Especially regarding antisemitism, Shapiro knows what he is saying.
Defeating Antisemitism
Defeating antisemitism is no easy feat. But people need to at least know where to start. And when people blame the alt right for antisemitism and ignore the vicious left, antisemitism will continue to spread throughout the world. Shapiro makes that point about so many ignoring the antisemitism on the Left but addressing it on the right. It is true – antisemitism exists on both sides of the political spectrum. But if we only accuse one side, we miss so much of the antisemitism that exists in the world.
Shapiro said, “The only proper response to antisemitism is to fight back against it wherever we see it. And to stubbornly cling to that which stamps us with the image of God. To fight darkness with light. And untruth with truth. And death with life.” It is simple, but it is the only way.

What is the Jewish capital? Well, Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But did we really need him to? Is God’s word not enough?
America Recognizes the Jewish Capital
It was all over the news! Finally, after decades and decades, America recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Many presidents promised to officially do so, but they did not act. And now, in 2018, President Donald Trump followed through. Not only did he say it in words, but the president followed through in action and moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Israel was thankful. Israel supporters were ecstatic. It was a momentous time in history.

And of course, Israel-haters protested. People disagreed. They wondered how Trump could make such a political statement and be so one-sided. They question his ability to make peace in the Middle East. But was what he did so political? Why do so many protest the Jewish capital?

What About God and the Bible?
Did people forget about God and the Bible? God made Jerusalem the capital of Israel long before President Trump! Why are liberals denying God’s word? Why do they deny thousands of years of history, the Bible, God, archaeology, and everything else that points toward a Jewish Jerusalem? Are they against God’s political views regarding Israel and the Jewish people? Clearly, the Jewish people are God’s chosen people. And He gave the land of Israel to them. President Trump’s actions are really just supporting God’s word.

Pastor Greg Locke has got it right, and he is proud to say it. He supports Israel, the Jewish people, and the Jewish capital. He does not try to deny God and His word. AND he understands that Trump is not to commend or blame for naming Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Because as is obvious, God chose the Jewish capital!

Islamic Santa Claus Parody

What is the Islamic perspective on Christmas and Santa Claus.? This parody will have you on the floor.  Or perhaps it will insult you.  I personally found it to be hilarious, but also a bit sad.  Sad – but true.
In this classic parody, the fake character, Mr. Tawil Fadiha, stars as the Minister for Uncontrollable Rage.  He dresses up as Santa Claus and discusses what it is like to be a Christian in a Muslim controlled city like Bethlehem.

The song , Jihad Bells, Jihad Bells is a fantastic humorist creation of the perspective of the Islamic world to the Christian religion.

Latma Parody
The idea behind the Latma parody show is brilliant.  There are so many things in the Middle East that are so ridiculous.  However, so many people treat them as if they are normal.  To point out the absurd, parody is often the best tactic.

Saturday Night Live has often played a central role in explaining the absurd situations that we live in.  This is the closest thing in Israel to Saturday Night Live.  It is no longer on the air, but some of their episodes are pure gems.

The very idea of a Minister for Uncontrollable Rage is brilliant. That is so common when an Arab spokesman gets up to represent the Arab point of view on Israel.  The logic seems to never be the dominant part of the argument. They key is the anger.

Police officers are arresting a man in New York and a bystander has started filming. It isn’t clear what has led up to this. The viewer does not know the circumstances of the arrest. Yet we hear him scream threats and obscenities against Jews. This vile language is quite frightening to hear. As a result, anyone who heard it would understandably be shocked.
What is anti-semitism?
According to the Anti Defamition League (ADL), anti-semitism is: “the belief or behavior hostile toward Jews just because they are Jewish.”

Anti-semitism in the United States
Here is part of the ADL’s report on anti-semitism in the United States: “ADL identified 1,986 anti-Semitic incidents perpetrated throughout the United States in 2017. This represents an increase of 57% since 2016’s 1,267 incidents reported. For the first time since at least 2010, an incident occurred in every US state. The states with the highest numbers of incidents were New York (380 incidents), California (268 incidents), New Jersey (208 incidents), Massachusetts (177), Florida (98), and Pennsylvania (96). These states combined made up more than half (62%)of the total number of incidents. The number of incidents tends to correlate with large Jewish populations.”

Anti-semitism around the world
It’s happening in other places also. Germany must do more to tackle anti-Semitism. It should set up a national database to record anti-Semitic incidents that are not included in crime statistics. These conclusions are from a recent Reuters report. Germany’s anti-semitism commissioner said anti-Semitism was still largely associated with extreme right-wing ideology. Germany’s official figures for the first eight months of 2017 showed nearly 93 percent of reported anti-Semitic crimes linked to far-right extremism.

Other countries also experience anti-semitism. Around the world, people are facing one of the oldest forms of hatred.

As levels are on the rise, we are hopeful that awareness and programs can help stop anti-semitism. Foul language and violence against Jews needs to stop.

Not Just Idle Threats
Ahmed Salama was killed by Arabs. His crime? He assisted in a sale of land to Jews. This is not an isolated incident. It has happened many times before. It is true that it is tough to be an Arab in the State of Israel. It’s tough because of the Arabs who terrorize their own brethren.

The Arab leadership throughout the entire Middle East has proven countless times that they don’t care much about their constituents. Democracy is not a central value of the Arabs in the Middle East. It’s not even a minor value. The Arabs don’t have any solid history of democracy. What matters more to them are values such as power, tradition, and religion. That is why it is so ridiculous when Westerners fight for the voting rights of Arabs in Israel as if they are joining in a real fight for democracy. The Arabs have never claimed to want more democracy. They want a racially cleansed Arab theocracy. They have consistently claimed that they want no Jew anywhere in the Land of Israel.

BDS is Anti-Democracy
The BDS movement is the loud and boisterous support base for the Arab movement to kick the Jews out of the Land of Israel. “From the River to the Sea” means – no Jews, just Arabs in the entire Land of Israel. The BDS protesters are either anti-democratic or thoroughly confused about the facts.

Israel affords the right to vote to more than a million Arabs who live in pre-1967 Israel. To the other Arabs, Israel affords top-notch medical care and freedom from neighboring tyrants like Assad in Syria and ISIS. Yes, it’s true, these Arabs cannot vote in the Israeli Knesset. That would be suicidal for Israel. But the Arabs don’t want that anyway. So, it’s actually not a “real” issue in Israel. It’s only a fake BDS issue outside of Israel.

Positive Demographics
There are no simple solutions to the complexities of the Middle East. That’s OK. The status quo is sustainable – no matter what people say. Time is on Israel’s side. First off, as anti-semitism rears its head in England, France and other countries, continued Jewish immigration to Israel will continue. Secondly, more Arab women are having less children, and more Jewish women are having more children in Israel. Most important, there are now more options for Arabs to immigrate and leave Israel. Europe has foolishly opened their doors wide and many Arabs see a brighter future there.

If Israel sticks to their guns and just kicks out terrorists and their families, there should be no major problems for Israel in the future years.

Terror tunnels from Hizbullah
Prime Minister Netanyahu has made the choice to open up a massive media blitz and military operation against the Hizbullah.  The Hizbullah sits right above Israel’s northern border and has amassed tens of thousands of missiles.  They receive funding and direction from Iran.  There is no question that Prime Minister Netanyahu seems very driven to minimize the threat from Israel’s north in the not-too-distant future.

The political career of Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu began his political career after a rather short stint in the business world.  He was a young man in his 30’s at the Madrid Peace Conference in 1991.  James Baker, The United States Secretary of State was very aware of the talents and hawkish views of the young Netanyahu, and he made it a point to sideline him from the talks.  The Bush/Baker led Madrid Peace Process was very tough on Israel.  A young Netanyahu took note.

Clinton
In the Clinton Administration, Benjamin Netanyahu rose to be a young leader of the opposition.  Yitzhak Rabin was the new elected Prime Minister and the tragic Oslo Agreement was the central feature of his term.  Bill Clinton and Yitzhak Rabin got along fine, but in his term, Israel basically sold out its own people by arming a fifth column in its midst.  Soon after the Rabin assassination, Benjamin Netanyahu was elected Prime Minister and struggled with President Clinton.

George Bush and Barack Obama
Netanyahu served with both George W. Bush and Barack Obama.  Of course, it was easier with Bush, but they also had some issues.  However, the eight years that Netanyahu persevered with Barack Obama may very well be one of his best foreign policy accomplishments.  There was constant friction and a clear non-meeting of the minds.

So, to see a relaxed Prime Minister Netanyahu discuss the US-Israel relationship is gratifying.

Muslims Serve in the IDF
There are some Muslims who choose to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. They are not forced to, but they want to. They want to defend Israel. Despite being a minority in the army, they still feel welcomed in the IDF.

And sadly, sometimes they die alongside their Jewish comrades.

That is what happened to Issam Ottman’s son, Youssef. He was murdered in an attack while defending the village of Har Hadar.

But the problem is that an anti-Israel group holds some of that responsibility. Groups like the New Israel Fund and Machsom Watch are helping terrorists carry out their mission to murder Jews.

They just portray themselves as “peace” groups. But that is completely false – even according to a Muslim himself.

Anti-Israel Group
The New Israel Fund claims to fight for social justice. They claim to want equality for all Israelis. But this anti-Israel group is completely against the Jewish state. They give money to Machsom Watch, another anti-Israel group. Because of a Machsom Watch activist disturbing the security, Youssef Ottman was murdered.

Issam is crying out to the CEO of the New Israel Fund to stop funding such organizations.

What can these anti-Israel groups respond as they hold responsibility for terrorists murdering Youssef Ottman? What can they answer to the fact that they are aiding terrorists?

The Jewish holiday of Hanukkah is a joyous time! It is the festival of lights. This holiday commemorates the miracles that God performed for the Jewish people. There were many miracles – oil lasting in the Menorah for 8 days despite there only being enough for one day, the unthinkable victory of the few Jews over the many Greeks. If you think about all the miracles that took place, it would not be possible without God’s help!

And today as well – the Jewish people would not be able to survive without God’s help (nor would anyone or anything). God has continued to deliver Israel’s enemies into her hands – the few have defeated the many. And it has happened on multiple occasions. The mere existence of the modern state of Israel is beyond miraculous.

When people of other nations and faiths recognize those miracles, THAT is a miracle in itself!

President Trump’s Hanukkah Message
President Trump realizes that there is something unique about the Jewish people. So many people ignore it, but he addresses it. The Jews have been oppressed, beaten, murdered, and yet they still remain undefeated. He said, “Throughout history, the Jewish people have suffered unthinkable repression and terrible violence. Yet in the face of this hardship, the Jewish people have endured, overcome, and thrived. The Jewish people built a mighty and majestic nation, a thriving democracy in the heart of the Middle East, and a light of hope to all of the world.”

In his Hanukkah message, he reminded the Jewish people and the Jewish state of his unwavering support.

This message from the President is appreciated.

Today we are celebrating the 1st day of Hanukkah. The Jewish festival that celebrates the wonderous victory of the Maccabeats over the Greeks and the restoration of the holy of Temple. There were many miracles that happened during the time of Hanukkah but let’s focus on one.

Turning the Physical into Spiritual
When we look back at the time of the Greeks, we can see their were a society that focused on the physical, much like the majority of todays society. They thought they were strongest people. They wanted to take away the spiritual aspect of the holy Temple and turn into something purely physical. But the Jews knew otherwise. They knew that the physical was there to merely serve the spiritual. The holy temple wasn’t just a building. It was a building that housed the holy spirit of G-d, the holiest place of worship for the Jews.

Timeless Lessons of Hanukkah
Judaism teaches that the lessons of each holiday aren’t just history lessons. We don’t just focus on the historical aspect of the holiday. Rather we look at what happened and apply it to our lives today.
Today in the 21st century the world is all about the physical. About money, the latest gadgets, having it all. This is not a Jewish concept. Instead we see the physical here to help us on our spiritual journey. We have to take advantage of the amazing physical things at our finger tips and use them for the good. That is one of the Hanukkah challenges today.

Ignoring explicit orders of the Israeli Supreme Court, The Muslim Waqf organized 1,000 Muslims to work night and day recently. They cleared piles of dirt filled with evidence of the Jewish Temple and the historic Mount. They took advantage of the Jewish gesture of closing the Temple Mount for Jews during Ramadan and went to work destroying our history.

So What Happened this Ramadan on the Mount?
The Muslim Waqf did what so many faithful Muslim officials do when faced with a legal prohibition, they cheated. They took advantage of the Israeli gesture of closing off the Temple Mount to Jews on the last week of Ramadan to complete their heinous crime against history and culture. They recruited more than 1,000 men to remove the piles of soil. This time making sure to get rid of all the evidence of there ever being a Jewish Temple there.

The Temple Mount Archeological Site
The Temple Mount is one of the most important historic sites in the world. An archeologists dream job. It has religious significance to all three monotheistic religions and it still has yet to be explored. Why? Because the Muslims warn that they will go to war against Israel if we dug on our holy site. Why? Because they don’t want us to find the proofs that the Temple once stood there.

Unfortunately, instead of allowing us to dig the Mount properly, the Muslims authorities on the mount destroy the finds so that we can never dig there. And the Israeli authorities do nothing to stop, or punish them, for their destruction. These destructive Muslims actions on the Mount are making an eventual proper archaeological dig impossible.

The History
The piles of earth that the Muslims are clearing out on the Mount, as seen in the video, were created by an illegal renovation the Muslim authorities began to carry out in 1999, and continued into the 2,000s.

Back then it was also illegal for them to carry out such renovations, but they did it anyway. While they requested to build a small Mosque on the Mount, that small project ended up carrying out 400 trucks of the landfill with Temple Mount artifacts. A huge travesty.



They then dumped the 400 truckloads of the landfill, with the Temple Mount artifacts, in a valley on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Thankfully, Israeli archaeologists found out about the dump. The archaeologists began collecting the soil, with the artifacts, to then conduct a proper archeological sifting project to document the history of the Mount. Thus was born the Temple Mount sifting project.

Temple Mount Sifting Project
The Temple Mount sifting project is a must see tourist site for anyone visiting Jerusalem today. Every visitor takes an active part in sifting through the Temple Mount soil, dumped illegally by the Muslims. Almost every person who participates in this sifting project finds some archeological find of hundreds, if not thousands, of years old from the Mount.

The sifting project is a huge archeological challenge. Proper archeological projects dig one level of soil at a time, with toothbrushes! This allows the archeologists to identify each artifact with the proper time period, based on the level of soil it was found. Since the Muslims used tractors instead of toothbrushes, and they dumped the 400 truckloads of the landfill all together. Thousands of years of soil, with artifacts, were all mixed together.

Continued Israeli Appeasement
One Muslim crime after another on our Holy Temple Mount, and the Israeli authorities are powerless.

While we are big fans of Prime Minister Netanyahu for so much of what he does for Israel, he has one big weakness. He consistently ignores the Muslim crimes on the Temple Mount, as have all previous Isreali Prime Ministers. Netanyahu prefers to ignore the Muslims crimes on the Mount and not create a “religious” conflict with the Muslim world, while there are other, more critical issues to deal with. The price? A policy of appeasement towards the Muslims on the Mount that discriminates non-Muslims. In addition, the continued destruction of Temple Mount artifacts.

There are very few events that are more emotional than a swearing-in ceremony for Israeli soldiers.  Every soldier understands the gravity of what they are doing.  But, Israel’s geopolitical situation demands it.  If we don’t defend our homeland, we know what the ramifications are.  Israel has no choice.  There is a mandatory draft.

A few times each year, tens of thousands of young Israeli men and women swear their allegiance to defend the State of Israel.  This is a modern-day miracle.  There has not been a Jewish Army for thousands of years.   It has never even been much of a thought over the generations.  Jews fought with passports.  If they were in an army, it was not a Jewish Army.  It was a Russian Army or a German Army – yes, there were tens of thousands of Jews who fought in the German Army in World War I.  And there were hundreds of thousands who fought in the Russian Army against them.  Jews used to kill other Jews in foreign armies that fought against each other.  They fought in the American Army or the Australian Army.  But, Jewish soldiers did not have a distinct nationality until the struggle for the State of Israel began.

The Miracle of Hanukkah
Most people are not aware that an essential aspect of the miracle of Hanukkah is the fact that a small group of Jews picked up weapons and fought back in the Land of Israel.  The very fact that there was a group of Israeli soldiers willing to fight was a major occurrence.  The fact that a few hundred Jewish soldiers without heavy weaponry (elephants, etc..) defeated tens of thousands of Greek soldiers was an outright miracle.  Then, when the Jewish soldiers rededicated the Temple and lit the candelabra for 8 days, that was yet another miracle.  This manifested itself through the flask of oil with the High Priest’s signature.

The Real Miracle
But the main aspect of the miracle was that the Jews fought back in the Land of Israel and reestablished an Army and independence.  200 years later, the Temple was destroyed.  But all of this happened nearly 2,000 years ago.  Nothing even close to that happened afterwards.  Until now.  So, when we see the modern-day Maccabees, it is hard to find a dry eye in the crowd of well-wishers as our finest go off to serve our homeland and the people of Israel.

The BBC News does not support Israel. They have a complete bias against the Jewish state. They support terrorists and blame Israel. This video is not the first time it has happened, and sadly, it probably will not be the last.

CNN does it, BBC does it. Many mainstream news stations do it. What do they do? They accuse Israel of anything and everything. It is shocking how often these news outlets twist stories to make Israel look like an oppressor. If you think about it and search the facts, it truly does not make sense. The ONE democracy in the Middle East seems to get the most negative media attention.

Men, women, and children are suffering in Syria, Iran, Pakistan and tens of other countries. But who does the media focus on? Israel – the country who accepts people of all faiths and religions.

BBC Blames Israel for Situation in Gaza
This BBC news reporter tries to blame Israel for the situation in Gaza. But Naftali Bennett will not stand for any of that. He puts the reporter in his place. The reporter tries to attack Bennett and Israel with so called “facts,” yet he takes those facts out of context and turns it on Israel. BBC ignores the fact that Hamas and the “Palestinian” Authority are at fault for all of the “Palestinian” people’s issues and suffering.

Israel does not want war. They want peace. But that cannot be possible when a terrorist organization is running Gaza. Peace cannot be possible until there is a major change in the leadership of the “Palestinian” people.

BBC is siding with terrorists. And it is time more people stood up to such false and bias news outlets.

With all the talk about open borders and migrants, Bibi Netanyahu shares his policy. He cares about protecting his people and his country. These few words are some of the most important and strongest you’ll here.
“Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration.”  These are the words of the Global Agreement for free immigration and open borders between countries.  It sounds so harmless.  As if, the only issue at hand is whether or not people can get through airport security quickly.  As if, the whole issue is a matter of less than 30 minutes or more than an hour at the airport.

In truth, safe and orderly migration are words that hide the true nature of what is truly going on in the world today.  There are hundreds of thousands of migrants – most of whom are not refugees – who would like to get to Europe, North America, or Israel.  That is because in these places, there are all kinds of financial incentives for whomever gets in.  For example, free and excellent healthcare, or even monthly financial stipends in some countries.  The issue is that many – if not most – of these migrants, have no intention of assimilating into the countries they enter.

Once They Get In…

Now, every American knows, once migrants are in, it’s close to impossible to get them out.

On the other hand, there are basic humanitarian situations that do require every reasonable country to do their part.  There are thousands of families who are literally running for their lives.  Those are the true families in need.  This probably applies to no more than 5% of the people looking to move.  The vast majority of the people are grown men, not whole families.  There is probably no more dangerous group for any country to let in wholesale than single grown men.  They present a clear danger to women in their new countries.  And as a whole, they generally do not look to join their new country on a cultural level.

True Risk of Open Borders
It needs to be said in a clear manner.  To allow free unbridled immigration is to bring in human time bombs into one’s midst. To allow genuine refugees into one’s country is a high level ideal of the first order.

Miriam Peretz is a powerful woman, an inspiration to one and all. She lost two sons to Arab terror while serving as IDF soldiers. She also lost her husband to a broken heart after the loss of their first son. Overcoming the tremendous natural sadness from her huge loss, she now spreads love, joy and appreciation to all who hear her.

Israel Prize Winner

Miriam Peretz was the winner of the prestigious Israel Prize.  At Israel’s Central Independence Day Celebration ceremony in Jerusalem, Peretz was honored. In addition, she was chosen to speak at the ceremony on behalf of all sixteen of the 2018 prestigious Israel prize awardees.
She lost her eldest son, Uriel, killed in combat in Lebanon in 1998. Twelve years later, one of her younger sons, Eliraz, was killed in combat as well. He bravely fought terrorists in 2010 on the Gaza border.
Peretz was born in Casablanca, Morocco, moving to Israel in 1964, at the age of 10. Her story is unbelievable. It includes hardship and many challenges. However, her underlying life lesson is appreciation.
Her Story
“As a girl, I felt I did nothing for my country. I came to a ready-made country and didn’t know that there would come a day when I would give my dearest to the country — my sons Uriel and Eliraz. But you don’t just build a homeland with pain and tears, but also with labor and continued generosity,” she said.
“I am proud to be part of a group that chose to engage in education, out of the belief that this is the way to breach the walls of ignorance and inadequacy, and out of the understanding that education opens opportunities for self-fulfillment, as it had for me.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I stand humbly before my colleagues, honorable people who created, wrote, studies and invented, people of vision, creation and faith. I am not worthy, I don’t have a creation. I can’t point to a revelation I made or a formula I cracked.”
Broken Heart
“I have a heart that was broken three times with terrible announcements. The loss of my eldest son Uriel in battle in Lebanon, the death of my partner Eliezer due to a broken heart, and the loss of my second son in battle in Gaza,” she recalled.
“With that heart I came to my nation and in simple words, in the language of a broken heart, I spoke of this land and its legacy, of choosing goodness, of happiness, of devotion to life, of responsibility, of social involvement, and out of that heart which beats with faith in this country and this nation, out of the great depth of pain flowed springs of love.
“When the heart is full of faith, it can withstand great challenges. I turned my grief into a new melody.”

It is very common for many people to think that very few Muslims have beliefs that would be categorized as radical Islam.  This – Ben Shapiro asserts – is wishful thinking, and has no connection to fact.  Ben asks what percentage of the Muslims believe that Shariah Law should dominate the world.  The answer in nearly every country is consistently way above 50%.
ISIS Supporters
Ben takes it up another level and explains that on average, 20-30% of the Arabs in various countries actually support ISIS.  This is perhaps the most frightening of all stats.  This is based on a Pew Research Center poll.  What this means is that there are tens of millions of Muslims in the world who support a complete takeover of the Western world by radical Muslim elements. ISIS is not a small and insignificant fringe group.  They are a major movement that may one day take over a significant country or big swath of land in the Middle East.  From there, they could threaten much of the Western world.
Moderate Muslims
Let’s be fair.  There are indeed tens of millions of moderate Muslims in the world across all of the continents too.  The question is which side of the Muslim faith will dominate.  These days, the trend looks negative.  But, perhaps the trend can be changed.  Perhaps the Western ways of life will prevail?  Probably not.  There are major forces within the Muslim faith that will hopefully moderate their calls for Shariah Law as a way of life to impose on the world.  Otherwise, it will be a battle to see who has more power.

Child abuse is horrible – in all forms.  However, there are many children today who are switching sides – to the dark side.  Much of the Western world is now in a battle with Radical Islam.  It is a battle against violence.  A battle for freedom.
Nature or Nurture?
There is an age-old argument that exists concerning how children and people in general form their opinions and ideas.  To what extent are the ideas that people take on a result of their nature – meaning, their genetic makeup.  Or to what extent are they impacted by their surroundings?  Of course, both have alot to do with the values and ideas of people.
However, there are times when nurture – meaning – what goes on outside of the home – impacts a child much more than their genetic makeup.  Parents also nurture from inside the home.  However, often the outside world impacts much more on children – especially in the teenage years and onward.
It’s windy out there
A great sage was once asked why children often stray from the paths of their parents.  “Doesn’t the apple fall close to the tree?”  The sage responded that it depends on two things.  One thing is how high the tree is.  But the other thing is how windy it is outside.  It seems that in today’s day and age, it is very windy outside and therefore people are moving – much more than before – away from their parents way of life.
However, if a teenager – especially one that is 17 or above decides to take on an Islamic lifestyle – that is not child abuse.  The parents are not the cause.  That is adult choice.  But, with children under the age of 12 or 13, we need to be more protective and be careful with what they are exposed to at a young age.

Judaism and Christianity
Judaism and Christianity are two totally different religions. But even religions that are not the same can share some similarities. They both value faith, community, righteousness, justice, and morality.
And that is why it is so important to listen to what a rabbi and pastor have to say about each other and to each other. Because despite their differences and their different religions, they believe they share a common ground.
A Rabbi and a Pastor’s Conversation
These two religious leaders discuss the connection between Jews and the Civil Rights Movement. The Jewish people were involved because they have experienced challenges and hardship and look to help others in the same situation.
As the rabbi says, “underdogs take care of underdogs.” The pastor says, “We understand each other’s plight.”
The pastor also makes a point that both Jews and Christians rely on God to save them in troubling times.

This West Wing scene teaches us what should be obvious, but is obviously not.  So much of the leadership of the military employs predictable responses to terror.  The proper response is one that completely intimidates and prevents any future terrorist from acting in the future.  This West Wing scene is so realistic and accurately portrays what should be going on in the mind of a President.  Our enemies need to be scared out of their wits over the response that will befall them if they commit acts of terror.

West Wing
Sometimes we need to turn to Hollywood to teach us some of the most basic aspects of fighting our enemy.  Proportional response doesn’t work.  It is a way to NOT win a war.  It is a way to NOT keep your enemy on their heels.  A country that truly cares about it’s national security does not think about political correctness or any other side issue when it’s national security is at stake.  It takes care of its citizens.  And that means a disproportionate response is the only right response when it comes to national security.

So What Is Your Solution?
This is a question which is commonly tossed at anybody who claims to be unsatisfied with the status quo.  Here is the answer.  The proper solution is one that scares the living daylights out of any potential terrorist.  The terrorists need to cry uncle.  That means an out-of-the-box politically incorrect response for every terrorist act that will cause an international uproar.  If nobody (CNN, MSNBC, New York Times…) complains, then it is probably the wrong response. If everybody complains, it is probably the right response.

Examples of Effective Responses for Israel
One example is family punishment. Banish an entire family from the Land of Israel.  Family ties are deep among Arabs.  If a family knows that if one of their kin kills commits a terror act, then they will wake up in the Sinai and live like Bedouin without a home to return to, they will do their utmost to disarm their radicalized family member.

Another example is to take back land for every terror act.  This is expensive but very effective.  If Israel moves the fence in response to every act of terror, the Arabs will scream like crazy.  (They do that now anyways.)  But the Arabs understand the strategic importance of Land.

A third example is perhaps the most effective and most disgusting.  Bury the terrorist in pig-skin.  According to the Muslim religion this keeps them from getting whatever wonderful things they dream about in the afterworld.  If this saves the lives of Jews, it is worthwhile.  Israel and other Western countries need to be prepared to take off the gloves or else the cycle of terror will just go on endlessly.

Lessons From the Past
None of the above are politically correct.  So they pass that test.  If they prove ineffective, then other ideas need to be explored.  But their are solutions, just as their were solutions for kamikaze bombers and genocidal dictators in World War II.  Either we fight small bands of dictatorial terrorists now or we’ll deal with more powerful dictators of countries with nuclear capabilities in a few more years.

Anila Ali is a Pakistani Muslim at the forefront of the fight against Radical Islam.  She is a woman, and yes, she is a Muslim.  She is also 100% against all of the Radical Islamic hatred within the Muslim community.  That sets her apart from many others.

Her values are against the narratives that have become common in many Mosques today.  She is a brave woman.  All she wants is for the Muslim community to be a normal progressive and open-minded community.
Her opinion is that there are many cultural and religious values that bind different cultures and religions together.  She represents all that is positive in the Western society wherein she lives.
Radical vs. Open-Minded
In the United States, there is a deep history of people who leave their past behind when they reach the shores of America.
America is a very capitalistic society and not a deeply religious one.  The founding fathers hoped that people’s passions would not be religious but commercial. Is it possible for the more devout Muslim people who immigrate to America to adopt less religious and more open-minded ideas?  Yes.
But I doubt they will become the majority.  It is much easier to be connected to foreign cultures today from within America.  You can live the American lifestyle, yet stay connected to spiritual norms in the East.
This is dangerous.  Will the moderate voices win out or the radical voices?  Time will tell.  But she gets an A for effort.

King David’s impact on the Jewish people is truly unique. His musical legacy still lives on today – although some things might be a bit different!

King David ruled in Hebron prior to making Jerusalem the capital of Israel. There is such rich Jewish history in Israel. Whether it is biblical, historical, or archeological, it is hard to sever the ties between the Jewish people and Israel. The world will keep trying, but the truth will prove them wrong.

The King with his Psalms and Harp
One of the ways King David connected with God was through music and Psalms. He cried out to God in times of trouble and also praised God with his music and words. He even used to play the harp!

It is fascinating to realize how connected a great king of Israel was to music.
Music really has the power to connect people to each other and to God in unbelievable ways.

The Copper Scrolls are not anywhere as well-known as the Dead Sea Scrolls.  However, some people actually think that the Copper Scrolls are even more important.

Treasures from The Temple Mount
The Copper Scrolls are one of the Dead Sea Scrolls.  These are not on papyrus.  It is the only ancient metal document.  It dates back to the time right before the destruction of the 2nd Temple nearly 2,000 years ago.

What is the true nature of the copper scroll?  It is basically an ancient treasure map – but only with words – no map directions.  It is an authentic document – but it has no Biblical or literary value.  The real debate is on the topic of what does the copper scroll actually point to.

Where are the Vessels?
The ancient vessels of the Temple Mount are a 2,000 year old question that has existed since the destruction of the 2nd Jewish Temple.  One opinion is that many of the vessels are in the Judean Desert.  A 2nd opinion is that the treasures are located deep underground in Jerusalem.  A 3rd opinion is that some of the vessels are actually somewhere in the Vatican.

Either way, there is an ancient Jewish tradition that indicates that we will find at least some of the vessels in the end of days.

Of course, if we find some of the ancient vessels in the Land of Israel – and especially under the Temple Mount – this would have major theological implications.  The Copper Scrolls are a mystery that may one day open up a new angle to the super-charged issue of rights to the Temple Mount.

This speech by Marco Rubio is a frightening prediction of what the Iran deal structured and agreed upon by Obama with the most dangerous radical Islamic leaders of Iran will bring to the world.

Even if 20% of what Rubio predicts had become a reality, then the world would be a completely different world in a matter of years.

Thank God, the Republicans recaptured the White House.

The executive branch really needed some very serious changes in leadership.

President Trump on Iran
So far, the sanctions that President Trump has clamped on the Iranians seem to be working.

Will the Trump administration completely reverse the Iran deal and all of it’s ramifications?  Hopefully.

It is still unclear, but President Trump has shown that he is willing to go against established norms when it comes to foreign policy attitudes towards North Korea.
