Focus: Identity Cards

The Bible says in Revelation 19:20, “He deceived them that had received the mark of the beast”
Notice that those who receive the mark of the beast are deceived.
It stands to reason therefore that 666 and the Mark of the Beast must involve some sort of deception, not be too obvious or easily noticed.
Personally I don't think it has anything to do with identity cards for many are aware and I am sure God would speak to our hearts on this when we are walking close to him.

Yes you might be right. Most christians would not think it wrong to have an identity card yet if it had 666 on it. I think that that would change their minds. The Antichrist will not be revealed and the tribulation will not start until until christians have been called to heaven, however we might see the precursor of preparations in our day. The English have always resisted identity cards yet in Europe carrying a passport is essential all the time and you can be arrested if you don't have one. In America the same is true for the Driving licence l understand.

It has been suggested I'm not sure how true this is that the number 666 refers to three sets of numbers (or letters). Date of birth, Postcode, And a six figure pin number.
