Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
If We Do Not Lose Heart
(En Español)
The prophet Daniel warns of a time when Satan will "wear down the saints of the Highest One" (Dan. 7:25). How this occurs in the final hours of the age remains to be seen, but this battle is already occurring today. The final effect of what seems like never-ending delays is that believers are worn out.
Do you know anyone who is weary with his or her battle? Are you yourself weary? I know many who seem trapped in situations that should have been remedied months and even years ago, but the battle continues against them. Situations and people, often empowered by demonic resistance, stand in opposition to the forward progress of God’s people. As a result of constant demonic opposition, many Christians gradually accept a quiet, but weighty, oppression on their souls.
This battle to wear out the saints may be rooted in conflicts with children or spouses; perhaps it is some unresolved issue or division within their churches. It may be a work conflict or health battle, yet on and on it goes. Like a skilled and masterful thief, the enemy daily steals the joy, strength and passion of Christians, and many do not even realize what they have lost or how much.
The scale is actually larger than our personal struggles. Consider the various conflicts in the world. Some have continued for generations. We can understand why, even in the midst of great worship and praise by the redeemed, there is a place under the altar in Heaven where the saints continue to ask, "How long, O Lord?" (Rev. 6:10). Fifty-eight times in the Bible, from beginning to end, the phrase how long is echoed by those who grew weary with waiting.
Sometimes the delays are God-ordained to perfect faith and character. On the other hand, there are also occasions when Satan seeks to resist the fulfillment of God’s plans until we grow weary and quit. Satan is the dragon whose goal is to "drag-on" the battle with draining, wearying delays. He persists until we wear out, give up and quit praying.
Additionally, as situations stretch beyond reasonably expected conclusions, weariness of soul can also exacerbate the original situation, leading to fleshly reactions or just overreactions, which also need resolution. We lose patience, eventually seeking relief rather than victory. This compromises the standards of God and conscience.
Perseverance
There is a reason the book of Revelation mentions the word perseverance seven times. Over and over again we see those who persevered and overcame. It is one thing to have vision, another to have godly motives, but neither will carry us to our objectives by itself. We must also persevere.
The root of the word persevere is the word severe. We must face the fact that en route to victory our trials may get severe. Likewise, it is with severe faith---severe or extreme steadfastness---that we inherit the promises of God (Heb. 10:36). James tells us: "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:2-4).
Endurance. Perseverance. Steadfastness. These are the qualities that breed character, that transform the doctrine of Christlikeness into a way of life. "Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect." The key to true maturity, to a life "lacking in nothing," is perseverance.
Character before Breakthrough
We mentioned Daniel earlier as a prophet who warned about Satan’s ploy to wear down the saints. God gave him a vision of the end of the age. Here is what he wrote: "I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them" (Dan. 7:21). This is the nature of the battle. There are times we feel war storming against our souls, overpowering us. But the prophet said the sense of overpowering continued only "until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom" (v. 22).
There is a principle here that, once understood, will lead to victory in our battles. If we endure, if we climb higher into God, if we refuse to lose our trust in God, a time will come when the Ancient of Days enters our circumstances. Looking at our newly developed character, which has grown strong through perseverance, He will pass judgment in favor of our cause. God looks at our character, forged in the fire of overpowering delays and battle, and says, "Good, this is what I was waiting for."
Whatever your battle, whether you are praying for your country or standing for your children, whether your cry is for the lost or for the end of some local or personal conflict, remember: it is not enough to sow the right seeds or even have the right soil. We will only reap “if we do not lose heart" (Gal. 6:9 NKJV).

Perhaps at no other time in history has the spirit of Jezebel had such access to a culture. This immoral spirit has set its goal to corrupt entire generations. Jesus Himself warned about tolerating the influence of this spirit. In fact, He promised, "He who overcomes . . . I will give authority over the nations" in the age to come (Rev. 2:26).
The teachings in this package contain some of the most revealing studies on spiritual discernment available from Pastor Frangipane. Whether you study Francis' book The Three Battlegrounds or the booklet called The Jezebel Spirit (composed of chapters taken from The Three Battlegrounds) or listen to the audio messages, these are eye-opening truths.
We are especially making the booklets available at greatly reduced prices. These resources are excellent for Bible studies and home groups.
"There is a war, a very ancient war . . ." so begins a chapter in pastor's expose'. We know we are in a battle. Here are truths to help us to victory.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
What the Spirit of Jezebel Hates
(En Español)
Perhaps at no other time in history has the spirit of Jezebel had such access to a culture. This immoral spirit has set its goal to corrupt entire generations. Jesus Himself warned about tolerating the influence of this spirit. In fact, He promised, "He who overcomes . . . I will give authority over the nations" in the age to come (Rev. 2:26).
The spirit of Jezebel hates repentance. Her worst fear is that a congregation will begin to mourn over their sins. Though this spirit may intellectually espouse true doctrines, the person's heart will reject the embrace of true repentance.
Jezebel hates humility. Jesus taught that greatness in the kingdom was measured in childlike honesty of heart, not in what we appear to be to others. A true servant-minded ministry is eager to be submitted to other ministries, for spirituality is measured in meekness, not control.
Jezebel hates prayer. Intercessory prayer pries her fingers off the hearts and souls of men. It sets people free in the spirit. When you pray, it binds her. When you pray against immorality, it cripples her. When you pray for a submissive heart, it is like the trampling of Jehu's horse upon her body.
Jezebel hates the prophets, for the prophets speak out against her. The prophets are her worst enemies. When she wars, it is to stir people against the message of the prophetic church. Yet more than her hatred for the prophet ministry, she hates the word they speak. Her real enemy is the spoken Word of God.
Jezebel's ultimate hatred is against God Himself. She hates the grace God lavishes upon His bond-servants, even after they sin. She hates the fact that God will take the weakest and lowliest and use them to bring her down. She hates the holiness and purity of heart that comes from God and surrounds those who serve in His courts.
Let's pray: Father, we submit to You and Your standard of righteousness. We ask for purity, meekness and holiness of heart. Forgive us for our tolerance of the spirit of Jezebel in both our mind and our deeds.
Father, because we submit to You, we have Your authority to resist the devil. We bind, in the name of Jesus, the spirit of Jezebel. We pray against the stronghold of Jezebelic-thinking over our community and our state. We come against the fortresses this demon has built up in the spirit realm in this area, and we ask the Holy Spirit to release captives and plunder the house of Jezebel.
We also pray for faithfulness of eyes and heart to husbands and wives. We release purity of heart and grace to each member of the body of Christ, in our church community. We cover Your people with the blood of Jesus. We loose the joy of a humble and submissive spirit and pull down the imaginations of selfish ambition and pride. In Jesus' name. Amen!

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
When Passover is
Fulfilled in God's Kingdom
(En Español)
"Easter" Or "Passover"?
We all know that the early church did not celebrate Easter with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and marshmallow chickens. The children of the first century church never went on Easter egg hunts. The early Christians celebrated the New Covenant that was fulfilled by Jesus Christ on Passover.
The word Easter actually comes from the Anglo Saxon Eastre, the goddess of spring. As Christianity spread, it became church policy not to undo pagan holidays but, instead, to inject Christian meaning into the cultural paganism of the era. Obviously, colored eggs, rabbits and chickens were not biblical symbols of resurrection but were actually part of the pagan fertility rites of spring.
Although most Christians, myself included, still refer to the season of Christ's resurrection as "Easter," in my heart I look past the cultural traditions surrounding modern Easter and gently call everyone's attention to the great miracle: the resurrection of Christ.
The Church Celebrated Passover
While we can forgive and cover traditions in love, we should not let our traditions obscure the profound truth of God's Word. The early church had great reasons they celebrated the Feast of Passover. This annual tradition was not only commemorative -- it was also prophetic in nature. And while we would expect that the Jewish disciples would celebrate Passover, so also did the Gentile believers. We see this clearly in Paul's letter to the Corinthians. He wrote, "Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast" (1 Cor. 5:7-8).
The Gentile Christians in Corinth was urged by Paul to celebrate the Hebrew Feast of Passover. But the gentiles did not engage in Old Testament rituals as did the Jews. Rather, they approached the feast from its spiritual perspective, focusing on "the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth" (v. 8).
Indeed, the Christian Church kept the Passover not only in remembrance of Israel's deliverance from Egypt but in remembrance of what Christ, their Passover, fulfilled in delivering man from sin.
The Old Testament Passover, for all its powerful intrinsic and literal value, was actually a shadow of what Christ would fulfill on behalf of His followers. Remember, the feasts were shadows of something greater than themselves. Paul said their "substance belongs to Christ" (Col. 2:17). Thus it is absolutely remarkable that, of all days in the calendar year, Christ, the Lamb of God, was slaughtered during Passover. At roughly the same time the high priest was offering a lamb for the sins of the Jews, God was offering His Son for the sins of the world! On the cross was the Lamb of God who came to “take away the sin of the world.” It is Christ's blood that protects us today in the same way the blood on the doorposts symbolized God's protection for Israel in Egypt.
The Kingdom Fulfillment
Yet there was more to the New Covenant reality which the Lord related to His disciples. He said, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God" (Luke 22:15-16).
There is another great fulfillment secured by Christ at the Passover. A season will come within the sequence of end-time events when Christ celebrates the Passover with us in the kingdom of God.
This will be a time when those who are truly Christ's, who have "eaten" the Lamb's flesh and partaken of His blood covenant, are divinely protected during the sequence of end-time judgments. Whether you believe in a pre-, mid- or post-tribulation rapture, God has not destined us for wrath. The Kingdom Passover, fulfilled by the Lamb of God, positions us in the eternal protection of the Almighty.
In whatever manner Jesus' words shall be fulfilled, let us require of ourselves to partake of the whole Lamb and not merely nibble at the comforting verses. Let us diligently apply the Lamb's blood over the doorways to our hearts, as well as over our families and loved ones. And even as the world around us continues its rush toward sin and judgment, let us instead press into God's kingdom. For the time is coming when we shall celebrate the Passover with Christ in the kingdom of God.

March 26, 2013
We know these are difficult times, yet as followers of Christ we were born for times like these! When darkness covers the earth, that's our cue to rise and shine (Isa. 60)!
For those of you that are praying about taking In Christ's Image Training, let me personally encourage you to not be timid. Go ahead and step out in faith. God is reaching to your family and friends. This is an important time, and your advancement into focused training will increase the spiritual "wattage" of God's presence in your life, adding depth and shine to your testimony. Fulfilling your destiny is the reason you are alive.
To help every person who sincerely desires to become more like Christ, we offer the text version of our training for free. While the Free Plan will not include testing, audios or certification, it will put the powerful core training of ICIT right there in your hands each week.
If you know others who might benefit from this online course, feel free to forward this email on. Also, you might be interested in forming a small group of four or more people. When you are in a group, costs are just $58 per person, plus you receive the full course. The interaction between all is also helpful, as is taking time to pray with each other as you seek God for greater conformity to Christ.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Manifested in Our Mortal Flesh
(En Español)
What did Jesus have in mind for His followers when His ministry began? What was His holy objective? I am absolutely convinced that Christ not only came to seek and save the lost, but at the highest levels came to replicate Himself in us. And whether we are just beginning our spiritual journey or we are seasoned servants of many years, true Christianity is nothing less than the living manifestation of Christ in and through us (Gal. 2:20). Indeed, our destiny does not find sure footing until the actual life of Christ emerges through us.
When I speak of Christ, I mean His meekness, His love and redemptive motive. I am speaking of His power and His deep surrender to the Father’s will, which produced His expansive authority over all things. And when I speak of Christ in us, I am not merely referring to the right assemblage of theological precepts, as though salvation was purely a test of doctrines. Our doctrines are important to the degree they germinate into the character and power of Christ living through us.
This inner, Christlike transformation of the church was the utmost concern for Paul. He wrote, "My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you" (Gal. 4:19). For those who hunger for spiritual substance, your food must be Christ Himself, in you, alive, conforming you to His likeness.
Consider also Paul’s words to the Corinthians. He wrote, "For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh" (2 Cor. 4:11).
Beloved, Christianity is the "life of Jesus … manifested in our mortal flesh!"
What does this mean? It means that the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the lover and redeemer of mankind, reveals Himself through us. This unveiling of Christ in us is the only thing that satisfies our quest to know the substance of God. Anything less than, or other than, Christ living in us is mere religion.
It is not enough to decry sin in the world; our motive must be to redeem it. Jesus said, "As [the Father] sent Me into the world, I also have sent them" (John 17:18). We are sent as He was sent, with same mission, same vision. It is the same Jesus who died for men, reliving His purpose and power again through us.
This world, with all its evil, is the very reality God has chosen to perfect our conformity to Christ. You see, to discern what is wrong in the world requires little spiritual growth, but to see our communities and neighborhoods transformed requires we grow in Christlike maturity and vision.
We must go beyond the condemning of sin to the laying down of our lives for sinners. We must learn how to persevere in prayer, embrace Spirit-led fasting, and become committed to love until what was evil is not just identified but transformed.
Yes, this world is evil, but it is the perfect place for Christ to be manifested through our mortal flesh.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Not Only Saved, But Trained in Christ's Likeness
(En Español)
The Lord not only desires to save us, but once saved, He then seeks to train us. There is a difference, beloved, between being saved by God and being trained by God. Salvation is the gift of God's grace; it comes to us not by our works or striving but by faith. However, being trained by the Lord is not free. It does, in fact, come with a price. Indeed, it costs us to forgive and love, to deny self and put aside lesser goals to follow Christ. You see? God's salvation is an unmerited gift of grace, but if we actually expect to "be like [our] teacher," we must accept Christ's invitation to be "fully trained" (Luke 6:40).
In that same spirit, Pastor Frangipane has taken the most important fundamentals he's learned from over forty years of walking with God and put them into his online school called In Christ's Image Training. As you take the course, you will not only receive information, but revelation that leads to transformation. Through the Holy Spirit, the living presence of the Lord Jesus has the opportunity in real ways to accompany your spiritual journey, personally working in you the four powerful realities featured in this course: passion to be like Christ, humility, prayer and unity.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The River of God's Pleasure
(En Español)
The Clamor of Many Voices
As the days unfold toward Christ’s return, a multitude of voices will clamor for our attention. Additionally signs and wonders, judgments and upheaval will also burst into the collective consciousness of man, demanding our focus. Our world will experience the increase of sin and lawlessness, which will further deplete the love of many Christians (Matt. 24:12). If we are true seekers of the Most High, we must beware the contagious nature of an embittered heart. We cannot allow ourselves to be infected by, or conformed to, the attitudes of angry, loveless Christians.
These are the "difficult times" (2 Tim. 3:1) Paul warns about. Yes, our world is full of artificially sweetened, salt-free Christians who are trodden underfoot by men. We must not assume it cannot happen to us. Yet it is in this very environment that our Father has purposed to reveal Christ in us. Even now our destiny is courting our preparation. Let us press toward full transformation!
Created for God’s Pleasure
What does it mean to become Christlike? It means we choose to live for one purpose: to give pleasure to God. To accomplish this, we must be intimately acquainted with that in which His soul delights.
Jesus always chose to give God pleasure, even in the midst of conflict and cruelty. Thus when injustice wounds us, we must redeem our experiences with mercy. Let us make the Sermon on the Mount our standard of conduct. Let us discover those ways that will reveal Christ through us and thus bring pleasure to God.
As it is written, "Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created" (Rev. 4:11).
The key to lasting happiness and true fulfillment in this world is not found in self-gratification but in bringing gratification to the heart of God. And while the Lord desires that we enjoy His many gifts, He wants us to know that we are not only created by Him but for Him as well.
A Lay Worker for God
To His neighbors Jesus was just a carpenter’s son. Yet to God Jesus was the one pearl of great price. Indeed, before His public ministry began---before there were any miracles or multitudes---yes, as a carpenter, Jesus’s devotion to God flooded the Father’s heart with pleasure. At the core of His existence, Christ’s motive was always to do only those things that pleased the Father (John 8:29).
It was His desire to please the Father that caused Jesus to perfectly fulfill the Law, and it was to please the Father that He went to the cross. It was not raw zeal for His culture or religion that compelled this carpenter to a sinless life. It was something higher and far more extraordinary: the law of love for God. His passion to give pleasure to the Father was all consuming.
Could Jesus have heard more wondrous words than the praise spoken by the heavenly Father at the Jordan? At the sound of the Father’s voice the heavens opened, the Spirit descended, and the river of God’s pleasure flowed outward to His Son. In words unheard by any human being, the Father spoke: "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased" (Mark 1:11; see also Luke 2:52).
Remember, Jesus was still a lay person during this encounter. He had not yet entered public ministry. I am awed as I consider this reality: it was Jesus’s life as a tradesman, a "blue-collar worker," that increased the Father’s bliss! He did not need miracles and multitudes, or great insights, to touch the Father’s heart. He had not yet fasted for forty days. While accomplishing common, everyday tasks, Jesus flooded God’s soul with delight!
Likewise those who truly seek God are dedicated to bringing pleasure to their heavenly Father, even in the common tasks of everyday life. Jesus’s ability to please God while working a "secular" job tells us God is seeking something from us that is more hidden, more precious, than the things esteemed outwardly by man.
In other words, God delights in that man or woman who serves Him with joy, even when no one is there to observe or impress. In God’s eyes, the origin of true ministry is not found in what we do for Him but in what kind of people we become to Him.
No God-Seeker Is Insignificant to the Father
You who seek the Lord ponder this wondrous privilege: we can bring pleasure to God! In a world where sin and injustice actually pain the heart of God, with our love and steadfast faith, as we seek God daily, we can please the Father!
To set our goal to reveal Christ is to arouse God’s pleasure at its highest level. No one, nor any thing, brings pleasure to the Father as does seeing His Son, even beholding the Spirit of Jesus Christ revealed in us. Each time we submit to Jesus, giving Him access to this world, we please God. Every time Christ forgives or loves or blesses through us, the heart of God finds pleasure in our lives.
In every one of life’s varied and challenging situations, let us seek to know how we may reveal Christ. For in the love between the Father and His Son the river of God’s pleasure flows.
O God, the thought that my life may bring pleasure to You is so high, I can barely believe it. Lord, look upon me as Your workmanship; create in me that which will most glorify You. Make my life an aroma of thanksgiving that ever brings pleasure to Your heart.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Swallowed Up By Life, Part 1
(En Español)
The Scriptures tell us that before Christ returns Satan will be cast down from the spirit realm to the earthly realm "having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time" (Rev. 12:12). Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:22 that "unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved." Prophecy after prophecy warns of these days. Satanic darkness is on the face of the earth, and where the devil is, death and destruction are soon to follow.
At the same time, those who persist as overcomers should expect to enter ever-increasing degrees of life. Through repentance and faith in God's Word, if we stay focused on attaining Christ's likeness, through the Holy Spirit we will see more of Christ's living presence restored to the church. I believe before Jesus returns, the church will increasingly be transformed from glory to glory into the Lord's likeness (2 Cor. 3:18). Is that heresy? No. To live apart from Christ in worldliness and unbelief is heresy.
The test for one who said he abides in Christ was simple: he walked "in the same manner as [Christ] walked" (1 John 2:6). Again, 2 Corinthians 13 urges us to test and examine ourselves "to see if [we] are in the faith," and to "recognize this about [ourselves], that Jesus Christ is in [us]" (v. 5).
Because Christ Himself lives in us, a time will come when our humanity will actually be "swallowed up by [His] life" (2 Cor. 5:4). At the last trumpet, our perishable bodies will put on the imperishable and our mortal souls will actually become immortal (1 Cor. 15:53). Yes, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, death and decay will be swallowed up by life!
You see, if we are truly walking with Christ, we are not facing death; we are discarding death! What awaits us is ever-increasing, spirit-transforming resurrection life---abundant in quantity, eternal in quality, and glorious in substance!
This is important for us to grasp, for what will occur suddenly is actually the result of years of progressively laying down our natural lives so that Christ's life might come forth through us. Of course, now our "life is hidden with Christ in God," but the Spirit assures us that, "when Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then [we] also will be revealed with Him in glory" (Col. 3:3-4).
The key to obtaining the life in glory is living focused on the hidden life we now possess with Christ. You see, Christ must become our life, not just our religion. Wherever I may be---in my home or work, whether awake or in dreams, and in all my relationships---I am choosing to sow into the hidden life of Christ.
May we each determine to have no other life source but Christ. May His eternal goal with man become our goal as well: to be swallowed up by the life of Christ.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Bright Lamp of Holiness
(En Español)
When true holiness exists in a Christian’s life, it produces a luminosity, a glow around that individual. Infants and little children, because their spirits are yet pure and undefiled and because they are so close to the actual presence of God, emanate this light as well. Their light is visible because their hearts are transparent and truthful. For us, the way to the bright lamp of holiness is this same way of transparency and truth. It is the way to the pure gold of the kingdom of God.
When Your Eye is Single
From the moment Christ enters within us, we are holy, set apart unto God. This kind of holiness is the same sanctification that made the utensils in the temple holy: holy because they were used in service to the Lord. They had no virtue in themselves; their material substance did not change. Christianity, in general, is holy in that sense. But the holiness we are seeking is the fulfillment of having been set apart. We are seeking a holiness that mirrors, through us, the presence of God in Heaven. We are seeking both His nature and His quality of life.
Since true holiness produces in us the actual life of the Holy Spirit, we must be sure we know who the Spirit is. The Spirit of God is love, not religion. God is life, not rituals. The Holy Spirit does more in us than simply enable us to "speak in tongues" or witness. The Spirit leads us into the presence of Jesus. Herein is our holiness received: in our union and fellowship with Jesus Christ.
Again, the holiness we are seeking is not a legislative or legalistic set of rules; it is Christ’s very own quality of life. The Holy Spirit works in us not merely a new desire to love, but He imparts to us Christ’s very own love. We develop more than just a general faith in Jesus; we actually begin believing like Jesus, with His quality of faith. It is God in us that makes us holy. Let it stagger us. Let it rock us off our comfortable little perches until, with great trembling and great joy, with deep worship and holy fear, we approach the divine reality who has, for His own will and purpose, called us to Himself.
"Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" (1 Cor. 3:16). The Spirit of God dwells in us. In this light, let us ask ourselves again the age-old question, "What is man?" We know how we appear to other men, but if God truly is within us, how do we appear to angels or devils? What light marks us in the spirit world, what illumination surrounds us, what glory declares to the invisible realm, "Behold and beware, here walks a child of God!" Think of it: the Spirit of the Creator, who purposed in the beginning to make man in His image, is in you . . . now.
Holiness is a Body Full of Light
There are limitations. There are conditions. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve light and darkness, sin and righteousness, self and God. Light is within you, but so also is darkness. Our world is a world in darkness. Our ancestors were sons of darkness. Our carnal minds yet remain theaters of darkness. In a world of choices, we must choose light. That is why Jesus taught that we must be single-minded if we would become fully mature sons of light. He said, "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness" (Luke 11:34, KJV).
If you are focused in your will and heart toward God, your body is full of light, and you are giving full expression to the glory of God within you. But if you are double-minded, if you are dwelling on sinful or evil thoughts, your light is proportionally diminished until your very body is full of darkness. Jesus went on to warn, "Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness" (v. 35, KJV).
If you do nothing about your salvation, fail to seek God, or choose to disobey Him, you are in darkness. Do not console yourself with an aimless hope that someday, somehow, you will get better. Arm yourself with determination! For if the light in you is in darkness, how terrible is that darkness. Son of light, you must hate darkness! Darkness is the substance of hell; it is the world without God.
But our hope is light, not darkness. Your feet are walking the path of the just, the path that grows brighter and brighter unto the full day. "If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it shall be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays" (Luke 11:36). This verse gives a very clear picture of what holiness looks like in its maturity: our bodies are radiant with glory even as a lamp shines at full brightness. What a tremendous hope---that we can be so wholly illumined with the presence of God that there is "no dark part" within us. A garment of light and glory awaits the spiritually mature, the holy ones of God, a garment similar to what Jesus wore on the Mount of Transfiguration. A splendor not just put on in eternity but one worn here, "in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation"; here, where we "appear as lights in the world" (Phil. 2:14–15).
"You were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light" (Eph. 5:8). Now you are a child of light. These are not merely figures of speech. The glory of God is within and around you; it is a spiritual reality! But what of the darkness that is yet within you? Paul continued, "Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them. . . . But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light" (Eph. 5:11, 13).
Do not hide your darkness; expose it. Do not sympathetically make excuses for it; confess it. Hate it. Renounce it. For as long as darkness remains in darkness, it rules you. But when you bring darkness out into the light, it becomes light. When you take your secret sins and boldly come unto the throne of God’s grace and confess them, He cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you sin again, repent again---and again, until the habit of sin is broken within you.
Like the prospectors of old, you must stake your claim high in the kingdom of God, being ready to defend your rights to the "pure gold" of Heaven (Rev. 3:18). And as you pitch your tent at the throne of grace, something eternal will begin to glow in you, like hot coals on a furnace floor. And as you persist with the Almighty, the sacred fire of His presence will consume the wood, hay and stubble of your former ways. Power such as Jesus had will reside in your innermost being. Angels will stand in awe, for your gold will be refined, your garments light and your life holy.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Dear Friends,
I would like to personally invite everyone on our mailing list to join our Facebook pages. Facebook offers me an opportunity to share short versions of teachings or revelation usually three times a week or so. The response from people has typically been encouraging, with people sharing their affirmation and also their insights and revelation. If you have not joined Facebook, it costs you nothing, but it gives us a means to connect and share what the Lord has put on our hearts.
We have three primary sites: The largest is our "friends" page (or "personal"). It currently has around 34,000 people who follow and another 5,200 who signed up quickly and became "friends." It may seem like a large group, but it's really a community of believers from all over the world. https://www.facebook.com/#!/francis.frangipane.9
We also have a Facebook page called "Ministries of Francis Frangipane" and another site for our In Christ's Image students. Please click on "Like" to join either of these two pages.

As far as my availability to respond to personal messages or requests, it's equal on all three. You can join any one that suits you.
Here are some quotes from recent posts:
After 43 years in ministry, here is what I've found: Often, the flawed reality that initially angered me about my church or city, that very place was where God desired I become Christlike. Upon first seeing the need, typically, my flesh reacts first with criticism. But if I repent of just finding fault - if I pray and submit myself to Christ's heart - I soon discover there are many ways for me to participate in redeeming this situation, all of which fuel my spiritual growth. Indeed, by approaching the area of need with Christ's redemptive heart, the "flawed reality"I initially criticized ultimately became the land of my anointing.
***************
Some have lamented, "Where are the leaders who seek God?"Their complaint reminds me of a time in the early '80s when none of the city pastors showed up for morning prayer. Alone in a cold, dark, empty church, for nearly an hour I also uttered my complaint to the Lord. Suddenly the atmosphere changed. Everything - the hum of the furnace, the clatter of the grates, even my thoughts - all things were subdued. The presence of the Lord was in the room. Looking directly at me He said, "You be the man you want the others to be."At that moment I stopped criticizing church leaders and started to become one.
***************
You do not have to go to Bible college to find fault with the church. If you recall, you could find fault with the church even before you were a Christian. Finding fault is not a spiritual gift. However, if you want to be like Christ, you must be willing to lay your life down for others. As an intercessor, you will "stand in the gap."What is the gap? It is the distance between the way things are and the way things could be if God intervened. You stand in that space between the failures of man and the mercies of God and intercede. Anyone can find fault, but can we stand in the gap and pray for mercy to triumph over judgment?

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Pardon for an Unrepentant People
(En Español)
Moses sent twelve spies to Canaan to bring back a report of the land. When they returned, ten said that, though the land was good, Israel would surely be defeated by the inhabitants. Although Joshua and Caleb argued that Israel certainly could drive out their enemies, the people moaned, complained, and rebelled, even seeking to stone Joshua and Caleb and return with new leaders to Egypt. The anger of the Lord was kindled against them and threatened to bring judgment (Num. 13-14).
Faithfully, once more Moses interceded:
"I pray, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared, `The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations'" (Num. 14:17-18).
Just as Abraham had prayed centuries before, Moses focused upon two things: the integrity of the Lord and His great mercy. When the Scripture says that God will "by no means clear the guilty" (v. 18), it speaks of those who sin but do not repent. Yet even in such a circumstance, the Lord is able to be entreated.
Remember, the Israelites had rebelled; they were not even aware that their sin had placed them at the threshold of God's wrath. On one side, the Lord looked at a nation of unrepentant, sinful people, and on the other side, He saw one man, Moses, praying. Even though the prophet acknowledged that the Lord would not "clear the guilty," Moses still prayed that God would forgive Israel: "Pardon, I pray, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness, just as You also have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now" (Num. 14:19).
Note with awe the Lord's response to Moses' mercy prayer. He said, "I have pardoned them according to your word" (v. 20). Incredible!
Three million Israelites had not repented, nor rent their hearts, nor confessed their sins to God or one another. Not one of them who had sinned possessed a broken, contrite spirit. Yet the Lord said, "I have pardoned them." This response is utterly amazing to me. The Lord granted Israel forgiveness "according to [Moses'] word." Staggering!
One man with favor from God brought mercy upon three million people who had not repented.
Then, in case we might think this is some kind of easy grace, the Lord reaffirmed His purpose for all nations, beginning with Israel. He said, "But indeed, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord" (v. 21).
The integrity of the Lord is nonnegotiable. He said, in effect, "Though I forgive, I am not going to change My plans. The world will be filled with My glory."
When we ask God for mercy, we are not asking Him to compromise His intentions or His standards. We are asking only that He forgive the sins of people, showing His mercy until He can fulfill His purpose. In truth, we are in complete agreement with His righteous judgments. We earnestly want His glory to overshadow North, South, and Central America; to roll through Europe, Africa, and Asia; to revive Israel and touch the Middle East, Australia, and the rest of the world. We shout a resounding "Yes!" to the purpose of God. "Fill our land with Your glory, Lord!"
But we also pray, "Until Your purposes are perfected, reveal Your mercy. Forgive, O Lord, the sins of Your people."
Do you need a vision of God's ultimate destiny for your nation? The voice of the Lord has promised, "As I live, all the earth will be filled with [My] glory" (Num. 14:21). Your nation, being part of the earth, is included in God's heart. He will hear our prayers for mercy as we reach, with Him, toward His ultimate goal.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Lord Whose Sword is Drawn
Of all the names that the heavenly Father could have given His Son, it is most significant that He chose the name "Jesus," for Jesus is the Greek form of "Joshua." Joshua, you recall, was the Hebrew general who led God's people into war. To be prepared for greater victories, we need a greater revelation of Jesus Christ; we need to see Him as He will be revealed in the last moments of this age: a Holy Warrior, dressed for battle.
Will You Recognize Jesus When He Comes?
"Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, ‘Are you for us or for our adversaries?'" (Josh. 5:13).
There is something about the time just prior to a move of God that causes many to wonder if the Lord is for them or against them. He seems confrontational---too intense, too "different" from the One we have learned to trust. Yet during these last few years, this is exactly the situation in the Lord's relationship with the church. The Lord has stood before us with His sword drawn. He is calling us to follow Him in war.
Perhaps you have been through a time where the tip of Christ's sword seemed aimed straight at your heart. Let me reassure you, God is for you. In fact, it is His expressed purpose to release this same "sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6:17), through your words and prayers. But before the Lord's sword will come through your mouth, it must first pass through your heart.
Do not withdraw or be terrified at this new unveiling of the Son of God, for He is, in fact, fitting you for battle. By the time you are fully trained, you will be a fearless warrior in His army. Yet we must be realistic about our current state: most of us have been pampered and undisciplined. We have not understood the day of warfare that looms before us. Nor are we prepared for the final raging of Satan as his time shortens (Rev. 12:12).
Isaiah tells us that "the Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies" (Isa. 42:13). We have known the Lord as our Savior and our Shepherd. These revelations of our beloved Master are no less true because a new aspect of His nature is revealed. It is simply that this new dimension is so startlingly different from how we have known Him. Be of good cheer, this frightening Warrior King, with His sword drawn, with the shout of war upon His lips, is the same blessed Savior who died on the cross for our sins.
Yet in truth, we cannot soften the shock of this great unveiling of Christ. Our immediate dismay shall be in no way less dramatic than that which was revealed to Joshua on the plains of Jericho. Our concepts will be shaken and fears confronted.
Looking again at Joshua, truly he had already known the Lord in a wonderful, intimate way in the wilderness tabernacle. But here standing before him was a new revelation of the Lord. The Son of God Himself had come as Captain of the Host to lead His people into war.
Ultimately, these refugees from Egypt and their wilderness children would defeat many nations stronger and more numerous than themselves (Deut. 9:1). They would do the impossible through the power of the Lord.
Though initially Joshua was taken aback, both Joshua and the people with him were more prepared for this battle than they realized. Their time in the wilderness had conditioned them for war.
Likewise, the wilderness for you has not been a time of punishment but a season of preparation and of learning obedience. You have watched in fear the decline and spiritual death of church leaders who repeatedly disobeyed the Lord. But you have not stumbled over their disobedience; you have learned from it. Today you walk in the fear of God and are not blinded by the sin of presumption.
Before Jesus returns, those who have passed the wilderness tests will receive another revelation: Christ will be revealed to them as Captain of the Host. They will be ready to follow the Lamb wherever He goes.
"And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, ‘What has my lord to say to his servant?' The captain of the Lord's host said to Joshua, ‘Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.' And Joshua did so" (Josh. 5:14-15).
This new unveiling of the Lord is holy. Overnight the Lord brought down atheistic communism in the former Soviet Union. Since then, hundreds of millions of people from many nations have found salvation in the Son of God. God is touching many nations. Let us not gainsay nor criticize what we may not fully understand. We are beginning to perceive the Lord as He truly is and as He will be released in the last days. He is the Lord of Hosts.
The promise of the Lord, which we read earlier, is that He "will go forth like a warrior. . . . He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies" (Isa. 42:13). Within the ranks of the advancing church, Jesus is raising a war cry. Can you hear His shout in the intercession? There is new authority being raised up, a new generation whose voice thunders with the cry of prophetic prayer. Through the church, Christ Himself is prevailing against His enemies. Indeed, the gates of hell shall not stand against the church Jesus is building (Matt. 16:18). The hour has come for us "to grow in all aspects into Him who is [our] head, even Christ" (Eph. 4:15), the Warrior King!

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Standing Behind Our Wall - Part 2
Finding Our Beloved
Though the Sacred Writ tells us we are one with Christ, the sense of distance between Jesus Christ and ourselves persists. You may have prayed, Lord, You said You are with us forever but I feel isolated from You.
So, the question must not be ignored: If Christ is within us, how can we find the living flame of His presence? In the Song of Solomon, this quest to find the secret place of His presence is given wonderful expression. The bride says, "Listen! My beloved! Behold, he is coming, climbing on the mountains, leaping on the hills! My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag" (Song of Sol. 2:8-9).
This is our Lord, full of vitality! He is "climbing on the mountains, leaping on the hills." To see Him on mountains, though, is to behold Him from afar. He is seen, but remains distant. How do we live in a moment-by-moment sense of His indwelling presence? We still ask, "Where are You, Lord, within me?"
The bride continues,
"Behold, he is standing behind our wall, he is looking through the windows, he is peering through the lattice" (Song of Sol. 2:9).
We can be assured Christ dwells within us; He is within, but He is “standing behind our wall.” What wall? The wall(s) we erect that are consequences of our unrenewed minds and hardened hearts --- the walls our fears construct and the barricades of our carnal attitudes, sins and worldly distractions.
Yet these barriers can be eliminated. To the degree they are removed, we possess functional oneness with Christ; we experience true spiritual advancement.
Removing the Walls
Even now, let us begin the removal of these barriers. Imagine that, even as you are reading, the Lord Himself has quietly entered a nearby room. You look, and suddenly the room is vibrant and alive; it is pulsing with waves of light. Your spiritual senses are flooded with holy fear; living, probing light actually enters you and descends into your heart, illuminating the true condition of your soul. My question: Knowing that the living Son of God was in the room, would you enter?
If you could not bring yourself to move toward the room, what would be your reason? If it is because you feel you have failed the Lord too many times, then shame has become a "wall" between you and Christ. If terror keeps you distant, then fear is the barrier between God and you. If an unrepentant heart is keeping you from intimacy with Christ, then heart sin is your cause of isolation.
Remember, the pure in heart see God (Matt. 5:8). If we repent of our wrong attitudes and sins; if, instead of shame and fear, we clothe ourselves with the garments of praise and salvation, the barriers between ourselves and the Lord shall be removed.
But let me ask you a second question: How would you enter Christ's presence?
It is my opinion that we would not pick up tambourines and dance into His glory. No. When the greatest apostles and prophets beheld Him, His presence caused each to fall face down as a dead man. For me it would be with great trembling that I would approach the room of His presence. Face down on the floor, I would inch my way closer.
How can we remove the sense of distance between Christ and ourselves? In the same way we would repent of sin and shame before entering the room, let us turn our gaze toward His living glory. In trembling obedience, let us enter the fire of His presence. In truth, He is closer than the room next door. Even now, He is standing behind our wall.
Lord Jesus, I remove the wall created by my fears, sin, and shame. Master, with all my heart I desire to enter Your glory, to stand in Your presence and love You. Receive me now as I bow before Your glory.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Standing Behind Our Wall (En Español) The sense of distance we often feel between Christ and ourselves is an illusion. As we enter the days prior to Christ's Second Coming, the Lord shall begin to remove that falsehood. Indeed, He promises, "In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you" (John 14:20). The Scriptures tell us that Christ is the vine, we are the branches; He is the head, we are His body; He is the Lord and we are His temple. From start to finish, the Bible declares the Lord not only has a dwelling in Heaven, but that He also abides perpetually in redemptive union with His people. The ever-present focus of His activity is to guide us into oneness with Himself. Thus, for all that the Holy Spirit has come to establish in our lives, whether through gifts, virtue or power, His highest purpose is to lead us into the presence of Jesus. The Holy Spirit labors ceaselessly to establish intimacy between ourselves and the Lord Jesus. Someone once said that intimacy means "into-me-see." Intimacy means secrets shared. The Father sees us in secret; He establishes within us the “secret place of [His] presence” (Ps. 31:20), where those who fear Him can always find Him (Ps. 27:5). This union with Christ lifts us higher to a personal, rather than merely academic, relationship with God’s Word. We hear the Shepherd's voice speaking to our spirits, bringing comfort, correction and direction (John 10:27). Not only are we privileged to know Christ's teachings, but as we grow, we also discern the tone of His voice in His instruction. This is heart-to-heart intimacy. Listen to His wonderful promise: "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep" (John 10:14-15). Jesus says, "I know My own and My own know Me." How intimate is this relationship? Scripturally, the union between Christ and our hearts is of the same quality as His union with the Father. He says it is "even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father." Beloved, let us make it our life's quest to know Him. Let us not accept the illusion that He is distant from us for He Himself promised, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matt 28:20). Lord Jesus, in the deepest way possible I desire to know You, even at the depth that You have known me. Fill my emptiness with Your presence and my darkness with Your light. Draw me into moment by moment intimacy with You. Amen

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Dear Friend,
Besides pastoring in the mid 1970s, part of my ministry involved producing four music albums. These recordings consisted primarily of songs I wrote during my times with the Lord. Over the years the albums slipped further into the back of my thoughts as other projects drew my attention. In recent years, however, a number of individuals have actually contacted me with requests that I again make these songs available. Unfortunately, the original production levels from the 70s were not great. Plus adding 35 to 37 years has further degraded the music.
And yet, those who requested the music had listened to the same poor quality and still liked the music. Their comments were an encouragement to me, especially since they were able to overlook the production quality and actually hear the spirit of what I was finding in the Lord. So in spite of being a bit conflicted in my soul, with the hope that some might enjoy these songs, I think I will make a single song available and see how it is received.
If you have complaints about the quality, so do I. But if you can overlook the many imperfections and listen for the spirit, perhaps you might be blessed.
This first song is called "Taste and See." It's my tribute to the goodness of the Lord.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Intensifying Presence
[size=9](En Español)[/size]
We all know the unrepentant world is destined for the Great Tribulation, but as far as the living, praying church is concerned, if we continue to climb toward the standard of Christlikeness, prior to the rapture there will be a season of great glory for true Christians.
In support of this holy goal, let me submit to you an encounter I had with the Lord in 1973. I was pastoring a small church in Hawaii and had been in a month of intense prayer and extended fasting, a time of drawing near to God. At the end of this period, I found myself awakened during the night by a visitation of the Lord. It was not as though I saw His physical features; I saw His glory and was overwhelmed by the intense fire of His presence. Immediately I was like a dead man, unable to move so much as a finger. Spiritually, however, my consciousness was heightened beyond anything I have known since. I was like one of those "living creatures" in the book of Revelation with "eyes around and within" (Rev. 4:8).
With my "inner eyes" I saw the truth about my personal righteousness. Recall, I had been in prayer and fasting; I felt good about myself. Yet suddenly the flaws in my life became unbearably vivid and utterly sinful. My iniquity was not as something I occasionally committed but as something I perpetually was. I saw many times when I could have been more loving or kind or sensitive. I also saw how selfish nearly all of my actions were.
Yet for all that was dark within me, I felt no rebuke from the Lord nor condemnation. No voice came from Heaven to convict me of my wrongs. The only voice condemning me was my own; in the light of His presence, I abhorred myself (Job 42:6 KJV).
Without any buffer of self-justification or deceit, I saw how far short of His glory I truly was. I knew why mankind needed the blood of Christ, and no amount of personal attainment in and of itself could ever make me like Jesus. In the most profound way I understood that only Christ could live like Christ. God's plan was not to improve me but to remove me so that the Lord Jesus Himself could actually live His life through me (Gal. 2:20). In His indwelling would rest my hope of becoming like Him.
Outwardly, with "eyes around," I realized that the electrified atmosphere I felt in my bedroom was actually being broadcast from a very distant reality. Yet, though distant, the emanation of Christ's presence was like a burning fire upon my consciousness. A great procession of heavenly beings was descending through a night sky; I knew that this was a glimpse of Heaven coming to Earth.
In the forefront were angels of every class and order, each group in a splendor all its own. About a third of the way back was the Lord, and behind Him were innumerable saints. Yet I could not see into the depth of the Lord's glory, for those following Him had become part of His being.
The Lord was not only coming to judge the Earth but to fill this world with His glory. Let me repeat that, even though the Lord was far away, the radiance of His presence was a living fire upon my consciousness. The energy was almost painful.
Then, without warning, the procession came closer, not just to me but to our dimension. It was as though a mark in time had been crossed. Instantly I was utterly overwhelmed by the intensity of the Lord's presence. I felt that I could not - no, not for another moment - bear the increase of His glory. It was as though my very existence would be consumed by the blast furnace of His radiance. And in the deepest prayer I have ever uttered, I begged the Lord to return me to my body. Instantly, mercifully, I was cocooned once again in the familiar world of my senses and my bedroom.

Instantly, mercifully, I was cocooned once again in the familiar world of my senses and my bedroom.

And while he touches on such things as the shaking of the nations, the antichrist, earthquakes and other end-time events, his focus is primarily upon the greatest reality awaiting us in the last days: the "sign of the Son of Man." Pastor Francis has said, "Let us not be so absorbed with the dark movement of end-time shadows that we miss the One whose day is simultaneously dawning upon us. Many have written about the shadows; my goal is to prepare us for the baptism of light." The CD series, In the Days Ahead, has two audio messages. The first, "The Glory of Christ," focuses on the intensifying presence of the Lord in the last days. The second message is "The Currency of Heaven." How can we lay up treasures in Heaven and then draw from that heavenly account for our earthly needs? Currency is purchasing power. So what exactly is the purchasing power of Heaven and how can we possess eternal wealth? Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
Goliath Had a Brother
[size=9](En Español)[/size]
Here's the scene: You are in a battle against sickness, oppression or some similar struggle. You seek God, and in some way, the grace of God touches your life. Your victory may have come through a word or prayer or some other encouragement, but you absolutely know the Lord has delivered you. Using the five smooth stones of divine grace, you defeated your Goliath.
But then, a few weeks or months or perhaps years later, all the old symptoms suddenly return with a vengeance. If you were struggling with an illness, it manifests itself now worse than ever; if your battle was regarding a relationship, it seems as though all progress has been lost and you are back to square one.
Have you ever been there? These negative experiences can drain the faith from your heart. You lose the anticipation and power of faith, and a spiritual paralysis immobilizes your soul. You may still attend church, but your faith is unresponsive. When others testify of deliverance, you worry secretly that they, too, will “lose their healing."
For many, the result is one of faith-shaking disillusionment. Scripture says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Prov. 13:12). This “heartsickness" is a spiritual disease that can cripple your walk with God. Remember, faith is the substance of the things you hope for; if you lose hope, your faith becomes hollow. How can you trust God when it seems as though He let you down? You wonder: Did I lose my breakthrough, or was I only deceiving myself and never really had it?
Dear one, it is very possible that what you are experiencing is not a loss of God's blessing but an entirely new spiritual battle. This new war is a very clever and effective deception that Satan uses to try and worm his way back into the lives of those delivered by God.
I had been praying about this very thing, this recurring battle, when the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart: Goliath had a brother. I was immediately reminded of David's war against the Philistine giant. We all know that David became a great hero by trusting God and defeating Goliath. However, things changed as we see in 2 Samuel 21,
"Now when the Philistines were at war again with Israel, David went down and his servants with him; and as they fought against the Philistines, David became weary. Then Ishbi-benob, who was among the descendants of the giant . . . intended to kill David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine and killed him." (vv. 15-17).
Years after David became king he had to face other giants. In fact, 1 Chronicles 20:5 reveals that at least one of those warring against David was “the brother of Goliath" and four were his children (see 2 Sam. 21:22). We can imagine that these giants, being Goliath’s kin, looked like Goliah, boasted like him, dressed like him and probably even smelled like him. The Scripture says while fighting one of the descendants of Goliath that “David became weary." The Bible is silent as to what might have been going through the king's mind as he battled these giants. Perhaps he wondered, I thought I killed Goliath. What is he doing back? But Goliath had not come back; he was dead! David was actually fighting the giant's kin. It just looked like the same battle!
Likewise, you also have had many successful victories. Just because the current giant you are facing looks like one you defeated in the past, do not buy the lie that you never really won the first battle! By the strength of God's grace, you trusted the Almighty and conquered your Goliath. The first giant is dead. Satan is masquerading as your former enemy so he can slip past your faith and regain entrance into your life. Resist him. Do not accept the lie that you were never delivered. Stand in faith (see Eph. 6). Faith is the victory that overcomes the world (see 1 John 5:4).
The living God who helped you conquer Goliath will empower you to overcome his brother as well.
Father, I come to You as Your servant. Like David, I have become weary with fighting an enemy I thought I had defeated. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, however, I expose the lie that this is the same foe I previously conquered. In Jesus' name, I rebuke the enemy. I ask You, Lord, to send angels to strengthen me supernaturally, just as angels often strengthened Jesus. In the name of the Lord, Amen.

Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
The Nearness of Our God (En Español) In the 73rd Psalm, the psalmist Asaph expressed a struggle we all might feel at times. He questioned why the wicked seem to prosper while the righteous are chastened. The whole idea was troublesome until he entered the sanctuary of God. Once in the presence of God, Asaph realized his error. As he compared himself to the unbeliever, he saw that, apart from the influence of God, he had nothing in which to boast. He said, "When my heart was embittered and I was pierced within, then I was senseless and ignorant; I was like a beast before You" (vv. 21-22). Finally, his soul brightened as he considered that God alone was his salvation, and his relationship with God was his strength. He wrote, "Nevertheless I am continually with You. … You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. … God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (vv. 23-26). The summary thought of Asaph's revelation, and the point of this message, is in verse 28. He wrote, "But as for me, the nearness of God is my good." Let's settle this truth once and for all: It is the nearness of God that produces our good. Christianity was never designed by God to be sustained by nice people trying to appear good. We're not that good. We're not that clever. And we're not that nice. The only thing that can sustain true Christianity is true union with Jesus Christ. It is nearness to Him in all things that produces our spiritual fruit. If we are honest, we will admit that, apart from the influence and work of God, there is nothing morally superior or remarkably virtuous about our lives. Our flesh has the same carnal passions as do people in the world; our soul carries within it the same insecurities and fears. Thus, apart from the influence of Christ in us, there's no difference between Christians and non-Christians (except that Christians, when living separate from God's presence, can be more obnoxious). It's only our relationship with the Lord that keeps us from fulfilling the lusts and desires of the flesh, for apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Therefore, the strength of our walk does not originate from within ourselves; rather it comes from our relationship with Christ. Our virtue, if it can be defined as such, is that we have learned to prioritize seeking God; our character is the offspring of our oneness with Jesus. By this I mean, Jesus is not only first on our list of priorities; His influence rules over all our priorities. He inspires love in our relationships; His voice becomes the conviction in our integrity. God has made "Christ Jesus" to be to us "wisdom … and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption" (1 Cor. 1:30). Thus, the God-seeker desires to find the Lord's pleasure drawn to every aspect of his soul. He also knows that, should an area of his heart exist in isolation from God, he will remain vulnerable to manipulation by the enemy in that area. So let me underscore the psalmist's truth, and let us say with our own voice of conviction: it is the nearness of our God that is our good. Oh God, You are the lover of my soul. Faithfully, have You extended Your hands toward me. Yet, I have been, at times, a drifter and distant. Master, this day I acknowledge my most wonderful times are those spent close to You. When my heart is near to You, I am partaking of the nectar of life. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Please feel free to forward this message to others; acknowledging our website (and publisher) would be kindly appreciated.Great opportunity to own a life-changing book This message was adapted from a chapter in Pastor Frangipane's book, And I Will Be Found By You published by Arrow Publications, Inc. Re: FRANCIS FRANGIPANE MINISTRIES
What Will Life Be Like? (En Español) Meditate, for a moment, on the deepest encounter you have ever had with the Lord. Perhaps you were filled with unspeakable joy or maybe the holy pleasure of God, like a river, flooded your being (see Ps. 16:11; 36:8). When it comes to the last days of this age, the Lord’s word to us is this: the best of our past will be the least of our future. I am speaking of the years prior to the rapture of the church. A time will come during the last days when we will increasingly drink from the nectar of God’s presence. I am not speaking of the one, final, incredible moment when, in the twinkling of an eye, our mortality puts on immortality. No, I speak of the period leading up to that last trumpet, the period when "the glory of the Lord has risen upon [us]" and "nations will come to [our] light and kings to the brightness of [our] rising" (Isa. 60:1-3). What will it be like when the glory of God is not something outside of us but something that springs from our innermost being, and rivers and streams of light course through us? Yes, the last years of life on planet Earth will be difficult, but for those who are preparing now, who desire to know Him and become like Him, the days ahead will be times of transformation - from glory to even greater glory (2 Cor. 3). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ If you want more information of what is coming for the overcomer during the last days, order The Days of His Presence, by Francis Frangipane. To aid your spiritual preparation, consider In Christ’s Image Training, the foundational school created by Pastor Francis to equip those destined for God’s glory. www.icitc.org ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In a world trembling with prophetic anticipation, it is time for the church to get serious about becoming Christlike.
