Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I am experiencing quite a lot of pain in my shoulder with arthritis plus my stomach problem playing up.
Yesterday we went to visit my daughter in West Wales in her new home bless her so difficult not being able to do very much with her leg in plaster so we spent most of the time looking through photographs, the hours just flew by so quickly. Just posting my note around Forums before getting off to bed.

Re: What I am up to today
Another busy day, a friend called in for a chat and to share some sad news of a passing a lady I knew in the valley where I was born such a shock as always looked fit and healthy worked hard in her greengrocery store.
Later getting around once again at other Forums to checkin almost forgot to put a note up here.
Hope everyone is keeping OK.

Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
A quick run through today still much rain here in Wales and yes the gardens and farmers do need it but when are we going to enjoy summer months? let us hope it improves by the time the children have their summer break.

Have a great day all.
Blessings
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone good afternoon,
Quite cloudy and windy here today the sun showing its face occasionally, but not long enough, you would think it would be warmer this time of year.
Plans for today much the same things I want to do as previously,
going through boxes of pictures getting some scanned and sharing some with family and friends over at facebook which is quite a task with so many collected over the years plus what has been passed on to me.
Whatever your plans have a good day.
Blessings Elaine
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Rain again here in Wales. I had a late night and early morning I hope to get a nap this afternoon, I need to get some posting done first at our site,
so rushing through Forums today to say I'm here and hope you all have a good day.
Blessings
Re: What I am up to today
Good afternoon everyone,
Smiles and hugs to all who pop in
We have a lovely sunny day here in Wales.
I popped into the garden and managed to collect a few raspberries to enjoy for breakfast, we will need a bit more sun for the rest to ripen.
I have been over at F.B. this morning to catch up there reading replies and posting. Fran my daughter have broken her foot while jumping off a fence she had been painting at her new home, I posted up on her Wall to let others know of her absence as also she will not have internet for a couple of weeks, so not even able to take advantage of resting and getting online, it is going to be quite a challenge for her trying to get things sorted at the new home on crutches.
I mentioned she been spending so much time with her cats
must have thought she could land like one lol.
Yesterday I got a load of pictures uploaded to P.B.
but still much more to go through before I start a Album at F.B.
plus will need to make sure I find the instructions
that they do not go out as a feed on the Wall.
I got my note around Groups and on with other matters
as the day pass so quickly and want to get out in the garden.
Have a great day
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Still raining here in Wales but a promise of brightening up later although the temperature is cool.
Today I plan to scan a load of old pictures to my PC as I am enjoying sharing with family members and friends over at Face Book, also I had promised another, a Christian Forum on the net, picture of my visit years ago to Asia Minor (Turkey) Ephesus and Laodecia in particular which is mentioned in the bible I will also upload to P.B.in an album, so a busy day apart from what I usually post at our site and around Groups.
Have a great day everyone.
Blessings.

Re: What I am up to today
It has been raining all day here in Wales.
I did have a run through the groups early this morning to check what everyone is up to, did a bit of posting at F.B. and had some "mee time" then popped back online to post at our site now to do my rounds once again and to say.

Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Weather here in Wales changeable, cloudy sometimes sunny then moving to being quite breezy. I was up early but once again over at FaceBook getting used to the place. I must say I have to swallow my words said previously, "that I wouldn't be a fan", I have met up with family and some new people who share common interest plus enjoying other Boards. I will need to pace myself to how much time I spend there also, to not neglect Forums that would become less active if everyone let them drop which I must admit still feel F.B. partly to blame for groups closing.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Rain again here in Wales but from what I hear on the news too late to save the crops from the drought we are experiencing,
this will cause further increase to the cost of living.
When I visited Turkey, in Ephesus and other areas, there was much evidence of Roman aqueducts wells and water cisterns surely with today's technology we should be prepared for such as this. It is amazing that these waters supplied villages up-hill.
Why not develop grids instead? A study by the Institute of Civil Engineers a few years ago concluded this is both feasible and cheaper than building new reservoirs. Oh well enough of my rant.
Not much we can do about it other than to use what we have wisely.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
We have rain once again here in my part of Wales which is good for the farmers and our gardens.
A busy and early start to my day yesterday my sister called in after her night shift, then after she left along came the maintenance engineer to check the boiler and smoke alarms working OK
I had forgotten all about this, the days seem to go bye so quickly and not enough hours in the day to get what I wanted to do done. I brought down a load of photo albums and box of loose pics to go through and begin scanning some but I get sidetracked these days catching up on Facebook plus posting at our site and of course there are the day to day things outside of the net.
Today I am making a conscious effort to do my rounds of Forums note, although I do look in every day to see what others up to. Aimoo seem working alright so worth taking the time to do a note.
Whatever your plans hope everything work out good.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
I have been spending some time on Face Book, have surprised quite a few as I had always said not a fan due to many people in MSN Groups dropped out of being active when they had to find a new home when MSN closed all groups. Some are still active but unfortunately many others suffered and folded. I have had to "eat my words" as it has enabled me to get back in touch with family and friends that I had lost contact.
Aimoo Forums where I am member have had quite a few hiccups lately and have been unable often to get in to post to checkin finding out what others are up to and reply to them time permitting, hopefully today no problems as I take a tour.
Whatever your plans have a wonderful day and week ahead.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi Everyone,
I don't plan to venture outside today, very wet and windy here in Wales, so will catch up on replying to posts in threads at Forums where I am member, and not sure what else I will get up to as always plenty to do I need to tidy up my favourites also photobucket need some sorting I have to be in the mood to get on with notes for the book I want to write.
I have been asked how did it go at the Doctors for results on this lump in my stomach.
Allowing me to view on the PC, he read out the report of the radiologist who commented could find no gallstones, or hiatus hernia. The doctor was surprised as a previous scan had showed up both ailments and the doctor had himself examined me measuring the lump in my stomach previously which incidentally is still there and was no mention of that. My doctor said well I have arranged for you to see a surgeon, so it is a matter of waiting for appointment with him and hopefully that will sort out the problem.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
T.G.F.F.
Hi everyone,
Fine at the moment but a bit windy in my part of Wales.
Spring Bank Holiday weekend here in UK I have been invited to a B.B.Q
not sure which day it will be, all according to weather permitting.
I have been unable to get into many Aimoo Groups to check in lately but read from the Today list of some, not going to chance replying to what others have had to say as by the time I have done page freeze and unable to send so I am just going to rush up a Checking in and then on with posting at my site.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Blessings Elaine.

Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Hazy sun here in Wales today
thankfully the wind have died down but still a bit cold.
A quick run through Forums as I have a Dr's appointment
and want to get a few things done on the net before leaving.
I notice Aimoo still being slow to get in
Explorer having to find alternative route.
Hope all have a good day.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Another cold breezy day here in Wales. I spent a little time on the internet early this morning, was watching revelation TV when Mary rang me and said I have something for you can I come round? bless her she had baked one of my favourites carrot cakes so brought two large pieces for Paul and I to have later. We had a cuppa together and chatted, we are both involved in ministry on the internet so always have much to catch up with.
Mary is only able to watch REVTV on the internet so when I have time will see if I can find a way her TV can be tuned in to receive.
I have to pop out to the shop later so thought better get my note around Forums and do some posting at my site.
Hope you have a good day.
Blessings Elaine
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone, A very blustery day here in Wales so the thought of thin out the veg was put on hold for another day. After watching the TV I spent some time this morning looking around facebook, so many active on there I replied to a few I had joined at a site which is where I was born and lived, very interesting to see old pictures posted up surprising how quickly the time goes when moving around F.B. I took time out from posting on the net as Mary popped in again we spent a couple of hours together, it may sound as if we are in each others pockets not so, we enjoy bible study together and there have been quite a bit of catching up to do as she has been busy studying and getting exams done for Uni with her art class. She enjoy playing the guitar but as she fell the other day is having problems with her hand, hopefully nothing broken, not just her hand feeling stiff as bruised elsewhere also, hopefully will soon be on the mend. My bit of news for today to post around Forums Hope everyone is doing OK.
Blessings Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Yesterday we had Rain once again here in Wales, the garden need it.
I was up with the geese at about 6am when they flew over the house honking, spent time at the rabbit warren facebook, then going on to do my regular post only to find many Aimoo Forums unable to get in due to maintenance.
The previous day we had taken the dogs for a walk in the forest so it all caught up with me and I needed a early night.
Today my plan to spend a bit more time at the groups where I am member. I have already been out in the garden and may do a little more weeding later.
Hope everyone is doing OK
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
Rain once again here in Wales I am not complaining as the garden certainly need it. I was up with the geese yesterday at about 6am when they flew over the house honking and just too tired to post around Forums after spending time, the rabbit warren at facebook and doing the daily's over at my site. The previous day we had taken the dogs for a walk in the forest, it all caught up with me and I needed a early night.
Getting this posted around Forums before doing the daily's which are ready on my notepad to post up.
Re: What I am up to today
Good afternoon all,
We have been experiencing some chilly damp weather lately in UK and those with gardens no doubt battling with the slugs and snails doing damage. At some point soon we will have to get on with some weeding to give what is left chance to flourish.
I am later getting online than intended Aimoo was slow opening where I am member of a few groups I check into, I just have one more to pop into Copywrite Corner who incidentally use the same Website space as ours then to get on with posting doing my daily's.
Hope your week ahead is good whatever the weather.
Blessings

Re: What I am up to today
Good evening everyone,
After watching the news I took a quick look around to check what is happening at other Forums, then completed posting daily's at my site.
Took some time out watching video's online which interest me of Dr. Grady McMurtry and Dr. Richard Kent offers all free stuff some "mee time", then out in the garden to find quite a bit of slug attack.
Waffle over.
Since Bill died and the fact he never got round to finishing his pet project, made me give a lot of thought in how I spend my time.
For so many years people have said I should write a book, I jotted down some notes but have so often given it a backshelf as been caught up with other stuff.
I am member of several Forums besides sole poster mostly on the Website World Wide Christians where I took many other Groups under umbrella which I was/am involved in and is I must say NOT A CHORE.
I believe we all need to evaluate what we do with our time and I am sure many can relate there never seem enough time in a day to do what we would have wanted.
I hope to always find the time to interact online in Forums I belong to but needed to do some serious thinking of how I spend my time as I am not in good health with prevents me doing what I was able time past and fit in other matters which is outside the net and prioritize what is important.
I'm pretty sure many of you feel the same as we are all/mostly busy.
I must admit to pushing myself beyond my limits and feel selfish when I see others able/or spending their time to come along and express what I would have wanted to do.
Eyesight is so precious as is time, so I am going to try at best to keep in touch in Forums but also do what I feel important with time. I may not be as lengthy in my check-in post.
Hope all this makes sense to you what I am trying to convey.
Love as always.
Big
Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
I was up with the birds after a late night watching a film on TV so I will no doubt need a afternoon nap. Good to see the sun shining through after the heavy rain. I need to dig in some more traps for the slugs and snails, the wet weather have them coming out in their armies. I got some plastic cups and place the one with holes inside the other filled with beer I guess the birds don't like the brand as didn't go near where many little slugs were attracted and around the outside ready to drop in.
Next doors cat was laying in wait as I went outside with the dogs and just in time to say NO! to Milo who was ready to vault the little fence we had put around the veggie patches, he was about to chase the cat.
I got on the net early this morning browsing around Forums and doing some searching on the web various interesting stuff. Now off to post my daily around and get on with other posting my usual daily's.
Whatever your plans have a good day.
Blessings
Elaine.
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone good morning,
Doing my rounds to let everyone know how things are. A very wet day here in Wales.
I have been reading from the Today list but felt too uncomfortable yesterday to sit for long other than to do what was necessary. I have been asked in Groups how my scan went so I am as usual writing on notepad to post around and easier for me to copy and paste to share, and be easier than me trying to explain to individuals.
Flossy and All
My appointment scan didn't go well at all and copy pasting what I said to Jessie 2/5 at BuzyS... quote:
I am definately not satisfied with the investigation and deff be taking it up with my doctor, I am not one to go for every cough and sneeze and this is too troublesome to ignore.
End of quote.
He should have gone to spec-savers, he said "cannot see anything", well he failed to see gallstones and hiatus hernia which was picked up at a previous scan, but this is another lump which my doctor had seen and measured and still there!
...I could go on and on but would end up a chapter in a book. I am giving enough time for his result to go to my doctor which should be by next week and will go see him.
We had a stormy night here in Wales, thunder lightening and heavy downpour of rain which the gardens and reservoirs need after months of being dry, let us hope we will still have a good summer even though we enjoyed the early warm sunny weather.
Hope everyone is doing OK
Blessings
Re: What I am up to today
Hi everyone,
I had many lovely birthday wishes from my dear online friends thank you.
My birthday didn't go off with a good start, since this lump appeared in my stomach the dress I planned to wear looked awful, hung so very wrong, I wanted to not only look good but feel good, so it was back to slacks and loose top. Things don't always work out the way we plan, nevertheless had a wonderful time, especially catching up with my sister who called in after work and stayed for many hours, we don't see a lot of each other just a couple of times a year and a double blessing with her presence and present of youth dew.
I had pretty birthday cards, my son Paul's a fun one 2 ladies over coffee, I am on two diets, friend said why 2? turn the page, well I never get enough to eat on one lol... loved what Paul wrote: Remember the free things in life are the most precious"
I am sure we can agree. May we count our blessings each day.
We have an appointment at the vet later, also need to go give my vote AV/ for or against at the Poll Station.
The weather quite overcast but I don't think any sign of rain which is badly needed now with wildfires raging across the UK besides much needed for the gardens and to replenish the resevoirs as we have experienced much dry warm weather for such a long time.
Whatever your plans have a great day.
Blessings Elaine.
