Widespread condemnation followed Minnesota Rep. Omar’s latest anti-Semitic tweet in which she accused the largest pro-Israel lobbying organization of paying members of Congress to back Israel.

U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) added to her anti-Semitic record on Sunday a little more than a month since being sworn in as a freshman member of Congress. She accused the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the largest pro-Israel lobbying organization, of paying members of Congress to back Israel.

Specifically, Omar replied to a Twitter post by journalist Glenn Greenwald about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) “threatening punishment for [Omar] and [Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib] over their criticisms of Israel.”

“It’s stunning how much time US political leaders spend defending a foreign nation even if it means attacking free speech rights of Americans,” he added.

The freshman class of Democrat representatives is making a big splash — for all the wrong reasons.

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has come under fire after a 2016 letter resurfaced wherein she asked a judge to give leniency to several ISIS sympathizers.

Plea of Compassion
As we all know, nothing in your past stays hidden forever in this day and age.

In fact, when she sent this letter, Ohan was just a state representative in Minnesota.

Nine men had been apprehended for trying to join ISIS in 2015, at the height of the group’s activity in Syria.

When the case went to sentencing, Omar penned the letter to the presiding judge asking him to go easy on the men.

“The best deterrent to fanaticism is a system of compassion,” she wrote. “We must alter our attitude and approach; if we truly want to effect change, we should refocus our efforts on inclusion and rehabilitation.”

But it seems the judge didn’t agree with Omar’s stance. The lightest sentence he passed down was for a whopping 15 years behind bars.

Bogus Attacks
Still, the controversial statements did not end there for Omar.

After students from Covington Catholic High School were harassed in Washington earlier this month — an incident that was widely publicized and quickly became controversial after several news outlets reported that the boys were disrespectful when full footage of the incident showed otherwise — Omar repeated the false claim that the students were yelling, “It’s not rape if you enjoy it.”

Without verifying that this is what the kids had stated, Omar sent out a tweet critical of the students involved.

She later deleted it.

Omar has also hammered the president for opposing Venezuela’s radical leader, saying that Trump is backing a right-wing coup in the country.
