Hillary Clinton begs Canada to ‘bring us back to our senses’

Former first couple Bill and Hillary Clinton are hitting the speaking circuit again, and making some pretty incredible statements in the process.

During an appearance in Toronto, the first stop of their 13-city speaking tour, Hillary touted Canada as a perfect example of where America needs to be.

Hillary also stated Canada can be used as an example to “bring us back to our senses.”

Not a sellout
Where there is little doubt about what the Clintons said, there seems to be some very conflicting reports as to how many people shelled out their cash to hear the Clintons ramble on.

The Montreal Gazette described the event as being “well-attended, but wasn’t a sellout.”

Videos of the event tell a different story, however.

Just minutes before the Clintons took the stage, one video showed an arena that was more empty than full.

There were also reports the upper decks of the arena had been closed off because they could not sell the tickets.

There were also reports of tickets being sold for about 10 percent of face value just so people could get rid of them.

A Night with the Clintons
While the speaking engagement is called “A Night with the Clintons,” it should have been called “Hillary and Bill Take Cheap Shots at America and President Trump” — because that seemed to be their main focus.

Rather than accepting her loss, Hillary is continuing her bashing tour of President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Canada, whose economy is slowing under the liberal leadership of prime minister Justin Trudeau, is in what Hillary and Bill think is the ideal situation.

Bill praised them for how well they are managing their current immigration situation while still maintaining their identity.

Perhaps Bill should check social media to see how furious most Canadians are with the “current situation” as well as its leadership.

In addition to immigration, Hillary outright accused President Trump of assisting in the coverup of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s murder.

Ironically, Hillary also touted herself as someone that would have stood up to Russian president Vladimir Putin, which is why they were trying to rig the election for Trump.

Hillary may want to check the actual facts and how she “rigged the system” for the Russians to benefit from a huge uranium deal.

Do You Think Hillary Will Run for President Again?

Jokingly, Hillary stated she may take a run at the Canadian Parliament in 2020.

There are more than a few Americans that wish she actually would. Watch below:

DEJA VU: Trump vs. Clinton 2020?

A former adviser to Hillary Clinton, Mark Penn, wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday claiming that Hillary Clinton would run again for President in 2020.

In the op-ed, Penn and co-author Andrew Stein wrote, “true to her name, Mrs. Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies. She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.”  The pair claims that Clinton will not let the “humiliating loss” to President Trump be the end of her political career.
“You can expect her to run for president once again,” they wrote, predicting her path to the presidency may be achieved under the radar saying. “maybe not at first, when the legions of Senate Democrats make their announcements, but definitely by the time the primaries are in full swing.”

Clinton has two years to plan her strategy and according to Penn and Stein, “she has to decisively win those Iowa caucus-goers who have never warmed up to her, They will see her now as strong, partisan, left-leaning and all-Democrat—the one with the guts, experience and steely-eyed determination to defeat Mr. Trump.”

Other longtime Clinton advisors pushed back on the op-ed saying she wouldn’t run, but this is a similar tone we heard before the 2016 election when there were talks of her not running and then she popped back onto the scene with plenty of money in her political coffer.  Perhaps in 2020 after the two previous failed presidential bids, the saying may ring true and the third time’s a charm.

White House adviser, Kellyanne Conway took to Twitter with a simple response to the op-ed in the Wall Street Journal which seems to welcome a Clinton presidential bid in 2020.
