Single -parenting
So much is in the media of foster parenting at the moment due to the new laws which include same sex.
We know the bible teaches us the importance of training up the child in the way it should go


can a single parent do as well as both parents?
Can a same sex couple provide all the needs?
does being a single parent and a christian make a difference one way or the other?

When we have a problem/difficulty in our lives and we go to a 'responsible' 'mature' christian what should we do when they judge us instead of bless us and help and support us through that difficulty?

Value of Online ministry in wider church setting

Is there a value to online ministry? If so, why do so many church leaders shy from it or not acknowledge that it exists and promote it as another aspect of church life?

Foster carer's in Focus
As Christians......
We know our body is the temple of the Holy ghost
It is said that changes are in the pipe line that any smokers or obese person will not be allowed to foster.
Many of these people are non Christians, or who may be smokers or what is termed as obese.
They do a wonderful service in taking on children from broken homes or for a family in need of a helping hand etc.,

Are they dividing society, should this go ahead?

I have been doing a lot if thinking lately and think a study of meanings of some important Christian words might make a good study. By this I mean words like Justification, Santification,Propitiation, even like Grace and Glory. Just a thought!! An example. Glory.The Old Testament talks of the Chakinah Glory coming in the temple.(Likely Mispelled).

Death is something which effects everyone, but do we deal with it different as christians? Can we cope better in this situation because we know more?
Personally I would say yes, but that would only be if the person I lost had given their hearts to Jesus, I guess knowing they hadn't would be terrible to deal with as we know what lies ahead. Im guessing that this may not be exactly what nutty wants discussed, it may be more along the lines of dealing with it generally. But no reason these points can't also be discussed as they are most important.

ie, As we have taken the situation into consideration and decided they are doing wrong, is this us judging?

If so is it wrong to intervene, offer advice etc?
