Are we ever too old?
Have you known anyone thats got saved really late in life? I don't really mean someone that came closer to God later in life or before they died, but someone who wasn't really a believer and then did in a BIG way?

Do you think this is possible, is it ever too late?

This is a topic which Im sure has effected everyone in some way, whether it was persoanlly or a friend or family member suffering because of bullying. Feel free to add personal experiences (no pressure) if you wish and how you dealt with them.

I don't think its easy to deal with bullying christian or not, it makes you angry seeing a loved one suffer because of it and you may have thoughts that are unchristian, which to me is fairly normal.

Often Christians are mislead by well meaning people to believe that there may be some unconfessed sin in their lives why they should be depressed.
This only adds to their misery of the illness and of no help at all.
During this Focus I would ask that in our discussion we be sensitive in our postings. Remembering that they need love and understanding. We are here just to walk alongside them in their suffering, help them to bear their load most by just 'being there for them.
Please be prayerful asking God's guidance.

Focus on: Speaking in tongues.

In light of recent posting saying speaking in tongues is for NT times and heaven only and then replying saying God same yesterday, today and forever. I am confused.... has the bible got it wrong? You are both using scripture to back your viewpoints, but I also realise that sometimes scripture can be used out of context or can mean varying things.

Is the bible correct in saying "God is the same yesterday, today and forever"?

I will be honest I watch Harry potter and read the books and i am a christian.

A few people have told me that it isn't right to do this because it encourages witchcraft. But i think i am ok to do it because it isn't as if i do witchcraft after watching the movie or after reading the book.
I just watch it for fun with my family or friends (who are not christians).

Am i right to watch Harry potter and read the books?

Many families need to go out to work due to rising cost of living and mortagages rising for example, although some receive helps from the government is there a watchdog that ensure our kids who we entrust to them..
We all are encouraged to lead a healthy life stye.
I am well aware that many schools pursue this policy.
Are we protected to leave our kids in the hands of these minders in pre school nurseries......
in health and safety.
In the interest of what we learn about too much salt and sugar in what they are given in their diet and the type of menu what we see our children are receiving..
