Things are starting to get really weird.  What I am about to share with you sounds very strange, but it is all true.  Before I get into it, let me ask you a question.  If you could have a vaccine passport permanently embedded into your hand, would you do it?  
Amazingly, some people in Sweden are willingly doing this to themselves.  They are putting microchips that contain their vaccine passport information into their hands, and they are raving about how convenient this is.  

You can actually watch a video of this being done to someone right here.  The video is not in English, but you will be able to understand what is happening.

I was absolutely floored when I first watched that.

Do they not understand where this could lead?

Society is increasingly being divided into two classes of people, and the class of people that is willingly conforming is being granted many "privileges" that the other group is being denied.

Many believe that this is "just a phase" and that things will eventually go back to normal.

But the truth is that this is not "just a phase" at all.

For a long time, health authorities were promising us that if we all did exactly what they asked that the pandemic would come to an end.

Unfortunately, now they are openly admitting that COVID is going to be with us permanently...

The White House's chief medical adviser, Anthony Fauci, says it's unlikely that the Covid-19 coronavirus will ever be wiped out, and insists the world is just going to have to start living with it.

During an interview with CBS's 'Face the Nation' on Sunday, Fauci said he didn't believe Covid-19 was ever going to entirely go away. He noted that the world had only ever eliminated one infection completely: smallpox.

"We're going to have to start living with Covid. I believe that's the case because I don't think we're going to eradicate it," Fauci told CBS.

If we are "going to have to start living with COVID", that means that all of the infrastructure that they are now putting in place will be with us from now on.

That means that there isn't going to be an end to the vaccine passports, the mandates or the injections.

In fact, the CEO of Pfizer says that "we're going to have an annual revaccination"...

"I think we're going to have an annual revaccination and that should be able to keep us really safe."

You are going to keep getting shots year after year after year in order to keep earning the "privileges" that you have been granted.

They want to make their authoritarian measures a permanent part of our lives, and this is what our society is going to look like from now on unless we take a stand.

The good news is that some courts here in the United States are starting to reject the mandates that Joe Biden tried to implement.  On Monday, a federal court blocked Biden's mandate for health care workers in 10 states, and on Tuesday a different court blocked that same mandate on a nationwide basis...

A federal court has issued a nationwide injunction protecting health care workers across the country from Joe Biden's COVID vaccine mandate.

Yesterday, in response to a multi-state lawsuit led by Missouri, a federal court barred the Biden administration from enforcing a vaccine mandate for health care workers in 10 states who are employed at federally-funded health care clinics. That means they doctors and nurses can't be fired for refusing the COVID vaccine despite Biden's federal mandate requiring them to get it.

Tibet, an ancient Buddhist nation was conquered by Communist China in 1950- sending its government to exile in India. Since then the Chinese Communist Party has done everything in its power to wipe out indigenous Tibetan culture. From destroying Buddhist monasteries to transferring its own Han population into Tibet, while stripping the region natural resources, the CCP has destroyed Tibet. From his exile in Dharamshala, India, the Dalai Lama who is the spiritual leader of Tibet, has been able to draw international attention to his people’s plight. Yet, the international community can do little against Beijing – who is now the most powerful economy in the world.

With Taiwan now under pressure from the CCP and a threat of imminent invasion by Beijing on the table, Taiwanese president Tsai Ing-wen has begun to make overtures to the Dalai Lama as well as other leaders of the Tibetan government in exile.

The relationship was forged by India who is heading up a united anti-Chinese Communist front. With Taiwan ordering more and more weapons and actively training with the US to repel a Chinese invasion, a potential uprising by Tibet against the Communist China may not result in a free Tibet, but will at least severely erode China’s power in the coming war between the CCP and the West.

Despite the fact that Tibet was sold out to China by the internationalist agenda, the CCP’s growing global hegemony has alarmed the West, who is now looking at ways of pushing back on the Chinese Communist power.

There is potential now for the USA to not only support Tibetan independence while bolstering Taiwan, but also increase potential autonomy and independence in the Uyghur majority area of Xinzang. Like Tibet, the Uyghurs are facing a form of cultural genocide that has been highly reported in the news.

In a recent article about the potential for American involvement in helping separatist movements in Chinese controlled territory, Michael Rubin writes: “The American Enterprise Institute’s Michael Mazza suggests that the State Department could simply revisit the question of sovereignty over Tibet. Consider it a revival of the Stimson Doctrine. Just as the United States sponsors an American Institute in Taiwan as a de facto embassy in Taipei, Mazza notes that it could be time for an American Institute for Tibet in Dharamsala, at least if the Indian government is willing to play ball.”

With Indian Prime Minister Modi’s recognition that the best way to take down the CCP is to simply pull all the occupied areas of greater China together in a form of rebellion, it may be time for the West to not only cut the CCP out in the business sphere, but to begin to follow India’s lead and break apart the CCP empire once and for all.

The US president seemed to be optimistic that the third Temple will be rebuilt saying: "Whether it's in the temple of Jerusalem or a temple of our democracy nothing broken or profaned is beyond repair...nothing. We can always build back better."
US president Joe Biden hosted the White House’s annual menorah lighting ceremony on the fourth night of Channukah on Wednesday. During his speech, Biden referenced the story of Chanukah and the destruction of the Second Temple. Biden compared the holy Temple to the “temple of our democracy.” The comparison struck many as ironic since democracy is a Greek concept, the very people (and ideas) the Maccabees fought against.

Later on in his speech, the US president seemed to be optimistic that the third Temple will be rebuilt saying: “Whether it’s in the temple of Jerusalem or a temple of our democracy nothing broken or profaned is beyond repair…nothing. Following the introduction, Biden recalled his meeting with former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir saying that he was going to be the liaison between Israel and the Egyptians following the Yom Kippur war of ’73 and a meeting with Meir which he described as “so depressing.”
On the lessons of the holiday of Channukah, Biden said: “The Chanukkah story provides a powerful lesson and nourishes the wellspring of hope. In darkness there’s light. In cynicism, there’s hope and optimism and an unyielding belief that miracles are possible.”
The menorah that was being lit was designed by the late Manfred Anson, an immigrant who escaped Nazi Germany.
Biden also gave an honorary mention to one guest named Rabbi Aharon Glatt for “encouraging his congregation to get vaccinated.”
Ironically, Biden who champions both mask and vaccine mandates hailed the lessons of freedom and liberty that could be learned from the Maccabees.

Until the mid-term elections in 2022, it is very convenient for much of the leadership of the Democrat Party to have a person in charge that is completely pliable to whatever Barack Obama or some other person “recommends” he do. There were government welfare programs before FDR’s New Deal which was basically a massive governmental project that employed tens of millions of people in government jobs in order to boost the faltering economy during the depression. It can be debated endlessly as to whether or not these government programs helped boost the economy or if it was World War II. It was probably a bit of both or perhaps the combination of the two.

However, the major sea change occurred in the late 60’s when Lyndon Baines Johnson introduced the massive spending of the government on a level that was unprecedented. This lasted for more than a decade till Ronald Reagan cut government spending and taxes in order to free up the citizenry from the large tentacles of the government. But welfare programs that were set up then still exist today, and the Obama policies of then have expanded and exist till today under the Biden administration. There are actually two big groups in America today – there are those who are living in a way that takes advantage of the freedoms that America accords and can work towards financial independence and prosperity. But then, there is a large and growing underclass that is largely reliant on government support to survive.

The key is for these programs to encourage independence and not to develop endless dependency. But today’s Democrats have much to profit from fostering massive dependence on government programs. As long as a growing population is reliant on the government, they will tend to vote Democrat as Democrats support expansion of government programs. This is not just not good for America – it is bad for the people themselves. Sound business advice for the individual is generally sound business advice for the masses too. The principles espoused here are critical to be heard at all levels of the government too.

It would be much easier to identify with some of the Trump policies on economic and foreign policy issues. But DeSantis sees himself as a more palatable version of Donald Trump with a little bit of Trump bluster. That may prove a winning formula when DeSantis runs in 2024 or 2028. But watch this guy. He has what it takes to go far, and that includes the ambition and winning track record thus far.

In 1939, best friends Ana María Wahrenberg and Betty Grebenschikoff were nine-years-old when their families were forced to flee Nazi Germany. They had made the painful decision after the Kristallnacht pogroms. After they separated, the two were unable to keep in touch. After the horrors of the Holocaust, they assumed the worst, believing their childhood friend to be one of the millions of victims.

OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE WORLD
But in 1939, the Grebenschikoff family, two daughters and their parents took a train to Italy before bribing their way onto a boat bound for Shanghai, the only open port at that time that admitted European Jews without visas or passports. They fled, leaving behind their family and possessions, just days before the Gestapo came for her father. During World War II, about 20,000 Jewish refugees were interned by Japanese authorities in a segregated area of Shanghai, also known as the Shanghai Ghetto.  In 1948, Betty and her husband fled the advance of the Communists, moving to Australia. In 1953, they settled in the US.

Ana Maria’s father was arrested on Kristallnacht but, unlike many other Jewish men who were less fortunate, he was released after only a few weeks. The Wahrenberg family fled in the opposite direction. They obtained visas to Haiti and voyaged to the Panama Canal where they obtained visas to Chile. After living in Chile until after the war, they moved back to Germany for 13 years but eventually returned to Santiago, Chile where she lives to this day.

REUNITED
The two had never been able to find one another as both had changed their names as a result of their multinational travels. But last November,  Wahrenberg spoke at a Zoom conference about Kristallnacht. An indexer from USC Shoah Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Steven Spielberg, which produces and preserves audiovisual testimony of Holocaust survivors, noticed similarities in their testimonies and ultimately linked the women together.

The two 91-year-old friends were reunited, speaking by Zoom for the first time in 81 years. After the long separation, the two friends have been making up for lost time, dialoguing online at least once a week. 

The two had planned to reunite in person in Florida where Grebenschikoff lives, for Rosh Hashanah but the pandemic made that impossible. This plan finally came true with the two spending four days together. 

“It was quite unbelievable; it was unreal. It was such a wonderful feeling to have my friend from childhood right there with me,” Grebenschikoff told As It Happens host Carol Off.  “We’ve both changed tremendously, of course, but it was just as if I had met her again yesterday.”

Wahrenberg told the Washington Post she felt very much the same. “It was very emotional,” she said. “It was like we were never separated.”

On Sunday night, the holiday of Hanukkah begins, celebrating the Maccabee’s victory over the Seleucids. After lighting the menorah, Jews sing the traditional song of Maoz Tsur (Rock of Ages). Written during the Crusades, each stanza tells of different enemies of Israel that came to wipe out the Jews throughout history. Though the Nazi effort at genocide is not mentioned in most versions of the song, some contemporary efforts have been made to incorporate the Holocaust into the song. 

Just as the Hannukah lights offer a light of hope, the revival of a childhood friendship signifies the victory of life over death, love over hatred, and light over dark.

There is no way around it. Donald Trump is the main reason that so many people today massively distrust the media. When Donald Trump stood up in front of the entire nation, first in the debates, and then as President, and called out CNN as fake news, he created a massive wave of tens of millions of people who realized that they were being duped by CNN every day of the year on so many issues. People used to be annoyed by CNN. Trump got them to hate CNN and other outlets. He did it very effectively, even if sometimes in an exaggerated manner.

But Trump didn’t just go after CNN, he went after all mainstream media. And though he clearly went too far in criticizing anyone who criticized him, his basic concept about the media was true. Most of the media is not just biased – it is filled with downright false narratives, and cannot be trusted.

Governor DeSantis has decided that he will adopt this anti-media attitude of Donald Trump. It is an interesting angle, as it means that he is adopting one of the more controversial sides of Donald Trump. It would be much easier to identify with some of the Trump policies on economic and foreign policy issues. But DeSantis sees himself as a more palatable version of Donald Trump with a little bit of Trump bluster. That may prove a winning formula when DeSantis runs in 2024 or 2028. But watch this guy. He has what it takes to go far, and that includes the ambition and winning track record thus far.

Best Kept Secret?

The best part of this video for me was the part where Mauro brings a theory about the Red Crossing.  It will blow your mind.  It is amazing how many stories of the Exodus seem to fit with this theory of where the stories of the Exodus took place.  Even the locations of the Golden Calf are discovered by Mauro in this documentary.  But watch the entire documentary for even more surprises.

The Saudi Interest
One would think that the Saudis would have good reason to publicize all of these potential tourist spots.  But the country of Saudi Arabia is not looking for Christians and Arabs to flock into their country.  There is no question that all of these discoveries could attract tens of millions of tourists every year.  Will Mauro bring a sea-change to the tourist map of the Middle East?   It probably depends on the Saudis.  If they open up the doors a bit, and decide to police their bedouin a bit, this will no doubt change the entire concept of what the world knows about the story of the Exodus in the Bible.

From 1948 until 1967, these Arabs were indeed largely ignored by the Jordanian occupiers, and small problems became big problems. But once Israel liberated the Lands that were historically part of the Jewish Commonwealth for around 1,000 years, everything improved for these Arabs. Health care improved, roads improved, and jobs were available all throughout the State of Israel. But the anti-Israel racist nationalism was spurred on by the same forces that fought against the very existence of the State of Israel. That is how Israel became what it is today – a country with a significant Arab minority that live better than most Arabs in neighboring countries. However, a large segment of this population is still hostile to Israel’s very existence despite all of the improvements. The hostility is nothing more than the same age-old racist anti-semitism that has plagued the world for so many centuries.

The other reason why the BDS movement has been so successful in building up momentum is that the anti-Israel haters found an effective method to blame Israel for everything while sounding like humanitarians. This was a brilliant marketing ploy that must be exposed. That is why short video clips such as this that unmask the true intentions of the BDS movement are so critical. There is no difference whatsoever between someone who wants to destroy the State of Israel and someone who wants to kill all of the Jewish people. They are vile anti-Semites.

The fact that a leading doctor in Israel, specializing in epidemics claims to not have heard of the VAERS system, is astonishing. Either he is ignorant, which renders him unfit to advise Israeli leaders on COVID-19 or he is lying, which makes his status even more alarming.

The real question is, what are Israel’s leaders hiding? Why are they so quick to quiet any debate about the vaccines? From the beginning of the agreement with Pfizer nearly one year ago, Israel has essentially handed over its medical data to the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. Both former Prime Minister Netanyahu and current Prime Minister Bennett admit Israel is essentially a laboratory for the world, yet they don’t share their understanding of when the newest experiment on the Jewish people will end.

Well, more important that any other way if looking at it, one needs to understand that at the heart of the conflict is that one side – the Arab side wants to kill the other side – the Jews. Dennis Prager summed it up so perfectly when he explained this. So many people assume that if the Arabs and Jews are fighting each other, then there must be two sides to the issue, and each side has a valid argument. But this is flatly wrong. The Jewish people have brought nothing but prosperity to the region, and most of the Arabs in the Middle East know this to be 100% true. But the leadership of the Arab people has been anti-Jewish for centuries, and has not changed one iota.

That is why the key to calm is prosperity in the region based on the Abraham Accords set up during the Trump administration. When enough Arabs realize that if they follow their leadership, they have so much to lose, then they will ignore the present Arab leadership and just bypass them. That is what Bahrain, UAE, and soon other Arab countries – have all decided. Hi-Tech Drones and Israel’s 70th Birthday
What could be more apropos to celebrate Israel’s 70th birthday than a drone show in the skies. In the 1948 War of Independence, Israel also had an Air Force.  It consisted of a few planes, made up of scrap metal from World War II leftovers.  For bombs, Israel improvised. When police chiefs in Chicago barely interrupt their own press conferences when shooting is heard outside and violent crime numbers rise steadily across many cities across America, everybody starts to take notice. UK’s Ban on Hamas a Significant Blow to Funding for Terror Group
The United Kingdom’s decision Friday, November 19, to designate the entirety of Hamas as a terror organization and outlaw support for the group is a major blow for the Islamist group, which carries out significant fundraising there.

The UK proscribed the terror group’s military wing — the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades — in 2001. But the Hamas political leadership remained technically in the clear until now.

This enabled Hamas to raise funds that were channeled to institutions including Gaza’s Islamic University, the leading facility for advancing the technology used in Hamas missile and other weapons development.

Hamas reacted angrily to the decision, with spokesperson Hazim Qasim calling it “a new crime committed by Britain against our Palestinian people.”

In a separate statement, Hamas condemned the move as one of a long line of British “sins” against the Palestinian people. The terror group singled out the 1917 Balfour Declaration, which affirmed British support for establishing a Jewish state.

UK Home Secretary Priti Patel, who is in charge of domestic security, said on Friday on Twitter that she had “acted to proscribe Hamas in its entirety.”

The ban, which must be approved by Parliament, would make it illegal in Britain to be a member of Hamas or to express support for the group, with a maximum penalty of 14 years in prison. (TOI / VFI News)

This attack in Jerusalem was deadly. The attack took place in Jerusalem’s Old City, and a young 26 year old man named Eliyahu David Kay was murdered. He was engaged to be married. His family, friends, and the entire nation are in mourning. And why was he killed? For being a Jew. In his homeland. In G-d’s land. Eli was murdered in cold blood by a Hamas terrorist. Everyone involved in these attacks must pay a price for their actions. Will the Israeli government respond strongly?

Thank G-d, the man in this video was not killed. He was “only” injured, and he was thankful for that. He knows that life is a gift. But the outcome could have been different. This cannot happen anymore – these terrorist attacks. It was the second attack in the Old City of Jerusalem in just a few days. People do not deserve to live like this. Jews do not deserve to be attacked in their homeland – or anywhere.

Israel and the Jewish people need a lot of prayers now and always. Hopefully, this will be the last tragedy for the nation of Israel.

The answer is that in many cases the blind are indeed leading the blind. All of the talk of racism and inequality has spun out of control into a stylish mess of words that make no sense to anybody who is honest. There are indeed differences between different kinds of people and yes, racism certainly is a factor in the world that has not vanished. But, there are other factors that are far more important than these when it comes to the reasons for so many black people in prisons. The breakdown of the family structure is far more important. Only when we properly assess the problem, will we be able to properly look for answers.

Yes, we do need more social workers – but no instead of police departments. We need more social workers to teach people how to stay married to each other and to deal with the negative impact of broken families. That will keep black people out of prison far more effectively than removing policemen from the streets of major cities in America. Inequality is not the problem. Family breakdowns are the problem. Equality of opportunity should be the goal, not equality of result.

Fadi Abu Shkahydem, the shooter in today’s terrorist attack should have raised red flags when his wife and children suddenly flew over seas, something that would never happen unless her husband was about to carry out a terrorist attack. This is a major setback for the internal security in the country and points to the problems plaguing the Bennett government.

Former Prime Minister Netanyahu shared his thoughts and prayers after the attack: “I send heartfelt condolences to the family of the murdered and pray with you for the healing of the wounded in the deadly attack in Jerusalem. Hamas, which is behind the attack, must pay a heavy price for this criminal murder in the heart of our capital.”

In stark contrast, Ra’am leader and member of the coalition, Mansour Abbas said that he condemns “harm to innocent people on both sides, and it will continue this stance, especially when it comes to innocent civilians.”


The police continued to sweep the area in a search for a supposed accomplice. The location of the attack is a major thoroughfare in the Western Wall plaza and is assumed be a safe place.

On Sunday morning, Rabbi Zeev Katzenellebogen prayed at the Kotel (Western Wall) and was returning to his home in the Old City when he was attacked by a Palestinian terrorist armed with a Gustav submachine gun. ‘

“I was going home from Shacharis(morning prayer, still wrapped in my tallis and tefillin,” Rabbi Katzenellebogen related from his hospital bed. “I heard gunshots and chaos. I didn’t really understand what was going on but I realized that there was an incident. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my arm right at the place of my tefillin (phylacteries).” 

In what can only be described as a miracle, one of the bullets struck the leather box containing parchments with Torah verses that were tied to his upper arm adjacent to his heart, as per the Biblical requirement.

“When I realized what happened, I immediately returned toward the Kosel plaza so I would be in a safe place,” The father of eight children related. “I understand what a great miracle I experienced. I could have lost my life in a second. It was a kindness from Hashem (God). I could have lost my life at that moment. The tefillin are opposite the heart, there’s a connection to Hashem and you feel protected. It was an extremely powerful experience.”

Tragically, Eliyahu David Kaye, a 26-year-old new immigrant from South Africa, was murdered in the attack. 
In addition, another Israeli and two policemen were injured in the attack. 

The Palestinian terrorist, later identified as a member of Hamas, was shot and killed by police. 

Israel’s Public Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev said the terrorist lived in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem.

“He was a member of Hamas, the political branch not the armed wing,” Bar-Lev told Israel’s Kan television. He added that the terrorist’s family had left Israel for Jordan several days ago, indicating that the attack was coordinated in advance

An Iranian spy was caught working for Israel’s Defense Minister, Benny Gantz. He was suspected of installing some sort of computer virus on the Defense Minister’s laptop. Omry Goren Gorochovsky, 37 and his wife worked as cleaners in Gantz’s private home in Rosh Hayin where he was able to use his access to break into the then former Chief of Staff’s laptop.
Interestingly, it was at that time that the government found out that Iran had hacked Benny Gantz’s cellphone. It appears that Goren continued to funnel information via Telegram to Iranian agents.
So with this revelation can we honestly say that Iran has not already invaded?

Who came up with the IRS? Was it George Washington? Alexander Hamilton? Thomas Jefferson? You will be surprised. Taxation without representation was actually one of the most important aspects that led to the 1776 War of Independence in the United States. And in France, taxes also are one of the causes that led to the French Revolution.

But the tax issues that ultimately led to wars was not just an 18th century concept. It continued into the 19th century during the Civil War. From the time of the beginning of World War I, national taxes began in a major way, but taxes did not exceed 15% – in the highest tax bracket. But after the War, taxes went way up.

FDR’s New Deal was the plan that saw the greatest jump in taxes. The top marginal tax rate actually hit 94%. Since then, it went down and up. But the point of this video is to show the connection between taxes and wars in the history of the United States. A critical point made here is that wars are often the spark plug for a steep raise in taxes. But, then instead of cutting taxes and going back to normalcy, often Congress continues to dig deeply into our pockets. And yes, outside of FDR and LBJ, the Democrat Presidents actually have a pretty good job as far as not raising taxes. Many Republicans actually have raised taxes too. The main exception who clearly lowered taxes is Ronald Reagan.

The thesis of this video is that we should cut military expenditures and invest more internally in order to not raise taxes. This sounds very reasonable. But it does ignore one very important point. World War II was as costly as it was BECAUSE of America’s isolationist attitude leading up to the War. So, higher taxes are not merely a result of the high cost of wars. Policies that lead to wars are also a leading cause of ultimately raising taxes. Had America not been as isolationist and intervened in the 30’s against German expansionism, hundreds of thousands of Americans would have been saved and millions of others would have survived too.

Bennett Says No Matter What Happens with Iran Talks, We'll Defend Ourselves
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stressed that Israel would defend itself, no matter what happens in the nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers, during a visit to an exercise being carried out by the IDF in northern Israel on Tuesday, November 16.

"We are surrounded by security challenges and the goal is to take advantage of periods of relative quiet to build strength. Therefore, we are preparing for various scenarios, both near and far," said Bennett. "We are dealing with Iran and its affiliates in Lebanon and Syria. No matter what happens between Iran and the superpowers, and we are certainly concerned about the fact that there is not enough toughness in the face of Iranian violations, Israel will defend itself, on its own."
During the visit, Defense Minister Benny Gantz stated that "we are of course following everything happening on all fronts."

"We are currently seeing Iran's policy within Iran in the nuclear context, as well as its strengthening outside Iran, and its influence in Syria and Lebanon," added Gantz. "The world must act against Iran and Israel must continue to do what it needs in every front in general and in the northern front in particular."

Last week, the IDF began a drill in northern Israel, as part of which reservists in the 36th Division, also known as the Ga'ash Formation, were called up.

About 3,000 soldiers from the Golani Brigade, Armored Corps, Artillery, and Reserve Brigades, along with Intelligence and the Air Force, took part in the drill.

"We found here a very cohesive and trained system that is gaining more and more capabilities, and I am very happy with what we have seen here," said Gantz about the drill.
"The state budget has been approved and this is especially important for the IDF, which can properly plan its resources, train continuously and intensively and invest everything it needs in preparing for the next war," said Bennett. (JPost / VFI News)

Last night an arab terrorist wounded two border police in the Old City of Jerusalem with a knife. The terrorist was neutralized or shot dead by a local resident – Rabbi Aviv Tzobari, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ateret Cohanim.

While other border police also helped in neutralizing the terrorist, it was the Rabbi that reached the scene and defended the the border police that were injured.

Paramedics from United Hatzolah and the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical response service treated the wounded border police guards at the scene. The wounded were then taken to nearby Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center in the city.

The attack took place on Rechov Hagai, the main thoroughfare that runs from Shaar Shchem to the Kotel. The area was recently “Bravery Square” in memory and dedicated to another Rabbi – Rav Nechemia Lavi Hy’d, who saved the life of Adele Benita, as he struggled with another Arab terrorist a few years ago in the same area.


Daniel Luria, the Executive Director of Ateret Cohanim said the following: “Ateret Cohanim families students and children will continue to walk the streets of OUR Jerusalem and WE WILL continue to grow and expand our Jewish presence. The Greek Empire ultimately fell to the Maccabees and so too will the hate filled radical Arab Moslem world.We are here to stay and there is nothing that the Arab world- with its hatred, violence and terrorism will do to change this fact.”

In the years since the murder of Aaron Benita and Rav Nechemia Lavi, more and more Jews have begun walking through Shaar Shchem and down Rechov Hagai. This has brought an almost near unbroken presence of Border Police and security to the area.

1,000 Jews now live in the Old Jewish Quarter, which is today named the “Christian and Muslim” Quarters.

Last week, an Israeli couple was jailed in Turkey while on vacation. They were falsely accused of being spies. Thank Gd, they returned home.

What a terrifying situation! A vacation gone wrong. This Israeli couple was in Turkey, and they were arrested on false charges. The couple was accused of being spies! What was their “crime?” They photographed Erdogan’s palace. Natali and Mordy Oknin are innocent, and thank G-d they were released from the Turkey prison after a week of being there. There were fears that they would have been there for years before the situation was resolved.

It is absolutely insane that in Turkey you need to be so careful about what you photograph; that something innocent can potentially cause an uproar.

Thank G-d these innocent people did not have their lives ruined as political pawns by Turkey. Hopefully, Israel did not have to pay any diplomatic price for getting them freed.

Turkey used to be Israel’s greatest ally in the region, but that all changed under the current political leadership of Erdogan. He turned Turkey into one of Israel’s biggest enemies in the region, second only to Iran. Hopefully, Israeli tourists will learn the lesson and stop vacationing there and potentially endangering themselves like this couple.
