Asia Minor/Turkey mission Taking Christmas to Turkey (plz read)

Dear Saints thank you again for all your prayers:

We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hristo and Pavlina have returned to Turkey and I am on my way next week to bring Christmas to our friends and new friends in our area. We desperately need your prayers for the reasons we stated in previous emails.

The beginning of this year I perceived the Lord telling me to take Christmas to all my friends in Turkey. These people/friends never heard the Gospel till we came. So I believe this trip is definitely at the direction of the Lord Jesus. I had rather spend my time with my family and son who is self destructing and desperately needs Jesus.

We want to take the Christmas story to as many homes and others wherever we can find them. As you know our activities are now restricted in Menemen but the Lord says go and HE will open the doors. We obey!!!

Following is summary of our planned activities over the next month.

1. We start meeting in homes in Istanbul to share message of Christmas.

2. Then to Bergama where we start home to home prayer meetings.

3. Then to adjacent cities and villages wherever we are welcomed. This will take several days because we have a problem when too many people congregate. Church as such is illegal unless approved by Ankara which is a long drawn out process. If we wait for them many souls will die and go to hell.
We plan to do this but it seems like we have repeated obstacles-stringent requirements .

Prayer items: pray

1. for our safe journey and security.

2. for souls to be touched and come to Jesus

3. That opportunity for water baptism will prevail

4. That people will be baptized in the Holy Ghost

5. That all obstacles will dissipate.

6. That we will be able to establish a legal church.

7. Pray for my son Robert to be saved. I spent the last weekend helping him get out of jail and dealing with his Grand Mal Seizure. My heart is heavy dear ones.

We have never asked for support but now we are having difficulty in raising the amount of money needed to pay our in country workers salary. Anything you can do to help will be appreciated. Some churches have stopped helping for apparent economic reasons.
