DEAR PRAYING FRIENDS. Greetings in the name of the Messiah Jesus the Christ
Ramazan is 1-30 Aug 2011 during which time Muslims daily pray and fast from sunrise to sunset.

Many of us focus in prayer during this timeframe to pray for Muslims and our friends. There have been true miracles as result of our prayers for Muslims during this time frame.

As you desire I propose to put out a daily short list of items to pray for like an agenda starting 1 Aug 2011. This will give you things to pray for. We will focus on Turkey and other Muslim counties and sects of the world.

PS we have had min response about our Christmas baskets for the holidays. If you would like to help please let us know

Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES - Page 6 Empty Re: Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES

Dear praying friends: greetings in the name of Jesus.

Hristo and I are not able to stay in country all the time as we have explained before. There will be more emails as we go in and out of country.

The purpose of this memo is to let you know about our planned trip in December. There are more trips before then however. As you remember last December our journey was marred by adversity with the police and satanic interferences with our visits in homes.

In spite of these adversities we were able to distribute Christmas stockings and crosses to a limited number of kids and adults thanks to a couple of USA churches who helped us with supplies as we mentioned previously. Consequently several people accepted the Lord Jesus as Savior. We found these gifts are effective in getting people's attention and presence.

As we prepare for our trips we begin to discuss what we can do to gain the attention of our people and relate these ideas to the Gift of Heaven Jesus Christ.

As a kid I remember how we look forward to the Christmas baskets especially apples and oranges. I use to salivate over these items and thus delight in looking forward to the holidays.

These thoughts got me to thinking about a Christmas basket for each family to which we minister. However weight is a big problem for me since I can take only 210 pounds of luggage making such a thing as infeasible. Chita can carry even less pounds.

We minister to about 80 families in 5 different villages and cities. Our people are mostly gypsies and very poor making only $8-10
a day if they can find work.

We need ideas on how to get this done. For me such a thing would attract new people to our prayer meetings and even could be an annual event.

Any ideas you may have would be appreciated.

blessings

Dear praying friends

Greetings in the name of the Holy One Jesus for whom we witness daily to some muslim or someone as a gypsy who has no savıor or god.

Recently as I was praying at the gravesite of my friend Haluk I said Lord we have so many rejections and the muslim is nearly impossible to deal with; then as if the Lord spoke to me `"I know eddie because they rejected me. continue to use my Word and that is enough"

My present journey ends Saturday till I return in Oct. However Hristo continues till end of June and as you know he must leave the country for 3 months.

This week has been very satsfying. We had over 20 people in one prayer meeting. 3 got saved.
Hristo and Pavlina then took a bus for 120 KM s and walked 6 KM s to conduct a prayer meeting. One person was filled with the Holy Ghost. Praise God!

İn summary we have heard 28 people say the sinners prayer in the last 3 weeks..... Awesome time!!!!!!!! as you recall our previous journey was met with obstacles seemingly impossible to overcome but God opened the way for us to go. It is all GOD and nothing else. Praise God folks for this God intervention. We are having a warmer recption by the people and more in attendance.

May God save our adversaries who created obstacles

Again thank you for your support and prayers without which we could not do what we are doing.

In HIS precious name till next time.

Dear praying friends.

We continue in prayer meetings in homes, in tents or in the fields. It
reminds me of the song my house is full but my fields are empty. Lord
send workers for the harvest.

There have been 6 saved and several healings since our last
report.Praise God.

One magnificent testimony is from a young man who is already testifying
in his work to 6 people.

Today he wants to change his identity from Muslim to Christian. This is
a big deal in Turkey. Not only this but he wants a metal cross to wear.
In the meantime he is wearing one of the crosses provided by bro and
Sis Shelton of Michigan. His testimony is vibrant.

It appears we are slowly making progress thanks to your prayers and
support.

Thank God the Holy One of Israel is manifesting Himself. We are blessed
to be a part of this mission.

Again thanks for your prayers

Dear praying friends below is a prayer request from all of us. We thought this appropriate since it applies to us as well. We solicit your intercessions. Eddie, chit,Hristo and. Pavlina

-----Original Message-----From: Mike Green
email address removed To: news4turkey Sent: Fri, Apr 15, 2011 5:02 pmSubject: [news4turkey]
Special request for prayer from the body of Christ in Turkey Our brothers and sisters in Turkey have sent us the following message:
"From the body of Christ in Turkey, to our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Greetings from the church in Turkey. From the land of Noah, of Abraham, of Paul, of Ararat and Harran, of Antioch, Ephesus, Galatia, of the Seven Churches of Revelation... "Yet today, the body of Christians in our land is less than 0.1% of the population of 72 million. "We are writing to you on behalf of the leaders of the church in Turkey to ask for your prayers. Prayer is, of course, the essential need of all Christians everywhere, so why pray for Turkey at this time? For the ground is hard and the battle in the heavenlies is tough and in recent years we have felt an added urgency and burden for prayer for our nation and its churches. In 2009 we asked the world to join us each year for a
'Global Day of Prayer for Turkey' on April 18, the day in 2007 when 3 of our brothers were tortured and brutally murdered in the town of Malatya.

"We greatly desire that you would join the small congregations of Turkey along with many churches worldwide to pray for Turkey in your churches and homes on April 18. To pray that the church in Turkey is anointed and strengthened in the Holy Spirit to live for the glory of God; pray that the outcome of this will bring hope and blessing to the land and people of Turkey as hearts and eyes are opened to Jesus Christ and to the Kingdom of God. In this brief time of prayer you will be joining millions all over the world. "You can find information on the church in Turkey including more prayer topics along with links for further information at http://www.prayforturkey.com. You will also have a 3 minute video available to download from this Internet site to help you and your congregations. If you would like further information please write to prayforturkey@gmail.com. "Thank you so very much for your prayers. The God of peace be with you all.
"Alliance of Protestant Churches (Turkey)"___________________________________"These are a few points to help direct your prayers for Turkey. Please feel free to pray for any other points you feel led to pray for.
"1- Please pray for the blessing and peace of Turkey in general, as the Lord desires us to bless and be a blessing to all."'By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted....' Proverbs 11:11
"2- Pray the Lord will display His love and mercy to the people of Turkey by pouring out His Holy Spirit upon our land, revealing His glory through healings, signs and wonders.
"3- Pray the Lord breaks down the lies and the endless disinformation about Christ, the Bible and Christians that has blinded and hardened hearts in our land. Pray that God redeems the negative memories ofhistory."'Of course, we are living in the flesh, but we do not fight in a fleshly way. For the weapons of our warfare are not those of theflesh. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments and every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive in order to obey Christ..' 2 Co.10:3-5
"4- Pray that hearts and eyes are opened to see Jesus as the way, the truth and the life.
"5- Pray for the Turkish believers who are always on the frontline to walk close to the Lord. Pray for refreshing, emboldening, strengthening, protection and encouragement.
"6- Pray for more servant hearted leaders. For good role models. For faithful laborers.
"7- Pray for the ongoing unity amongst the churches and for its increase and deepening."'May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus thattogether you may, with one voice, glorify the God and Father of our Lord JesusChrist.' Romans 15:5,6
"Thank you for your prayers. May the Lord's hand be upon you always.

Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES - Page 6 Empty Re: Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES

Post  Admin Tue 05 Apr 2011, 11:08 am

Dear friends Greetings in the name of Jesus

we solicit your prayers as never before as you know from our previous correspondence.

We will be facing the same obstacles as we stated before in previous correspondence . We have immersed ourselves in II Cor 11-13 and Ephesians 6 to prepare ourselves to deal with situations as we go to share the Gospel of Jesus. In this respect we seek your intercessions for the following issues. We pray for the help of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit without which we would be totally lost.

Pray for us as servants that we will submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every endeavor. I feel so lost sometimes because of our difficulties. May God guide us to a great harvest.

Hristo and Pavlina are already in country. Pray for their good health and success in having a great harvest.

Pray for my journey commencing Saturday and pray that the Lord will give me strength to do His bidding.

Folks the harvest is truly ripe but we need people to go reap with us. Pray the Lord of the harvest will raise up willing souls for the harvest.

Pray for our Easter program which will be the emphasis in all our meetings We thank Pastor and Mrs Shelton of Michigan who gave us training aids which we will use to emphasize the resurrection of Jesus. Thank you dear ones.

Pray that our "reading glasses ministry" will find receptive villages that will allow this ministry to be implemented under the banner of the CROSS

It is a real opportunity the Lord has given us to share the Gospel to people in an area who have never heard the message of salvation except from a Muslim point of view .

Thank you for your prayers.

We will be sending you weekly reports as to our progress.

Subj: PRAYER REQUESTS

Dear praying friends: greetings in the name of Jesus.

We are waiting to reenter Bergama but in the meantime we are praying, studying and staying in touch with our friends in Turkey .

As you may recall in many memos about my friends Haluk, Kiymet, and Nihal who passed away.

There is only one immediate relative left ... a granddaughter ...Seda .
She is a close friend of ours(SEDA) who accepted the Lord and wants to have a child but complications due to her husbands treatment for thyroid cancer precludes this in the natural world. Husband contributed sperm before his treatment but the cost for transplant is $5000. They don't have the money and living in Istanbul is expensive as you may know. We are not asking for money but prayers.

The Lord has already healed her of remorse over death of all immediate relatives in one year , insomnia and fear of elevators.

I told her the Lord could make a pregnancy possible and we would pray for her. She said do pray. But she has no idea about you my friends. The only believers she knows is me and Chita.

in preparation of this memo I felt the Lord telling me to pray for others. There are two more prayer requests. They are illnesses seemingly impossible situations the doctors can remedy. We choose not to divulge the illness without permission from parents . The reason I chose these because I know them personally and the parents are involved in a similar ministry as well. They are:

Elijah whose parents are in Turkey
Jordan whose parents are in the states

If you have any prayer request let us know so we may pray with you and allow as you permit our intercessors to pray.

eddie and chita brooks

PS pray for salvation of my son Robert

Dear friends greetings in the name of the Holy One --Jesus the Son of God

I come to you with a sad heart because Satan has interrupted our progress in Menemen by using the one we have helped the most due to his serious injury about four years ago and many of you helped in his physical recovery.

(Menemen as you may recall is a gift of God to us. It is a miracle that we have been there this long. God has worked in the hearts of many people and we have baptısed 10 of them.. Praise God!!!)

Bezgen has allowed Satan to put in his heart money and when he insisted on it we had to deny him. Somehow I knew we had to pay consequences of our decision.

As you well know we have been in Menemen about 6 years and there has been many decısions for Christ and many baptisms. Bezgen has been instrumental in getting people to come to our prayer meetings. We are grateful for this but our sole purpose in Turkey is to carry the Gospel and the LIGHT of JESUS. We cannot pay a person to be a Christian.. It don't work and we know it. Too many have tried and no money no come to church.

Folks this is serious business and we need your prayers. May God intervene and touch the heart of Bezgen changing his mindset . Pray pray pray please. It seems he has forgotten the serious condition he was in and the tremendous help we provided.

Hristo amd Pavlina are going to Menemen Sunday for a prayer meeting. May the Lord touch the hearts of Bezgen and his family or may God raise up some other local who can help us carry the torch.

This has been a heavy load this week for us...Lord we need YOU

as we pray for you pray for us

Greetings dear prayerful friends... thank you for your continual prayers for our work in Turkey.

As we start our journey may I state a few issues which you can use to pray for us. pray for.. ..

1. our safe journey via air and car

2. may the Lord Jesus open new doors of opportunity for us.

3 .Hristo and Pavlina safe journey this weekend to Bergama and protection from the evil one. Satan would like to interfere in their lives to interrupt their continuation in Turkey. This is a critical issue . They are the only ones who provide constant continual service for the COG in Turkey.

4. the protection of our condo from fire and vandalism. we have no insurance since it is so expensive.

5. the medical mission of Dr and Mrs Chapman of the Monroe COG . Our dear Bro and Sis Chapman are sharing with us a new method of evangelization using a John 3 :16 Turkish reading chart along with reading glasses . Awesome method since most of our contacts cannot afford glasses which is a luxury to them. If a person desires some reading glasses they must read the chart which acknowledges the deity of Christ before receiving the reading glasses . [size=16]awesome isn't it.
Thank you Bro and Sis Chapman.

6. the list of people noted in the attachment to this email

We want to look at a couple of things set forth by Bro Mike Chapman and Bro Mitch Maloney that we consider our work under the spirit of Antioch and develop our prayer meetings using a triad system ; once we get three people coming to a prayer meeting then launch out to a different village and set up another prayer meeting. Lord Jesus open doors for us and give us wisdom.

Pray for Bro Dinko and the Bulgarian COG who are coming along side us as we minister in Turkey. Thank God for these brothers and sisters for their help.

As you all know we have been laboring 9+years and have been able to designate only one prayer meeting by name---The New Life Fellowship... it is obvious we are inadequate and we need an intervention by heaven......

WE NEED A HOLY GHOST MOVE OF GOD IN OUR AREA and the leading of the Lord to get this job done.

as we pray for you pray for us there is no greater service.

Brother and Sisters our EVANGEL to Turkey is about finished.

In addition to the souls saved and baptized our team met in several homes encouraging our love ones. Praise God for these efforts.

Like Paul of old the team went and ministered and our brothers and sisters profited. Praise God for this journey.

The team will leave in the AM Saturday please pray for their safe journey back to Bulgaria.

They have left a legacy in Turkey and promises to return Christmas and help us in the celebration.

Praise God for such dedicated COG people who have a vision outside of their personal sphere of influence.and operation

again thanks for your prayers and support.

Subject: EVANGEL FOR TURKEY

Dear Brothers and Sisters: Greetings in the name of the HOLY ONE

we are forwarding you an old prayer request for our Bulgarian evangelism team going to visit our love ones in Turkey. As you may remember 3 weeks ago the team got to the border but was not able to go due to a mother being hospitalized for a stroke-- was in a coma. Now that woman is out of the hospital and home walking..Thank God for your prayers.
We now have a translator to supplement the one we may use in Turkey. So pray also for this person in addition to what is below.

Now let us pray as this journey is about to begin again coming up Monday AM

May all obstacles vanish in the Name of Jesus.

In the name of our GREAT SHEPHERD JESUS

eddie and chita

Subj: EVANGEL FOR TURKEY

[size=12][size=12]Dear praying friends: Greetings in Jesus name .

My subject is based on the publication of the COG as you well know. We don't have a Turkish article to send the believers in Turkey but we do have a team from Bulgaria who will carry the good news to our believers and non believers in Turkey who are without someone to tell them about Jesus. As you know Hristo and I are not in Turkey presently due to law and commitments elsewhere.

A team of four people will go the beginning of August for one week. pray for them that:

Journey will be safe and secure.

All doors will be opened to them when they make contacts. All lights will be green wherever they go

People will be saved and healed, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost as happened in Pentecost and during travel of the believers

We find a translator for the team. ( we know one( unbeliever) person who speaks both Bulgarian and Turkish. May she be receptive to our request for help )

all Satanic obstacles be successfully repelled in Jesus name. I have omitted names for reasons you well know . Jesus is the reason for this season. not us.

Continue to pray for God to raise up people to minister in Turkey. The harvest is ripe but laborers are few.

as we pray for you pray for us .

Hi brother Eddie,

Sad news – we almost came next to the Turkey border when my wife called me. Her mom was accepted into the hospital. She is in a comma – a major stroke and chances are very bad for her – looks like she is in a risk of passing away. So we turned around and came back to Stara Zagora and have been dealing with the hospital till now. We will be spending the night here and will see what the doctors will tell us – if she comes back and goes into a stable status – we will leave again in the morning. So please pray again with us – looks like the devil is really not liking us to be in Turkey.

Sorry my brother… I will continue to update you

Dinko

AS THELORD WILLS MY BROTHER.. How is your mother in law?? we are praying for her

The devil is against our efforts to take the Gospel to less fortunate people than us. .Happy are the feet of those who carry the WORD. You will be blessed in whatever situation. For me It is important you go with or without a translator. Our brothers and sisters must see the flesh of our Bulgarian brothers and sisters. You will communicate the Gospel with or without an interpreter. So dont worry the Lord Jesus has gone before you .

Hristo is real sick whether from the beating or failure to take his medication for high blood pressure. .we do not know. Pray for him

Lookin forward to your 23 Aug trip.

Nazmiye(translator) made an unexpected to Antalya to visit her daughter. Who knows she may be back by the 24th of August

Rest assured our prayers are with yall

your brother.

Brother Eddie – I am sorry to tell you that we reached a decision to move the date of our trip to August 23rd. Please notify everyone. Forgive me please – We are all in full anticipation and the fire inside to go and preach is burning us alive ;-) but we have to act smart – being without an interpreter is not going to take us far. So let us continue to pray.

Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES - Page 6 Empty Re: Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES

Post  Admin Thu 03 Jun 2010, 6:01 am

Dear praying friends : greetings in the name of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who directed our focus to Menemen about 5 years ago . For us it appeared accidental but now we know it was/is Holy Spirit directed.

To date we have had 34 people say the sinners prayer and have baptized 10 believers and two( 2) have been baptized in the Holy Ghost.
An average of 10 people attend our weekly services each Sunday (more would attend but they are very poor ; when there is work they must go to bring home the bacon). Praise God for HIS direction. It is the Holy Spirit who is directing the fellowship. No doubt in my mind. For example last week :

an adjacent village heard about the water baptisms and came to Hristo seeking to be baptized in water. Bezgen and Hristo counseled them about Jesus ; they said the sinners prayer and subsequently were baptized in water. Praise God. Now a new village is opening up to our work .. Thank you Lord Jesus . New names written in Heaven are Sercan and Mehmet --allelujah!!!!!

The problem now is Hristo and Pavlina must leave the country for 3 months required by law. Now our sheep will have no shepherd for 3 months aside from our phone calls which we make periodically. Pray the Lord Jesus will touch someone's heart about coming to work with us. We are trying to continue our services with new believers but you know how that works better than I .

Amazing dear ones how the Lord has directed our path... the problem is no one to help us shepherd the sheep. I heard a song awhile back " my house is full but my fields are empty" or something like that but I am sure you have heard such a phrase. Our job is short on immediate gratification but has eternal significance. These are people who have never heard the Gospel in an area where the Gospel has not been preached for hundreds of years.

Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into HIS harvest. Matt 9:38.. Brothers and Sisters the field is empty of laborers from Ephesus to the Dardenelles or.... many are too timid about witnessing for the Christ..

One month ago we wrote you about a new convert named Serdar. He has been involved in a shooting and has been hospitalized. Pray for his complete healing . His mother was the one delivered from cigarettes. It now has been about 3 months since her last cigarette. Thank God for touching the lives of our new friends via not only salvation but healings as well.

Do continue to pray or us as we pray for you .

BROOKS-HRISTO JOURNEY 4-19-10

Dear praying friends: again I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for Muslim Turks and gypsy Turks in particular.

This week has been a series of visits and two meetings in Menemen in the Church of God New Life Fellowship. The highlights are as follows.

We were blessed to have Bro Larry and his family with us. Bro Larry taught a good lesson and conveyed the meaning of the Grace Of God to the people who had no idea what it was. Bro Larry and his inept translator was able to convey the meaning as it was not truly understood before. Thank you Bro Larry for your dynamic teaching . Thank you Sisters Brenda and Amy for your help as well . We had one saved who was the brother of Sadik.

Today we offered the Lord s supper attended by about 12 people of which three accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior. After which the received communion .Praise God . Not a bad week for us who have been struggling for about 7 years conveying the message of salvation in Jesus Christ. İt is amazing how the Lord uses the communion to get people saved. People dont want to be left out

We are all gasping for breath trying to determine when our plane leaves... someone said the Lord is truly returning soon.

Thank your for your prayers and continuing prayers till our departure hopefully by the end of the month.

your brother .

eddie brooks

----
Dear friends I omitted one critical bit of info.

We baptized two people yesterday one of which accepted the Lord Wed night .. the brother of null.

blessings upon you.

4-11-10--BROOKS HRISTO JOURNEY

Dear praying friends we greet you in the name of the Sacrificed Lamb Jesus Christ. Those words are so meaningful in this land where lamb sacrifices are an ongoing event. If they could only realize Jesus has already done it all and we tell this to those who listen to us.

The lady who accepted Jesus and for whom we prayed to be delivered from cigarettes has not smoked a cig since we prayed for her--about one week . continue to pray for her (ALTİN). strengthen her O Lord Jesus !!!

My wife Chita taught me a very important lesson ' always give a person an opportunity to accept Jesus or reject HIM! They can only say yes or no.' Many of these people we see only once in a lifetime. For example yesterday I saw this gypsy family going through the garbage cans on the street. We helped them out with some shoes and food. I knew possibly I would never see him again in this life and told them so

I asked the man if he ever heard of Jesus and he said he had seen a film about Jesus but he could not read or write which is norm for these clss of people. I asked him permission to read the sinners prayer to him which he permitted. He said he liked the prayer and thought it to be fruitful. He followed me in saying the prayer and accepted Jesus as lord and Savior.. praise God for this opportunity. I gave him a New Testament. The woman had already left our area.

Last week we had a meeting in Menemen and all agreed we needed to formalize our prayer meetings.,In attendance was the former Village chief and now head of a formal gypsy association of about 1000 gypsies - recognized by the government. This is only the beginning and is low key due to unpopularity of Christianity. we may end up with only an association for obvious reasons till our strength increases and as the Holy Spirit directs. we presently have about 10 + believers.. Then on to a church and construction--our vision. we agreed to the following

1.Formaled prayer group would be under the auspices of the Church of God.

2.All liked a sub name for the group and we agreed on ' YENI HAYAT TOPLULUĞU(NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP)
( all agreed they had a new life. Ths admission encouarged me)

3. A meeting would be held every Sunday at 4 PM

We plan to formalize a similar group in Kinik and other areas as conditions permit. we also need to appoint leaders but we dont have anyone yet in whom we have confidence. Lord raise up leaders!!
Bro Larry will be with us this week .. It is not coincidental that all of this is happening this way this week---- ordained by the Lord

again thank you for your prayers and as you pray for us we pray for you.,,

Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES - Page 6 Empty Re: Prayer Needs Missionaries (Asia Minor) Turkey & UPDATES

Post  Admin Wed 07 Apr 2010, 9:32 am

Dear Friends: I greet you again ın the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

We continue our journey to various places prayerfully. Sunday we had an unusual service ın Menemen.

First of all we proposed to the attendees to formalize a church İin Menemen which is a BIG DEAL in Turkey and the people were receptive to the proposal. This was just a preliminary discussion but worthy to explore . I told them before we start a church the Holy Spirit baptism for me was essential for some of them if not all.

Hristo did his sermon on the resurrection and then the Lord impressed upon me to read Acts 2 and Acts 19. subsequently ......

I suggested Hristo due to his maturity in the Lord to lay hands on the willing ones to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. According to Hristo 2 people spoke in tongues.. all felt the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

Then we invited unsaved people to receive Jesus. 3 People said the sinners prayer. Praise God for HIS blessings .

Menemen is a gift of God to all of us. Too long to tell the story... As the church was established on Pentecost I felt the Lord saying so be it in Menemen where we are

If we do formalize this weekly meeting in Menemen which is about 150 KM roundtrip we will need a gas supplement to defray the cost of the trip... about $100 monthly . Pray for us that God will provide. Gasoline is about $10 a gallon

Monday we went to a home we had been visiting for about 4 years. The wife said the sinners prayer and we prayed for her to be delivered from cıgaretees . Please pray for her whose name is ALTIN.

Also we visited a man named FAHRI who recently accepted Jesus and he has a bad case of Diabetes. Please pray for his healing. He looks frail

we continue our journey in the name of the HOLY ONE

as we pray for you pray for us.

Dear friends: greetings ın Jesus name the crucified ONE who rose from the dead -our SAVIOR and LORD JESUS CHRIST

Our journey started as I was leavıng customs and security at the airport. The guy who was helping me with a rental car and bags a former Muslim identified himself as a believer who accepted Jesus in Iraq. we exchanged names and phone numbers for future contact. Of course our work is mostly about 8 hours south of Istanbul...but we will stay in contact with this person named SERDAR.. remember him in your prayers .. Interesting isn't it brothers and sisters how God uses us to nurture new believers wherever they go.

During this week we met a man and wife in the town of Dikili who say they are believers, however they say must pray about future meetings with us. we all had a good visit

Last evening in KINIK we tried to have a GOOD FRIDAY service when an unknown person interrupted our meeting with many religious and political questions as we were trying to serve the Lord' s supper. İn any case we had to shut the service down because we did not want make a scene when the police could be called in; not really scared but circumspect. However before we closed the meeting we asked one young lady if she wanted to receive Jesus and she said yes at which time I led her in the sinners prayer. Her husband asked ' is my wife now a Christian?'. I said yes because she seemed to be sincere and prayed as you and I did when we received Jesus in our hearts. we expect the husband named RIFA to accept the Lord when we return to their home in a couple of weeks. Pray for him.

we send all of you an Easter greetings and as we pray for you pray for us.. as Bro Gause taught me there is no greater service

your brother
