According to Life Site News, the magazine, which often shares harmful advice to its young followers, published a column by Nona Willis Aronowitz in which she responded to a letter from a reader about obtaining an abortion. In

the letter, the reader asks Aronowitz how she can get an abortion without telling her pro-life parents.

Waskom, a small Texas town with a population just over 2,000 people, this week officially became a “sanctuary city” for the unborn.

In an uncharactaristically packed house Tuesday night, the Waskom City Council approved an ordinance declaring the small town a “sanctuary city for the unborn” — the first municipality in the Lone Star State to do so.

The council members also voted unanimously on a second Right to Life measure to outlaw abortion within the Waskom city limits.

Mark Lee Dickson, director of the East Texas chapter of the pro-life organization Right to Life, told reporters, “We decided to take things into our own hands, and we’ve got to do something to protect our cities and to protect the unborn children.”

According to KTAL-TV, Waskom Mayor Jesse Moore warned residents the city will likely face a lawsuit over the new statute, a legal challenge he said the town cannot afford to lose.

“Most likely, we will end up getting sued if this passes,” he explained. “It could go to the Supreme Court.”

Alderman Jimmy Dale Moore agreed with the mayor, lamenting the city simply can’t afford to pay the potential attorneys’ fees.

“If we go to the Supreme Court,” he said, “we’ll have to pay the other side of the attorney fees so … ya’ll save your nickel and pennies. We may need them.”

Those gathered for the meeting broke out in cheers after the council approved the pro-life statutes. And in response to potential legal troubles, supporters said they’re confident God will take care of them.

(CL) – Moviegoers in Canada will not currently be able to see Unplanned in theaters. Three of the nation’s largest distributors have rejected the movie, meaning that it cannot even receive a rating. “We have been effectively blocked from distributing the film in Canada,” said producer Lisa Wheeler, according to Life Site News. Unplanned tells the real-life story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood employee who became a pro-life advocate after witnessing an abortion.

‘I think I have the solution’: President Trump to work on bipartisan compromise on abortion

Abortion has been and remains to be a polarizing issue in this country — but Trump believes he may have a compromise both Republicans and Democrats can get behind.

“There is a solution,” the president said. “I think I have that solution, and nobody else does. We are going to be working on that.”

Polarizing Issue
There is a firm line in the sand between conservatives and liberals when it comes to abortion.

Conservatives believe every life is worth saving, even the life of an unborn fetus — regardless of the circumstances.

Liberals, however, fight tooth and nail for the right to kill unborn children under any circumstance.

They say no court, no man, no judge, nobody — period — should be able to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body.

This issue is such a hot potato, in fact, that it was central to the fight against Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation process.

There are even some conspiracy theorists that believe the allegations made against him were backed by pro-abortion groups and big money liberals.

The theory goes that these people came out against Kavanaugh because they believe he will try to overturn Roe v. Wade, even though Kavanaugh repeatedly said he would respect precedent and leave it be.

Trump’s Record on Abortion
Trump has been openly pro-life for years.

According to Bob Woodward’s book Fear, Trump proclaimed he was pro-life in 2010, and always has been while discussing a potential run for president.

Anti-abortion groups have even applauded Trump for his efforts against legalized abortion, including asking Congress to cut funding for abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood.
