We can't stop the migrants: EU says Britain has 'MORAL DUTY' to Turkey to accept refugees
THE EU sparked a furious row last night by saying Britain and the rest of the bloc had a “moral duty” to accept all refugees arriving by boat.

Christos Stylianides, the EU commissioner in charge of immigration, enraged Eurosceptics by insisting that turning boats full of migrants round and sending them back to Turkey or Libya is “against our EU values.”

Mr Stylianides is said to have to become angry when he was asked why the EU has not adopted the Australian system of sending boats full of illegal migrants back to their point of origin.

The revelation came as EU leaders threw open the Continent’s doors to Turkey in a deal to tackle the refugee crisis.

Talks to start the Turkish accession to EU membership process will now start in days and will eventually give its 77million citizens the right to come to the UK.
In the meantime the Schengen area countries will give Turkey visa free access in exchange for allowing Greece to return migrants who arrive after Sunday back to Turkey after being assessed.

And the EU has promised to accelerate payment to Turkey £2.3bn promised last November with a further £2.3bn to also be made available.

The Daily Express has learnt that the European Commission is now blocking a radical Australian style proposal to turn ships around at see and not let the migrants land in Europe.

The same policy was being pushed by Prime Minister David Cameron at the EU summit this week.
The plan was raised by a very senior MEP at a private meeting earlier this month as the solution to Europe’s refugee crisis.

But according to sources at the briefing, Mr Stylianides, a Greek Cypriot, at first tried to ignore the question and then “exploded” with anger when pressed on it.

MEPs in the room were said to be “shocked and surprised” by his response to what many believe is “a reasonable solution” to end the crisis.

At the meeting Mr Styliandes claimed that it is Europe’s “moral duty” to take in the refugees flooding in from North Africa and the Middle East.

He also privately acknowledged concerns over allowing Turkey visa free access to the Schengen area countries which would allow the country’s 77million citizens to come to the UK in five years time.

The commissioner, whose own country has been torn apart by a Turkish invasion, told MEPs: “I am not naive, I understand your concerns about Turkey but we have no choice.”

Already there is fury over how an open-door policy has led to hundreds of women in Cologne and other German cities being sexually abused by “Arabic” immigrants.

The EU has been brought to the edge of collapse by the surge of thousands of migrants with 1.2 million arriving in the last 12 months and 150,000 already this year.

Many want the Australian system of turning around ships full of migrants, giving them food and water and ensuring they will not sink but then sending them back.

After the Australian government introduced the policy illegal immigrants stopped making the dangerous sea crossing to the country.

Mr Cameron made it clear on Thursday night that he wants the same to happen to ships coming from Turkey full of refugees and his proposal to have EU naval vessels in Libyan territorial waters was aimed at helping the coastguard there carry out the same tactic.

Greece now looks set to start sending migrants back to Turkey from the beginning of next week after a proposed “one in, one out” scheme apparently won the approval of EU leaders in Brussels.

Under the scheme drawn up by European Council president Donald Tusk and Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu, any migrant arriving in Greece after March 20 would be given a swift individual interview to determine whether they will be allowed to remain or sent back to Turkey.

After less than an hour of discussions, the prime ministers of Finland and the Czech Republic tweeted from inside the European Council negotiations to announce that the 28 leaders had given their approval to the arrangement.

Mr Tusk’s spokesman said that the agreement made clear that any removals would have to be “in full compliance with international and EU law” and that there would be no “collective expulsions”.

He added: “The cut-off date is March 20 - that is on Sunday. All migrants arriving after that cut-off date will be returned after individual assessment.”

The spokesman said the new arrangements would come into force at the end of Sunday, so the first migrants facing return would be those crossing the Aegean Sea to the Greek islands on Monday morning.

The developments provoked fury among Eurosceptics. UKIP Migration spokesman Steven Woolfe said: “It’s clear that the EU has got absolutely no moral obligation to accept them.

“To say it is against EU values to send economic migrants back to home is ridiculous. And what are EU values? Ignoring referendum results in France, Netherlands and Ireland.

“It seems to me that only value that the EU holds is to increase power for itself, and pay for its bureaucrats.

He said: “This deal is the worst of all possible worlds. Giving visa free access to Turkey will mean increased numbers of people coming to Europe.

“And fast tracking an unstable Turkey into EU membership is madness. I feel more confident than ever that Turkey IN means Britain OUT.”

However, Mr Cameron insisted that the deal showed Britain “has the best of both worlds in the EU” because it will not take any extra refugees, or give Turkey visa free access “but still gets to be in the room to decide how we deal with this crisis.”

He also claimed that “borders are going up over Europe not down, which is a good thing”.

He claimed that there had been “scare stories” about Turkey and that he had looked at Germany where only two per cent who arrived from outside Europe have got citizenship within a decade.

He also dismissed the prospect of Turkey joining the EU because he argued other countries will veto it.

He pointed out that France would need a referendum on it “and the last poll showed 75 per cent are against” Turkey joining the EU.

He added: “I don’t believe that Turkey is an issue for this referendum.”

Herein lies the root of the problem with Islamic law. Unlike Jewish law, which pertains only to Jews or Canon Law, which pertains only to Catholics, sharia law asserts its authority over non-Muslims. Islam is supremacist in nature.

Religious Jews are forbidden from eating pork, but you never heard or saw them demanding that others follow suit. It would never enter their minds.

Wherever they immigrate, they slowly but surely start to make these demands on the host country. Chip, chip, chip. Accommodation gives way to more demands.

Muslim immigration presents a unique problem, because a good number of Muslims come to the West with… a ready-made model of society that they believe is superior… that they wish to implement in the West.

In this case, a respite care facility — home to people living with physical disabilities, sensory loss, brain injury or learning disabilities — patients were refused bacon sandwiches by Muslim staff members. It’s bad enough these people are sick, they have to be abused and denied by supremacist staff.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) report said complaints had been ignored on a number of occasions.

“This meant that staff were not providing support that was responsive to the person’s preferences and were restricting the person’s right to choice,” the report said.

“The person said they had raised their concern with senior staff members but nothing had been done about it.”

A millionaire property developer has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he accidently tripped and fell on her.
 
Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on an 18 year-old-girl who had slept on his sofa in his Maida Vale flat after a night out drinking.
 
The businessman had already had sex with the teenager’s 24-year-old friend, whom he already knew, in the bedroom and said his penis might have been poking out of his underwear when he fell on the teen.
 
The young woman said she had woken up in the early hours of the morning, with Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her.
 
He claimed he had gone to see if the young woman wanted a t-shirt to sleep in, or a taxi home. But he said she pulled him on top of her and placed his hand between her legs.
 
His semen and DNA was found inside the young woman, but he said it was possible he had semen on his hands from having sex with the 24-year-old earlier.
 
In the evidence, Mr Abdulaziz showed how the girl had put her hand behind his head to pull him towards her, which is how he says he fell.
 
He said: “I’m fragile, I fell down but nothing ever happened, between me and this girl nothing ever happened.”

A hospital probe eventually concluded that he was right to ask woman to change, but no matter.

BRITAIN faces a “very, very serious threat” of an imminent Paris-style attack and security services are working “around the clock” to thwart any plots on UK soil, Europe’s top police officer has warned.

Rob Wainwright, director of Europol – the EU’s law enforcement agency – said many of the estimated 5,000 European jihadis who had fled to Syria and Iraq to join Islamic State had returned.

And Britain appears to be at the centre of the continent’s escalating security crisis, with around 40 per cent of Europol’s casework involving a “British element”.

Mr Wainwright said: “I think it is likely that we will have another attack.

“We are working of course around the clock to prevent that from happening but this is a very, very serious threat.”

Europe’s current threat level is at its highest for 10 years in the wake of attacks in the French capital last November and intelligence that suggests an attack is highly likely.

The former MI5 officer also used the warning to highlight apparent dangers of Britain leaving the EU.

The British terror chief said it would be “difficult for the UK to replace what it currently relies on in the EU with arrangements that would be as effective and as cost efficient as well”.

London is a more “Islamic” city than much of the Muslim world put together, a leading Muslim scholar has argued.

Maulana Syed Ali Raza Rizvi, a prominent Shia cleric, who was born in Pakistan and studied in Iran, said he “feels more Islamic” in Britain than other countries because of the freedom to worship and the multicultural mix.

He said Islam could be summed up as being about “love and justice” but that the “Muslim political leadership” around the world was failing to foster this.

He was speaking alongside the Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, and the Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis at the annual Benedict XVI Lecture, an interfaith discussion event in London.

The three leaders discussed how members of their own faiths had, in different ways, lived as “creative minorities”.

Maulana Rizvi said that unlike their “Jewish and Christian brothers”, Muslims in Britain were a new community, established for decades rather than centuries, and had a “lot to learn” from other religious groups.
But he added: “I feel that London has more Islamic values than many of the Muslim countries put together.

“There are many different communities living together in peace and harmony, giving respect to the others and loving others and that is what Islam is all about – and unfortunately [much] of the Muslim political leadership has failed to provide that.

“I feel more Islamic living here because I can easily practise my faith and give respect to all other members of the community belonging to different faiths and not even belonging to a faith, to anything.

“Because that is what Islam is all about, respecting and giving to others … if in one line I could say what Islam is all about, it is all about love and justice.”

Israel’s Highest Ranking Muslim Soldier
There’s only one country in the Middle East that could produce a soldier like me.

In the last few weeks, students across the UK have been involved in Israeli Apartheid Week.  Some have supported it. Others have opposed it. Invited by the Zionist Federation UK, last week I was able to attend campuses up and down the country specifically to address and counter some of the claims involved.

These fall into roughly three categories. First, that Israel is an inherently racist and therefore unacceptable country, comparable to Apartheid South Africa. Second, that its army defends this racist status with acts of illegal and immoral violence. And third, that the only solution to this problem is through the isolation tactics of boycotts.
Like many I met during my visit, I oppose these views. But perhaps more than most people on either side of the debate, I am better placed to argue against them. Because I am an Israeli, an Arab, and the highest ranked Muslim in the IDF.

Is Israel inherently racist, an apartheid state? Well, do you think that such a country would tolerate a person like myself getting to the position I am today? Forget for a second (BDS supporters would like you to forget permanently!) that 20 percent of Israelis are non-Jewish, have full rights, and are represented throughout society. It’s one thing, after all, to have Arab politicians, Christian voters, and Muslim doctors – although we do have them, and quite a few at that.
But a non-Jewish army Major? Someone who has not only fought alongside Jewish soldiers, but now trains them too? Would a truly racist state allow me to play such an integral role in our nation’s defenses?


And while we’re on the subject of those defenses, let me tackle accusation two: that the Israel army is a particularly immoral one. I am not particularly religious, but as the Quran says, “if anyone killed a person, it would be as if he killed the whole of mankind; and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole of mankind.”

I do not serve in the army to kill people – I serve in it to save people. When Hamas fires rockets, or Fatah encourages stabbings, we are here to protect the lives of all Israeli citizens, Jewish and non-Jewish.

And so on to the last point – that the best way to resolve violence and conflict is through the kind of tactics advocated by the Boycotts movement. Namely, isolation and intimidation. For me, this is the most important issue, and the one which makes me shake my head with anger and sadness the most.

Like I said, I visited the UK to combat Israeli Apartheid Week, to challenge the lies and mistruths hurled at the country I am proud to call home. But what hurts me the most is not how unbelievable they are. The opposite, in fact. They are all too believable, and I should know – because I once believed them too.
I was raised to believe the worst things about Jews, and had I not eventually met and worked alongside them, I might still believe those things today.

The reality is that the town I grew up in did not recognize the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state. While Arabic is an official language, I did not learn Hebrew until I was 17. I was raised to believe the worst things about Jews, and had I not eventually met and worked alongside them, I might still believe those things today.
In my role as a soldier, I have met all kinds of people both in Israel and the Palestinian territories. Jews, Arabs, Religious, Secular, Left-wing and Right-wing. I have met Israelis who were prejudiced against me. But I have also met Palestinians who appreciate the work that I do to maintain some sort of peace and stability in the most dangerous part of the world.
Forget slogans and shouting. Peace – real peace – will only come when people talk to each other. Not necessarily agree – just agree to listen. But the irony of Israeli Apartheid Week is that it wants individuals to focus on differences, not similarities. Instead of building bridges between communities, it wants to build walls.

During my time in the UK, I spoke alongside a fellow soldier, a medic who has treated both Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists without distinction. We were the Muslim who protects Jewish lives, and the Jew who saves Muslim lives. There’s only one country in the Middle East that could produce a couple like that – and it sure as hell isn’t an apartheid state.

British MPs have been kept in the dark about decisions being made by the European Union’s increasingly powerful diplomatic corps, a Foreign Office minister has admitted.
David Lidington, the Europe Minister, has lodged a series of complaints with Federica Mogherini, the EU’s High Representative after her staff failed to share documents in time for Parliament to scrutinise them.
In the latest case in October, MPs were not briefed about EU plans to extend sanctions on Serhii Kliuiev, a Ukrainian politician accused of misappropriating state assets, after key papers were issued too late to national governments.
MPs tasked with examining the government’s policy in Brussels also complain that too many diplomatic papers are out-of-bounds because they are improperly classified as ‘limité’. They included documents relating to the appointment of the EU’s Special Representative to the troubled Sahel region of north Africa.

In an exchange of letters with Sir Bill Cash, the chairman of the European Scrutiny Committee, Mr Lidington said he was “frustrated” and “disappointed” by the situation.
The issue is highly sensitive as David Cameron made boosting the power of parliaments to halt unwanted EU legislation with “red cards” a key element of his renegotiation.

It also reflects misgivings in Tory circles at the activities of the European External Action Service, which some fear is undermining the independence and influence of the Foreign Office.
Mr Lidington told Sir Bill he had raised the failure to circulate papers on time on four previous occasions with Ms Mogherini, the EU’s chief diplomat, or her predecessor, including once in 2013 and three times in 2014. British officials are raising the problem with her office “on an almost daily basis”, he said.

He revealed that Angus Lapsley, the British diplomat in charge of foreign policy in Brussels, has also had to “push back on lobbying to ‘speed up’ UK scrutiny to adopt the mandates quickly.”
He added that Foreign Office staff “have asserted that we will not be hurried into adoption of files because of unnecessary EEAS delays in the circulation of documents.”
“Regrettably, it has not always been possible to delay adoption on the very sensitive cases, such as certain sanctions files.”
Sir Bill complained: “You will know as well as I that this sort of EEAS dilatoriness is not altogether unprecedented, and that you have written on previous occasions both to Ms Mogherini and her predecessor, Baroness Ashton. Yet it continues.”

The EEAS was created under the 2009 Lisbon Treaty, and has a staff of 3,400, a budget of 630 million euros and outposts in 140 countries including the Seychelles, Australia, Canada and Kazakhstan. In four countries, the UK shares embassy buildings with the EEAS under a policy of “co-location” to save costs.
It has counted the Iranian nuclear deal among its early successes.
But some officials complain that it is too keen to secure fast diplomatic “breakthroughs” at the expense of long-term gains, and that they spend much of their time fighting to stop badly-conceived policies.

A recent House of Lords report concluded the EU’s policy on its closest neighbour, Turkey, is in “disarray” and said the EEAS should not overstretch itself by attempting to act as global power. But it also warned that Britain’s diplomatic clout would be reduced if it quit the EU.
A British government spokesperson said: “The Government is committed to ensuring strong and effective scrutiny of EU policies by Parliament.
“As a result of pressure from the UK, there has been a notable improvement from the European External Action Service to plan and allow for national scrutiny processes. And there have been no unreasonable delays in the last six months.”

Most hate crimes against Muslims, in fact, turn out to have been faked — mostly so that Muslims can claim they’re being persecuted and that counter-terror efforts have to end. And the authorities fall for this virtually every time.

Detectives investigating the killing of an imam on his way home from a mosque have charged a man with his murder.

Jalal Uddin was found with head injuries in a children’s play area in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, after being attacked on February 18.

The 64-year-old was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Mohammed Hussain Syeedy, 21, of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, Greater Manchester Police said.

He will appear at Bury Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 17-year-old boy previously arrested on suspicion of murder is on bail until April 20.

Police were called by paramedics to the play area at the end of South Street in the Wardleworth area of the town, following reports that a man had been found injured.

Mr Uddin was taken to hospital but died a short time later. A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded he died from a head injury.

A 31-year-old man arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder has now been released without charge and eliminated from police inquiries.

Local religious leaders have called for calm, asked police be allowed to do their work and for locals not to speculate what prompted the attack….

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat rejected UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s comments made during Wednesday’s weekly Prime Minister’s Questions session in parliament.

While Barkat said that Britain is a good and important friend of Israel and of Jerusalem, he contended that Prime Minister Cameron was mistaken due to his unfamiliarity with the reality and facts on the ground.

Cameron had described construction in the Old City as “shocking” in response to a question asked by Labor MP Imran Hussain who alleged that an elderly Arab woman by the name of Nora was being forced out of her home by “Israeli settlers” in the eastern part of the city.

“It is incredibly important and I am well known as being a strong friend of Israel, but I have to say that the first time that I visited Jerusalem and had a proper tour around that wonderful city and saw what has happened with the effective encirclement of east Jerusalem, occupied east Jerusalem, it is genuinely shocking,” Cameron said.

Cameron maintained that the UK remains a strong friend of Israel, but that “we do not support illegal settlement, we do not support what is happening, and it is very important that this capital city is maintained as it was in the past.”

Barkat sardonically asked what construction Cameron finds so shocking: “Is it the newest and most advanced schools that we are building there? Is it the new roads that we are paving there? The childcare or the recreational centers? Where exactly does the Palestinian Authority invest in this way?”

He went on to cite international polls which he claimed indicate that Arab residents of the city prefer a united Jerusalem and suggested that Britain finally accept this as well. The mayor also highlighted the contrast between the lives of Arabs in Jerusalem with those in surrounding Arab countries while issuing a verbal jab at Britain itself.

“The situation of the residents of the city is significantly better than those in the countries which surround us and, needless to say, than the situation during the British Mandate in Israel,” Barkat charged.

He argued that all citizens in Jerusalem as in London have the right to live where they choose, irrespective of religion, race, or gender.

Barkat concluded by referring to Cameron as a “true friend of Israel” and by extending an informal invitation to the British prime minister to join him for a personal tour of the city. “I invite him to come and see how we have minimized the social gaps in eastern Jerusalem and I invite him to promote connections, developments, and local cooperation together with us instead of building walls and conflicts in the heart of Jerusalem.”

Despite comments made by Cameron in 2010 describing Israel’s response to the Mavi Marmara flotilla as “completely unacceptable” and Gaza as a “prison camp,” he staunchly defended Israel during Operation Protective Edge in 2014 and he has recently announced legislative plans against the boycott of Israel.

A gang of Muslim women who attacked a passer-by in a city centre walked free  from court after a judge heard they were ‘not used  to being drunk’ because of their religion.
The group – three sisters and a cousin – allegedly screamed ‘kill the white slag’ as they set upon Rhea Page as she waited for a taxi with her boyfriend.
Miss Page, 22, was left with a bald patch where her hair was pulled out in the attack and was left ‘black and blue’ after suffering a flurry of kicks to the head, back, arms and legs while motionless on the pavement.

Ambaro Maxamed, 24, students Ayan Maxamed, 28, and Hibo Maxamed, 24, and their 28-year-old cousin Ifrah Nur each admitted actual bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of five years’ imprisonment.
But Judge Robert Brown gave them suspended jail terms after hearing mitigation that as Muslims, the women were not used to being drunk. The Koran prohibits Muslims from consuming alcohol, although Islamic teachings permit its use for medicinal purposes.
After the sentencing, Ambaro Maxamed wrote on her Twitter account: ‘Happy happy happy!’, ‘I’m so going out’, and ‘Today has been such a great day’.
Yesterday Miss Page, a care worker, called the sentence ‘disgusting’ and said the gang deserved ‘immediate custody’.

‘It’s no punishment at all,’ she said. ‘And for them to say they did it because they were not used to alcohol is no excuse. If they were not supposed to be drinking then they shouldn’t have been out in bars at that time of night.
‘Even after the police came and they all ran away, one of them came running back to kick me in the head one last time.
‘I honestly think they attacked me just because I am white. I can’t think of any other reason.’
Miss Page was treated for bruises and grazes after the attack in June last year as she walked to a taxi rank with boyfriend Lewis Moore, 23, in Leicester city centre.
At the time she worked caring for people with autism and learning difficulties but gave up the job after repeated absences because of stress and flashbacks.
She is still having counselling and suffers panic attacks.
She said: ‘We were just minding our own business but they kept shouting “white bitch” and “white slag” at me. When I turned around one of them grabbed my hair then threw me on the ground.
‘They were taking turns to kick me over and over. I thought they were going to kill me.’

None of the defendants was charged with racial aggravation. Nur claimed Mr Moore, a fence builder, had been racially abusive, but this was not accepted by the prosecution.
Gary Short, mitigating for Ambaro Maxamed, said the attack was down to alcohol. He said: ‘Although Miss Page’s partner used violence, it doesn’t justify their behaviour.
‘They’re Somalian Muslims and alcohol or drugs isn’t something they’re used to.’
The four women, who all live in Leicester, were each sentenced to six-month jail terms, suspended for 12 months, at Leicester Crown Court last month.
Hibo Maxamed also received a four-month curfew between 9pm and 6am, while the others were ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
Judge Brown said that ‘those who knock someone to the floor and kick them in the head can expect to go inside’.
But he said he accepted the women may have felt they were the victims of unreasonable force from Mr Moore as he tried to defend his girlfriend, and handed the defendants a suspended sentence.
Speaking at her home, Hibo Maxamed said: ‘I’m not proud of it, it’s not something I want to talk about. I just want to get on with my life.’
When asked if she wanted to apologise, she replied: ‘What, to the public? I really don’t care.'

Child Sex Grooming Ringleader Claims He Was Convicted Due to Anti-Muslim Conspiracy
The ringleader of the Rochdale child sex grooming gang has claimed he was convicted due to a conspiracy to “scapegoat” Muslims in Britain.

Shabir Ahmed, 63, was convicted of multiple child sex offences in 2012, but has now written to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to appeal against his deportation from Britain.

Mr Ahmed, who is serving 22 years in jail, was found to be part of a gang of Muslim men who preyed on girls as young as 13 in town of Rochdale. They plied the girls with drink and drugs before “passing them around” to be abused.

Appearing before the First Tier Immigration Tribunal yesterday, Mr Ahmed said: “[Home Secretary Theresa May] says all her trouble is coming from Muslims, yet she’s the biggest trouble causer in the world.”

He said he was convicted by “eleven white jurors” and added: “It’s become fashionable to blame everything on Muslims these days.”

His appeal alleges his trial was a “miscarriage of justice”, “tainted”, “institutionally racist” and used Muslims as “scapegoats”.

Speaking for the Home Office, Vinesh Mandalia told the tribunal that Mr Ahmed’s appeal against his deportation included an appeal to the ECHR, which had been acknowledged by the court.

Mrs May stripped Mr Ahmed of his British citizenship after his conviction in the first step towards deporting him from Britain. He was born in Pakistan and first came to Britain in 1967 aged 14 before obtaining British citizenship.

The Home Secretary is allowed to strip people who were not born in Britain of their citizenship if it is “conducive to the public good”.

Mr Ahmed received a 19-year sentence at Liverpool Crown Court in May 2012 for multiple sex offences, including rape of a child. He was also given another 22 years, to run concurrently, two months later for 30 rapes against one victim.

Military police confirmed a number of incidents involving migrants who had been settled in and around the small city of Paderborn, which has been used as a base by the British Army since the Second World War.

Captain Alistair Kay, from the 1st Regiment Royal Military Police, sought to quell fears of attacks by migrants on UK forces but acknowledged investigations had been launched.

Paderborn, like many others [sic] Germany [sic] cities, has received an influx of refugees due to the on-going crisis in the Middle East, with around 6,000 new arrivals settling in in the immediate vicinity of the base in recent months.

Delivery driver 'planned to attack military personnel in Britain'

An Isil-inspired delivery driver planned to attack US or UK airmen outside their bases in Britain, a court heard.
Junead Khan, 25, allegedly used his route as a health goods deliveryman to drive past RAF bases used by the US in East Anglia, Kingston Crown Court was told.
Khan, from Luton, had originally planned to travel to Syria to join Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Isil) along with his uncle Shazib Khan.
But he changed his plans in May last year and turned his focus to attacking military personnel in Britain instead.
Opening the case, prosecutor Max Hill QC said Khan worked for TRG Logistics as a contracted driver delivering pharmaceuticals goods for Alliance Healthcare.
“It was this work that brought Khan near to armed forces bases including USAF bases in Norfolk (and Suffolk), which is relevant to Count 2 and Khan’s intentions in the period May to July,” Mr Hill said.
It included RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath which are used by the US Air Force.
Khan denies two counts of preparing an act of terrorism, in relation to his alleged plans to travel to Syria and later alleged plans to attack airmen or women in the UK.
Mr Hill told the jury it did not matter, in terms of the charge, whether Khan planned to attack British soldiers American airmen.
Shazib Khan, 23, who is Khan’s uncle despite being two years younger, denies one count of preparing an act of terrorism in connection with alleged plans to travel to Syria.
Mr Hill said Shazib Khan is not charged with any offence in connection with his nephew’s plans for a terror attack in the UK.
But both are accused of preparing to join Isil in Syria.

Mr Hill said: “However tempting it might be to allow those who wish to leave the UK to do so, upon the basis that at least they would no longer be in the UK, that provides no solution to the terrorism perpetrated by the likes of ISIL, as we all know when we think about the Paris attacks a few months ago, or indeed other terrorism offences in France or elsewhere.
"Terrorism has to be stopped, and that is why it is an offence to prepare to go and fight abroad, without us having to ‘wait and see’ whether the person or persons in question actually go. That would be too late."

British Mother Convicted for Joining ISIS with Toddler

26-year-old Tareena Shakil was sentenced to six years in prison after becoming the first British woman to join ISIS.
A 26-year-old mother of one has been convicted by an English court for joining ISIS with her son.

British-born Tareena Shakil traveled to Syria by way of Turkey with her toddler after telling her family she was going on vacation. In Ragga, she pledged allegiance to the terror group and was photographed with her son in a head covering bearing the ISIS insignia, and with an AK-47. Her inciting social media posts in late 2014 had initially alerted authorities.

Several months after joining up, however, Shakil apparently regretted her decision, finding the strictures of life under the Islamic State too limiting. In January 2015, following several internet searches for "I want to leave ISIS," the young mother fled back into Turkey with her son in tow. She was subsequently arrested trying to re-enter London.

Judge Melbourne Inman of the Birmingham court sentenced her to six years in prison. "You were well aware that the future which you had subjected your son to was very likely to be indoctrination," he said, "and thereafter life as a terrorist fighter."

Major persecution in England and in the UK, with Christians living in the Islamic “no-go” zones facing all sorts of attacks by Muslims. The Muslims throw stones at their cars, attack them with knives and fire, and say all sorts of abuses at them. As we read fromone report:

As the UK government prepares to record religious hate crimes against Muslims separately due to a massive rise in recorded incidents, some human rights activists are arguing that the government is missing a major phenomenon, possibly due to political correctness. What phenomenon? Religious hate crimes committed by Muslims, especially against those who have converted from Islam, or non-Muslims who are from predominantly Islamic ethnicities. On occasion, this phenomenon has appeared in passing in the national media consciousness and then faded out again. However, these activists say that for many, particularly Christians who are a minority in their own ethnicities, their experience of religious hate in the UK is a pretty continuous one, in some cases approaching the level of persecution in their ‘mother’ countries. It does not solely affect people who have moved to this country either, in some cases, it affects people born and brought up in the UK.

One such case is that of the Hussain family. Living life in Bradford, they have faced around 15 years of persecution because they are a Christian convert family. Persecution in the UK in the 21st century is what their children have known their entire lives including: assaults; stones thrown through car and living room windows; intimidation; false accusations to get the father arrested (the most recent being in March 2015); multiple vehicles destroyed; being forced to move house after an arson attack; and currently ongoing persecution stemming from one particularly influential Muslim family on their street. The family is of Pakistani heritage, and the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA) was recently asked to take up their case. A BPCA reearcher, who wishes to remain anonymous, said:

“I had already been aware of the family from previous reports in the media, but when I started talking to them and reading the very articulate blog one of the daughters has set up in the last year that documents their experiences, I was appalled. The media did not tell the half of it. Her life might as well have been lived out in Pakistan, because what that family has endured matches reports from Pakistan – the continuous harassment, violence, the siding of the police – UK police, I stress – with the extremists persecuting them, telling the family that they ‘brought this on themselves’ – it is utterly appalling and it needs to be exposed. If I had been given this report with all locations removed, I would have said these events had to have been in Pakistan or a Muslim country.”

However, he went on to say that while he was appalled, he was not that surprised. “I have seen similar cases before in other cities in the UK, and not even involving converts from Islam, but Pakistanis from Christian families who have been Christian for many generations. We don’t know how common these more extreme examples are, but we know these incidents are far from isolated. Many Pakistani Christians have to run a double gauntlet. They have to endure their children on the school bus being verbally abused as Christian “infidels” by Muslim schoolmates, and then also being told by whites to “go home you Muslims” also said with added racial slurs. In one case in Birmingham a Pakistani Christian family who gained asylum after fleeing Pakistan faced the same kind of physical violence and tactics here as they had in Pakistan. This happened within a couple of weeks of moving out of the asylum system and into council accommodation. The council had to re-house them. These were not converts, yet as soon as the nearby mosque found out they weren’t Muslims, the attacks started, including false accusations of desecration of the mosque, knife attacks and violence at their front door. I have been to stay with the family several times in their new home, and whilst I can’t go into details, I can tell you I have seen for myself a little of the appalling abuse they are being subjected to online.”

He went on to detail how on one of his visits to Birmingham, both white and Asian Christians detailed no go areas where it was not safe for non-Muslims to go or even park. “There was a particular climate of fear amongst Asian Christians. One comment that sticks in my memory was made by a local Asian Christian leader: ‘We know what they will do next. They will go for our children’. They were making preparations against attempts to convert their children to Islam by whatever means.”

BPCA chairman Wilson Chowdhry said: “One blog post by the daughter which was so moving was a simple one telling of her delight and relief because the family got away to London to have one week free of persecution. Unfortunately, their story matches many others out there. There are many converts to Christianity who live underground, in fear. There is a reason that other Christian organisations have set up a series of safe-houses in the UK. We understand that in at least some cases, converts have had to not only change address and name, but even their National Insurance numbers, so great is the threat they live under. A very significant number of the so-called ‘honour killings’ in this country involve victims who have converted from Islam to Christianity. This whole area is far from a British problem as there are reports of similar issues across Western Europe – France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and more.

In New “Jihadi John” Video, ISIS Terrorist Executes British "Spies", Threatens PM Cameron

A grisly ISIS video of a British-accented masked militant executing five people accused of being spies for Britain and threatening British Prime Minister David Cameron may be introducing the world to a new Jihadi John.
Though “Jihadi John”, a British Arab revealed to be Mohammed Emwazi, was reportedly killed by a US airstrike in November, a new Islamic radical seems ready to take his place as the English voice of ISIS.
The unauthenticated video is under investigation by UK security agencies, which will use voice analysis and monitoring of social media to try to identify the man on the video and find out if he is a British citizen.
In the 11-minute video, which was released by the media wing of the Islamic State, five men accused of spying for Britain “confess” to crimes against ISIS. The video then cuts to the new “Jihadi John” standing with a gun behind the five hostages, who are wearing in orange jumpsuits and kneeling on the ground.
In British-accented English, the militant speaks into the camera in the style of other ISIS propaganda videos and delivers a “message for David Cameron” in which he calls the British leader “a slave of the White House” and “mule of the Jews”.also makes claims that ISIS is preparing an invasion of Britain and that it plans to impose its radical version of Islamic law on the country.
Referring to recent British airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, the militant threatens, “Only an imbecile would dare to wage war against a land where the law of Allah reigns supreme.”

Britain acts to stem flow of young doctors recruited by Isis in Sudan
London imam adds voice to delegation to persuade medics not to respond as terrorists plea for hospital medical staff

A British delegation, including an imam from London, have visited Sudan to try to dissuade young British doctors from joining Islamic State (Isis), which has been urgently seeking more foreign medics to help at its hospitals in Syria.

The Foreign Office is coordinating efforts to prevent more Britons travelling from Khartoum’s University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST). At least 17 British doctors travelled from there to Syria during 2015 to staff Isis’s health ministry.

It has emerged that a second group of UK doctors who left Sudan for Syria have joined up with members of an earlier group who travelled to join Isis in March. According to family sources, the second group of five Britons, including two brothers from Leicester, are understood to have joined up with 20-year-old Rowan Kamal Zine El Abidine, one of a group of nine British medical staff who journeyed from Khartoum months earlier.

Both groups were said, initially at least, to be under the control of Mohammed Fakhri, a 25-year-old from Middlesbrough who also attended UMST and styles himself as the recruiter of British medics for Isis. Currently believed to be in Raqqa after evading attempts to capture him in Turkey, Fakhri ran UMST’s Islamic Cultural Association, where he radicalised his fellow British students. The association has been shut down and numerous online traces of the group have been removed following pressure from the UK authorities.

Fakhri himself appears to have gone quiet, his last known act being to publish an essay three months ago titled “To the Hesitant”, in which he attempts to reassure those who are having reservations about his project. In an earlier essay Fakhri conceded that the caliphate’s medical expertise lags behind its western counterparts, admitting: “The Islamic State realises that in fields like medicine, the non-Muslims are currently those advanced.”

Meanwhile, family sources of the young medics have told the Observer they remain in touch with their siblings and children inside the self-styled caliphate. In fact, some say contact has improved over recent months.

“Communication has become less controlled than it was. At one point we were worried they may have had their phones confiscated by Fakhri,” said a sibling of one of the initial nine medics inside Syria, who agreed to speak on condition of anonymity.

All, however, appear to have been ordered not to disclose their whereabouts, although it appears from sporadic sightings and online postings that the doctors are currently spread across the caliphate. Some appear to be stationed at a specially built medical faculty next to the Raqqa National hospital; others have been dispatched to the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo, and are based at Menbij’s National hospital, 12 miles from the Turkish border, or have been sent towards Iraq and the city of Deir ez-Zor, deep inside Isis territory.

Despite Isis’s relative success in luring young foreign doctors to Syria – Australian, Russian, Libyan and Saudi doctors have all travelled to join the militants – the group is urgently requesting more.

At least one British doctor has posted links to Tumblr accounts – now deleted – which admit that more doctors are required to join the dawlah or the state, but that it is getting harder to enter the caliphate. The account of Abu Sa’eed al-Britani said that crossing the mountains between Turkey and al-Sham (Syria) is fraught with difficulty. “I don’t believe it’s a feesible [sic] option now unless you are 100% certain that you will enter dawlah territory and do not mind the negative consequences of getting caught,” he wrote. Instead he advises potential medical recruits to consider joining Libyan, Boko Haram or Isis affiliates in Egypt.

Concern that more sleeper cells of British doctors are biding their time in Khartoum before heading to Syria have prompted some parents to reportedly withdraw their children from UMST and triggered considerable unease among UK government diplomats and the Sudanese intelligence services.

A Foreign Office source confirmed that its embassy in Khartoum was working with the university and had recently sent over a delegation headed by imam Luqman Ali, director of the Khayaal Theatre Company in London, which adapts Muslim literature not previously performed on stage.

Whitehall officials shared counter-extremist advice with lecturers and students based on work in UK universities under the Prevent programme, the government’s counter-terrorism initiative, which has been criticised for discriminating against Muslims.

An FCO spokesman said: “Since the cases of British nationals travelling from Sudan to Syria, the British embassy in Khartoum remains in contact with the University of Medical Sciences and Technology to address these concerns. We continue to support the university in its efforts to promote dialogue around these issues.”

Meanwhile, Facebook messages leaked to the Observer reveal the speed with which Fakhri was himself radicalised while a student in Khartoum. They show that in August 2014 he was still talking enthusiastically about his “postgraduate job” and pathology exams, yet within months he is thought to have travelled to Syria before persuading others to follow him.

They also reveal how, when Fakhri took over as president of the Khartoum university-based Islamic Cultural Association, he planned to bring extremist preachers on to the campus and altered the organisation’s structure. In August 2014 he divided members into classifications along the lines of male and female, religious and unreligious, Muslim and non-Muslim.

One theory is that one of Fakhri’s roles for Isis was to recruit female medics, who are prohibited under Isis from operating on males. Seven female British medics, including Lena Mamoun Abdelgadir, a 19-year-old medical student from Norfolk, are among those who have joined Isis in from Khartoum.
