As many of you know on Friday I will be going to see my wonderful girlfriend Helen in China. She and I have been together for 9 months and we are looking to God to guide our future. I will return to the UK on 3rd August arriving back 4th
Please pray for the following things
That God would guide both of us.. we both feel God has brought us together and Pray that His will would be done in both our lives
That I would adjust quickly as I go to China and be able to speak and read the Language.. I can speak some Mandarin
That God would bless Ming.. who is Helen's 15 year old Daughter. that she would accept me. She loves the Lord.. but it is going to be difficult for her
That I would be a blessing to Helen's family. Both of our families are unsaved. Please pray that God would move
Practical Things

THE NEARNESS OF GOD
by Octavious Wimslow
"A God at hand, says the Lord."--Jer. 23:23
More saints than Luther have felt a personal interest in the forty-sixth Psalm--"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble;" thus drinking with him of the "river the streams whereof make glad the city of God." My soul, are you not one of them? Has not your praiseful exclamation often been, "You are NEAR, O Lord!" God is everywhere, but it is only His own children who forcibly feel, and gratefully acknowledge, and holily exhibit, not His omniscience only, but His especial and personal presence. Look at this precious truth, my soul, in connection with two or three features of your varied experience.
He is a God at hand in the person of Christ. The Lord Jesus brings God very near to us. He is not only the revealed One of God, but He is in His own person really and absolutely God--"He who has seen Me, has seen the Father." Could a mere creature, a man only, say this? Impossible, with any truth, and without blasphemy. Oh, how near to us has Jesus brought the Father! Come to Jesus, look at Jesus, listen to Jesus, and realize that in so doing you approach to, gaze upon, and hear the voice of, God your Father in heaven.
God is near in the work of Jesus. The blood brings us sinners near to God, as it brings a sin-pardoning God near to us. "You that were afar off are made near by the blood of Christ." See then your true and present standing, O my soul! Nothing comes between you and God but the atoning blood of Jesus. His blood annihilates all your sin and guilt. Robed in His imputed righteousness, you are to God nearer than the highest angel in heaven--and nearer you can not be--and God draws near to you and speaks--"A God at hand, says the Lord."
God is near at hand when you do approach Him in prayer. Oh, comforting truth! A God at hand to hear the softest breath of prayer--to listen to every confession of sin--to every cry of need--to every utterance of sorrow--to every wail of woe--to every appeal for counsel, strength, and support. Arise, O my soul! and give yourself to prayer; for God is near at hand to hear and answer you. Listen to His word, "Who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto Me? says the Lord." "You meet him that rejoices and works righteousness, those who remember You in Your ways."
A God at hand is He in every time of trouble. "A very present help." Not far have you to travel for the guidance and deliverance you need. If forsaking the Lord your God you go down into 'Egypt' for help, and trust in the chariots and horses thereof, then will you be ashamed of your confidence. But why fly to creature help, when the Lord your God is near unto you in all that you call upon Him for? Cease from man; for God in Christ is very near, and one step of believing prayer will bring you to His feet.
Oh, live as in His presence! Be your life a life of communion, doing and enduring, toiling and suffering, as beholding Him who is invisible. In a little while we shall pass from our partial and imperfect realizations of His presence when on earth, to enjoy His full, unclouded, and eternal presence in heaven! Then shall our eyes see the King in His full unveiled beauty, not as now, through a glass darkly, but then face to face. And, oh transporting thought! we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
Guard vigilantly and strive prayerfully against that which creates a conscious distance between God and your soul. Is it theworld?--come out of it. Is it the creature?--relinquish it. Is it the flesh?--mortify it. Is it sin?--forsake it. Is it unbelief?--nail it to the cross. Oh, let nothing separate you from Christ--no earthly good or carnal delight cause a distance, or coldness, or shyness between God and your soul. Give Jesus your undivided heart, and let God be your all in all. Then shall your happy experience be--"You are NEAR, O Lord."

"Positioned For Victory"
"And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine." 1 Samuel 17:40
The Bible calls those who are followers of Christ soldiers. That's because we are always engaged in warfare- spiritual warfare. We have an enemy that is bent on our destruction and he doesn't give up. We also have our own flesh that we have to battle with on a daily basis to keep it crucified. Because we are in a warfare the Lord has provided us with all the weapons that we need to do battle. Not only do we have powerful weapons at our disposal but we have already been promised victory. So why aren't we victorious?
Perhaps it's because of what you do when you face the enemy. As soldiers there are only two positions for us to hold. We either "run to" the enemy, or we take our stand and face him, but we never run away from him.
David ran (drew near) to the giant. He didn't run away from Goliath, and neither did he wait for Goliath to come to him. He made the first move toward the enemy. Stop running from your battles. Stop waiting for them to come to you. Run out there and meet them. Run out there un-intimidated knowing that the Lord is with you, that He is on your side and that greater is He that is in you, knowing that you have been promised victory because the Lord is with you fighting the battle.
In the Book of Ephesians we are told what our armor is. After we were told that we have an enemy that we have to battle, we were told why we needed to be equipped- so we can "stand". That word stand means to dig your heels in, don't move, don't back up, stand your ground, get yourself a good footing and don't leave that position.
Have you been running from your enemy? Have you been turning your back on him? Have you been waiting for him to come to you? From now on you need to change your position in battle. Don't wait for him to come to you, run out there and slay him. Don't turn and run from him, take a stand and face him.
Have a great day. Victory has been given to you, but you will never experience it if you are running in retreat.

A Lasting Peace
True lasting peace God shall birth, on this present troubled earth,
His lasting peace soon will come, through Jesus for a millennium.
Peace will flourish all around; when for a time Satan will be bound,
For a time of one thousand years, He’ll put away all present fears.
It will be a time for all men to see, God’s Glorious King of Eternity,
Reigning per His Father’s will, and from Jerusalem, God’s Holy Hill.
True peace installed shore to shore, by our Savior, Christ The Lord,
Peace in every land and nation, by God’s redemption and salvation.
This peace ushered in by Christ, will indeed affect every single life.
For God’s Righteous Law will be, enforced as His universal decree.
All who oppose the Law of God, will see firsthand Christ’s Iron Rod,
For the rebellious heart of man, in Christ’s Kingdom shall not stand.
All men will be under Christ’s Rule, a Righteous reign far from cruel,
Under Christ’s Millennial Reign, gone shall be man’s terror and pain.
Every nation will have a place, in the kingdom through God’s Grace,
Even Israel’s unrighteous enemies, will have a place in God’s peace.
God’s Millennial Reign of Righteousness, shall usher in eternal bliss,
As Satan bound, will now be cast, into the fire that will eternally last.
Gone shall be death and sin, with only righteousness reigning within,
Each and every soul forevermore, eternally serving Christ their Lord.

The work and ministry of sermonindex can be encapsulated in this one word: REVIVAL. sermonindex is not a organisation, business, or any attempt by man to build something for God. It is rather a expression of a heart burden to see the Church revived and brought back to holiness, purity, and power with God. Re: KEITH's Spiritual Steps
PRUDENCE
Scripture: Proverbs 12:16 "A prudent man ignores an insult."
Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, wrote this proverb concerning a prudent man's response to insults. One of the definitions of 'prudent' is "to be careful with respect to one's own interest and conduct." Solomon stated that it was not in our best interest to give in to the evil voices of other people. When we allow ourselves to be provoked by others and we respond to them in anger or defense, we are allowing the offender to control us and we are also allowing our anger to dictate our conduct. We play right into the hands of the enemy of our soul, which allows him to bring us down to his level.
In these situations, we fail to realize that we are wrestling with spirits, not flesh and blood. In the passion of the moment we fail to use good judgment in handling the matter and speak foolish words that are generated by our pain. Sometimes, we go away for a moment and plan a response that becomes harsher than the words that we've received. We can't seem to turn the other cheek as Jesus taught us to do because we feel a need to get even.
Yet, King Solomon told us to be prudent and ignore the insult. He held a secret inside of himself. He knew that if he could exhibit control over himself, then he was, in a sense, displaying the greatness of his own character. He spoke again in Proverbs 16:32 and said, "A man that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and the man who can rule his own spirit is better than a man who can take a city." In other words, Solomon said, "You must be in control of your anger. You must be in control of your spirit." This quiet strength will prove who is the mightiest. The winner is not the one with the sharpest tongue, but the one who can control his tongue. What a challenge it is to control this small member of our body. What a display of wisdom, just to simply ignore harsh words and accusations. What a victory to be like Jesus when He faced His accusers. "Jesus gave no answer or reply, not even to a single accusation, so that the governor marveled greatly" (Matthew 27:12).

Re: KEITH's Spiritual Steps
The Importance of Disciplining our Body Zac Poonen
The New Testament places great emphasis on the discipline of our bodily members-especially of the ear, the eye and the tongue. In
Romans 8:13, Paul says that we cannot enjoy spiritual life if we do not mortify the deeds of the body through the power of the Spirit. In
1 Corinthians 9:27, he tells us how severely he disciplined his own body. No matter what experience of sanctification we may have had, we still
need to discipline our bodily members, as Paul did, till the end of our lives, if we are to be holy.
We must be disciplined about the kind of conversation we give our ears to. We cannot afford to spend our time listening to gossip and slander and then expect our ears to be attuned to hear God's Voice.
Our eyes need to be disciplined in what they are permitted to look at and read-especially in these days. More than one missionary and servant of God has fallen into immorality because he did not habitually control his eyes. How many more are perpetually falling in their thought-life, because of indiscipline in this area. "Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity," should be our constant prayer (Psa. 119:37).
Our tongues too need to be under the control of the Holy Spirit. Perhaps there is no greater spreader of spiritual death in the Christian Church than the human tongue. When Isaiah saw God's Holiness, he was convicted chiefly of the way he had been using his tongue. Apparently he had not realized this until he saw himself in God's light.
Jeremiah was told by the Lord that he could be God's mouthpiece only if he was careful about the way he used his tongue-if he separated the valueless from the precious in his conversation (Jer. 15:19).
These prophets could not afford to be careless about the way they used their tongues, or they would have forfeited the privilege of being God's spokesmen. They could not indulge in loose conversation, idle chatter, gossip, slander and criticism and get away with it. They would have lost their calling thereby. This could be one reason why we have hardly
any prophets in our day.
If God has ever put His Word on our lips, then a solemn obligation is upon us to guard these lips for His service alone. We cannot offer a member of our bodies for His use one day and the next day take it back for use at our own discretion. Whatever is once presented to Him is eternally His."
As in the physiology of the body, a doctor can often assess our state of health by looking at our tongues, so too in the spiritual realm, James tells us that the way a man uses his tongue is a test of his spirituality (Jas. 1:26). He makes bold to say that if a man can control his tongue he is a perfect man (Jas. 3:2).

Psalm 27:14
His Time, Not Ours
"Lord, give me patience, and give it to me now!" We all have heard this little quip and seen it on bumper stickers, magnets, etc., always bringing a smile to our faces. And why not? Our society expects immediate accomplishments in almost everything we do ~ from microwave meals in minutes to global communication in seconds.
It seems, whatever the problem, there should be a button, switch, or pill to deliver fast results. Which makes it all the more difficult to accept that, like it or not, spiritual growth takes time.
In a garden, all seedlings have average schedules of development. But as human beings with unique histories and needs, we can't rely on averages to determine when we might take that next step in our walk with God.
It is tempting, when faced with a spiritual flaw or growth issue, to pray for and expect immediate change. Sometimes it happens. But we feel down and confused when our prayers don't bring the instant relief we seek.
It's good to remember, that all facets of our nature are part of our God-created being. Even our less than desirable parts are there for a reason and contain His lessons for us.
When change seems to come slowly, don't give up hope. Consider that the timetable for your growth is in the Lord's hands. Continue your daily communion with God and trust your spirit to be healed in His time.

PRAISE AS WARFARE by Sylvia Gunther |
Praise is adoration of God for who He is, His person, His character, His names. It is loving God because He is God. The Bible gives more exhortations to praise than to pray, because God is altogether lovely, holy, and completely worthy of our worship. Reasons to praise Praise is the atmosphere of the throne room of heaven. Rev 4 Praise is where God lives. Ps 22:3 Praise provides access into His presence. Ps 100 We are created for praise. Eph 1:12, Isa 43:21 We are saved to praise. Ps 106:47 God delights in it. Ps 149:1, 4 God inspires it. Ps 40:3 God is due it. Ps 29 God commands it in the Scriptures. Ps 34:1, 3 Jesus modeled it by example. Matt 6:9 Praise is the God-given garment in exchange for spirit of heaviness. Isa 61:3 Praise stirs up faith. Rom 4:20-21 I am not sure what battle you are facing today, but you are probably facing one. Praise is a strategic weapon that comes before spiritual victory or deliverance. God releases power against the enemy when His people praise. Praise has been winning wars throughout the ages. Take a look at these biblical examples. Joshua 5:14-15, 6:2 Joshua bowed to worship, and God told him that Jericho was already in his hands. As the Israelites marched around the city, they walked out the victory already won in worship. Judges 7:15 Gideon bowed to worship, returned to his camp, and reported, "Arise, God has given the enemy into our hands." 2 Chronicles 20:22 "When they began singing and praising..." The Israelites used praise at God's direction for winning a tremendous victory. They had not even reached the battlefront when God acted and completely destroyed their three-fold enemy. Acts 16:25-26 Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns. Suddenly a violent earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. The prison doors flew open, and prisoners were set free. It is sometimes more important to persevere in praise than to continue to petition. Why? Because in praise, we take our eyes off people and stop struggling on the human level. We focus our spiritual eyes on God and see beyond ourselves and our problem. Then we can lay hold of His infinite ability, availability, and sovereignty. Praise stirs up our faith to stand in His mighty name. Because God has already judged the adversary, and he is a defeated foe. Praise executes upon him the judgments that God has already written (Ps 149:6-9). Because praise acknowledges the victory Christ already won. Jesus is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name in this age (Eph 1:20-21). His victory over Satan was legally accomplished at Calvary. Praise speeds victory in our prayer battles. Let's use our valuable weapon of praise for the battles we are facing today and see how God delivers us. |

Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Prov 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
My Comments
We are living in a generation that seems to think we can borrow ourselves our of debt! Even the government seems to think so! Being in debt always makes the borrower a servant to the lender. The borrower owes a part of himself to the lender. As Christians we are admonished to owe no man anything but to love him. Sad, but in times of great prosperity man usually goes deeper into debt instead of getting out of debt! As he does he becomes more and more of a servant to the one he borrows from! Thank the Lord that forgiveness, grace and mercy is without price or none of us would be able to afford it! Those who have experienced that forgiveness, grace and mercy have a great desire to show their appreciation for it by becoming a doer of all God says. All things have become new in their life and they are now going in a different direction than before. Our love for Him demands that we become obedient to every word that He says. Being deep in debt financially will hinder us in our love for the Lord. I believe that every Christian should get rid of all credit cards and began to work toward paying off everything they owe. The interest on credit cards will eat you alive! We should be a servant to the Lord and Him alone and that willingly not grudgingly! We cannot do that when we owe everything we make to others! Meditate on it!
Prayer
Father God, forgive us for getting into debt that we are unable to pay. Give us wisdom to be good stewards of everything that You give us.Forgive us when we get our priorities all mixed up. We ask, believe we receive, and give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Re: KEITH's Spiritual Steps
I love this blessed time and especially Good Friday. The Lord has laid something on my heart you could use.
When we look at the closeness of the Father and the So all through the gospels and indeed scripture.. but as we read John 17.. we see the Beautiful relationship between the Father and the Son. In that context we can put the cross.
It says in Isaiah that it pleased the Lord to bruise his son.. to hurt him. When Jesus says take this cup from me.. the cup talks of God's wrath.
The nails were bad enough for Jesus to suffer... the crown of thorns bad enough.. to be despised and rejected of men was bad enough but even worse was to be rejected by God.. when Jesus said My God my God why have you deserted me..,the pain of being rejected by his Father. It says cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree.. what Jesus became a curse.. he took the curse.. he took the wrath of God that was meant for us. God poured out every bit of his righteous and just wrath on the darling Son of heaven
I don't think we can ever understand what happened on Calvary.. maybe we can understand a little of the physical pain.. but we can never imagine the devastating estrangement of the love relationship between Father and Son broken at that time as the Father laid on his son.. the complete iniquity of the whole world.. we need to get a real grasp of this.. The pain of being virtually rejected by an earthly Father is bad enough, but Jesus experienced the loss of his Father .. the one who he is co existent with in Glory...
May we realise what It cost our beloved Saviour

Recognise That You Are Not Indispensable
Zac Poonen
No one is indispensable in Christ's church. God's work can easily carry on without us. In fact, it can carry on much better without the help of those conceited folk who consider themselves indispensable! We must recognise this fact constantly. I once read of a prescription to humble the soul of anyone who considered himself “indispensable”! It was suggested that he fill a bucket with water and put his hand in it up to his wrist - and then pull it out. The hole that remains in the water will be a measure of how much he will be missed when he is gone!! Our gifts are useful to the church; but no-one is indispensable.
We must be willing to withdraw into the background anytime God calls us to. But the self-centered Christian worker will never accept that. He will want to hold on to his position for as long as possible. Many such "Christian leaders" are rotting away on their "thrones" today, hindering the work of God. They do not know what it is to fade graciously into the background and let someone else take their place.
You've probably heard the saying that success without a successor is a failure. Jesus recognised this and trained people to carry on His work. In 3½ years He had trained others to take over the leadership of His work. What an example for us to follow!
Paul recognised the necessity of training other people to carry on the work. In 2 Timothy 2:2, he told Timothy, “What I have committed to you, I want you to pass on to other people who will in turn be able to train others (the fourth generation)" (Paraphrase). What Paul was saying in effect was, "You must ensure that you commit this treasure to others. Don't ever hinder people younger than you, from coming up." Even businessmen recognise the principle that “success without a successor is a failure”. But many Christian leaders haven’t recognised it. Truly, "the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light." (Lk.16:8).
It is indeed nothing but self-centeredness that makes a man jealous of someone younger who can do things better than he can. Cain was jealous of the fact that God had accepted Abel but rejected him. If Abel had been older than him, that might have been tolerable. But it was the awful fact that his younger brother was better than him that made him furious enough to slay Abel.
We see the same in the case of Joseph and his brothers. Joseph received divine revelations, and that made all his ten older brothers green with jealousy – so jealous that they wanted to kill him.
King Saul was jealous of young David, because the women sang, "Saul has slain thousands while David has slain ten thousands." From that day he determined to kill him. Man's history - and alas, the history of the Christian church too - is filled with the same story over and over again.
Likewise, the elderly Pharisees were jealous of the popularity of the young Jesus of Nazareth and determined to get him crucified, at any cost.
On the other hand, what a refreshing contrast it is to look at a man like Barnabas in the New Testament. He was a senior worker who took the newly converted Paul under his wing, when no one else would accept Paul. Barnabas brought him to the church in Antioch and encouraged him. In Acts chapter 13, we read that Barnabas and Paul went out together on a missionary journey. And when Barnabas saw that God was calling this junior worker, Paul, to a larger ministry than his own, he willingly stepped back and graciously faded into the background. And the phrase, "Barnabas and Paul" changes almost unnoticed to "Paul and Barnabas" in the book of Acts. The Christian church suffers today, because there are few like Barnabas who know what it is to step back and let another be honored. We are willing to step back in matters of no importance. When passing through a door, for example, we don't mind stepping back and permitting another to go through first. But in the things that matter - such as position and leadership in the Christian church - we are not so ready to step back. Our self-life is so deceitful. We can have a false humility in things that don't count. But it is in important matters that we see ourselves as we really are.

My Manna
Maybe you are doing exactly what God wanted you to do.
God wants us to be faithful in whatever tasks!
He sets before us-
- including the ordinary responsibilities of life,
- although they aren't "ordinary" in His eyes!.
Do you remember Joseph?
The husband of Jesus' mother, Mary?
As far as most people were concerned-
Joseph was just an ordinary man who never did anything special in life.
He and Mary were poor, and after they settled in Nazareth-
Joseph spent the rest of his life as a humble carpenter.Matthew 13:55.
He never preached or did missionary work.
He simply raised his family and did his job to the best of his ability.
But how did God see Joseph?
Out of all the families in the world-
God entrusted His Son to Mary and Joseph.
God knew Joseph would be the perfect father for Jesus (although in reality God was Jesus' father, not Joseph).
Because of Mary and Joseph's faithfulness, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men." Luke 2:52.
Thank God for the responsibilities He gave you.
Thank Him too for His forgiveness when you fell short.
But thank Him most of all for Jesus Christ.
And that someday soon you will go to be with Him in Heaven if you have trusted Him as your Lord and Saviour.
To bless you from Pastor Ron
When the boss says, “Go take a flying leap!” some people will get right to it with no questions asked. But I’m an engineer, and I need to know all the possible outcomes before I do something crazy like that.
About 15 years ago I was working in an engineering department for the Detroit’s “Big Three.” We were struggling with a project that was already behind schedule; but, I really wanted to run a few more tests – just to be absolutely sure…
My Boss called me into his office and pointed to a plaque on his wall:
“There comes a time in every program when you have to shoot the engineer and go into production.”
In other words, sometimes you can be absolutely sure… sometimes you have to go with what you know and take the rest on faith. That’s not just true in engineering…
There comes a time in every Christian’s life when they have to ignore their doubts and put their faith in the Lord.”
El-Shaddai, one of the Hebrew names for God, can be translated as “The God Who is all Sufficient.” In Genesis 17:1, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty (El-Shaddai); walk before me and be blameless.” What was the Lord saying? “Trust Me, Abram! Have faith, Abram! What you know about Me must overcome what you don’t understand!” (Gen. 17:1; Ex 6:3)
Again in Exodus 6:3, the Lord said, “I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty (El-Shaddai), but by my name the Lord (Jehovah) I did not make myself known to them.” He told them He was El-Shaddai, the all sufficient God Almighty; but, He did not reveal everything about Himself to them. They were not able to answer all their questions or be absolutely sure…they were required to act on the basis of things they could not figure out on their own.
Has God ever led you right up to the edge of disaster and asked you to take the blind leap into a future you could not see? The chill of fear has frozen you in place and you listen to His voice urging you to ignore rational thinking and place your faith in Him like you never have before.
“…Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe. Thomas said to Him, My Lord and my God!" (John 20:27-28)
May we see the things of God that He shows us every day and accept Him as El-Shaddai – All Sufficient. May we stop doubting and believe. May we respond to Him like Thomas, “My Lord and my God!”

Tell the devil today, he is a liar! He will not take your joy,
Your peace or disturb your spirit.
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:19-20 KJV.Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell GOD what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in CHRIST JESUS."...(PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 Eph 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 1:3¶ blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours are the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus Christ I Pray Amen."

Re: KEITH's Spiritual Steps
To bless you from Denny
Last evening, when I laid my head down to rest, the Lord spoke to me with such importantance that I was to write to you all and warn you of the coming days ahead!
The warning is that there are many, many things that are happening today that are nothing more than diversions to draw your attention away from Jesus! For, you see, there is a god of this world that has set himself up as the master supreme to do everything to destroy you and your focus on Jesus! If he can, by whatever means, do that, he will have won the war. The war is for each of you and each of you make up part of the large group that he wants so very much to divide and destroy!
Do you hear? He does not want to cripple you, he wants to destroy you and he can do that by simply giving you directions and plans within plans to seek out for yourself!
ANYTHING TO TAKE YOUR FOCUS OFF OF JESUS!!!
That's the plan in a nutshell!
So, this is what you have to do, you must put aside any and all paths you have been given to chase after, there is nothing more important than totally following Jesus in everyway!
All the devices that you are working on mean nothing, only seeking Jesus and His life within you!
This word by Susan Cummings, came from a very close friend whom I care a great deal for, I pray you will read and chew each word!
Through Jesus alone,
Denny
Learning to be a Servant!
Take Care To Walk In My Footprints by Susan Cummings
"Take care to walk in My footprints. I have given you the directions and the pace, but you must daily seek My face. Do not take for granted the day that unfolds ahead of you, but know that step by step, I will guide you. You must continually set your face to follow Me and to seek Me for each thing that comes. There are many diversions and distractions that are set up by the enemy to lure you into works and to pressure you to act ahead of My will and council. Take heed to check with Me before you proceed and act.
This is not a time to step out ahead of Me, as many are doing in this hour. You must remain with me, no matter how great the pressure, no matter how dire the situation, no matter the person or people involved. I am your continual wisdom and your strength. If you choose to go out ahead of Me, you will no longer have My Grace, My Wisdom, nor My Anointing. Put no one or nothing ahead of Me, or you will drift away and be in the snare of the enemy. Then it will be the wiles of the enemy that will surely defeat you and overwhelm you.
I have called you to walk in My Rest. I have called you to walk with Me. I have called you to walk in My strength and victory, but it only comes as you are yoked to Me. Take heed to your steps and take heed to guard your heart, and do not let your heart be given to another, or to other things. You must remain with Me continually.
The hour is not as it once was, and you cannot walk in Me as you did yesterday and still remain close to me. You must walk in utter abandonment to Me, and give Me your plans everyday. I have the path ordered for you, but it must be as I have chosen for you, and not what you want it to be. You cannot make Me conform to your will, but you must conform your will and life to Me.
The enemy desires to bring greater stress, fear, and anxiety upon those who will look unto the world and unto men rather than look unto Me. The world has no answer for those who are Mine. But those who walk in their own counsels will fall under the weights and the penalty of their choices. I have given the Standard by which all men can walk, but it is discarded and even scorned. Wave after wave will come and go, but only Mine will stand and prosper and know. Oh, how I desire that all would follow Me. But the heart is deceitful and wicked and will lead many astray, for they do not seek the Truth nor love My reproof.
Put no family member or friend before Me. Put no business before Me. Put no job before Me. Put no earthly desire before Me. I am to be everything to you, or I will be nothing. I am your life, your strength, your wisdom, and your daily answer. Let Me guide you and bring you into a greater liberty in Me. I have more for you to accomplish, but I want you to do it in agreement with Me. You are stepping forth into your destiny, and the enemy knows that you see, so he comes to derail all who will not stand firm in Me and prevail.
Bring every case and situation before Me to judge and to solve for you, and leave the cares of the world at My feet. You cannot judge things as you desire to, but it must be with My judgments, then will you truly stand. You cannot continue to carry those things that I have already borne for you. You must only carry what I give to you. You must refrain from taking to yourself undue burdens and pressures and weights, and leave those things to Me. I will show you what to do. You must stay continually in step with Me.
You must daily walk in the prints of My shoes."

From Keith To bless you
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Draw me close to You. Put Your thoughts in my mind and Your desires in my heart. Help me grow more into Your likeness today. …
"For the kingdom of God depends not on talk but on power" (1 Corinthians 4:20).
When we pray, as You taught us to pray, for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done, we are praying for the power of God to manifest the kingdom of God here on earth, just as it is in heaven. The coming of Your kingdom is not demonstrated by our nice sermons, our clever teachings, or our good church services. It's demonstrated by the coming rule and reign of Christ. "Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24).
Through the power of God in Christ, souls are saved and sanctified, sin is forgiving and cleansed, minds are renewed and freed, bodies are healed and delivered, relationships are strengthened and restored, and all creation is redeemed and transformed. And the driving force of all this power of God to change us and all creation is the love of God, for "God is love" (1 John 4:8).
The kingdom of God is a kingdom of love. And love comes from within us, just as "thekingdom of God is within (us)" (Luke 17:21). Your power is made manifest on earth as it is in heaven as the power of Your love is made manifest in our lives and through our lives each day. When You said to Your first disciples of the first generation, just as You say to all Your disciples of all generations, "I give you power and authority …", You gave them power and authority to love (see Luke 9:1 and 10:1). As You "sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal" -- just as You continue to send us out -- You send us to love (Luke 9:2). For love is the power of God. And we love, because You first loved us (1 John 4:19).
You laid down Your life in love for us and call us to lay down our lives in love for one another -- not in talk, but in power; not in lofty words, but in obedient action (1 John 4:11). As we do, Your kingdom comes and Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Help me love in power, not just in talk, today and every day. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Good day
To My Precious Child
You Can't Earn My Love
Child of Mine, you know that My love is given freely and unconditionally
to all who are called by the name of My Son, and that you do not have
to do anything to earn it. And yet, so many of My own do not fully
believe this in their hearts, and they are constantly trying to "earn"
My love.
Many of My own have convinced themselves that I will love them more on
those days when they do more for Me, or on those days when they pray more,
or on those days when they walk in a higher level of obedience. They are
confusing My pleasure with My love, for it does please Me when My children
do these things, but it does not make Me love them any more. My love for
each of you is just as perfect on your "bad days" as it is on your good
ones.
If you tell yourself that I love you more for doing good things, then
you are in essence saying that I love you less on the days when you
don't do them--and that is simply not the case. You are My precious
child; you have been purchased at a very great price and I love you
dearly in all things.
Yet, it is true that you please Me when you do the things that I ask of
you, and when you abstain from the things that I did not like. It is
also true that you cause Me great pleasure when you stand in faith and
it causes Me pleasure when you are hungry for My presence, when you
pursue Me and My ways in love. It is also true that I will most surely
reward you for each of these things that cause Me pleasure.
Just as I will reward you when you seek to please Me, I also bring
My correction into your life when you do the things that displease Me or
that cause Me grief. My correction is not a withdrawal of My love; rather,
it is an extension of it.
I am your loving Heavenly Father and I will correct (and at times chasten)
those who I love. I do not do this out of anger or out of a desire to
punish you. I do it because it would be a lack of love to let you
continue in the wrong ways that cause you harm. Those ways may appear to
give you pleasure for a brief season, but they will bring much brief in
to your life. I love you too much to let you pursue such things in a way
where you will reap the great harm that those things will inevitably yield.
That is why I bring My correction and My chastening into your life--not
because I don't love you, but because I love you too much to let you
keep hurting yourself.
I want you to know that you are loved and valued in those times where I
have to bring stern correction into your life. And even as My hand of
correction lands upon you, you can be assured that I am eagerly waiting
for you to turn from the path of destruction so that I may once again
pour out My blessings on you.
I want you to know with a certainty that I still love you even on those
days when you feel isolated, unspiritual, numb (or almost dead) to the
things of My kingdom. I will not leave you in this place. I will be
actively at work in your life to breathe My life back into you, and to
draw you back to Myself.
Likewise, on those days where you walking in faith and obedience, where
you are intentionally doing good things in order to please Me... know
that these things will not cause Me to love you any more, because My
love for you is already perfect. BUT they will give Me great pleasure,
and I am One Who loves to reward those who please Me. While you will
not earn an increase of My love, you will indeed earn an increase of My
pleasure upon you; and that will yield increased rewards and increased
blessings in your life.
You never have to "earn" My love, but you will do well when you seek
to bless Me with by doing things that you please Me, when you pursue
things like faith, holiness, obedience and intimacy. For the more you
seek to please Me, the more you will see My tangible blessings pour out
upon you.

"Beloved, let us love one another:
for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God,
and knoweth God."
1John 4:7
Show Love ~ One to Another
There is so much hatred in the world today.
But we cannot love God and hate a person at the
same time.
We can dislike someone's actions and ways,
but love and hate are two opposites
which cannot dwell in a human heart.
The spirit God has given to His believing children
through faith in Christ Jesus,
is a spirit of love.
But a hater is a murderer
because they kill someone with a slow death.
God wants us to love everyone just as He has.
This doesn't mean God requires us to have
a feeling of affection for everyone.
And loving our enemies doesn't mean that
we must think of them as agreeable people.
But we are to still love them.
Even as we look at some things in ourselves
with disbelief and shame,
so we hate a person's actions, but not the person.
As we hate our own cowardice, selfishness, conceit,
greed, lust, and pride and still go on
loving ourselves,
so should we do the same for others.
We are to feel sorry for their evil and pray for
their repentence.
We are to love everyone,
even though there appears to be nothing lovable
about them.
And when we find that difficult,
let us remember that is what Christ has done for us.
Some may not seem deserving of our love,
but neither are we deserving of Christ's love.
Let us love one another!

FROM SISTER SHANNA
"I Have Loved You With An Everlasting Love"
Beloved Servant-sis shanna
Brothers and sisters, I strongly believe the Lord wants me to give you this word from Him, in this hour while there is still a little time to do so.
"I Have Loved you With An Everlasting Love, You Are Mine."
Our God has wanted our love from the very beginning of time, when He walked in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day.
Yet first man and woman turned in disobedience to self, rather in making their relationship with the Father their priority, loving the Lord God with all of their heart, soul, and strength.
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
He is calling each one of us to turn from ourselves and love Him with all of our hearts, with all of our soul, and with all of our might.
He loves each one of us with everything He is.
He created each of us to love and be loved. He created us to love Him, and when He manifested Himself as a man, Jesus Christ-Yeshua, He came to redeem you to Himself for each of you to see how much He loves you, as a man He would allow Himself to go through the greatest physical, and emotional pain, as he gave of Himself to hang on that excruciating cross until death.
It didn't end there, because He rose from the dead on the third day and He lives, making intercession to the Father for all that have received His love, and make Him their Lord and Savior, laying our selves down to live for Him, as overcomers of the world the flesh and the devil.
We belong to him now, we do not belong to ourselves, and what He wants and wanted that day as He hung on that cross, was to redeem us to Himself, that we would belong to Him and would give Him our lives and all of our love from the very fiber of our being.
Satan's plan from the beginning was to draw each of us to himself, and away from God, he wanted to be worshiped as God, and each time we sin or chase after the things of this world, he is drawing us away from our Father God and our love wanes more and more until Abba is put on a back burner. When we put every other thing before Him, we come out from that secret place in Him and we are more vulnerable to satans schemes and we can be moved out of the hedge of protection. Just as satan got Job out of the protection of the hedge.
Psalm 91 is the word for this hour we are in, these are promises God is making to those who love Him.
Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under theshadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psa 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psa 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Abiding is the key to every protection we read about in Psalm 91. These promises are not for those who are mouth professors, but for those who make it a point to pour their heart out to him, that separate themselves from the love of the world and it's system, and remain in Him as we go through out the day.
There cannot be any other loves that take His place, because when there is, He withdraws and we can move out from beneath His wings.
Our main focus should be worshiping Him in truth and Spirit, for Him to be our daily portion, and to put our full trust in him, the author and finisher of our faith. And to go and teach others about His love for us, and how we are to love him and our neighbors as ourselves.
I know that many in other countries , (specifically Africa) may read this and because of traditions of men you may have never heard this, nor learned to make it a part of your life. I want you to know that our whole reason to become a Christian is to come to know the Lord and to have an abiding relationship with Him. To love him more then your own lives.
Rather then a dead religion, it is a living abiding walk with the Lord in the Spirit, rather then by works of the flesh, it isn't in following tradition in dead works, but following the living Lord in love, with our whole hearts and to tell the world about our wonderful Lord, who laid His life down on the cross, to bring us back into relationship with Him, a relationship we lost in disobedience.
Joh 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
The Lord has commanded us to preach the gospel and teach His own how He loves them enough to die for them, and that we are to love him and our neighbors as ourselves.
This is the gospel in a nutshell, it is all about loving Him and our neighbors, near and far this shows the world He lives in us.
The Lord has shown us how to live, He has given us His word so that we have a road map to follow on the way into the kingdom.
They are living words, given to us by inspiration of the Holy Spirit through godly men of God.
The word of God is alive and it will change you, it will change your heart, just speak forth the word, proclaim its truth it so it gets into your hearts. You are a new creation.
If you do not surrender your will to the Lord God,(Yahweh) you will follow after satan, as he will continue to put roadblocks and temptations before you, if you follow after your own desires, ultimately you will become a follower of satan rather then a follow of God.
I know it has always been hard for people to love a God who they could not see, that is why so many made idols to worshi, which God hates.
So thus, he came as a man, He manifested as the Son of God, Jesus Christ, Yeshua, so that He could be seen, and touched and known intimately.
The disciples knew him intimately, especially John who would rest his head upon Yeshua's chest in adoration.
But now we have God's word as a living testimony of His love for us, when He came as a man. No man has ever laid his life down for us in such a terrible manner of death, the most painful way to die, not even a friend nor anyone that ever lived but Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
My brothers and sisters, he did this because He loves you, and me and He is worthy of all of our hearts, all of our love, He is worthy of our laying down our own lives in love for Him.
He is not some far off God, he is ever Present with you, and His Presence is manifested to you when you pour your love out to him in worship.
When you sin or walk in the flesh, or pay Him no heed, He withdraws Himself, though He is near when you call, when you come to him with all your heart.
You don't have to wait, for God to draw you, because he has been doing that for so long and you have been ignoring His call, His gentle tugs at your heart have gone unnoticed, but He is there, He is near and all you have to do is say His name, Jesus (Yeshua) and open up your heart and pour your love out to Him. He is worthy of all of our love, He is worthy for us to to lay our lives down, to pick up our cross and follow after Him.
He has been trying to get our attention as soon as we knew there was a God and even before that, in so many ways, unimaginable.
Satan has put so many diversions before us, and the biggest one is money, possessions, or lack thereof, this is his way to draw us away from God and to himself.
In Yahweh God there is no lack, it is in Him that we learn as we trust Him that He will provides for us in supernatural ways. Ways we never dreamed possible, he makes a way out of no way. Hebrews 11:1
When our focus is outward to the world and the things of the world, He will not compete for your attention, but when you begin to love Him with all of your heart, He will show you how very much He loves you.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, it is about relationship, not religion. How can you have a relationship with someone you do not truly love, nor trust. Mouthing words that are not from the heart is not a relationship, and whether you know it or not, He knows the difference.
It is not to say that in these coming days as the world is in more and more in chaos as the economy worsens, that we will not go through some trials, but when we absolutely put our hope and trust in Him, and we love Him with all of our hearts, his promises in His word will be fulfilled.
He will hide you, He will supernaturally provide, his angels will keep you just as his word promises, and you will praise Him for He is worthy of all praise and glory.
Beloved one who reads this. God loves you with an everlasting love, He is calling you to Himself, away from the ways of the world, a and all its attraction, to Himself.
He did not die in vain, he has a bride, without spot and wrinkle and that bride loves Him with all of her heart is devoted to him, and the cares of the world and things of the world have no more pull on His bride, for they have let go of everything but him.
To spend eternity with Him, we must know Him and His love for us, and we must be mutual partakers of His love, how can we spend eternity with him never having known Him as our bridegroom.
If you have not known Him in this way, he is calling you to Himself.
He wants you to know Him in a way you have never known, rather then just a God in word only the Lord wants to become real in your life.
He will reveal Himself to you in a real way if you will You will love Him, and keep his commandments.
You shall know that He is there, ever longing for your attention and love.
Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Holy, holy, holy Lord God almighty, Who was Who is, and Is to come, worthy, Holy, Holy, Holy, we bow before Your Majesty the name of the Lord is to be praised! He must increase, I must decrease. Pour out your love Saints, worship the Bridegroom

Megaphones for Christ
READ 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10
Have you ever attended a professional sports event? Many thousands of people cheer & scream as loudly as they can, as if their shouts were actually willing their teams to victory. People certainly get excited about their favorite teams.
How many believers do you know who put that same passion & intensity into their faith? How often do you proclaim the saving truth of Jesus Christ as loudly as a football fan proclaims his allegiance?
In his letter to the church at Thessalonica, the apostle Paul rejoices in the young congregation's passion for telling the world about Christ. Because the city was a busy seaport, he knew that the church there had the ear of the whole world. Travelers would hear the gospel & then take it back to their own communities.
By saying that the word of the Lord had "sounded forth" from the church, Paul painted a powerful word picture (1 Thessalonians 1:8). Long before there were microphones & loudspeakers, a long, curved device known as a sounding board was used to amplify a public speaker's voice. So Paul was praising the Thessalonians for being a living megaphone that proclaimed Christ.
EARLY LIGHT If we're a "fan" of Jesus, then we have the responsibility of sharing w/the world who He is & what He has done. Shout it from the rooftops! Fill entire stadiums w/the thunder of our praise! Don't just show the people around us who our favorite sports team is. Make sure they know who our Savior is too.

Letting God
Surrendering Our Goals & Desires to God
Have you ever heard the phrase "Let go & let God"? This is easier said than done when we must choose between what we want & what we know God would rather have us do. Surrendering personal goals to the will of the Father is essential for healthy spiritual growth. God's Word, prayer, & the presence of the Holy Spirit point us to the truth of the Father's ways & desires for our lives. Looking for God's direction & acknowledging His authority takes surrender, obedience, & dedication.
Surrendering our goals to the Father allows His plan for our lives to flourish (Matt. 16:24-26).
. The disciples surrendered to Jesus' call while they were working & going about their daily lives (Matt. 4:18-22; Luke 5:27,28).
. Jesus' example of submitting to the will of the Father is shown most powerfully in His willingness to die for our sins (Matt. 26:39).
Obedience is required, even when the situation is not anticipated, expected, or fully understood (Heb. 11:8-10).
. Abraham obeyed God when asked to sacrifice his son Isaac (Gen. 22:1-19).
. The apostle Paul obeyed the Lord concerning his travel destination & ministry focus (Acts 16:6-10).
Dedication to God's will strengthen us & builds our faith (Heb. 12:1,2; Rom. 12:2).
. The Father is faithful to equip us through the Holy Spirit for the calling He's placed on our life (Heb. 10:23; 13:20,21).
. We have confidence & boldness as we stand firm in what we know God has led us to accomplish (1 Cor. 15:1, 16:13; 2 Thess. 2:13-17).
David offers believers this encouragement:
"Delight yourself in the LORD; & He will give you the desires of your heart" (Ps. 37:4). When we delight in the Father, we will naturally gravitate to the actions & attitudes that are aligned w/His Word & His will for our lives.
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION
1. Do your goals line up w/God's Word & will?
2. Write a list of goals & plans. Pray over that list, asking the Lord to reveal any impure motives or wrong goals in our life. Commit to following God's priorities & plans.
I would rather walk w/God in the dark than go alone in the light.
By Mary Gardiner Brainard
. . . Be strong & courageous. Do
not be terrified; do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be
w/you wherever you go.
