Hi Everyone
We have a beautiful Sunny Day here in Wales

I am hoping to take things easy today
and catch up on a few things which I have had to let slip
due to other matters taken up time in our circumstances.
Milo will have his little operation in 5 weeks time,
I need to make an appointment for our other dog Cai
unfortunately I couldn't do yesterday some hiccup
with they couldn't get into the file on pc she is
to be checked over as has trouble with her ears
since we adopted her a street dog a few years ago.

Our last day on MSN
I suppose all will go poof midnight
for us in UK.
I just went over to check MHM MSN Group
and find their New Home is just showing the header
so hopefully someone will come along to reply to the thread
where I ask are their Forums hidden until their grand opening.
Little point in posting lots in our Group today other than
a Farewell to MSN and reminder of our New Home.

Whatever your plans for today
Have a wonderful time,
looking forward to our settling in our New Home
and getting things sorted over here with

The help Forum (found at the bottom of our page)
for our Jessie to get her beautiful backgrounds up showing for us.
also need to make mention
that our Simon Mark and Margaret is pretty good
at sorting things.

Love

My Dear Online Friends
I haven't had much time spare to come along to post, but needed to come and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love prayers and support.
Bill's sister-in-law is now back from London so I was able to speak with her this morning, she will go along to the hospital to find out what medication given and any letter for the doctor to attend at Bill's home before going along to his home.
I believe I mentioned she is a nurse and looked after him when he came out of hospital last time before the doctor insisted he had to go back in.
It has been a hectic few days and God has been good.
Yesterday I was able to get hold of one of His friends to call down to see that he is OK, explaining all the situation, until I could get there.
I was able to speak to him on the phone when he arrived and Bills son had just got there also,
he put some new locks on the door so at least we now have a few spare keys, chop some firewood and get the house heated thankfully there was some teabags in the house
so warm drinks could be made.
I praise and thank God the way he undertook there was nothing we had missed taking in the food parcel, Bill ate a very small piece of home made cake I believe he kept that down. Which is very encouraging. God extended his life years ago we just pray he will this time.

Today I have a journey to the vets,
no other plans made but placed our day into Gods hands
we never know what our day entails.
I have lifted you in prayer that God will undertake for you in whatever is going on in your lives.
Hopefully we can continue in our new Home, with the love support and encouragement we have received in times past.

Thank you all once again.
Love Elaine.

Hi Everyone
I have just been over at another site where a manager had received a bashing
so posted on the thread in support and understanding.

Being a manager is not an easy job and one can get tired
and make a wrong decision this person is a good manager
and posted an apology on a statement made, to be absolutely
honest I believe I could well have said the same.

In our new home you may notice at the bottom Links
and the wording is:
We will only exchange links with those we are in agreement with.

If a site Admin had treated you badly and ignored
your complaint, which incidentally was more of
a Copywrite Law complaint where their work had been
stolen and taken as their own. I wouldn't want to support
that said site.
That is my bit of rambling.

Paul and I went to see Bill in hospital yesterday evening He is still very poorly
much the same as before, breathless and still suffering sickness and unable to eat.
I thank God he is still holding on, we are praying for his recovery.
As usual we have a busy diary with some doctor appointments
to check up on me hopefully,
the meds are doing the job, and will soon be taken off them
I feel OK but because of the family history they are keeping eye on me.
So Wed for one of the MOT lol and Monday the fast and bloods done.

Taking Milo to the vets on Friday to be checked over
to see if OK for general anthestic, he is loveable
well behaved but when Fran comes down with her dogs,
bit boisterous and will not take no for answer they don't want to play.
So maybe this will calm him some. We haven't a date for his op as yet.
Have to go to the shops at some point today
take some bags to the Charity shop and get some dog chews
which they didn't have in store we visited yesterday.
Thats about it my plans for today.

Prayers gone up for everyone.

Have a blessed day
Love .

Hi Everyone
another lovely sunny mild day here in Wales.
I have made a few important phone calls
there are more need sorting but I took a little bit
of meee time to check my mail, so glad I did
as the first thing I opened was a FWD from Bubbles
which put a smile on my face. it was short
and didn't take much time.
I have a confession to make, in the past I was so busy
used to think oh! I wish they wouldn't send me these
I just do not have the time, well, some of the FWD's
would be something I already knew about such as a Scam
for example, others would be the type you will have
bad luck if you don't pass this on to X number of people.
Lately although been busy,I have been blessed with funny
and also encouraging Fwds which reminds me of the verse

Ecclesiastes 3 A time appointed for eveything.
4 A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance

You may be disabled and unable to dance,
but you can in your heart.

Have a wonderful day
love

A ps to earlier post. What a day
Travelling mercies yes!
They broke down on the motor way returning to Wales.
Praise God it could have happened on her way to the airport to pick B's Mum up from the airport.
Thankfully they do have RAC cover but they said to be towed home would be days, I have not spoken to anyone other than Brendan with the arrangements for Paul to take Ethan back home..
How awesome is God only 2 days ago they had a new child car seat and the old one at our house.
No doubt Steph had explained the situation that there was baby with them, so a Hire car was arranged as it was another 2 hours before a train from Reading. I am unsure how much cover they have but they were told it would cost £300 to tow the car back to Wales.
Your prayers appreciated please as they are experiencing a struggle as it is with the financial crunch and only just keeping their head above water in paying their mortgage, at this moment they still have not arrived home a long day leaving at 10am with a little one it is now 9pm
My update to explain a little how I have not had time to come along online. I will come back later but in much need of a respite, its been a busy day with much phone calls praise God for mobile phones aswell.
Elaine.

Hi Everyone
Damp and dreary in my part of Wales today.
But we have sun shining in our hearts.
Steph has set off for London with Max
to pick up Grandma at the airport who is arriving
today from New Zealand.
I am so glad that it isn't snowing

I pray for travelling mercies for them all
and a blessed memorable time.
Brendan is at an important business conference
so Paul and I will pick up Ethan from school
and he will be with us at home until Dad arrives.

I have had a quiet time this morning other than one
phone call so able to get on with the backlong of
things to do and spent some time reading mail,
Bubbles had sent me quite a bit which I enjoyed.
I will just make a call to find out
how Bill is doing in hospital, then need to get on
with other things get the postings done then a bit
of tidying up.

Prayers gone up for all,
our Lyn who is moving today, may things go smoothly for her
no doubt she won't have time to get withdrawel symptoms
from not having the net as she will be quite busy in her
new home and enjoying her wet room

Love to Everyone

I am late getting here norty but I have been concentrating on the msn groups postings.
I have had a reletively easy day, it did start of a bit hectic with fone calls mostly due to Bill being taken into hospital and me getting around some to let them know.

I Just needed to take some time out from posting the usual daily stuff and reply to a few other threads elsewhere In a nutshell; it was remmebering how those must have been 4 friends I think who let down the stretcher to Jesus.
My thoughts were that we have to be brought down.......nthing of ourselves to receive healing........ and how we need one another to be brought to God in supplication and prayer
what I confessed is saying Oh Lord forgive me my unbelief and come to him with my mustard seed Hope.

Hi Everyone,
It has been a long day for me I have only just got off the phone yet again relaying messages to the family, the doctor has said Bill has to go back into hospital as yet we don't know which one will have a bed available.
Besides the other things which have happened through the day which began with me having Max early morning as Stef had to go along to hospital for X-ray and bloods done, just on her way there her neighbour's car wouldn't start so she taxied her to work, then she received a call from her Dad who needed someone to drive him on some errands, he had in January another operation and lost the use of his arm so cannot drive, she had to head over to his place afterwards to help out with Him, he had major surgery a year ago also for cancer you may remember and this was another.
Besides the numerous calls from Steph to let me know what is going on me doing calls to let everyone else know, plus trying to keep a toddler amused and making calls and receiving with regard to our car tyres problem.
God is good.
Stef got home trying to catch up, put the bath to run for the children while doing other things to get food ready for dinner and forgot completely run the tap for something then remembered oh the bath which literally just started about to trickle onto the floor, cooking going on and just a wet sleeve to pull out the plug, How great is our God like Steph said she could have either had a mopping up job to cap it all or even worse slipped on the bathroom floor, knocked herself out, with children and cooking going on and at least an hour before hubby arrives home. Well that is what could have been.
My bit of news for today condensed.
Love Elaine.
A p.s. brought this over from MSN posted a little earlier just had a phone call Bill is placed in a local hospital thankfully as this is a great help.

Hi Everyone

We have a beautiful sunny day here in our part of Wales
I caught up with a few friends and family online
and was able to write a lengthy email which took a while
as I had to take breaks for various reasons.
Margaret updated me on the family my cousin's wife
still waiting on to know if the cancer has returned with Al,
and the hope of a home for her daughter and 3 children
who became homeless lately due to a divorce pending.

I had quite a busy time yesterday, a friend who has
a garage said come along and we will see what can be
done, KwikFix had put our tyres on with a machine
we are unable to get them off to be replaced and they are not
taking responsibility, unfortunately the friend was
unable to get them off but hopefully will loosen
by a bit of travel then try again.
I went along with some food in the hope to tempt Bill
to eat, he is so stubborn in signing himself out of hospital
a nurse is attending him as he is too ill to visit surgery
for the continued blood tests.
I spoke with his Brother who says everyone agree
he should be in hospital on a drip and oxygen
asBill is unable to keep food down. We are praying the
med for sickness will quickly kick in.
We know only half his heart is working and that part muscle weak
God is good in extending his hand and we are still praying for a miracle.
Your prayers appreciated please for these.

I have to make a few phone calls
take a little break and come back to post.

My prayers gone up for all, remembering also the many members
who we have not seen for quite a long while.
love Elaine.

Hi Everyone
Quite late getting here as have had a busy day cooking I did get up early waiting for TV technician as my digibox have not been able to switch on for days.
This morning
I switched on the little radio I bought at Woolworths closing down sale
as I am missing my TV the reception is not great I was pleased when
I found a Service with a short message but I can't honestly say the music
was to my taste I was unable to make out the words.
I had to say sorry to God for my bad thoughts and said
I am sure you are enjoying it, although it does say
make a joyful noise to the Lord and this sounds so gloomy.
I went over to my hotmail where I get Haven of Refuge
the music may not be to your taste, but the words precious.

Mrs P's Inspirational Page
http://www.mrspshavenofrefuge.org/the_man_that_walks_on_water/
A friend of mine Bill who is my ex husband of 30 odd years ago,
is very ill only one part of his heart is working and that muscle is very weak, he is being looked after by his brother and wife,
he can't stand the smell of cooking and sick when he try to eat, so I thought if there was something he fancied we have some meals here prepared for him should they ring to let me know. My daughter and his came to visit today, she lives quite a distance away and works so it is quite difficult to fit visits in.
God is good as the snow have cleared although they say blizzard on the way.
Keep safe and warm
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone
We have a lovely sunny day here in Wales
they did say we would have more snow, maybe it will happen later.
I hope the roads stay clear as I am expecting a Sky repair man tomorrow
the red switch on the digi box will not turn green since Wednesday.
I don't watch a lot of TV but have missed
2 of the soaps I watch and most of all the news and God channels,
hopefully he will get this fixed tomorrow.
I was sitting for the grandchildren last night
as Mum and Dad was invited to dinner with the Pastor
of the new church they are attending which is closer to home,
what a lovely gesture, apparently this is a regular thing with the Pastor
and the members of church.
It was good I went down the house with them early
so I could spend some time with Max before he went off to bed.
Ethan and I cuddled up on the settee
I read him a story then it was time for bed and prayer.
After praying he said Nan will you sing me a song,
when I had finished and kiss him good night
bless him he asked Nan will you teach Mum and Dad that song.
It is obvious that he understood the miracle in the song and not my singing.
Prayers have been sent up for all
I hope everyone is OK
that is my bit of news for today.

Love Elaine.

Good Afternoon Everyone

I have been having a bit of a tidy up
before I came on the puter today,
it has now got me in the mood to do some sorting of
old paperwork, Paul has one of those shredders
so no doubt that will take up some time and
come in useful for Ethan's rabbit's bedding maybe.
Both the grandchildren will be along today
so I will probably not have much time to get things done before they arrive.
As Max is unable to go to daycare because of his head getting cracked and
Ethan is off school nursery with a caugh and cold.
Brendan have been able to take some time off from
work to look after them and called me earlier to
say they will visit sometime today.
The snow is clearing here but it is said more
on the way, thankfully I have no need
at present to go out.

My bit of news for now.
Prayers gone up for all.
love
Elaine.

Hi Everyone
Little late getting here.
I was out early this morning to get more provisions in,
as although just a sprinkle right now and lots on the ground, they say Warning more on it's way.
20 yrs ago I had to queue for Bread and no way want to do that again,
although when I was telling Paul he said I wouldn't let you do that I would, bless him.
The roads were not too bad but Paul wont be taking the car out for the rest of day
unless absolutely necessary and weather permitting.

Bill is at present with his brother and sister in law being a nurse can keep a good eye on him. He is on Warfarin not sure if that is causing him much sickness and unable to keep things down, they were giving him meds in the hospital for it but not sure if he has now, no doubt that is getting sorted also.

Not sure if Lyn well enough to be looking in here and hope not being too busy packing to look after yourself,
but making mention that your in my prayers as is other members.

Hope all is OK with you Jessie, I did notice you over at our new site,
good to see it being used. Our Zerich been busy also, besides our Jo sharing her beautiful pictures.
I haven't seen our Bertie for a while and did mail him hope he is OK please keep him in our prayers.
Many of our regular posters not been seen for a while
I do care and miss all.

I had a phone call yesterday evening our baby Max ended up in A&E he split his head open stood up in his chair at the dinner table and pushed it back and fell cracked his forehead split it,
Steph said: was so much blood aparently he is OK they glued him up but it seem he will have a scar.
Things happen so quickly before our eyes with the little ones, no one was able to break his fall.

Prayers go up for all
Blessings

Hi Everyone
We didn't have snow through the night and it is clearing a little but! more on the way. The worst for Britain in 20yrs. Shocked
Bill is still very ill, stubborn man signed himself out of hospital
sister-in-law is taking him to and fro for blood tests and
he would not stay with anyone, wanted to go to his own home
as you can imagine a worry for all with this bad weather.
He is unable to keep food down and still very breathless
and tired, we don't even know if he is keeping up taking
the Warfarin, sisterinlaw was in nursing so she is the best to be of help. Your prayers appreciated for him please, he is not a Christian but surrounded by prayer let us hope that he will let Jesus in.
I spent quite a bit on mee time yesterday as I had a backlog of pictures I wanted to sort in my Photobucket.
Hopefully before MSN pull the plugs on our old group I will get to bring over things which I feel useful.
I have almost completed copying the Testimonies over which I felt a priority as much encouragements.

I have spent much time this morning trying to sort the settings
on a group where I am member as it would not let me control
all the emails I was getting. Each time I clicked to adjust for weeks
said error and working on the site, well this morning I deleted my membership
and re-applied I then was able to click a box saying no emails
so I will visit them on the net when I get the time as I get so much to sift through.
I am having Brendan and the grandchildren over lunchtime
so will have to do a bit of clearing away 'cos of the little rascal
Max who is just 14 months and makes a bee line for my PC.
We got a toy box but do they go for that No!
Ethan likes to pull out the small stepladder
get hose from the vac and play fireman.
I will get out some paper and pencils for colouring aswell.

It has been great to see more posting in our New Home
I thank you all.
21st February MSN will close all groups.

A Blessed day all
stay warm.

Hi All.

Well we have only had a flurry of snow in my part of Wales
but looking at the news this morning many parts of UK
a huge fall of snow which they say Buses cancelled and many
trains either delayed or taken off.
The heavy snow will hit our part later this evening and following
next few days.
I have put up on trees my fatball&seeds for the birds
and made sure the ice been broken that they also have a drink.
I also have a place where the larger birds can feed out of
my dogs reach cos the last strip of fat I put up he jumped and got.
I am chatting with our Wayne at the moment also writing here
so will end with.
I have prayed for you.
God bless your day everyone.

love Elaine.

Hi Everyone
There has been a very cold wind blowing here in Wales
and snow on its way they say,we did have a little flurry happen this evening but it seems to have stopped now, maybe we will wake up to winter white.
I am pleased to say I hung some washing on the line,
it is so good to be able to have them dry outside
I love the smell, we take so much for granted and not
notice often, I find pleasure in these small things.
I had spent some time in prayer with our dear brother Rod
this morning, it's been a long while since we have had
time to be together as we in the past were prayer
partner's but things cropped up in both our lives which prevented us having this time.
Rod is in quite a lot of pain right now
so I will post up in seperate thread for him.

Hi Everyone

It's been one of those days where you don't seem to have got much done

Posted a bit around elsewhere.
Now to get up to date here. It has blessed me to see
that June aka curlybosvert been around posting also
our Lyn, Inapickle and although lastly but no means least our
dear Jessie showing her talents of html on MSN
let us hope we can find a way that these can be posted
in our New Home.
I have discovered we can Private Message one another there

Hi Everyone
I had an early night also got up early
I been spending time searching for a skeleton mouse in my photobucket
which our Wayne had sent me when I was have problems sometime back for a laugh,
one of the assistants over at Managers Helping Managers group
wanted me to send to him.
I managed to find another on the net
although not the one which our Wayne sent me.

We were saying groups like a ghost town and I feel like a Echo in mine,
PhilB said his like a skeleton factory no one posted in about 2 months
so I went on to say how I had problems with my mouse
and Wayne had sent me the funny skeleton mouse
so have now posted one over there.
MHM are still somewhat active and we are having a laugh together.
I do hope when all move over to our new home
we can continue to enjoy the get togethers we been used to.

Have a blessed day

My prayers gone up for you all

love Elaine.

"God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control."
2 Timothy 1:7 (NCV)

Hi Everyone
Many of us are facing Giants in our lives and the above scripture
reminds us of our standing.
David the young shepherd boy and his confidence in God slew the Philistine.
It isn't a sling and stone we have to use but allowing God to work through our lives
and get the same result.
I was replying to an email earlier and my thoughts were it is love and self control
which wins the battle, I was blessed when I read the scripture which said the same
it is not always easy but little by little the self control
is more of God living in and through us.

I haven't made any plans but placed my day in God's hands
life is a lot easier than trying to wade through things in our own strength.
I pray whatever your day unfolds that God will be your guide and help.

It is said we are to have another very cold snap next week
so hopefully we will prepare and get the provisions in needed,
wrap up warm turn the heating down just a little to help us with
the heating bills.
Love
Elaine.

After a very busy day yesterday you would have thought I would go to bed early instead I played games until early hours of the morning 1.30am actually Shocked
It is important for you to get your mee time don't you agree? Basketball
I wasn't up before the birds but managed to have a good nights rest and woke around 8am
It's been a good morning where I have managed to catch up on postings also a little chat with our Brother Petri who is waiting on God to go into ministry you can find more about him on Testimony Board which I have placed a little and link a few moments ago.
I also managed to do a little posting in another group which I have joined, we need to encourage one another. Our dear Jan member at New Home posted there and I wanted to reply.
Bill didn't seem any better when I visited last night and is saying he don't want to be in hospital I just hope he doesn't do anything silly and sign himself out.
He is still very breathless and on heart machine, he is such a stubborn man, and at the same time a sweetie.
I do miss him calling in for his cuppa in the morning and our chat.
I have said if he does sign himself out he is welcome to stay at my place, Paul is happy to give him his bed and sleep on the settee, he has other offers I would just like to look after him and make sure he get some wholesome food inside him, as they said he is malnurished. 😢
With so much that has been going on here I forgot to ask Lyn when she will be moving, Thank you Lord for answer to prayer
for this much needed move for her.
I know our Jessie also have thoughts on moving so all placed in Gods hands.

A God blessed day everyone.

What I am up to today - Page 36 Empty Re: What I am up to today

Post  Admin Tue 27 Jan 2009, 12:36 pm

I didn't get the time or energy to post up much yesterday things were rather hectic.
I am so glad that I took much time out on Sunday relaxing having extra time with God with worship music and quality time with Him.
Truly this was strength for the multiple things which went on yesterday.
I spent many hours telephoning others and ringing back with reports on what was happening with Bill to family and friends.
Believe me that alone was very tiring.
Our car had a puncture, Paul was unable to remove the nut to replace with spare its a fast puncture so had to continually pump up, we still need to get this sorted.
I had a quick shop to take things along to the hospital for Bill,
that was a somewhat wasted journey as he made me take everything back home, the juice, grapes, sweeties etc.
Bill is very breathless and poorly on heart monitor, the medication or illness not sure which he said " he don't want to eat everything taste yuk"
After we left Paul had a Doctors appointment so went straight to that, I waited in the car for an hour it was so cold, I couldn't get out as the person who parked next to us was so close I was unable to open the door to get out. I txt Paul on his mobile in the hope it was switched on I eventually was able to get out of the car and be in the warmth of the waiting room at surgery, I suggested Paul go up and ask had they forgotten about him as many had gone in and come out after he had gone in. Although he had an appointment and arrived on time there was no notice to say report at reception Rolling Eyes It is a new surgery with a different system. Shocked
Thankfully they got him to see the doctor within the next 10 mins so we managed to get to the chemist before closing.

Back home and once again the telethon...
Too late for the Garage so that is on the agenda today to try find someone who has a tool to remove the wheel nut as Kwik Fix who Paul went to originally was unable to sort.
I had a phone call this morning to say one of the family members are going along to visit Bill I know he is not feeling well enough to talk so I will check to see if anyone else going this evening he don't like crowds and besides it is not good for those who are unwell.
I have to make appointment for blood tests and a few other things for myself but will wait a day or two, to take some time out for myself.
I have had a relaxing morning and intend to have much mee time today.
I pray your day will be blessed.

Good morning Everyone

A rather hectic morning,
catching up on the phone and making some
arrangements and plans for the day, Bill my dear
friend taken into hospital last night so it is my
hope to go visit him, his heart is causing problems
I did make mention in yesterdays post over at MSN but didn't have the time to post here.
I have also been busy writing a long overdue
Happy New year mail and bringing up to speed
Brendan's family in New Zealand
who will be visiting us in Wales February 13th
so I am looking forward to that.

I didn't get round to taking over to our new site
material from msn which I was hoping yesterday,
and it is not on the agenda for today, hopefully
before 21st February when msn pulls the plugs
things needful will get done all placed in God's hands,
hopefully in time others will copy over their Testimonies
or whatever they would like to see placed in our new home here.

Have a blessed day all
my thoughts and prayers with you.
