___A Higher Heaven____
Something touched my heart today
Something soft and calming
What it is I cannot say
Except it was disarming
Something Holy Spiritual
That made me think and say
A long awaited miracle
Would take my breath away
It filled my heart with wonder
And caught my holy eye
To toss concerns asunder
Within its holy high
An aura so delightful
Completely filled my chest
A feeling so insightful
It forced my soul to rest
It was as if a power
Unlike the worldly kind
Had opened like a flower
Within my heart and mind
It must have been a blessing
For all of it was good
As on and on its pressing
Continued when I stood
It walked with me while shopping
This peaceful inner glow
And showed no sign of stopping
Its pure ongoing flow
˜It might be an anointing
I thought with head held low
A ministry appointing
To which I should let go
A major sign prophetic
Then pointed towards a night
A simple arithmetic
To guide me in God's light
A perfect indication
Of what was soon to be
A simple affirmation
Of what's inside of me
It made me think of times behind
Way back in ˜75
When Jesus touched me with His Mind
And made me come alive
A powerful enlightenment
Completely overtook me
A heaven sent entitlement
That really grabbed and shook me
The signs said Thursday next would be
The day on which I know
Why peace persists to fill me
And keep me in God's flow
So here I sit in reverent awe
Of what I've just been given
To wait upon the next new door
Unto a higher heaven
