Anyone see the 'imposter&# 39; at work in today's variations of Christianity?

Did you ever notice?

Jesus Christ's disciples were not educated, they were relational, hands-on, practical sort of people. He chose them specifically for that reason -- He didn't want to lose the reality of The Gospel (good news of restored relationship with God) in intellectualism. Jesus Christ knew that what mattered was people getting right with God, and building a healthy relationship with Him, not spending time analyzing books.

The consequences of intellectualism is head knowledge with cold unaffected hearts (see Ephesus).

The consequences of relationship is a changed, transformed heart, filled with compassion and love for God & others, resulting in lifestyle changes, kindness, generosity, gentleness, self control -- in action.

Paul was God's choice to take The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world (as it existed at that time, Mediterranean area) because of the intellectualism of Greeks and Romans (see the book of Romans) yet Paul's continual reference to relationship with God cannot be overlooked.. .for it was all he talked about, because it changed and transformed him -- in heart.

What kind of faith do you have? Reading The Bible to get to know God is not intellectualism, but relationship. Studying books extensively, even to neglecting The Bible, is intellectualism.

God prefers relationship. Jesus Christ called it 'the better thing'.
