God said:
Then, of course, you can get into non-existent space which certainly clearly, sometimes elegantly, seems to be the very ground you walk on. And you are told that space also is not Truth but fiction.
What is a body to believe? You are actually asked to not believe in what you obviously see, and, also, you are asked to believe in what seems invisible to you.
What a dilemma is all this? You are supposed to pledge yourself to the Unseen and have less allegiance to what you see so readily before you? What kind of sense does this make, you ask.
Please understand I don't ask you to jump off a cliff. There is nothing for you to prove. You don't have to prove the existence of the physical where you presently abide. No, don't do that. Just know that there is an Unseen that is lasting – it lasts forever whether you catch on or not.
Is it not obvious that the physical world you see before you and all the houses and all the physical bodies and the very ground you walk on are not all there is? Your very desire for more tells you that there is more. How would you desire greater love unless greater love exists and exists within you?
Much to your chagrin, physical bodies do not last forever. You admit that.
Moment by moment, everything in the physical is changing. This you do not always see. There is much that is True that your eyes do not see.
Think of all the chatter in the world that you do not hear, yet, on the surface of life, chatter is nevertheless going on.
So many hearts in the world are beating that you do not hear and may not feel love for. You know all right when love is missing.
Look, you were born into this imaginary world of the existent where physical senses were bestowed upon you to use. Of course, use them.
Now begin to wonder about the Unseen which I tell you is true and lasting. I talk about the Everlasting. There must be something to it.
You understand the word Everlasting. Even when you vaguely sort of understand a word, meaning exists to it.
You are good at understanding the word soul. Where do you see your soul? Can you touch it? Can you hold it in your mind or in your hand? Can you paint a picture of it? Tell Me, dear ones, if you were told you had to give up your belief in soul, how would you actually do this? Soul Reality is beyond surface reality by leaps and bounds.
In terms of surface reality, you also do not see all of the surface in front of you. There are aspects of the surface reality that also exist beyond the surface.
Do you see the wind? What you see is the evidence of the wind. You see the leaves move and fall. You may see the wind knock down branches and trees. How can you say in all honesty that wind does not exist merely because you don't literally see it? Do you see the air that you breathe? The wind is made of air. You do know that air exists. Air is physical, yet you don’t literally see it. You can hear the wind, however.
Love is evidenced. Great love is evidenced. Yet where can you put love in a box and show it to everyone? You well know what love is and can be. The eyes and mind can see evidence of love whereas the human heart well-knows love and knows the Existence of Love. At the same time, human beings will say that love is gone, that is, as they interpret their love on the surface level of life.
You, too, beloveds, play between the surface and the deeper levels of life. You traverse back and forth.
And there are deeper levels yet for you to reach by going beyond.
Know that there are human beings who walk between both worlds, and, for them, it is as easy as pie. I say you too can do it. I say you are doing it.

God said:
Yes, you always like to hit the highs. Even on more or less ordinary days, you want to soak in happiness. Remind yourself that it is not leaps of joy you are looking for. Just this very moment is Our occasion to be together in joy. The reason to be happy is to be happy.
Let nothing interfere with Our happiness. There is nothing you have to have for happiness that you don't already have. You can be happy today and not wait for tomorrow. You are dependent upon nothing for your happiness.
Listen to what I just said: You are dependent upon nothing for your happiness. Happiness is a given. Know you have all that you need for your happiness today. Nothing more is required for you to be happy than to accept happiness. Happiness is a natural state of receiving. Don't let today's natural state of happiness slip away from you. Why accept a lesser state of consciousness?
If you say you have to have more happiness in order to be happy, you lead yourself astray. All you require for happiness, you have.
Somewhere along the line, My children became jaded. You thought you needed certain events or qualities in order to be happy. You threw away certain receipts for happiness in a pout.
You don't need a new dress, a new car, or a new anything at all. All you need is to anticipate happiness itself. Happiness is on order for you today. Don't accept displeasure. Do not accept malcontent. Happiness is something you ARE, beloveds. Happiness is not something tossed at you. Happiness is the natural scheme of things. Be the happiness.
Happiness does not have to be something stupendous. Rather, happiness is a blessing that you accept. There is enough happiness for everyone. Keep your eye on the sparrow, beloveds.
If there is birdsong today, be happy. If you are alive today, be happy. You may have been getting out of the habit of being happy. Come what may, be happy for your existence and all the built-in-happiness that is yours. Did the sun shine today? Be happy. Did it rain today? Be happy for the rain as well as the sun. Set the tone of your happiness. The simplicity in this will come to you as a great revelation.
There is nothing you are dependent upon for your happiness except all the happiness in the world. It is available to you just as you are. You don't have to wear a crown. You don't have to marry a prince. Life is a walk you take. The particular walk you take doesn't have to swing you through the trees or traverse the flowers in order for you to be happy.
What is there for you to anticipate today? Naught but joy before you. Anticipate nothing less.
I did not create you a sourpuss who has to be crooned to all day. Whatever befalls, pick up your happiness. You were not born to be a grouch. Wait not for the world to please you, dear ones. Starting today, pluck happiness and make it yours.
If your wife does not smile at you, smile at her. What has to make travel together difficult? Call a truce. You may say that nothing will change your life. You are probably correct, for nothing will change your life but you and how you greet it. Everyone else in your life can be wrong, yet you are the one to change your frame of mind. If your present life is untenable for you, change your tune. Shift the light you pour on your life. Open a new page.
You have seen that changing from one life or another may not change your life. You threw out one life out for another. A new life can work, yet often it does not. Something in you has to be more optimistic than before. Be happy. Cast off unhappiness.
When push comes to shove, give someone else a little happiness. If you cannot do this on behalf of an individual, then do it for Me.
Happiness is not out of your reach. Happiness is as close as your heart. Clear out from your heart that which blocks it. Be good to yourself, and be good to others. Take a chance on being happy. Decide your happiness ahead of time. Don't wait for it. Give yourself happiness right now. Don’t wait for happiness to come later.
As a matter of fact, happiness is waiting for you around every corner. Simply oblige. You can do it. You can be happy right this minute. Decide ahead of time. Be happy now. You are meant for happiness. You are meant for happiness in this moment. You are a Child of God. Let your happiness in.

God said:
The Surface of Life altogether is like an illustration. The Surface of Life is an AS IF. IF Life were truly as it appears to be on the surface, IF Life truly were as it is generally thought of and presumed to be, where then would miracles lie?
It appears that My children lead Separate Lives. Human Beings live in separate homes with separate addresses and separate everything. For the most part, as Life is viewed, none of the twain meet, yet the Unvarnished Truth is that there are no Separate Lives. There is Oneness. This may not be obvious to you. This may seem like quite a Leap of Faith that could not be true as you see it when you look around you.
Death seems obvious. At some point, all the people that you know and do not know, will close their eyes and stop to breathe, and then you may accept this as a permanent gap. The Truth is that no one lives alone, and no one dies as death is commonly thought of.
Nothing is what it, at first, seems. Beneath the ground, gold mines thrive.
Seeing is not believing, and so it is with sound as it is with sight. Noise goes on, day and night, horns honking, sirens blaring, voices talking and lions roaring and all manner of sounds, one sound and another, while the Deeper Truth is that My Children are immersed in Silence where all are joined. This seems like such a contradiction, yet it is Silence that overtakes noise. Not just somewhat, not just moderately, but all the way across uproar.
Silence is long and deep, and Silence carries you Great Distances, when, all the while, distance exists not at all. There is no near. There is no far. There is no multiplicity. There is Oneness, that's it.
In the midst of incompleteness, the Truth is that you are Wholeness. You are this raved-about Infinity. All along, you are Infinity. You will discover yourself as you truly are. This will be the Greatest Discovery of Mankind.
This discovery is inevitable. At this Realization, you will be in awe, and you will start smiling and laughing as you never smiled or laughed before. You may not be able to stop laughing. Your laughter will resound around the world. Your laughter will change the world before your very eyes.
In the world, it is taken as a matter of course that there is not enough room for everyone and that, therefore, there must be borders and restrictions and, alas, no Room at the Inn. It is said that, of necessity, all in the world must take care of their own. This is cried out as necessary for survival. This is what is said you must do and isn't to be considered selfish at all under prevailing conditions. What an excuse for selfishness! Do not exonerate selfishness. Say it like it is.
If you declare you must have a safety clause, you have forgotten the Power and Expansion of Consciousness and the Power and the Expansion of the Heart where anything and everything is possible.
You are already seeing that the Lion and the Lamb lie down together. You have seen Miracles of Love. Have you ever seen Miracles resulting from selfishness, have you?
When Higher Motive and Higher Vision come into play, what you call a miracle is an ordinary event. In one view, We can say that All Miracles are ordinary events. The Sun rises every day.
It is not wise to deny the Existence of Miracles. We are not speaking of a Genie. We are speaking of Naturally and Inevitably-occurring Laws no different from those when you expect water to flow downward and the Sun to rise by day and Stars to come out at night. I demand that you Claim the Common Sense of Miracles and desire that your consciousness grow so you know what Love is.

Ego is a false God. No longer give reverence to ego. Ego may serve a purpose. The true purpose of ego is to help you let it go of it. In this sense, ego serves a tremendous purpose. In this sense, ego serves a Holy Purpose. The dissolution of ego is worthy.
The swelling of ego is a distraction from your True Purpose which is simply and unequivocally service, not necessarily primarily to yourself. Ego is full of fancy. Ego is fanciful. Your ego is not meant to be highlighted. No bowing down to ego. There are to be no flourishes. Ego is not meant to be a velvet cape that you swirl as though you were a toreador ready to subdue a bull.
It is inevitable that you will get up off your knees to swarthy ego. No longer will you worship and extol ego. Ego leads you down a crooked path. There is a big difference between ego and, let’s say, the Glory of God.
Ego would make you big. It would blow your head up out of proportion. Ego would have you swagger. Yes, ego goes to your head. At the same time, ego doesn’t give you much. In Truth, ego defeats you. Every time, ego lets you down. You fall down every step that ego takes you on. Ego is a hot air balloon. Ego can only fizzle out. Ego doesn't even say, "Sorry." Ego tricks you. Oh, yes, what a trickster ego is. With ego, you really bet on the wrong horse.
You, in fact, are far more worthy than ego tries to make you out. Ego whips a cape around you and does a magic act that has fooled you.
Again and again, this happens, and each time you are taken in. Ego would deny you substance. Ego would divert you from your worth. Look, ego does a pretty good job of catching you off-guard. Be silent, and you will hear ego's tee-hee of victory. You will no longer fall into ego's triumphant clasp.
Yet the day will come, and come soon, where you no longer have patience with ego. You will bid ego adieu. You will say good-bye to ego once and for all. You will come to your senses. You will be amazed that you were ever taken in. You will write a popular song about what a fool you were. The Truth will dawn on you, and you will not succumb to ego again.
Ego has left you disappointed more than enough times already. Alas, you don’t quite understand how you were taken in.
There are all kinds of stories written, and no longer do you believe every one. You have been led down a garden path often enough. Ego seemed amazing once, and you see ego now for what it is – a wool gatherer, a ceremonious fraud, a jokester. Sure, ego was great at tricking you. You fell for ego time and time again.
Now you realize that it was not even ego who led you down the garden path. Now you see that it was you yourself, vain-glorious, who really tricked you. So, okay now, Life has set you straight. No longer will you be side-tracked. Artificial flowers will no longer hold such great charm as they once did.
You will see ego for what it is, and wonder how it is that you were taken in. Alas, you were a fool, and now you are forewarned. Now you are wiser on a scale of what happiness really amounts to.
No longer have you a need to flaunt yourself. No longer have you a need to crave such portions of Life that you once thought were your saving grace -- only to find out that they were wolves in sheep's clothing,
Say Sayonara, to ego. Say: "I am wise to you now. You are not the cream of the crop. You do not have my best interest at heart. Off with you."

Heavenletter #5883 Who Is Going to Have a Heart unless God Does?, January 2, 2017

God said:
My children are not worthy or unworthy based on their scores in the world.
The world has thought this was the case. When, as a child, you were "good" Santa Claus left gifts for you. It mattered a lot if you were "naughty or nice." When you met an objective or imposed standard, you were good. When you didn't meet a designated standard, alas, you were not good.
You aren't a better person because you reap an A on a test. You are not a worse person because you fail a test. All the results mean is that you got a certain grade on a test. I suppose if you got a C on the test, you would have been seen as if you were an average so-so person. You passed the test, yet you aren't high on the list.
What happened to: "Judge not lest you be judged?"
I have to wonder how empty it feels to you to be merited highly because you got an A on a test. Or because you are taller than someone else. Or prettier. How much do all these matters really matter when all is said and done? Ah, but when you live in the world and are judged as the world judges, demerits can be hard to take.
It is as if there is an exclusive club to join. This club has become "In." Everyone wants to be part of this club. It seems to so happen that snobbishness rules this club. Way too many are ruled out for one reason or another. This club is simply not available for everyone.
Endless are the ways worthy people are ruled out. Yet this smattering is bought and sold as the way it is supposed to be -- has to be -- for one snooty excuse or another.
It is a good thing that I don't discriminate when it comes to admitting people to Heaven. I do not exclude. Heaven is not a sorority or a fraternity. If there is an initiation to join Heaven, We can say the initiation to Heaven is Life Itself. What have you been doing but Living Life? How can you not qualify? Everyone alive will be welcomed into Heaven. Not one soul is left out. Why wouldn’t you welcome this idea?
I have said before: Where is it optimum for a struggling soul to be but in Heaven so he may learn from all those who scored better on their tests than he did? Why on Earth would I lump all the bad guys together to fend for themselves in ignorance when I can put them together with their brothers and sisters who can show them the way with love, not abandonment?
Who is going to have a heart if I don’t?
I live up to My Truth. I do not set myself up to look good for appearance's sake. I am not interested in politics or gaining votes. Popularity, as popularity is known in the world, is not My motivation. Good to the world – and that includes you -- is My motivation. Joy to the world is My motivation. Love passed on to all your brothers and sisters is My motivation. That I desire Love to Abound is My motivation, and this is My Fulfillment as well. Please let that be obvious to you. I am not Performance-Oriented, and I have no hidden agenda.
That All I Am may be beyond your understanding has to carry Truth.
With less than full understanding, would you really want to take over the world?
Beloveds, you have already participated in hassling Our Beautifully Created World with restrictive thinking. This is the tool you have used. Now come from a Higher Place. Now have a deeper perception of yourself and of all others including the beasts of the field and any so-called Lesser Beings, Human or otherwise. Everyone is invited. Open your heart to all on My Behalf. There is no reason to leave out anyone. I am an All-Inclusive God.
Be My All-Inclusive Child.

God said:
You stand in the midst of Heaven, and you know not where you are. Rather, you find cause to worry where you are and what you are doing all over the place and yin and yang, here and there, this way, that way.
For what end do you wander the Earth looking for something more than you presently receive? For what end? For what end, beloveds ones, but to Be? By seeking and even wandering, you are fulfilling My Will for ever and anon. This is Our Holy Contract.
To Be means to Be beyond borders. To Be means to be above the world.
You fear that while you are stationed on Earth, something is at stake. There is nothing at stake. Your Presence, as is Mine, is assured. There is nothing you are missing by Being. There is nothing more to Be but what you really are. Being is Infinity, and Infinite, you are. You are the New Visionary of the Universe.
Does a star wonder who or what he is or where? What boundary must a star know? Does a star have to know east or west or what a neighborhood is named and by what authority?
Stars have no questions to ask. Stars shine Light. They have nothing to answer. They simply reflect Light. And so are stars blessed, and so are you blessed.
Truly, what more do you have to do than to be Light? What more can you do but Be Light? Consider yourself the Fortunate of the Fortunate. Accept with Grace the Great Calling that has been given to you.
I gave you Light to Shine so that you will shine Light from the High Heavens. I didn't ask you to be shy. I didn't ask you to hold back out of modesty. I said: "Shine the Light I give so that all may shine and see My Light. My Light, your Light -- shine Light simply, profusely, profoundly and Infinitely."
Light needs no instruction. Sometimes, you can use some reminding not on how to shine but rather to remember to shine. Hey, shine for all you are worth. This is not a form of pretense. Naturally, you don’t shine your Light by looking down at your feet.
Look at no one's feet. Look up beyond the Heavens and match the Light of the Stars. Tell me, what is more pressing than shining the Light you are meant to shine? You don't do this by effort, you understand this by now. You shine simply and naturally with all the Love in your Heart.
In Life, you are to look up and light the world so that all may see what is destined to shine. The Majesty of the Universe is set before you so you may radiate your Light and sing it as part of a Chorus of Angels. You will clearly resonate with the Universe to the Tune of My Light. Look at Me, and say, "Yes, I will.''
Say: "Yes, God, I shine Your Light that is also mine, and I shine it for Your Glory."
You know that the world craves more than its daily bread. Everyone on Earth craves the Magnificence of Daily Light.
Catch up with yourself. Leap ahead. A thousand giant steps are not too many. You are not a lone shadow that skulks around. Stand up right now and start the Issuance of Light.
Light is taking over. Nothing else is. Darkness is a thing of the past. The past is no longer worthy of you. Light has been Lit, and now Light stays lit for all the world to be reminded of Light and to establish Light in the eyes and hearts of all.
Shine on, Practitioners of God's Light. It is you who is fulfilling Destiny. You and I serve. We serve the world as Inseparable Beings. You are serving it now, and you are serving Me aplenty. This moment has come.

God said:
That there is no time to waste means that the time is now to get on with Life. For Heaven’s sakes, why not make your dreams come true before your very eyes. Go for your dreams. Stop watching TV for a while, and go for your dreams. Admit your dreams into your Life. Make room for them.
If you think your dreams can't come true -- why would you possibly lean toward that idea? Your heart is the decider. When it comes to your dreams, play the odds that your dreams will come true.
Don't say that it's more likely your dreams won't come true than that they will. Why pledge yourself to lack? Talk about betting on the wrong horse. Bet on yourself, and not against yourself. What advantage do you see in accepting inability? Come on now, give yourself a chance to see what you and I can do.
Bet on your dreams. And if you have to bet a hundred times, bet a hundred times.
Certainly, it is great to applaud others. It is also great to give yourself a chance. Whatever you desire to do in the world, who is it to say that you cannot achieve -- or must not? No longer tell yourself that you are a wishful thinker. Who says there is anything wrong with being a wishful thinker anyway? Should you be a nay-sayer? Should you cut yourself off at the corral? Why not dub yourself a winner. Who says you can't surprise yourself and the whole world? Go for it! How much is Life worth to you without a good dream or two?
What are your deepest desires? Go ahead and desire them. Allow your desires to come true. You don't have to even think of what you want as miraculous. Dreams come true every day. Why not for you, beloved? Why not for you?
What does the world mean by suggesting that what you desire is too far-fetched? What are you doing telling yourself? -- that you are getting too big for your britches? Everyone I know who ever dreamed big dreams was scoffed. You don't have to scoff yourself.
Listen. There is no dream too big. Nor do you have to feel that your dream MUST come true. It is good enough to know that your dream can come true. Dream your dreams. Go for them. Keep open all possibilities. Miracles happen in the world every day. Make allowance for your miracles. Dream your dreams true. Don't set your dreams aside. What good is that? What have you to lose if your dream doesn't come true? At the least, you had the immediate joy of desiring it.
If you want a forward-moving Life, keep yours eyes on your target. Was it written somewhere that only fast-approaching dreams can come true? In any case, it is not for you to quash your dreams. Make room for dreams.
You haven't yet dreamed the half of it. Be ambitious with dreams. A dream in the hand is worth two in the bush.
If it takes courage for you to dream big, have courage. I tell you frankly that having dreams can never be a waste of time. You can lead an ordinary Life and still have dreams. You are greater than a winner or loser. You have many opportunities. Allow yourself the possibilities. Open wide your vision.
You have a chance. You don't have to drop everything. You can add a dream here and there. What would you like to add to your Life? Start somewhere. Start dreaming. You are entitled to your dreams. Dreams are to be dreamed. You are worthy of dreams. Call dreams to you. Refresh your dreams. Plant big dreams in your heart. Say Hello to Life.

God said:
Life sure seems like a mystery, a mystery filled with magical moments, and even miracles. Don't miss the magic and the miracles. Certainly don't put your time and energy on studying all the trials and misfortunes.
When you come down to it, all of Life on Earth is a miracle. Who could make up how babies are conceived and born? Who could, as a matter of fact, make up the entire Miracle of Life? And who could conceive of anything so fantastic as Life as it lives its ways out in the world?
There are separate little houses that people live in, and separate little cars that people spend time in and drive around in during the day and may fall asleep in at night. And there are places like wigwams and igloos and domes and homes on the range.
There are places along the way where you can go in to buy food and cooked meals and other sundry things. There are snapshots and paintings and facts and fiction, many facts and fiction that are impossible to keep separate.
Everything has been thought of, it seems, and then something new is thought of and merchandized.
There is nothing new under the sun, and yet there is. There are rainbows and thunderstorms all on the same Earth and new each time. Life on Earth is compelling, and Life on Earth is bizarre. There are matters like jokes, and there are operas that are stories told and sung to the tunes of beating hearts.
What is there that has not yet been discovered on Earth and in Heaven?
Life on Earth in a body is no more than the blink of an eye.
You arrive. You stay. You leave and go on somewhere else even as there is only Oneness and nowhere else but with Me, of Me, to Me, a Great Font of Love as We speak.
How can it be that Love is ever forgotten on Earth, and yet it sure seems Love has, too often, been cut out and excluded, as if Love were forgotten, or scavenged and not even considered.
What ridiculousness is this? What irony? One extreme is ravaged and forsworn for another, as if Love doesn't really matter, as if business comes before Love. As if there are interchangeable parts of Life. As if all parts of Life are equally worthy or unworthy, and difference is of no import. Did you ever hear of anything so impertinent? As if nothing on Earth really matters. As if Love does not matter more than what money can buy.
You live in a challenged world. There may be undignified signs in the world that point you in various directions. Go by My Sign. Remember Love. If you remember nothing else, remember Love.
Let smallness not be made big. Let smallness be forgotten. Remember Me.
Let suffering become forgotten.
Let goodness and mercy be your daily thoughts.
Let Hearts be softened throughout the Universe. Let thoughts be transformed throughout the Universe. Let there be Roads of Joy that you walk on. Let the Sun shine in your heart. Let naught but Love be known and renowned.
Let hearts meet and be interchangeable with all other hearts. Let all hearts sing out. Let every heart be claimed forever and ever. Hearts are to be One.
Let all lift their feet up above the Earth and ascend to Heaven in the wink of an eye.
Let all the Good that is predicted float across your vision.
Let everyone look at Earth and say, "Ah, this is good."

God said:
You stand in the midst of Heaven, and you know not where you are. Rather, you find cause to worry where you are and what you are doing all over the place and yin and yang, here and there, this way, that way.
For what end do you wander the Earth looking for something more than you presently receive? For what end? For what end, beloveds ones, but to Be? By seeking and even wandering, you are fulfilling My Will for ever and anon. This is Our Holy Contract.
To Be means to Be beyond borders. To Be means to be above the world.
You fear that while you are stationed on Earth, something is at stake. There is nothing at stake. Your Presence, as is Mine, is assured. There is nothing you are missing by Being. There is nothing more to Be but what you really are. Being is Infinity, and Infinite, you are. You are the New Visionary of the Universe.
Does a star wonder who or what he is or where? What boundary must a star know? Does a star have to know east or west or what a neighborhood is named and by what authority?
Stars have no questions to ask. Stars shine Light. They have nothing to answer. They simply reflect Light. And so are stars blessed, and so are you blessed.
Truly, what more do you have to do than to be Light? What more can you do but Be Light? Consider yourself the Fortunate of the Fortunate. Accept with Grace the Great Calling that has been given to you.
I gave you Light to Shine so that you will shine Light from the High Heavens. I didn't ask you to be shy. I didn't ask you to hold back out of modesty. I said: "Shine the Light I give so that all may shine and see My Light. My Light, your Light -- shine Light simply, profusely, profoundly and Infinitely."
Light needs no instruction. Sometimes, you can use some reminding not on how to shine but rather to remember to shine. Hey, shine for all you are worth. This is not a form of pretense. Naturally, you don’t shine your Light by looking down at your feet.
Look at no one's feet. Look up beyond the Heavens and match the Light of the Stars. Tell me, what is more pressing than shining the Light you are meant to shine? You don't do this by effort, you understand this by now. You shine simply and naturally with all the Love in your Heart.
In Life, you are to look up and light the world so that all may see what is destined to shine. The Majesty of the Universe is set before you so you may radiate your Light and sing it as part of a Chorus of Angels. You will clearly resonate with the Universe to the Tune of My Light. Look at Me, and say, "Yes, I will.''
Say: "Yes, God, I shine Your Light that is also mine, and I shine it for Your Glory."
You know that the world craves more than its daily bread. Everyone on Earth craves the Magnificence of Daily Light.
Catch up with yourself. Leap ahead. A thousand giant steps are not too many. You are not a lone shadow that skulks around. Stand up right now and start the Issuance of Light.
Light is taking over. Nothing else is. Darkness is a thing of the past. The past is no longer worthy of you. Light has been Lit, and now Light stays lit for all the world to be reminded of Light and to establish Light in the eyes and hearts of all.
Shine on, Practitioners of God's Light. It is you who is fulfilling Destiny. You and I serve. We serve the world as Inseparable Beings. You are serving it now, and you are serving Me aplenty. This moment has come.

God said:
It has been said that it rained for forty days and nights. Life has also presented droughts. Where are the rains and droughts of yesteryear? Where are the snows and all the shoveled snows? Long gone.
It is not a new idea that, on Earth, everything, every single apparent thing and person and experience is temporary.
If you could pick and choose what is temporary, that would make you feel better. Yet you can't pick and choose. Or, that is: Sooner or later, your preferences are put aside. And you, one day, the way you see it, you are put aside. This thought looms over you, and you wonder how this can possibly be.
Of course, you never leave life, and you are never absent. Therefore, you are always present. Even after your so-called demise, you ever exist, and you exist on levels you may have no idea of.
If you were a commodity – you are far more than any commodity – you are a precious commodity. You are soul. You are a precious soul.
Do you have any idea how precious a soul you are?
On another level – you and I – are One. This is the permanent Reality. Oneness is. Anything less or anything that you might call more is fiction.
You may be weary of the theater you play in, yet you don't want to give it up either. There is something about drama that you get caught up in. You don't love every movie you see, yet you aren't quite ready to let go of it. You like to know what's playing. You're hooked on it, as a matter of fact. You sure like to watch the TV series you like. You will stay up all hours in order not to turn it off.
One day or evening you will turn off the TV and say goodbye to Life as you presently know it. You will be off-screen. The people who stay on Earth after you feel like you have dropped out of sight, gone bye-bye, gone a different route. You think that those who have left their bodies behind are passe. You have it backwards.
Those who have what you call passed on happen to be exactly in front. They are the Stars of the Show. It's just that your eyes cannot quite see through the mist. You can see only so far.
To your heart and mind, Life is hustle and bustle. You see Real Life as a Traffic Jam. You have Life mixed up. Real Life is Oneness. Oneness is Fullness. To many, much of Life on Earth seems to be emptiness.
In any case, there is no being absent from Life. Away from Life does not exist. What you call absent is more fully present than anything else you can think of. What you call rampant with Life doesn't come near the Exhilaration of Life.
In any case, you are always paddling your own canoe. There is no place where Life does not engage in Life. Life is never around the corner or before. Life is always right now. There is no dead or alive. There is only alive, in a body or not. A body has an interim, but Life – never. There is never a pause in your Life, for your soul leads Perpetual Life.
Perpetual Life means you are always alive. Your body is not the only form of Life you appear in.
For Heaven's Sakes, there is more to you than your body. No matter how important your body and senses and all that are to you, they are magnificent and important yet not the most of you. I say this, not as a judgment, but as Truth. Your body, as precious as it is, is the least of you.
Enjoy your short term on Earth. Also know that you can never die, never ever. Infinity means this. Dear Ones, you are always Home safe. You always come shining through.
Beloveds, you are My Light.

God said:
If you don't like the word gratitude, then think of the word appreciate in the case that you are more comfortable with the word appreciate.
What are they, these words, but a recognition of a gift dropped off to you? The recognition of a gift is a notice, a little nod, or perhaps even a blink of joy that says: "You gave me something. I received it. I am glad. You gave me a chance to look up."
It is not downplaying yourself to express thanks to anyone. You are not too busy. Life is meant to be simple. Every one of My children is meant to be star-crossed. There is love in the stars perpetuated on Earth.
Everyone recognizes the great gift a plucked dandelion is that a little child hands to his mother. It takes no thought. The dandelion is a pure direct gift from the child's heart. The dandelion wants to be given, and the child hands forth his heart. The dandelion is a declaration of the child's love ringing over the Universe. Love is declared, and all hear the ringing of the bells whether they are consciously aware of this or not. Love reverberates. Everything reverberates. Everything is heard everywhere. Everyone is affected.
The Kohinoor diamond could not be a greater gift than the yellow dandelion. A diamond may not be nearly as great a gift as the child's offering of the dandelion. A young child has no pause between wanting to spread joy and the declaration of it. The gift of a dandelion is Oneness signaled.
It is natural for a child of God to give from his heart, and it is natural for the receiver of a gift to acknowledge his recognition of the gift. Someone gives a gift, and the receiver says, "Thanks." One gives, one receives, and both are as One. Both are saying, "Thanks."
Giving a gift and the appreciation are One and the Same. A gift is given. Thanks are given. Oneness of Heart gives thanks for Oneness.
No gift is little. No act is little. The simplest acts may be great. How easy it is to bless the world and all who find themselves in the world. All may not know what on Earth they are doing here, how on Earth they got here, yet everyone is here to appreciate, as I appreciate the world I made and you. And you.
How brave it is for you to be in the world, and how propitious. You wear no armor. You carry no sword. You live in the world, and you smooth the way for all. Your Presence is a gift. You are here on Earth for a purpose. Across the board, your purpose is to bless and to spread joy.
Your gifts are lasting. The gifts you gave years ago may be remembered now long after you forgot about giving them. In this way, you are thought of. The gift you give is always yourself and not the object you hand over.
You may never know how great a gift you gave. You may never know what the gift you gave might have meant to the receiver or how it may have lifted his life. A gift is a live thing. A gift represents you. A gift is a great thing. If only you dared to declare love all the time by your very presence.
How did self-consciousness enter into the world? When did giving gifts become a production? When did Life lose its spontaneity? When did the natural become thought-out? When did giving gifts become expected, and gifts had to be good enough, fit into a mold, and be wrapped just so? When did there become a pattern for gift-giving rather than impulse?
How do you get back to the bounty main of your heart? When do you bless yourself next with love expressed and expressed again and again?

God said:
Where does a day go? Where falls a memory? What does it mean when someone says that out of mind is out of sight? When you come down to it, what does anything mean when everything is skipping along on its way at the very moment it seems to occur, or, pretends to occur, or acts as if it occurs, and what was, as it once was, is never to occur again. Something filled a place. You thought it was supposed to be forever. It slipped away, never to be seen again as it you had been sure it was supposed to.
There are those times when nothing seems to make sense. In that case, why harp on Life's having to make sense to you then? Forget about sense. Life does not have to make sense. Who said that Life has to make sense? Who set up that idea and told you that Life is bound to follow your good sense?
Let Life be what it happens to be. Life is a puzzle like Humpty Dumpty that can't be put together to make perfect sense – as Humpty Dumpty was once upon an imaginary time. Life is perfectly capable of being what it is when it is. To My children, that often means not to make any sense at all. You have some say in Life, yet you are not the authorized final decider of the world.
You are not to reframe your Life according to opinion or fashion or restriction when Life is unrestricted and has more say than you.
Anything goes in Life. You may wonder:
"How can Life make new plans for us trembling human beings against our will? Really, how can there be anything new come up in Life when we were not given a chance to prevent it or change it before it’s finality? How can it be that Life can possibly know what it's doing when it is devastating to us who seem to care more about Life than Life Itself does?"
Beloveds, Life tells its own story. No matter how strongly you feel, it can't be that Life is confused. It has to be that there are thoughts of yours to unwind and let Life be. The unwinding or unsettling of your own thoughts and impressions are what you can change. Seeing another way is your second lease on Life.
Eggs do fall off the wall. The Sun does cook eggs and the wind can make butter. Ice is said to take up more space than water. Who knows where the dice will fall. Really, who can say the dice are to fall this way or that way?
You may accuse Life of being unkind or unfair to you. It may be not quite fair of you to accuse Life of faulty management. Perhaps you are asking too much of Life to be decorous and understanding and to deferring to your personal will?
Dear Ones, serve Life. You have say in your Life, yet it's not for you to rule or scold Life around. Life makes its call, and so it is.
Life can astonish you with its power. Once the die is cast, Life doesn't change the throw of the dice. We speak of your immediate Life, yet you have heard that there is a cognition that All of Life is really vastly going on all at once, and you are living many layers or dimensions all at once. Because you can't quite comprehend doesn't mean that Life can't be any way Life Itself Says It Is to Be.
Life is free-form. And so must you relinquish what form Life seems to take and you be free-form as well.

Yes, I hear a recurrent refrain in the world in one form or another like this:
"Beloved God, yesterday, at the supermarket, an old friend came over to tell me how good I look. Looks aren’t everything by a long shot, yet, wow, what a fine message this was to hear!
"What if every day l receive this message instead of so many of the messages I hear day end and day out? I would like a message like this every day and even greater than this!
"God, it cannot be in the natural scheme of life to be heartsick over age in Life. It cannot be that decline and disappointment are meant to tell the story of our lives.
"This friend, who cheered me, is certainly one of the most happy most loving people I know. It must be that happy and loving are the same. Such a little thing I grasp at. What good is anything without cheer?
“God, what happened to my happiness, the remembered days when I was eager to jump out of bed in the morning to see what every day would bring? How did all my once-anticipated joy turn to dust? How do I restore my Life to Joy?”
Dear One, now I take you aside from the madding crowd. I tell you in no uncertain termes that you are not to feel down and out because you looked away or askance at joy, dear one. This kind of atonement wears you out.
Let this be like shoveling coal for your furnace. Soon enough – or even lickety-split – you will have enough fire lit, and you will re-ignite your furnace, and your furnace will stay lit. It will never go out again. You will have perfectly regained and maintained energy. Life will recharge you.
No longer will life wear you down. You will not mope. No, not ever again. Your View of Life will not allow it.
I do not desire you or anyone to believe in age as a weakening force. That idea reveals a serious misunderstanding. Age is not your downfall. Your thoughts about age may be your downfall.
Age is meant to be a blessing. I ask you to start thinking in a new way. A ripeness of joy and energy will rush on their way to you.
Brightness of Spirit is meant to accompany age, and Great Brightness of Spirit is to accompany Great Age. Age is all an illusion anyway. If time does not exist, how can age reign? The physical body may age, yet the concept of old age as the world may supply it, is a fallacy. Don’t believe in fallacies. Keep dancing.
I designed you as a Fountain of Youth. None of the symptoms that are labeled as indicative of age are true. No longer prepare yourself to avoid symptoms. Don't believe in symptoms. Don't look for them. What on Earth would you want them for?
All your life you have heard about the deleterious effects of age. If you hear about what is remiss often enough, you come to believe it. You take stock in it. Expect aches and pains, and they will obediently rush to you. They will rush to you impartially.
Expect the fulfillment your heart desires, and this fulfillment will also find its way to you. Joy and sorrow both can be enjoined.
Wisdom and mind and heart are to grow. Wisdom, mind and heart are not designed to pull you down. Never are you meant to leave your life disengaged from your health and skills and Bright Light. Bright Light is your Birthright.
Vanity is to fade, yes, of course, but not the rose on your cheek, no, not rose on your cheek.
Right now together, you and I, We prime the Pump of your Life. Less than Truth is not meant to come True. Truth is meant to come True. The Dewdrops of Youth are to last far longer than you have been led to believe. There is a lasting moisturizer you do not buy in the store. No longer believe in mass consensus. No longer believe in Old Wives' Tales.

“You are the Star that illuminates the Earth.”
I hear the weeping in your heart. I hear all that you have been holding back. Today you reveal the Offhand Lostness of Your Bewildered Heart. How can this be? Yet here you are:
"Beloved God, to Your Heart may I be true. May I know only You. May I put my attention on You and not me. I am tired of the attention I put on my doubts and worries, piling up one after the other. This is my Life, and I waste it on small matters, mainly, self-interest and frantic worry. I have a God. Help me, God, to avail my Self of You and not my pile-up of heartache.
"Why must I think of that which stresses my heart, as if that preoccupation were of some avail? I am heartsore. Disturbance is not the good of my life, so why why why do I spend my life on that which crushes me when I could spend my life on that which enriches me. I could contribute to others from one degree to another. Why oh why, why would I be stingy?
"It would seem that I have gotten off track. Supposedly in the name of happiness, I run myself down into the ground.
"If I am not serving You, God, what am I doing? What am I here for? If I am prohibiting the Fulfilment of Life for myself, then it must be that I am clouding the Joy of Life for all those whom You would refer to as my brothers and sisters. My heart gets cold. I come up against strangers with glints in their eyes.
"Beloved God, set me straight on an Upward Spiral of Life. Keep me free from distraction from anything less than Love on Earth. I am so tired, of all the diversions from love that I stumble over and take to heart. Help me to love. I am so tired of being in want. If I truly desire Love so much, why don't I love more?
"For Your Sake, God, help my heart to beat for love. Help me to take Your Heart and know it as mine. Help me to know no other heart but Yours.
"God, You don't give up on me, do You? I couldn't be the one who gives up on love, could I? Could I give up on my Self?
"Restore my heart, O God. Bring me back to You Who Art My Very Self. Once and for all, help me to reveal my Self as You know me to be. Give me You once and for all. Thank you, God."
Come, come, now, dear Children. Since when did you live in a dry desert? An oasis exists. Why do you keep begging Me for what I have always given you? I never withheld Love from you. For Heaven's Sakes, why would I do that? If I am God, I am not less.
Get off your knees and onto your feet. Give up all this hung-over Self-doubt.
If you know what you want, what would prevent you from having plenty of what you want? Would you dawdle? Would you play a part that is untrue to your Self? Is this possibly a camouflaged way of trying to get away from your Self? Are you seeking a fraud you perpetuate upon your Self for the sake of what? Despair?
Toss off despair and trade it in for the Sake of Awareness. If you have been riding a horse named Despair, hop on the horse named Awareness.
Where on Earth will you spend what, Beloveds?

God said:
So much sadness for My beloveds. Tears will out. Allergies. Sadness. Grief. Sense of loss. Be good to yourself. Spoil yourself every once in a while.
Remind yourself you are just a traveler passing through Life. Would you like to travel by ship, train, or plane?
Perhaps you answer, all in all, on a train. But maybe, for a long distance, you reconsider -- a boat would be better, but, no, too confining, too entertaining. Yes, you might take the train. You can take all conveyances as you will.
In Our Story, you can switch around. You can even imagine that you are simply taking a walk. In any case, you ponder. Yet Life does not always seem to be a stroll. No, Life in the World is more defined than that.
I would ask you to enjoy your journey through Life in the World. It's like you stand still, and life churns ahead and around you. I would be so happy for you to be happy. You are a rider. You don't get run over on the tracks. You do not drown at sea, nor are there any crashes. You can stay over here and over there, and you can wonder. You can wander as well. There are many kinds of terrain.
You are an explorer. You make discoveries along the way. Sand and snow and all are acceptable. Detours – no problem. You are not the train that chugs. You are a passenger who rides the rails or sails the seas or flies the skies. You do not direct the ride, the voyage, the flight. You are merely along for the ride. You go where your journey takes you.
You do your tour. That's it. You see the sights. Meanwhile, sit back. Enjoy.
I ask you not to trudge or clomp along. Enjoy the journey whatever the conveniences or inconveniences. Have the idea shining through that you travel first class. You are on an adventure, and you will have surprises. No matter what the surprises, you will come shining through.
Come to think of it, if you want to ride your bicycle, that's a fine mode of travel as well. You can ski. You can mountain-climb. You can ride a camel, go by dog-sled. There is nothing you cannot do.
Wherever you are in your travels, the sun sets, and the sun rises. Life is perennial.
Here is the great thing. Wherever you travel, whatever you travel through, I am with you. I meet you, greet you, and We travel arm in arm. This is how We do it. Together. We are never One without the Other. There is no other. We are One. All the imagined folk in the world, All are One.
All the knitted sweaters in the world, so many stitches, yet it is as if there is one sweater – one size fits all. Everyone may take a different journey, yet there is one traveler, and one journey. There is, as it were, one customer, and One Life at a time per customer.
Oneness goes beyond experience. There is travel, and there is that which is beyond travel. And there is no travel at all. There are no borders to cross. There are no passports to stamp. We are all the same, yet there is no precedent. There never were two alike and never any difference. There is One Wholeness, and We share it.
We can say that you are not travelers but sojourners, yet there is no time at all to travel or sojourn. Perhaps you are an observer all along. You don’t have to make something of it – the imagined travel, I mean.
Perhaps that which you call Life is a straight path and not so convoluted as you may think.
There is no baggage. We travel light. We are, in fact, Light traveling. We are a Light Show, the way stars shine on the waters of the Lebanon or on the Dead Sea. There is no difference in anything. Oneness is.
Yet, even so, as My Children, you experience differences of opinions. And you digress. And you set up smoke screens. You pretend indifference. You care, and you don't care. Regardless, you can't get off-track. You are destined to be here, even as there is no place to be. Simple Beingness, you are. So, be.

God said:
Beloved you, you do amazingly well in Life. Is this a new thought -- that you are doing well?
How you feel about yourself makes all the difference in the world. It seems that you may have thought of yourself as faulty, underachieving, falling short when the Truth is that you fill the world with great bouquets of flowers, and, if I may say, Great Love.
It is no longer for you to keep any remnants of guilt. I am speaking to you, whoever hears Me.
Keep moving your Love and Life along. Let go of the past. Think not of fault. Remove the idea that something is the matter. While you are a human being enmeshed in the world, your perception gets compartmentalized. You perceive that something is broken when it is possible that what you are seeing is yourself gaining wings and flying on your own.
This is Life in the World. Bonds are made, and bonds get broken. Dramas are written about the comings and goings of friendships. Some endings -- or rather, worldly perceived endings-- whittle away their hours until you notice, and some friendships never take off, and the demise of friendships is often dramatic and traumatic.
Know that vendettas do not exist. Friendships exist. Life happens. Bonds seem to break down. There is no good or bad except as someone declares. Good and bad are claimed artifices. Life is what it is while it is. This is only Life in the world and not a travesty. Who can say with a warranty what is acceptable in Life and what is not?
Weather wears down exterior paint. No one has the right to condemn Life because of worn paint. You most certainly do not have the right to pass a verdict on yourself or others, nor does anyone else have the right. Life is what it is while it is. Applaud when you can. Stay away from pounding gavels.
No one can carry all the baggage for a lifetime. No one is wonderful to hold onto the past. You live it, and now you leave it, and you move on. When you have digested food, you don’t keep digesting it.
Let the past go. You loved elements of the past once, or you suffered them. This is good enough. No more harboring the past.
Say hello to Every Corner of Life. And when the time comes to say goodbye, say goodbye, and no longer look back over your shoulder and turn into salt.
What are the Lessons of Life? What are the Lessons of Yesterday and Yesteryear? What lessons are to be put to bed?
This is something you find out in Life. You don’t address these at birth. You do not know beforehand when or what lessons will crop up. You may not see them coming. You may not have to learn all of the lessons for yourself. You observe. You can also learn from literature and theater and from others around you.
What is Life about if not learning? You are a collector of learning. You do not, however, sort all your learning and collate it and systematize it. You walk on through the Gates of Learning, and you keep on going. You pass through. You do not gather yourself at the Gates. You keep on going. You merely pass through.
Passing through, you learn more along the way. The concept of learning is not meant to be a surprise. There is much learning to pluck along the way. There are beautiful flowers that you bow down to, and there are thorns that scratch. This is nothing to be astounded at.
No matter how learn-ed you are, you gather new experiences. Life in the World is an experience, you understand. And there are always more experiences of diverse kinds on their way to you. Among them is always Beauty, Beauty leaning over to greet you.
Behold! Life waits right before you!

Dear Human Beings, how you feel and how I feel can bear reconciling.
I see the wonder of you. I see your beauty. It is easy for Me to love you whereas you are vastly critical of yourself. You are hard to please. I see beyond the borders you see.
Come with Me. Let's skip over these cardboard borders you see. I ask you to stop burdening yourself with the hard facts you persist in. Facts are nothing at all. Goodness and mercy matter, not facts. You are strong in fact-finding, distraction-finding, and, yes, disturbance-mongering.
What fault of yours might you specialize in today? What flaw must you point out to yourself today to make you feel down and out? How might you squash your heart today and do a good job of it?
This morning you got up. You paid attention to the clothes you put on. You like the outfit you wear today. You tied your tie well.
Yet you put on unbecoming thoughts today as though this were a daily assignment I give you -- to pull yourself over the coals and disconcert yourself.
I ask you to tell yourself better stories. Send out better messages to yourself and to the world. What kind of vibration are you giving to the Universe today? Dear Ones, consciously start sending out High Vibration Messages. Everyone can use some inspiration today. Everyone, including you.
You are not untrue to yourself when you dress well. It cheers you up. It cheers others up to see you dressed well.
What makes you think you are doing a favor to yourself and the world by shooting yourself in the foot? You are not being false to yourself by taking care of yourself with your thoughts. You are being true to yourself.
No more singing dirges, if you please. Sing a happy tune. You can do it. I know you can do it.
If you are in a slump, get out of it. Be true to yourself.
If you cannot think of yourself, then think of Me. Do it for Me. Get out of dreary thoughts. Emblazon the Horizon of Life for All.
What you say and what you think, you send out all over the world. It is of the utmost importance that you give joy to the world. The world depends upon you. It even depends upon your demeanor.
Be a good soul today, good soul. If you have to wear a smile, wear a smile. When you smile at yourself, you may begin to feel cheerful. You be the first to cheer the world. Do not wait for the world to cheer you. Don’t put the cart before the horse.
Did you really think that the world at large is supposed to start your motor? Do you really believe you are to drive an old-fashioned car whose motor you have to crank up?
When horses were transportation, did you go out every day and say, "Whoa, Horsie," before you said, "Giddyap, Horsie?"
Come to your senses. Set out in the morning with the spirit you want to engage in. Set the tone of your day. Give the world what you want the world to give you.
You are to be the Sun That Rises.
You are to dispense with fault-finding, most especially with yourself.
Offer good will to yourself. Start off on the right foot. Isn't this obvious?
If you have to write a cue card for yourself, make it. Post a sign that you see first thing in the morning:
"It is for me to add joy and harmony to the world today. I welcome this day. I welcome all, including myself. I greet everyone in the world with a smile, including myself. This is the least I do in good grace this day. Thank You, God, for this opportunity to light up the world. Thank You for today. Thank You for me."

You may equate freedom with wherewithal. Oh, yes, there may be times when you feel that the only thing that holds you back is money.
Dear Ones, there is something more than money that holds you back. There is a wealth of something else that could serve you and serve you well. I speak of the sense of well-being that you seek, confidence in yourself that you seek, and confidence in Life and Me as well.
It is always more than wealth that you desire. There is more to ask of yourself. Money may be a means to an end, yet there is only so far that money can go.
There is something of yourself that you want to expand. Lack of money can be an excuse for your not being independent. Money may seem like a quick solution, yet there is more to independence and freedom than meets the eye. There are deeper qualities you seek.
You do know that you are seeking something. If you could know the name of it, then maybe you could better pursue it. You seek for more that seems to be stuck within you.
Peace? Sure, yet more than peace. Equanimity? Sure, yet something more than equanimity. Confidence? Certainly, yet there is more to the story than that. Luck? How you would welcome good luck.
Begin to know right now that you are the good luck that you seek. That you seek independence is your good fortune. No longer do you want to weigh down anyone else. You want to be free and allow others to be free.
No one wants to feel like a burden. You might indeed like to be taken care of, yet you would not want anyone to want to kick you aside. To be unwanted is a terrible thought. To be unwanted may be the worst thing you can think of.
If only someone would feel honored to be responsible for you, then you could breathe and feel loved. How your heart aches for love to be counted on. Your fear of rejection is greater than you knew.
Your fear of rejecting others runs a race with your fear of being rejected. Which will come true first, you wonder. You don't know if you will ever truly realize that which is called love in the world.
From where does your help come? I am advertised for this, and this is ultimately so. And yet help also comes from within you.
Now you face what you suspect to be true. You look it in the eye. Your awareness of lack of love in your very heart is a big step forward.
Yes, you would love to be loved more, and you would also very much love to love more. Now you are more aware of the distance from your heart to other hearts. What you don’t know is how to cover the distance.
You are unable to manage your own love. With all the money in the world, you are unable to buy the deterred love in your own heart to give away. With more love in your own heart for yourself, then you could give forth more love to others without asking for repayment. You would like to love. You would like to know the cure for the sullied love that is more than you can bear.
You do not know that you will ever feel love in abundance in your heart that feels all dried up. You may feel that your love never had a chance. What you hoped was love never panned out. What you hoped was love turned into acrimony.
Where did bitterness come from? What soured you? How do you get from here to somewhere else? How do you get from bitterness back to love? How?
How do you engender more love in your own heart? This is the question of questions.

It is joy for me to give you a Heavenletter. Enjoy it. I could give you Heavenletters all day and never run out! Infinite are the Words I give you. They are blessings to you. Blessed, blessed, are you.
I am an Enchanter, so to speak.
I put you under a spell, so to speak.
I put you in a groove. I extend you. You are extended. You sink into My vibration. You catch on to Me. We go places together. How happy We are as We concur on Life. We are a Parade of One.
We reach far over hill and dale.
We pull Our shoulders back.
We walk together, and We are honest. We read the same page. We fly away together which is the same as to say that We consult together. I add a new page to your repertoire.
We are on the same page. We concur.
It is no big deal, Our concurrence.
We prance over the page.
We pledge Our Troth.
We congregate in My Heart.
We have always walked arm in arm. We love to meet. We meet constantly. It is Our joy to meet. Really, what else do We want to do but this, this meeting of Our Hearts? This is Our joy. Our eyes meet. Our hearts touch. We spin in joy. There is nothing like Our Oneness and the joy of it.
We get straight down to it. We get to the Heart of the Matter.
We do not sequester Ours Hearts somewhere. We, every One of Us as One --We share in this Great Adventure We travel on. We get to the point now. We get right down to it.
We are well-met, you and I.
What a One We are! What else would We ever want to be but One?
We share a Divine Oneness. There is nothing else like it. This is the Culmination of Our Presence. We are One undivided Being. To Our One Self, We are true. This is IT. Oneness is Our Priority. Oneness Is. We are always down to the Oneness of Love. This is Our Reason for Being.
Even as We play, we get right to the point. Even as time does not exist, We don't waste it. We get on with it. We are right on the mark.
We are not a sorority. We are One undivided Oneness. We are not problematical. We don't even solve problems. In Oneness, there is nothing to solve. There is nothing to fix. There is nothing to resolve. There is nothing to make better. There is nothing less. We have Everything. We are Everything.
There is no offshore. There is no on the beach. There is nothing but Oneness. Oneness calls to Us. We take delight in Oneness. This is the Truth. This is all there is, ever was, ever can be. This is wealth. This is how it is, Our Oneness forever.
There is no adding. There is no subtracting. There is no plus. Nor is there a minus. What is there missing that We must add to? Nothing. Nothing at all.
We are perennially One. There is nothing more. There is nothing less. This is the Relationship that We hold dear. There is nothing greater to hold dear than Our Oneness, this inevitable Infinity of One, this Singular Beauty of One We hold Each Other in, Auspicious in Our Light. We are the Light That Is.
No thing really matters. Matter is only matter. What matters are hearts. And souls matter. All is nothing but Our Oneness of Beauty.

When, instead of feeling lightness in your heart, you feel heaviness, here is what to do:
Just be with Me. You are not under obligation to Me. Our relationship doesn't have to be about what you do for Me. With effort or without, you serve. He who smiles serves.
Know that you are devoted. All you have to do is to be. I excuse you from effort. I excuse everyone from effort. Effort is not what loving Me takes. It takes joy. You merit joy. Be joyful. This is what I truly want from you. My Will is for you to feel joy in life. Your assignment is joy and lightheartedness. Joy from you onto the world. Turn on the switch in your heart that sings. Come, I sing with you, Our Voices entwine.
Joy, Joy to you, Joy to God. Joy to the world. Let's add bubbles to your joy. Forever blow bubbles of joy. Good, now you are smiling. If you are not feeling joy, smile first, and joy will come. Now I kiss your forehead, giving you peace. Peace and joy are companions. Be in peace, My beloved sons and daughters.
You are not to do penance. This is not in your best interest nor is it in Mine. Joy is in our best interest. You are not in debt to Me. You do not have a debt to pay off. If you owe Me anything, it is your joy. Your joy is what I ask for.
By this you know I don't mean you have to be frivolous or the life-of-the-party. There are many kinds of joy. Find your joy. Be joyful. Allow yourself a whopping-big heart. No more crimping your heart with overwhelming seriousness.
Let your life on Earth be splendid.
Let go of solemn-ness. There may have been an overdeveloped propensity for clomping along rather than dancing.
Consider that life is meant to be a Grand Ball you give your attention to, and you love to dance. In your mind, imagine your dancing. You are light of foot which is the same as to say that you are enjoying.
Your enjoyment of life on Earth is a great gift to Me. This is what I want from you. No sacrifice. Phooey on sacrifice. I did not give you life so that you would sacrifice it. There is nothing sacred about sacrificing. Oh, no, no martyrdom for My children. Martyrdom is not joy. It gives Me no joy to see you accepting suffering. Absolutely not.
If someone runs in front of a car in order to save the Life of a Child, this is what the person wants to do. There is no thought necessary. There is no decision to make. A decision is not dwelled on. A split-second decision is made. It is possible that the decision was made before you came to Earth. It doesn't matter when or why. The decision was made, and the decision was swift.
I want to say that there was no contest. Actually, there was no decision to be made. This was life lived on the hoof, so to speak. If there had been a choice, the choice was joy. There was no gap of thought. There was no thought such as: "I am sacrificing." Time did not exist. Death did not exist. In these moments, time is off the monitor. Everything is off the monitor except Love.
Now, I am not intimating that you are to go out and save a child from being hit by a car. I am suggesting that you be One with Life.
Love oils the Gears of Life. Be supple in life. You love and live life. Your Life is for you, yet at the same time, your life is not sacrifice nor is your life for you alone. The idea that this life belongs solely to you is true, yet true only in the sense that you are responsible for it.
Let’s not sacrifice, and let’s not live selfishness either. Life on Earth is a partnership. The Three Musketeers had it right. All for One, and One for All. This is joy.

I hear your plaint. You feel absent from the party:
"Beloved God, I would love to be a Vaster, more giving and forgiving person than I am. I find fault. Finding fault takes me no effort at all. To be pleased with people as they are is not easy for me. To be pleased with myself is not easy either, yet You love us all.
"God, I believe You would say that everyone today, in this moment of speculated time, is being and doing the best he or she can be.
"God, I am positive I am not the best I can be. I would love to laugh more. I would love to be less serious about Life. I seem to see Life every day as the Be-All and End-All of Life. Life seems to be urgent and does a number on me. It is like, if it were not for Life, I could be happy. My attitude leaves a lot to be desired.
"Most of the time I am down in the mouth. Help me to be good-natured. I am tired of being a critic.
"Yet, there was a time when I was thrilled with Life. I was eager to get up every morning. Would that this could have lasted. I am not speaking of when I was a child and ran up and down stairs. Even as a child, I remember that life was not a cinch for me. It was later that life became joy, and I welcomed life with all my heart. I used to think: ‘What happiness is on its way to me now?’
"I was eager to see what a day would bring when I could hardly wait for it. Tell me, God, what happened to my joy? Where did it go?
"For a time, I seemed to be realized. I mean, Self-Realized, God. I knew joy and only joy. Where did my joy go? Bring it back. Re-send such joy upon us all now. I know that the Sun still rises every day. Is it I who is absent? Tell Me, God, how do I get my own joy back?"
Dear Children with aching hearts, joy is effortless. Joy does not come from insistence. Joy, Joy, extended joy, simply arises before you. Joy comes on its own, or it is not joy.
Joy resounds within you. It just arises. Joy within you sings its song.
It could be said that your happiness was a particular configuration of the stars. For a while, life was a picnic. You had a perpetual effortless joy. We can say fairly that you arose to the occasion of joy. We can say that you waxed rosy with joy. You had no bone to pick with Life. Your heart was flush with joy.
For that wonderful time, you were more than appreciative. For a while, you were 100 per cent in Love with Life.
For that wonderful passage of time, you lived Life. You loved it. Yes, love rose to the occasion, and so did you.
Let go even of having to have this joy. It is one thing to anticipate Life and another to pout at Love’s seeming absence. Gaze forward. Be joy, beloveds.
Like Mary's Little Lamb whose fleece was white as snow, joy will come Home again wagging his tail behind him.
Mary had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow,
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school one day,
Which was against the rule,
It made the children laugh and play
To see a lamb at school.
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near,
And waited patiently about,
Till Mary did appear.
"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry.
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,"
The teacher did reply.

God said:
You love, and you squabble with those you love. Love becomes acrimony. Love becomes acidic. Love is covered up with fussing and fuming. Love has been wasted.
Declare peace. Move on. Get past the smallness. Return to Greatness.
You love, and then you undo it as if love were a spool, and you unwind it idly, as if the unwinding of love were more important than the Presence of Love. How many times have you undermined the love in your heart? It is like you protest love. How many ways and how many times can one human being shove love away and turn it into annoyance, frustration, and refusal to love?
Why practice negativity in the Field of Love? Why turn Light into darkness?
You may say you can't help it.
Be humble and value love. Acknowledge love. Acknowledge the Love in your heart.
Don't think of your love as skinny. Fatten up your love. Uplight love and not dissension.
Oneness exists. Must you nag at love and thwart it?
How many times are you to strike out at love? You tell yourself that Love can be lasting and that you don’t have to heckle at your love, yet, bewildered, you ask yourself how many interludes of love can you spoil in one lifetime?
You tell yourself, if you must separate from love, then separate amicably. What good can love that turns into dust be?
You used to think that you had all the time in the world when love right now was your occasion to love. Love did not have to be torn into shreds, yet it was.
What smallness is it that would cancel love?
You and a loved one once kissed hello, and now you agonize in disavowal of love you once held, or did you hold it? Deep in your heart, you wonder if you ever loved. Was what you thought was love only dissembling?
Love cannot be futile. How can what seemed beautiful not stay beautiful?
You have an issue with love. You want it and don't want it at the same time. You want to be in love, yet you may not want to be consigned to love, as if love undone is more romantic and powerful.
You look around and you see that some people stay true to love. Is this by chance, or what do other people know that you don't?
You may give lip service to love, yet you may not feel freedom in love. You see shackles that bind. You argue with yourself a lot. It is always yourself that you argue with.
Okay, were you pretending the love to yourself, or are you pretending the dissension? When did you sell yourself a bill of goods? Previously the sun seemed to shine. Now you flounder in troubled waters.
I do understand that to you it never seemed you had a chance. You loved while you did, and then the sun set. The sun set too early.
Can love that turns sour ever have been true? Perhaps you only knew how to kid yourself. You would love for there to be some great meaning even in your flailing around.
You would always be in love if you knew how. Perhaps the best you can do is to have moments of love. Otherwise, you have failed at love, and you feel this deeply.
It is as if something in you wanted to get away from love. You may have greater belief in a short run of love than in love everlasting.
Sometimes you wonder if love is a matter of luck, and your luck just wasn't good enough.
You don't want to fake lasting love. You don't know how, and you don't want to.
You worry that you are missing a love gene, as it were. You may come to the conclusion that you never loved. You never knew how. You sought love and couldn't manage it. You see now that you were doomed from the start. Love was just not for you.
Might you have spared yourself and others pain if you had only known this ahead of time, or not? You had never even speculated that you were not only loveless yet also incapable of True Love as it is known in the world. You wish you had known long-lasting love. You wish love had stayed and not come and gone.

God said:
If you can use upliftment today, find some.
If you cannot think of something new to inspire you, think of something that inspired you in the past, and, meanwhile, stay open to something new. What books have inspired you? What movies have uplifted you? What people have believed in you?
Ah, you may fear they won't inspire you now. It is possible that what inspired you once, will pull its blinds down now.
If you haven't been looking for inspiration, what have you been looking for?
There is inspiration for you to find. Get it.
If you can use a lift, rise to it. Walk right up to Life and say: "Inspire me. Inspire me right now." Ask Life to throw inspiration at you. Ask Me to raise your spirits.
What are you doing with your days when your heart lags? Don't just sit there and bemoan how you feel. Get off the couch.
Going out in nature is always good. In any case, look for inspiration, and it will pop up. Be open for it. For inspiration, by all means, say, "Gimme, gimme." Attract it by keeping your eyes open.
See whom you can inspire. Give an inspiring word. Give that which you seek. Not false cheer, you understand, yet hold up your shoulders.
Remember that you bask under the Sun.
Be the Sun. At the least, reflect the Sun.
The world has enough clouds imposed on it. Be sunny, not gray.
Turn the world. Vibrate it. Enter Life. Go in by the front gate. You are here ultimately for more than yourself. You are here for engagement with Me and with all your brothers and sisters. You are here to give. So give.
Often giving appears in the form of receiving. By receiving, you allow another to give. Receiving is a form of giving. There is more than one way to give.
Be generous to yourself. Give yourself peace, and you multiply peace in the world. Give others peace, and you surround yourself with peace. Why not surround yourself with peace?
What have you been surrounding yourself with? Turmoil? Hmm, that is easy to do. It takes no effort at all. Everyone knows how to roil. This is easy, too easy.
Whatever you are good at is easy. When you know something, it is easy. Find ease. Ease is peaceful. Ease is a piece of cake.
And, yet, even so, you, My beloveds, are often ill at ease, ill at ease with yourself. You may know that you are presently off-base. You are out of character. You may be aware that you are not all true to yourself. True is beautiful.
The Truth of you is beautiful. You are beautiful if you only knew.
You are not this rapscallion you may believe yourself to be. You are misinformed. Inform yourself now.
Celebrate yourself. It is time to celebrate yourself.
A celebration does not have to be a wild party. Celebrate the way you would like to. What way would you like to? What kind of party would you like to give? This may require some thought on your part. You may have been out of the vein of celebrating.
Celebrate yourself. Celebrate Life. Celebrate Me in your heart. Take Me with you. Whatever Life holds for you, take Me with you.
Regardless of anything, I am with you. I accompany you. You go nowhere without Me.
I am your Creator. I am the Founder of you. I pulled you from My Heart. I held you out to the world, and I introduced you: "Here you are for the betterment of the world," I said.
Rise to your heights. The joke is on you. All this time you may have felt out of sorts. Now you find out that you are to not only rise to your heights, you are to inspire the world. It is not the world that is to carry you. You may have had this backwards.
What else is there for you to do but inspire? Rise to the occasion. What else is there for you to be but the Light of the World?

Beloveds, those of you who feel discontent, let Me ask you what wonders have I not performed? What wonders are there that I cannot perform? Perform is not the right word. I am not a performing artist. I am certainly not a trained seal who must do your bidding, yet you are asked to have Trust in Me.
You wonder what trust in Me means. It does not seem to mean I give you everything and anything you want. You know you play a part in success, yet sometimes you are at a loss, and sometimes you despair. What is it you are missing? Is Faith more long-ranged than Trust?
What is there that I cannot do? What cannot I give? Now We come to what seems to be the rub. What does it really mean that I am here for you?
You see that My Will may not be in line with yours. There is a from your side. We are not exactly at odds yet somehow not exactly in line. Oh, woe, from your side, for too often you do not see why even half your desires do not seem to be fulfilled as yet.
You often ask yourself why someone quite like you has wealth while you struggle? Someone seems to have love without end while you seem to be stranded on a deserted island called Earth. Why?
Why are some people so talented? Why do you seem to be lacking, if not in ability, then in drive and ambition? You wonder, after all, what exactly your difficulty is.
Why are some people so smart and up to the minute whereas you too often seem to be the last to know and left out of an inner circle?
For many, their ways are clear, and here you are in a muddle. Once in a while, you seem to almost get a whiff of success only to discover that a miss is as good as a mile.
You do already understand the point of looking at what has come to you. Yes, you do, yet it is troubling for you to have life, to be glad for it, and also to feel that somehow you are missing the mark even as you don't quite grasp what your mark is.
You are grateful for all your blessings, yet you do know there are people in this world more grateful than you. Does the fact that there are others more grateful than you mean that they are more aware and you are less aware? Are you somehow just a bumbler in life?
Something is amiss. You can't quite put your finger on it. If it is not life that is amiss, then you are weary of thinking that you are amiss.
A very old lady, let’s say, without the ability to speak or walk, may have been in a hospital bed for a long time. When her adult children come to visit, her eyes light up to see them. That much you can tell. You wonder at her appreciation while you who have the freedom to speak all you want and to run with the wind - why you may be displeased with your life.
This woman is wondrous in her gratitude. You certainly don't wish to be this old woman, yet you do wish you could be on the grateful side the way she is.
You see her courage and dedication while you grieve at the sorrow and discontent that you feel, and, alas, the grievances you carry.
You wish that sunshine and fresh air were enough for you. You wish that you were more content with the few friends you have rather than bemoaning the friends you don't have.
You wonder what the cure is for you anyway. You wonder how to turn ingratitude into gratitude, discontent into content, forlornness into love. There is so much you would like to change if only you knew how. You are close, so close.
Beloveds, try this: Know how grateful I am for you.

God said:
Abolish fear. Abolish fear from the Face of the Earth.
Oh, to think what Life would be like without fear. How free you will be. How good you will feel. You will breathe. You will dance on Earth. You will spin and whirl. Look at you dance! This is freedom. You have been seeking freedom even as you may have looked away from it. You may even have looked askance at freedom.
Freedom means that you will dance. Even if you have never been able to dance before, you will dance now. You will revel in freedom. You will sing, too.
What a boon freedom is. Freedom is your Open, Sesame. It is the key to your life. Life not in freedom is a life of subjugation. Give yourself the freedom of a Life of Service.
In fear, you are for the taking. Fright makes greed. Greed is not freedom. Greed restricts you. Greed does not behoove you. One common fear is thinking there is not enough to go around. Greed is fear. Scarcity is fear. Unhappiness is fear.
Freedom is rare. Yes, the world could enshroud you in fear and keep you bound to world thought. Laws may restrict rather than free, and you can get caught in a maelstrom of conformity. What a balancing act.
How do you give tribute to what is the norm expected of you and still be free? You don't want to break laws. You are not intending to be a rebel. A rebel bounces off another's way of life instead of his own.
No one wants to be shackled. Everyone wants his own way of thinking. Those who would subject you to their way are not free. The one who chains another is not free. Sometimes the only freedom you are certain of is the onerous freedom to suffer.
What's with that? When you suffer, it is like there is something you are not expressing even to yourself.
You are not to be cut to size. If you wear a size 10 shoe, it is painful to wear a smaller size.
Perhaps you would like to go barefoot. How you would love to live in an unleashed world. To run on bare grass would be wonderful. To wear moccasins would be great, too. O to run free.
To love others doesn't mean you have to abide by others’ thinking, yet, of course, it is also for you to allow others to be free. You are not meant to be the only one.
You don't want to infringe on others, yet you hanker to be free. You don't want to be in a bind.
Do you sometimes wonder whether you want freedom and all the responsibility that freedom implies? In some weird way, do the chains that bind also free? Hmm, you may shrug your shoulders. Certainly, you know that ravage and war are not freeing. War is the most unfree thing you know. War hurts everyone, winner and loser alike. Life in a body, yours and others, anyone’s -- is too precious to cut short just like that. It is a waste.
Warden and prisoner alike are enchained. Neither is free in terms of the world.
What is this about freedom being your inalienable right?
In Truth, beloveds, freedom exists in love. You are free to rise above all kinds of impediments. The greatest freedom is to love. Love frees you. You are responsible to love. Love yourself, and you are free. Love others, and you free them from being bound to your thoughts. Love is freeing if you but knew the essence of giving love freely.
You are finding out now how to love. Free yourself to love yourself, and then you will love all others, and all others will follow you in Vast Love.
You are Being. You are Free to Love and to Sing Songs of Love. Be Love. Herald Love. Love. Love Now. Love Beyond Measure.

God said:
It is Life you are embarking on. New life is assured. Old life is over. Yesterday never was. Today is here, and this is everyone's New Day. Today is opening up itself to you right this minute and from now on.
Think of what a new day means. Every day you have a fresh start. You start afresh. Life is new today, and you are new. You have never had this day before. No reason for you to be blasé. If you want change, this is your day to allow change. Change is at your disposal. A Life of Change is before you. A Life of Chance is before you.
All it takes for change in your life to happen is for you to be open to change. Let go of prevention. Sit up. Off We go.
Today has something to tell you that no day has said to you before.
This is what a new day means, for no day is a rerun. Each day is unique. If you think otherwise, you are mistaken.
I cannot emphasize enough your openness to change. Change is not for you to censor. Change is what it is. The change for you today does not have to meet with your approval. If you have to send today to you as registered mail, you forestall change. Preventing change is fear. Fear is a known. Change is as yet the Unknown.
Be not afraid of change. You are a recipient. Be off to a good start. Look forward to today for a change. Step right up before the sun sets.
Naturally, you like some changes better than others. The more open to change you are, the more inviting the change that enters your Life will be.
It is very possible that you have been obtuse to change. Why? Because as much as you would welcome change, you want the assurance of control. You know, dear ones, you don't really want to be left to what you think of as your own devices. Sometimes your ideas run thin. Being shaken up, no matter how much you fear it, may be just the jolt your weary system requires. Have you been too tired for adventure?
There is no staying still. Staying still is abiding by boundaries. Unbind yourself. You have the freedom to dare to be. Being is not revolutionary. In your Life on Earth, you may well have been assuming more than Being. Being isn't radical. Being is taking a breath, and you realize, "Ah, yes."
It's possible you may have been running away from Boredom by hiding yourself rather than Being. You may well have been hiding from you. It is as if you have a fear of Being the Truth of Who You Really Are. You may well have run away from the Unity of Us, your very heart's desire.
You know, it is not bullets that you dodge. It is the Love of God and all the Love in Your Heart, as if that would be an unheard of discovery, as if you were not made for this very moment that you put on hold without even looking at it. You may be on Automatic when it comes to Running Away from Life.
You may think that the Life of a Sailor is not for you. For whom is life if not for you? A sailor sails on the seas. He has his sea legs. A sailor does not sail in a marsh when his or her destiny is on the High Seas.
The High Seas are clearly not dry land. The High Seas are buoyant. On the High Seas, you cannot be certain what you will find. If you want discovery, the High Seas are for you.
You can't hide on the High Seas. You cannot pretend that you are not a seaman. You cannot stay smoking your pipe by the fireplace in the house where you were born and be a seaman. You were born to Adventure which means you were born for new Horizons.
No one said that life – your Life – is to stay the same as it always was -- or as your Life seemed on the surface, that is. The Life of a Sailor is the Life for You, My Hearties.

Consider that Life is supposed to surprise you. It is natural for Life to surprise you. Expect that Life will give you one surprise after another. Be glad for surprises. There are all kinds of surprises. You love the surprises you love, and you are run over by the surprises that you take as unremitting.
Life is not being radical with you ever. Certainly, you feel that Life is being loving, or Life is being annoying or even downright hostile. You stipulate to Life a range of experiences that you view as allowable and a range of experiences that you view as unacceptable.
Life does not choose to offend you. Life is as Life comes. There are experiences that may befall you that you would remove from the Face of Earth. You would like to think that, if you had the say, Life would be less erratic and far more kindly than you see Life.
You rebuke Life for what you see as offenses to mankind.
Take what is called death. Of course, death has been misnamed. There is no such thing.
You start off with false premises, and you are, dear ones, high and mighty about what you see, as if Life is being high-handed and has no right to be as it is. Life has every right. You have a range to grow, and grow you will.
Despite the way you see Life, with all compassion for you, it is for you to interpret Life differently. I assign you to look at Life Itself more compassionately.
There are no rules for Life that say you must have what you like. Life is apportioned as it is apportioned.
Beloveds, you are learning to never be down at the punch. You are learning to rebound.
You are subjective, so you object to Life. Life is just doing what Life does. In every case when Life seems to strike you a blow, you’ve got to know that Life is Life. Despite what Life may seem to you at a given moment, Life never does pick on you or single you out. Don’t let yourself be held back by Life.
It may seem that Life is strong-arming you, yet this is not how it is. This is how you see it. Life doesn't single you out to infringe upon you. Life is calling on you to move forward. You find the measures harsh and unacceptable. You say that Life is radical and unfair, and you refuse to undergo that which you cannot change.
What you can change is to see with a longer view. You are not to be so radical, Beloveds Ones. You were not born to have grievances. You were not born to hold grudges against anyone or any experiences that may come your way in Life.
Listen to this: You were not born to suffer.
It may seem to you that you have no choice. You have not known how to accept all that befalls in Life without an outcry.
Life, as you want it, is not obliged to suit you.
You are obliged to make peace with Life. Life is not a marauder. Life does not set out to do you harm. Life has far greater Vision than yours. Life has a far greater range of outlook than you. It is not in your best interest to choose to be short-sighted. Life is not a question of either/or.
It is not for you to shoot Life down. Weep your tears, and get on with Life. When Life asks a lot of you, give. When Life seems to burden you, let go of the concept of burden. Life has its idiosyncrasies, yet, one way or another, with Life at your side, you grow.
Look kindly at Life. Bestow your grace upon Life.

God said:
No matter what befalls, you choose the part you play. Everyone chooses his or her role.
The title of drama queen gets passed down generation after generation. The title arises from somewhere. And then it leaves, and another chapter takes over. Let the next chapter unfold.
Part of being a drama queen is the belief that this well-known role is foisted upon you, that you somehow, willy-nilly, have no choice.
You are not obliged to appropriate this role even as you may believe you were cast in it. An event occurs. An event, no matter how dramatic, isn’t yours to ignite and stay in. This isn't to say that drama doesn't happen and befall you. It may be that you are thrust into the drama, yet how you play your part is up to you.
How much do you emote? What fillips to the role do you add? To what extreme, and for how long do you cast yourself into this role?
No one is saying that untoward events don't fall upon you. Whatever untoward events reach you, you are the auto-responder. You send out, as it were, an autoimmune response. Of course, what occurs affects you. To what lengths do you carry on? For how long, and to what degree do you bewail what has occurred?
Beloveds, if the worst thing has occurred, it has occurred. You have already experienced deep drama more than once.
If you come to only one conclusion, you may run dramatically all the way off the page.
Do not think for one moment that I am suggesting that you be stoic. It is not for you to pretend that you are not heart-broken when you are. Cry your honest heart out if you have to.
We are talking about added drama. Does drama reduce your suffering? And when do you get back to your life as life is to be lived? When do you reduce your term of sentence and give yourself a furlough from grief? For how long do you reflect widow's weeds on your face, and for how long and how well do you grieve?
Dear Ones, how well I know your grieving, yet grieving is a hot potato not to be held onto. No matter how deep and undeserved your grief may be, you don't have to play the role of griever so well. Playing it well may amount to your playing it to the hilt. Make it sooner rather than later that you return to the Joys of Life. Have a comeback. You are not an actress on the screen. You don't have to get an Academy Award.
Beloveds, there is more than one role you can play and play well. You can change costumes. One who mourns so well as you can also smile. Perhaps you can even think about something else besides the foul deed that befell. It is perfectly okay to give your shock and mourning a short run, dear ones. It is not for you to be lifelong loyal to grieving. Your grief is not a movie to be held over.
And you are not a performer in a stage play. You do not look to be a star. In your heartache, certainly it feels to you that no one ever suffered as you. You are one in a cast of thousands. It’s okay to play a bit part.
Then find another role to step into. Return to the little pleasures of life. You are not to major in tragedy. You can get up from grief. You can return to life even as your heart aches. You can go on about your life. You can pick flowers.
Grieve your grief, and then get up from the shallows of the world. Little by little, you can tell a different story. Little by little, you can restore yourself. You do not weep forever. Not even the greatest mourners weep forever. Your role in life is to discover new roles. You can't stay in an old role. Expand the roles you play. You were once a weeper inconsolable. Now you can be an enjoyer of little things again.
Hearts do mend, and this is a good thing. Be glad your heart mends. You have a new role in life now. See what it is. Welcome.
