The country still is restricted movement- no martial law
One pastor has been confined under the provisions of Terrorist law.. Christians are considered "terrorists".
There was a referendum in April ( he won 51% of the vote) He acts as he is the President appointed for life; and lives in a 115 room
villa as he cd considers himself as the extension of the Ottomans

A night club celebrating in Istanbul New Years was blown up ; 39 were killed and innumerable 100+ have been wounded. They haven't found the murderer

Some workers have left the country because of legal procedures to stay in country. They have to beware of getting captured and taken to ISIS locations for ransom .Turkey has millions of Syrians in transit to Europe and also residing in Turkey. Turkish military is fighting in Syria along withe Russians and Iranians
Bro Chum reentered Turkey the month of March. We will see. praying about it.
Bro CHum came to Los Angeles this month . We were able to help him monetarily and provide him a condo in Turkey . This will defray the cost of renting.
He says it is difficult to evangelize in Turkey. He was taken to the police station once and he was able to be released but it cost him money; but he endures .
As a result It is hard for workers to get in the country. I am in touch with Muslims and believers by Internet, FB and by phone,
thank you for your support. the Light of Jesus continues shine in the darkness and midst of the turmoil.

Just heard from Coban Y...... Martial law has still declared all over Turkey for at least 3 more months..
The church is not adversely affected BUT A TOTAL OF 50000 PERSONNEL HAVE BEEN TERMINATED, KILLED OR IMPRISONED,
10000 teachers have been terminated . University professors and key administrative personnel have been also terminated,
About 15000 civil workers have been let go. On on on there is Turbulence in all the major cities, Many of the military installations have been vacated.
There is a reorganization of the whole country. Pres Erdogan Sunday wanted
to address the Turks working in Germany by video . Thousands were awaiting the speech; but the German government disapproved the video.
Pastor (COban)Y........ gives the following summary of the New Life Church of God(Turkey)
Amin ve Amin I will give you the summary concisely.
There are a total of 372 believers. Amin there can be more that.But let me give you the number of baptisms.
In Milas(near Bodrum) there are 47 believers of which 25 are baptized. 22 remain for baptisms..
In Fetiye there are 54 believers of which 31 are baptized . 23 remain to be baptized
In Bodrum we have 38 brothers of which 28 are baptized . 10 remain for baptisms.
In the basic church Mnmn(abbreviated for security purposes)there are 182 believers of which 161 are brothers. there remain 21 to be baptized.
in Dikili there are 51. 39 waiting baptisms.12 are baptized. That means the number baptized 284 all total
There could be more I am but alone. how am I to do more. But Jesus Christ I depend on for help .I pray to Him. that's all I can do .The Lord can facilitate my attempts.. UP to Him if I pray. The church can increase 20 times with prayer and the power of God. If the people change and if the church changes we can change the world with prayer; that is everything is possible with prayer

I have been told the President had a 12 hour warning that the coup was about to occur.SOURCE Israeli TV
The military forces have been decimated
The nation is on its way to becoming an Islamic country abandoning the principles of Ataturk
They have imprisoned more journalists than all of China
In the meantime we have rented a place for $350 monthly . We must be free to have church without being harnessed by the police and neighbors, We can increase our attendance to 50-100. Pray for us and let more people support for the rented place .Oh one more thing tea is a must for church.
One problem we don't have sufficient money to pay the rent, After giving him a salary . There is nothing left over.

Happy Easter brothers and sisters who keeps us alive in Turkey as a church.
The church still bothered with Muslims, police and the courts but we are still there and alive.
One thing for sure Jesus is saturated amongst the people believers and non believers. There is no forgetting
One thing was said by bro Leroy former WM Director" the foundation is laid"
Brothers and sisters come what may. We have about 300 converts and the villages know that Jesus is NOT Allah.
Bro Otiniel is in MENe trying to set up an association to cover as a church.
Bro Sadik who is responsible for us being there. His whole family knows the Lord Jesus and his son is the pastor of the church. People are getting saved. Pray for Sadik. He has cancer.

Dear Brothers and Sisters : Greetings From Coban Y... and the New Life COG(TURKEY)
The church is live and well; souls getting saved in spite of the devil activities and the recalcitrant's.
We have been raided three times and all our church material confiscated.The last time was a week ago. When this happens everybody gets upset but keep coming back. the believers have no fear!!
We have decided to move outside of the village. Bro Otoniel will be back from his trip to get support for his work in Turkey..He is setting upp an association for us
We have to finally rent a place or buy A building serve as a church. the NH COG has given us several thousand dollars which we can use but it may be insufficient to do the job.When Bro Otoniel returns we will set up an association to establish a church, We are supporting the pastor but we will need income for lights, water, heat. We will need additional help if we are to function as the ONLY COG in Turkey
Turkey is very difficult being 99% Muslims.
plus we have the Syrians to deal with
Pray for us and the church, Otoniel and two sisters in Wales which are supporting us as well all the other supporters.

We will need additional help if we are to function as the ONLY COG in Turkey
Turkey is very difficult being 99% Muslims.

The church is live and well; souls getting saved in spite of the devil activities and the recalcitrant's.

Pastor Ihsan Özbek came to Diyarbakir as the spiritual leader of the 12 protestant Churches in Turkey (sic). After first meeting with Governor Hüseyin Aksoy and visiting the Greater Municipality Mayor Gültan Kışanak he held a press conference. Speaking on behalf of the commission, Kurtuluş Churches Head pastor Ihsan Özbek said they had come to Diyarbakır as the leaders of the Protestant Churches in Turkey. Özbek said that they were here as followers and representatives of Jesus Christ who repeatedly said “love one another.”
“WE CAME TO PLEAD”
Özbek noted that they came under the weight of Almighty God who cannot remain a spectator as the people whom he created with his love are suffering so terribly and facing death. Özbek said “It is obvious to all of us that hate, anger and conflict have not and will not bring peace. We came to beg all parties to take steps towards peace to escape from this terrible vortex. Between the tears being shed and the smoke of the battles our eyes can’t see and our minds can’t think. In this current atmosphere no steps can be taken for peace and goodness, we have come to plead ‘Stop, think again’. We came to beg our government to demonstrate its greatness by showing mercy and justice to all its children, and on the other hand, to plead with those of our citizens who are seeking solutions by ‘digging trenches’ to choose to express themselves without weapons.”
“WE HAVE HOPE OF LIVING IN BROTHERHOOD”
Özbek, who explained that he had hope that in Turkey we could live in peace and brotherhood, emphasized that those bodies that represent the will of the people, the parliament, the President, the government and local administrations, must work hand in hand. Özbek continued:
“Without looking at who is right and who is wrong, the moment we can say ‘fighting is not necessary, we will solve these problems with dialogue’ then the dark clouds will immediately lift from our country. No matter where you are, we plead with all our citizens to hold out your hand today to make tomorrow’s peace a reality today. We love our country and we pray blessings at all times for everyone, from the greatest to the least, both for our leaders and for all the people. And we don’t just pray; we will knock on every door until peace comes to our country.”
Özbek explained that they would make appointments to visit the President and the Prime Minister to bring these pleas to them as well.

this is a progress report. you can remember the many adversities we have. We have reported them to you but The Lord keeps us going and the devil keeps coming back. but I know in whom I believe.
just received a report from Cruz for info and prayer about Pastor Y... of the New
Life COG. we need prayer.
Dear Brothers:
As you know Yildiray was attacked by a group of young like 5 or 6. They used sticks to hurt him, he lose conscious and some neighbors took him to the hospital. They broke some ribs on the left side and thanks God he is still alive.
I just talked with him and maybe he will be at the hospital at least 2 more days, the doctors have doing some therapy to him.
We are sad for the incident, praying for them and planing to visit the group after 2 weeks.
The big obstacle to open the association now is that we do not have a place and we can not use Y address.
Anyway in my next trip I will see with the church in Izmir and with TEK if we can get some legal back up.
I am planing to use a local church in izmir to meet with Y and some of the potential leaders.
Please keep praying, I think it was not an accident, behind is satan and somebody else.

Greetings brothers and sisters from the New Life Church of God(Turkey)
It seems as if anything can go awry it will but we are use to it after 23 years coming and going in Turkey. Let me start by relating my first experience in Turkey where the Lord Jesus uniquely manifested Himself . The first time we WERE praying for this comatose man an artist by profession. as we were praying this comatose man began to talk; he said" Isayi kabul ediyorum"" I am accepting Jesus". before he died he raised up and confirmed to his son that he truly was a child of God. His son Safak is my friend for 30 years. My journey has been worth it all just for this one soul.
Now we have a church and the devil has been fighting all the way. We have reported all these events to you. thank you for your support. we have a real crisis in the church as described by Pastor Y..... below

For this moment the church is in difficulty. I also am in a difficult situation as well.
on August 8 they(probably neighbors) complained and the police took me to the police station. i gave a statement And they told me meetings here are forbidden.
Further if there are anymore complaints I could be sentenced 3 years in prison and given a penalty of 2500 lira
I don't know what I will do. Therefore I wanted from you expeditiously something. Otherwise My situation will be difficult to go inside( prison ???)

In 22 years that we have struggled to carry the Gospel we see the COG spreading from the Bulgarian border to Istanbul to the south nearly to the Mediterranean .
All because we finally found a local pastor Y.... Who has limited education but is willing to become the Coban of the Kuzulari.
Sheherd of the lambs and has deep influence among ALL gypsies and some Turks.. Greetings from the pastor and the CoG (Turkey). Here is what he has done.
1 evangelized his local area and has 50+ converts
2. To the south he has a complete village and adjacent city of about 40 people saved.
3. To the north near Bulgaria he got a brother saved and 8 others.
4. In Istanbul 2 generations: I as a believer and allows me to witness with them and they feed me.8 people saved
5. But we are talking about pastor Y... Who is doing an incredible job having about 115 converts since April 20 2014 organization day of the first COG in Turkey.
That is just a few things ,. His mode of transportation is his feet.
Interesting thing is happening in his village .people who cannot come to church on Sunday has started inviting pastor Y...
To bring the church to their home during the week. Praise God

Memo 23 10-6-2014 New Life COG(Turkey)
Dear brothers and sisters : greetings from the New Life COG (Turkey)and pastor Y......
The church is live and well holding prayer meetings every Sunday night due to people being unable to come during the day.
Last night there was 18 in attendance but 3 were new and accepted the Lord which brings the total to 115 since organization
Of the church. Praise God for His mercy and giving someone to carry the Gospel when we cannot be here all the time.
During the week money permitting Pastor Y.... Travels to other areas where he has 25-30 people in attendance.
Due to rain and inclement weather attendance is off . Our people have no cars and the pastor rents car as money allows to go
To distant meetings or takes a bus which is a long journey.
Dear ones Pastor Y...... is a jewel sent from heaven. All we have to do is providing him support. I asked him how did he get by
When his money ran out because he is working for the Lord having abandoned his metal job. He said his kids help. Praise God for a dedicated man who has minimum education. He keeps records by name and how he spends his money.
I am on my way home to collect Christmas items provided by the Monroe Mi COG. They are preparing Christmas Stockings and cards with teddy bears like items. They send them to my home in Ca and I box them for a return trip. We have approx . 175 families to give away Christmas gifts. We have not received contributions for Christmas yet but we are sure you will help us.

We have been blessed to be a part of the church formation in Turkey. Before I leave I have been trying to visit a group brother of pastor Y....along the Turkey/ Bulgarian border but it is difficult to get there and time does not permit. My brother Sahin a convert in Istanbul says we can do that visit around Christmas time. Maybe take some gifts to them even if it is time consuming; but for the Kingdom we are willing to do it!!!!!
That's what life is all about for us. It's not me,mine,or my; it's the KINGDOM!!!!

Dear sisters and brothers : greetings in the name of Jesus.
Due to the increase in the body of Christ in our area due to Pastor Y.... Having 110+'converts since April 20 , 2014 establisment of the New
Life Church Of God (Turkey) we have a greater requirement for Christmas Baskets. Last year we distributed 100 baskets.
Now we estimate 150-175 baskets . We have about $7000 . The estimate for 175 baskets is $11000-12000.
We are short $4,000 -$5000.
We need help if we are to give each family a Christmas baskets. Can you help?. Need again is $4000-5000
This week I went to the church in Menemen to visit those we had not had time to pray with. The most important to me is the father of our pastor. 10 years ago he welcomed us into his home. Practically all of his kids and grandchildren have Jesus in their life and are a part of the new church. Praise God. When he welcomed us he welcomed our Savior.
Then I went to Zafer's home to pray and talk about Jesus being the final Sacrifice. His son married an unbeliever. So we are talking with her about the Final Sacrifice. So appropriate since this weekend is the sacrificial holiday in the Muslim world. On the street are trucks filled with lambs and other animals to be slaughtered for Allah . Y ou cannot believe the hundreds of animals being sold in that location. They pay for the remission of sins via the blood of the animals. Cost is $400-$500.
Every body should see these activities. You would appreciate Jesus more!!!!!!!
Enough on that since I must condone it for the whole weekend.
I am returning to the states to pick up a box of Christmas stockings made by the Monroe COG Michigan .bro Byrd's church thanks to bro Dr and sis Chapman . They not only do their mission work but help us thank you. Praise God.

First of all I visited Zafer who had telephoned anxious to know where I was .
His son got married. In addition to his kidney he says he is scheduled for emplacement of 4 stents this weekend.
Saints I don't know how Zafer can live with 3 surgeries and dialysis 3 times a week. Pray for this brother. I help them by having
The wife make me scarves and I pay her. We just don't give away money for service to Jesus. Hold them up in prayer.
Secondly I visited the gypsy camp to say hello and they were very sad that we had not been there for months.
I told them we could not get anyone besides me to carry the Gospel to them. It was a sad meeting. But we will go there Saturday to worship and feed them. They were delighted; what surprised me the speak the Christian language lost by many Christians .
The New Life COG (Turkey) is live and well. I saw it in action I looked their neat records.

Of course he has been going to 500 km location and 32 have accepted The Lord .
The most interesting story is his brother in Istanbul called referring pastor Y..... To a village in Istanbul interested in The Lord . . This weekend he borrowed a car and money went and ministered. 8 souls came to Jesus. Praise The Lord
His adobe type home flooded out with intense rain this past two weeks
We will worship as a church Sunday.
I asked him was he pursuing his old job; the answer was no. By faith He is working for Jesus full time.
God brought him out of the darkness and fulfilled His will because He could not get anyone to come here and stay and evangelize.
I want to cry for joy that God has raised up a local to what He could not get others to do.
Forgive me Lord for not doing more and complaining about those who would not do anything.
Souls are being Saved. That's what is all about. Folks we have an opportunity to influence the cause of Christ
And the COG in this area. Support support support. I would like to give this brother more than $500 monthly average
Of what I have been giving. Oh souls of God don't you feel what I feel!!!!
Everywhere I went I was greeted with open arms. I have never been loved so much by an unknown people than now.
I have a big problem. Because of the work of pastor Y.... I have to plan on 200 Christmas baskets instead of 100.
I wish bro Sheeks was here to help me.as you know he was the impetus for the beginning. I have manual help now but we need support.

We are on our journey; presently in Istanbul visiting our believers and unbelievers witnessing and encouraging
Our believers.
We will rest a couple of days having arrived last night After 13 hr flight ; we will get our focus, pray and plan. We have about 6 prayer groups and two churches to visit.
We will also be praying for the sick and seeking out the survivors of the coal mine explosion . We lost 90 young men in one out villages . We want ourselves to become known for helping and not just evangelization only.
Pray for us as we prepare to make an 8-12 hr drive to our condo in Bergama
Be blessed and we solicit your prayers.

Dear Brothers and Sisters greetings in the name of the Holy One of Israel Jesus the Messiah
Let me start my report in a different way. THE WINDOW IS PRESENTLY OPEN FOR THE CONVERSION OF MULTIPLE HUNDREDS in our area in Turkey. We must give accountability to God the Father if we neglect so great an opportunity. It has taken 9 years to come this far..
It behooves us by the Grace of God to take action in nurturing and solidifying the Lords Church which is pastored by bro Y.....who is just returning from our satellite prayer group about 100 KM' S from their home where they had 28 in church last Sunday..
The satellite village for the most part is converted for it is the home of Pastor Y... wife's sister. They are hungry for the Gospel and are receptive to the Word as preached by Bro Y...Conversions have increased form 62 to 72 since organization of the Lord's Church Easter April 20, 2014. praise God.. Do I hear an amen??
Pastor Y's... wife has a notebook and recording the names and activities of the evangelization effort and of the church..
I don't know about you but this is a dynamic/Godly decision made on the part of the first 15 members of God's church 20 April, 2014..
We are giving Pastor Y.. a small stipend equal to his average 2 weeks earning but he is devoting more time to the ministry than to his collection of metal and selling it to recycle factory. The ministry is more rewarding for him and the local people.His mode of transportation are buses. He takes his family with him wherever he goes.
We have a man that has the confidence of his community and is willing to give of himself totally without reservation. He has not ask me for one cent since he assumed the role of pastor but he has the confidence in me that I will not abandon him and the flock because we have a record of going back and back and back and back for about 9 years; just sharing the WORD and carrying the Light of Jesus which had not shone for about 1000 years.He says "I miss you" LOVE!!! unconditional!!
Thank you Lord for directing us to this location which to us was coincidental but to You Lord, Holy Spirit directed.
We are going to Turkey mid Sept and HOPE we can change the environment for the Pastor and his family. Therefore being more comfortable and being in a more friendly community and bigger facility so 50+ people can worship.We also will plan for the Christmas celebration when we give away Christmas baskets and red Christmas Stocking filled with goodies.

Good morning brothers and sisters. Greetings in the name of the Infinite Servant Jesus.
As I was praying this morning I felt The Lord urging me to start the second church in the distant
Village..
Pastor Y... Says there is a responsible Person there who can handle the job. Not because of this I do it but
Because of The Lord urging. After all the early church did the same thing on a shoestring or leather thong and The Lord
Spoke to men and women where to go. Distance is of no concern of The Lord ; he owns all the chariots and cars inn the world; also He has the Holy Spirit to hep us.
Pray for me as we go forward in Sep to do His explicit Will.
Blessings and that is all.thus we can have church is both locations simultaneously .

Dear Brothers and Sisters greetings in the name of the Holy One of Israel Jesus the Messiah
Let me start my report in a different way. THE WINDOW IS PRESENTLY OPEN FOR THE CONVERSION OF MULTIPLE HUNDREDS in our area in Turkey. We must give accountability to God the Father if we neglect so great an opportunity. It has taken 9 years to come this far..
It behooves us by the Grace of God to take action in nurturing and solidifying the Lords Church which is pastored by bro Y.....who is just returning from our satellite prayer group about 100 KM' S from their home where they had 28 in church last Sunday..
The satellite village for the most part is converted for it is the home of Pastor Y... wife's sister. They are hungry for the Gospel and are receptive to the Word as preached by Bro Y...Conversions have increased form 62 to 72 since organization of the Lord's Church Easter April 20, 2014. praise God.. Do I hear an amen??
Pastor Y's... wife has a notebook and recording the names and activities of the evangelization effort and of the church..
I don't know about you but this is a dynamic/Godly decision made on the part of the first 15 members of God's church 20 April, 2014..
We are giving Pastor Y.. a small stipend equal to his average 2 weeks earning but he is devoting more time to the ministry than to his collection of metal and selling it to recycle factory. The ministry is more rewarding for him and the local people.His mode of transportation are buses. He takes his family with him wherever he goes.
We have a man that has the confidence of his community and is willing to give of himself totally without reservation. He has not ask me for one cent since he assumed the role of pastor but he has the confidence in me that I will not abandon him and the flock because we have a record of going back and back and back and back for about 9 years; just sharing the WORD and carrying the Light of Jesus which had not shone for about 1000 years.He says "I miss you" LOVE!!! unconditional!!
Thank you Lord for directing us to this location which to us was coincidental but to You Lord, Holy Spirit directed.
We are going to Turkey mid Sept and HOPE we can change the environment for the Pastor and his family. Therefore being more comfortable and being in a more friendly community and bigger facility so 50+ people can worship.We also will plan for the Christmas celebration when we give away Christmas baskets and red Christmas Stocking filled with goodies.

Dear brothers and sisters greetings from the new Life COG (Turkey)sad day for the church

There is a meeting this week to consider money for a building for the New Life COG in Turkey. "It is by the Spirit smith The Lord " ....Pray for us
Then verse 8 basically " then they will know I am The Sovereign Lord of Everything"
Pray for His will be done!!!!!!!! . I hold up the hands like Aaron did Moses for Gods. Will be done. My heart is heavy this morning as I pray for all the people who love us and don't love us in Menemen Turkey. This scripture is what we live by. Zechariah 4;6,7

Happy Easter in a special way and personal instead of eggs, bunny rabbits , new dresses and hat, suits with ties, big dinners, watching sports,family gatherings etc etc etc
And to you all may the Risen Lord bless you and give you all your needs. He is awesome in spite of our sickness and adversities . The pain He endured was greater than we would ever go through. making our salvation free for the asking.
I just left a Turk who had lost full use of both kidneys, had a appendectomy while on dyalisis , whose garage collapsed and who must have stints for each coronary and barely existing due to ..monetary loss( his wife works when they call her $10 a day making wicket baskets to eat). . We had communion and praised Jesus for dying for our sins and that He rose from the dead and ascended to sit at the right of the Father interceding for us.. Amin ve. Amin. Forgive me my heart is aching .Rambling and dissertation are finished. Happy Easter.

Dear bros and sisters. Greetings in the name of the Risen Christ.
I finally got to Bergama today after visiting some believers and unbelievers. The fear of approaching Muslims has dissolved . It's a natural thing for me to approach one of another religion. Why I met the Master . He broke bread in my presences as thee disciple saw after The Lord arose from the dead; causing them to believe again.
I have started witnessing and made one visit to Safer who had lost use of his kidneys after receiving a Christmas basket. I have written about him and let me recap because the story is sad. It seems our prayers are ineffective.. After the kidney episode.
He had an appecedectomy..
His garage fell and it is out of the rain where the son can earn money without being soaked. I helped him some. I wrote WM who did not even answer.
Now you cannot believe the next chapter. All 5 coronaries require stents. One has been replaced.
The second will be replaced Monday. This is done this way. He takes a bus to the hospital mon AM. After the stent he immediately takes the bus home. No recovery.
On Tuesday he returns for his dialysis treatment. This is unbelievable. This will continue weekly till all stints are done. .to date 9 adverse events will happen.with no help from "Christians" for him who is helpless.
Folks if a brother needs help this brother does. I have helped. Maybe you can do something. He has been abandoned by his who family except, wife,daughter in law and me.he has been abandoned by his family. He has nothing to give them.
Sad sad sad sad sad. He is a brother in The Lord. How can we continue to not help a destitute brother,
I will go to Menemen tomorrow to minister.. I really love these people and they love me unconditionally .

Dear Bro and sisters: Greetings on 11 April we are going to Turkey for Easter celebrating with our brothers and sisters
from the time we went into Bergama here is a document itemizing purchases and expenditures. Even though you helped immensely my wife and I had to start the ball rolling. This document explains that not for purpose of credit for ourselves but for the glory of God. For your info only leading up to our future of the COG of which we are presently the only COG representation in all of Turkey.
We do not pretend to own anything. All we own and spend belongs to the COG
Memorandum For Record.
This document is written for information purposes not for self-aggrandizement .
The condo in Bergama (Pergamos) where the workers live when they are conducting mission activities was purchased by me out of my own personal funds in the beginning of our work in lieu of paying $3000 annual rent. No tax break was requested from COGWM.
Additionally, My wife and I partially supported the early workers out of our personal funds via COGWM. Sis Yolanda would give us credit for these funds for our tax filing. We have been self supporting in Turkey for many years to keep the mission work alive. Using our personal money for living expenses. We borrowed money and leveraged our property to find money to support the work in Bergama and for our trips. This included evangelization of surrounding villages. We are still In debt for past trips and mission activities
Upon my death I bequeath the condo in Bergama Turkey to the Church of God, Cleveland TN. Until then I will control the property to insure it is maintained. Also I will continue to pay the association dues and property taxes.
I told bro Leroy former Director of WM about this also. But I feel I needed to renew this commitment to insure all are aware of the situation regarding the condo in Bergama(Pergamos)
We will start our program with celebrating Easter with communion and candies with the kids
MAJOR OBJECTIVE
DYNAMIC PUSH INTO MENEMEN N. OF SMYRNA TO START A CHURCH. NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP US JESUS SAID" I AM GOING TO DETHONE SATAN"
By mandate of the Lord Jesus we are making a push in Menemen and Helvaci Koy north of Smyrna . Cities close to each other. we have selected a name approved by the people " New Life Church of God""Yeni Hayat Tanrinin Kilisesi: when we get there we hope this is revalidated. WE have been encouraged by brothers and sisters by saying it is TIME..
1. select a local pastor. We cannot get anyone to stay there. Indigent pastor is the only option since 12 foreigners have come and left. They just don't want to stay there. eventually as the pastor is proves himself maybe we can pay him a salary
2. select an interim council/, Bro Dinko and I will guide the pastor for the time being.
3. Select a secretary who will manage the finances. Tithes will be emphasized even though they are poor. Set up the church books.
4. The church will be run per the COG rules and regulations.
5. the funds will be personal funds. Presently we will not use WM funds in the beginning. we don't want to run into conflicts. Friends and I will leverage our property to fund the establishment of the church.
6. We expect the church be authenticated by the COG once we get the church organized. It will be the first COG in the country of Turkey.
We know we cannot do this alone. It takes God and brothers and sisters to help us. We will let you know as we need help. We have to deal with the villaage chief,police. hierarchy in Ankara, neighbors, the Jandarma(like the FBI) we have worked in this area 8 years and encountered min problems. Pray for us in any event.
Do pray for us because without prayer we cannot succeed.
