Update: Marcelo

Please pray!

Marcelo Rabellino (far left), a dear friend of ours and the husband of Gabriela, the ICIT Spanish administrator (to the right of Marcelo).

Marcelo was working on a pavilion when it collapsed on him (Thursday, June 30). He has broken bones in his face, head and legs, and much blood loss. Scroll down for photo. He was airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City. Pray continue to pray for a miracle of healing and also for his family.

Dear Friends,
The battles have been great, but the victories have been greater! We have seen the hand of the Lord at work in every aspect and have seen His favor and protection over Marcelo. The testimonies are many. Smile

Thank you for your faithful prayers. The battle is not over yet, however.
Today at 12:30 pm CDT, Marcelo will be having his final (we hope) series of surgeries. They will be repairing the fracture in his upper palate in his mouth, requiring 3 weeks of his jaw being wired shut, in addition to repairing the orbital bones around his left eye. The Ophthalmologist will also be there to explore and repair any damage to his left eye.
Please pray for Marcelo during this surgery. It is very involved and very important. Pray for peace for the family and for favor. Pray for the doctors to have supernatural knowledge, insight and wisdom. Pray for the hidden things to be exposed and any defects to be detected and fixed within the facial bones and eye. Pray for the hands of the physicians to be guided by the Great Physician.
Marcelo has had surgery on his leg and that seems to be healing well. His broken ankle and broken nose are also healing well. Marcelo suffered multiple fractures throughout his face, including all the bones surrounding his left eye. The left eye has been compromised. He has several broken ribs and a broken bone in his lower spine. The skull fracture did not affect the brain at all, praise God.
He is expected to be released to home tomorrow, Saturday. He is doing so well after a week, that alone is a testimony!!
Pray that he will receive fullness of care before going home and that he will be sent home with proper care and instruction for safety.

Denise's brother David passed into eternity Saturday night. Originally, the doctors gave him just 6 months to live. That was 4.5 years ago. During this extended time the Lord answered many prayers for David in many ways. Thank you all so much for standing with us. Please join me in praying for my wife and her family at this time. Thank you again.

Pastor Frangipane's wife, Denise, has a brother who is in the last weeks of life. He has cancer. God has given him an extra four years since he was first told he only had months to live. We would be very thankful for your prayers for his salvation. His name is David.
