Can things get so wrong and so worse.
There was a holiday planned sometime ago B's sisters preference was at Tunisia there were a few others who agreed but dropped out, to top it all tickets booked only to find that B cannot enter the country without a visa as he is from N.Zealand apparently UK resident, although he has received citizenship this don't count. Less than 24 hours a ring around to find someone who will say yes to such short notice so that the holiday which was meant as a family has to be cancelled or else.

A dear workmate of my daughter said yep bouncing with joy to be able to take on the ticket with a penial of £50 for the transfer.
I must say this has caused a strain on the marriage say no more on the oversite on not getting sorted what is sure to be needed.
Yours prayers appreciated please, what should have been a family holiday has turned out not as wanted.
I pray this is the storm before the calm.
Blessings

Another beautiful sunny day here in Wales a few cotton wool clouds which was similar to yesterday when it turned out mostly a cloudless sky later.
I spent a little while in the garden this morning with my breakfast watching the birds come down to feed, then inspecting the raspberry bushes where some fruits showing, not enough for a meal but nice to just pick. Strawberries doing well also. Potatoes could certainly do with some attention will leave that to Paul who can sort later today. No plans for the rest of the day other than maybe we will have a B.B.Q. Max has just woke after a morning nap so I am off for a little while to enjoy the sun and hopefully get back later.
Have a great day.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Another beautiful sunny day here in Wales. No room on the line for any more washing to be put out but it should soon be dry for the next load, how come we have so much laundry to be done when we are wearing less clothes with the fantastic weather I ask lol, we forget so quickly how much there is with little ones.
Stef has gone off to work, whilst Brendan spend the last day with his Dad and Sister who leave for home tomorrow, I know the little ones are going to miss them so much, they have gone along also to make the most of the visit, thankfully with the internet it helps keep in touch with them the other side of the world. I must add I will miss them, it's been lovely having them over here and getting to know one another more. The time has passed so quickly.
No major plans for me today other than Paul taking me to the shops, I will be cooking an early dinner this evening, the children had a late night yesterday so need to get them back into a routine, Poppa and Kate will read them stories and put them to bed. I try to keep out of the way as much as possible that they can have as much quality time possible.
I hope at some point to get out into the garden today, only a few moments out there this morning to feed the birds, I keep taking a quick look to make sure the next door neighbours cat don't climb into the garden to harm them. I need to catch up on mail, got quite a backlog with spending less time on the PC lately.
Whatever your day, enjoy.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
A beautiful almost cloudless sky today. I spent a lot of the day in the garden, my friend Mary who is also member of our group and lives just a few doors down from me rang and asked would I have room for a honey suckle she found while looking for a pot she needed for another plant.
Recently we cleared a site where the bamboo was getting out of hand which I had shared with her and put some in a large pot for myself so yes please Mary it would do nicely to climb up at the back wall with open fencing at the top, one part get quite a bit of shade so I will probably have fern and alchemilla mollis (lady's mantle) among others which don't mind a bit of shade during part of the day.
I never got round to asking what was she potting. Mary came round with the well developed honey suckle in a bag bless her it was quite large and she had watered it.
We were having a great chat when the phone rang another online buddie of our Group Margaret to let me know her telephone number and new address explaining what is happening at her end that hubby has a new doctor and seeing a specialist soon to sort out his problem also talks of how lovely the new bungalow is and that she was able to get to church this morning, Mary popped her head around the door to say she is going, so I will catch up some more with Margaret hopefully later in the week, she did mention a huge backlog of mail so will not have time to be posting in group yet which is understandable and fine, we have life going on outside of the internet. Back in the garden more phone calls one of which my daughter Fran who was also in her garden with Bill who is feeling a little better today, explaining next week quite busy, appointment at the hospital and house visits to see what is available with the problem of helping Bill get into the bath as one example.
More visitors, then the family back in time to put the little ones to bed after a lovely day at the beach and a BBQ
So had lots of "mee time" evening for me and getting online to post around.
Whatever your day I pray it's a great one.
Blessings
Elaine.

We have had another lovely sunny day here in Wales although cloudy. I am late getting online as been enjoying the weather and "mee time", got into my shorts and top going around the flowers checking the greenfly, blackfly and other pests. I have a good set of pruners which are easy on my arms and shoulders so did a little of what I was able, Paul will at some point do the taller and thicker which needs cutting back.
Brendan's Dad went to collect Kate from the airport in London after her trip to Germany, a 3 hour drive up which was good clear roads but a little longer on the way back to Wales due to motorway jams.

Steph's friend and her son joined us in the garden for a while until the family arrived and all decided a while in the park together followed by fish and chips from nearby take away was a good idea. I didn't cook today I had a curry in a hurry in the garden, yes curry on a lovely hot day but sometimes, something you fancy does you good.
I don't like Korma so had a balti with mild curry which will be easier on the tum as I do suffer with an ulcer, but thankfully with careful eating usually do not bother me as often as long as I don't overdo the No No's. Christmas time is often worse for me with the rich foods so then I have to be extra careful.
When Kate arrived she talked of the vast difference she found over at Germany from Wales UK the weather wasn't kind either and she had warm clothing and her boots so found a cooler spot in the garden until they left for the park. There is an avenue of trees where you are able to sit so perfect on a hot sunny day but by the time they got here started to thicken so it was cardigans and light jackets. The little ones now in bed after a exciting day, a swim until Poppa and Kate and others arrived to spend time together.
There is quite a bit of a crisis that has occured in the family but leaving in God's hands and hopefully with prayer will work out, any praying buddies out there would appreciate a mention, God knows.

Tomorrow is Fathers Day in UK so hopefully as I believe I mentioned yesterday a picnic is on the menu instead of going out for a meal together here's hoping the weather turns out good yet again to accomodate.

The family returns to New Zealand and Australia next week so things should not be as hectic this end but who know's what tomorrow brings.

Whatever your day or circumstance
Be happy fit yourself to what is don't try to adjust anyone but yourself.
Blessings
Elaine.

Good morning Hi Everyone,
I decided to do a quick hello and post around some before I do a thorough scan on my PC I did switch on early this morning at about 9am after I had spent time in the garden, but got the breakfast dishes out of the way, only to have a minor interruption which thrawted my plan, hence a little later in doing things online.
The weather is promised to brighten up I do hope so as there are flowers in buds that could do with some sun rays.
Kate, Brendan's sister will be arriving back from her trip to Germany tomorrow just in time for Father's Day over here in UK on Sunday, Steph thought a good idea to have a picnic instead of going out to a meal with the purse being tight everywhere I think a brilliant idea and a plus is that the forecast is good weather.
I need to upload some things made for me to my Photobucket to use then get on with the deep scan needed for my PC hopefully all will be well and I can at some point in the day return to post some more.
Have a great day all.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
We have had a lovely sunny day here in Wales today, a number of clouds and a breeze but all in all a good bit of sunshine.
I have had a quite busy day replying to mail and PMs also taking breaks to catch up on others things so posts have had to go out as and when I found the time.
Brendan took advantage of the fine weather to take his Dad to another of our surrounding mountains to take in another of the fabulous view which can been seen today was as far as over the Bristol channel into England across the waters you could also make out the Devon coast.
Brendan had a new camera for his birthday so have taken many panoramic photographs from our surrounding mountains hopefully when he has the time these will be put on the net to share with the family over in New Zealand and Australia. Well I had better press on as have much more posting I would want to get out and hopefully have a somewhat early night.
For those off to bed have a good nights rest and wake refreshed.
For those with the day ahead have a great one.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hello Everyone,
I could have began posting early this morning but decided to have a change of routine a little even though it was convenient.
Brendan was out with his Dad once again taking along little Max so I decided to have some "mee time" after my shower, taking time over what to wear, makeup and my hair instead of the usual grocery shop I
meandered around the little shops in town, taking in how much things have changed over the course of years. There seem to be a lot more eateries and coffee shops which I suppose must be doing well due to the fact we do have quite a lot of tourist come to our area with our famous consentric Castle with leaning tower being one of the largest example in Europe, plus many other Welsh attractions.
I was pleased to see the small jewelry shop still in existance which sell Welsh gold (Clogau) highly prized because of its origin and scarcity and proud of the tradition in the Royal family to use especially as wedding rings since I believe 1923 and used til this day.

I am not one for expensive jewelry even if I could afford, but do have a Clogau wedding ring actually, didn't get round to marrying the guy but he insisted I keep another long story from my past.
It was good to have some time to myself and reflect on things as usually things so hectic these days.
It's good to try make time for yourself even to squeeze in a half hour, my time is usually spent in the garden if it is not raining other than that the bedroom or bathroom.
Whatever your day be happy.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
We have a lovely sunny day here in Wales today. Many areas people still working to clear the debris from the freak monsoon like storms we experienced.
I am late getting online as not been feeling very well so just a brief note just to let you know I am still around, feeling just a wee bit better but not up to parr so going to be kind to myself and take it easy.
Hope all is OK with everyone.

Hi everyone
Little Max having his afternoon nap so I have had time to read a little of mail and about to post around. The weather here in UK has turned quite cold for the time of year especially as we had experienced such beautifully sunny days last week. I said the garden could do with a drop of rain so that I didn't have to take the water-hose around but the storms we experienced quite unexpected the nearby park is still flooded, thankfully our back garden have cleared. I can see the mountains from my dining room window so the clouds are lifting.
Brendan's sister and Dad has gone off to London today, will stay overnight as she catches a flight to Germany for a few days then back to spend the rest of her holiday with us before Dad and her returns to New Zealand.
I did manage to spend a short time in the garden doing a little pruning of some spent flower heads, noticing the variety of bees which were around some so small and busy which reminds me, time goes so quickly so better get things posted before little Max wakes.
Have a great day All.
Blessings
Elaine.

Its been a glorious day here in Wales after the storms we experienced yesterday. I have just returned from having some precious time with family and friends we went to a local pub for a meal. Stephanie went on ahead to meet up with her school buddie, I toddled along little later only to do round of the lounge eating centre the bar and ladies room only not to be able to find them.
I went outside to ring Paul who was coming along to meet up, as I was told a poor reception for mobilers, outside was a hen party waiting to be picked upwho over heard my conversation and chirped in there is a beer garden outside which I had overlooked checking out, thankfully I found Steph and her friend there.
The dining area full but thankfully we were able to have a meal later as long as willing to wait which was ok.
A very pleasant afternoon for all.
Brendan Poppa and Kate went off with the little ones to Church then later on to Cardiff to see an exhibition of one of Brendans friends at the Bay and a meal. It is good for them to have mee time together whilst they are over here from NZ and Australia.
Time for bed for the little ones after a time in the swing chair but not for Nanna *(mee)* I don't do, leaving this for the younger generation.

Signing off in my blah for today.
Everything may not be rosie but we have to look on the brighter side of life in looking to where there seems is no light only darkness looms and just keep looking at that glimmer.
Whatever your day please encourage yourself spend time on whatever you can find good.
God bless your day everyone.
Elaine.

Hello Everyone,
It's not even a good evening from me this time but a Good night.
I will try to post up more but this will explain if I don't get round.
I got online this morning early in the hope to post around groups when Brendan and the family were away either down a cave or a mine somewhere out of the dreadful rain storms we are experiencing.
I was just about to write on notepad my thoughts, when Steph suggested we use the car, her and I have some girly time together.
Paul didn't have anything planned so off we went, dry but overcast at the time, when we got to the supermarket to browse around, many were in T/shirt and shorts when the heavens opened.
Thankfully we had Pauls golf umbrella, not that he plays golf but well covers two people.
We had thunder lightening and hailstone come down as we approached the store.
After a short while of browsing decided to have early lunch then off once again to do some serious retail therapy which wouldn't bust a hole in the budget. I managed to find a bargain pair of white linen petite size trews which fitted perfectly a bright orange cardigan cut to the waist which Steph thought needed a pair of sunglasses to view but I felt would look great together with a white or black top and some bold bling to set it off.
I did buy a food bargain which I said I wont food shop today, but was too good to pass up A Olive butter (I'm not mentioning brand name)going so cheap ) I have been told we can't say cheap lol it is reasonable haha.
Both items together of clothing I got cost me less than £20 so I was well pleased with my purchase mine was a size 12.
Steph is a careful shopper also and found 3 pretty items a silk paisley type shift dress in pastel shades of orange and navy she is usually a size 8 but in the cheaper store having to go one size bigger.
A Pair of lightweight Jeans type and a blue pattern top which could mix and match with other items at home.
By the time we got home Brendan his Sister and Poppa had already got back with the little ones deciding to return home a little earlier due to the bad weather.
Little ones excited to let us know of their experiences, little Max doing his Yeah while I was chatting to him and I was so surprised and blessed when he had a little lemon and lime sparkling spring drink I had poured him and said do you want some more he said "Yeah please" stringing the words together, he is not two until October so I was around saying hey "did you hear what He said" while Max was following me into the kitchen for another little top up into the plastic cup I had given him.
Well lots in between as you can guess.
Brendan run the bath for the little ones. Steph dressed and cuddled Ethan in her bedroom for a little time for them together, whilst Brendan brought down Max for Auntie Kate to dress him. Poppa busy sorting out the evening dinner a chinese take-away if my memory serves me well with Brendan, whilst Kate read a then Bedtime story to Ethan and Max and I on on the kiddies table reading two of his favourite books.
The drama came when we were doing animal noises to the pictures, Milo and Cai my dogs on their Mat happy to be in the company when I said Cats say meeow did a dash for the door barking to be let out thinking next door neighbours cats got into our spot of the garden, I must say at this point our neighbours and I do have an understanding their cats come to do their business in my little plot and my dogs do their jobs to chase them over the fence.
The cats always escape needless to say before the dogs get throught the back doorand would probably lick them to death if they ever caught up.
Well I may not have written in length for a while and who knows when next over the period family with me, but just to let you into a little of our day what is going on.
Oh! by the way we have flooding in my yard and the mop is indoors.
We are experiencing some very bad weather here in UK flash flood warnings.
I am so glad Paul had raised the storm drain last year and made so the rain drains away from the house although it is like a paddling pool out there right now.
I had noticed earlier I could see the mountain tops from the window so looks like passing our side of right now hopefully.

Whatever your weather or day. God is able to sustain us when we look to him.
Often I try to encourage others.
Things are not always as rosy as it seems in the written word.
We all have our problems but need to look to the future and whatever your storm......
This too will pass....

Love and blessings as always
Love
Elaine.

Hello my dear friends,
I have missed coming online to check how things are with all and when I do only able to post up a little.
We have been experiencing some beautiful weather here in Wales which is such a blessing with Brendan's family over here and being able to spend quite a lot of time outdoor activities with the children. The have gone mountain bike riding through a forest, thankfully the weather has continued to stay dry but it is said later today we may experience rain in parts of Wales although at present the sun is shining and not a great deal of cloud in the sky although cooler than have been.
The garden sure could do with some rain it was 27th May we had the last, and will save me taking the water-hose around.
We have the boiler men here again this time to complete the job.
Monday they had put in a new boiler for us, today connecting a remote themostat I believe they called it, sounds quite good to be able to take in any part of the house to regulate the heating.
I had began writing this to post up on notepad a lot earlier but a few distractions once again.
I have quite a lot of mail to wade through and will post up more later.
It has now become more overcast here since I began writing, so we may have rain later.
Whatever your day may you be blessed.
Love
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Many may be aware we have family over here from New Zealand and Australia, we have been experiencing some wonderful weather here in UK so naturally most of our time is spent outdoors, although further along in the week they say the weather is turning cooler.
Brendan's sister and Dad was quite surprised by our heatwave Dad had to go out and buy a few items to suit the weather, but Sister like us ladies, come well prepared bikini and light coat. Apparently it is just turning winter over in NZ and Aus so the weather cooler that end of the globe.
It is only a while ago I switched on the PC to take a peak and found I have 115 digest in my yahoo mailbox ..yikes, I've not even opened my hotmail account yet.
Everyone went out for a evening meal, also to meet up with other members of family there is what is termed as a beer garden so still sun hats needed and sun-screen.
I read some of my mail and decided to go through others when I am able, as it is Brendan and sister has arrived back with the little ones who are needing to get to bed. So a quick change and bedtime story as they had a very late night yesterday due to Brendans sister arrival.
I am happy to sit the little ones for them to rejoin the others.
Whist I was writing this out on notepad some arrived back and we been chatting now arranging supper and some more time out while the little ones are asleep, just making sure that I am OK also and not missing out on things which is so sweet and caring.

Your never far from my thoughts but I am sure you understand we have to make the most of this wonderful occasion.
I will get online to say Hi and some posting when I get these breaks while the others are meeting up elsewhere.
Where I see a prayer need I click to read and send up a flare prayer God knows and before we pray he answers.
I hope all are OK
God bless you all.
love and blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,

It's been two days almost since I have been able to click to come online. Such exciting stuff been happening here having Brendans Dad come over from New Zealand and for those who can appreciate it is such a long distance to us in UK and such a wonderful surprise to us all.
Kate Brendans Sister arrives tomorrow in UK she is arriving from Australia we are all so excited of how God is bringing us this wonderful family get together and nothing really planned no special celebration birthday type etc., It really has come at such a good time for us things are really hard with recession happening in UK besides in USA and other places. It is such an uplifiting and blessing to us here to have Brendans family able to come over.

I have been missing for a couple days, I have so enjoyed having Poppa over from New Zealand the grandkiddies just loving having him here and able to spend those precious moments with him. I have sat in the background as it were to allow Poppa to have his "mee time"with them but been on hand to step in to encourage and explain what is expected of them.
I was asked this morning did I want to go Church with them and later to picnic but I felt they should have their time alone and this I truly believe was correct and right although I would have loved to have tagged along, what a fantastic surrprise when my eldest daughter arrived some time later who travelled down from West Wales for a surprise visit. We were able to have some quality time together where this would not have been possible had the rest of the family been here. Although Before her departure enought time given so they could also have a blessed time to catch up, also say hello.
All in all been a fantastic few days which explains my absence.
By the Way Kate arrives tomorrow from Australia so again could mean a gap in my postings.
You are never far from my thoughts and wish I could be with you here, but know you would understand when I am missing periodically they are over here next three weeks.
So you will know if I am not being active.
Blessings

What I am up to today - Page 32 Empty Re: What I am up to today

Hi Everyone,
I have had two such amazing days which is hard to touch on to explain emotionally.
It was my birthday on 4th May and Paul came along with just a card that was great and fine by me, but apparently what he had so thoughfully sent for had not arrived he made no excuse as he knew me and it was not needed a thanks and kiss on cheek meant it all between us, I knew his financial position is not good and enough said and done. Paul had been saying that a parcel should arrive and was very late coming if it didn't today then he needed to try sort out. Well yesterday late afternoon a large lightweight parcel arrived, the reason for late deliver is the man sending his wife had gone into labour so he had been busy until now to send, Paul had got me a special massage seat knowing the many disabilities and aches I encounter in the hope that this would make life more comfortable for me, it also has a heat feature I was overwhelmed by his thoughfulness which brought tears to my eyes. A few years ago I lost the use of my arms, Paul had to dress and bathe me thankfully with several injections they got my arms working again, but this was just part of my diablement. I don't like to talk about me unless needful to be a help for others.
The Next blessings.

The day today here in Wales been glorious, not a cloudless sky, but I sat on my sunbed enjoying when the sun came out and took in the beauty of the different shapes of the clouds between the sun breaking through.

It made me to reflect of God's softness in those clouds in the heat of our lives which we may be going through, how he cushions those hard times, little Ethan had an innoculation his arm having a bad reaction swollen and red, I and Mum wanting to put a cool compress on to stop the hurting and him not wanting us to do so.
This made me to think of the hard times in our lives when we just want to manage, not allowing God to come in and put a cooling compress to our hurts or cushion those hard times. I can put my hand up many times for trying to manage situations without praying God help me! seems it is only when there is a downpour often that we reach out for help.
We are going through a particularly hard time in our family right now but I do see God in the situation, having to be wise to keep my hands off and be there in wisdom when needed to step in.

We had such an amazing encounter today Brendan's Dad arrived at our doorstep we were having a BBQ and not expecting any visitor can you imagine how wonderful, his Dad arrive from the other side of the globe New Zealand to UK and unexpected.
God is like that.
He will turn up so unexpectedly and bring treasures with him.
As Brendans Dad arrived at the door with bags of presents in hand from New Zealand , jokingly I said yeh where is mine, he probably do not understand my humour but straightways, brought mine into the garden for me.
Me Chief cook on how a BBQ should be run, in all the excitement sausage, burgers, and spare ribs etc., got somewhat chargrilled, oooops
my street cred not exactly down the drain but the dogs enjoyed from what we salvaged.
All in all a blessed couple of days.
Not everything turns out right always but there are rainbows after the rain.
Enjoy your day with all its sadness and seems maybe like today no blessings.
Look for them among the turmoil.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Steph gone off with the children, Paul taking her to B&Q's DIYwhich gives me a little time to get a good morning post out before Paul takes me to shop.
Thankfully the rain has stopped and hopefully the sun will be out later. Milo just came in from the garden tell tale petals from the Deutzia covering him, has obviously been underneath, with his black coat he looks like a snow storm had come over.
I had been pottering around the house and now they are back so Paul is waiting for me.
Back later to post around.
Have a great day.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
I found this tag in my photobucket and very appropriate for the weather we are experiencing today. Thankfully the weatherman says fine sunny days on the way.

Stef and the children have gone off to an indoor play area. The young lady who picked them up in her car is actually the daughter of a women who I grew up with when we lived in another part.
A little while ago I was at a supermarket shopping when I saw the young lady and thought how much she resembled my old friend but didn't ask, excuse me are you related to ...... At a much later date both Mother and daughter was at the same shop where Stef and I were, they were catching up on chats about their little ones when along came her Mum we hadn't seen each other in years and although we now live several miles away from where we grew up together, I thought what a pleasant coincidence that both our daughters had become friends.
No plans for the rest of the day other than do a few posts. Whatever your up to today I hope you have a great one.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Just the mundane things as such happening my end today.
Late getting here once again, yet a busy day and just to go along with my thoughts.
Stef went off to our local Castle early this morning with the little ones.
I may or not made mention before, I'm so proud and happy to be living in this area with such a huge history of ancient battles, we have had, close to my home a historic Castle which boasts a tower greater than that of the Leaning tower of Pisa you could google Caerphilly Castle to get a flavour of what I am talking about you could also google to find out more at Caerphilly County Council is another good google for what goes on in and around should you be in the area. I can bring you some pictures if you wish.

Here I will ramble and some members from MSN may have heard me talk of if,.. they have been at our group previously or looked in.
Our Welsh Heritage here in my location enjoy several occasions each year in rememberance of times past and bringing into our present days family outings of gatherings in rememberance with battle enactments, many stalls showing their ware of handcraft and a variety of foods. Some medieval cooking around campfire herbs for your health and healing from olde recipes etc.,
We host Bonfire Night at the Castle which brings thousands from surrounding valley to commemorate Guy Fawkes who in times past tried to blow up Parliament in London.
During some of the celebrations is the great Cheese roll we were once famous for our Caerphilly Cheese and among the rolling around of our town and around the vast Castle which is at the centre, is a Carnaval, but that is detracting from what is going on at present close to our community.
Today is the 80th Anniversary of Wales Urdd Gobaith Cymru Eisteddfod.

Urdd is a movement for a dynamic movement for children and young people. It organises a range of different activities across Wales. The Urdd was established in 1922
Celebrated in Cardiff City Bay bringing attention to our Welsh culture.
It gives the young people of Wales the chance to live vibrant lives through the medium of Welsh, learning at the same time to respect each other and people around the world.
The Urdd welcomes Welsh speakers and Welsh learners.
I must admit living in the outskirts of the Valleys I do not use the language and lost much over the years of this, although can speak a few phrases and understand some of the language, what has brought me to learn once again and recapture what I once learned at school is the fact that little Ethan is enrolled to enter Welsh School Mum is very good and Brendan who is from New Zealand only today related how Ethan spoke to him in Welsh and he really could not respond and need to find the time to learn more,....him and me both.
Well I thought I had not much to report but on reflection a lot going on which I need to brush up on at my home learning.
It may not be a lost language but we all speak the same lingo in love, and that is something we can all brush up on. Croeso I Gymru/ Welcome to Wales.

Whatever your day may your heart be filled with love for our fellow man.
Whether it is the begining of your day or the end.
We can make fresh starts.
God bless your time.
Love and blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
It's almost mid-day and seems I have done nothing, but of course I must have been doing something. Brendan the little ones and myself had a little time in the garden as the rain had stayed off, I thought it a good idea for them to have a play outside as very overcast here and such a contrast to yesterday where there was not a cloud in the sky.
Everyone gone out for a bike ride now giving me some time to get on the PC but just before they were leaving a few spots of rain, so a dash to get the washing off the line, the scatter cushions indoors and sunbeds under cover, it could be just a few spots but just in case it turns into a downpour as the forecast says light rain to heavy showers for Wales, it seems London may have a shower but temperatures around 26C and a sunny day. They have taken some raingear packed with them as a precaution hopefully they won't have to use, those few spots of rain seem to have passed over.
So glad that most parts have enjoyed fine weather for the Bank Holiday and hopefully the rest of the week will improve especially as the children have a week off from school.
Whatever your plans...
Have a good day everyone.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi All,
I was so tired yesterday, with all intensions of coming back to post, I came in quickly to say Hi around the forums intending to come back in the evening but after spending about 5 hours in the gardening pottering between breaks when I finally came indoors sat to watch a TV programme I fell asleep. I will have to double post in Forum my usual dailies.
I was doing Nana duty in the evening, the children were in bed and Stef and B went out for the evening with some of her olde school friends.
No idea what time they came in, but an advert woke me at around mid night so I took myself off to bed.

Today we have had a beautiful sunny warm day not a cloud in the sky, I got out my sunbed from the shed got on my bikini under my top and shorts a nice cool drink and my bible. As soon as I got settled, ring at the door bell Brendan had forgotten his sunglasses and the key to the front door, they were off to the local park which is just at the end of our drive a stone throw away as is said.
Before they left they donned on the childrens sun wet-suits with UV protection and some new shoes. Years ago they called them Jellies now no idea, but those things they can wear in the water. Unfortunately they have filled in the outdoor swimming pool no idea why, maybe as we do not have enough dry sunny weather here in UK I don't thinnk anyone had drown, or maybe again with regulations maybe not a lifeguard available, but we do have a water feature for the younger ones, a fountain spray sprouts up when getting close to the padded area which when stepped on makes it to work, very safe and fun.
Our park has some wonderful features we are blessed with a tennis court, bowling for those less wanting to exert themselves, of course our field for football or rugby and when playing not being done a great place to spread out and have a picnic. Of course also a fenced off area to practice footie. All surrounded with a fresh flowing fenced off stream for safety, although we also have a pond with wildlife and field area. And of course several play areas for the various ages.
A library and lovely avenue of trees planted and seating for those who prefer the cool.
There are probably more features which I have left out.
Well late for me but wanting to come along and wish those who are just begining their day have a wonderful time, for those who have spent their day my prayer is that you have had a blessed time.
Love and blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
A lovely sunny day here in Wales. The family gone off for the day to meet up with another family for a picnic in the park, the house so quiet without the little ones. Shorts and T shirt on in readiness I intend to get out in the garden, sit read some and potter.
I am so glad that the weather has turned out fine for the holiday weekend also its encouraging to help get these closed blooms to risk showing their faces, thankfully some of the shrubs have flowered well so the bees been busy especially with the Deutzia shrub which have done fantastically well this season after a heavy pruning last year it looks so graceful with its arching branches laden down with the weight of profuse flowering I'm not sure which variety it is as there are so many types.
It was a birthday present from my daughter about 10 years ago, I had taken a photo with my mobile phone I really need to learn how to put these snaps on the PC never seem to get the time always something else which comes up then goes completely out of my head until I talk of it. Well now is not the time as I want to get this posted and out to enjoy the sun.
Whatever your plans I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
It's afternoon already and seems however early I get up these days the hours just fly past. I have had a busy morning with phone calls and visitors then a reminder we have a holiday this weekend, although I did remember it is Assension Day today which is celebrated 40 days after Easter A lamb roast for us this evening.
I did spend time earlier on my PC searching through my documents to post up a message which I had written in the days when I posted in MSN Group Online Sunday Service Message and other special events. I am so glad that many of them I still have record of so that I am able to copy paste up in Our Group Forum.

I still have not found the time to try fix the problem I have in my yahoo mail, but thankfully am able to do some things to bring to groups, although taking me much more time than before to work around the problem.

Later I am to have Max so that Stef can pop into work for a few hours. I need to get some quick postings up before they arrive back from Mother's and Toddler's.
Whatever your plans for today I hope you have a blessed time.
Love and blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have not been around for a few days.
First to explain that I still need to sort out a PC problem where each time I try to open my yahoo mail, where I have several postings which I transfer here, and other Forums... it immediately close my mailbox.
I was trying to sort out but I was taken ill and only today feel well enough to come online to tackle anything.
I have not got round to try fix the problem which is not allowing me to open mail in yahoo, but I have by trial and error found on times I can open if I right click and read in new window, I then have to delete that which I have already used, hence it close me down and I have to log in again, I need to make note that which I have opened and tick each box to delete so that I am not closed down as often, as you can imagine frustrating process.
I am not looking forward to tackling the major problem, for now grateful of being able to do some on net using my new found method.
Hope everyone is doing OK
I pray you will have a good day.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
A very damp day in Wales. I made a quick trip to town yesterday had to sort with the bank to unblock my debit card. We are advised to change our pin numbers for security reasons then our passwords on the net, the mind boggles.
I forgot an important letter which had to be sent registered delivery so have to once again pay a visit to town, thankfully I don't have to ask Paul to take me as we do have a bus stop outside my door also is the same for me coming back, I don't have to carry anything or do much in the way of walking which is good.
I also need to phone to have boiler man come out the pressure has gone down to the red and overnight we had a small leak so need to get that sorted as occasionally we have had to put the heating on as it has gone chilly.
Stef has taken the little ones out for a walk even though it is raining better than being cooped up in the house.
I had my prayer time and a read of some mail then here to do a little post how things going my end.
Whatever your day have a great one.
love and blessings
Elaine.
