Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Lord of Armies, Part 1
By Francis Frangipane
Our nation has been under spiritual and physical attack. God has called His Church to step up, grow up, take up the sword of the Spirit and fight for the future. Beloved, we can see our nation turned away from sin and aggressively turned toward Heaven. Do not Doubt!
It is no secret that today America is the most influential nation in the world. Yet consider how God could use our land if Hollywood experienced a revival or if our government became a model of integrity and justice.
You might be thinking that I'm dreaming, that it will never happen. Again I say, "Do not doubt." For Jesus says, "All things are possible." You may have been a prayer warrior at one time, but you've suffered a setback. Okay, round one is over -- now it is time for round two. God is calling us back to vision and prayer. It is time to reload! It is time to pick up the sword of the Holy Spirit and join the ranks of the overcoming Church. Resist that cloud of oppression and pray.
The Lord and His Army
I know some still say, "I don't get it. I don't understand having a warfare mindset. I just don't see it in the Lord or the Scriptures."
The enemy has been clever. He has been able to obscure in some fashion one of the greatest revelations of the Lord in the Bible. It is an aspect of the divine nature that is revealed in the compound names of God. Some familiar examples of these unique names are Yahweh-Nissi ("the Lord My Banner") or Yahweh-Jirah ("the Lord My Provider") or Yahweh-Rapha ("the Lord My Healer"). In revealing Himself via these names -- on about thirty different occasions in the Bible -- the Lord reveals an aspect of His eternal nature ready to meet the human need of His servants.
Yet one name stands apart from these thirty references. It occurs approximately two hundred ninety times in the Bible -- nearly ten times the sum of all other revelations! What is that name? Let me introduce you to Yahweh-Sabaoth, "the Lord of Hosts." From the sheer number of references alone, we see that "the Lord of Hosts" (or the God of Armies) is the divine revelation most frequently demonstrated to mankind in the Bible.
When we talk about fighting for our personal transformation or warring for our families, cities and nations, it is the Lord of Hosts we want to follow into battle. It was the Lord of Hosts who met Joshua on the plains of Jericho (Josh. 5:14), and it was the God of Armies who led David into battle against the Philistines (1 Sam. 17:45).
If we will succeed in our warfare, we need to see the Lord as the great Commander that He is, for it is the Commander of Heaven's armies whom we follow. He is the Master of the universe, Lord of powers, both on earth and in Heaven, "and the armies which are in heaven . . . [are] following Him" (Rev. 19:14).

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Lord, What is "Practical"? By Francis Frangipane Ask Him. Go on, ask the Lord, in view of the times in which we live, what He considers practical. I venture you won't hear Him saying things like, "My son, invest in an IRA", or "Child, always get eight hours of sleep." No. As I know the Lord---and He is practical---He will say something like, "Both righteousness and wickedness are coming to full maturity upon the earth, and the world order, as you have known it, will soon be gone. Therefore, stop worrying about the things of this age. Prepare yourself to live continually in My Presence and abandon yourself to Me and My will and I will guide you through the days ahead." You may say, well, is that practical? I mean, what if the Lord doesn't return for another fifty years? We ask this question often from a motive that is insincere. The problem with most Christians is that we don't want to do God's will; we want to do our will in Jesus' name. We don't seek God to discover what He's doing; we seek Him to bless what we're doing. If people knew that Jesus was not going to return for fifty years; if they could pin Him down to an exact date, the week before He returned, they would pray, love and make things right with those they've sinned against. I believe that, at least in part, this was what moved the Pharisees to ask when Jesus thought the kingdom of God was coming. Yet, Jesus gave them an answer that we, too, need to grasp. He said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is within you" (Lk 17:20-21KJ). They wanted to know when the kingdom was coming; Jesus told them where it would first be revealed. People always want to know when Christ is returning, not because they long for His return, but so they can continue to live selfishly and then, during the week before His return, make things right with God and man. But, God doesn't reveal when He's returning because He wants us to be dressed in readiness, living each day with godly passion and vision. Oh, how addictive, how deceiving and self-justifying our selfishness is! The Lord doesn't want just the last week of our lives; He seeks all we are every day! He is not looking for "summer help" or "weekend warriors." The Living God seeks a people in whom He can dwell, a people who will become His kingdom on earth! Listen to the writer of Hebrews as the Holy Spirit revealed the unfolding of God's works in the earth. He wrote, "And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.'" And this expression, 'Yet once more,' denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. "Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire" (Heb 12:26-29). Two things are unfolding at the same time. On the one hand, the world is being shaken by wars, rumors of wars, by famines, lawlessness, terrorism and threats of more terrorism. Worldwide, major companies are suffering scandals and bankruptcies; the economies of the nations are void of confidence as fear and indecision grip the heart of man. Yet, at the very same time that all this is happening in the world, God is restoring, upgrading and working in His kingdom! Remember, the Pharisees wanted to know when the kingdom would come, but Jesus said the kingdom, in its initial phase, doesn't come with signs. In other words, we won't have a sign telling us we need to get up early and pray. There will be no omen warning us that we should turn off the television and seek God. The kingdom of heaven is emerging and incrementally unfolding within us as we obey God. Yes, and the most practical thing we can do is fully obey God in whatever He's called us to do! You see, these are prophetic days, days when scriptures are being fulfilled before our eyes. The world as we know it is changing rapidly, and it will probably get worse and more helpless before Christ returns. In other words, when a house is on fire, one does not need a course on interior decorating. Likewise, when God is shaking all things that can be shaken, we must press into His kingdom and walk in the unshakeable fullness of His Presence. These two realms, the shaking of the nations and the unfolding of God's kingdom, will be around us continually until the rapture. Indeed, listen to what else the Lord revealed, this time through Daniel. He is speaking of the last world order on earth and the introductory phase of God's kingdom. Daniel wrote, "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever" (Dan 2:44). Get this thought: While the world is busy trying to fix its unfixable problems, the God of heaven is simultaneously setting up His kingdom! He is not setting up "church," but His kingdom. It's not coming outside of us, but within us---in our character, our love and faith. It is the gospel of this kingdom which shall be proclaimed in all the world for a witness, "and then the end shall come" (Matt 24:12). Get in the Ark! Jesus said these last days would be like the days of Noah. You want to see practicality? Look at Noah. To the world, Noah looked very impractical. First, he was building a boat on a mountain top. Second, people were living normal lives, the financial picture was improving: people were buying and selling. Every weekend you could see people marrying and being given in marriage. There was no reason to believe that judgments were coming, certainly not a flood, especially since it had never rained before! But, building a boat on top of a mountain is a practical thing to do if the earth is going to be destroyed by water. God's will is practical. Yet, while the world considered Noah a very impractical person, in the end Noah proved that doing the will of God is, literally, the only way to live. True, Noah was told to get pairs of animals and food for them, which is a way of saying we do need a little of everything to keep us going right. But, if Noah did not bring along a couple of skunks, it really would not have mattered near as much as if Noah did not get into the ark. You see, the priority was to build the ark and warn the people. God sent the animals to Noah. And when we seek for the Kingdom and determine to live in the Ark of God's Presence, God brings to us the extra things we need to make it through life. The boat Noah built was called an "ark." The ark was not just a boat, it was a symbol of God's promise to Noah and Noah's obedience to God. This point is very important. For Jesus said, "Not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord', will enter the Kingdom, but only those who DO the will of My Father." Jesus did not say, "try to do," He said "do." He went on to say, "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and DOES THEM is likened unto a wise man who built his house upon the rock..." The first thing you must do, therefore, is to actually hear Christ's words in the depth of our spirits. But it is the application of His words that is practical. Obedience to God's will is for us, what getting in the ark was for Noah---it preserves us through the time of shaking that are coming upon the earth. Truly, there are many good preachers and teachers that can teach better than I the basics of living in the natural world. There are Christian psychologists, Christian financiers, even Christian aerobics; all capable of helping you succeed in their respective skills. Whatever you need can be found in a "how to" book somewhere, which can help you. Get answers, but set your focus high on the will of God. Indeed, the most practical knowledge we need is the knowledge of the will of God. For He, Himself is our Ark of Safety in the days ahead. |

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Year of Release
By Francis Frangipane
In spite of increasing tensions around the world, the Holy Spirit says, for many, this next year will be a year of release. While we must absolutely intercede for our nations, we also must refuse to become fearful or restrained by the pressures of the world around us. The constrictions experienced by this age are not death throes, but birth pangs; they are not part of what restricts us, but releases us.
"Do not focus on the fearful things around you, the threats of terrorism or the portent of economic collapse; focus steadfastly upon your transformation!" God is doing a quick and deep work, and this world is the perfect setting in which to manifest Christlikeness. Darkness provides the perfect contrast to the rising glory of the Lord within us. "So, look for My release," says the Lord. "For this year it shall come powerfully and suddenly."
Year of Release
Beloved, the Father's heart is impassioned for our release! Even now, the Holy Spirit is focused upon bringing new freedom to our lives, whether that release manifests in greater purity, more confident power or deeper intimacy with Christ, a spiritual release is coming.
Yes, Christ enters our lives as Lord and King, but He never stops being our Healer, Comforter and Deliverer. Even when He must confront and rebuke us, it is so He ultimately can release us. Remember, Jesus began His ministry with an amazing announcement, a proclamation which would define His eternal relationship with the church. He said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord" (Lk 4:18-19).
Jesus was anointed (that is, He was prepared and empowered by God) to proclaim "release to the captives." He didn't come to condemn captives, but to free them. He is not angry that we are "blind"; He comes to give us vision. He's not disappointed that we are "downtrodden"; He comes to lift us up.
If you have received the anointing of Jesus Christ upon your life, then there is a constant updraft of divine energy working in your spirit to bring release from sin, recovery from wounding and freedom from the limitations of the flesh. The instant you look to God, you know His power is working; the moment you turn to prayer, resurrection power kicks into gear.
Jesus came proclaiming "the year of the Lord's favor" (Lk 4:19 NIV). The Amplified adds, ". . . the day [when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]." Regardless of what you feel like, look like, or have recently been acting like, right at this very moment, the Spirit of God is extending His favor toward you, assuring you a release is on its way!
What This Means
In practical terms, this means if you've been incarcerated by sin or the devil, this year you will triumph over your enemies. If you have loved ones trapped in bondage, they too, as you intercede, shall know the Lord's freedom. It also means if you have been treading water spiritually and going nowhere, a release is coming to you as well. This year shall mark a season of measurable spiritual fulfillment for all who desire to live like Christ.
Remember, though fearsome things may occur around us, something more awesome still is occurring within us. Christ's church, the woman, is with child. This year shall be the year of great release!

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES

The Stronghold of the Godly: Humility
By Francis Frangipane
Satan fears virtue. He is terrified of humility; he hates it. He sees a humble person and it sends chills down his back. His hair stands up when Christians kneel down, for humility is the surrender of the soul to God. The devil trembles before the meek because in the very areas where he once had access there stands the Lord, and Satan is terrified of Jesus Christ.
Who Truly Are You Fighting?
It is important to recognize that the immediate source of many of our problems and oppression is not demonic but fleshly in nature. Indeed, one aspect of our lives, our flesh nature, will always be targeted by the devil. These fleshly areas supply Satan with unhindered access to undermine our prayers and neutralize our walk with God.
It is only our exaggerated sense of self-righteousness that prevents us from looking honestly at ourselves. We know who is in us, but we must also know what is in us if we will be successful in our war against the devil. Therefore, be specific when you submit yourself to God. Do not rationalize your sins and failures. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is a perfect shelter of grace, enabling all men to look honestly at their needs. Accordingly, be honest with God. He will not be horrified or shocked by your sins. God loved you without restraint, even when sin was rampant within you; how much more will He continue to love you as you seek His grace to be free from iniquity?
Before we launch out in aggressive warfare, we must realize that many of our battles are merely the consequences of our own actions. To war effectively, we must separate what is of the flesh from what is of the devil.
Allow me to give you an example. My wife and I once lived in an area where a beautiful red cardinal kept its nest. Cardinals are very territorial and will fight off intruding cardinals zealously. At that time, we owned a van that had large side mirrors and chrome bumpers. Occasionally, the cardinal would attack the bumpers or mirrors, thinking his reflection was another bird. One day, as I watched the cardinal assail the mirror, I thought, “What a foolish creature; his enemy is merely the reflection of himself.” Immediately the Lord spoke to my heart, “And so also are many of your enemies the reflection of yourself.”
Before we have any strategy for attacking Satan, we must make sure that the real enemy is not our own carnal nature. We must ask ourselves, Are the things oppressing us today the harvest of what we planted yesterday?
Agree with Thine Adversary
You will remember that Jesus taught:
"Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing" (Matt. 5:25-26 KJV).
Jesus is speaking here of more than avoiding lawsuits. In fact, He speaks in such a way as to indicate that, in regards to this particular adversary and this particular judge, we will always lose our case and end up in prison.
This parable explains God's view of human righteousness. In the narrative, the adversary is the devil and the Judge is God. Satan, as our adversary, stands as the accuser of the brethren before God, the Judge of all. The truth Christ wants us to see is that when we approach God on the basis of our own righteousness, the adversary will always have legal grounds to "cast [us] into prison," for our righteousness is "as filthy rags" (Isa. 64:6 KJV).
When Jesus says, "Agree with thine adversary quickly," He does not mean obey the devil. He is saying that when Satan accuses you of some sin or flaw, if the devil is even minutely right, it is to your advantage to agree with him about your unrighteousness. If he accuses you of being impure or not loving or praying enough, he is right. The key is not to argue with the devil about your own righteousness because, before God, your righteousness is unacceptable. No matter how much you defend or justify yourself, you know inwardly that often the accusations of the devil have morsels of truth in them.
Our salvation is not based upon what we do but upon who Jesus becomes to us. Christ Himself is our righteousness. We have been justified by faith; our peace with God comes through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1). When Satan comes against you, he tries to deceive you by focusing your attention upon your own righteousness. The more we recognize that Jesus alone is our righteousness, the less the adversary can assault us in the arena of our failings.
Thus, when the accuser comes seeking to condemn you for not having enough love, your response should be, "That is true, I do not have enough love. But the Son of God died for all my sins, even the sin of imperfect love." Step out from the shadow of satanic assault and stand in the brightness of your Father's love. Submit yourself to God and ask for Christ's love and forgiveness to replace your weak and imperfect love.
When Satan seeks to condemn you for impatience, again your response should be, "Yes, in my flesh I am very impatient. But since I have been born again, Jesus is my righteousness and through His blood I am forgiven and cleansed." Turn again to God. Use the accusation as a reminder that you are not standing before an angry God but rather a throne of grace which enables you to boldly draw near to God for help (Heb. 4:16).
A vital key, therefore, to overcoming the devil is humility. To humble yourself is to refuse to defend your image: you are corrupt and full of sin in your old nature. Yet we have a new nature that has been created in the likeness of Christ (Eph. 4:24), so we can agree with our adversary about the condition of our flesh.
But do not limit this principle of humbling yourself to only when you are involved in spiritual warfare. This precept is applicable in other situations as well. The strength of humility is that it builds a spiritual defense around your soul, prohibiting strife, competition and many of life's irritations from stealing your peace.
A wonderful place to practice this is in your family relationships. As a husband, your wife may criticize you for being insensitive. A fleshly response could easily escalate the conversation into a conflict. The alternative is to simply humble yourself and agree with your wife. You probably were insensitive. Then pray together and ask God for a more tender love.
As a wife, perhaps your husband accuses you of not understanding the pressures he has at work. More than likely he is right, you do not know the things he must face. Instead of responding with a counter-charge, humble yourself and agree with him. Pray together, asking God to give you an understanding heart. If we remain humble in heart, we will receive abundant grace from God; Satan will be disarmed on many fronts.
Remember, Satan fears virtue. He is terrified of humility; he hates it because humility is the surrender of the soul to the Lord, and the devil is terrified of Jesus Christ.

Personal Training
In Christ's Image Training (ICIT) is an online course developed by Pastor Frangipane specifically to help empower hungry Christians toward their destiny. The training focuses on attaining Christlikeness, deepening our level of humility, and transforming students into "unoffendable" prayer warriors. It then prepares believers to enjoy and defend Christ-centered unity with other believers.
Pastor Frangipane has said, "The ICIT materials represent those unique, priority truths that connect the human heart to the mechanisms of transformation. These are the truths I would require of a disciple if I were their personal mentor or spiritual father."
The six-month course provides two chapters weekly by email, and gives the students expanded audio training (39 messages), which they receive by postal mail on CD or by MP3 download.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Virgin Shall Be With Child
By Francis Frangipane
The Bible is a book of reversals. Old things become new, the dead come to life, the lost are found. Even those who were the vilest of sinners are now empowered by grace to become the virgin bride of Jesus Christ.
The Virgin Bride Of Christ
We are called to become a holy bride, the spotless wife of Jesus Christ. But before we become a bride, we must first become a virgin. In the Bible a virgin was not just one who was free from the sins of premarital sex or immoral behavior; a virgin was also one set aside for another. The sense in which the church is to become virginal involves being uncorrupted, pure and undefiled by the world. It implies being untouched by man's ideas, traditions or sinfulness. To reach the goal of spiritual virginity, we must first be perfectly consecrated, wholly set apart for Jesus (2 Cor. 11:2–3).
Like everything in true Christianity, the purity of the church is not that which originates from herself; it is that which is imparted as virtue from Christ. It is true, living virtue, but it is Christ's virtue. Jesus, you will remember, was also a virgin. He had set Himself aside for us.
Indeed, it is with reference to Christ's union with the church, the marriage ceremony of the Son of God and man, that Paul wrote,
For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. —Ephesians 5:31–32
Christ and His church: the two become one flesh! The apostle said, "This mystery is great." Do not presume you understand this just because you can read. This mystery is great. Jesus left His positional relationship and privileges as God's Son and clothed Himself in human flesh, that He might absorb and then resurrect humanity into His own divine stature: the two become one! Jesus will always be the Son of God, but in love He chose to cleave unto His wife, the church. And while He is forever one Spirit with the Father, He is forever married to the church. Indeed, has this not been the eternal purpose of God: to bring the Spirit of His Son into the church, thereby creating man in both the divine image and the divine likeness (Gen. 1:26)?
Scripture calls Jesus Christ the last Adam (1 Cor. 15:45). He is the first-born of the new creation as Adam was the first-born of the old creation. The first Adam, however, in cleaving unto Eve, fell with her in sin. But Christ, in cleaving unto His church, has redeemed us and raised us up, seating us with Him in the heavenly places (Eph. 2:6).
The marriage of Adam and Eve, where Eve literally emerged and was born out of Adam's substance, is a prophetic type of the church born out of the actual substance of Christ. Paul tells us that our bodies are the physical members of Christ (1 Cor. 6:15; 12:12). We are not simply metaphorically the body of Christ, but spiritually we are "bone of [His] bones, and flesh of [His] flesh" (Gen. 2:23).
This truth is not "New Age" theology; it is not heresy. It is the unalterable Word of God. Christ Himself is in us. To believe otherwise is heresy. The test of Christian orthodoxy, according to Scripture, is in 2 Cor. 13:5:
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
We must recognize this about ourselves: Jesus Christ is in us. Yes, it is heresy to say we are Christ. Yet it is also error to deny He is within us. Paul expressed this mystery when he wrote,
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. —Galatians 2:20
The Preparation of Christ's Humanity
Christ Himself is in us. However, for Him to come forth through us, we must become a pure virgin. Revival comes as Christ prepares for Himself a people; as He is raised up within them, He draws all men unto Himself. Their Christlikeness is a door through which Jesus Himself enters the world.
"Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, ‘Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired, but a body thou hast prepared for Me'" (Heb. 10:5). While descriptive of Christ's first coming, this verse is also applicable of His presence during revival.
Secure this thought in your mind: when the Spirit of Christ comes into the physical world, He must enter through a physical body. As was stated, the people or "body" Christ uses, of necessity, must be holy. They will have been prepared, set apart for Him, beforehand. The purpose of that body is not to offer ritual sacrifices typical of the time and customs of the people. Rather, when Christ enters the world through them, He repeats His eternal purpose: "I have come . . . to do Thy will, O God" (Heb. 10:7).
We must not despise this time of preparation. Jesus Himself lived for thirty years before He was revealed and empowered as the Messiah. Although Jesus was always the Son of God, He "kept increasing in wisdom" (Luke 2:52). He could not learn of the kingdom of God in the rabbinical colleges of His day; neither could any man teach Him the mystery of the miraculous. All this had to come directly from the Father Himself. Jesus was always sinless and obedient, but Hebrews 5:8–9 tells us, "Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered . . . having been made perfect." The destiny the Father planned for Christ was something Jesus grew into, just as we must.
Hebrews plainly reveals Christ as the pre-existent Creator; He is God from all eternity (Heb. 1:8). Yet, in the unfolding of Christ's earthly life there was a point in time when His Messianic calling was announced from heaven, where it commenced on earth. Until He was baptized by John, Jesus had been in "labor" to bring forth His destiny, "pregnant" with the promise of God within Him.
After the water baptism, while Jesus was praying, the Spirit descended visibly upon Him in power, heaven opened and out thundered the voice of the Father, "Thou art My beloved Son—" (Luke 3:22). And all those promises and dreams, prophecies and visions, the thirty years of learning obedience and becoming acquainted with grief, stood poised in perfect surrender, focused upon this one incredible moment in time "—in Thee I am well-pleased!" (v. 22) Instantly, the power of heaven flowed into the Spirit of Jesus and the ministry of the Messiah was birthed.
The voice of God spoke, not to the crowds, not only for the sake of John the Baptist, but to Jesus. The requirements and days of preparation were fulfilled. The ministry of the Messiah was birthed upon the earth in power.
Mary, A Type of the Church
In another sense, Mary, the mother of Jesus, also was "a body [God] hast prepared" (Heb. 10:5). When Christ first entered our world as a child, it was Mary whom God chose to give Christ birth. Mary's life symbolized the qualities the church must possess to walk in the fullness of Christ. She was humble, considering herself a bondservant of the Lord; she unwaveringly believed the word spoken to her (Luke 1:34–38). And, Mary was a virgin. These traits qualified her to be used by God in carrying, and giving birth to, Christ.
Like Mary, our humble state as the Lord's bondslaves is but a preparation for the coming forth of Christ in our lives. Yes, we have been "chastened" of the Lord. However, the goal of the Lord's chastening is not merely to punish; He seeks to make us chaste: pure and spiritually flawless. Indeed, our purity, our spiritual virginity as the body of Christ, is nothing less than God Himself preparing us, as He did Mary, to "give birth" to the ministry of His Son. Even now, in the spiritual womb of the virgin church, the holy purpose of Christ is growing, awaiting maturity; ready to be born in power in the timing of God!
Embracing the Pains of Birth
We live within a time frame the Bible calls the "period of restoration" (Acts 3:21). Since the Reformation, the truth of Christ has been progressively restored to His church. Since the dark ages of apostasy, every time Christ's presence has been more fully revealed, it is because a "virgin church" has been in labor to bring Him forth. The Holy Spirit impregnates a Martin Luther or a John Wesley, a housewife or a teenager in Bethlehem—a person whom God knows will continually say "yes" to Him—with a vision of the Living God. The vision spreads to others where it is tested with persecutions and refined with fire, but it spreads. Yes, those people are flawed. Truly, not a one of them is perfect. But along the way their vision of God possesses their souls. They become the "woman clothed with the sun," the virgin church who is "in labor and in pain to give birth" (Rev. 12:1–2).
As her hour nears, this virgin church lays aside her many tasks to focus on her one great commission. Through intense prayer and the agonizing of the Holy Spirit, in groanings too deep for words, she embraces her appointed destiny—until the very voice of Christ Himself is heard again through her prayers: "Lo, I have come to do Thy will, O God!" Birthed in His Spirit and in His power, fused together through love and suffering, this holy people becomes, as it were, a "body [God] hast prepared."
Even now, hell trembles and the heavens watch in awe. For I say to you, once again the "virgin is with child."
Before Jesus Himself returns, the last virgin church shall become pregnant with the promise of God. Out of her travail the body of Christ shall come forth, raised to the full stature of its Head, the Lord Jesus. Corporately manifested in holiness, power and love, the bride of Christ shall arise clothed in white garments, bright and clean. During this last and greatest move of God, great darkness shall cover the earth. Even as in the judgment of Egypt, it will be a "darkness that can be felt." Yet, in the midst of darkness, the visible, powerful glory of the Lord Jesus shall rise upon the virgin church. His glory shall be seen upon them. Nations shall be drawn to their light, kings to the brightness of their rising. Radiant shall they appear, for their hearts shall possess the beautiful star of the morning. In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, their light shall exult like the dew! (Eph.4:13; Rev.2:26–27; Ex.10:21; Isa.60:1–3; 2 Pet.1:19; Ps.110:1–3)

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Gift of Woundedness By Francis Frangipane From the ICIT Christlikeness track The world and all it contains was created for one purpose: to showcase the grandeur of God's Son. In Jesus, the nature of God is magnificently and perfectly revealed; He is the "express image" of God (Heb. 1:3 KJV). Yet to gaze upon Christ is also to see God's pattern for man. As we seek to be like Him, we discover that our need was created for His sufficiency. We also see that, once the redemptive nature of Christ begins to triumph in our lives, mercy begins to triumph in the world around us. How will we recognize revival when it comes? Behold, here is the awakening we seek: men and women, young and old, all conformed to Jesus. When will revival begin? It starts the moment we say yes to becoming like Him; it spreads to others as Christ is revealed through us. Yet to embrace Christ's attitude toward mercy is but a first step in our spiritual growth. The process of being truly conformed to Christ compels us into deeper degrees of transformation. Indeed, just as Jesus learned obedience through the things that He suffered (Heb. 5:8), so also must we. And it is here, even while we stand in intercession or service to God, that Christ gives us the gift of woundedness. "Gift?" you ask. Yes, to be wounded in the service of mercy and, instead of closing our hearts, allow woundedness to crown love, is to release God's power in redemption. The steadfast prayer of the wounded intercessor holds great sway upon the heart of God. We cannot become Christlike without being wounded. You see, even after we come to Christ, we carry encoded within us preset limits concerning how far we will go for love, and how much we are willing to suffer for redemption. When God allows us to be wounded, He exposes those human boundaries and reveals what we lack of His nature. The path narrows as we seek true transformation. Indeed, many Christians fall short of Christ's stature because they have been hurt and offended by people. They leave churches discouraged, vowing never again to serve or lead or contribute because, when they offered themselves, their gift was marred by unloving people. To be struck or rejected in the administration of our service can become a great offense to us, especially as we are waiting for, and even expecting, a reward for our good efforts. Yet wounding is inevitable if we are following Christ. Jesus was both "marred" (Isa. 52:14) and "wounded" (Zech. 13:6), and if we are sincere in our pursuit of His nature, we will suffer as well. How else will love be perfected? Let us beware. We either become Christlike and forgive the offenders or we will enter a spiritual time warp where we abide continually in the memory of our wounding. Like a systemic disease, the hurtful memories infect every aspect of our existence. In truth, apart from God, the wounding that life inflicts is incurable. God has decreed that only Christ in us can survive. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Adapted from a lesson in Francis Frangipane's online course, In Christ's Image Training. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Surrender of the Vision Keeper By Francis Frangipane To walk with God is to walk a path of increasing surrender and trust. Indeed, the time is at hand when the Lord Jesus shall confront our tendencies to control Him. Not only will we know doctrinally that Christ is Lord, but we will also serve Him as Lord. If you find yourself more drawn toward prayer than promotion, more toward humility than hype, you are being prepared by the Lord for the glory of God. What He is working in you is typical of what God is establishing in thousands of other believers. However, before the Father ultimately reveals Christ as Lord over the earth, He will first reveal Him as Lord over the church. And while we should rejoice, we must also take heed. For until we are standing face to face in glory with Jesus Himself, we are going to be in transition. To each of us, Christ's call remains, "Come, follow Me!" (Luke 18:22). If we will walk with Him in obedience, He will take us into the fullness of His presence. Still, transitions can be frightening. The uncertainty of those passages between spiritual plateaus can hold us hostage to yesterday's blessings. Let us recall with godly fear that the bronze serpent, which brought healing to Israel in the wilderness, by Hezekiah's day had become an idol that had to be torn down. Our hearts must bow to God alone, for even spiritual gifts, when isolated from Christ the Giver, can become idolatrous. Therefore to successfully navigate this season of change, the Lord will require of us a fresh surrender to His Lordship. He will demand that our preconceived ideas and expectations be submitted to Him. For if we are continually telling the Holy Spirit where we expect to go, we neutralize our capacity to hear where He wants to take us. Christ in Us To better understand the changes God is initiating in the church, we are going to study the life of Mary, Jesus' mother. More than any other woman, God had blessed Mary. She alone was granted the wondrous privilege of giving birth to the Son of God. While the Lord's promise and purpose with Mary were unparalleled, in two significant ways His promise to us is similar. First, even as Mary received Christ into her physical body, we have received Jesus into our spirits. And second, as she birthed Christ, our quest is to see Jesus unfettered from the womb of our religion about Him. Our destiny is not just to carry Christ inside but to reveal the fullness of His glory in this world. Even now, abiding within our spirits, deeper and more profound than our church doctrines, is the actual Spirit of Christ. The consequence of this union of Christ's Spirit with our spirits expands the original seven Creation days into the eighth day. We are new creatures in a new creation (Gal. 6:15). In this new beginning to God's eternal plan, Jesus Christ is the firstborn of a new race of men (1 Cor. 15:45). As Jesus was both God and man, so the church is actually the dwelling of Christ in the temple of man. There is not a different Jesus in us than He who dwells in Heaven. He is Christ wrapped in glory in Heaven; He is Christ wrapped in our human flesh on earth. Our salvation is nothing less than the Perfect One dwelling in the imperfect ones, the Almighty abiding in the feeble, the All-Sufficient God dwelling among insufficient people. This is the mystery and glory of our salvation: Christ in His completeness has extended Himself into our lives! Crucial to the success of His mission is our receiving these truths with faith, determining that they shall be our reality, not just our theology. It is here, in this carrying of the actual presence of Christ within us, that we share with Mary the awe of God's purpose for us. Jesus in Subjection While Joseph was a good man, it was Mary who nurtured Jesus and continued to raise Him after Joseph died. In fact, we shall see that Mary became the matriarch of the family. Uniquely, under her spiritual influence, Jesus matured. It was natural that over time Mary would consider herself the Keeper of the Vision, Guardian of Him Who is to Come, for in truth she was. "And He continued in subjection to them" (Luke 2:51). This is an astonishing thought---Jesus, Lord of Heaven, in subjection to a lowly carpenter and his wife. Yet if we think about it, is it not equally astonishing that the rule of Christ in His church is, at least in part, subject to our initiatives? He submits Himself to our schedules and to our service times. He works within the confinements of our weaknesses and temperaments. Yet, we should honestly ask ourselves, is it a voice from Heaven or the traditions of earth that determines how long we shall worship Him on Sunday morning? If the Lord so decided, in an instant He could reveal His majesty and draw trembling surrender from all mankind. However, He restrains Himself, choosing not to intimidate but to inspire our obedience. He has chosen to hide His glory not from us but in us. And then, in order to perfect our character, He subjects Himself to our initiatives of hunger and faith. However, the fact that Jesus will accommodate and submit Himself to the conditions we offer Him does not mean that He has approved of our limitations upon Him. The standard of the church is not the church; it is Christ. This is our present dilemma: Just as Jesus subjected Himself to Mary and Joseph and they became, for a time, the vision keepers, so we have assumed that Christ will continue to exist in subjection to us. He will not. For as Jesus arises in His Lordship, to save us He must first deliver us from our efforts to control Him. A Time to Let Go It is significant that Mary still exercised matriarchal supervision over Jesus even after He was a mature man. At the wedding feast in Cana we find Jesus, His disciples, and Mary, the vision keeper. "They have no wine," Mary told her son. Jesus answered, "Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come" (John 2:3-4). In spite of what Jesus just said, Mary tells the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it" (v. 5). While I am amazed at the fact that the Father worked through Mary's orchestration of this miracle, the fact is, Jesus did not come forth to do the will of His mother but His Father. It was time for Jesus, Mary's son, to begin His ministry as Jesus, God's Son. A significant and necessary reversal of authority was needed in Mary's relationship with Christ---a change that she had not anticipated. In her mind, her sense of influence was simply a continuation of her God-given responsibility as vision keeper. The problem of control worsened after the miracle at Cana: "After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they stayed there a few days" (John 2:12). The verse reads, "He and His mother" went to Capernaum. Do you see? Mary, the keeper of the vision, has taken what she thinks is a legitimate position, an earned place of influence, with Christ. In defense of Mary, she clearly has been with Jesus the longest; she has paid the highest price. More than anyone, she has heard the Word and believed it; her faith has borne Christ Himself! She has magnificently served the purposes of God. Perhaps she had every right to think that Christ could work the miracles as long as she remained a guiding influence. Her continued mothering was not evil but natural. However, God had determined it was time for Jesus to be unfettered from all human influences of control. Jesus would now only do the things He saw His Father do. This, I believe, is where God is jealously directing us: We are being emptied of our agendas, false expectations, and nonbiblical traditions so that Christ alone will be Lord over the church. God is requiring a fresh surrender of the vision keepers. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Adapted from a lesson in Francis Frangipane's online course, In Christ's Image Training. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
December 2, 2022
Brokenness Creates Openness
By Francis Frangipane
Up until the moment Christ enters our lives, surrounding our souls there exists a hard outer shell, a "survival nature," which protects us against life's harshest offenses. The shell is necessary while we are in the world, but becomes an enemy to our new life in Christ, where the nature of Christ becomes our shelter. Thus, as the shell of a seed, a nut or an egg must be broken before its inner life comes forth, so it is with us: the "shell" of our outer nature must also break in order to free the Spirit of Christ to arise in our hearts.
This need to be broken is recorded in Luke 20. Jesus Christ described Himself as the very cornerstone and source of life itself. Yet, as such, He also said that He was, "The stone which the builders rejected" (vs 17). We say we believe in Him, yet how we often reject the wisdom of His words when we build our lives! This self-sufficiency and self-will is what must break before we can ever fulfill the will of God, which is Christlikeness. It is only because we are still unbroken that we trust the ways of men rather than God.
Yet, Jesus warned, "Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust" (Luke 20:18). He is saying that, ultimately, only two types of people will remain: the broken and those scattered like dust. Only the broken can survive the coming glory of God. We either fall and break on Christ or He will fall upon us and scatter us like dust.
God brings low those He plans to use. Consider our spiritual heroes: Joseph, Moses, David. Each suffered an extended time of wounding and breaking until they became low enough for God to raise them up. Or consider the early disciples: they enjoyed limited success working with Jesus, but in His most crucial hour they all failed Him. Even the inner circle of Peter, James and John failed the Lord. They slept at a time when Jesus desperately needed their prayer and companionship. In cowardice, they denied they ever knew Him. Yet, their failure did not disqualify them. Amazingly, because God used their failure to produce humility, they received qualifying grace. On Pentecost, God raised them up in power to represent the risen Christ!
Failure functionalizes our capacity to live more perfectly dependent on Christ. It causes us to more genuinely rely upon the Lord for wisdom, virtue and strength. It cripples our strength, turning the heart away from itself. We learn to fall upon Christ and, though broken to pieces, the Son of God can now flow out through us to others.
Sin is not our worst enemy; worse than sin is "self." Thus, as a hammer is to the shell of a walnut, so are our mistakes in the hands of our Heavenly Father;
God uses them to unlock our spiritual inner nature. On the other hand, if we do not bring our failures to God in humility and repentance, they actually cause the opposite effect: they can create a thicker outer hardness. We may become cynical and angry, blaming others for our difficulties. If we do not see the Lord orchestrating our circumstances, we become entombed in our humanity, never able to see the true life of Christ emerge through us.
Let me also clarify that Jesus said that He would not break "a bruised reed." For those who come to Him devastated by tragedy, Jesus immediately seeks to bring healing. God's goal in all things is to create within us dependency upon Him. We either come with brokenness or He will supply it.
Wheat and Tares
Another means of breaking comes in how we deal with offenses. We live in an imperfect world for a reason: God seeks to perfect character here. In Matthew 13, Jesus explained that two types of people grow side by side in the kingdom: one He called "wheat" and the other "tares." He sowed wheat, but an enemy came later and sowed tares. Until the harvest, the appearance of tares is quite similar to wheat. Thus, when asked if the tares should be uprooted, the farmer (Jesus) said, "No; lest while you are gathering up the tares, you may root up the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest" (vs 29 30).
Why will Jesus let wheat and tares grow side by side? Tares perfect the character of the wheat. Why wait until the harvest? Because it is only then that the difference between wheat and tares becomes evident. At harvest, the wheat head, full of mature grain, bows, while the tares remain stiff and unbending. The contrast is plain: the bowed versus the unbowed; the humble versus the straight and stiff necked.
This parable also tells us that we have no right to judge, uproot or even try to "discern" the tares before the harvest time; even Jesus will not remove them until then. The question we need to ask is not, "Who is a tare?" but "Am I truly a wheat?" Remember, prior to the harvest, the differences, outwardly, are indistinguishable. In fact, both survive the storms, droughts and blights that strike each equally. Yet, one produces grain, while the other is barren; one becomes valuable, while the other is gathered to be burned.
God allows the tares to grow side by side with the wheat to perfect Christlikeness in the wheat. When offended, the wheat humbly forgives; when faced with conflict or failure, the wheat does not blame others. In fact, the wheat does not even judge the tares, it prays for them. That's how you know you are a wheat. On the other hand, the tares cannot deal with the imperfections of the wheat; they judge the wheat, and other tares as well. They become angry, bitter at life and easily offended. They are the unbroken. You know you are becoming a tare if, instead of interceding for the imperfections of people around you, you simply criticize them. If you carry offenses from years ago and still blame people for your failure, you are avoiding the wheat, you are becoming a tare. At its essence, the difference between the wheat and tares is the measure of love functioning in each; the wheat is able to truly bow to its Creator.
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus, I see and abhor my old nature. I shun the prison of a hardened heart. I choose to fall upon You. May I remain broken so You don’t have to break me. May I minister to the tares as You did as a Friend of sinners.

Sin is not our worst enemy; worse than sin is "self." Thus, as a hammer is to the shell of a walnut, so are our mistakes in the hands of our Heavenly Father;

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Obtaining the Endorsement of God By Francis Frangipane If we will gain God's greatest blessings, we must embrace His highest purpose. The Workmanship of God: Christlikeness In the last days, God's word promises that the "mountain of the house of the Lord will be established" (Isa 2:2). Our sincere conviction is that if this dwelling place of God truly emerges in our cities, it will transform entire regions and great revival will emerge. However, I would make it clear from the beginning, if our goal is anything other than becoming a home for Jesus, this truth will simply become another "wind of doctrine"; we will again be blown off course. Without the abiding fullness of Christ in the church, we will have no more impact in the world than a political party, whose strength rests in numbers and not God. Consequently, there are two priorities every serious Christian should recognize. We need to return to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ; and we desperately need divine intervention or our nation will perish. In the ninetieth Psalm, Moses uttered a prayer that everyone who has had enough of their feeble efforts should also pray. In somber and earnest supplication he implored, "Let Thy work appear to Thy servants, and Thy majesty to their children. And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and do confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands" (Psalm 90:16-17). This is a heartfelt prayer, full of deep thought and candid reflection. Moses was not willing to "try something" and ask the Lord to bless it. He prayed, "Let Thy work appear..." He appealed to God to confirm (margin: "establish") the works of his hands. What is divine confirmation? It is where the Lord works through your efforts and backs up your words with His power (Mk 16:20; Heb 2:4). God identifies Himself fully with what you are doing. Moses was praying for the endorsement of the Almighty upon his life. I want to underscore that we have peace with God through Christ's sacrifice. We are not looking for divine acceptance, but divine endorsement. The question is not one of salvation, but of power in this life to change our world. How then can we truly know that we have found God's highest purposes for us? How can we, like Moses, obtain the endorsement of Almighty God? If we would find permanence to our works, they must be the eternal works of God and not more of man's ideas. Jesus said, "For the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me" (Jn 5:36). Ultimately, we only glorify God when we, like Jesus, accomplish the work which He has given us to do (Jn 17:4). You may question, "Does God have eternal, enduring assignments for me?" Yes, but the first "work of God" that is accomplished in us is not our work but His, that we "believe in Him whom He has sent" (Jn 6:29). We must abandon all hope of finding true spiritual success apart from dependent, steadfast faith in the person and power of Jesus Christ. This forsaking of our ideas to embrace simple obedience to Christ is the "work of God." We cannot attain the works of God unless we become the "workmanship" of God. As Paul wrote, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Eph 2:10). At this very moment, there are eternal, powerful works prepared for each of us. Yet, until we see that the Father's highest purpose is to reveal in us the nature of Christ, we will not qualify for the power of Christ, which is God's full endorsement upon our lives. The Mystery of God's Will If we will find the eternal works of God, we must know His eternal plan. The ultimate plan of God is stated clearly in the Scriptures. Paul wrote, "He made known to us the mystery of His will...with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things upon the earth" (Eph 1:9-10). The eternal purpose of God is to sum up all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things upon the earth. He desires to bring the living Christ into each of us as individuals; then, as Christ-filled individuals, we can transform the church. Finally, from the launching pad of a Christ-filled church, we will see "things in the heavens" impacted and cleansed with the Spirit of His Son. In this unfolding of the Father's plan, it is important to note that the expanse of Christ must be accomplished in sequence. That is, we cannot see Christ corporately manifested in the church until we, as individuals, embrace true Christlikeness; nor can we plunder the heavenly places until we unite with other congregations as Christ's church. God's will is that the church should not be divided, but united as a glorious temple, a living house for His Son. Concerning the heavenly places, God has blessed the church with "every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places" (Eph 1:3)! This realm does not belong to Satan, but is part of our inheritance in Christ. It is the eternal wisdom and purpose of God to reveal Christ "through the church"; not only to the world, but unto the "rulers and authorities [principalities and powers] in the heavenly places" (Eph 3:10)! Satan has continually sought to hinder and delay this "summing up of all things in Christ." Yet, such is our mission; and in knowing the plan of God, such is our victory. Therefore, in spiritual warfare, in battling for the soul of our cities and our nation, our victory is not in knowing how to command demons, but in knowing the Commander Himself. We triumph in being rightly aligned with the supreme plan of God, which is to fill all things with Christ. Thus, if we would obtain the endorsement of God upon our lives, Jesus must become as real to us as the world was when we were sinners. He must become our mind and we His obedient body. Throughout our lives, the Holy Spirit will continue to establish this vision, which is the Father's singular goal in creation. As we press toward this upward call of Christlikeness, our lives will begin to manifest and attain the prepared, eternal works of God. We will attain the quality of life which God Himself backs with power. Let's pray: Lord Jesus, we recognize our desperate and total need of You. Lord, how we cry for the restoration of Your fullness to the church! Forgive us for trusting in our programs and ideas; especially pardon us for avoiding You. O God, let Your works appear to Your servants, and Your majesty to our children; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands. Amen.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Enter Their Gates With Thanksgiving
By Francis Frangipane
I'd like to share what I believe is a means to discovering the life of God. I am speaking of possessing a thankful heart. It is truly a place of immunity from the demonic and fleshly storms that come our way in life.
Of course, there are some people that test not only our character but also our sanity. I remember visiting a church and seeing a sign in the pastor's office over the door. It read, "Everyone who walks through this door makes me happy: some when they enter the room and others when they leave."
Well, that's one way to keep our spirits up, but it's not exactly what I mean. I'm saying we can be thankful that God is with us no matter who walks through the door. In fact, the Bible tells us to "rejoice always . . . [and] in everything give thanks." (1 Thess. 5:16, 18). The Word doesn't say thank God for everything, but thank Him in everything. In every battle there is a place where we can find God. In every conflict there exists a spiritual means to ascend into God's presence, where we can ride out the storm.
A thankful spirit sustains us when we otherwise would faint. It makes us alive to the awareness of God's nearness. The truth is, that no matter what trial we are in, God is there with us. A thankful spirit acknowledges Him, identifying His blessings and appropriating His gifts; gratitude escorts us into the presence of God.
Even Trouble-Makers
The value of gratitude goes beyond transforming our hearts, it can also transform the people who are near us. Certainly, we can see what's wrong with people, but have we ever actually thanked God for them, even the trouble-makers? You see, without them, we would never mature spiritually! They thrust us out of ourselves, causing us to rely more completely upon the help of God.
Yet, gratitude is actually a form of spiritual warfare, especially when it comes to healing human relationships. True, there are times when, for a variety of reasons, people are not open to us and they shun our initiatives for peace or reconciliation. However, I believe if we were more genuinely appreciative of them, in time they might relax their guard and open up.
You see, not only is Jerusalem surrounded by walls and gates, our souls also are protected by barriers; we too have walls and gates surrounding our lives. We have "eye gates" and "ear gates" that allow influences into our soul. But we are not open to everyone. We've learned to protect ourselves instinctively from emotionally damaging people. On the other hand, the words of loving, appreciative people inspire us to drop our guard and let them in. Just as God requires we enter His gates with thanksgiving, so it is with human nature, for we are made in God's image. If we expect others to open up to us, it is important we express our gratitude for the good we see in them.
Of course, people do not have to be perfect for us to appreciate godly elements in their character or personality. When I voice my gratitude for a specific quality or virtue that I see in another, I affirm and strengthen that virtue. By so doing, I also gain their trust.
For example, if you're not thankful for your teenagers, your disappointment with them will push them away from you. The Bible says that a "false balance is an abomination to the Lord" (Prov. 11:1). Sometimes we can be so focused on the negatives in our kids that we drive them away. We communicate with anger and disgust, weary of the battle we've been having with them. Yet, if we take time and sincerely communicate the things we appreciate about them (and those things are there. You must just find them), your teens will relax their guard.
Parents, as an experiment, dismiss for several weeks the obligatory criticisms you usually express when you and your kids are together. Instead, tell them the things you appreciate about them. You see, each of us needs to know we are appreciated at least for something. Even God responds positively to praise! Such reinforcement empowers our desires to do well and increases our sense of self-worth and value.
Acceptance: Oxygen For The Soul
Because God has designed us to be social creatures, we each enter the world with an innate desire for acceptance. By appreciating our loved ones, we affirm and help settle their quest for acceptance, without which they might otherwise be compelled toward ungodly associations. Just as when property appreciates it increases in value, so when we appreciate our loved ones, destructive tendencies created by self-hatred and fear of rejection diminish proportionally. By appreciating what we see as right in people, their soul nurses on the life of love and acceptance.
You see, there's something like radar inside the human heart that senses the displeasure of others. Displeasure and ingratitude are like a repellent to human relationships. People think, if I can't measure up --- if you can't see anything good in me --- I'll go where people will accept me as I am. Thanksgiving brings our loved ones closer to us rather than driving them away.
At the same time, I know people in marriages that, every time they get together, they wind up discussing what's wrong with their relationship. Why not take a few weeks and shift the focus to appreciating what's right in each other?
Some of us have been ungrateful, gossiping and grumbling. So, for those in particular, I'm calling for a thirty-day fast. From what? Let's fast from ingratitude. For the next thirty days, each time you would have complained, grumbled or been ungrateful about something or someone, focus instead on things for which you are thankful. Make a list of at least seven people in your world that you know fairly well and write down seven things in each of their lives for which you are appreciative. Over the next two or three weeks, tell them how much you appreciate this or that quality you've observed in them. Finally, let's see if most of these very people do not begin to automatically open up when you draw near; let's see if you can't enter their gates with thanksgiving.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Those Who Sigh and Groan
By Francis Frangipane
The true church is a child in the womb of God; what the Almighty feels affects us. We absorb into our spiritual DNA the great loves of God: His passions become our passions.
Yet there are also things that the Lord hates. Without becoming self-righteous, we must allow ourselves to feel the Lord's hatred for sin and injustice. That is, we must receive into our spirits His attitude concerning the unrestrained advance of hell in our world.
I am thinking of Ezekiel. The prophet was commanded to walk through sinful Jerusalem and take note, not only of its perversity, but those who were repelled and distressed by it. In fact, the Lord said to Ezekiel, "Go through the midst of the city . . . and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst" (Ezek. 9:4).
There is too much tolerance in the church today. We are too accommodating of things that the Word of God condemns. When abominations are being mainstreamed into the consciousness of the church and it doesn’t trouble us, something is wrong in our conscience. Yes, there is a godly tolerance that is patient with human frailties, and true, we can compromise in many peripheral issues as we reach to a greater good, but we must not lose the power of our convictions. When hell advances and sin is celebrated, we must not retreat into a passive tolerance. We cannot say we carry within us the heart of God and yet be silent concerning the evil in our world.
The Lord continued His word to the prophet saying judgment would come to all except anyone “on whom is the mark” (Ezek. 9:6). Remember, the “mark” identified those who felt the passions of God concerning evil. I know that many of us have lived with heartache concerning the sins of our society. What once was expressed in outrage by many has now become barely a whisper of inner vexation.
Yet concerning those who compromise, who don’t sigh and groan, the Lord told Ezekiel to “start [the judgment] from My sanctuary" (v. 6). As church leaders, as pastors and intercessors, as fathers and mothers, we must not be afraid to express our heartache and distress over sin. We must stand up and push back against evil -- caring about what happens in our inner cities and schools, and refusing to ingest the slime that parades in our world as entertainment.
Jesus said, "Blessed are they that mourn" (Matt. 5:4). If the church today isn't a revelation of the heart of Christ, even in mourning over wickedness, then we are positioning ourselves outside the passions of God. Remember the Lord’s rebuke to the church in Thyatira, that they tolerated the woman Jezebel (Rev. 2:20). It is the tolerance that puts us at risk.
The Mark of the Cross
The Lord told Ezekiel to put a mark on the forehead of those who were distressed about the abominations in their world. The Hebrew word for this designated "mark" was the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, "tau." Its symbol was that of a cross without the top, similar to our letter "T." In fact, this sign was often used in first century Christianity as the symbol of the cross. Looking at it from God's eternal perspective, it was as though the Lord said to Ezekiel, essentially, "Put a cross on the foreheads of those who grieve over sin."
As far as we know, the word the Lord spoke to the prophet was never fulfilled in Ezekiel’s lifetime; it never manifest as a physical reality. As best as we can tell, no one prior to Israel's exile to Babylon was physically marked on the forehead with the sign of a tau; no one was slain who hadn't groaned and sighed.
Yet the Book of Revelation declares that prior to the judgments of tribulation the Almighty shall send forth His angels, and they will seal the bondservants of God. The seal or "mark" on their foreheads shall identify them and protect them during times of judgment and plagues. This seal of God shall be a shield of immunity in the days ahead. There are many interpretations of what this mark will actually be, but I wonder if God is still seeking to identify those who have not grown comfortable, those who still "sigh and groan" over the abominations of their land?
Dear friends, let me speak perfectly clear: too many of us are entertained by things we should weep over. God destroyed the world during Noah's day because of violence, yet we sit in front of television screens and are amused by it. We see tragedies on newscasts and are hardly affected. Of course, the Lord does not want us to be unthankful, unbelieving, nor focused only upon what is wrong, for much is good, and in many places Heaven too is advancing. We must walk in the full bloom of the fruit of the Spirit. Yet a portion of our hearts, that which feels the Lord’s passions, must be free to express our grief to God in prayer.
One last thing: I believe we could see major breakthroughs in the upcoming years, but we will need to let ourselves feel again the heartache of God. Even now, the angels of God are marking those who sigh and groan.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Prayer Changed the Mind of God
By Francis Frangipane
The visible glory of God descended, then manifested on the top of Mt. Sinai. As many as six million Israelites heard the audible voice of God speaking to them from the majestic fire. The entire nation quaked and trembled in holy fear. In response, Israel's leaders begged Moses that no further words be spoken to them by God. Moses agreed, then turned and ascended the mountaintop and entered this frightening holy blaze where He remained for forty days. (See Exodus 19:17-20:19; 24:18.)
Incredibly, when Moses delayed his return, the Israelites began to rebel, making for themselves an idol, a golden calf, similar to the idols of Egypt. They did this in full view of the glory of God, defying His glory with their outrageous idolatry. (See Exodus 32:1-8.)
Nothing angers the living God more than man's idolatry, and this brazen act was enough to have destroyed all Israel, both the sinners and also those who saw their sin and did nothing to stop it. In response, the Lord said to Moses,
"I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people. Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them, and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation" (Exod. 32:9-10).
This is an amazing verse. It reveals something of the inner workings of the divine mind. I am thinking in particular of the Lord's statement: "Let Me alone." The implication is that if the Lord is "alone" -- that is, without an intercessor to appeal to His mercy -- divine wrath can be fully expressed. Conversely, the opposite is also true: wrath can be restrained if we, as intercessors, do not withdraw our entreaty.
As long as Moses does not withdraw from prayer, there is a mercy opportunity that is being made possible.
The goal of an intercessor is to remain in prayer; i.e., to "not let God alone." This is not to imply that we are more merciful or forgiving than God. That would be quite untrue. What is true, though, is that some measure of divine grace and forgiveness -- an unreasonable measure -- is reserved in God's heart and only escorted to earth by human intercession. God's holiness demands that sin be punished; His mercy, however, triumphs over judgment and can be enlisted by prayer.
Our quest is to unite in oneness with the mercy of God. Conversely, the devil's goal is to create the opposite relationship between us and God where we act, not as an intercessor, but as an accuser. Satan seeks to embitter us against our loved ones and associates, neighbors and nation so that our desires are not redemptive but accusatory and judgmental.
Peter tells husbands to not be embittered against their wives so that their "prayers will not be hindered" (1 Pet. 3:7). Underline this truth: bitterness hinders intercession. The Lord desires we climb into His very thought-processes in extending mercy to earth. The mercy-oriented intercessor attracts the full attention of God.
The Lord declared, "Let Me alone!" Yet Moses refused. Instead, he reminds the Lord of His promises for Israel as well as the Lord's relationship with Israel's forefathers: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exod. 32:11-13). Too many intercessors misinterpret the Lord's initial pushback and report, erroneously, that God has exhausted His mercy. He has not. In fact, His mercies are new every morning. Moses' answer was to prevail upon God's love. He reminds the Lord of His purpose, repeats the Lord's promise, and he does not stop praying for Israel.
Moses became a mature intercessor. He stayed close to God, prevailing in prayer. Even though the Lord said He could start over and make of Moses a great nation, Moses ignored the prospect. He knew all people would have times of sin and failure. Moses had come too far to start over. This journey was about a covenant that was made with Israel's forefathers.
Remember, your prayer assignment is to bring an imperfect people with a promise from God into fulfillment. The intercessor's role is to pray from the beginning of that journey, through the valleys of sin and setbacks, and continue praying until the promise from God is obtained.
You may be a pastor of a church or an intercessor or a parent. Regardless, whoever you are praying for, you must have this attitude: "Lord, I am not letting You alone concerning my loved one."
When I pray, my focus is for mercy and grace to fall. I agree with God that wrath is justified because of man's sin, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring conviction of sin. Yet my main focus is for mercy and correction to come. I know that mercy triumphs over judgment.
The Result
The result of Moses' intercession is utterly amazing:
"So the Lord changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people" (Exod. 32:14).
May this be a revelation to us all! Moses' prayer changed God's mind!
Much of how God relates to the future of a nation is based upon how the people in that society pray. The Spirit has made one truth plain to me: the future of a society does not belong to sinners; it belongs to those who pray. Thus, Jesus tells His disciples that whatever two of them agree on "about anything that they may ask" (Matt. 18:19), it will be granted by the heavenly Father. Two or three servants of God who refuse to abandon their faithfulness in prayer can release the unfailing mercy of God into their world.
For Moses and the Israelites, the outcome was profound: "The Lord changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people" (Exod. 32:14).
Think of it: prayer changed the mind of God.
Lord, thank You for always remaining open to our cries. Help me to persevere, to give You no rest, until You fulfill Your highest purposes with my family, church and nation. Thank You that one voice is not too feeble that You cannot hear it. Master, I stand in the gap for those I love. Reveal Your mercy to them.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
As It Is in Heaven!
By Francis Frangipane
We live in unparalleled times. More Scriptures have been fulfilled in the last century than any similar period since the time of Christ. Indeed, great multitudes are still hearing about Christ and being born again into God's kingdom, and this will continue unabated until the physical return of Christ.
Yet, I often hear Christians fretting, worrying about world conditions. It is almost as though, even as believers, we get total absorbed with the negative issues of our lives. Beloved, we must not lose our perspective: God and time are on our side. Indeed, many who are reading my words today will one day see on Earth the Scripture fulfilled: "every knee will bow . . . and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Phil. 2:10-11).
Everyone -- Muslim, Hindu, atheist, drug dealer, world leaders -- all will bow and confess Jesus as Lord!
Right now the process of knees bowing and tongues confessing Jesus as Lord is happening worldwide at a phenomenal pace. This information should fill every Christian with joy. But remember, our joy comes from the Lord, and His joy comes most from seeing sinners repent and find salvation. Thus, let us learn from the word Jesus told His disciples. He said, "Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'?" Rather, He says, "Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white [ripe] for harvest" (John 4:35).
Understanding the Shaking
Yet, one may argue that the world as we've known it is shaking and there is much instability. Last I checked, the foundation in the Kingdom of God remains firm. So, I must ask: are you building your life on the world system or building upon the rock of Christ's word? You see, Heaven is advancing into the societies of mankind and it is confronting the systems of man and the strongholds of the devil.
In America, every coin or bill that serves as currency has our national motto written on the back: In God We Trust. Perhaps what we need is an awakening that transfers the national motto to being the motto of the church. Until that happens, we will feel shaken by world events.
Yet, I believe this shaking many feel is, most of the time, a good thing. Let me explain: Paul wrote that our struggle was not with people, but against "the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Eph. 6:12). Paul mentions two realities in particular: he speaks of powers and heavenly places. "Powers" are a hierarchal classification of demons that exerts levels of influence over regions, nations and cities. These powers operate out of the spirit realm, which the Bible identifies as the "heavenly places." (For clarification, when the Bible speaks of "Heaven," it refers to the abode of God, saints and the unfallen angels; when it speaks of the "heavenly places" or "the heavens," it is speaking of the spiritual realm surrounding man's consciousness.) It is in this spiritual dimension, the heavenly places, where we war against the world forces of darkness.
A classic peek at this war in the spirit realm is seen in Daniel, chapter ten, where an angel tells the prophet that "the prince of the kingdom of Persia [withstood him] for twenty-one days" (v. 13), thus delaying his arrival. There was an evil spiritual power ruling over Persia – titled a "prince" – that actually hindered the angel who was sent to Daniel. Paul updates this revelation and says that these ruling forces of wickedness, though unseen, exert their hellish influence all over the world. Satan's plan has not been to destroy the Earth, but to rule it.
Yet, Jesus explains that, as the days of His return draw near, the struggle against these world rulers would change dramatically, to the point that these "powers of the heavens will be shaken" (Matt. 24:29). The book of Hebrews gives further insights into this shaking, saying that it "denotes the removing of those things [in the heavens] which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain" (see Heb. 12:26-27).
You see, a realm of darkness is destined to be evicted from Planet Earth and the realm of God's kingdom will progressively take its place. Indeed, the time of the end is really an overlapping of two ages: a collision of the realm of Light advancing into, undermining, and then toppling the realm of darkness (see Isaiah 25:6-12; Rev. 11:15; Matt. 24:14; Matt. 13; etc.). This is what we saw in the crumbling of the Soviet Union; almost overnight this atheistic government collapsed, opening the way for worldwide evangelism like never before.
Breakthroughs Abounding
Because we live in a season of accelerated change, our message is in transition. We will always offer salvation to the lost, yet as the Kingdom of Heaven draws near, so our message will increasingly not only teach and demonstrate the wonders of Heaven, we will also herald of the King.
For now, it is vital to align ourselves with Christ. Jesus said the last message proclaimed on earth will be His Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 24:14). It will be proclaimed as a witness to all nations before the end. In anticipation, the Holy Spirit has been leading many evangelical pastors to study and teach the Gospel of the Kingdom.
How to Pray
The same inspiration that is leading multitudes to desire the Kingdom of God is also inspiring multitudes to pray for the nations. As we watch the shaking occur in the world, we must not just watch; we must "watch and pray" (Mark 13:33 KJV). Nations in the balance can fall toward Heaven or collapse into hell. The kingdom advances on the prayers of the saints, so pray for the Kingdom of God to rule over the turmoil.
Let us also pray exactly as Jesus said, "Beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers" (Luke 10:2), especially when we see nations in upheaval. Beloved, these are amazing days to be alive. We are called to actually participate in the fulfillment of the great prayer of Christ: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
October 21, 2022
In God's Tabernacle
By Francis Frangipane
Jesus warned of the deception which would occur at the end of the age. When we consider His words, we instinctively think of false teachers and prophets; and these will, indeed, mislead many (see Matthew 24). But there is another dimension to the enemy's tactics that is, perhaps, even more dangerous. For we may actually know the truth, but be too preoccupied and distracted to obey it. If this is the case, greater judgment will fall on us than upon him who did not know God's will at all.
Jesus warned, "Be on guard, that your hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day come on you suddenly like a trap" (Luke 21:34).
To dissipate means "to fritter away; employ aimlessly; squander; be wasteful." Besides giving us His grace, the second most important gift Christ has given us is time. If we do not have time, we cannot develop spiritually in any of God's other gifts or resources. If we fail to make time for the service of God, we will be unprepared for this day which, Jesus said, "will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth" (Luke 21:35). The day of the Lord will not be an occasion of joy; it will come upon the distracted like a trap.
Over and again the Lord warned that those who put Him off now will be put off by Him later (see Matt. 24:36 - 25:46; Luke 13:24 - 30; John 12:47 - 48). They will seek His protection, but He will not provide it. Why? It takes time to grow in the ways, knowledge and grace of God, and it is this very growth which creates within us the spiritual shelter of the Most High. Today is the day to prepare for tomorrow; to wait for tomorrow to ready ourselves will be too late.
In the Inner Court
In the book of Revelation there is a marvel. John writes, "And there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, 'Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it' " (Rev. 11:1). John was commanded to measure the "temple of God." When John's vision came, it should be noted that the physical temple in Jerusalem had been reduced to rubble for over twenty years. Thus, the apostle was not commanded to measure the physical temple but the spiritual temple. The church is the spiritual temple.
He was told to measure the altar and those who worship in it. In other words, he was commanded to measure those who have presented themselves as living sacrifices to God. These are the souls who have poured out their lives upon the altar of sacrifice (Phil. 2:17); they have learned the secret of abiding in the holy place with God.
Yet John also was told, "Leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread underfoot the holy city for forty-two months" (Rev. 11:2).
There are three distinct groups identified to John in this vision: those who worship at God's altar, those immediately outside the temple, and the nations that will tread underfoot the holy city for 3 1/2 years. The "nations," in this context, represent those who shall persecute the unprepared church, which was in the court "outside the temple." Those who worship at the altar are those who, through love and perseverance, dwell in the secret place with God at the end of the age.
Neither Male Nor Female, But Christ
The court that was outside the temple was actually part of the temple grounds and was contained within the wall surrounding the entire temple enclosure. It was called the "court of women and gentiles." Only the priests, who were male in gender, could serve in the inner courts of God.
This does not mean that, today, women cannot enter the Holy Place; it means women must become "sons." To be a son of God is to ascend beyond the boundaries of gender until we attain the character of the living Christ. Women must crucify reliance upon the flesh with its seductions, manipulations, fears and jealousies; men must put to death rebellion and spiritual irresponsibility; competition, ambition, pride and intimidation must likewise die. All the works of the flesh must die at the cross, that God's one Son, Christ, might come forth in each surrendered, transformed soul.
A "son," Paul says, "is neither male nor female" (Gal. 3:28). God's sons are individuals who have literally "clothed [themselves] with Christ" (v. 27). They are fully submitted to Him as their source of identification. They are bold, yet meek; free yet slaves; uncompromising in vision, yet tolerant toward the weak. To leave the "court of women and gentiles," regardless of one's gender, we all must leave the deception of our flesh nature and press into the Presence of the Living God. In our spirits, we must become "a holy temple in the Lord . . . a dwelling of God in the Spirit" (Eph. 2:21 - 22).
In the last moments of this age, there will be those who, although they live on earth, consciously dwell in the tabernacle of God in heaven. They have made the Person of Christ their treasure, and where their treasure is, there their heart is also (Matt. 6:21).
In contrast to those who abide with Christ, there will be those who profess Christianity, but have never truly taken Christ's commandments, promises and warnings seriously. When the times of judgment come, they will be found unprepared for God.
I would fail in my service to Christ if I did not warn you of the Master's return and the purity and preparation He requires of His church. Yet, He also gives us His unfailing promise: a place of protection, high and secure, full of spiritual authority and graced with power. The Stronghold of God is the manifest dwelling place of those who abide at His altar and worship in it.
Lord, how easily distracted I am, how dissipated by the things of this age. Master, I want one thing: to dwell in Your house all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and meditate in Your temple. This day I choose to ascend in worship to Your throne.
This day I determine to live in view of Your glory. Joyfully, I enter the Place of Immunity with You. Amen.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Latter Rain By Francis Frangipane The phrase "latter rain" can mean different things to different people. To its critics, it is a movement that promotes doctrinal heresy. To many others, however, the phrase "latter rain," though slightly antiquated, is a term used by the King James Bible to describe the final, worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit before Christ returns. Although I do not personally use the term "latter rain," I do believe in this last great move of God. In fact, I have held this vision since 1970. Admittedly, my faith was tested during the 1970s, when many church leaders were predicting the end of the world. Frankly, not many actively believed there would be a great harvest during the seventies and eighties. However, in 1990, with the stunning collapse of Soviet communism, an accelerated era of worldwide evangelism truly began. Since then, the Holy Spirit has brought hundreds of millions into the kingdom of God. Thus, in spite of wars and other difficulties, my focus remains fixed on the great work of the Holy Spirit in these last days. The last great outpouring will not end until the Spirit of God has been poured out "upon all mankind" (Acts 2:17). "All" means all. It means God is serious about reaching Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and other religions. Indeed, the Lord is so passionate about the lost that He says He will "grant" undeniable "wonders in the sky above" and incontrovertible "signs on the earth" (see Acts 2:19-20). I wholeheartedly believe that, during this last great move, we will see the true church united, many believers raised to Christlike maturity and a great harvest. So, you decide: Is the doctrine of worldwide evangelism a heresy? Or is Christ-centered unity among believers a false doctrine? Is reaching for Christlike purity and power a deception? Remember, I am not saying life will get easy. The truth is, many already are dying for their faith. Yet, "those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting" (see Psalm 126). Jesus said the harvest was plentiful (Luke 10:2). And, I agree with those who warn of the spread of the apostate church; there is, indeed, deep darkness upon the earth. But it is in these very conditions that the Lord commands us to arise and be radiant with His glory. His promise is that nations shall come to our light and kings to the brightness of His rising (see Isaiah 60:1-3). The end of the age is a time of both darkness and light (see 1 Thessalonians 5:4-5). We must see both. The Bible and the Latter Rain Still, the issue is not what I say about the latter rain or what the critics say, but what does the Bible teach? The phrase "latter rain" comes from several places in the Scriptures; the most prominent perhaps is from the book of James. Speaking of the Lord’s return, the apostle writes: "Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand" (James 5:7-8 NKJV). James is talking specifically about "the coming of the Lord." Many first century Christians expected the Lord to return in their lifetimes. They experienced the initial outpouring of the Spirit; they saw miracles, growth and multiplication. Yet, still the Lord did not come. Thus, James encourages the church to "be patient," saying there is something yet to come for which God is waiting. In this verse, the apostle frames all of church history metaphorically between two seasons of spiritual outpouring, which he calls the "early and latter rain." Agriculturally, it was understood that the early rains awakened the newly planted seeds and initiated the process of growth. Then, after several dry months, the latter rains came that revitalized the harvest and brought it to maturity (see also Deuteronomy 11:14; Joel 2:23; Zechariah 10:1, all King James version). You see, God had much more on His heart than the early Christians anticipated. The church saw a limited outpouring that fell upon a smaller world. The truth was that both the world and the final outpouring is proving to be much larger. Bible Scholars and the Latter Rain It is important to note that a number of Bible scholars also support the idea of a second outpouring. Charles Wesley interpreted James 5:7, saying, "The husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit - Which will recompense his labour and patience. Till he receives the former rain - Immediately after sowing. And the latter - Before the harvest." Wesley wrote, "the latter" rain came "before the harvest" (or the end of the age). Research this yourself. Look up Jamieson, Fausset and Brown’s commentary on James 5:7. They explained: "The early rain fell at sowing time, about November or December; the latter rain, about March or April, to mature the grain for harvest. The latter rain that shall precede the coming spiritual harvest, will probably be another Pentecost-like effusion of the Holy Ghost". This isn’t Charismatic chaos! It New Testament theology, and Jamieson, Fausset and Brown are distinguished, time-tested scholars who wrote their Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible in 1871. Plainly, we are to expect a special outpouring. This is not "manifest sons" doctrine nor "kingdom now" theology. This doesn’t mean there aren’t churches in all forms of apostasy; nations will still be judged at the end of the age. We are simply stating, according to the word of God, that between now and when Jesus Christ returns, there will be another great outpouring, and that we are in the beginning of that outpouring now. Do Not Be Afraid My friends, the enemy has put a blockade of false warnings, fear and accusation around one of the most powerful end time realities: the final work of the Holy Spirit to bring the gospel worldwide! I am not saying we should be naïve or blind to all that is wrong in the church, but neither should we be blind to what God is doing. To have faith for this outpouring is not heretical, even if it seems like heresy to those in unbelief. Therefore, do not fear being labeled a "heretic" when you speak of your vision. Pray for your nation with confidence, without intimidation, knowing that the reality of the latter rain is occurring even as we speak. Remember, hundreds of millions have come into the kingdom of God over these last years - revival can occur in your nation as well! Consider the growth of the church in China, from ten million in 1974 to over 100 million today. We are in the time of outpouring, beloved, whether critics agree with it or not! The world only sees the headlines from hell, yet the gospel of the kingdom is advancing. God will not stop until "all nations" hear the gospel. In truth, a time is coming when, as suddenly as the Soviet Union collapsed, so the stronghold of Islam will crumble as well. God has determined to reach to the Muslim world, and once again, "wise men from the east" will come looking for Him who was born King of the Jews. Yes, even radicalized Muslims will look upon the Son of God and, in their new found freedom, they will love Christ most fervently. Indeed, the Lord shall even reveal Himself to key Islamic rulers, individuals whose influence will draw multitudes closer to Jesus Christ. "Thus He will sprinkle many nations, kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; for what had not been told them they will see, and what they had not heard they will understand" (Isaiah 52:15). Whether the breakthrough occurs in the immediate years, or tarries beyond a decade or more, an awakening is destined for the Muslim world. Just as the Lord has promised, He will pour out His Spirit upon all mankind (see Acts 2:17). Thus, the last, great outpouring shall reach all cultures of the world, and "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Unshakable Kingdom
By Francis Frangipane
When the Earth Shakes
There is something happening in the earth. Massive earthquakes. Huge death tolls. Unprecedented storms. It may all be a coincidence, but I cannot help but call to mind the Lord's word, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven" (Heb. 12:26). There is certainly a great shaking occurring in the nations.
Remember, Jesus warned that "great earthquakes" would be part of a variety of natural calamities, which He called "birth pangs," that would introduce the end times (Luke 21:11; Matt. 24:8; Mark 13:8). In other words, He told us to expect natural disasters to increase both in magnitude and frequency, as though the earth itself was recoiling against the weight of sin. As Isaiah said, "The earth is shaken violently . . . it totters like a shack, for its transgression is heavy upon it" (Isa. 24:19-20).
If we are, indeed, living in the last decades of this present age, we should not expect the planet to remain calm or tranquil. God will use these calamities to draw multitudes to Himself, but we should be aware they will probably grow in severity.
Spiritual Shaking
As disasters increase, so also will fear increase, but it should not be so with us. For it is also during this time that the Lord promised that the ruling powers of darkness will be shaken from their position of influence and rule. The Lord will "shake not only the earth, but also the heaven" (Heb. 12:26, emphasis added). This verse is not referring to the highest of heavens where God dwells. The heaven mentioned here refer to the spiritual realm, also known as the "heavenly places" elsewhere in the Bible (Eph. 3:10). These "heavenly places" represent the spiritual dimension from which "the powers . . . the world forces of this darkness . . . the spiritual forces of wickedness" exert their rule over nations (Eph. 6:12).
Thus, the Lord says in Isaiah, "It will happen in that day, that the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high, and the kings of the earth on earth" (Isa. 24:21). The last great shaking will affect both the natural and spiritual realms. Likewise, Jesus warned that during the time of the end "the powers of the heavens will be shaken" (Matt 24:29). Remember, the shaking of these powers denotes the "removing" of their place of influence and rule (Heb. 12:27). In other words, every demonic stronghold that hinders the coming forth of the kingdom of God on Earth is ultimately going to be confronted by the power and authority of Heaven!
One may argue, "These verses refer to the end of the age." Yes, the finality of this twofold shaking -- things on Earth but also Heaven -- won't reach its maximum power until just before the Lord returns during the tribulation period.
However, I believe it has already begun on a certain level. Consider the former Soviet Union. Here was the largest geographic empire in the history of the world; its military was powerful beyond measure. The USSR was avowed atheistic in nature, and it spread atheism to all nations under its influence. Yet, in an amazing and unfathomably sophisticated exercise of the divine will, the Almighty judged the spiritual powers ruling Soviet Communism. The USSR fell without a violent revolution, without an insurrection or war, suddenly and dramatically it disintegrated.
Not only did this great empire implode, it was on December 25, 1991, that Mikhail Gorbachev resigned as president of the Soviet Union, effectively ending the Soviet Communist Party. The next day the Soviet parliament acknowledged the dissolution of the empire.
What a great and enduring sign! On Christmas day, the very day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the demonic power ruling the USSR was shaken and toppled from its place!
Will the Lord's final confrontation against the spiritual powers of wickedness be much more significant? Since the fall of Communism, missiologists tell us that more people have come to Christ worldwide than the sum of all conversions since the first century. Let us not overlook what has happened: a godless, evil power fell from its place of rule. Since then millions of people have come into God's kingdom! (Anyone feel like shouting here?)
Even while the physical world will suffer birth pangs, I believe we are going to see other major "powers in the heavens" come down just as dramatically as the former Soviet Union. Somehow, whether sooner or later, the power holding sway over the nations will unravel. There will be unexpected but significant breakthroughs. Nations will open to the gospel and billions will find Christ as their Savior. This is the prayer frontier God set before us right now.
We will also see major demonic powers fall in the United States. The demonic power that has blinded lawmakers and justices will be confronted and toppled. Let us, therefore, continue to pray for Supreme Court justices to be appointed who are both pro-life and God-fearing.
It seems to me that we are living when, at least on some level, the "powers of the heavens" are being shaken. Our prayers and personal involvement in the affairs of life play a major role in toppling these powers of darkness. If we do not quit praying, we will see significant changes unfold before our eyes.
Finally, let us remember that, even while things on Earth and in Heaven are being shaken, simultaneously we are receiving "a kingdom which cannot be shaken." (Heb. 12:28). Beloved, God has an unshakable kingdom to which He calls us. It is the place where Jesus rules as King, from which place every knee in Heaven and on Earth shall bow.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Extending registration for the Accelerated Level I class
that begins October 7, 2022.
If you were interested in enrolling in the In Christ’s Image Training but were unsure you could devote six full months to the class, our "Accelerated Course" might be for you.
For October, we are going to offer the Level I class at an accelerated pace of only three months starting October 7. If you enroll in the full training and have a minimum of three hours per week available to devote to this accelerated online course, you will graduate in just three months (in contrast to the six-month plan).
This accelerated plan will send out two sessions per week (four chapters) in contrast to the current two chapters per week in our six-month course. The faster pace will be more time efficient but will require twice the reading and audio messages. Tuition and enrollment plans will stay the same, the only difference being the pace and efficiency of the accelerated class. If you are forming a group, it would be wise to poll those in the group, making sure all agree to meet weekly and will be able to keep up with this faster pace.
The accelerated course is not for someone with a full schedule, but rather for someone who is able to commit the time needed to grow in their walk with the Lord over a shorter period of time.
We will still continue offering the six-month plan for those with busier schedules, starting in January.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Unwavering Perseverance By Francis Frangipane If we are to succeed spiritually, among all the other necessary virtues we especially will need perseverance. We will need to learn not only how to fight but how to keep going in the fight until God brings the breakthrough. I am not talking about becoming carnal in our warfare or fleshly in our aggression. I am speaking about a combination of discernment, authority and unwavering faith that needs to live within us, even while other virtues and gifts develop. It is not enough, you see, to know about God's Kingdom -- we are called to possess it. Yes, when we are born again, we are born into God's Kingdom. But the reality of being born of the Spirit means that a whole new realm of possibilities, challenges and obstacles now unfolds before us. In other words, we must overcome many things in order to function as sons and daughters of God. The idea that the only relationship we have with Heaven is the one we experience at death is simply contrary to the Word of God. When Jesus came, He proclaimed, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matt. 4:17). At hand means that God's Kingdom is close enough to touch from where we are. Yet it must be fought for aggressively and attained with perseverance. "The kingdom of heaven suffers violence," Jesus taught, "and violent men take it by force" (Matt. 11:12). The violence of taking the Kingdom by force is not physical violence but rather focused earnestness, a deeply passionate pursuit of God that enables Christ's followers never to give up regardless of the conflicts and trials they face. John said he was a "partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus" (Rev. 1:9). If we want God's Kingdom, we will face tribulation, and we will need perseverance. We must persist until the substance of God's Kingdom is not merely a doctrine but a functional reality in our lives. True disciples "bear fruit with perseverance" (Luke 8:15). The human spirit is saved by faith in Christ's sacrifice. The human soul -- our mind, will and emotions -- is saved by faith and endurance (Luke 21:19). This does not mean that our salvation is the result of works; it means our perseverance is rooted in our salvation as new creatures in Christ. Even so, there is a war to be won! We must take the Kingdom by force, fighting for our souls and persevering on behalf of families, cities and nations. Unyielding Perseverance The book of Revelation mentions the word perseverance seven times for good reason. Over and over we see those who persevered and overcame. It is one thing to have vision and another to have godly motives, but neither will carry us to our objectives by itself. We must also persevere. Consider this word persevere. Its meaning is rooted in the word severe. It is the exact opposite of lethargy. Over the last fifty-plus years, there were a number of times when I was stretched in ways that were severe or extreme. I always came out of the experience stronger and more Christlike, yet it was definitely not the way I would have chosen for myself. You see, it is through faith and endurance that we inherit the promises of God (Heb. 10:36). James tells us that "the testing of [our] faith develops perseverance" and that "perseverance must finish its work so that [we] may be mature and complete, not lacking in anything" (James 1:3-4, NIV). In other words, we don't just go one mile, but two; we contend for the faith; we wrestle against principalities and powers (Matt 5:41; Jude 1:3; Eph. 6:12). We are not wimps; we do not give up. We are soldiers who endure hardship. Even if we are knocked down, defeat is not final; we rise to fight another day (Mic. 7:7-8). Surrender is not an option! Our success comes from our faith in God; our perseverance is not based on our strength but is appropriated from grace drawn from our union with Christ. We come to Him when we are weary and heavy-laden; in Him we find rest so we can continue our quest. But underlying all our other virtues, we need to possess an inherent perseverance of spirit, for "the one who endures to the end, he will be saved" (Matt.24:13). Has lethargy quietly taken your energy captive? Then by the grace of God, let the Holy Spirit awaken within you today the perseverance of Christ. Indeed, "may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement" (Rom. 15:5) empower you to be the man or woman of God you were born to become. No Time to Quit On a more practical level, let me briefly say, watch your health. Avoid excessive amounts of heavy foods or sugar and denatured grains, which can cloud your mind and make you sluggish. Get seven to eight hours sleep, use natural foods and develop an exercise regime to tone and condition your physiological makeup. Let's not give ourselves any physical reasons to fail spiritually. Multitudes will sit in their easy chairs and read about God's promises, but you and I are called not only to know God's promises but to possess them and walk them out. You see, the real question is not "Are you saved?" but "Are you overcoming?" Whatever the scope of warfare you face -- whether it is deeply personal or a fight for your nation to be turned -- the enemy's specific goal is to get you to give up. With all my heart, I believe it is not too late for my country of America and many other nations to turn away from judgment and move toward spiritual awakenings. It is near, dear friend. Endurance. Perseverance. Steadfastness. These are the qualities that breed character, that transform the doctrine of Christlikeness into a way of life. Again, as James 1:4 urges, "Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect." The key to perfection, to a life "lacking in nothing," is perseverance. With the Holy Spirit's help, it is time to get our grit back. It is time to fight. Adapted from Francis Frangipane's book, This Day We Fight! available at www.arrowbookstore.com.

This Day We Fight! | |
There is a time for peace and a time for war. We are in a war, and you better not put down your weapon or you will become captive to sin, fear or unbelief. Francis Frangipane tells us that the call of God is a call to war. Yet, the enemy uses human passivity to seduce God's warriors. This book is anointed to help the reader get their fire back. The Holy Spirit is ready to impart a fresh anointing to God's people - an anointing that will activate the "war mode" in the church.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
With Loud Crying and Tears By Francis Frangipane Some of us are too quiet in our prayer times. Face down does not mean quiet. I know there is a time for silent prayer, but it shouldn't be the norm. As Christians we must let ourselves feel the agony of the world around us. While our faith should never be based upon feelings, our capacity to empathize with another's loss or pain should be fully alive in us and compelling. Satan wants us muted. He desires that our prayers degrade into quiet muttering, as though we are ashamed of saying out loud what is going on inside. Our needs demand, at times, that we have volume and substance in our prayer. Scripture says of Jesus that "In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety" (Heb 5:7). Some say this verse refers to Jesus' prayer in Gethsemane, a onetime experience. I disagree. The thought is introduced with the phrase, "In the days of His flesh." The word days is plural. It indicates that there were times when, as the situation warranted, Jesus prayed with "loud crying and tears." My point is, Jesus felt deeply what He was praying about. His whole being was in His prayer, even expressing His burden with both loud crying and tears. Our Master also felt the sorrow of His friends. He wept at the tomb of His friend Lazarus. Yes, He knew He was about to raise Lazarus, but He felt the heartache (not the unbelief) of Lazarus' friends and their sorrow seized His heart. Even as Christ can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, we must allow ourselves this same empathy toward human suffering and injustice. Thousands are dying because of wars, terrorism, disasters and disease; multitudes are homeless, starving and living in abject poverty. Infants are pulled apart in the womb before their lungs have taken a single breath. Jesus says we are blessed if we are capable of mourning over these things. Granted, we cannot be ruled by our feelings, but they can help compel us toward heaven. As we pray, let the pain of those who cannot cry fill our hearts. Let us lift our voices in prayer, even with loud crying and tears as we approach Him who is able to save from death. Lord Jesus, moved with compassion You healed the multitudes. From heaven You felt the pain of earth and extended Yourself into our world, where you were acquainted with grief and human suffering. Your whole life was consecrated to the Father as an act of intercession. Master, give us a vision of Your love. Our world is wrought with pain and beyond our ability to ease it. Expand our hearts as we cry to You. Father, enlarge our souls, so that we pray with the very intercessions of Your Son, Jesus. Let our voices be full of empathy as we pray. In Jesus' name.

When the Many Are One | |
Our best efforts will not stop the flood of problems in our cities if we remain isolated from each other. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
From Death to Christ Jesus warned His disciples about His impending crucifixion. "One of you will betray Me," He said. Yet, instead of turning to God in humble introspection, an argument actually arose among the disciples as to which one was the greatest. Jesus, who sees both the natural and spiritual realms, addressed Peter (who evidently "won" the argument): "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers" (Lk 22: 31-32). This text reveals a profound insight into why the Lord allows battles in our lives. Jesus knows that His disciples are going to fail Him. Yet, think of this: He does not pray that His followers not experience failure. Instead, prays, that their faith not fail. Jesus did not ask that God would keep Peter from battle, but that Peter would come through the battle into a greater spiritual place. We squirm and squeal and cry for God to save us from certain battles, but if we were able to pierce through, reach heaven and actually hear Jesus, we would probably hear Him praying for us as He prayed for His disciples. The good news-indeed, our very confidence-is that in everything Christ is praying for us. We will get through to the other side of battle. Yes, there are times when we sin, when we make serious mistakes, when there is pride or jealousy or ambition motivating us toward certain failure. I can guarantee there will be such times, but I also guarantee that the prayer of Jesus will not fail. We may fail, but the intercession of Christ will see us through. The Old Nature Must Die The disciples went through the greatest depression and discouragement of their entire lives. As far as they knew, Jesus had died and they did not defend Him. It was His hour of need, and they had slept. With Jesus looking straight at him, Peter denied three times that he ever even knew Christ. The heartache they experienced from their failure was devastating. It was unfathomable. Buried in the tomb with Jesus were their hopes, dreams and desires-and they, by denying Him, had played a part in His death. Failure. It is amazing what God can do with human failures. Remember, Christ said, Satan has demanded permission to "sift you like wheat." Keep this in mind, Satan is not given permission to destroy, but to sift Jesus' disciples. Each of us has two natures: one, a hard outer husk, which is an old nature; the other an inner softness, which constitutes our true self. The outer husk is that part of us that, while we are flesh-center beings, is used to protect ourselves from the harshness of our world. Before we come to Christ, that "husk" protects the inner softness, which otherwise cannot endure the struggles of life in this hostile, devil-filled world. But when we come to Christ, the husk must be broken and die. We cannot rely on the way of the flesh to protect us; we must become Christ-centered. So, the Almighty allows the enemy to attack. Satan thinks he is destroying us. But God says, "All you can touch is his flesh." God is thinking, "I wanted that removed anyway." So the battle is designed to sift (remove) your old nature. When something is "sifted," it is filtered: something comes through the filter, while something is removed. So Christ comes forth in our lives through the time of sifting, while our trust in our flesh nature is removed. Our new nature is actually Christ Himself manifested, functionally within us. You should know this about the battle: God has ordained that only Christ in you can survive! Only the nature of Jesus is capable of prospering in this conflict. We face conflict and pray, "Oh Lord, don't let this hurt me. Protect me." The Lord, though, is saying, "Hurt you? My plan is to kill you." Of course, the Lord does not want to wound your true self; however, He must put to death the false and superficial outer self. God wants to kill the part of you that brags, "I won't deny the Lord." As long as we think of our flesh as being incapable of sin or morally superior to other Christians, God is going to give Satan permission to sift us. The unbroken husk nature must be destroyed. The shell of our outer selves is closed both to God and to others. There must be brokenness. The battle, even our failure in battle, produces brokenness. Brokenness is openness to God. An unbroken life is an enemy to the Spirit of God. "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit" (Jn 12:24). If it dies, it bears fruit. We cannot bear true, Christlike fruit without dying. It is almost as though our sincere failure, mixed with God's grace, produces Christ's success in us. The husk surrounding the wheat kernel cannot live or grow or produce fruit. It can protect the wheat, but it cannot release it. The husk must die for Christ to live. How do you know whether or not you are broken? The husk nature is hard; the spirit nature soft. Are you angry, critical of others, judgmental? Then you are living in the husk and it must die (and Satan is glad to oblige). However, if you are forgiving, praying for those who have hurt you, loving, then you are living the Christ life; the old nature is broken and you are bearing fruit. I think new Christians suffer a big disservice when we tell them, "Give your life to the Lord and nothing bad will every happen to you." We may not say it that way, but we imply that behind door #1 is eternal life; everlasting happiness is behind door #2; and everything your heart desires is behind door #3. If you give your life to the Lord, you get all three doors. How could you go wrong? We don't tell them about the trap doors and the battles between where they are currently standing and the prizes they expect. Psalms 119:71 says, "It is good for me that I was afflicted, That I may learn Thy statutes." It may be difficult, but we need to appreciate what God does through our times of failure or affliction. In all things, we should always recall that Christ is interceding for us. We will emerge on the other side, not only stronger but able also to strengthen others in their particular battles. "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in his triumph in Christ..." (2 Corinthians 2:14). No matter what we go through, God will be there to "lead us in His triumph in Christ." What a wonderful promise. Yet, these were not the words of a man who knew no battle. Paul had reported an experience in the first chapter that he and his co-leaders had passed through, such a terrible affliction that they all "were burdened excessively, beyond . . . strength, so that [they] despaired even of life" (Vs 8). It is impossible to imagine what they must have faced. He continued, ""indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves." Evidently the disciples were certain they were about to die a terrible death. Yet, Paul said that God allowed this to happened so that "we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead." Every hardship or battle we go through, no matter how fierce, ultimately causes us to "not trust in ourselves, but in God." This is where God seeks to bring us. The conflict will always beyond your strength. The enemy always pushes us beyond our personal, inbred, preset limits concerning how far we will go for God: "Here's how far I'm going to love; this is how many times I'll turn the other cheek." The test kills the limits of our humanity, until we are like Christ in everything. We are left with a choice: Become Christlike or gradually shrivel into superficial hypocrites: angry people who have stopped walking with God, who blame others for our bitterness. Perfection, from God's perspective, is measured in the degree we genuinely trust in Christ. In facing death, Paul learned in a more perfect way to trust "God who raises the dead." He concluded his praise of the Lord by saying that He "delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us" (2 Cor 1:10). God delivered us then and He will deliver us again. Jesus prayed Paul through. As a result, Paul was able to strengthen and comfort vast multitudes with the very comfort he received from the Lord. Jesus must have been praying for Paul as He prayed for Peter and the other apostles, not to escape the battle, but to escape the limits of the flesh and find perfect dependency upon God. And, my friend, Jesus is praying for you, that in your conflict your faith not fail. When your strength returns, you will strengthen others.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
As We Enter the Fullness of Times
I love the word of God. I have a burning passion that my words might be drawn from that holy river that flows, "clear as crystal," from God's throne (Rev 21:1). At the same time, however, I had spent far too much time preparing this sermon. Suddenly, the Lord interrupted my prolonged study and set my eyes upon the greater picture.
He said, "I have called you, not merely to prepare sermons, but to prepare people."
Yes, there is a difference between preparing a message about God and preparing a people for God. Obviously, sermon preparation is very important, but it is not an end in itself. The goal is to equip and train people to represent Christ.
As we approach the end of this age, I believe the Father's heart is fervently working to train people who will represent Him prior to the worldwide tribulation period. Thus, as no other time in history, we must become people who truly and accurately reveal Jesus Christ. We must know not only that He heals, but who He wants to heal. We must possess His wisdom as well as His power; His meekness along with His authority; His love and His judgment. It is time for the church to "grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ" (Eph 4:15).
The Purpose of Leadership
The primary reason the Lord provides ministers in the church is for training and equipping. As Paul wrote, ministers are given by Christ, "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph 4:12 KJV). It is one thing to deliver a person from oppression; another thing altogether to train the delivered to become deliverers themselves. Indeed, it is important to lead people to Christ, but how much more important to teach others to lead multitudes to Christ.
We have made "salvation" an end-all experience. Salvation is a beginning, a first step toward attaining "the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-13). This verse, which speaks of our transformation, is not given as a hope of an afterlife with Jesus, but attaining the present life of Jesus. Consider it deeply, for there is no truth more profound than this: God's expressed will for us is nothing short of the fullness of Christ! All that Jesus did, all that Jesus was in His earthly character, and all that Jesus purchased--Christ in divine fullness--is the mandate spoken by God for the church.
As He Is
As pastors, we feel successful if people under our charge are nice. However, God did not create us to reveal the "fullness of nice," but the fullness of Christ. Our task, as ministers, is not merely to keep the church from sin, but to labor to conform the church to Him. At the core of our destiny is one source of fulfillment and power: Christ in us. Regardless of the task given us--whether we are in leadership or support, whether we are evangelistic or intercessory in assignment--we all draw our life from Christ. The task is not the issue; conformity to Christ's nature is the goal.
John confirms this when he says, "As He is, so also are we in this world" (1 John 4:17). And again, "By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked" (1 Jn 2:5c-6). Jesus Himself said that we were to be students whose goal is to be "fully trained," until we become "like [our] teacher" (Lk 6:40).
To the testimony of the Scriptures, I add with full authority: there is no lasting fulfillment in life apart from Christlike transformation; no success will ever truly satisfy, no personal attainment will find permanent satisfaction. David said, "I shall behold Thy face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Thy likeness when I awake" (Ps 17:15).
In whatever study or course of training you embark upon in your spiritual life, ask yourself one question: Will I become more Christlike in the process? This is the goal of our In Christ's Image Training program: to present the singular source of our destiny: Christlikeness. God's goal with us is not merely that we prepare anointed teachings, but anointed people--disciples who shall reveal the fullness of Christ as we enter the fullness of time.

What did Jesus have in mind for His followers when His ministry began? I am convinced that Christ not only came to seek and save the lost, but to actually replicate Himself in us. And whether we are just beginning our spiritual journey or we are seasoned servants of many years, true Christianity is nothing less than the living manifestation of Christ in and through us (Gal. 2:20).

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Last Great Harvest |
In the midst of blatant rebellion and worldwide conflicts, is there yet one more "great awakening" in God's heart that will sweep multitudes into His kingdom? Or is the future irreversibly clocked, ever ticking toward catastrophic conflicts and doom? I, for one, am convinced that the Lord's heart burns for the nations. I believe that a great harvest season awaits us. It is easy to see sin and predict doom. Yet, the very fact that God gives us the privilege of prayer tells us He desires we participate with Him in the transformation of our world. Indeed, even when a nation seems fully in the grip of evil, the heart of God is searching for one who would "stand in the gap before [Him] for the land." God's heart is to redeem, "not destroy" (Ezek. 22:30). What a tremendous insight into the nature of God, that if just one person embraces Christlike transformation---if he or she stands in the gap in unoffendable intercession---that individual can alter the future of a nation! Before you think I am exaggerating, both the Bible and secular history tell us this is exactly the case. Singular individuals have stood for their families, churches, cities and nations, and throughout time God has used them to alter the course of history (see Heb. 11; Eccl. 9:15). The key to unlocking this great power from God is to live life with one compelling goal: to obtain the likeness of Christ. Everything about our In Christ's Image Training (ICIT) course is designed to focus our faith upon Jesus Christ. The priorities we present, if properly assimilated, will empower each of us to possess true spiritual transformation. Our vision at In Christ's Image Training is to train and release hundreds of thousands of Christlike pastors, leaders and intercessors into countries throughout the world. We are entering the season of our greatest transformation; it is accelerating toward us. God wants to use us to reach our families, neighbors and beyond. But first He must renew and transform our hearts. Do not doubt that the Spirit of God can do a deep and thorough work in you. At the end of the age, the Lord has promised His work of raising up people and reaching the nations will be accomplished "thoroughly and quickly" (Rom. 9:28). Take faith! He assures us He will "hasten" our transformation "in its time" (Isa. 60:22). -- adapted from ICIT Level I Introduction |
