Tradition or Truth
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Many a man who does not fear GOD wraps himself in a Prayer Shawl." [-Abraham ibn Esra] Everything is a choice.
TRADITION OR TRUTH
"This shall be to you a Law forever for all time:  In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, Tishri, you shall practice self-denial; and you shall do no manner of work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you.  For on this day atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you of all your sins; you shall be clean before the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 16. 29 - 30 Tanakh, Torah]
The "Days of Awe (Yamim Nora’im)" refers to the ten days between Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets/Rosh ha’Shanah) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) which can alter the sentence of one’s fate if a person repents of his sin, makes restitution, and returns to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Thus, the goal of Yamim Nora’im is to return (teshuvah) to the BLESSED ONE with their whole heart, soul and might.  This results in DIVINE forgiveness and at-one-ment with GOD which is only possible through MESSIAH'S forgiveness, extended to all those who embrace HIS "once-for-all" sacrifice for our sin.
Among the many preparations for the awesome day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and perhaps one of the most important, is the seeking of forgiveness from friends, relatives and acquaintances — for actual wrongs done or to soothe bad feelings that may have arisen during the year.  This is one aspect of our behavior that cannot be forgiven by the ALMIGHTY unless forgiveness is first sought from those we have wronged.  Another custom practiced on the eve of Yom Kippur is to bathe (mikvah) so we become pure in preparation for services and prayer.
"I have forgiven" are the eternal words spoken by the FAITHFUL, TRUE & LIVING GOD on the tenth of the month of Tishri, after Moses prayed and fasted for forty days on behalf of the Jewish people.  This day became Yom ha'Kippurim, the Day of Atonement, for all generations.  Any time a Jew (or Gentile) sincerely repents, he is forgiven.  But, this day has a special meaning because of the forgiveness granted to the Jews on this day.
Yom Kippur and all the laws pertaining to it started before sunset, as do all the holidays, with candle-lighting by the women of the house.  A Yahrzeit (24-hour) Candle is also lit in the house in honor of the holiday, as it is a day of fasting and we cannot honor it with a special festive meal.  The light also reminds us of the Second Tablets that were given to the Jewish people on this day, for light symbolizes the TORAH.
On Yom Kippur, no work (melachos) may be done and it is referred to as Shabbos Shabbason — a total rest day just like Sabbath.  In fact, the doubled wording teaches us that even if Yom Kippur comes out on Sabbath, the laws of Yom Kippur are observed on that day and are not postponed, unlike other fast days when they occur on Shabbos.
On Yom Kippur, five activities are specifically prohibited:  Eating and drinking, anointing oneself with perfumes or oils, and washing (for pleasure), wearing leather shoes, and marital relations.  Men go to the Synagogue (Shul) wearing white garments called kittels — and women often dress in light colors or white, which symbolizes purity.
The evening service begins with the chanting of Kol Nidrei (all vows) which is intended to nullify in advance all vows and promises which Jews have been forced to make, or have made hastily in emergencies of sorrow or passion.  During each main prayer, we say the "Viduy (confession - "we have sinned!")" — beating the heart with the right hand at each phrase as we enumerate all the sins we may have committed and ask GOD OF HOSTS, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL for forgiveness.  The Viduy is phrased in the plural ("we have sinned!"), for all Jews and Gentiles are considered — one body — and we are all responsible for one another.
One of the unique prayers of Yom Kippur is the Avodah section in the Musaf Prayer, which describes in detail the great and awesome service performed on Yom Kippur by the Priests in the Holy Temple.  This service was highlighted by the entry of the High Priest into the Holy of Holies, the place where the original tablets of the Ten Commandments were kept in the Ark of the Covenant.  Only on this one day a year, and only after much preparation, was the High Priest alone allowed to enter.  Described are his preparations, the service, and the exciting conclusion — when the Jewish people knew they were granted forgiveness. [Leviticus/Vayikra 16]
In these present times, Jews everywhere feel that by fasting and repenting for twenty-four hours in obedience to GOD'S righteous commandment, they are forgiven of all their iniquities and their names are written in the BOOK OF LIFE.  Although they no longer have a Temple, nor a high priest, and no sacrifice, they are so convinced of the need of an atonement, that rather than confess that they have absolutely none, they teach that repentance and the day itself will atone for all sin. [Hilchoth T'shuvah c.i 2]  But, the LORD GOD stressed,  "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making AN ATONEMENT for your lives upon the altar; it is the BLOOD, as life, that makes expiation for the soul." [Leviticus/Vayikra 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]  For this reason, blood must be shed.
As believers in the LORD Y’SHUA, we know that we have a GREATER HIGH PRIEST and HIS precious blood has been shed for sinners.  Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is our KIPPUR (Covering, Atonement).  HE is the only means of salvation for both Jew or Gentile and forgiveness is an eternal gift.  "Seeing then that we have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST who has passed through the heavens, JESUS, the SON OF GOD, let us hold fast our confession.  For we do not have a HIGH PRIEST WHO cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." [Hebrews 4. 14 - 16]  "For such a HIGH PRIEST was fitting for us, WHO is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; WHO does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for HIS OWN sins and then for the people's, for this HE did ONCE FOR ALL when HE offered up HIMSELF." [Hebrews 7. 26 - 27]  HalleluYAH! Our GREATER HIGH PRIEST, Y’SHUA, has done it all . . . the price is paid in full; and we, who believe, are bought back by HIS perfect atonement.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Diligently obey the VOICE of the LORD your GOD to observe carefully all HIS commandments.” Deuteronomy 28:1
The day after Rosh ha’Shanah marks the Fast of Gedaliah (Tzom Gedaliah – governor of Judea; 2 Kings 25:25), one of the “minor fast days” in the Jewish calendar year.  The fast begins early this morning at dawn and ends in the evening at dusk.
The meaning of the fast:  After the destruction of the First Temple, some 2,560+ years ago, the majority of the Jewish people were exiled to Babylon.  The conqueror, Nebuchadnezzar eventually eased some of his harsh restrictions and allowed some Jews to remain in the Land of Israel.  He even appointed a righteous Jew named Gedaliah to administer the territory.  Gradually more Jews who had escaped from the horrors of the war into neighboring countries began to return to their homes in Israel, the Promised Land.
Gedaliah was realistic about the limitations of Jewish sovereignty, he understood that for their own self-preservation the Jews in Israel needed to cooperate fully with the nation who had conquered their land.  However, this political subservience was intolerable to some Jews and a man named Yishmael benNetaniah, spurred on by jealousy from foreign influences arose and ignored the King of Babylon.  On the 3rd of Tishrei, Yishmael treacherously killed Gedaliah along with many other Jews and Babylonians.
After the murder of Gedaliah, the Jews feared reprisal from the King of Babylon and thought to flee to Egypt to save themselves.  Since Egypt was a morally corrupt society, the Jews were in a quandary – weighing the physical threat against the spiritual danger.  So, they turned to the Prophet Jeremiah who was secluded in mourning to ask for advice.
For an entire week, Jeremiah pleaded with GOD for an answer.  Finally, on Yom Kippur, he was answered. Jeremiah called the Jews and told them to stay in Israel and everything would be fine.  GOD was planning to make the Babylonians act mercifully toward the Jews, and before long, all the exiled Jews would be permitted to return to their own soil.  But, Jeremiah told them, if the Jews decided to go to Egypt, the sword from which they were running would kill them there.
Unfortunately, the prophet's words did not penetrate, and the people refused to believe.  All the Jews remaining in Israel packed their bags and went down to Egypt.  They even kidnapped Jeremiah and took him with them!  Now the destruction was complete; the Land of Israel was completely barren.
A few years later, as you may have guessed, Babylon conquered Egypt and tens of thousands of Jewish exiles were completely wiped out.  The lone survivor of this massacre was Jeremiah — his prophecy had become painfully true. [see Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 40 – 41; 2 Kings/Melakhim Bet 25:25–26]
Days of Awe – Day 33 of Repentance (Yom ha’Peduth/Teshuvah)
“Gmar Chatima Tova”  May you have a good sealing
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her! Join in her jubilation, all you who mourned over her — that you may suck from her breast consolation to the full, that you may draw from her bosom glory to your delight." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 66:10–11 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

ROSH HA’SHANAH PRAYER
Our prayer for you and your family on this Feast Day of Yom Teruah/Roshha’Shanah is that ALMIGHTY GOD, blessed be HE and blessed be HIS NAME, will make the coming days of this year, 5781, happy ones...
...Not by shielding us from all sorrow and pain, but by strengthening us to bear it if and when it comes.
...Not by making our path easy, but in making us strong enough to tread any path.
Not by granting unbroken sunshine, but by keeping our face bright even in the shadows.
...Not by making our life always pleasant, but in showing us where MESSIAH and HIS cause needs us most; and by making us zealous to do HISperfect will.
...Not by keeping us from conflict and war, but by bringing us off every field of battle more than conquerors through the LORD Y’SHUAha'MASHIACH WHO loves us most.

The Eternal New Year began in the hearts of those who accepted MESSIAH Y’SHUA as their LORD & SAVIOR. At that moment the heart was changed and all his sins were cast into the depths of the sea and they now are a “new creation” in CHRIST JESUS THE KING. The trumpet of the LORD OF HOSTS will sound announcing the greatest event as a new name is written in the LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE!

This New Creation is now awaiting the sound of the ETERNAL ONE when HEcalls us Home to be with HIM forevermore. Truly, this will be the greatest of all events since the days of MESSIAH’S flesh! O glorious day when the LORD Y’SHUA shall come for HIS OWN — both Jew and Gentile —  who have accepted the redemption HE purchased with HIS death being the SUPREMESACRIFICE on the Altar of Calvary!

We cover you with our love and prayers. May your relationship with the HOLY CREATOR, the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH grow daily in the little time we have left to serve HIM here on earth. Amen

LORD, give us the kindness to hear with compassion, to offer support, loving comfort and care; the courage to do what is needed, the wisdom to choose what is right and most fair. Give us the vision to see what is possible; the faith that will help pave the way for a present that is hopeful – a future that is peaceful. Give us the heart to bring joy to each day..
May this Rosh ha’Shanah mark a new beginning for you...a year blessed from beginning to end with goodness and promise through MESSIAH Y’SHUAthe KING of Glory. Amen!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Grace to you and peace from GOD our FATHER and the LORD JESUS CHRIST.” Galatians 1:3
The Rosh ha’Shanah prayers — longer, more melodious, and more intense and inspirational than usual — concentrate on GOD'S KINGSHIP and HIS judgment of all creatures. "Our PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER, we have no king but YOU. Help us for YOUR NAME’S sake. Grant us a blessed new year, annul all evil decrees against us, annul the plots of our enemies, frustrate the designs of our foes, rid us of tyrants, rid us of pestilence, sword, famine, captivity, sin and destruction. Forgive and pardon all our sins. Help us return to YOU fully repentant. Send complete healing to the sick; remember us with favor; hasten our deliverance. Exalt YOUR people, Israel and those who are called by YOUR NAME everywhere. Hear us our INCREDIBLE REDEEMER, show us mercy and compassion, accept our prayer with favor and mercy. Do not turn us away unanswered. Remember that we are dust. Have pity for us and our children; act for those slain for YOUR HOLY NAME who were slaughtered for YOUR unity — who went through fire and water; act for YOUR sake if not for ours. Answer us though we have no deeds to plead our cause. Save us with mercy and loving-kindness. And, make us careful to bless, praise and thank YOU all the days of our life. Amen!"
Based on the commandment in Numbers 29:1, one hundred Shofar blasts are dramatically sounded throughout the prayers, "awakening" us to improve our ways. May you enter each day with joy in your hearts and confidence that ALMIGHTY GOD, in HIS mercy, will continue to use us as HIS messenger of the GOOD NEWS to this needy world. May it be a year where we do good to others; a year full of blessings of health, happiness, and peace glorifying the Apple of our Eyes – our Great MESSIAH.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Y’SHUA offers direction without concern, peace without worry, and life without end.

WHAT THE LORD TOLERATES
"I wiped out nations: Their corner towers are desolate; I turn their thoroughfares into ruins, with none passing by. Their towns lie waste without people, without inhabitants. And I thought that you would fear ME, receive instruction, and that the punishment I brought would not be lost on you and cut off your vision. Instead, all the more eagerly you have practiced corruption in all your deeds. But wait for Msays the LORD— for the day when I arise as an ACCUSER; when I decide to gather nations, to bring kingdoms together, to pour out Mindignation on them, all Mblazing anger. Indeed, by the fire of Mpassion all the earth shall be consumed." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah3. 6 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

ALMIGHTY GOD revealed HIMSELF in the HOLY SCRIPTURES as the UNIQUEMEASURE and the EMBODIMENT OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Hholds the extraordinary position of being CREATOR and SUSTAINER of the heavens and the earth, and all that Hcreated. Our GOD is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowledge) and omnipresent (everywhere all at once) and His altogether righteous. There is no inconsistency, His perfect, holy and just.

When we insist on doing what is right in our own eyes, apart from GOD'Sholy standards; tolerate what Hdoes not tolerate, or fail to tolerate what Hdoes tolerate, we are sinning. Sin and iniquity are things the MASTER DESIGNER does not or will not tolerate. "Your iniquities have been a barrier between you and your GOD, your sins have made HIM turn HIS face away and refuse to hear you. For your hands are defiled with crime and blood and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips speak falsehood, your tongue utters treachery. No one sues justly, nor appeal for truth or pleads honestly. They rely on emptiness and speak falsehood, conceiving wrong and begetting evil." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 59. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Although the LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL does not tolerate sin, His more than tolerant of mankind; His compassionate and merciful. Prophets of old are replete with examples of GOD'intolerance as well as HIS tolerance. They carefully spell out the consequences of sin. . . captivity, dispersion, hardship, suffering and death. They also tell the positive side of serving the LIVING GOD. . . redemption, renewal, eternal life and heavenly rewards

The ALMIGHTY ONE not only has the unique right to be intolerant of our sin, but Hprovides the "UNIQUE MEANS" to make us righteous. "THEWAY" has been provided for us to be reconciled to HIM"For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making expiation for your lives upon the altar; IT IS THE BLOOD, as life, that effects expiation." [Leviticus (Vayikra17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] Y’SHUAha'MASHIACH is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The LORD JESUS said of HIMSELF"I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6]

Therefore beloved, we should consider what manner of persons we ought to be in holy conduct and godliness, "looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of GOD, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat." [2 Peter 3.12]

"For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved. He who believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the oNLYBEGOTTEN SON OF GOD." [John 3. 17 - 18] Only by acknowledging and agreeing with GOD'S intolerance of our sin can we discover that His also incredibly merciful and loving in providing MESSIAH Y’SHUA, THE WAY, to have a relationship with us. In the PERSON of the LORD JESUS, we can see how far ALMIGHTY GOD was willing to go in order for us to be made right. Thank you LORD JESUS for YOUR cleansing blood

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”The end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers.”1 Peter 4:7
May your life be a witness and beneficiary of the MOST HIGH GOD'care, love, and presence.  HIS grace is greater then all our needs!
O GOD, do not keep silent; do not hold aloof; do not be quiet, O EL! For YOUR enemies rage, YOUR foes assert themselves, they plot craftily against YOUR people, take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say, “Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel’s name will be mentioned no more.” Deal with them, O my GOD, make them like thistledown, like chaff driven by the wind, as a fire burns a forest, as flames scorch the hills, pursue them with YOUR tempest, terrify them with YOUR storm. Cover their faces with shame so that they seek YOUR NAME, O YEHOWAH. May they be frustrated and terrified, disgraced and doomed forever. May they know that YOUR NAME, YOURS alone is YEHOWAH, the GLORIOUS MASTERover all the earth. [see Psalms/Tehillym 83]
Giving thanks, praise, worship, honor and glory to the HOLY ONE WHO has redeemed us andmade us HIS OWN special, peculiar people.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Wed 29 Jul 2020, 8:55 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The foolishness of GOD is DIVINE wisdom, demanding faith. Life is a delicious opportunity right now. You will never get that moment back again.

DILUTING SCRIPTURE
"Be careful to observe only that which I enjoin (direct, command, instruct)upon you; neither add to it nor take away from it." [Deuteronomy (Devarim)12. 32 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

There are many people in a large variety of cults who think their leader has a new revelation some new inspired word from ALMIGHTY GOD. They have not received any new commands, but have obviously failed to look into what is written and believed what the LIFE-GIVING WRITTEN WORDsays. This is heresy, and extremely foolish. Though it seems to also be a practice of some denominations who presumptuously cut out and/or explain away every BIBLE verse they consider offensive in some way. This is an exceedingly dangerous practice since "anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 15]

Paul too spoke words of diligent caution to the Galatians— "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from HIM WHO called you in the grace of CHRIST, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of CHRIST.  But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.  As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other Gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." [Galatians 1. 6 -9]

The warning is confirmed throughout HOLY SCRIPTURE. "I know that whatever ELOHIYM has brought to pass shall be forever: Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it — ELOHIYM does it, that men should fear (revere, respect, be in awe of) HIM." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 3. 14Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Thus says the LORD: 'Stand in the court of the LORD'SHouse, and speak... all the words that I command you to speak.  Do not omit a word.  Perhaps they will listen and turn back from their evil way, that I may relent concerning the calamity (punishment) which I am planning to bring on them because of the wicked and evil acts they are doing.’" [Jeremiah (Tehillym) 26. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

In the final testimony of the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH to those who were to be HIS followers comes the clear command not to add to or dilute the INSPIRED LIFE-GIVING WORD: "If anyone takes away from the words of the Book of this Prophecy, GOD shall take away his part from the Bookof Life, from the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this Book." [Revelation 22. 19]

If men believe it or not, the HOLY SCRIPTURE is the exact, infallible, unerring, fixed, established, absolutely precise and true WORD OFGOD. The HIGH & LOFTY ONE says what HE means, and means what HEsays. The various authors of the BIBLE occasionally used figurative language, in which case the symbols are usually explained in context. When the writer clearly intends to be understood literally, such as in the first chapter of Genesis, it is dangerous to impose some symbolic meaning on the passage to take in outside considerations.

This appears to be what Paul meant when he said, "We have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the WORD OF GOD deceitfully, but by manifestation of the TRUTHcommending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of GOD.  But even if our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the Gospel of the glory of CHRIST, WHO is the IMAGE OF GOD, should shine on them." [2 Corinthians 4. 2 - 5]

Changing or diluting what "is written" is completely unforgivable and is a treacherous path for those who choose the broad and easy way. It will be easier at MESSIAH’S Judgment Seat to explain why we believed GOD than why we believed men who questioned the ALMIGHTY ONE.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
"The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear HIM, in those who hope in HISmercy. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your GOD, O Zion!" Psalms 147:11-12
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR compassion boundless.  Be gracious to us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of YOURREVERED WORD.  Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOURcommandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOURPRECIOUS NAME.

Savior, Creator, Word

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is pointless to argue with those who happily pervert reality in the service of their profoundly held prejudices.

SAVIOR, CREATOR, WORD
"In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through HIM, and without HIM nothing was made that was made." [John 1. 1 - 3]

In the first chapter of John’s gospel, there are many names and titles associated with the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH, this is amazingly extraordinary. Y’SHUA is "the TRUE LIGHT, which lightens every man that comes into the world." [v. 9] HE is "the ONLY-BEGOTTEN of the FATHER, full of grace and truth" and "the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, which is n the bosom of the FATHER." [v. 18] John the Baptizer called HIM "the LORD" [v. 23], "the LAMB OF GOD, which takes away the sin of the world" [v. 29], and "the SON OF GOD." [v. 34] HIS disciples then called HIM "MASTER" [v. 38], and "MESSIAH" [v. 41], as well as "JESUS of Nazareth." [v. 45] Nathanael accredited HIM as being the "KING of Israel" [v. 49], and Y’SHUA called HIMSELF "the SON OF MAN." [v. 51]

The first title John ascribed to the LORD Y’SHUA was plainly "the WORD" — from a word hard to interpret in its complete richness; at best meaning "reason, communication, doctrine, speech" and so much more. With reference to MESSIAH, it tells us that HE is always the ONE WHO reveals, speaks for, manifests, explains, and incarnates the HEAVENLY FATHER. "HIS NAME is called THE WORD OF GOD." [Revelation 19. 13]

John takes us back before Genesis/Bereshith 1:1 where we learn that the pre-incarnate CHRIST created all things. "For by HIM all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through HIM and for HIM." [Colossians 1. 16] "In the beginning" HE was, before HE created! And all things were made by HIM. "The WORD OF THE LORD... stretches out the heavens, laid firm the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 1 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "By the WORD OF THE LORD the heavens were made, all the host of them by the breath of HIS mouth." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"I praise YOUR NAME for YOUR steadfast love and faithfulness; YOU have magnified YOUR WORD above YOUR NAME." [Psalms (Tehillym) 138. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE. As the ETERNAL, OMNIPOTENT WORD OF GOD, the pre-incarnate SON OF MAN spoke all things into being, the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH is the WORD and the WORD is GOD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be the glory both now and forever. Amen!” 2 Peter 3:18
Our prayer as we end this day of Sabbath: O GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guile. Be my support when grief silences my voice, and my comfort when woe bends my spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trial and temptation and to be patient and forgiving when others wrong me. Guide me by the Light of YOUR counsel, that I may ever find strength in YOU, my ROCK and my REDEEMER, my GLORY and the LIFTER of my head. Praise and all thanks to YOU! Amen
Enjoy a week blessings and serving others.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Sat 20 Jun 2020, 12:41 pm

The Prophet

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is so much that we could see in the physical as well as in the spiritual world if we would just let ALMIGHTY GOD touch our eyes!

THE PROPHET
"The LORD your GOD will raise up for you a PROPHET from among your own people, like myself (Moses); HIM you shall heed." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 18. 15 Tanakh, Torah]

Prophecy Fulfilled: On the last and greatest day of the Feast (Sukkot/SIMCHAT TORAH), the MESSIAH LORD Y’SHUA stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to ME and drink. Whoever believes in ME, as the SCRIPTURE has said, streams of Living Water will flow from within him. By this HE meant the SPIRIT, WHOM those who believed in HIM were later to receive. Up to that time the SPIRIT had not been given, since JESUS had not yet been glorified. On hearing HIS WORDS, some of the people said — "Surely this MAN is THE PROPHET." [John 7. 37 - 40]

Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is the only ONE WHO righteously executes the offices of Prophet, Priest and King. HE is the SUBSTANCE of GOD'S character stamped in HUMAN FORM. When JESUS, GOD'S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON speaks to us, HE fulfills the office of the SUPERIOR PROPHET; when Y’SHUA purged our sins, HE accomplished the perfect work of the PRIEST; and after carrying out the once-for-all sacrifice, the LORD JESUS sat down at the right hand of the MAJESTY on high, where HE sits as KING. [Hebrews 1. 1 - 3]

MESSIAH, THE PROPHET: Speaking to Moses on Mount Horeb the LORD GOD said, "I will raise up a PROPHET for them from among their own people, like yourself; I will put MY WORDS in HIS mouth and HE will speak to them all that I command HIM; and if anyone fails to heed the words that HE speaks in MY NAME, I MYSELF will call him to account." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 18. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

"The SPIRIT OF THE SOVEREIGN LORD is on ME, because the LORD has anointed ME; HE has sent ME as a herald of joy to the humble, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and liberation from darkness to the imprisoned; to proclaim a year of the LORD'S favor and the day of vindication by our GOD; to comfort all who mourn." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 61. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"CHRIST, WHO has been appointed for you — even JESUS. HE must remain in heaven until the time comes for GOD to restore everything, as HE promised long ago through his holy prophets. For Moses said — The LORD your GOD will raise up for you a PROPHET like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything HE tells you. Anyone who does not listen to HIM will be completely cut off from among HIS people." [Acts 3. 20 – 23; Deuteronomy/Devarim 15:15, 18, 19]

"JESUS returned to Galilee in the power of the SPIRIT, and news about HIM spread through the whole countryside. HE taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. HE went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath Day HE went into the synagogue, as was HIS custom. And HE stood up to read. The Scroll of the Prophet Isaiah was handed to HIM. Unrolling it, HE found the place where it is written — The SPIRIT OF THE LORD is on ME, because HE has anointed ME to preach GOOD NEWS to the poor. HE has sent ME to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the LORD'S favor. Then HE rolled up the SCROLL, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on HIM, and HE began by saying to them — Today this SCRIPTURE is fulfilled in your hearing." [Luke 4. 14 - 21]

"After the people saw the miraculous sign that Y’SHUA did, they began to say — Surely this is THE PROPHET WHO is to come into the world." [John 6. 14]

MESSIAH, THE PRIEST: "I will raise up for MYSELF a FAITHFUL PRIEST, who will act in accordance with MY wishes and MY purposes. I will firmly establish HIS House, and HE will minister before MY ANOINTED forevermore." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 34 - 36 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The LORD said to my LORD: Sit at MY right hand until I make YOUR enemies a footstool for your feet. The LORD will stretch forth from Zion YOUR mighty scepter; hold sway over YOUR enemies. The LORD has sworn and will not relent, YOU are a PRIEST forever, after the manner of Melchizedek, a RIGHTFUL KING by MY decree.'" [Psalms (Tehillym) 110. 1 – 2, 4 Tanakh, Torah]

"Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on JESUS, the APOSTLE and HIGH PRIEST WHOM we confess. But CHRIST is faithful as a SON over GOD'S House. And we are HIS House, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast." [Hebrews 3. 1, 6]

"No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by GOD, just as Aaron was. So CHRIST also did not take upon HIMSELF the glory of becoming a HIGH PRIEST. But GOD said to HIM — YOU are MY SON, today I have become YOUR FATHER. And HE says in another place — YOU are a PRIEST forever, in the order of Melchizedek." [Hebrews 5. 4 - 6]

MESSIAH, THE KING: "See, a time is coming — declares the LORD — when I will raise up a TRUE BRANCH to David's line. HE shall reign as KING and shall prosper, and HE shall do what is just and right in the land. In HIS days Judah will be delivered and Israel will dwell secure. This is the NAME by which HE shall be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (VINDICATOR)." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"I have installed MY KING on Zion, MY Holy Mountain! I will proclaim the decree: the LORD said ME — YOU are MY SON; I have FATHERED YOU this day. Ask it of ME, and I will make the nations YOUR domain; YOUR possession, the ends of the earth. YOU will rule them with an iron scepter; shatter them like potter's ware." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 6 - 9 Tanakh, Torah]

"GOD, WHO at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON, WHOM HE has appointed HEIR of all things, through WHOM also HE made the worlds. The SON is the radiant brightness of GOD'S GLORY AND THE EXPRESS (precise, exact) IMAGE of HIS PERSON, upholding and sustaining all things by HIS POWERFUL WORD, when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the MAJESTY in heaven." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 3]

The LORD Y’SHUA, blessed be HIS GLORIOUS NAME, was the PROPHET WHO revealed GOD'S truth; the PRIEST WHO provided GOD'S redemption; and the ETERNAL KING WHO imparts GOD'S power! Thus, Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is exalted above all blessings and praise, the LIVING WORD!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
“The end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers.” 1 Peter 4:7
Welcoming Sabbath of Shelach – “Send Thou” [Parasha-the appointed reading: Numbers 13:1 - 15:41; Joshua 2:1-24; Matthew 10:1-14]
May we so labor in YOUR service, LORD GOD, that our lives become a hymn of praise to YOU. We thank, adore and praise YOU with all our being!

Post  Admin on Thu 18 Jun 2020, 10:22 pm

Soldiers & Teachers
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I would rather be an optimist and be duped (tricked, fooled, deceived, hoodwinked) than be a pessimist and be right.

SOLDIERS & TEACHERS
"That they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will." [2 Timothy 2. 26]

Today, as never before, we are in a great battle for the minds of young people. The battlefield is the world all around us, in the home as well as church, television, computers, or wherever teaching — good or bad — takes place.
It is greatly significant that one of the most significant verses on teaching and soldiering occur together — "My son, be strong in the grace that is in MESSIAH Y’SHUA. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH." [2 Timothy 2. 1 - 3] Clearly a faithful teacher is a skilled soldier in the battle of the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA against the devil for the minds of those we are trying to teach and "wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience." [1 Timothy 2. 18 - 19]
The battle can only be fought with "the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD." [Ephesians 6. 17] Therefore, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." [Colossians 4. 6] Unquestionably, "The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious... the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life." [Ecclesiastes/Kohelet 10:12; Proverbs/Mishle 10:11]
Those whose minds have been ensnared by the devil may yet be recovered. So the wise teachers tactic is simply — "A servant of the LORD must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if GOD perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth." [2 Timothy 2. 24 - 25] "Therefore take up the whole armor of GOD, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." [Ephesians 6. 13] It is vitally important that one be well equipped and ready to stand firm in the wisdom and knowledge of the ETERNAL ONE for not even Satan can stand before the MIGHTY SWORD OF THE SPIRIT wielded by a suitable, well fitted soldier-teacher.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
“Blessed be the LORD forevermore! Amen and Amen.” [Psalms 89:52]
As we thank and celebrate our veterans by remembering their great sacrifices so we can be free, we must also contemplate what the future holds. There is no doubt, America is throwing away all honor and dignity of the righteous people by making totally perverse laws. The new morality (?) has permeated (flooded, inundated) this country and the world from within as the enemy is in the camp. They have attacked that very freedom and liberty that the brave were once deployed for and fought to preserve. Wake up and consider your latter end! The nation that forgets the GREAT GOD OF CREATION has sealed its own fate.
HEAVENLY FATHER, YOU alone are our HOPE. Thru YOUR lovingkindness, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy. Cause YOUR TRUTH to fall upon our hearts like seed on fertile ground. And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Remind us that YOU are the CENTER of our joy; thank YOU again for YOUR great love and kindness to us. Amen!

Post  Admin on Sat 23 May 2020, 10:31 pm

True Priests of God

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
O LORD our MIGHTY KING, YOU gave us this great and holy seventh day in love, for which we bless and praise YOU.

TRUE PRIESTS OF GOD
As chosen priests of the OMNIPOTENT GOD, we march through earth’s wilderness, called out from the world, cleansed and with the christened anointing oil on us. Each one of us perform his assignment that ALMIGHTY GOD has given individually and bears the true testimony being fully commissioned of the precious things of GOD witnessing in thought, word, and actions. We are the living tabernacle of the MOST HIGH GOD showing HIS power, presence and miraculous life.

Thus we are chosen, called, committed, cleansed, clothed, consecrated (sanctify, made holy, bless, purify), christened (anointed), conformed (obedient), and commissioned (duties assigned). To better clarify our life’s stand in this unique position we will look into each glorified characteristic of what it is to be specially designed and likened to our PRECIOUS MASTER.

CHOSEN — "For you are a holy people consecrated to YEHOWAH ELOHEYK; the LORD your GOD has chosen you to be a people for HIMSELF, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 7. 6 Tanakh, Torah] "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10]

CALLED — "I, YEHOWAH, in MY grace have called you in righteousness, I will hold your hand; I will keep you and appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles — to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the dungeon." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi’im] God has "Called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light." [1 Peter 2. 9] "Moreover whom HE predestined, these HE also called; whom HE called, these HE also justified; and whom HE justified, these HE also glorified." [Romans 8. 30]

COMMITTED — "Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established." [Proverbs/Mishle 16. 3] "Leave all your way to the LORD, trust also in HIM and HE will do it." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Cast your burden on YEHOWAH and HE will sustain you; HE will never let the righteous be moved." [Psalms (Tehillym) 55. 22 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

CLEANSED — "If we walk in the light as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin." [1 John 1. 7] "Atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 16. 30 Tanakh, Torah] "You were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the NAME of the LORD Y’SHUA and by the SPIRIT of our GOD." [1 Corinthians 6. 11]

CLOTHED — "Let YOUR priests, O YEHOWAH ELOHIYM, be clothed (in holy garments) with salvation, and let the saints rejoice in YOUR goodness." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 6. 41 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "I will also clothe her priests in victory, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 132. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE put on the garments of retribution for clothing, and wrapped himself in zeal as in a robe." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 59. 17 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "I will greatly rejoice in YEHOWAH, my whole being exults joyfully in ELOHEY; for HE has clothed me with the garments of salvation, HE has covered me with the robe of righteousness." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 61. 10 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

CONSECRATED — "Dedicate (consecrate) yourselves to the LORD this day, that HE may bestow (place upon, give, bequeath), on you a blessing this day." [Exodus (Shemot) 32. 29 Tanakh, Torah] "I am the LORD your GOD: you shall therefore consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am holy." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 11. 44 Tanakh, Torah]

CHRISTENED — "YEHOWAH is the strength of HIS people; HE is the stronghold, the saving refuge (shelter) of HIS anointed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 28. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "YAH is my strength and might, HE has become my deliverance. This is my EL — I will praise and glorify HIM; ELOHEY of my father, and I will exalt HIM." [Exodus (Shemot) 15. 2 Tanakh, Torah] "Exult (glory) in HIS HOLY NAME; let all who seek the LORD rejoice! Seek the LORD and HIS strength; seek HIS PRESENCE continually!" [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 16. 10 – 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

CONFORMED — GOD’S desire is that we are conformed to the image of HIS SON, Y’SHUA. "For whom HE foreknew, HE also predestined to be conformed to the image of HIS SON, that HE might be the firstborn among many brethren." [Romans 8. 29] "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the SPIRIT OF THE LORD." [2 Corinthians 3. 18] "To the pilgrims… elect according to the foreknowledge of GOD THE FATHER, in sanctification of the SPIRIT, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of JESUS CHRIST." [1 Peter 1. 1 - 2]

COMMISSIONED — Fear of the LIVING GOD and keeping HIS commandments is the whole commission of man. "Revere GOD and keep HIS commandments! This applies to all mankind, for GOD will bring every work into judgment, man must give account for everything he has done, including every secret thing, be it good or evil." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 12. 13 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Behold, the fear of the LORD is wisdom; to depart from evil is understanding." [Job (Iyowb) 28. 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The beginning (best part) of wisdom is the fear of the LORD; all those who practice it gain sound understanding by obeying HIS commandments. HIS praise endures forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 111. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The fear of the LORD is the beginning (best part) of knowledge." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 7a Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Each one of us are called by the LOVING MASTER and are to perform faithfully the assigned task the MOST HIGH GOD has given to us. May we be found faithful bearing evidence to WHOM we belong and sharing HIS directive to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." [Matthew 28. 19 - 20] Amen!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and HIS greatness is unsearchable.” Psalms 145:3
Welcome Shabbat! – Celebrating the traditional Melaveh Malkeh (escorting in the Sabbath) - Queen of the week!
This is the Sabbath of Bamidbar – “In The Wilderness” [Reading: Numbers 1:1 - 4:20; 1 Samuel 20:18-42; Matthew 4:1-17]
Be pleased, O LORD our GOD, to strengthen us by YOUR commandments, and especially by the commandment of the seventh day, this great and holy Sabbath, given for our rest and repose in love in accordance with the teaching of YOUR will. In YOUR favor, O LORD our GOD, grant us such repose that there be no trouble, grief or lamenting on the day of our rest. Let us, O LORD, behold the consolation of Zion and the rebuilding of Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City, for YOU are the GOD of our salvation and consolation in WHOM we find great joy and pleasure. It is a mitzvah to take delight in Shabbat observance, as Isaiah said, "You shall call Shabbat a delight."
Day 43 of the Omer
Today is Yom Yerushalayim – Jerusalem Day

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Sat 09 May 2020, 10:34 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Rabbi Akiba said — Everything is foreseen, yet freedom is given; the world is judged by grace, yet all is according to the amount of good works." [TALMUD, Aboth 3. 19]
HOLY SCRIPTURE says — "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast." [Ephesians 2. 8 - 9]

PRESENT WORLD ENDS
"Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from GOD out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the Lake of Fire & Brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." [Revelation 20. 7 – 10]

All Satanic rebellion is completely crushed. And, the old heaven and old earth, the testing grounds, will pass away. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS will by no means pass away." [Luke 21. 33] "YOU, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of YOUR hands. They will perish, but YOU remain; and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak YOU will fold them up, and they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 10 - 12] "The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2. 17]

This will occur at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment: "Then I saw a Great White Throne and HIM WHO sat on it, from WHOSE face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them... Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; also there was no more sea." [Revelation 20. 11; 21. 1]

The elements will be dissolved by fire: "All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 34. 4a Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men — The Day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up with fervent heat." [2 Peter 3. 7, 10]

The Great White Throne Judgment will be accurate and just, based on the words, actions, attitude, stewardship, thoughts and motives of each individual. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known." [Luke 12. 2] "I saw the dead, small and great, standing before GOD, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the Books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works." [Revelation 20. 12 – 13]

The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA taught us to fear GOD: "And I say to you, MY friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear HIM WHO, after HE has killed, has power to cast into Hell; Yes, I say to you, fear HIM!" [Luke 12. 4 – 5] For after the 1,000 Year Kingdom, death and hell (a temporary confinement) will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which is the eternal abode of all wicked. "Then Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire. The cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the Lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." [Revelation 20. 11 - 15; 21. 8] Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." [Mark 9:44, 46, 48]

Therefore beloved, looking forward to the things which are about to take place, be diligent to be found by the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY LORD GOD in peace, without spot and blameless.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
"The LORD YEHOWAH lives, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; — the nations shall bless themselves in HIM, and in HIM they shall glory." Jeremiah 4:2
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is the LIVING FOUNTAIN refresh and sustain each of you, our cherished friends. May the LIGHT of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, fill your up-coming week with a yearning desire to submit to HIS inscrutable will and give you strength for your daily tasks. May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be a part of each day as you share the knowledge of wisdom of the LOVING MASTER with others.
Tov Shavua — have a good week!
Day 30 of the Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Perfect Timing

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY...
One is truly blind when you cannot see what is wrong with what GOD calls sin.

PERFECT TIMING
"The righteous man perishes, and no one considers and takes it to heart; pious men are taken away, and no one gives thought that because of evil, the righteous was taken away." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 57. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Typically, the death of a promising young man or woman seem perplexingly tragic. This is true and even more painful in the sudden death of a child. HOLY SCRIPTURE tells of an incident when it was a blessing in the case of the child of Jeroboam since his little son was the only one of that household who would be mourned. "As for you (Ahijah speaking to the wife of Jeroboam), go back home; as soon as you set foot in the town, the child will die. And all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for he alone of Jeroboam’s family will be brought to burial, because in him there is found something good toward LORD, the GOD of Israel." [1 Kings (Melakhim Alef) 14. 12 - 13 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

A CHRISTian can be confident in GOD’S total plan for their lives no matter their age for they will not be "cut off before their time" for we are confident that no event will occur before the MAGNIFICENT CREATOR’S perfect timing, for HE "works all things after the counsel of HIS OWN will." [Ephesians 1. 11] We know that GOD loves us greatly because HE sent HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON WHO HE dearly loved to die for us. Therefore, "all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are the called according to HIS purpose. For whom HE foreknew, HE also predestined to be conformed to the image of HIS SON." [Romans 8. 28 - 29] "The Gospel, according to the power of GOD, WHO has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to HIS OWN purpose and grace which was given to us in MESSIAH Y’SHUA before time began." [2 Timothy 1. 8 – 9] "Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of GOD commit their souls to HIM in doing good, as to a FAITHFUL CREATOR." [1 Peter 4. 19]

Indeed, the ALL-KNOWING ONE has allowed the righteous to perish and the merciful to be taken away to spare them from "the evil to come" either increasing tribulation in the world, or even the further growth of developing sin in their own lives. It may be that their untimely departure "to depart and be with CHRIST… is far better" [Philippians 1:23] and will be used of GOD to lead others to MESSIAH and salvation. It also should give their loved ones greater and more enthusiastic incentive to learn more of the WORD OF GOD and HIS gracious promises, as well as to forsake sin in their own lives. In situations where death seems to have been hastened because of a great zeal for the LORD, the friends and loved ones can rejoice that the martyr’s "crown of life" [Revelation 2:10] is awaiting them.

Many other things that we cannot yet understand may exist "For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become HIS counselor? Or who has first given to HIM and it shall be repaid to him? For of HIM and through HIM and to HIM are all things, to WHOM be glory forever. Amen" [Romans 11. 34 - 36] However, we do know that not even a sparrow "falls to the ground apart from your FATHER'S will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." [Matthew 10. 29 - 31]

Though we may now not fully understand, we can rest in the fact that our ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY KING OF GLORY does all things well.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim — If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May the MOST HIGH LORD GOD anoint and empower you daily. Remember, worship is always essential– and our focus is on Y’SHUA, the ONE WHO is our ROCK OF AGES, our FORTRESS, our LIGHT & SALVATION, our soon-returning MESSIAH & KING. Come into HIS PRESENCE reverently with thanksgiving and enter HIS courts with praise.
Day 25 of the Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Messiah Y'Shua, The Rock
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The route to wisdom is humility.

MESSIAH Y’SHUA, THE ROCK
"All drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of that spiritual ROCK (Hebrew: T'SUR) that followed them, and that ROCK was CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 10. 4] "The NAME of YEHOWAH I proclaim; give glory to ELOHEINU! The ROCK! — HIS deeds are perfect. Yes! all HIS ways are just; the faithful EL, never false. True and upright is HE." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Torah]

When the children of Israel began their forty year wanderings through the wilderness, GOD OMNIPOTENT commanded Moses to strike the ROCK (T'SUR — "SMITTEN ROCK OF JUDGMENT") so thirst-quenching waters might be miraculously provided. "I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock and water will issue from it, and the people will drink." [Exodus (Shemot) 17. 6 Tanakh, Torah] This SMITTEN ROCK OF JUDGMENT is a beautiful type of MESSIAH Y’SHUA being smitten once on the cross producing life — giving forth the pure waters of salvation for us.
At the end of the forty years Moses struck the ROCK OF PROVISION in disobedience to ETERNAL GOD'S command simply to "speak to the rock" for its cool refreshing water. "And Moses raised his hand and struck the rock (cela) twice with his rod." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 20. 11 Tanakh, Torah] This ROCK is a type of the risen, ascended ANOINTED SAVIOR WHO is seated at the Throne of Grace. Now, we as believers simply SPEAK to our LOVING MASTER in order to receive our daily, fresh, redeeming grace.
Paul the Apostle, in his letter to the Corinthians, reminds us that the reason they received physical water was that their spiritual ROCK, Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, had been with them supplying their needs from the beginning to the end. How wondrously amazing to know that the ALL-SUFFICIENT ROCK is always with us. The LORD JESUS promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." [1 Corinthians 10. 4]
We begin with the SUFFERING MESSIAH at the Cross, continue with HIM through this life; then, we travel with HIM right into heaven. "Though I walk through the valley of deaths deepest darkness, I fear no harm, for YOU are with me; YOUR ROD and YOUR STAFF — they comfort me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our ROCK, Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH, is trustworthy and unwavering. "I adore YOU, O LORD, my ROCK (T'SUR — ROCK OF JUDGMENT), my FORTRESS, my RESCUER, my GOD, my ROCK (CELA — ROCK OF PROVISION), my STRENGTH in WHOM I seek refuge and in WHOM I put my trust; my SHIELD, my MIGHTY CHAMPION, the HORN of my salvation, my HAVEN, my HIGH TOWER. I will call upon the LORD WHO is worthy to be praised. I called on the LORD and was delivered from my enemies." [Psalms (Tehillym) 18. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The LORD JESUS, our PERFECT FOUNDATION, the SOLID ROCK, is our GREATEST JOY and our HIGHEST PRAISE.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and HIS greatness is unsearchable.” Psalms 145:3
O GOD, WHO alone is all good, WHOSE mercies fail not; WHOSE loving-kindnesses never cease, we have all our hope and trust in YOU. We bless YOU, our SALVATION and our HELP, our GOD WHOM thanksgiving and eternal praises are due. We are ever grateful that YOU dwell in us!
Day 24 of the Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Wed 04 Dec 2019, 12:18 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Circumstances are instrumental tools for the wise.

OUR PERFECT EXAMPLE
"To this you were called; because CHRIST JESUS also suffered for you leaving you an example, that you should follow HIS steps." [1 Peter 2. 21]

The four following verses establish a sanction of praise to the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH for HIS character, nature, attributes and HIS works, accomplishments and many wondrous deeds:

HIS CHARACTER:  "WHO did not commit sin, nor was guile found in HIS mouth." [1 Peter 2. 22]  This refers to a very careful inspection and examination with "no sin or guile (deception)" found anywhere.  The MOST HOLY LORD, the ANOINTED ONE is TOTAL PERFECTION & ALL—TOGETHER LOVELY.

HIS LIFE:  "WHO, when HE (Y’SHUA) was reviled (injurious slander — a bitter, sharp, heart-breaking wound), did not revile in return; when HE suffered, HE did not threaten; but committed HIMSELF to HIM (GOD THE FATHER) WHO judges righteously." [1 Peter 2. 23]  "Shall not the JUDGE (Hebrew: SHEPHAT) of all the earth deal justly?" [Genesis (Bereshith) 18. 25-b Tanakh, Torah]

HIS SACRIFICE:  "WHO HIMSELF (Y’SHUA) bore our sins in HIS OWN BODY on the tree; that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by WHOSE stripes (literally one bleeding stripe — MESSIAH was so brutally beaten and mutilated by HIS tormentors that HE was simply one massive bruised laceration), you were healed (our healing is past tense at the point of salvation... referring primarily to spiritual healing rather than physical)." [1 Peter 2. 24]  "But HE was wounded because of our sins, crushed because of our iniquities.  HE bore the chastisement that made us whole, and by HIS bruises we were healed." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

HIS MISSION:  "For you were like sheep going astray, but are now returned to the SHEPHERD and OVERSEER (the KING ETERNAL — Y’SHUA THE ANOINTED ONE) of your souls." [1 Peter 2. 25]  "Like a SHEPHERD (Hebrew: RO`IY) HE pastures HIS flock: HE gathers the lambs in HIS arms and carries them in HIS bosom; gently HE leads those who are with young." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

MESSIAH Y’SHUA our REDEEMER & SAVIOR, the EVERLASTING GOD has done all to provide our atonement and cover our sins before the GREAT & HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH.  The SON OF MAN, the LORD JESUS, lived a Sinless Life; then died the WORTHY SACRIFICE to redeem HIS OWN special people.

Thank YOU, LORD — now and throughout all eternity we will praise YOU, our FATHER for YOUR majestic loving-kindness and goodness to us!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim —If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
If a sacrifice does not accompany good deeds it is meaningless.  Watch and pray... the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA our KING is coming soon; the signs are everywhere!
We magnify and sanctify YOUR GREAT NAME, O LORD GOD; may YOUR Kingdom be established speedily and in our time for our eyes long to see YOUR face!  A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Circumstances are instrumental tools for the wise.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Mankind may be the cause of events in this world, but GOD works all things together, the good and the evil, all the pieces of the puzzle, for the purpose of redemption

WHO IS HE
Agur ben-Yakeh, the writer of the Proverb, surveyed — "WHO has ascended heaven to and come down?  WHO has gathered up the wind in the hollow of HIS hand?  WHO has wrapped the waters in HIS garment?  WHO has established all the extremities of the earth?  What is HIS NAME or HIS SON'S NAME, if you know it?" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LORD Y’SHUA, the WORD OF GOD that took on flesh and became a MAN, is the ONE being spoken of in this text.  JESUS is the SON OF THE LIVING GOD.  "A CHILD is born to us, a SON is given to us.  And authority (government) has settled on HIS shoulders.  HE has been named — WONDERFUL (SECRET), COUNSELOR (PLANNER OF GRACE), the MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FATHER, RULER OF PEACE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

It was through Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH that ALMIGHTY GOD'S purpose might prosper.  Out of HIS anguish the "RIGHTEOUS SERVANT makes the many righteous, it is their punishment that HE bears; assuredly, I will give HIM the many as HIS portion, HE shall receive the multitude as HIS spoil.  For HE poured out HIMSELF to death and was numbered among the sinners, whereas HE bore the guilt of the many and made intercession for sinners." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  In love, the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH "gave HIMSELF for us, that HE might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for HIMSELF HIS OWN special people, zealous for good works." [Titus 2. 14]

"We know that the SON OF GOD has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know HIM WHO is true; and we are in HIM WHO is true, in HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.  This is the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE." [1 John 5. 20]  "You are MY witnesses — declares the LORD — MY servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe in ME, and understand that I am HE.  Before ME no god was formed, and after ME none shall exist — none but ME.  I, even I, am the LORD, and besides ME there is no Y’SHA` (SAVIOR)." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our LOVING CREATOR alone is a GREAT OMNIPOTENT GOD WHO proclaims beforehand what HE will do.  There is no other GOD besides HIM WHO became as we are that HE might deliver us from sin's grip.  The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL exclusively saved us for HS glory, redeem us back to the HEAVENLY FATHER, and purified us from all unrighteousness.  Then, HE made us HIS OWN special people.  Now we are HIS witnesses, proclaiming and broadcasting publicly that HE is LORD of lords, GOD of gods, the KING of all ages.  "Indeed before the day was, I am HE; none can deliver from MY hand.  When I act, who will reverse it?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The LORD of Hosts has sworn this oath — As I have designed (thought), so shall it happen; what I have planned, that shall stand (come to pass)... For the LORD OF HOSTS has planned, and who can annul or foil it?  HIS hand is stretched out (poised, prepared), and who can stop it (turn it back)?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 14. 24, 27 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   Isn't HE wonderful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim — If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
We have an AWESOME GOD, and HE is on HIS Throne ruling over the affairs of men.  The LORD is worthy of all our praise and worship, even in difficult times.  May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Beauty is the indomitable (strong) power of life, the determination to live on despite all difficulties, the drive for eternity...the ultimate goal.

ABRAHAM: ALTERING COURSE OF HISTORY (Part 2)
"Abraham believed GOD, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.  And he was called the friend of GOD." [James 2. 23]

The Covenant
Finally, when Abraham was seventy years old he had a great vision known as the Karat Berit “Cutting of the Blood Covenant.” [Genesis/Bereshith 15]  This Covenant singled out him and his family for a special existence in humanity.  It is really the beginning of the Jewish story.

This Special Covenant is a two-way commitment between CREATOR GOD and the Jewish people that will unleash forces to compel it to continue, including horrific suffering.  That is why Abraham is at first terror-stricken by the vision.  He sees darkness, vultures and fire, the enslavement in Egypt and the destructions that will come upon the Jewish people throughout history, perhaps even Auschwitz and the other death camps.

Nevertheless, far from a punishment leading to annihilation, the suffering of the Jewish people will ultimately make them stronger and bring them back to their commitment to The Covenant.  And we have seen this borne out in history again and again.  Just look at the enormous advances of the Jewish world after the Holocaust, which is only the most recent example of this terrible phenomenon.

Jewish history begins with Abraham's acceptance of The Covenant.  Whatever happens to the Jewish people is a result of that Covenant.  All the ups and downs are based on GOD’S perfect plan of salvation, for the promise of MESSIAH WHO came as portrayed on the pages of HOLY SCRIPTURE.

In reality, Abraham’s choice is the choice that faces each and every generation, indeed each and every Jew.  The struggle within the Jewish people to live by The Covenant and pursue its goals or to give up on it — as well as the struggle of the world to break The Covenant from them – is part and parcel of the struggle implied by acceptance of The Covenant.

Beyond Impossible
Of course, at the time Abraham is offered to enter into the covenant there is one technical problem: he has no children and his wife is incapable of having children.  She is infertile.

That, too, is part of The Covenant: under normal circumstances there is no Jewish future.  The Jewish people are always “infertile” coming face-to-face with the impossible.  There cannot be another generation.  And the world counts upon it; it is a sure thing that they will disappear.  After 3,000 years they are still waiting for it to happen.  Who could imagine that after so many years we are still here?  That is the covenantal nature of Jewish history.

The Covenant, impressed in the flesh of the Jew through circumcision, emanates from a realm beyond human reason.  It is our commitment to our GOD and a higher morality.  It is our faith and our responsibility; our history and destiny.  And it all originates in the great person, Abraham, who single-handedly, through YEHOWAH KABODI, GOD THE GLORIOUS ONE, changed the course of civilization.

Yet a GREATER ONE has come, the HOLY ONE promised that the woman's "Seed" would crush the head of the serpent. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 15]  This ONE WHO was born as an INCREDIBLY ATONING MIRACULOUS SIGN to all Israel.  "Assuredly, my LORD will give you a sign of HIS OWN accord!  Behold, a young virgin (Hebrew: almah — engaged virgin) is with CHILD and about to give birth to a SON.  Let her name HIM, IMMANU'EL (Hebrew: with us is GOD)." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 7. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  This SON is none other than Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH (JESUS THE CHRIST) for HE, and only HE fulfills all the 300 prophecies of the MESSIAH in the OLD COVENANT (TANAKH) that are found in the Law, the Prophets and the Writings. [Luke 24. 44]

May you know and believe the ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD, as did Abraham which GOD accounted to him for righteousness. [Genesis/Bereshith 15:6; Romans 4:3; Galatians 3:6; James 2:23]  You then will be privileged to receive HOLY GOD'S GREATEST BLESSINGS here and now... that of knowing the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH, our WONDERFUL LOVING REDEEMER, personally.  The LORD Y’SHUA is returning very soon as the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE and HE will rule and reign forevermore as "KING of kings and LORD of lords."  Hallelu'YAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim — If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRECIOUS SPIRIT dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
May it be YOUR will O GOD that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR DIVINE grace each and every day.  We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant heart.
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel.  Mighty are those who rejoice in YOU, LORD GOD MOST HIGH.
May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Post  Admin on Fri 29 Nov 2019, 9:05 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time is like a river…you cannot touch the water twice because the flow that has passed will never pass again..

ABRAHAM: ALTERING COURSE OF HISTORY (Part 1 of 2)
"Abraham believed GOD, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.  And he was called the friend of GOD." [James 2. 23]

Abraham: Altering the Course of History
Our forefather changed the way the world thought about itself, life and especially the MAJESTIC CREATOR.

That is why his name was changed from Abram (Hebrew: exalted father), Abraham, means “father of numerous nations.”  He is the father of civilization as we know it.  From his time and onward, people would never think about themselves the same way.

Abraham was born at a time of tremendous upheaval and turmoil.  He lived in a world with a collective memory of the Great Flood; a world contending with the tyranny of Nimrod, the first intensively wicked tyrant [Genesis 10:8]; a world that will divide into separate nations [1 Chronicles 1:19]; a world deeply at conflict with itself that ill endure more than two decades of war between major powers; a world buried under the heel of a thousand years of idolatry; a world gone mad – ultimately, a world with no hope for the future...until Abraham appeared, a man used by ALMIGHTY GOD.

THE TYRANNY OF IDOLATRY
Abram was born in Mesopotamia/Chaldea, modern-day Iraq.  It is believed that Abram was the oldest of triplets born to Terah (Abram, Nahor Haran -Gen 11:24).  Terah was a merchant who sold idols, a thriving business.  There was a different idol for every mood, temperament and personality.  The masses believed in paganism though they were frightened of it.  The more sophisticated people, however, knew it was nothing but as far as they could see there was no other alternative.  There was no other philosophy in the world so they didn’t go beyond it.  God’s call on Abram’s life provided the leadership to change all that.  His travels finally led him from Mesopotamia through Syria to the promised Land of Israel.  This truly was a time of great movement and migration of Abraham’s family including his father Terah and brothers except Haran who died in the land of the Chaldeans.

Jerusalem was called Shalem (Salem) at the time.  According to Oral Tradition, Noah’s son, Shem and his grandson Eber, introduced an institution located there dedicated to morality and knowledge of the CREATOR.  However they did not have a large following as one had to go to it, which was not exported to others.  However, Abraham changed that.

Historians say that a number of the Pharaohs were essentially monotheists.  Not coincidentally, those Pharaohs lived around and after the time of Abraham.  However, his visit to Egypt (Genesis 12) made an impression.  The idea of monotheism took hold in the highest echelons of Egyptian society.  It looked as if they had no way to sell it to the masses because there was a tremendous bureaucracy of idol worship.  Egyptian society remained pagan because the idol worship was so strongly believed and practiced that the Pharaoh himself could not turn it around.  Whether they believed it or not, the priests were not going to give up their profession.

Outside of Egypt, however, Abraham’s name spread rapidly among the masses.  His ideas, character and personality became the talk of the civilized world.  Countless individual families now believed there is a God of creation, morality, and that there was a greater purpose to life.

Family Life
Abraham married Sarai his half sister, who’s name was also changed to Sarah.  “And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her." [Gen 17:16]  EL SHADDAI told Abraham to listen to Sarah — “Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.” [Gen 21:12-13]

Yet, these two great people had a long and difficult life together.  Sarah was barren for many years.  In trying to remedy the situation, Sarah asked Abraham to bear a child for her through her maidservant, Hagar.  Ultimately, the child born from her, Ishmael, caused many problems.  Eventually, GOD told Abraham to banish Hagar and Ishmael from his household, which was extremely difficult for him.

Abraham had a nephew, Lot (Hebrew: Lowt, means covering, veil), whom he hoped would be his heir apparent, but once Lot tasted success he decided to go his own way and settled in Sodom.  Lot is not necessarily an evil person; he just does not want to shoulder any responsibilities – and Sodom is the ideal place for a person who wants to escape responsibility.

Domestic strife in Abraham’s house is omnipresent.  All he wants to do is build civilization through his family and all his family does is fall short of the task or forsake him.

. . . to be continued
Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim — If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath - Come, let us welcome the Bride of the Week, Sabbath of Toldot - “Generations” [Parasha - the appointed reading: Genesis 25:19 - 28:9; Malachi 1:1 – 2:7; Matthew 10:21-38]
May its radiance illumine our hearts as we kindle the candles of Sabbath!  Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe, who made us holy with his commandments and favored us, and gave us His holy Shabbat, in love and favor, to be our heritage, as a reminder of the Creation.  Amen
As you celebrate the day, remember to continually give thanks in all things and to share Sabbath’s sweetness with those around you.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Our most valuable possessions are things money cannot buy.

IN REMEMBRANCE OF YOU
"I thank my GOD upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy." [Philippians 1. 3-4]

"Grace to you and peace from GOD our FATHER and the LORD JESUS CHRIST." [Philemon 1. 3]   We humbly and graciously thank the MOST HIGH GOD for allowing us to have such wonderful, personal CHRIST-like friends all over the world.  Our special, faithful, dedicated friends, family — who have held us up in prayer, encouraged us, laughed with us and at us, lightened burdens, cheered us, refreshed and supported us and our ministry in the service of MESSIAH Y’SHUA.  We are truly richly blessed and owe such a debt to the ALMIGHTY ONE for the treasured gifts HE has given us in each of you.

This is devoted to our beloved family of friends in the LORD OF ALL, the KING OF ISRAEL:  "To the saints and faithful brethren in CHRIST... Grace to you and peace from GOD our FATHER and the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  We give thanks to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, praying always for you... for your faith in JESUS CHRIST and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the GOSPEL, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of GOD in truth." [Colossians 1. 2-6]

And this we pray, "that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of CHRIST, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by JESUS CHRIST, to the glory and praise of GOD." [Philippians 1. 9 - 11]

"Brethren, your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other." [2 Thessalonians 1. 3]  We personally know "of your love and faith which you have toward the LORD JESUS and toward all the saints... and every good thing which is in you in MESSIAH Y’SHUA." [Philemon 1. 4 - 6]  "For this reason we also thank GOD without ceasing, because when you received the WORD OF GOD which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the WORD OF GOD, which also effectively works in you who believe." [1 Thessalonians 2. 13]

May the MIGHTY GOD OF HOSTS keep each of you "steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the LORD." [1 Corinthians 15. 58]  "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.  Let all that you do be done with love." [1 Corinthians 16. 13 - 14]

Precious one, know always that you are cherished, appreciated and loved.  We thank YOU LORD, our MIGHTY & GREAT GOD and praise YOUR GLORIOUS NAME, for each treasured individual YOU have blessed us to share in their lives.  We prayerfully ask YOU, OMNIPRESENT LOVING MASTER, to bless, enrich and strengthen each one as only YOU can.  Watch over each life and bring them closer to YOU as only YOU can.  With thanks and praise. . . Amen, Amen!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim — If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Here are four Jewish insights to unlock the door to gratitude.
1. Give thanks for life itself - Life itself is a gift which we should never take for granted.
2. Strengthen your gratitude muscle - Say thank you three times a day to people who have treated us with kindness.
3. Thank those who had an influence on your life - The Talmud compares teachers to stars.  The TALMUD explains that just as stars are always present even when they cannot be seen, a teacher’s influence continues even when a student can no longer see them.  Give heartfelt thanks for the impact they had on your life.
4. Keep the gratitude flowing - Say thank you to GOD, HE is our constant SOURCE  of blessings.  And, never forget the good done for you by others.
Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving! Our dear friends, we wish you a festive, warm, loving, blazingly bright, and happy Holy Days.  May this season be filled with thanksgiving in your heart shining bright into the lives of those who so desperately need the love, peace and joy that burns brightly in you.
Truly, giving thanks is such a cherished conversation with the PRECIOUS ONE WHO redeemed us, do it every day, you will be continually grateful that you did!  “Give thanks to the LORD, call on HIS NAME; make known among the nations what HE has done.  Sing to HIM, sing praise to HIM; tell of all HIS wonderful acts.  Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is GOD'S will for you in CHRIST JESUS.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18  Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to HIS HOLY NAME.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
One who pursues greatness, greatness will flee from him; one who flees from greatness, greatness will pursue him. [Talmud Eiruvin 13b]

ARROGANT PRIDE
"I constantly spread out MY hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way that is not good, following their own thoughts; a people who provoke ME to anger, who continually to MY face, sacrifice in gardens and burn incense on altars of brick... Who say, 'Keep your distance!  Do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 2 - 3, 5 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

People have not changed over the centuries, societies are filled with those who proclaim they are better, superior, and holier then others, their attitude  clearly marks them.  Similar to the high priests and Levites in MESSIAH’S story of the Good Samaritan, they prefer to walk by the needy rather than stoop to help them.  Even in many churches, such arrogance can be found, and it continues to be a problem.  James warns, "For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place" and say to the poor man — "You stand there" or "Sit here at my footstool" — have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?" [James 2. 2 - 4]

There is a list of things the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD hates recorded in the Book of Proverbs:  "Six things the LORD hates; seven are an abomination to HIM: A haughty (proud) look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart (mind) that devises evil plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who incites (sows) discord (arguments, conflicts, disputes) among brethren." [Proverbs (Mishle) 6. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  Notice, the primary detestable act is "A proud look."  Whenever we are tempted to think we are superior in any way, we need to take our eyes off others and fasten them on our EXALTED SAVIOR, but "we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend (praise) themselves.  But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise." [2 Corinthians 10. 12]

In his pride, Satan (Lucifer) proclaimed —  "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne higher then the stars of GOD; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the summit of Zaphon (the City of the GREAT KING – see Psalms 48.3); I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the MOST HIGH."   However, the MOST HOLY LORD GOD will see that he is "brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 14. 13 - 15 Tanakh, Nevi’im]  The RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will punish the proud because, "Every haughty (proud) person in heart is an abomination to the LORD; assuredly, he will not go unpunished." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LOVING CREATOR GOD gave us the spirit of humility, which is the beginning of true holiness.  "Thus says the HIGH & LOFTY ONE WHO inhabits eternity, WHOSE NAME is HOLY: "I dwell on high in holiness, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, reviving the hearts of the contrite one." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 57. 15 Tanakh, Nevi’im]  "On this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at MY WORD." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 66. 2]  The HOLY ONE is still changing lives today, seek HIM while HE may be found, call upon HIM while HE is near for HE will abundantly pardon.  Follow the LORD Y’SHUA, for the love experience of a lifetime, and then beyond throughout all eternity.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”Eem eshkakhech Yerushalayim—If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
CREATOR of the Universe, we come before YOU to praise and extol YOUR greatness and goodness.  YOU, LORD GOD, are the FOUNTAIN from which all blessings flow.  In all the experiences of life, we recognize that YOUR guiding hand establishes our work and that YOUR love lifts our lives to nobler effort.  Praying that the inspiration of this day strengthen our faith in YOU.  Purify our spirits that in our daily tasks we may be conscious of YOUR PRESENCE.  Continue to bestow YOUR benediction on us and teach us to seek YOU ever more.  Help us to live that when we have gathered our final harvest, many shall rise up with us to magnify and bless YOUR PRECIOUS NAME.
As we enter Rosh Chodesh, we greet the new month of Kislev

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

"Heavenly Father, our cups are running over with Your goodness. Thank You for loving us, for saving us and for keeping us. Please help us to always have a thankful heart. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In the beginning GOD wished to render justice, but when HE observed that the world could not rest on justice, HE rendered mercy. [TALMUD, Rosh ha'Shanah 17]

GOSPEL PREACHED TO THE WORLD
"He who endures to the end shall be saved.  And the GOSPEL of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." [Matthew 24. 12 - 14]

The MOST HIGH GOD OF HEAVEN is faithful in all things.  "There is no other god besides ME, a JUST GOD and a SAVIOR; no god exists besides ME.  Turn to ME, and be saved, all ends of the earth!  For I am GOD, and there is none else." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 21 – 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The SOVEREIGN ETERNAL ONE desires that none be lost, and all come to the knowledge of the truth in saving faith. [1 Timothy 2. 4]  "So HE became their SAVIOR.  In all their troubles HE was afflicted, HIS OWN PRESENCE delivered them; in HIS love and in HIS pity HE redeemed them; and HE bore them and carried them all the days of old." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 63. 8 – 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "The STONE that the builders rejected has become the CHIEF CORNERSTONE.  This was the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our sight." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 22 - 23 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Men were given the privilege of sharing the WONDROUS LIFE-GIVING MESSAGE that whoever believed would be saved.  This GOOD NEWS had gone out from Judea, Samaria, then into the uttermost parts of the world, and continues today.  The HOLY LORD has always had devoted followers with hearts willing to complete the great commission, which is still to "go into all the world and preach the GOSPEL to every creature!" [Mark 16. 15]

The prophets, apostles, disciples, missionaries and modern-day world evangelism thought the WORD had been spread completely by their teaching on radio, internet and television.  However, the ALMIGHTY let it be known that it still is not complete.  As you read the Book of Revelation, you find that GOD HIMSELF will be the ONE to assure the task is complete, for HE shows the way it will be accomplished HIS perfect and complete way.

Two Witnesses:  The FAITHFUL & TRUE, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith affirms: "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lamp stands standing before the God of the earth." [Revelation 11. 3 - 4]  When they finish their testimony, the beast from the bottomless pit will make war on them and kill them, but after three days, the BREATH OF LIFE from GOD will enter them and they will ascend into heaven in a cloud. [Revelation 11. 7 - 14]

144,000 Jewish Witnesses:  The SAVIOR OF OLD has 144,000 un-defiled, virgin Jewish men "who follow the LAMB wherever HE goes.  These were redeemed by MESSIAH from among men being first-fruits to GOD and to the LAMB.  And in their mouth was found no guile, for they are without fault before the Throne of GOD." [Revelation 14. 4 – 5; 7. 1 - 8]

Remnant of the Woman's Seed:  Again in Revelation we see that those who are left behind, will overcome Satan, the Accuser,  by "the blood of the LAMB and by the word of their testimony" for they did not love their lives to the death. [Revelation 12. 11]

Three Angels' Announcement:  "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach to those who dwell on the earth — to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people saying with a loud voice — Fear GOD and give glory to HIM, for the hour of HIS judgment has come; and worship HIM WHO made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water." [Revelation 14. 6 - 7]
"And another angel followed, saying — Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
"Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice — If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of GOD, which is poured out full strength into the cup of HIS indignation.  He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the LAMB." [Revelation 14. 8 - 10]
May each of us be found faithful doing our HEAVENLY FATHER'S business when HE comes... for the crowns we will win, is the souls of men: "Therefore, my beloved and longed - for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the LORD, beloved." [Philippians 4. 1]  "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?  Is it not even you in the presence of our LORD JESUS CHRIST at HIS coming?  For you are our glory and joy." [1 Thessalonians 2. 19 - 20]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life.  Oh, return to HIM with your whole heart.  May each of you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it.  Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight.  May the message of GOD'S PRECIOUS WORD and the love of Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH the SAVIOR bless you and bubble-up in your heart to overflowing. Amen
Beloved brethren, we encourage you to stand firm and confident in the LORD Y’SHUA.  May you be filled with HIS wisdom, knowledge, righteous discernment, and boldness especially as we go forth in the battle against the enemies of our saving faith.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The real and the spiritual are one, like body and soul in a living man.  It is for the law to clear the path; it is for the soul to sense the spirit.

WHICH SHEBA
"The descendants of Ham (son of Noah): Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.  The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtecah. The descendants of Raamah: SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 10. 7 Tanakh, Torah]   This list of Ham's genealogy shows his sons and their families.

"Abraham (a Semite, descendant of Shem) took another wife, named Keturah (after Sarah's death).  She bore him Zimram and Jokshan. Jokshan begot SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Torah]  "Abraham willed all that he owned to Isaac; but to Abraham's sons by concubines Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and he sent them away from his son Isaac EASTWARD, to the land of the EAST." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah]  Consider the names, Sheba and Dedan — they are alike, but the people are separate as well as their ancestry.  The nationalities are completely different.  Hence, the locations of the homeland are either found in Ethiopia, descendants of Ham (which is south of Egypt, and SW of Jerusalem), or Arabia, descendants of Abraham.

When the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon and test his wisdom, she came from the South (Arabia) not from Africa.  The LORD Y’SHUA confirmed this location when HE was teaching and the Scribes and Pharisees demanded of HIM a sign.  MESSIAH affirmed — "the queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ENDS OF THE EARTH to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here." [Matthew 12. 42]  South Arabia is at "the end of the earth (beyond that there is only water)" as it is a peninsula in the Arabian Sea (modern Oman & Yemen).  The "Sheba of Arabia" is an established region of land while the "Sheba of Ethiopia" is part of the Ethiopian people and not a separate geographical location.

Likewise, the exaggerated story that Solomon and the Queen of Sheba had a son together and that the son's descendents later took the Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia simply is "a fable, a legend, a myth" giving favor to the wicked devil and his evil lies and deceits.  HOLY SCRIPTURE records:  "King Solomon, in turn, gave the Queen of Sheba everything she expressed a desire for, exceeding in return for what she had brought to the king. Then she and her courtiers left and returned to her own land." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 9. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many claim and accept an ethnic group of the Ethiopians to be of Jewish descent due to their religious practices.  However, these "acquired customs" were adopted when the world-spread fame of Solomon caused peoples from all nations to seek Solomon's TRUE & LIVING GOD.  As was in the case with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch:  "So he (Philip) arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the Queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning.  And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet." [Acts 8. 27 - 28]  Even long years after Solomon, the whole world knew about the MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL.

Instead of believing everything we hear, we should check out the HOLY SCRIPTURES for ourselves.  Search GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, line-upon-line, compare the TRUE SCRIPTURES and history with the legendary accounts, which are but fables, and myths that you may be able to discern between TRUTH and lies.  Many cults and isms have originated from these errors, so Beware!  "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." [2 Timothy 4. 3 - 4]  Know in WHOM you believe, and live confident in HIS amazing truth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world HE created.  May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed, MOST HOLY ONE, in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time, Amen.  May YOU be blessed forever, even throughout all eternity. May YOU, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you don't know where you are going, you should at least know how you got there.

CURSED FOR DIVIDING
"For lo! in those days and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.  There I will contend with them over MY very own people, Israel, which they scattered among the nations.  For they divided MY Land among themselves and cast lots for MY people." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

How can there be any question as to WHOM the land of Israel belongs, or who is to be in possession of it?  It was given to the Israelites as an "everlasting inheritance" from the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, the KING & RIGHTEOUS JUDGE.  There are numerous SCRIPTURES confirming that the lands of all the earth belong to GOD MOST HIGH.  On the day the LORD GOD "cut the covenant" with Avram (Abraham) the HOLY ONE said — "To your offspring I assign this Land, from the River of Egypt (Nile) to the great river, the River Euphrates." [Genesis (Bereshith) 15. 18 Tanakh, Torah]

Speaking to Moses, the ALMIGHTY ONE said — "if you will obey ME faithfully and keep MY covenant, you shall be MY treasured possession among all the peoples.  Indeed, all the earth is MINE." [Exodus (Shemot) 19. 5 Tanakh, Torah]  "The Land must not be sold beyond reclaim, for the Land is MINE; you are but strangers resident with ME." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 25. 23 Tanakh, Torah]  Moses was even instructed as to the division of the Land among the tribes…"These are the names of the men through whom THE LAND shall be apportioned (divided) as an INHERITANCE FOR YOU: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. And you shall take a leader of each tribe through whom the Land shall be apportioned (divided) for the inheritance." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 34. 16 - 18 Tanakh, Torah]

The ALMIGHTY ONE gives the land to whoever HE chooses: Speaking to Joshua, the LORD GOD said, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you nor forsake you.  Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide, as an inheritance, the Land which I swore to their fathers to assign to them.  But you must be very strong and resolute to observe faithfully all the Teachings that MY servant Moses enjoined upon you.  Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Let not this BOOK OF THE LAW cease from your lips, but recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is written in it.  Only then will you prosper in your undertakings and only then will you be successful." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 5 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them — When you cross the Jordan into the Land of Canaan, you shall DISPOSSESS (drive out) all the inhabitants of the Land; destroy all their engraved objects; you shall destroy all their molded images; and you shall demolish all their cult places.  And you shall take possession of the Land and settle in it, for I have assigned the Land to you to possess.  You shall divide the Land among yourselves by lot, clan by clan, as an inheritance... you shall inherit your portion according to your ancestral tribes." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 33. 51 - 54 Tanakh, Torah]

Although the children of Israel disobeyed the LORD GOD, in HIS mercy, HE will bring them back and give them their inheritance as HE promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  "I give to you and your offspring to come, all the Land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their GOD." [Genesis (Bereshith) 17. 8 Tanakh, Torah]  "As the LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the northland and out of all the lands to which HE had banished them.  For I will bring them back to their Land which I gave to their fathers." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 16. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "For the days are coming — declares the LORD — when I will restore the fortunes of MY people Israel and Judah — said the LORD; and I will bring them back to the Land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 30. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Assuredly, thus says the LORD GOD — I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob and take the whole House of Israel back in love; and I will be zealous for MY HOLY NAME. They will forget their shame and all their trespasses that they committed in being unfaithful to ME, when they dwelt in their own land secure and untroubled.  When I have brought them back from among the peoples and gathered them out of the lands of their enemies and have manifested MY holiness through them in the sight of many nations, they shall know that I the LORD am their GOD when, having exiled them among the nations, I gather them back into their land and leave none of them behind.  I will never again hide MY face from them; for I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon the House of Israel — declares the LORD GOD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 39. 25 - 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Remember, there is a curse on everyone who curses Israel:  "Cursed be they who curse you (Israel); Blessed be they who bless you (Israel)!" [Genesis (Bereshith) 27. 29 Tanakh, Torah]  A wise and understanding heart makes the best judgment.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
The sword comes into the world because of justice being delayed, because of justice being perverted, and because of those who render wrong decisions.
May the MASTER of mercy, show HIS mercy and compassion to all of you, our beloved.
”HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy.  Cause YOUR Truth to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground.  And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Amen”

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A miracle cannot prove what is impossible, it is only to confirm what is possible. [-Maimonides]

SOLOMON'S PRAYER – GOD'S ANSWER
Solomon's focus was on his posture (on his knees with his hands spread); his position (facing the Temple); and the structure he made.  Discern his prayer at the Temple's Dedication:
"Then Solomon, standing before the Altar of the LORD in the presence of all the whole congregation of Israel, spreading forth his hands.  Solomon had made a copper platform and set it in the midst of the Great Court; it was five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high.  He stood on it; then kneeling down on his knees before the whole assembly of Israel, he spread forth his hands toward heaven and said: "O LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, there is no god like YOU in the heavens or on earth, YOU keep YOUR Covenant and mercy with YOUR servants who walk before YOU with all their hearts; YOU have kept the promises YOU made to YOUR servant, my father David; YOU have both spoken with YOUR mouth and fulfilled it with YOUR hand, as it is this day. And now, O LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, keep that promise YOU made YOUR servant, my father David saying — You shall not fail to have a man sit before ME on the throne of Israel if only your children take heed to their way, that they walk in MY Law as you have walked before ME.  Now, LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, let YOUR WORD that YOU made to YOUR servant, my father David, be confirmed."
"Does GOD indeed dwell with men on the earth?  Even heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain YOU; how much less this Temple which I have built!  Yet regard the prayer and supplication of YOUR servant, O LORD my GOD, and listen to the cry and the prayer which YOUR servant offers to YOU.  May YOUR eyes be open toward this Temple day and night, toward the place where YOU said YOU would put YOUR NAME, that YOU may hear the prayer which YOUR servant offers toward this place.  And may YOU hear the supplications of YOUR servant and of YOUR people Israel, when they pray toward this place.  Hear from heaven YOUR Dwelling Abode, and when YOU hear, forgive."
"If anyone sins against his neighbor, and an oath is exacted from him, and comes and takes an oath before YOUR altar in this Temple, then hear from heaven, and act, and judge YOUR servants, bringing retribution on the wicked by bringing his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness."
"Should YOUR people Israel be defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against YOU, and return and confess YOUR NAME, and offer prayer and make supplication before YOU in this Temple, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of YOUR people Israel, and restore them back to the land which YOU gave to them and their fathers."
"When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against YOU, when they pray toward this place and confess YOUR NAME, and turn from their sin because YOU humbled them, then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of YOUR servants, YOUR people Israel, that YOU may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on YOUR land which YOU have given to YOUR people as their heritage.  "So too, if there is a famine in the land, pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts or grasshoppers; when their enemies oppress them in any of their settlements of their land."
"In any plague or whatever sickness there is; whatever prayer or supplication is made by anyone, or by all YOUR people Israel — each one knows his own burden and his own grief — when he spreads out his hands to this House: may YOU hear from heaven YOUR dwelling place, and forgive.  Give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart YOU know — for YOU alone know the hearts of the sons of men — that they may fear YOU, to walk in YOUR ways as long as they live in the land which YOU gave to our fathers."
"Moreover, if a foreigner who is not of YOUR people Israel, who comes from a far country for the sake of YOUR GREAT NAME, YOUR MIGHTY HAND, and YOUR OUTSTRETCHED ARM, when they come and pray toward this House; then hear from Heaven YOUR Dwelling Place, and grant whatever the foreigner appeals to YOU for.  Thus all the peoples of the earth may know YOUR NAME and revere YOU as do YOUR people Israel; and that they may know that YOUR NAME is attached to this Temple that I have built."
"When YOUR people go out to battle against their enemies, wherever YOU send them, and when they pray to YOU toward this City which YOU have chosen and the House which I have built to YOUR NAME, then hear from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and uphold their cause."
"When they sin against YOU — for there is no one who does not sin — and YOU become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to an enemy land, far or near; yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to YOU in the land of their captivity, saying — We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness — and when they return to YOU with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land which YOU gave to their fathers, the City which YOU have chosen, and toward the Temple which I have built for YOUR NAME — may YOU hear their prayer and their supplications in YOUR Heavenly Dwelling, and maintain their cause, and forgive YOUR people who have sinned against YOU."
"Now my GOD, may YOUR eyes be open and let YOUR ears be attentive to the prayer from this place, and now, arise, O LORD GOD, to YOUR resting place, YOU and YOUR Mighty Ark of strength.  Let YOUR priests, O LORD GOD, be clothed with salvation, YOUR saints rejoice in YOUR goodness.  O LORD GOD, do not turn away the face of YOUR ANOINTED; remember the loyalty of YOUR servant David." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 6. 12 - 42 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

GOD'S Answer:
"The LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for MYSELF as a House of Sacrifice.  When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence against MY people, if MY people who are called by MY NAME will HUMBLE THEMSELVES, PRAY and SEEK MY FACE, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  Now MY eyes will be open and MY ears attentive to prayer made in this place.  For now I have chosen and sanctified this House that MY NAME may be there forever; and MY eyes and MY heart will be there forever."
"As for you, if you walk before ME as your father David walked before ME, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep MY statutes and MY judgments, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying — You shall never fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.
"But if you turn away from ME and forsake MY Laws and MY commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will uproot them (Israel) from MY land which I have given them; and this House which I have sanctified for MY NAME I will cast out of MY sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.
"And as for this House, once so exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say — Why has the LORD done thus to this land and this House?  Then they will answer — It is because they forsook the LORD GOD of their fathers WHO brought them up out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods and worshiped them and served them; therefore HE has brought all this calamity on them." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 7. 12 - 22 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Solomon fell into sin and the kingdom was taken from his son. [1 Kings (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 11. 1-13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  The GLORIOUS ONE cast the House that Solomon had made out of HIS sight just as HE said HE would. [2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 36.17–19; Ezra 5.12; 2 Kings/Melakhim Bet 25.8-10]  Years later, for the same reason, GOD scattered HIS people, Israel, throughout all the lands of the earth.  Then in 70 AD, GOD again cast the elaborate Temple Herod made out of HIS sight.  No Temple has been on the site for nearly 2,000 years.

The Tabernacle was only sanctified when the glory of YEHOWAH was present. [Exodus/Shemot 29. 43; Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 43. 5; Haggai/Chagai 2. 7, 9]  Without the LORD'S PRESENCE, it was just an exquisite structure.  GOD, the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY ONE does not care about position, posture, the direction people face, or even the edifice they are standing in when praying.  GOD'S focus is on the heart of the king and of the people and their willingness to obey HIS commands.  Only GODly repentance in sincerity and truth leads to salvation and to life through faith in the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
One makes little progress in history before finally realizing that it is much easier to repeat an error than to correct it. [Historian of Phillip II, volume III, pg. 177]

HOSTS OF HEAVEN
"Then [Micaiah] said, "Indeed, hear now the WORD OF THE LORD! I saw the LORD sitting upon HIS Throne, with all the host of heaven standing in attendance to the right and to the left of HIM." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 18. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Prophet Micaiah (means: who is like GOD) was given this notably remarkable vision, he is the only true prophet at the court of the evil King Ahab of Israel.  Ahab, the evil disgusting king of Israel hated Micaiah and called him “the prophet who prophesied nothing good, only evil” concerning him. [see 2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 18. 17]

There are other various SCRIPTURES that confirm that there certainty are a great host of angels at GOD’S Throne in Heaven.  [see Job/Iyowb 1. 5; Daniel/Danyel 7. 10; Revelation 5. 11]  These are mighty angels and they go forth at the command of the HOLY ALMIGHTY GOD — "Bless the LORD, you HIS angels, who excel in strength, who do HIS bidding, ever heeding the VOICE OF HIS WORD.  Bless the Lord, all you HIS hosts, you ministers of HIS, who do HIS pleasure." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 20 – 21 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  This is especially true in connection with their primary function of "ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation." [Hebrews 1. 14]

As well as the angels, there is another "host of heaven" — the stars which "cannot be numbered." [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 33. 22]  Angels also, like the stars, are said to be "innumerable." [Hebrews 12. 22]  Both hosts (angels & stars) are mentioned in Nehemiah, "YOU alone are the LORD.  YOU made the heaven, the highest heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them.  YOU keep them all alive. the host of heaven prostrate themselves before YOU and worships YOU, LORD GOD." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 9. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Angels are often associated with stars in GOD’S HOLY WRITTEN WORD and are even likened to stars on a number of occasions.  However, a third of the angels "did not keep their proper domain." [Jude 6; Revelation 12. 3 - 9]

Although angels are never to be worshipped [Revelation 22. 8 - 9], Satan, the "anointed cherub" [Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 28. 14], desires to be "like the MOST HIGH GOD" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 14. 14], and he led these now-fallen angels into an immense rebellion against their CREATOR which continues to this day.

It is a definite fact, they have become associated with both the sky-imagers of astrology and the corresponding graven images of paganism.  Paul warned that such idol worship was, in reality, demon worship.  "The things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to GOD." [1 Corinthians 10. 20]  It is this particular "host of heaven" which all devotees of false religions, ancient or currently existing, are really worshipping when they reject the TRUE GOD OF CREATION and put their faith in some feature or expression of the cosmos itself.  The faithful and obedient host of heaven worships the TRUE & LIVING GOD alone, and so must we who are called by HIS PRECIOUS NAME… the NAME that is above all names.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath – Queen of the week! Sabbath of Chayei Sarah – “Life of Sarah” [Parasha-the appointed reading: Genesis 23:1 - 25:18; 1 Kings 1:1-31; John 4:3-14]
Blessed are YOU, LORD our GOD, SOVEREIGN of the Universe, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and favours us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us, a memorial of the act of creation, first of the holy assemblies, a remembrance for perfect peace, perfect rest.  MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed above all.
May you know the joy and happiness that only comes from the righteousness of our LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA.  Our prayers are that  the HOLY ONE be with you this day and always and may your days be lived in peace and truth.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We come into this world with a mission, and at the end, the only question is have we fulfilled it.

HEAVENS OPENED
"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And HE WHO sat on him was called FAITHFUL and TRUE, and in righteousness HE judges and makes war." [Revelation 19. 11]

This is the ultimate zenith in HOLY SCRIPTURE reference to when ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD‘S opened heavens.  At times, such as in this verse, heaven is opened in judgment, other times in blessings.  In some cases in point, it is the atmospheric heaven that is opened, other times it is the heaven of heavens where the Majestic Throne of GOD stands.

The first mention of the heavens being opened happened at an exact time when the RIGHTEOUS ONE brought the world-destroying flood of Noah’s day: "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." [Genesis/Bereshith 7. 11]

The second opening of heaven was quite different, however, as it spoke of a blessing when in the Wilderness, the POWER OF GOD "commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven, and rained down manna upon them for food, and gave them of the bread of heaven.  Men ate angels' food; HE sent them provision in plenty.  HE caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; and drove the south wind by HIS might.  HE also rained meat on them like dust, feathered fowl like the sands of the sea." [Psalms (Tehillym) 78. 23 - 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In view of that we see, the HOLY ONE commanded and the windows of heaven rained down the waters of death; and at the perfect time, the doors of heaven rained down the bread of life!  While in captivity, Ezekiel also saw the heavens opened in judgment and he "saw visions of GOD." [Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 1. 1]   Malachi the prophet was told to "Bring the full tithe into the public storehouse and let there be food in MY House, and thus put ME to test — said the LORD OF HOSTS.  "I will surely open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

When the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA was baptized, the heavens were opened and men heard the great testimony from the HEAVENLY FATHER, saying, "This is MY BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased." [Matthew 3. 16 – 17; also see Mark 1. 10; Luke 3.21]  When Nathanael inquired of the LORD JESUS how HE knew him, HE answered and said to him, "you will see greater things than these... Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of GOD ascending and descending upon the SON OF MAN." [see John 1. 48 – 51]

Stephen and Peter actually saw the heavens open: "But he (Stephen), being full of the HOLY SPIRIT, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of GOD, and JESUS standing at the right hand of GOD, and said, "Look! I see the heavens opened and the SON OF MAN standing at the right hand of GOD!" [Acts 7. 55 – 56]  The Apostle Peter "saw heaven opened" [Acts 10. 11], and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and was let down to the earth… three times, then the object was taken up into heaven again.  On the Isle of Patmos, the Apostle John recounted that he looked "and behold, a door standing open in heaven" [Revelation 4. 1], and he saw the LORD on HIS Throne.

How blessed we are to have these accounts (12 specific references, 4 in the OLD COVENANT. 8 in the NEW) and we have eye-witness evidence of things that were seen.  We too have a promised time awaiting. . .SCRIPTURE gives a glorious account of the heavens opening and rolling up like a scroll [Isaiah/Yeshayah 34. 4], and we as well will see our MAGNIFICENT SAVIOR: "Behold, HE is coming with clouds, and every eye will see HIM, even those who pierced HIM... HE WHO testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen.  Even so, come, LORD JESUS!  The grace of our LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH be with you all. Amen." [Revelation 1. 7; 22. 20 – 21]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
As we affectionately bid farewell to Sabbath, may your week be filled with offering praise and glory to our HEAVENLY KING.
Vital part of the path to glory:  “That I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection, and the fellowship of HIS sufferings, being conformed to HIS death.” Philippians 3:10
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
“Therefore we do not lose heart.  Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.  For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
”May the GOD of all grace, who called us to HIS eternal glory by MESSIAH Y’SHUA, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our MAKER

EZEKIEL'S VISION  (Part 6 - Conclusion)
RESURRECTION & ASCENSION:  "Above the expanse over their heads was the semblance of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and on top, upon this semblance of a throne, there was the semblance of a HUMAN (Manform.  From what appeared as HIS loins up, I saw a gleam as of amber  what looked like a fire encased in a frame; and from what appeared as HIS loins down, I saw what looked like fire.  There was a radiance all about HIM." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El1. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Suddenly Ezekiel was transported above the firmament where he saw a throne, and sitting on that throne was a MAN.  From the scene of death in verse 25, Ezekiel was ushered into an exalted setting.  His vision had clearly taken him through the resurrection of the LORD JESUS and HIS ascension into Heaven, for Ezekiel now saw KING Y’SHUA sitting on a throne.  Y’SHUA, the LORD ETERNALtoday is "seated at the right hand of power far above all principality and power and might and dominion" [Ephesians 1. 20 - 21] waiting to return to this earth as the VICTORIOUS KING OF GLORY.  The RIGHTEOUS MESSIAHpresent ministry is that of INTERCESSOR (ADVOCATE) with the FATHER on behalf of the Saints. [1 John 2. 1]

In verses 26 thru 28, Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is described in all of HIS glory being the exalted KING and MAJESTIC RULER OF HEAVEN & EARTH.  The brilliance of HIS HOLINESS is pictured here in Ezekiel just as it is in Revelation 1:13-16 where Y’SHUA is shown as having the same glory as the HEAVENLY FATHER seated on the throne.  Revelation shows the scene of THE THRONE and the ONE seated on the throne surrounded by an emerald rainbow (depicting Eternal Life "Immediately I was in the SPIRIT; and behold, a Throne set in Heaven, and ONE sat on the Throne.  And HWHO sat there was like a Jasper and a Sardis stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the Throne, in appearance like an emerald." [Revelation 4. 2 - 3]  The LORD Y’SHUA is the PERFECT BLAMELESS LAMB WHO takes the scroll from the hand of the ONE seated on the Throne. [Revelation 5. 5 - 7]

"Like the appearance of the bow which shines in the clouds on a day of rain, such was the appearance of the surrounding radiance.  That was the appearance of the semblance of the PRESENCE OF THE LORD.  When I beheld it, I flung myself down on my face and I heard the VOICE of ONE speaking." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El1. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The appearance of the bow which shines in the clouds on a day of rain" would be the Rainbow round about the Throne.  The rainbow was a pledge of ELOHIYMfaithfulness to HIS COVENANTS.  "I have set Mbow in the clouds, and it shall serve as a sign of the Covenant between ME and the earth." [Genesis (Bereshith9. 13 Tanakh, Torah]  The ALMIGHTY BLESSED ONE sits upon the Throne. . . splendid, dazzling, and terrible; but encompassed about by the Covenant of Grace.

Ezekiel's response to what he saw is instructive for us today.  Ezekiel saw the glory of his ESHADDAI, how impressive his OMNIPOTENT GOD is, and he could respond in only one way... he fell on his face.  In submission and humility, Ezekiel prostrated himself before the AWESOME LORD GOD, CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE.  Down through the centuries, this has been the only possible response for all men and women who have plain and genuinely seen the glory of YEHOWAH in the risen LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Throughout the pages of HOLY SCRIPTUREwe are shown the impressiveness of the HOLY ANOINTED ONE .  In Ezekiel 1, we are given an overview of HIS entire life and ministry.  The BELOVED Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH came from Heaven to earth.  His the GOD/MAN, Hwalked a perfect walk in obedience to the FATHER.  The LORD JESUS is the blessed forever REDEEMER  SAVIOR  KING WHO will return as the LORD OF GLORY.  The ANOINTED ONE died for our sins, but arose jubilantly victorious over death and is now seated at the right hand of the OMNIPOTENT FATHER GOD.  Anyone who sees the LOVING MESSIAH, the LORD JESUS CHRIST OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES cannot help but willingly fall in submission before HIM.

Ultimately, Ezekiel "heard the VOICE OF ONE that spoke." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El1. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  There is a natural progression:  Ezekiel saw  fell  heard.   It is crucial that when a person fully sees and comprehends the incomparable greatness of JESUS OF NAZARETH, he will fall before the LORD and respond to MESSIAH'leading.  Ezekiel was asked to do some strange things during his life [Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 4. 1-6], but he never questioned his HEAVENLY FATHER, the ALMIGHTY OMNIPRESENT GOD... Ezekiel was obedient!

When you see the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH of the HOLY SCRIPTURES, you will also experience how great and impressive Hassuredly is.  Now, you will want to do whatever Hasks of you!  First, the LORD Y’SHUA requires you to accept HIM personally as your only SAVIOR, REDEEMER & LORD. . . then to follow HIM in obedience to HIS teachings as it is written in HIS HOLY WRITTEN WORD.  Then, when you understand how absolutely, thoroughly, unconditionally remarkably great the LORD JESUS is, it won't be difficult to accept and follow the GLORIOUS MASTER implicitly.  Amen!  What a WONDERFUL SAVIOR His!  Hallelu'YAH! such amazing love!

Sha’alu (Prayfor the Shalom (Peaceof Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
The LORD shall yet comfort Zion and shall choose Jerusalem.  The wise serve the LORD OF GLORY out of their great love for HIM, in reverent fear.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We make our future by the best use of the present.

EZEKIEL'S VISION  (Part 5 of 6)
LED BY THE SPIRIT:  "And when the Creatures moved forward, the wheels moved at their sides; and when the Creatures were borne above the earth, the wheels were borne too.  Wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, they went — wherever the SPIRIT impelled them — and the wheels were borne alongside them; for the SPIRIT OF THE CREATURES was in the wheels.  When those moved, these moved; when those stood still, these stood still; and when those were borne above the earth, the wheels were borne alongside them - for the SPIRIT of the Creatures was in the wheels." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 19 - 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The ministry of the LORD JESUS displayed the truth of these verses.  As MESSIAH Y’SHUA walked on this earth, HE was led in all things by the SPIRIT OF GOD.  This reality in HIS life is shown from the very beginning of HIS ministry:  "Then JESUS was led up by the SPIRIT into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil." [Matthew 4. 1]

DEATH OF MESSIAH (Foreshadowed): "Above the heads of the CREATURES was a form, an expanse, with an awe-inspiring gleam as of crystal was spread out above their heads.  Under the expanse, each had one pair of wings extended toward those of the others; and each had another pair covering its body.  When they moved, I could hear the sound of their wings like the sound of mighty waters, like the sound of SHADDAI (THE ALMIGHTY ONE) a tumult like the sound of an army.  When they stood still, they would let their wings droop.  From above the expanse over their heads came a sound.  When they stood still, they would let their wings droop." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 22 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When ELOHIYM created the universe, HE said there was to be "a firmament, an expanse, in the midst of the water, that it may separate water from water." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 6 Tanakh, Torah]  After the creation of the firmament, CREATOR GOD "called the expanse, Sky (Heaven)." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 8 Tanakh, Torah]  Over the LIVING CREATURES was a firmament or expanse.  The LORD JESUS performed HIS ministry under Heaven… on the earth.  HE walked and talked as no man had ever done.   After Y’SHUA had calmed the wind and the waves, the disciples marveled, saying, "WHO can this be? that even the winds and the sea obey HIM?" [Matthew 8. 27]  It was said of JESUS — "No man ever spoke like this MAN." [John 7. 46]  The uniqueness of the LORD MESSIAH is captured when the sound of the CREATURES' wings is said to be "like the sound of mighty waters of SHADDAI, the ALMIGHTY — a tumult like the din of an army." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  The LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH was unique because HE IS GOD IN HUMAN FLESH.

A climactic point is reached at this place in the chapter.  Wings have pictured the protection of the ALMIGHTY ONE but the next two verses state, "when they stood still, they would let their wings droop (let down their wings)." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 24 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD Y’SHUA, the HOLY ANOINTED ONE promised, "If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all peoples to MYSELF." [John 12. 32]  The LIVING CREATURES STOOD STILL. . . JESUS went to the cross.  It was at that time, and at that time only in the life of Y’SHUA that the wings of GOD'S protection were let down.  The depravity and filth of sin of all mankind were placed on HIM at Golgotha’s Calvary.   In fulfillment of the prophecy, "MY GOD, MY GOD, why have YOU abandoned ME?  Why so far from delivering ME and from MY anguished roaring?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  JESUS, the CHRIST OF CALVARY cried out at that time — "ELI, ELI, lama sabachthani , that is — MY GOD, MY GOD, why have YOU forsaken ME?" [Matthew 27. 46]   The crowning moment of HIS ministry was coming, but first HE had to endure the crucifixion.  Y’SHUA had to suffer, abandoned by GOD THE FATHER.  However, the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH would soon rise as SOVEREIGN GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.

...to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers, that our long-awaited MESSIAH Y’SHUA, the SON OF DAVID, KING of kings comes quickly.  And, may HIS Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day, Amen!  May you be blessed with love, hope, health, wisdom and GOD’S incredibly amazing grace as you seek HIM.
Our WONDERFUL SAVIOR is coming very soon, signs are all around us, lift up your eyes and behold our MAGNIFICENT REDEEMER.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
No matter how great the loss, this faith of ours always remains.

EZEKIEL'S VISION  (Part 4 of 6)
WHEELS & FIRE:  "Such then was the appearance of the LIVING CREATURES, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like torches.  Fire was moving about among the living creatures; the fire had a radiance, and lightning issued from it.  And the LIVING CREATURES ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.  As I gazed on the LIVING CREATURES, I saw one wheel on the earth next to each of the Four-Faced CREATURES.  As for the appearance and structure of the wheels, they gleamed like beryl.  All four had the same likeness; the appearance and structure of each was as of two wheels cutting through each other — a wheel in the middle of a wheel.  And when they moved, each could move in any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they moved.  Their rims were so tall they were frightening; for the rims of all four were covered all over with eyes." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 13 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LIVING CREATURES are presented as having the appearance of burning coals of fire and torches.  The NEW COVENANT tells us that "Our GOD is a CONSUMING FIRE." [Hebrews 12. 29]  The OLD COVENANT, David said: "The LORD is my LIGHT." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  MESSIAH Y’SHUA, when addressing the Pharisees stated emphatically that HE is "The LIGHT OF THE WORLD." [John 8. 12]  The FIRE and the LIGHT went up and down around the creatures.  The LORD JESUS is "the BRIGHTNESS of HIS (the FATHER'S) glory and the EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON." [Hebrews 1. 3]  Our MIGHTY GOD is a CONSUMING FIRE and the ETERNAL LIGHT.

The LIVING CREATURES "ran and returned."  To return to a place, one has to have been there before.   At the beginning of this age, the SON OF GOD stepped down from Heaven and for 33 years lived on this planet.   As the LORD Y’SHUA was leaving Har ha'Zeitim (Mount of Olives) to return to Heaven, an angelic messenger made the promise, "This same JESUS, WHO was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw HIM go into heaven." [Acts 1. 11]   Ezekiel portrays the return of KING JESUS when it stated that the LIVING CREATURES "returned like the appearance of a flash of lightning." [v. 14]  Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH HIMSELF stated, "as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the SON OF MAN be." [Matthew 24. 27]

There is a vivid description of the wheels which symbolism declares a basic truth about the person of the LORD Y’SHUA.  Speaking of the birth of the MESSIAH in Beit’Lehem, Micah said, "(THE ONE) WHOSE origin is from of old, from ancient times." [Micah (Michah) 5. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   Y’SHUA is the EXALTED LORD, HE is Eternal!  JESUS is GOD EVERLASTING.  The "likeness" represented by the "wheel upon the earth" is the GOD/MAN.  "A wheel in the middle of a wheel" represents the truth of the incarnate SON in-dwelt by the SPIRIT OF YEHOWAH for power in HIS ministry.

The rim of the wheels being tall and frightening speak of the majestic, awesome greatness of the PERSONAGE of CHRIST JESUS.  The eyes around the rims speak of HIS omniscience; HE sees all, including the thoughts and intents of the heart.  JESUS is the WONDROUS LORD and is to be feared and worshiped.

The wheels also speak of the power of the HOLY SPIRIT united with the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA.  "And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the Throne and the four LIVING CREATURES, and in the midst of the elders, stood a LAMB as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven SPIRITS OF GOD sent out into all the earth." [Revelation 5. 6]  Zechariah declares that "those seven are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to-and-fro ranging over the whole earth." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 4. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Ultimately, the Book of Revelation concludes in telling of the "Four LIVING CREATURES full of eyes in front and in back.  The first LIVING CREATURE was like a LION, the second LIVING CREATURE like a CALF, the third LIVING CREATURE had a face like a MAN, and the fourth LIVING CREATURE was like a flying EAGLE.  The four LIVING CREATURES, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within.  And they do not rest day or night, saying — "Holy! Holy! Holy! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO was and is and is to come!" [Revelation 4. 6 - 8]

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
YOURS, O LORD, is the greatness and the power, the glory and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and in the earth are YOURS; YOURS is the Kingdom, O LORD, and YOU are exalted as head above all.  Praised be the LORD to WHOM all praise is due for ever and ever!  Praised be YOU, O LORD our GOD, RULER of the world, WHO has chosen us from among all peoples and has given us YOUR Law.  Thank YOU for redeeming us, forgiving us, and cleansing us from all our sins. Let us not be moved from YOUR path of righteousness we pray, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Words have the power to destroy or to create.  So be careful what you say, like lethal weapons, words can become involuntary manslaughter.

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 3 of 6)
HIS PERSON & WORK:  "Each of them had a Human face (at the front); each of the four had a face of a Lion on the right; each of the four had the face of an Ox on the left; and each of the four had the face of an Eagle (at the back)." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In studying the life of the LORD Y’SHUA, we must look at the Four GOSPELS: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  Each GOSPEL sets a different and distinct light of the life and ministry of our BLESSED REDEEMER; and when taken together, they present a complete picture of HIM.  The GOSPELS reveal the meaning of Ezekiel's creatures and their Four Faces. . .

The GOSPEL of Matthew was written to the Jewish people and proclaimed Y’SHUA as their KING; HE is the MESSIAH, the ANOINTED RULER.  The genealogy given in Matthew 1, shows that JESUS was in the royal line of King David through HIS legal father, Joseph.  The book of Matthew portray Messiah Y’SHUA as King, the LION.

Mark's GOSPEL presents Y’SHUA as a SERVANT.  There is no genealogy of JESUS given in Mark because no one would be interested in the lineage of a servant.  The face of the Ox accurately pictures the truth of the LORD Y’SHUA as a SERVANT.

Luke declares that the LORD Y’ESHUA is the PERFECT MAN and gives another genealogy tracing HIM back through HIS Mother, Miryam (Mary); and her, from Adam, the first man.  There would definitely be great interest in the genealogy of a PERFECT MAN.  Therefore, there is no better choice to portray Y’SHUA as a MAN than the face of a MAN.

John shows the CHRIST JESUS' DEITY, the SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD.  The genealogy that John presents begins and ends with the ALMIGHTY OMNIPOTENT CREATOR — "no beginning or ending" — HE has always been.   The fourth face is that of an EAGLE, which perfectly represents John's teaching that MESSIAH Y’SHUA is the HOLY ETERNAL ONE.  [How interesting…the eagle is "king of the birds" — the most feared enemy of the snake (also Satan)].

The verse states, "the four had...the face of a LION on the right side; the face of an OX on the left side." Two sides make up a whole.  The two-fold ministry of the LORD Y’SHUA is portrayed in the GOSPELS of Matthew and Mark:  JESUS came first as a SERVANT, and will one day return as the SOVEREIGN KING.  HE came the first time as the LAMB OF GOD to die. . . and HE will return as the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH to reign forevermore.

DIRECTION & DELIVERANCE:  "Such were their faces. As for their wings, they were separated: Above, each had two touching those of the others, while the other two covered its body. And each could move in the direction of any of its faces; they went wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, without turning, when they moved." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The wings stretched upward" speaks of our SAVIOR'S confident reliance upon ELOHEY.  "The wings covering the creatures" speak of the ALMIGHTY’S complete protection.  Two phrases repeated throughout the remainder of the chapter, "they went every one straight forward" and "wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, they went" — tell of the one direction and purpose the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH had in HIS life.  HE went wherever the "SPIRIT OF YAH" led HIM.  In all HIS entire life, the ANOINTED ONE never veered from the course that was set before HIM.

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
We bid farewell to Shabbat with the Havdallah Service. Havdallah (separation) is the ceremony that marks the symbolic end of the holy day of Shabbat and ushers in a new week. The ceremony, consisting of lighting the special candle, blessing the wine, and smelling the spices, is intended to require a person to use all five senses taste the wine, smell the spices, see the flames of the candle and feel its warmth, and hear the blessings.  After the ceremony, it is customary to say together: “Thus we celebrate the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL WHO separates the sacred from the mundane and forgives our sins.  May it be YOUR will, O LORD, that our home becomes a sanctuary worthy of YOUR PRESENCE, wherein YOUR HOLY NAME is hallowed, that YOU come and grant YOUR blessings on us! Amen”
The CREATOR, PRESERVER and HEIR of the Universe has once for all made purification of man’s sin and gave him eternal salvation.  So, encourage one another.  Even, so much the more, as you see the DAY OF MESSIAH'S imminent return nearing.  For infinite is HIS mighty power, HIS ineffable (inexpressible, beyond words) glory, even so is HIS glorious love. HalleluYAH!
Grace be with you each day of the new week.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Visit the ill out of responsibility, the person out of love.

EZEKIEL'S VISION  (Part 1 of 6)
Chapter 1 of Ezekiel can be understood as you notice two things:  The words like and likeness are used 16 times in this one chapter, clearly showing that the passage is a picture or illustration of something; and that Ezekiel saw a vision of HOLY GOD.  This fact is apparent from the first and last verses, "The heavens opened and I saw visions of ELOHIYM." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "...that was the appearance of the semblance of the PRESENCE OF THE LORD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The Glory of the LORD has been manifested in many ways: "The WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, full of grace and truth." [John 1. 14]   Ezekiel saw the glory of the FATHER in the PERSON of HIS SON, JESUS.  From this vision, John described for us the Life, Person and Ministry of the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH.

TIME & PLACE OF THE VISION:  "In the thirtieth year (possibly the 30th year of captivity, since Israelites had begun to be carried away to Babylon during the reign of Manasseh), on the fifth day of the fourth month, when I was in the community of exiles by the Chebar Canal, the heavens opened and I saw visions of GOD.  On the fifth day of the month — it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin — the WORD OF THE LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, by the Chebar Canal, in the land of the Chaldeans.  And the hand of the LORD came upon him there." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

These verses introduce Ezekiel the priest.  The time is around 593 BC/BCE, seven years before Jerusalem was captured by Babylon .  Ezekiel is in captivity and is standing at the River Chebar where he receives "a vision of ELOHIYM." {This awe-inspiring vision unfolds for us in verses 4 – 28}

FIRST COMING:  "I looked, and lo, a stormy wind came sweeping out of the North — a huge cloud and flashing fire, surrounded by a radiance; and in the center of it, in the center of the fire, a gleam as of amber." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Immediately Ezekiel looked and saw ONE coming from the North.  The terminology in this verse has been used before to speak of ELOHIYM and HIS PRESENCE (KABOD/GLORY).  The ALMIGHTY spoke to Job "out of the whirlwind." [Job/Iyowb 38. 1]  During the wilderness wanderings, the HOLY LORD GOD revealed HIMSELF to the people of Israel through the Tabernacle worship and HE led them through the movement of a CLOUD by day and a FIRE by night. [Exodus/Shemot 40. 34 - 38]

Also, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL indicated that HIS dwelling place is in the North part of the universe, "For what lifts a man comes not from the east, or the west, or from the south for ELOHIYM is HE WHO gives judgment; HE brings down one man, HE lifts up another." [Psalms (Tehillym) 75. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   These verses seem to confirm the truth that our LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH came from the "North" — from Heaven — when HE became MAN . . . DEITY took on the form of man clothed in flesh.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
We greet, salute, and encourage each saint in the LORD JESUS CHRIST keeping you always in our prayers.  Remember, life's challenges work out for the best, when we recognize what appear to be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better.  We realize that all things come from the invisible hand of GOD OMNIPOTENT that guides our life. May HIS grace be with you.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Silence is a fence for wisdom. [Pirkei Avot 3:13]

EZEKIEL'S VISION  (Part 2 of 6)
MAN or BEAST:  "Out of the midst of it came the likeness of FOUR LIVING CREATURES. And this was their appearance: They had the figures of a man.  However, each had four faces, and each of them had four wings; the legs of each were (fused into) a single rigid leg, and the feet of each were like a single calf's hoof, cleft in front, and their sparkle was like the luster of burnished copper.  They had human hands below their wings.  The four of them had their faces and their wings on their four sides.  Each one's wings touched those of the other.  They did not turn when they moved, each could move in the direction of any of its faces." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The creatures are symbolic of a Man — then it continues to describe various aspects of the Creatures... wings, hands, and feet are mentioned.   Each characteristic is picturesque in its illustration of the ONE WHO is GOD and became MAN.  This is crucial (important, extremely necessary) to understanding the chapter.

In this chapter, wings are seen covering, joined, pointed up-or-down, and described in a number of different ways.  The many uses of wings illustrate ALMIGHTY GOD'S care and protection.  "HE will cover you with HIS feathers; you will find refuge under HIS wings." [Psalms (Tehillym) 91. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  These creatures have wings covering their bodies, picturing protection.  MESSIAH Y’SHUA, in HIS earthly ministry, was cared for and protected by the MIGHTY OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN.

Their straight feet picture legs without joints, the feet could go in only one direction.  As is recorded: "Survey the course you take, and all your ways will prosper.  Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your feet from evil." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  This is a counsel to believers to walk in straight paths; but, the passage also is characteristic of the earthly walk of MESSIAH Y’SHUA.  The LORD JESUS always went in the direction HIS FATHER had laid out for HIM.  HE did not turn to the left or the right, but was perfect in all HIS ways.

The sole of the creatures feet was "like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like the color of burnished copper."  The LORD Y’SHUA came first as the "LAMB OF GOD" [John 1. 29], and someday soon, HE will return as the "LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH." [Revelation 5. 5]  The calf's foot speaks of HIS "first coming" as the SAVIOR of the world.  In HOLY SCRIPTURE, copper indicates judgment and speaks of HIS "second coming" as the SOVEREIGN JUDGE.

The hands under the wings speak of the accomplishment of CHRIST JESUS' ministry as a the perfect SON OF MAN.  HE was protected and guided by FATHER GOD, but voluntarily limited HIMSELF in HIS earthly ministry to that which HIS humanity would permit.  Verses five-thru-nine therefore speak of THE ONE WHO came from Heaven, took on flesh, was led by the SPIRIT OF GOD, walked a perfect path, and is both SAVIOR and SOVEREIGN LORD & KING.

. . .to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath!  Come, let us welcome the Bride of the Week... may its radiance illumine our hearts as we kindle the candles of Sabbath!  The reading for this Sabbath Day is Vayera - “And He Appeared” [Genesis 18:1 - 22:24; 2 Kings 4:1-37; Luke 17:28-37]
Light is the symbol of the DIVINE, the LORD is my LIGHT and my SALVATION.
Light is the symbol of the DIVINE in man; the spirit of man is the light of the LORD.
Light is the symbol of the DIVINE Law, for the commandment is a Lamp and the Law is a Light.
Light is the symbol of Israel's mission. I, the LORD, have set you for a covenant of the people, for a light to the nations.
As you celebrate the day, remember to continually give thanks in all things and share Sabbath’s sweetness with those around you.

Post  Admin on Thu 14 Nov 2019, 12:47 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you cannot endure the bad, you'll not live to witness the good.

COMFORT MY PEOPLE
"My life was bereft of peace; I have forgotten prosperity and what happiness was.  I thought my strength and my hope had perished from the LORD.  To recall my distress and my misery was wormwood and poison; whenever I thought of them, I was bowed low." [Lamentations (Eicha) 3. 17 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Jeremiah's heart is in agonizing struggle and again mourns, "YOU have screened YOURSELF off with a cloud that no prayer may pass through.  YOU have made us filth and refuse in the midst of the peoples.  All our enemies loudly rail against us.  Panic and pitfall, death and destruction are our lot.  My foes have snared me like a bird, without any cause.  They have ended my life in a pit and cast stones at me, waters flowed over my head; I said — I am lost!" [Lamentations (Eicha) 3. 44 - 46; 52 - 54 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Again today Israel is on a desert road with sufferings at every turn.  GOD ALMIGHTY, however, often proves HIS love for us exactly when HE seems to be hard towards us.  There is so much we can learn in HIS paths of chastening.  In trouble and suffering and when HIS chastening hand is upon us, we can come to know the HOLY ONE as our LOVING FATHER more then any other time.  Accepting HIS chastening is like a key unlocking the HEAVENLY FATHER'S heart with all HIS blessings and kindness.  We will find that afterwards HE will shower us all the more with an abundance of good things.  And GOD HIMSELF will be glorified if we follow HIS leading wholeheartedly.

Our HOLY GOD, the COMMANDER OF THE LORD’S ARMY, will provide a way of deliverance, for HIS hand is not too short to save nor HIS ear too dull to hear when HIS children cry to HIM. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 59. 1]  HE will not desert HIS people, nor will HE abandon them to their enemies.

"As I live — declares the LORD GOD — I will reign over you with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will rule over you.  With a strong hand and an outstretched arm and overflowing fury I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered, and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples; and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 20. 33 - 35 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"When you call ME and come and pray to ME, I will give heed to you.  You will search for ME and find ME, if only you seek ME wholeheartedly.  I will be at hand for you — declares the LORD — and I will restore your fortunes.  And I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places to which I have banished you — declares the LORD — and I will bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 29. 12 - 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"I will exchange their (the remnant of Israel) disgrace for praise and fame in all the earth.  At that time I will gather you, and at that time I will bring you home; for I will make you renowned and famous among all the peoples on earth, when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes — said the LORD." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 19 - 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "Your GOD the LORD is in your midst, the MIGHTY ONE WHO brings triumph.  HE will rejoice over you and be glad, HE will shout over you with jubilation, HE will quiet you with HIS renewed love as in the days of old, HE will rejoice over you with singing." [Zephaniah (T’sefanyah) 3. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The steadfast love of the BLESSED CREATOR & REDEEMER never ceases, nor has it ceased for Israel today.  The present darkness of this world will not last forever.  Mankind awaits the coming RIGHTEOUS KING WHO will make all things new.  From the moment our LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH returns, HIS glorious righteousness will shine into all nations and they will share in the blessings and peace of HIS Glorious Kingdom as well.  Through it all, HE will uphold us with HIS righteous right hand, how can we help but totally trust such faithfulness!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5

We offer YOU, our ETERNAL GOD, thanks and praise as we glorify YOUR NAME.  Happy are we who praise YOU and declare YOUR holiness early and late, morning and evening — Hear, O Israel!  the LORD our GOD, the LORD is ONE.  Blessed be HIS NAME, WHOSE glorious Kingdom is for ever and ever.
Today, sirens are sounding across the country as rockets are being fired at Israel from Gaza.  For the first time since 2014, the IDF has ordered the closure of schools and businesses from the Gaza region until Tel Aviv.  The IDF is preparing for heavy rocket fire and further military action.  Israelis have been warned to remain in close proximity to bomb shelters.  We call on our brothers and sisters around the world to PRAY FOR ISRAEL.  Please pray for the safety and security of the People of Israel and for the military success of the IDF.

Post  Admin on Tue 12 Nov 2019, 1:16 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Worry does not empty tomorrows struggles — it empties your strength for today.

LESSONS LEARNED
"Go and learn what this means — I desire mercy and not sacrifice.  For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." [Matthew 9. 13)

The LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH "came into the world to save sinners" [1 Timothy 1. 15], and continues to call all who would be HIS disciples to "learn from [and of] ME" [Matthew 11. 29]; and the text contains the first use of "learn" in the NEW COVENANT, thus signifying a basic item we must learn when we become true followers of the SAVIOR.

MESSIAH stressed that the ALMIGHTY ONE cared nothing about the ritualistic offering of animal sacrifices, as such, but rather desired understanding of the meaning of those sacrifices, accompanied by the motivating love and faith of a repentant heart.  HE referred them back to their own SCRIPTURES:  "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice; obedience to GOD, rather than burnt offerings." [Hoses (Hoshea) 6. 6 Tanakh, Nevi’im]  This is generally difficult, but it is the most crucial fundamental lesson to learn by one seeking forgiveness and salvation.

There are continually many lessons to learn afterwards — most will be difficult even for sincere, believing CHRISTians.  The Apostle Paul comments about one of them he had learned the hard way,  "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content." [Philippians 4. 11]  Another intricate but very essential lesson has to do with the CHRISTian humility in leadership, understanding the WRITTEN WORD — "that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other." [1 Corinthians 4. 6]  Because, "all SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." [2 Timothy 3. 16 - 17]

Even in HIS perfect humanity, the LORD Y’SHUA had lessons to learn — "though HE was a SON, yet HE learned obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 8]

Ultimately, having learned these and many other such lessons, we must not forget them.  Paul, in his final letter, so reminds us to — "continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from WHOM you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in CHRIST JESUS." [2 Timothy 3. 14 - 15]  May we learn and be able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
”If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
When things around you appear dark and terrifying, hold on to the promises of LORD GOD.  HE is in complete control.  "The ROCK!  — HIS deeds are perfect; Yes! all HIS ways are just; a FAITHFUL GOD, never false, true and just is HE." [Deuteronomy/Devarim 32. 4]  Great and mighty is our MERCIFUL & LOVING GOD.  Believe on Y’SHUA, the LOVING SAVIOR, for because of HIM we can face tomorrow and be comforted now knowing we have been changed for a reason, transformed, not for a season, but transformed for Eternal Life.
A special “Thank you” to all who served this country, our prayer is that each of you and your descendants know the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN personally.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
