You don’t . . . at least not yet.

But if the policies set in place by Barack Obama stand, by 2025, the next time you buy a new vehicle, you may be forced to drive away in a tiny, unsafe and expensive “Obamacar.”

That can all change within the next 60 days if you act now.

The Trump administration has opened up the public comment process on a rule that would freeze the ridiculous fuel efficiency standards set in place by the Obama Administration.

As it stands, automakers will be forced to churn out cars and trucks that get 54 miles per gallon by 2025.

That means new car options will be reduced to European-like cars that are small, underpowered and inherently unsafe.

My group, American Commitment, is rallying Americans across the nation to add their voice to the public comment process by sending letters to the Federal Register before the docket closes.

We have 60 days to make this happen and I ask that you add your voice now.

If this policy does not change, the price of a new car is expected to go up by at least $3,000 while safety and options plummet.

Liberal environmentalists have been working for years to get their way, harming American families and businesses based upon junk science.

It’s our chance to finally beat them on this issue, but it takes you and others to add your name to the docket in support of what we’re calling Trump’s “Freedom to Drive Rule.”

The proposed policy by the Trump Administration freezes fuel efficiency standards at current levels, without doing any further harm to the economy or our personal freedoms.

But liberal environmentalists are screaming over the change and have pledged millions of dollars to fight it.

Help Us Fight Big Tech Censorship!



Big tech companies are using their power and influence to censor the conservative voice. ACT for America has experienced this first hand over the last few weeks.


First, YouTube removed an ACT for America video that dated all the way back to 2012 - in the process of removing the video, YouTube applied a "strike" to our account. If an account receives three strikes in a 90-day period, the account is expelled from YouTube. This is problematic because YouTube is the ONLY major platform to share videos from and if ACT for America were to lose our YouTube channel - we would be at a serious disadvantage to other organizations.


Most recently, I called Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, the terrorist who was just charged for training young children in New Mexico to shoot up schools, "sick and depraved." Calling a terrorist who takes pleasure in training young children to kill people "sick and depraved" should not be controversial. However, Facebook did not agree. Within just a few hours of posting about the accused terrorist, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, my account was suspended for 24 hours for violating Facebook's policy regarding "hate speech." Yes, that's right - I was suspended from Facebook for calling a terrorist "sick and depraved."
 
Fortunately, Twitter did not find my post to violate their hate speech policies - you can take a look at my post below:


That's the reality we live in right now with big tech companies. Kathy Griffin can pose with a decapitated head of our President and receive no punishment, but if I call a terrorist sick and depraved I get suspended for hate speech. These Orwellian "hate speech" policies are being implemented with the explicit purpose to silence conservative voices.

Rest in Peace Mollie

Dear Elaine,

ACT for America stands with the Tibbetts family in mourning the loss of their precious, 20-year-old daughter, Mollie Tibbetts. Mollie, who disappeared while jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa, had her entire life ahead of her.

 
A young student, with dreams of graduating from the University of Iowa, is now permanently separated from her family. Iowa police officials believe Christhian Rivera is responsible for the death of Mollie.

Christhian Rivera, is not a US citizen. In fact, he is a criminal illegal alien who had no business living within our borders. Mollie's tragic death is yet another direct result of failed immigration policies that Congress has purposely ignored to fix over the last several decades.

We are calling on Congress to finally, once-and-for-all secure our borders and enforce strict immigration policies that put the safety and security of American families first. Enough gridlock, enough partisan politics. This is a matter of life and death.

Senator Rand Paul (R, KY) is seeking to alter the US-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act. By doing so, he is jeopardizing both Israel and the US.

The US-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2018 (S. 2497) is a bipartisan bill that seeks to ensure Israel has the military means required to defend itself, by itself, against a range of looming threats.

The legislation supports full funding of security assistance to Israel as outlined in the historic 2016 US-Israel Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on security assistance.

Facing constant threats on its borders, Israel is forced to spend more on defense, based on percentage of its GDP, than any other nation in the industrialized world.

Israelis Under Attack - Donate
This bipartisan bill supports $3.3 billion in security assistance to Israel and $500 million in cooperative missile defense funding in the fiscal year 2019.

Annual security assistance to Israel is the most tangible manifestation of American support for the Jewish state.

However, Paul is seeking to amend the bill and gradually decrease US aid to Israel over the next decade, until it is completely gone.

This is clearly harmful to Israel’s security as well as to that of the US, which reaps the benefits of Israel’s achievements in the spheres of security development and technology that are funded by the bill.

Moreover, the vast majority of the security assistance is spent purchasing American products, and therefore the aid is essentially an investment in the US economy.

Paul aims to ensure that US taxpayer dollars are spent astutely, which is commendable. However, there is no wiser foreign aid investment than American aid to Israel.

We must contact Paul and request that he abandon his proposed amendment to the Act, which would undermine US-Israel security cooperation and American aid to the Jewish state. This move is against the national security interests of the United States.

Australia's largest sheep exporter, Emanuel Exports, has had their licence to operate suspended by the Federal Department of Agriculture.

This extraordinary development could spare hundreds of thousands of gentle sheep from suffering at sea, and from this year's 'Festival of Sacrifice' — an annual scene of so much cruelty.

It means that the two primary exporters of sheep from Australia are today off the water... one voluntarily, because basic new rules rendered their trade unprofitable; and the other by order of the Federal Department of Agriculture.

Pressure is mounting
Emanuel Exports has been under increasing pressure since the routine suffering on their ships was exposed on 60 Minutes. They are under investigation by the Western Australian government for potential violations of the WA Animal Welfare Act. And now they are being asked by Federal authorities to 'show cause' why they should still be allowed to operate.

This exporter is also central to Animals Australia's Federal Court case which is set down for trial in July.

The sun is setting on this industry. But it's not a done deal — yet.

Since 2012, the Co-op Group, one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains, has boycotted Israeli suppliers that source some of their produce from settlements in the West Bank, even if the bulk of their produce is from elsewhere in Israel.
 
Egregious human rights abuses by dictatorships around the world do not trigger a boycott under the Co-op Group’s Human Rights and Trade policy. However, companies from Israel, which is a democracy and the only free state in the Middle East, are singled out for boycotts.
 
Boycotting Israeli companies in this way has not had any positive impact on advancing peace.
 
The major impact has been to alienate from the Co-op Group a large section of the Jewish Community and other customers in the UK who are sympathetic to Israel. The issue has come back to the fore because of protests by angry local Jewish residents in Hampstead Garden Suburb, where a new Co-op store has opened (https://www.thejc.com/news/uk-news/hampstead-jews-vow-to-avoid-new-co-op-food-shop-over-israeli-boycott-1.465108 ).
 
Rather than the negative and divisive politics of boycotts, the Co-op Group should help bring Israeli and Palestinian co-operatives closer together to build peace and coexistence.
 
We are calling on the Co-op Group to drop this discriminatory and unjustifiable boycott of Israeli companies.
