity and spiritual bondage.
Yet the real villain was not sin but ignorance. We put the devil in a doctrinal box and expected him to stay there. He did not. He undermined relationships, and our love grew cautious. He resisted us in prayer, and our faith turned weak. Disillusionment set in. After spending much time with struggling pastors, I have seen a common trend in most: They failed to discern the assault of the devil. They stood unprotected against an ancient treacherous foe.
Jesus prepared His disciples for everything, including spiritual warfare. They watched Him cast out demons; they clearly knew the devil was real. In fact, He sent them forth to also deliver people from demons. But before He sent them out, He charged them to become wise "as serpents" yet innocent and harmless "as doves" (Matt. 10:16). This fusion of divine wisdom and Christlike innocence is the taproot of all spiritual victory. Indeed, we can defeat the enemy, but wisdom must precede warfare and virtue must come before victory.
Consequently, the goal of this book is to train the church in wisdom and call the church to innocence. We will not disregard what we have previously learned; we will still live by faith. But we must learn the ways of God, which means we must think with wisdom. And we must be pure of heart, that we may see God and gain discernment. Indeed, it is the lack of discernment that has left us vulnerable to satanic attack.
Of my second concern, let me say that there are no shortcuts to successful warfare, only ways to make it longer and more perilous. One way of peril is to enter battle blinded by presumption. When it comes to waging war effectively, consider carefulness to be the essence of victory.
Whatever lofty spiritual plane you imagine that you are on, remember: Adam was in Paradise when he fell. Before your increased knowledge and religious experiences make you overly self-confident, recall that Solomon wrote three books of Scripture; he actually gazed upon the glory of God, yet he fell. Yes, even in your deepest worship of the Almighty, do not forget in long ages past Lucifer himself was once in Heaven pouring out praise to God.
We each know of many who have fallen. Jesus warned that the love of many would grow cold. Do not presume it cannot happen to you. Our enemy has been deceiving mankind for thousands of years. Our experience, on the other hand, spans but a brief moment. It is wisdom to recognize that we do not know all there is to know concerning warfare.
Therefore, be bold but never brash or arrogant in your prayer life. Use your spiritual authority administratively, compassionately, but never presumptuously. Multitudes of well-meaning but ignorant Christians have approached the field of spiritual battle with flippant attitudes and have suffered greatly for it. Study several books and seek confirmation from the Lord for your strategies. As it is written, "Prepare plans by consultation, and make war by wise guidance" (Prov. 20:18).
Thus, our purpose here is to help equip you for battle in three primary areas of battlegrounds: the mind, the church and the heavenly places. There are other fields or subcategories of spiritual warfare; however, these are where most of us will face conflict.
One last note. A few of you will be instrumental in actually saving your cities. Our prayer is that these chapters will help guide and equip you for that goal. The promise of the Spirit speaks thus: "There was a small city with few men in it and a great king came to it, surrounded it and constructed large siegeworks against it. But there was found in it a poor wise man and he delivered the city by his wisdom" (Eccl. 9:14-15).
While many are predicting the destruction of our nation and the collapse of our cities, they have not considered the power of Christ in you. But remember: "Wisdom is better than strength . . . . Wisdom is better than weapons of war" (Eccl. 9:16, 18).

Fight using God's Wisdom and Discernment
The Three Battlegrounds
Any time the Spirit of God's kingdom is truly manifested in the earth, it will ultimately confront the strongholds of hell. Indeed, wherever evil spirits have either a foothold or a stronghold, you can expect that the overcoming church will be engaged in warfare, and expect also that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that Jesus builds.
In this book, Francis Frangipane explores the three arenas of spiritual warfare that the maturing Christian will face: the mind, the church and the heavenly places. It provides a foundation of insight, wisdom and discernment on the nature of the battle and the keys to victory.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
When Passover Is Fulfilled in
God's Kingdom
"Easter" Or "Passover"?
Most of us are aware that the early church did not celebrate Easter with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and marshmallow chickens. The early Christians celebrated Christ's resurrection and the New Covenant that was fulfilled by Jesus Christ on Passover.
The word Easter actually comes from the Anglo Saxon Eastre, the "goddess of spring." As Christianity spread, to avoid conflict with local traditions, the early church incorporated several pagan holidays into church culture. Obviously, colored eggs, rabbits and chickens were not biblical symbols of resurrection but were actually part of the pagan fertility rites of spring.
Although most Christians, myself included, still refer to the season of Christ's resurrection as "Easter," in my heart, I look past the cultural roots of some of these issues and gently call everyone's attention to the great miracle that we've come to celebrate: the resurrection of Christ.
The Christian Passover
Yet, while we can forgive and cover non-Christian traditions in love, we should not let these traditions obscure the profound truth of God's Word. The Hebrew feast of Passover was not only commemorative, it was also prophetic in nature. Gentile believers saw a great fulfillment in the Passover, a fulfillment lived out in the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Even as Paul wrote, "Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast" (1 Cor. 5:7-8).
The Gentile Christians in Corinth were urged by Paul to celebrate the Feast of Passover. However, the gentiles did not engage in the Old Testament rituals as did the Jews. Rather, they approached the feast from its spiritual perspective, focusing on Christ, "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29).
Indeed, the Christian Church kept the Passover not only in remembrance of Israel's deliverance from Egypt but in the universal view, remembering and celebrating Christ, their Passover Lamb, delivering man from sin.
The Old Testament Passover, for all its powerful intrinsic and literal value, was actually an anticipation of what Christ would fulfill on behalf of mankind. Remember, the feasts were shadows of something greater than themselves. Paul said their "substance belongs to Christ" (Col. 2:17). Thus it is absolutely remarkable that, of all days in the calendar year, Christ, the Lamb of God, was crucified during the days of Passover. At roughly the same time the high priest was offering a lamb for the sins of the Jews, Jesus was praying for the sins of the world: "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do."
The Kingdom Passover
Yet there was more to the Passover, which the Lord related to His disciples during the "Last Supper" (the Passover). He said, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God" (Luke 22:15-16).
There will be another fulfillment to the Passover where the feast is "fulfilled in the kingdom of God." This will be a time when those who are truly Christ's are divinely protected during the sequence of end-time judgments. Whether you believe in a pre-, mid- or post-tribulation rapture, God has not destined us for wrath. The Kingdom Passover, fulfilled by the Lamb of God, positions us in the eternal protection, both now and at the end of the age.
In whatever manner Jesus' words shall be fulfilled, let us require of ourselves to partake of the whole Lamb. Let us diligently apply the Lamb's blood over the doorways to our hearts, as well as over our families and loved ones. And even as the world around us spirals ever deeper into darkness and judgment, let us instead press into God's kingdom. For the time is coming when we shall celebrate the Passover with Christ in the kingdom of God.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
If We Do Not Lose Heart
The prophet Daniel warns of a time when Satan will "wear down the saints of the Highest One" (Dan. 7:25). How this occurs in the final hours of the age remains to be seen, but this battle is already occurring today. The final effect of what seems like never-ending delays is that believers are worn out.
Do you know anyone who is weary with his or her battle? Are you yourself weary? I know many who seem trapped in situations that should have been remedied months and even years ago, but the battle continues against them. Situations and people, often empowered by demonic resistance, stand in opposition to the forward progress of God’s people. As a result of constant demonic opposition, many Christians gradually accept a quiet, but weighty, oppression on their souls.
This battle to wear out the saints may be rooted in conflicts with children or spouses; perhaps it is some unresolved issue or division within their churches. It may be a work conflict or health battle, yet on and on it goes. Like a skilled and masterful thief, the enemy daily steals the joy, strength and passion of Christians, and many do not even realize what they have lost or how much.
The scale is actually larger than our personal struggles. Consider the various conflicts in the world. Some have continued for generations. We can understand why, even in the midst of great worship and praise by the redeemed, there is a place under the altar in Heaven where the saints continue to ask, "How long, O Lord?" (Rev. 6:10). Fifty-eight times in the Bible, from beginning to end, the phrase how long is echoed by those who grew weary with waiting.
Sometimes the delays are God-ordained to perfect faith and character. On the other hand, there are also occasions when Satan seeks to resist the fulfillment of God’s plans until we grow weary and quit. Satan is the dragon whose goal is to "drag-on" the battle with draining, wearying delays. He persists until we wear out, give up and quit praying.
Additionally, as situations stretch beyond reasonably expected conclusions, weariness of soul can also exacerbate the original situation, leading to fleshly reactions or just overreactions, which also need resolution. We lose patience, eventually seeking relief rather than victory. This compromises the standards of God and conscience.
Perseverance
There is a reason the book of Revelation mentions the word perseverance seven times. Over and over again we see those who persevered and overcame. It is one thing to have vision, another to have godly motives, but neither will carry us to our objectives by itself. We must also persevere.
The root of the word persevere is the word severe. We must face the fact that en route to victory our trials may get severe. Likewise, it is with severe faith -- severe or extreme steadfastness -- that we inherit the promises of God (Heb. 10:36). James tells us: "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:2-4).
Endurance. Perseverance. Steadfastness. These are the qualities that breed character, that transform the doctrine of Christlikeness into a way of life. "Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect." The key to true maturity, to a life "lacking in nothing," is perseverance.
Character Before Breakthrough
We mentioned Daniel earlier as a prophet who warned about Satan’s ploy to wear down the saints. God gave him a vision of the end of the age. Here is what he wrote: "I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them" (Dan. 7:21). This is the nature of the battle. There are times we feel war storming against our souls, overpowering us. But the prophet said the sense of overpowering continued only "until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom" (v. 22).
There is a principle here that, once understood, will lead to victory in our battles. If we endure, if we climb higher into God, if we refuse to lose our trust in God, a time will come when the Ancient of Days enters our circumstances. Looking at our newly developed character, which has grown strong through perseverance, He will pass judgment in favor of our cause. God looks at our character, forged in the fire of overpowering delays and battle, and says, "Good, this is what I was waiting for."
Whatever your battle, whether you are praying for your country or standing for your children, whether your cry is for the lost or for the end of some local or personal conflict, remember: it is not enough to sow the right seeds or even have the right soil. We will only reap "if we do not lose heart" (Gal. 6:9 NKJV).

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Bronze Bow
A number of years ago, during a time of spiritual weariness and uphill battle, the Holy Spirit gave me a unique anointing to wage warfare. This special endowment of grace came through a dream, which began with me lying down in a house, resting. Suddenly, members of our church entered the home and told me that our enemies were returning and I was needed to engage this demonic horde in battle. I remember lamenting, "Why am I always picked to do battle?" Tired and weary, I stepped outside. On top of a distant ridge, sitting on horses, I could see rows of enemy warriors. Someone near handed me a bow and arrows, but my aim wavered and, due to the distance, my arrows all fell short. The depression upon me deepened as I could hear the mockery of the enemy warriors, scorning my attempt to hurt them.
Then, suddenly, the heavens opened and an outstretched arm handed me a shining, gold colored bow. Immediately, as I grasped it, the word of the Lord, as it might have come to David himself, rose within me and I proclaimed, "By my God I can bend a bow of bronze!" (Psalms 18:34 NAS). Instantly, divine energy flooded my arms, while confidence and courage filled my spirit. I was as radiant and strong as my weapon. I nocked an arrow onto the bowstring, aimed and fired toward the enemy. This time my arrows had distance, penetration and accuracy, and the enemy was routed.
That was the dream. But the Holy Spirit was set on confirming His word to me. Early the next morning, Saturday, I drove to the church to do some work. At that time, our mail came to a post office box and we rarely received personal letters at the church building. However, a letter was waiting in the mailbox. It was sent by a visitor who, after attending our evening service the previous week, felt compelled to send a prophetic witness. After a few words of greetings and encouragement, she wrote that the Lord gave her the following Scripture for me:
"For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength, and makes my way blameless? He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places. He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze" (Ps 18:31-34).
Again, but this time fully awake, I felt the anointing of God's strength pour, like oil, upon my head and down through my body. There were other confirming witnesses as well, such as the preacher who visited our church that night. Quoting Elisha's word to King Joash, he spoke on "the Lord's arrow of victory" (2 Ki 13:17).
It was one of those God weekends that launched a new level of spiritual warfare. From that time on, the Holy Spirit began to reveal the works of the Jezebel spirit and the accuser of the brethren. I could discern many other spirits as well, as the Holy Spirit gave me grace. I don't mean to say that I never failed again. No, I had failings. However, I gained an anointing in revelation discernment. I also found a new confidence in spiritual authority over the demonic realm. But the key was, the Holy Spirit anointed me for battle. He "trained my hands" and gave me supernatural weapons with which to wage war. Beforehand, I could give you a fairly accurate theological explanation to define spiritual warfare; afterward, I had an anointing to wage warfare.
Within the next 24 months I wrote my second book, The Three Battlegrounds, which was a compilation of truths the Lord revealed about warfare and discernment.
He Trains Our Hands
In the above verse from Psalm 18, David reveals stages of spiritual development concerning war. We must fight in the strength of the Lord; we must also allow God to make our way blameless. We must not run ahead of God; rather, as the rear feet of the deer step into the exact place of the front feet, so we must learn to place our feet in the exact steps of the Lord, especially when He sets us "upon...high places." In that context, the Lord trains our hands for battle and gives us supernatural weapons against the enemy.
Indeed, one of the main sources of weariness in the church is that people to not know how to discern and then defeat their enemies. Instead of praying for victory, we settle for temporary relief. We pray that God will make the devil leave us alone, when the Lord is telling us to pursue our enemies and scatter them like dust. I fully believe in prayer and that we should be devoted to prayer, but there are other times when God commands us to turn and, in the name of Jesus Christ, take authority over the devil.
God calls us to be prayer warriors, not prayer worriers. One of the main reasons we began our online school, In Christ's Image Training (ICIT), is to impart this very anointing for warfare to others. Just as the Spirit of God trains, then anoints with power and appropriate spiritual gifts, so ICIT has been raised up, in part, to train the church and empower God's people to stand in the day of battle. Exercising spiritual authority over the enemy (and sickness as well) is part of the arsenal given us by the Almighty. The devil would like to take this world and spin it completely out of orbit, thrusting it into terrible darkness and chaos; we must resist him and use our authority to bind and cancel the demonic advances of the enemy into our world.
The Holy Spirit is our bow and our prayers are God's arrows. But we must pray with vision, courage and confidence, and with equal confidence take authority when the Lord calls us to stand against the enemy. The sad fact is, many Christians have been so conditioned by defeat they are fearful to exercise spiritual authority. They look at people moving in anointed spiritual authority over the devil as though there were something sinful or doctrinally wrong with Christians moving in Christ's authority.
Having confidence is not a sin.
Exercising your faith is not presumption.
Standing on God's promise when others flee is not foolish.
You might argue, "God hasn't called me to face principalities and powers." Fine, but I'm not talking about challenging world rulers of darkness. How about confronting that little demon of lust that keeps you shamed and condemned? Let's not start attacking the devil himself, just that spirit of fear that keeps whispering unbelieving thoughts into your mind. You see, for God's kingdom to advance, we must not only pray, but move in the authority of the King.
"Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under you; your arrows are in the heart of the King's enemies" (Ps 45:5).
God has given us sharp arrows that, under the Spirit's anointing, plunge deep into the heart of the Lord's spiritual enemies. You say, "But I have failed. I've suffered some very serious setbacks." So you lost a round or two. Is the whole fight over? Is that a white flag I see in your hand? Have you conceded?
Another responds, "I don't feel comfortable confronting evil. I just want to hide in God as His worshiper." No one is saying don't hide. No one is urging you to run into the night and throw hatchets at the moon. But if you are being harassed even after you tried to hide in God, maybe the Lord Himself is bumping you out of the next to turn and face your spiritual foes.
Sure the Lord can squish the devil, and can do so in a heartbeat. But perhaps it pleases Him more to "crush Satan under your feet" (Rom. 16:20).
I'm not saying, let's all focus on the devil, but let's focus on the anointing God has given us to stand against the schemes of the wicked one. Let's reintegrate divine authority into our prayer and spiritual warfare, taking up the "full armor of God," which includes the most power weapon in the universe: "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6). You see, the weapons of our warfare are mighty to the tearing down of Satan's strongholds!
Let's pray:
Lord, You have not only called us to war for ourselves and our loved ones, but You have given us weapons that are mighty. Father, for everyone who has become spiritually timid or actually intimidated by the enemy, I bring them before You right now. I ask that You stir them from their fears and anoint them for this day of battle. Grant us all grace, blessed King, to bend a bow of bronze. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
When the Crop Permits
From the ICIT Christlikeness track
Certainly, the period prior to Christ's return will be both difficult and perilous. Scripture warns that God's voice will shake all things, things in the heavens and things on the earth. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and then removed (Heb. 12:26-27).
Yet there is more on the calendar of God than increasing judgments and the Rapture. Between now and the Second Coming, there will also be a significant, though still partial, re-establishing of God's kingdom in the earth (Dan. 2:44; Matt. 24:14; Matt. 13). A spiritually mature people will serve as the vanguard of His return. Before the Lord is glorified in the earth, He shall be glorified in the church (Isa. 60:1-3; Eph. 5:27). Indeed, the attainment of Christlike maturity in those who pursue the Lord shall not be a mere sidebar on the list of end-time events; it will be a significant fulfillment.
Listen carefully to what Jesus taught. He said,
"The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows -- how, he himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come" (Mark 4:26-29).
Jesus likened the kingdom of God to a farmer waiting for the maturing of His crops. During the harvest season, farmers are concerned about two primary things: the quantity and quality of the harvest. For over 30 years I lived in eastern Iowa. Some corn and soybean fields, which may have started strong, fail or were stunted due to unusually high or low temperatures or lack of rain. As a result, farmers plow under their fields because their crops did not reach maturity. There was no "mature grain in the head."
Just as the farmer will not harvest without the grain becoming mature, so God is seeking a crop of Christ-followers that have reached spiritual maturity. God is after full stature not just full numbers. Take note: Jesus said, "when the crop permits" God puts in the sickle. The return of Christ isn't tied to a certain "day or hour"; it is about the spiritual stature of the harvest that triggers the great unfolding of end-time events. You see, God is not looking at His watch; He's looking at His crop.
What does maturity look like? It looks like Christians taking "every thought captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor. 10:5). Again, maturity will look like followers of Jesus doing the works of Jesus. (Jn 14:12).
"Man...in the image of God" is the seed-idea purposed by the Almighty from before time began (Gen. 1:27). The release of divine wrath is not the Father's highest priority. It does not in any way mean we think we are gods or that we take Christ's place; it means Christ has truly taken our place (Gal. 2:20). This is what the "mature head in the grain" looks like: mature Christlikeness.
For too long we have assumed that only the numeric size of the harvest was the focus of the Father. Certainly the number of people saved is pivotal: "the fullness of the gentiles" must come into the kingdom (Rom. 11:25). However, the Almighty does not just want numbers; He wants spiritual maturity.
Thus, the Lord is not looking at a calendar thinking, "Oh, it's the year 2016 (or 2020, etc.). I have to destroy the world on that date." No. A farmer does not reap his crops without first walking his fields, testing samples of the grain, and studying the moisture and integrity of the seed head. Only then does he begin his harvest. Again, the maturity of the crop determines the day of the harvest.
So many Christians are frozen in spiritual immaturity. They are easily offended, often distracted and without prayer or spiritual discipline. We think God is requiring of us simply to hang on, yet the Lord is looking for more. Paul says the goal of God in the church is that "we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:13, italics mine).
Even now, believers around the world are becoming increasingly more Christlike. Many are dying for their faith. Yet "with unveiled face," they are "beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord" and "are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory" (2 Cor. 3:18). When this crop permits, the Father shall put in His sickle, for the harvest has truly come.
Let's pray: Lord Jesus, as You continue looking for spiritual completeness in the harvest, help me to grow to full stature, that I may truly represent a planting which has grown up into Your likeness.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Wind at Your Back
Today is a crucial time in history. The fields of harvest are ripening worldwide. Just as He urged His early disciples, so the Lord's word speaks to us today. He says, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest" (Matt. 9:37-38).
If you believe God has called you and desires to release you into ministry (pastoral, marketplace, evangelist, small group leader, etc.), we encourage you to consider enrolling in this online class. Even if you are in ministry, join the class expecting to be released into a new level.
A special word to those saints who may be feeling battle fatigue: There has been much warfare over the last years. As a result, we believe the Lord desires to break curses off people. The definition of a curse is to "hem in with obstacles." If you find yourself blocked or hemmed in by circumstances, beloved, it is time to believe God for release. I believe the wind is changing. It will no longer blow against your efforts. You will go forth with the wind at your back.
Now is the time to be prepared and trained: In Christ's Image Training. We have extended registration through Monday, March 28, 2022 to accommodate those enrolling at the last minute.
