A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Failures are the adventures on the road to success.

BREASTPIECE OF DECISION  (Part 2 – Conclusion)
"You shall make a Breastpiece of Decision (Judgment), worked into a design; make it in the style of the ephod; make it of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen.  The stones shall correspond in number to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve, corresponding to their names.  They shall be engraved like seals, each with its name, for the twelve tribes.  Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel on the Breastpiece of Decision over his heart, when he enters the Sanctuary, for remembrance before the LORD at all times." [Exodus (Shemot) 28. 15, 21, 29 Tanakh, Torah]

Different and various-colored stones were on the Breastpiece with the names of Israel according to their tribes.  Here we see unity combined with diversity.  Each name had its own particular stone.  Each stone had its own peculiar colour, glory, and beauty.  The redeemed of the MESSIAH Y’SHUA all are set within "the body" — each one having his own particular beauty and function, yet each one reflecting some ministry of the LORD JESUS.  The names were engraved on the stones in the same arrangement as that of the Camps of Israel around the Tabernacle and the order of the march through the wilderness…according to their tribes.  The names engraved on them were associated with that particular stone as though descriptive of that tribe.  Being engraved tells us of permanency and faithfulness of our LOVING GOD to all of HIS promises involving each tribe.

The first gem was Sardis.  Its colour is red and engraved on it was the tribal name "Judah" which means "praise of YEHOWAH."  ALMIGHTY GOD always puts praise first.  Y’SHUA partook of flesh and blood (color red) by becoming a MAN.  HE came from the tribe of Judah, the personified PRAISE OF GOD.  The redeemed of the LORD, first of all come to GOD with praise because they are born of HIM WHO is from the Tribe of Judah.  Judah's camp was located on the East side of the Tabernacle, near to the Gate of the Court.  The East is where the sun rose toward which the Tabernacle faced.  The redeemed of the LORD enter the GATE into salvation's court with praise to HIM WHO is "the SUN WHO rises with healing in HIS wings." [Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The last stone on the Breastpiece was jasper and on it the name "Naphtali" written which means "wrestling." {This wrestling was for certain rest and victory.}  The story in this name, as it is associated with the stone in which it is engraved, is likened to MESSIAH in HIS wrestling's on the earth to destroy the work of the enemy for the rest and victory promised to HIS people.  It tells of the children of GOD WHO wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness, the wickedness of the Devil, and who have overcome him in the glorious and mighty "NAME OF JESUS."

It is striking to notice that the appearance of the MOST HIGH in Revelation 4:3 is likened to the first and last stones of the Breastpiece of Judgment, in reverse.  Since names are to be engraved on each stone telling of permanency as well as describing "the precious gem of Heaven and HIS people."  This reversed order of the gems, as John saw them, present another glorious truth:  "NAPHTALI (engraved on jasper)" — we have WREST led and have the victory because of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  "Judah (on Sardis)" — we are entered into REST...home at last to PRAISE HIM forevermore!

On Aaron's garments, represented in the stones, we see a double function of the redeemed people as they served in the priesthood; theirs was a shoulder as well as a heart ministry.  The shoulder, which is the place of strength, courage and leadership is open. . . public.   The breast, being over the heart, signifies love and affection and is secret. . . private.   This was how Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST served, and how believer-priests should function today. . . with a Heart & Shoulder Ministry.

The office of the High Priest called for compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of "THE WAY." [Hebrews 5. 1 - 6, 10]  The fulfillment of this was in the BELOVED REDEEMER, the LORD Y’SHUA WHO was "moved with compassion" on innumerable times in HIS earthly ministry.  The PERFECT ONE is continuing this incredible compassion through HIS sons, believer-priests, in the NEW COVENANT who minister with HIM in the priest's office.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Rejoice and honor the wonders of the ALMIGHTY ONE and HIS HOLY WORD. Remember, HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Let the honor of your disciple be as dear to you as your own; and the honor of your associate be like the fear of your MASTER; and the fear of your MASTER like the fear of Heaven.

PIERCED FOR ME
"And I will fill the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem with the SPIRIT of grace and of compassion; and they shall look upon ME WHOM they have pierced, and they shall mourn BECAUSE of HIM as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for HIM as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Jewish scholars have pondered the meaning and interpretation of this verse for centuries, and there have been many varied interpretations.  Since they cannot allow admission that they are the ones who pierced YEHOWAH, the TRUE & LIVING GOD, some have applied it to the nation of Israel, with its persecutions in mind.  But, to resolve the issue the question must be answered — Who is this "WHO" that has been pierced?

Interestingly enough, the Hebrew word 'atta translated "whom" is simply the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet, "Aleph" and "Taf" —  which denotes completeness and surpassing excellency.

The prominent name for CREATOR GOD in HOLY SCRIPTURE, "YEHOWAH" — conveys a similar thought, although difficult to translate.  Obviously, the name "YEHOWAH" communicates the all-inclusive, far-reaching, ever self-existing nature of the only ALMIGHTY GOD OMNIPOTENT, among other things.  Nevertheless HE is so much more wonderful then word can ever describe.

These two thoughts come together when you see a similar quote in the Book of Revelation — "Behold, HE is coming with clouds, and every eye will see HIM, and they also who pierced HIM.  And all the tribes of the earth will mourn BECAUSE of HIM.  Even so, Amen.  I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the END — says the LORD WHO is and WHO was and WHO is to come, the ALMIGHTY." [Revelation 1. 7 - 8]

It is as if YEHOWAH HIMSELF is asking the question:  Do you doubt WHOM it is you pierced?  I am the ALEPH-TAF, the ALPHA-OMEGA, YEHOWAH, the ALMIGHTY ONE, the BEGINNING and the ENDING of all things.  "I AM, the LORD, the FIRST, and will be the LAST as well, I AM HE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 41. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  O the limitless love of GOD, how rich and measureless!!!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
I greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul exults in my GOD. For HE clothed me with garments of salvation, wrapped me in a robe of righteousness; thus shouts of victory and praise spring forth in HIS PRESENCE.  I love YOU, LORD and I lift my voice to worship YOU.  MOST HOLY LORD, continue to impart YOUR blessing upon us.  Teach us to seek YOU evermore within the sanctuary of our souls, within the tabernacle of YOUR world, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers.  Please LORD, give us the kindness to hear with compassion, to offer support, loving comfort, and care; give us the courage to do what is needed, the wisdom to choose what is right and most fair; give us the vision to see what is possible; give us the faith that will help pave the way for a present that’s hopeful, a future that’s peaceful — give us the heart to bring joy to each day.
The grace of our LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you always.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

BREASTPIECE OF DECISION   (Part 1 of 2)
"You shall make a Breastpiece of Decision (Judgment), worked into a design; make it in the style of the ephod; make it of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen.

Aaron wore the names of the Israelites upon his BREAST as he went into the presence of the ALMIGHTY ONE.  MESSIAH Y’SHUA, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST, bears our names on HIS HEART continually before HIS FATHER. [Hebrews 7. 25; 8. 3-4]

The precious stones in the Breastpiece of the High Priest (Hebrew: choshen — priestly breastplate) are the same as those spoken of by John in the Revelation on Patmos regarding the wall gates of the Heavenly City. [Revelation 21. 19]  As the names of the Twelve Tribes of Israel were engraved on the stones in the Priest's garments, so the names of the Twelve Apostles are inscribed on the foundation wall gems of the New Jerusalem.  The heavens and the earth are expressions of the ETERNAL HOLY GOD, HIS attributes and power.  Out of the dust of the earth (the fine earth, ready to be cultivated), CREATOR GOD formed man.  And, out of the earth, from the same materials which make up the earth, also come the stones which shine forth in the garments of Aaron and in the Holy New Jerusalem!   They reflect the glory, power and nature of OMNIPOTENT GOD HIMSELF.

Most of the stones listed in the "glory garments" of Aaron and in the New Jerusalem are of a very hard substance, colorful and glittering in appearance.  They are common earth particles cut and polished, precious, brilliant, beautiful, transparent and without flaw.  The LORD Y’SHUA is THE STONE (Hebrew: Pinnah) "hewn from the mountain, not by hands." [Daniel (Danyel) 2. 45 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  HE came from the earth. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 53. 2 — "a ROOT out of a dry ground."]  Y’SHUA came from ALMIGHTY GOD; HE was cut out of the mountain and set in HIS honored place; HE is the TRIED STONE [Isaiah/Yeshayah 28. 16], the CHOSEN, ELECT and PRECIOUS STONE. [1 Peter 2. 4, 6]  CHRIST JESUS is "the STONE with the Seven Eyes" [Zechariah/Zecharyah 3. 9 w/4. 10; Revelation 5. 6], the PERFECT, ALL-SEEING, ALL-KNOWING GOD.

In the High Priest's Breastpiece, the Sardis gem is mentioned first and in order; and the jasper, last.  But, in Revelation 4:3 where GOD'S GLORIOUS SHEKINAH APPEARANCE is described, this order is reversed.  The first and last of anything includes all in between.  Therefore, these two stones incorporate all the precious gems of the New Jerusalem in describing our WONDERFUL GOD & SAVIOR, as well as describing HIS people who have been given all things in Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH!

The precious stones of the "glory garments" and in the New Jerusalem represent the LORD Y’SHUA OF NAZARETH in every phase of HIS life, power, and ministry.  And they are applicable to each believer who are partakers of the DIVINE nature.  The stones were set into the Breastpiece, each one surrounded by gold. [Exodus/Shemot 28. 20]   These represent the redeemed children of GOD filled with the same wisdom from above and endued with HIS power and glory.  We are identified with the LORD Y’SHUA . . . HE is the LIVING STONE, we are living stones.  MESSIAH is the PRECIOUS STONE, we are precious stones.  The SON OF MAN is the REJECTED STONE, we are rejected stones.  The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the CHOSEN, ELECT STONE; we are chosen stones, the elect of our HOLY, AWESOME, WONDERFUL ETERNAL LORD GOD!

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
May the HOLY ONE OF JACOB ever be praised for HIS mercy and loving kindness to us as we await to be in HIS PRESENCE in the Promised Land.
Keep watching and praying.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Reality can never be legislated out of existence.  Segregation is a reality and one must be able to distinguish between reality and illusionary conditioned existence that is called "education."

THIS LAND IS MINE
"The land must not be sold beyond reclaim, for the LAND IS MINE; you are but strangers resident with ME." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 25. 23 Tanakh, Torah]  "Nevermore shall you be called "Azubah (forsaken)" nor shall your land be called "Shemamah (desolate)"; but you shall be called "Hephzibah (I delight in Her...referring to Jerusalem)", and your LAND "Beulah (married — espoused)"; for the LORD takes delight in you, and your LAND shall be espoused." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 62. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Many may claim that the Church is the Bride of CHRIST.  However, HOLY SCRIPTURE (both OLD & NEW COVENANTS) says that the EVERLASTING KING OF GLORY is espoused to the LAND.  From the book of Genesis/Bereshith in the OLD COVENANT to Revelation in the NEW, the HOLY ONE declares that HE desires to "be our GOD."

In both the OLD & NEW COVENANTS, believers in the GOD OF ABRAHAM are called "HIS body, HIS people, HIS servants, HIS friends, called ones, over-comers, and HIS sheep" — but never HIS bride.  "Obey MY VOICE, and I will be your GOD, and you shall be MY people." [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 7. 23 — also Exodus/Shemot 6. 7; Leviticus/Vayikra 26. 12; 1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 15. 30; Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 1; 62. 5; Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 36. 28; Joel/Yoel 2. 27; Hosea 1. 9 ...just to mention a few.]

In the OLD COVENANT, Hosea is a living example of a prophet and his wife — showing the relationship of the LIVING GOD'S views between HIMSELF and HIS people.

In the NEW COVENANT, the LORD JESUS said — "Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them?" [Matthew 9. 14 - 15; Mark 2. 18 - 20; Luke 5. 33 - 35]  "HE WHO has the bride is the bridegroom; but the FRIEND of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of MINE is fulfilled." [John 3. 29]

At a Jewish wedding, the guests not only receive wedding garments [see Judges/Shofetim 14. 12 — Samson posed a riddle during the wedding feast], but are also the ones who are registered in a book.  "They shall walk with ME in white, for they are worthy.  The over-comers will be clothed in white garments and their names will not be blotted out of the BOOK OF LIFE." [Revelation 3. 4 - 5, 18]  "Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." [Revelation 16. 15]  The Friends, not the Bride, are the ones "invited" — those whose names are written in "LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE."

The proper wedding garments must be on the Guests.  "For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice, HE has invited HIS guests to purify themselves...And, on the Day of the LORD'S Sacrifice I will punish the officials and the king's sons, and all who don a foreign vestment." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 1. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  The HOLY SPIRIT sent out the invitations to the guests for the wedding.  But, they made light of it becoming unworthy.  Then the servants went to the highways to gather whoever they could to fill the wedding hall with guests. [Matthew 22. 1 - 14]

In the parable of the Ten Virgins [Matthew 25. 1 - 13], the virgins were invited guests.   Five of them were not ready to attend the wedding, having no oil (commitment, loyalty, promise, faithfulness).  Those who were committed, went WITH the BRIDEGROOM to the wedding; not as the Bride but, as "invited guests."

The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA said, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.  You are MY friends if you do whatever I command you." [John 15, 13 - 14]  However, the LORD JESUS OF NAZARETH died for us while we were HIS enemies.

Then who is the Bride?  "SHE" is wonderfully described in the Book of Revelation where an angel said, "Come! I will show you the LAMB'S BRIDE, the LAMB'S WIFE...and showed me the Great City, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from GOD." [Revelation 21. 9 - 27]  "And the SPIRIT and the BRIDE say, "COME!!"...whoever desires come! — let him take the Water of Life freely." [Revelation 22. 17]

We should be content to be HIS people, and greatly rejoice that HE is our GOD.  How glorious!  How marvelous…belonging to HIM, the KING OF ALL AGES!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath! Sabbath of Balak – “Balak [means devastator, waxed old, failure]” ( [Reading: Numbers 22:2 - 25:9; Micah 5:7 – 6:8; Matthew 21:1-11]
Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in GOD'S Holy Kingdom.  Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to GOD in heaven for great is the  HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL in our midst.  The LORD is mighty over us and we are ever thankfully indebted to YOU, O MERCIFUL GOD.  May we examine our ways, test them, and return to YOU, O MOST HIGH.
Have a sweet and blessed Sabbath with family and friends.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The highest reward for man’s trial and toils is not what he gets for it, but what he becomes by it.

ENEMIES, YOUR ADVANTAGE
"Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets." [Luke 6. 26]

Although it may not seem to be a compliment to say that a CHRIST-like-one has enemies, but true.  Such as when SCRIPTURE tells what GOD said about Pharaoh — "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show MY power in you, and that MY NAME may be declared in all the earth." [Romans  9. 14]  Even the Apostle Paul had many bitter enemies, and they finally got him executed.  In fact, most if not all of the great heroes of the faith, over the centuries had enemies and had to overcome bitter opposition from that wicked one (Satan).

So instead of resenting our enemies, we should thank ALMIGHTY GOD for them, as they enable us to become more like our LORD and SAVIOR, MESSIAH YESHUA!  Only through such experiences can we learn what it means to say, as did Paul — "I have been crucified with CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST lives in me." [Galatians 2. 20]  Only if we have enemies can we learn to obey CHRIST’S challengingly difficult command to "love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you." [Matthew 5. 44]  We also learn just how precious it is to have faithful, loving friends.

The LORD Y’SHUA could easily have called on twelve legions of angels to rout HIS enemies.  Instead, HE submitted to their vicious insults and cruel tortures, even praying in HIS agony and suffering on the cross, "FATHER, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." [Luke 23. 34]  The enemies of MESSIAH killed HIM, but if they had not done so, HE would not have died for our sins, and we would be lost eternally.  This is a mystery to think about although it is difficult to fully understand and appreciate; yet as the HOLY SCRIPTURES promises, "Surely the fiercest of man shall praise YOU; with the remainder of wrath YOU shall gird YOURSELF." [Psalms (Tehillym) 76. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Therefore, the enemy of men can be an instrument of DIVINE grace to the believer, for "tribulation produces perseverance (patience); and perseverance, character; and character, hope." [Romans 5. 3 - 4]  And, "our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2 Corinthians 4. 17]  The SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE certainly works all things out for our good.  So, in all things, REJOICE!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Bidding farewell to Sabbath and observing Tzom Tammuz (Fast of Tammuz, 17 Tammuz 5778 -July 20th this year).
This is the traditional day that Moses broke the tablets [Exodus32.6-19]; the Temple service was disrupted [Jeremiah 52.6-7]; and the walls of Jerusalem were breached.  Three weeks of mourning, "bein hametzarim (between the straits)" — begin on the 17th of Tammuz and Tisha b’Av — the historical days of misfortune and calamity for the Jewish people.  During this time, both the First and Second Temples were destroyed, among other tragedies.
Tammuz, although a Babylonian name of an idol, is used for the month as sages comment that this name was deliberately chosen to remind the Jewish people of the judgment that comes from idolatry – beginning with the Golden Calf incident and later with the secret cult worship in “high places” that led to the destruction of the Temple.  Make the new week count by counting your blessings and obeying THE BLESSED ONE..

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Believing is a fine thing, but executing those beliefs is a test of strength.

MESSIAH'S BIRTHPLACE
"And you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah, least among the clans of Judah, from you ONE shall come forth to rule Israel for ME — ONE WHOSE origin is from of old, from ancient times." [Micah (Michah) 5. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Micah indicates the birthplace of MESSIAH OF ISRAEL as Bethlehem Ephrathah (about 6 miles southwest of Jerusalem) was also the birthplace of King David.  Bethlehem means "House of Bread." Ephrathah comes from the root word meaning "fruitful." Both names convey the fertility of the region (depicting the Bread and Wine).  The Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH (ANOINTED ONE) is that BREAD WHO came down out of heaven, WHO was born in the HOUSE OF BREAD and WHO is the FRUITFUL ONE as it was prophesied.

In this poor, meager and inconspicuous little town, ONE was to be born WHO could take the foolish things of this world and confound the wise; WHO, by HIS coming, could transform the unlovely into a thing of beauty; WHO could, by HIS very presence, compel the learned to bow in humility before HIM, and kings to lay their authority at HIS feet!

Though HE was to be RULER (KING) in Israel, the LORD JESUS, GOD'S ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON was meek and lowly in heart.  The OMNIPOTENT LORD GOD chose a stable in the smallest town in Judah for birth of HIS UNIQUE SON, rather than a royal palace.  But when the SAVIOR was born there, the unlovely, unimportant small town was transformed, and the least became the greatest.  Lambs are born in stables, not palaces.  GOD'S PRECIOUS GIFT came as the "LAMB OF GOD" to be sacrificed.

Today, the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH is still searching for a place in the heart of the insignificant, unlovely least of all the people.  HE desires to take up HIS abode there withIN such hearts.  And when the GREAT & MIGHTY TRANSFORMER does enter, HE will (in a sense) do with our useless, worthless life as HE did with the little town in which HE was born!  With GOD, we are no longer just human for HE transforms us into "new creatures" for HIS glory and praise.

We who have opened the door of our hearts and lives to the LORD YESHUA and allowed HIM room to be born there, though poor, needy, lost and unworthy we can rejoice exceedingly!  The reason:  We realize that GOD MOST HIGH, in HIS infinite, great and boundless love has spoken and fulfilled HIS promise to us touching our individual lives.  "But you...though you are little, yet out of you shall HE come forth to ME — THE ONE — to be RULER... WHOSE goings forth are from of old, from everlasting."

Just as our BLESSED LORD has promised, we are now HIS OWN special people, zealous for good works, who have been called out of darkness into HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world HE created.  May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed, MOST HOLY ONE, in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time, Amen.  May YOU be blessed forever, even throughout all eternity.  May YOU, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored and exalted above all else. Amen
Zey ha-yom asaw ADONAI, nagilah ve-neesmechah voh.  This is the day the LORD has made, we will rejoice and we will be glad in it.  May the LIGHT of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, fill you with a yearning desire to submit to HIS inscrutable will and give you strength for your daily tasks.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
You must control your evil inclinations that temptation may not master you.

DIETARY LAWS
ALMIGHTY GOD instructs the children of Israel in HIS Laws concerning their diet.  They were forbidden to eat the flesh of animals whose "hoofs are not cloven; those who do not chew the cud (horses, swine, camel, etc.)" —  fish that "lack fins and scales (shrimp, octopus, crabs, lobster, etc.)" —  birds "of prey (carrion, vulture, owl, etc.)" —  and all creeping things and insects "except for certain types of locusts." [Leviticus/Vayikra 11; Deuteronomy/Devarim 14]

Note: There was a difference between Clean and Unclean animals even before the Law. At the time of the flood Noah was to take Seven of every Clean animal, male and female; and Two each of the Unclean animals, male and female. — Genesis/Bereshith 7

Even of the clean animals permitted for food, certain parts were forbidden: The Blood [Deuteronomy/Devarim 1. 23], the Fat [Leviticus/Vayikra 3. 3 - 5; 7. 23], and in Jewish custom, the Hind Quarter because it contains the sciatic nerve.  The hind quarter is avoided as food because the ANGEL OF THE LORD touched Jacob's thigh muscle when he was allowed to wrestle with HIM.  Genesis 32 tells the story and concludes: "That is why the children of Israel to this day do not eat the thigh muscle that is on the socket of the hip, since Jacob's hip socket was wrenched at the thigh muscle." [Genesis (Bereshith) 32. 32 Tanakh, Torah]

These dietary laws were given to the Israelites primarily for hygienic reasons to bring to their attention the importance of being clean and holy in the sight of the ETERNAL GOD.  Their difference from other people was not only to be in their religious worship, but also in their eating habits.  The HOLY ONE explained this conclusively and definitely:
"You shall not draw abomination upon yourselves through anything that swarms; you shall not make yourselves unclean...you shall sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I am HOLY.  Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth…you shall be holy, for I am HOLY.  These are the instructions concerning animals, birds, all living creatures that move in water, and all creatures that swarm on earth, for distinguishing between the unclean and the clean, between the living things that may be eaten and the living things that may not be eaten." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 11. 43 - 47 Tanakh, Torah]

The primary reason for giving these food laws to Israel was to sanctify (set apart) them or to make a difference between them and the heathen [Deuteronomy/Devarim 12. 2 - 3; Leviticus/Vayikra 11. 44]; they are to be a holy people to GOD MOST HIGH.

CREATOR GOD called some animals and fish clean and some unclean to teach lessons by the very nature of these animals and fish.  The Divided Hoof shows separation.  An animal with divided hoofs can climb to high places.  The people of GOD are to be like the clean animal — separated from the worldly system to climb the high mountains of spiritual victory!

The Fins are for propulsion, to swim against the current, to stay off the mud below.  The people of GOD are to be like the clean fish with fins; refuse to slide along in the mud or to drift with the tide, but swim against the current.  Scales (Hebrew: qasqeseth — coat of mail) on the clean fish are for protection against muddy waters and any contamination.  GOD'S people are to be like the clean fish with scales, though in the world, protected against all the filth of the world, encased in a "coat of mail."

ALMIGHTY GOD commanded HIS people to eat only the meat of those animals who "chew the cud."  The HEBREW TEXT translates "chewing the cud" as "reflect, think, to muse, to ponder, to meditate."  This is a mark of the sanctified life —  "to chew the cud" — the WORD OF GOD — is to be meditated upon day and night.

There is significance also in the command of the ETERNAL ONE which prohibits fat and blood.  Jewish custom, not GOD'S Law forbids the hind quarter of animals which were clean for food.  Blood, because the life of flesh is in the blood. [Deuteronomy/Devarim 12. 23; Leviticus/Vayikra 7. 26; 17. 10 - 11]  The fat, because the fat belonged to the LORD. [Numbers/B'Midvar 18. 17; Leviticus/Vayikra 3. 16]   The sinew (that shrank), because the HOLY ONE touched the human strength of Jacob in wrestling with him. [Genesis/Bereshith 32. 32]

In all this we see that Blood represents LIFE; Fat symbolizes ABUNDANCE, Sinew signifies STRENGTH — and all belongs to the LORD GOD!  It is only by the cleansing blood of the ANOINTED ONE, Y’SHUA ha’ MASHIACH, that we can stand clean (kosher) before the MOST HIGH.  Thank YOU, ETERNAL KING!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Blessed be the LORD, the MAKER, the LIVING GOD and EVERLASTING KING — for from old you have given YOUR servants the abundance of YOUR mercies and YOUR loving kindnesses.  YOU, my PRECIOUS REDEEMER, are above all gods, executing great judgment.  YOU are KING over all the earth, YOU are ONE LORD, and YOUR NAME is ECHAD (ONE).

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Knowledge is what you remember when you forgot everything you learned.

SECRET OF THE LORD
"Let me know YOUR paths, O LORD; teach me YOUR ways.  The secret of the LORD is for those who fear HIM; to them HE makes known HIS covenant." [Psalms (Tehillym) 25. 4, 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word for secret is cowd, which in this verse is like an amazing promise for the “inner counsel” directly from the TRIUNE GOD HIMSELF.  But, how can those who fear the LORD really know the secret counsels of the GODHEAD?  The answer can only be by divine revelation to GOD’S prophets.  As Amos records — "Surely, the LORD GOD does nothing unless HE reveals HIS secret to HIS servants the prophets." [Amos (Amus) 3. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Talmud teaches, “Seek not out the things that are to hard for you and into the things that are hidden from you inquire not.  In what is permitted to you instruct yourself; you have no business with secret things.”  However, when these ancient promises were given they were "settled in Heaven" [Psalms/Tehillym 119:89], though still not revealed to men.   "The secret things belong to the LORD our GOD, but those things which are revealed are for us and our children forever, that we may do all the words of this TEACHING." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh, Torah]   Then, when the PROMISED REDEEMER came, HE promised HIS disciples, "the HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY NAME, HE will teach you all things." [John 14. 26]

The NEW COVENANT discloses even more of GOD’S view, "We speak the wisdom of GOD in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which GOD ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the LORD OF GLORY.  But as it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM.  BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, Yes, the deep things of YEHOWAH.  For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?  Even so no one knows the things of GOD except the SPIRIT OF GOD.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT WHO is from GOD, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 7 - 12]

"GOD, WHO at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON, WHOM HE has appointed heir of all things." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 2]  Along with the twelve disciples, the Apostle Paul was called by the LORD GOD and through these men, Y’SHUA would convey to those who fear HIM all the rest of HIS revelation.  "By revelation HE made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of CHRIST), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the SPIRIT." [Ephesians 3. 3 - 5]

Finally, "the secret of the LORD" was completed in written-form by John, the last living apostle, with nothing else to be added or deleted [Revelation 22:18 - 19], that "the mystery of GOD would be finished, as MESSIAH Y’SHUA declared to HIS servants the prophets." [Revelation 10. 7]  All we shall ever need to know of GOD’S Eternal Counsels is now available to all who desire to know, written for our sake, for our hope, and our edification in the HOLY SCRIPTURES.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
This imperfect world can never answer the longings of your heart nor the purpose for which you came into existence.   Every tear, every sorrow, every disappointment, every unfulfilled longing is just a reminder that you are not HOME yet.  This life is only the beginning of real life and the matrix of the world to come.

Remember, that GOD is always there for us, and can help us overcome anything, just as HE always has for HIS own.  If we allow HIM to fight our battles — whatever those battles may be — HIS WORD will indeed break our enemy’s sword.  That powerful reminder of GOD’S love for us is such a blessed time to remember just how much GOD so loved the world and gave HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON; a special time to say thanks to the LOVING CREATOR for all the little and big miracles in our lives.  So, remember that no day is just another day...there are blessings around all of us every moment, just waiting for us to notice them.
Day 45 of L’Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Good teachers are mirrors as well as windows — they allow us to look at ourselves and see the world.

CAUSE YOUR FACE TO SHINE
"The LORD bless you and protect you!  The LORD make HIS face shine (deal kindly) upon you and be gracious with you!  The LORD bestow HIS favor upon you and grant you peace (shalom)!" [Numbers (B'Midvar) 6. 24 - 27 Tanakh, Torah]

The first active form of the word "shine" is here in this well-known blessing, the Aaronic Benediction for the children of Israel.  True light comes only from GOD THE CREATOR, since "GOD IS LIGHT." [1 John 1. 5]   We must continually receive the SON shining in our hearts to sustain our spiritual life, just as the world depends on the sunshine for its physical existence.

This prayer of blessing appears seven other times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "Make YOUR face shine upon YOUR servant; as YOU are faithful, deliver me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 31. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  "May GOD be gracious to us and bless us, and cause HIS FACE to shine upon us. Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 67. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  "O LORD GOD OF HOSTS, restore us; cause YOUR face to shine on us that we may be delivered." [Psalms (Tehillym) 80. 19; 80. 3, 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   "Make YOUR face shine upon YOUR servant, and teach me YOUR Laws." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 135 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   "O our GOD, hear now the prayer of YOUR servant and his plea and cause YOUR face to shine upon YOUR desolate sanctuary, for the LORD'S sake." [Daniel (Danyel) 9. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Since HOLY OMNIPOTENT GOD of all flesh dwells "in the unapproachable light" [1 Timothy 6. 16], HE shines on us for salvation, spiritual knowledge, and daily teachings and instructions through HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, WHO is "THE LIVING WORD" made FLESH.   "In HIM was life, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men." [John 1. 4]  "For it is GOD WHO commanded light to shine out of darkness WHO has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of JESUS THE CHRIST." [2 Corinthians 4. 6]  To HIM alone be honor, praise, glory, dominion, majesty and everlasting power forever and ever. Amen!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
The LORD shall yet comfort Zion and shall choose Jerusalem.  The wise serve the LORD OF GLORY out of their great love for HIM, in reverent fear.
Yeshuat Hashem k’heref ayin – GOD’S salvation and deliverance is like a blink of an eye.  Despite the bleakness of the situation and the darkness that feels completely irreversible, it can all change instantly. {Pesikta Zutreta, Esther 4:17}  The ALMIGHTY ONE can do anything; it is up to us to fervently ask and to remember that HE loves us.
Day 44 of L’Omer    Rosh Chodesh begins at dusk, welcoming the month of Sivan

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
PRAYER: The best and most effective form of wireless communication.

RETRIBUTION ON ALL NATIONS
"Yea, against all nations the Day of the LORD is near. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head.. That same cup that the Israelites drank on My Holy Mount, shall all the nations drink evermore at MY hand. Yes, they shall drink till their speech grows thick, and they shall become as though they had never been." [Obadiah (Obadyah) 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Obadyah is a Hebrew name means "worshiper or servant of YEHOWAH." Of the prophetic books of the OLD COVENANT, Obadiah is one of the oldest and obviously the shortest, only 21 verses. Since there is no mention of a king, verses 10-14 provide the only historical reference. The history of Edom began with Esau who was given the name Edom (means red) referring back to the red stew he traded his birthright for. The focus of the book is GOD’S coming judgment on the Edomite nation particularly because of their abusive treatment of Jacob, their Israelite brothers; and for their wickedness in general.

This prophecy contains the first mention (in order) of the coming "Day of the LORD." The first focus is especially on the Edomites. Yet, like most prophesy, it is not only present but future judgment on all nations that applaud the destruction of Jerusalem and Israel itself. There have been many forewarnings and partial fulfillments of this prophecy as nation after nation has been brought down throughout history under GOD’S awesome judgmental hand. Edom, in particular, has long since vanished as a nation for they rejoiced when foreigners plundered Jerusalem, and then became as one of them. Judgment at the end times is when the sentence will be on all the heathens.

"For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment with them on account of MY people, MY heritage Israel (Hebrew Tanakh reads: "morashah" — sacred inheritance), whom they have scattered among the nations. For dividing up My land among themselves and cast lots for MY people." [Joel/Yoel 3. 1 - 3]

"The LORD warned Israel and Judah by every prophet saying — Turn back from your wicked ways, and observe MY commandments and MY laws... Nevertheless they would not obey, but stiffened their necks, like their fathers who did not believe in the LORD their GOD; they rejected HIS Laws and HIS Covenant that HE had made with their fathers, and the warnings HE had given them. They went after idols, became idolaters; they imitated the nations that were all around them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them that they should not do like them. They rejected all the commandments of the LORD their GOD." [2 Kings (Melakhim Bet) 17. 13 - 16Tanakh, Nevi’im]

However, there is a great day coming called, "the Day of the LORD" and/or "the Day of WRATH" when all the heathen (Goyim/Gentile nations) nations, including America, will be judged by the GREAT GOD OF JACOB WHO created them, WHO died to redeem them, and WHO has been sorely rejected by them. "Out of HIS mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it HE should strike the nations. And HE HIMSELF will rule them with a rod of iron. HE HIMSELF treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD." [Revelation 19. 15]

The United States, up until now, has been spared because of its BIBLICAL foundations, its care for GOD’S chosen people — Israel, and its missionary efforts. Regrettably, these are disappearing at a disturbingly rapid rate and America’s time, like that of Edom, will surely come to an eternally fatal end. GOD destroyed Edom, it was totally ransacked, nothing thwarted HIS righteous judgment. "Then deliverers shall victoriously march up Mount Zion... and the Kingdom shall be the LORD'S." [Obadiah (Obadyah) 21 Tanakh, Nevi’im] The judgment of the LORD GOD ultimately will prevail triumphantly and the Kingdom shall be HIS. HalleluYAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May GOD bless you with eyes that see, ears that hear, and a heart that knows faith that is sure of what is hoped for and certain of what is not seen. [see Hebrews 11:1] The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA is the AUTHENTIC FIRST GIFT, WHO gave of HIMSELF deliberately! By dying and victoriously resurrecting, the HOLY ONE OF GOD came into this world to save it, to reach the lost, heal the sick, befriend those without a friend in the world, and be our PERFECT EXAMPLE that we might follow HIM. Let us go forth with the LIGHT of GOD'S WORD to the nations as HE commanded.
The ultimate beauty of Israel lies in the triumph of its perpetuity (time without end).
Day 39 of L’ Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To seek wisdom in old age is like a mark in the sand; to seek wisdom in youth is like an engraving on stone.

ZION BUILT UP
"For the LORD has built up Zion; HE has appeared in all HIS glory." [Psalms (Tehillym) 102. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT is going to do the building of Zion. This not only refers to the Great City, Jerusalem, but to the Jewish people. "Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the GLORIOUS PRESENCE (KABOD) OF THE LORD has shone upon you! Behold! Darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but upon you the LORD will shine, and HIS GLORIOUS PRESENCE (KABOD) be seen upon you." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Ezekiel was also given a prophecy of the building up of Zion. The ALMIGHTY GOD OF HEAVEN gave him a vision of the "valley of dry, disconnected bones." It was humanly impossible for these bones to live, but the LORD GOD told Ezekiel to preach to them. At the preaching of the LIFE-GIVING WORD, the bones came together; the HOLY ONE put sinew and flesh on them, then the SPIRIT OF GOD was put into them causing them to stand upright and live again. The BELOVED MASTER described these bones as the "whole house of Israel." Though dead, HE caused them to come up out of their graves from every land where HE had scattered them.

"Prophesy and say to them: Thus said the LORD GOD — I am going to open your graves and lift you out of the graves, O MY people, and bring you to the land of Israel. I will put MY SPIRIT (RUWACH — BREATH) into you and you shall live again, and I will set you upon your own soil. Then you shall know that I the LORD have spoken and have acted — declares the LORD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 37. 12, 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "I am going to take the Israelite people from among the nations they have gone to and gather them from every quarter, and bring them to THEIR OWN LAND. I will make them a single nation in the land, on the hills of Israel, and one KING (MESSIAH Y’SHUA) shall be KING of them all. Then they shall be MY people, and I will be their GOD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 37. 21 - 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The ALMIGHTY ETERNAL GOD is the only "Giver" of breath and spiritual life — that life comes exclusively through faith in the PROMISED ONE OF GOD, MESSIAH Y’SHUA the LORD. The only way either Jew or Gentile can come out of their "graves of spiritual death" and receive eternal life is to recognize and accept Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH — JESUS THE RISEN CHRIST — is THE ONE WHO was promised by GOD to come to Israel — THE KING in Zion. The GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL promised that ONE KING will rule "in that day" when Zion would be built up.

Will you be one of HIS people? Will you let this MAJESTIC SOVEREIGN KING rule in your life now and be your LORD for eternity? The KEEPER OF THE VINEYARD is coming soon to gather HIS people to HIMSELF!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Do not forget your position in this world — we are travelers passing through focusing on reaching a more lofty and meaningful destination. This world is like a lobby before the World to Come; prepare yourself in the lobby so that you may enter the Banquet Hall where our permanent residence is with the HOLY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.
Day 40 of L’ Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Adversity introduces a man to himself.

GOD’S WATCHFUL EYE
"Truly the eye of the LORD is on those who fear HIM, who wait for HIS faithful care and hope in HIS mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and sustain them in famine." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

GOD MOST HIGH sees and knows our past, observes all things present and knows the future, for HE is all-seeing and all-knowing, the OMNISCIENT ONE. Knowing this, we should fix our eyes constantly on our LORD & SAVIOR that we learn to fear and trust HIM, the ONLY SOURCE of redemption. Like a mother who has trained her child well, can guide that little one by a simple look; so is the LORD our GOD well able to direct us by the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT.

The LORD directs us by the indwelling SPIRIT and by the SCRIPTURES which guide us. GOD will always guide us in the right direction as we allow the COMFORTER to lead us, moment by moment, to control our thoughts and actions: "When HE, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, has come, HE will guide you into all truth; for HE will not speak on HIS OWN authority, but whatever HE hears HE will speak; and HE will tell you things to come. HE will glorify ME, for HE will take of what is MINE and declare it to you." [John 16. 13 - 14]

In difficult times, the LOVING MASTER is faithful to direct us on every side: "The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in parched places, and give strength to your bones. You shall be like a watered garden, like a spring whose waters do not fail." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 58.. 11 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you — Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My victorious right hand." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 41. 10 Tanakh, Nevi’im] "The LORD is my LIGHT and my SALVATION; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked assail me to devour my flesh or slander me, my enemies and foes are the ones who stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart shall not fear; should war rise against me, still would I be confident." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Even in death, the LORD leads us: "For this is GOD, our GOD forever; HE will be our guide even to death." [Psalms (Tehillym) 48. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no harm, for YOU are with me; YOUR rod and YOUR staff — they comfort me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; through rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be scorch, through flame, it shall not burn you. For I the LORD am your GOD, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, your SAVIOR." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Keep your eye on the CHERISHED PRIZE knowing that the reward will be worth it all as we live our life always doing what is well pleasing in HIS sight and for HIS glorious NAME’S sake.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Good Sabbath! Let us welcome Shabbat as we greet a beautiful bride. Sabbath of Bechukotai – “In My Statues” [Reading: Leviticus 26:3 - 27:34; Jeremiah 16:19 – 17:14; Matthew 16:20-28]
May our lips ever declare praises to ADON ha’SELICHOT, the MASTER of Pardon, our KING, HELPER, SAVIOUR & SHIELD for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us. Quickened by YOUR spirit, LORD, may we learn how to ennoble (glorify) the things of earth by sanctifying them to YOUR service; for only an open vessel — one’s mind, heart, and life can contain the infinity of ALMIGHTY GOD. Think about that. . . and have a restful day in MESSIAH!
Day 41 of L’ Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 5 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
An illiterate wise man isn't nearly as dangerous as an educated fool!

MESSIAH, ADAM & ABRAHAM
"So the LORD GOD cast a deep sleep upon the man (Adam); and, while he slept, HE took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that spot." [Genesis (Bereshith) 2. 21 Tanakh, Torah]

The Hebrew word for deep sleep is "tardema" which refers to a special state induced by the MOST HOLY LORD HIMSELF in order to express an important revelation to or through the person experiencing it.  The ALMIGHTY CREATOR made a help-mate (wife) for Adam during his "deep sleep" from whose "seed" all the nations of the earth would be born.  "And the LORD GOD fashioned the rib that HE had taken from the man into a woman; and HE brought her to the man." [Genesis (Bereshith) 2. 22 Tanakh, Torah]  The covenant GOD made with Adam and his wife, Chavvah (Eve) delegated dominion over the earth to their descendants.

Abram also experienced a deep sleep [Genesis/Bereshith 15. 12] when the MIGHTY ONE passed between the sacrificial animals and established HIS Great Covenant with Abram, promising that from his seed the "chosen nation" would be born.  "I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you shall be a blessing, a standard by which blessings are invoked." [Genesis (Bereshith) 12. 2 Tanakh, Torah]

The ABRAHAMIC COVENANT also delegated the central land of the earth to Isaac's descendants [Genesis/Bereshith 15. 18-21] and promised that "all the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you." [Genesis (Bereshith) 12. 3 Tanakh, Torah]  Abram did not pass between the animals, only the COVENANT-KEEPER could, for only the LORD OF GLORY can keep "the covenant" and the ALMIGHTY ONE knew it.

Adam and Abraham were types of the LORD JESUS, and their deep sleep pre-figured Y’SHUA'S own deep sleep of death on the cross.  Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH was the "LAST ADAM" and the "PROMISED SEED" died and is living again to give life to HIS friends — the Church; and living again to establish a holy nation of the redeemed.  Thereby fulfilling all of GOD'S ancient covenants, and instituting the everlasting NEW COVENANT in HIS OWN precious blood.

When Adam fell into a deep sleep his help-mate (other half) was created; when Abraham fell into his deep sleep a nation was born.  Much more important was the "deep sleep of death" of MESSIAH THE REDEEMER for death and hell were judged, and a new creation or kingdom of priests was born.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
The celebration of Passover should serve to remind us of our departure from the past and our commitment to obey GOD all the way to HIS Promised Land in holiness and integrity of life.  The Passover Seder is one of the most meaningful experience you can enjoy and should be a tremendous opportunity to express our overwhelming gratitude for ALMIGHTY GOD’S goodness and grace to us, and to renew our commitment to walk in loving obedience all the days of our lives.  May we always celebrate the ties of love and faith that bind us through MESSIAH Y’SHUA.
"Happy Passover" to our precious family of friends.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When you are hanging on by a thread, make sure it is the hem of the MASTER’S garment.

ETERNAL WORD
"I will continuously obey YOUR Law, forever and ever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 44 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Psalm 119 is the GREAT SERENADE OF THE WORD for in it are seven decreed declarations that "the WORD is forever!"  GOD'S Law of right and wrong behavior is everlasting, and we will keep it eternally.  "The LORD exists forever; YOUR WORD stands firm in heaven." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  The HOLY WRITTEN WORD of the ALMIGHTY KING OF GLORY will never change; it was waiting to be revealed in HIS time before the creation of the world.  It was there and forever will be.

"YOUR decrees are my eternal heritage; they are my heart's delight — I am determined to follow YOUR Laws to the utmost forever...YOUR righteous decrees are eternal; give me understanding, that I might live — I know from YOUR decrees of old that YOU have established them forever...Truth is the essence of YOUR WORD; YOUR just rules are eternal." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 111, 112, 144, 152, 160 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The NEW COVENANT has similar promises, the LORD JESUS said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORD will no means pass away." [Matthew 24. 35]   Peter, quoting the Prophet Isaiah wrote:  "The WORD of the LORD endures forever." [1 Peter 1. 25; Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 8]

Read the PRECIOUS WORD of OMNIPOTENT GOD slowly, deliberately, reverently for there you will gather roses, instead of thorns; find pearls, not pebbles; find love instead of hatred; forgiveness not vengeance; freedom instead of bondage; humility not pride; instead of enmity, reconciliation; instead of death, life, salvation, resurrection and heavenly treasures.  Then as we occupy ourselves in this we will find we are also purified as we watch for HIS soon return, and worship HIM for HIS abundant goodness to us.

How very foolish it is for anyone to commit his eternal soul to anything other than the only thing in this world that will last forever, the WRITTEN LIVING WORD OF GOD; its divine manifestation is the revelation and unveiling of the LOVING OMNIPOTENT GOD and the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA, our blessed SAVIOR & REDEEMER!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, may our lips ever declare praises to our KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD and magnify HIS glory for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us.  Blessed are YOU, WHO in YOUR glory gives life and light to the whole world; for YOUR great goodness and endless mercies, we give YOU thanks.
May the LIVING ETERNAL GOD, blessed be HE, hold you close, may HE hold you ever so close in the palm of HIS mighty hand and watch over you.  Have a great week honoring the HOLY ONE WHOM we celebrate and adore!
It is pointless to argue with those who happily pervert reality in the service of their profoundly held prejudices.  What we can accomplish on our own is hardly noteworthy.  But, with the hand of the MASTER DESIGNER in our life, great and marvelous things happen.  Think about that as you enjoy your up-coming week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Will you be a footnote in history or will you be a chapter heading?  We ask you to stand with Israel as she stares down the face of evil in this world once again.  As Jews around the world celebrate Purim (the holiday where the Book of Ester is read and GOD’S salvation is celebrated again) we say: "In every generation there are those that rise to destroy us and the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE, saves us from their hands."

MAN'S INFAMOUS ADVERSARY
The stunning, elegantly beautiful Hadassah (Queen Ester) had been reared by her cousin, Mordecai as his own daughter. [Esther/Ester 2. 15]   When she was chosen by King Ahasuerus as his Queen, Mordecai commanded her not to reveal her identity as a Jewess to her husband or to any of the court (for fear of death) — for the Jews were unpopular in Persia.  Hadassah obeyed Mordecai's command in every respect until the time came for the secret to be known.

A wicked man named Haman was made ruler over all the provinces in the kingdom by order of the king.  He required that all people bow to him to give him homage, but Mordecai, being a Jew, could only bow before the GOD OF ISRAEL and therefore provoked the wrath of the Prime Minister by disobedience to his command.  This enraged Haman to such a degree that he sought to destroy, not only Mordecai, but all the Jews in the province.  He persuaded King Ahasuerus to decree the death of all Jews because this one Jew did not bow to him.

Jewish people explain the casting of lots "Purim" like this:  Haman, having been warned that all enemies of the Jews had in the past met with frustration, being superstitious, decided to cast lots to determine the most favorable day for the slaughter.  The "lots" indicated that day to be the 13th day of the twelfth month, Adar.  But it turned out that Haman was hanged on the same gallows which he had previously prepared for Mordecai, and all the Jews escaped a terrible massacre.  The next day, the 14th of Adar, the victory was joyously celebrated.

Esther had been willing to die for her people's salvation.  The LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA was not only willing, but did die in order that HIS people would be saved from eternal destruction!  Then, just as HE said HE would, Y’SHUA rose from the grave victoriously.  HalleluYAH!

Haman, a hater of the Jews [Esther/Ester 3. 6], and Mordecai, the Jew, are not mere figures in history.  Ever since there have been Jews, there have been Haman’s throughout the centuries who have ever been their enemies bent on their destruction.  The Egyptians were the first people on record to institute anti-Semitic practices. [Genesis/Bereshith 43. 32]

The real reason for the attack on the Jewish nation is given in the Book of Revelation:  "Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male CHILD." [Revelation 12. 13]   The Dragon hates and persecutes "the woman" that brought forth the MAN-CHILD (Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH).   It is the old enmity, the serpent, against the chosen vessel through which the "BRUISER of his head" was born into the world.   But the ETERNAL ONE, blessed be HE and blessed be HIS HOLY NAME, uses the wrath of the dragon for HIS OWN purposes touching HIS people.  Just as Joseph dealt with his brethren in the time of famine, speaking roughly to them, accusing them of being thieves, causing the cup to be found in innocent Benjamin's sack to awaken their slumbering consciences about the dark deed in the background of their lives.  Finally they cried, "We are truly guilty concerning our brother" as their sin rose up before them.  This is the true cause of the wicked persecution of the Jews.

On the very first occasion that the Devil is mentioned by name, he is described as standing up against Israel, "Satan arose against Israel and incited David to number Israel." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 21. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  This is the secret of anti-Semitism.  The Old Dragon, Satan is the enemy of all mankind, but his hatred is directed particularly against the Jews and all who love the GOD OF THE HEBREWS.

However, the national cultures and races of earth meet in the LORD JESUS to discover we are brothers.  The more a person loves Y’SHUA, the RIGHTEOUS KING OF GLORY, the more we love each other.  The closer we get to MESSIAH Y’SHUA, the closer we are bound to all men.  Hate cannot live in the light of the love of our WONDERFUL REDEEMER.

May ALMIGHTY GOD fortify the spirit of every reader of these lines against the satanic influences abroad everywhere today, even robbing many in the churches of a DIVINE BLESSING!  Thus we must "be strong in the LORD and in power of HIS might.  Put on the full armor of GOD, that you may be able to stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil wickedness in heavenly place." [Ephesians 6. 10 - 12]   The LORD JESUS CHRIST declared, "This is MY commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." [John 15. 12]  Therefore, go forth loving and being loved, the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD is with you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
As we prepare to celebrate Purim, let us take off these 4 masks to experience true joy:
Mask of Self-Containment. GOD created us with a deep, spiritual yearning to connect to each other.  We do need each other, and none of us can live happily and successfully without our families, our friends and our communities.
Mask of Busyness.  On Purim let us focus on being.  On transcending the limits of our ordinary days.  On getting past the mundane distractions by sitting down to a festive Purim meal with family and friends.  Eat delicious food.  Have deep conversations.  Focus on the blessings and the beauty of the people and the abundance surrounding us.
Mask of Materialism. Take off the mask of materialism by recognizing that the ALMIGHTY ONE gives us each of these pleasures to connect to HIM, and to create kindness and gratitude in our lives.  We don’t need to deny ourselves the physical pleasures of this world, but we do need to recognize that we have the opportunity to uplift our souls by  blessings and glowing with the joy of living for the MASTER.
Mask of Doubt. Learn it and see the depth and see how GOD planned every single, tiny detail.  How HE placed each person in the exact place in the exact time that he needed to be there.  How HE set up our salvation before our downfall.  How HE hid beneath the story line but revealed HIS great kindness and love for us in the end.  Let’s take off our masks of doubt and try on faces alive with faith and belief in the exquisite interconnectedness between every person and event in our lives.  Let’s not be ashamed to face ourselves, to hear our secrets, to take off the masks that block us from everything that is real.
Some Sages call the Scroll of Ester the Scroll of Hiddenness (hester panim, meaning hidden face), because THE DIVINE ONE hides in order that we will look for HIM. . .and find HIM.  THE DIVINE ONE, ALMIGHTY GOD, does not despair of human beings, HE stands close in the shadows waiting. . . and waiting. . . and waiting. . .
"Hag Semaiach — Good Holiday!"
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
How odd of GOD to choose the Jews; but, not as odd as those who choose the Jewish GOD, but spurn the Jews.

OVERCOMERS
"Go, assemble all the Jews who live in Shushan, and fast in my behalf; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day.  I and my maidens will fast likewise.  Then I will go to the king, though it is contrary to the law; and if I perish, I shall perish!" [Esther (Ester) 4. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Hadassah, daughter of Abihail, the beautiful courageous queen who was renamed Esther, spoke these memorable words proving she was prepared to risk her own life to save the lives of her people, the Jews.  It was a known death sentence for anyone to intrude into the king’s inner court who had not been called, except the one to whom the king would hold out his golden scepter.  However the matter was urgent, so Queen Esther chose to go against the commands of men in order to obey GOD’S higher bidding.  It is always the right thing to listen and obey the voice of the MASTER, no matter how men may judge us.  "We ought to obey GOD rather than men...And we are HIS witnesses to these things, and so also is the HOLY SPIRIT whom GOD has given to those who obey HIM." [Acts 5. 29, 32]

This same SPIRIT OF GOD was found in Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael (Meshach), and Azariah (Abed-Nego) who chose to be thrown into the burning fiery furnace rather than worship the king of Babylon’s gods or his gold image, each testifying to Nebuchadnezzar — "our GOD WHOM we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and HE will save us from your hand, O king.  But even if HE does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up." [Daniel (Danyel) 3. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The HOPE OF ISRAEL did deliver Queen Esther, Mordecai, her cousin that raised her as his own daughter, and all the Jewish people; as well as the three faithful Jewish men that were indeed thrown into the king’s fiery furnace. [see Daniel/Danyel 3]  Moreover, the king and his counselors witnessed these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

Many have died for their faith rather than deny their faith.  All the apostles, except for John, died as martyrs; and there are countless others through the ages, who "did not love their lives to the death" [Revelation 12. 11], if it meant denying their BELOVED REDEEMER & LORD.

CHRIST-like-ones, those real believers are suffering such persecutions today around the world.  The time is coming, and that very soon, when the last great GOD-rejecting king of the earth (the Beast, Antichrist, Satan-the great deceiver) will "cause as many as would not worship the image of the Beast to be killed.  He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." [Revelation 13. 15 - 17]

Once again, the VICTORIOUS LORD OF GLORY will champion over the enemy for HIS called, chosen, and faithful saints will "overcame him by the blood of the LAMB and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives to the death." [Revelation 12. 11]  Throughout the ages, the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH promised to be our peace; and HE forewarned, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." [John 16. 33]

May GOD give each of us the grace and boldness to say as Paul did, "CHRIST will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.  For to me, to live is CHRIST, and to die is gain" [Philippians 1. 20 - 21]; and with Esther, "If I perish, I shall perish!"

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath!  Welcome O Bride of the week, the inner light of Shabbat, let us greet.  Those who keep the Desire of Days (Sabbath) and call it their delight will be satiated and delighted with GOD'S goodness.  Praised are YOU, YEHOWAH our GOD, SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and greatly favors us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us.
Sabbath of Tzav — “Command” [Reading: Leviticus 6:8 - 8:36; Jeremiah 7:21 – 8:3, 9:23-24; Matthew 9:10-17]
Exalting Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, the HOLY ONE WHO gives true Sabbath peace and rest.  We prayerfully ask YOU, LORD JESUS to also give us kindness to hear with compassion, to offer support, loving comfort, and care.  Give us the courage to do what is needed, the wisdom to choose what is right and most fair.  Give us the vision to see what is possible.  Give us the faith that will help pave the way for a present that’s hopeful, a future that’s peaceful — give us the heart to bring joy to each day.  Thanking and praising YOU always for supplying this and so much more.
We have an AWESOME GOD, as the familiar song says, that He is on the throne ruling over the affairs of men, and that HE is worthy of all our praise and worship, not only on Sabbath, but every moment of our lives.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Everyone falls. . . it’s getting up afterwards that matters.

UNSPEAKABLE—INEXPRESSIBLE—INDESCRIBABLE
"And I know such a man — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, GOD knows — how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter." [2 Corinthians 12. 3 - 4]

The NEW COVENANT calls three things unspeakable, inexpressible or indescribable; all conveying the idea of a thing which is so marvelous it cannot be articulated (expressed, put into words).  Unspeakable words is mentioned above in 2 Corinthians; inexpressible joy is emphasized in 1 Peter 1:8; and an indescribable gift is the topic of 2 Corinthians 9:15.

The AMAZINGLY INDESCRIBABLE GIFT which Paul is referring to is obviously the LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH.  This MATCHLESS GIFT is what each of us are inadequate at being most thankful for every day of our lives when we come to know our LOVING SAVIOR.  "The GIFT of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 6. 23]  "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us." [Romans 5. 8]   "For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life." [John 3. 16]

When the Apostle Paul received MESSIAH Y’SHUA as his SAVIOR & LORD, he considered himself as "crucified with CHRIST" — yet he could also say that "the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the SON OF GOD WHO loved me and gave HIMSELF for me." [Galatians 2. 20]

It was Paul who had been chosen on a unique occasion to be "caught up into Paradise" where he "heard the inexpressible words."  Whatever he was privileged to see and hear convinced him irreversibly — for all time — that once a person decides that "to live is CHRIST" — then "to die is gain (favorably promoted)." [Philippians 1. 21]

Thus it will be for all who received by faith the ULTIMATE, INDESCRIBABLE GIFT. . .the RISEN LORD, the ROCK of our salvation.  Now we can join with another great apostle, Simon Peter, and say that we too "rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory" and await "the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1 Peter 1. 8 - 9] That is an unspeakable, inexpressible, indescribable gift of great joy that awaits all true believers!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Great and majestic is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD.  YOU have made YOUR eternal law our portion, and gave us a goodly heritage.  YOU appointed us to proclaim YOUR truth to the nations and to win them for YOUR Law of Righteousness.  Sanctify us for the service to which YOU called us, O HEAVENLY FATHER, that YOUR NAME may be hallowed through us in all the world.  Gather all YOUR children around YOUR Banner of Truth that YOUR praise may resound from one end of the earth to the other, and that the entire human family may be blessed with truth and peace!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A person who seeks help for a friend, while needy himself, will be answered first.

CREATOR OF ISRAEL
"I am your HOLY ONE, the LORD, your KING, the CREATOR of Israel." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The EVER-LIVING LORD GOD is often referred to as the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL and as the KING OF ISRAEL.  This reference to HIM as the CREATOR OF ISRAEL is particularly unique, however.   In the four other passages where GOD is called "CREATOR" —  HE, more specifically, is referred to as "your CREATOR" [Ecclesiastes/Kohelet 12. 1],  "CREATOR of the earth from end to end" [Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 28],  "the CREATOR, WHO is blessed forever" [Romans 1. 25], and the "FAITHFUL CREATOR." [1 Peter 4. 19]   But in what sense has the ALMIGHTY ONE become Israel's MASTER DESIGNER?

The MIGHTY GOD declared, "Be glad, then and rejoice forever in what I am creating.  For I shall create Jerusalem as a joy, and her people as a delight." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   "But now thus says the LORD WHO created you, O Jacob; WHO formed you, O Israel; fear not for I will redeem you, I have singled you out by name, you are MINE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

These testimonies apply to the spiritual creation of Israel in its special relation to GOD and to the world.  The physical City of Jerusalem (streets, walls, etc.) are built by man.   However, the HOLY ONE did create the physical Israel,  for HE created the marvelous process of human birth and the physical processes of the earth, which HE then rightly directed to ultimately establish the peoples and the land of Israel, HIS chosen.  And, there is a direct reference to the New Jerusalem, which will indeed be specially created.  The ALMIGHTY ONE, HIMSELF will create and form as spoken of by John who saw "the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from GOD, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." [Revelation 21. 2]   "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The OMNISCIENT GOD SUPREME is the GREAT ARCHITECT.  "I know too, that whatever GOD has brought to pass will recur evermore." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 3. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  Israel, like the new heavens and the new earth, is forever, for the MASTER DESIGNER is her MAKER & CREATOR.  "For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make shall endure by MY will — declares the LORD — so shall your seed and your name endure." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  Someday very soon, from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh will glory in the radiance of the MOST HOLY LORD GOD worshipping HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
The Book of Ester is read on Purim to recall the miracle of salvation of the Jews and to remind us that in any generation when a Haman raises his hand against GOD'S chosen people, we can expect another miracle.
In whatever mitzvah (good deed) you choose to do this Purim, let the greatest reality be that we have an AWESOME GOD, that HE is on the Throne ruling over the affairs of men, and that HE is worthy of all our praise and worship, even in difficult times.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

  A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I can be totally flexible as long as everything goes exactly the way I want it.

BROKEN BREAD
"As they were eating, JESUS took bread, blessed and broke it, then gave it to the disciples and said — Take, eat; this is MY body.  Then HE took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying — Drink from it, all of you.  For this is MY blood of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." [Matthew 26. 26 - 28]

There are twelve specific references that use the term for breaking bread, this is the first in the NEW COVENANT and each remind the participants of MESSIAH’S sacrificial death.  Even though Paul had not been present at this Passover Seder that was Y’SHUA’S Last Supper with HIS disciples, he evidently received a special personal revelation pertaining to it.  "For I received from the LORD that which I also delivered to you: that the LORD JESUS on the same night in which HE was betrayed took bread; and when HE had given thanks, HE broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is MY body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of ME."  In the same manner HE also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the NEW COVENANT in MY blood.  This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of ME." [1 Corinthians 11. 23 - 25]

The drinking of the cup was similarly recalled as being the shed blood of MESSIAH.  Performing and participating in this act helped them to remember and appreciate the great reality of eternal life imparted through Y’SHUA’S death.  The PROMISED ONE OF GOD, the BELOVED REDEEMER had said to them,  "Whoever eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.  For MY flesh is food indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed.  He who eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood abides in ME, and I in him.  As the LIVING FATHER sent ME, and I live because of the FATHER, so he who feeds on ME will live because of ME.  This is the BREAD which came down from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead.  He who eats this BREAD will live forever." [John 6. 54 - 58]

For a while after Y’SHUA’S resurrection and the empowering of the disciples by the HOLY SPIRIT, they continued "daily with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising GOD and having favor with all the people." [Acts 2. 46 - 47]  It looked as if the disciples combined eating their own evening meals with the remembrance of the LORD’S Supper.  Sometime later, for whatever reason, they changed it to the first day of the week when they came together. [see Acts 20. 7]

There is no specific instruction in SCRIPTURE as to how often this breaking of bread should be observed, but when it is the implied actions of "discerning the LORD’S body" is always critically essential and giving thanks to HIM for HIS sacrifice for us, as well as judging ourselves.  "For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the LORD’S body.  For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.  For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the LORD, that we may not be condemned with the world." [1 Corinthians 11. 29 - 32]  This is much more compulsory than the physical act of eating the broken bread and drinking the cup.  But whenever we do, "Remember HIM!"

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
If we are to prevail, we must unite under the banner of the Jewish MESSIAH — celebrating our unique heritage, our unique message, and our unique ability to bring inspiration to the world.  Let us rejoice in ALMIGHTY GOD’S plan in which the threats and schemes of the wicked will ultimately be done away with and the GLORIOUS KINGDOM OF GOD will bring eternal good.
Quickened by YOUR SPIRIT, may we learn how to ennoble the things of earth by sanctifying them to YOUR service.  We honour & praise the LORD Y’SHUA, the BLESSED REDEEMER.
The name Megillah Ester (Scroll of Ester) actually mean "revealing the hidden."  Unlike every other book in the Bible, Megillah Ester never mentions GOD'S NAME even once but the hidden hand of the Almighty is revealed through the events.  After all, there is no such thing as coincidence if you believe in the LOVING Heavenly Father!
Blessed & Happy Purim!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make the study of GOD'S Law your regular occupation!

MIGHTY WORD
"Behold, MY WORD is like FIRE — declares the LORD — and like a HAMMER that shatters rock!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The power resident in the WORD OF GOD — both HIS SPOKEN WORD and HIS WRITTEN WORD, the HOLY SCRIPTURES — are so great that the BIBLICAL writers almost exhaust their resources of language in trying to describe it, using many and varied figures of speech to illustrate its wonders.

It is the "WORD OF GOD" which produces and maintains life.  "When YOUR WORDS were offered, I devoured them; YOUR WORD brought me the delight and joy of knowing that YOUR NAME is attached to me, O LORD GOD OF HOSTS." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 15. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   It is both "milk" for the babe and "strong meat" for the mature in MESSIAH Y’SHUA [Hebrews 5. 12], and our daily bread.  "Man shall not live by bread alone" — the LORD JESUS said — "but by every WORD OF GOD." [Luke 4. 4]   "How pleasing is YOUR WORDS to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 103 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LIFE-GIVING WORD OF GOD is also our light day after day.  "We have the prophetic WORD made more sure...a light that shines in a dark place." [2 Peter 1. 19]   "YOUR WORD is a LAMP to my feet, a LIGHT for my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 105 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Also, we are counseled to take "the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD" [Ephesians 6. 17]; for "the WORD OF GOD is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." [Hebrews 4. 12]   As a HAMMER, it can break any resistant hindrance to CREATOR GOD'S will.

There are many other wonderful, explicit comparisons of the MIGHTY WORD OF TRUTH, for it so consumed the writers of the HOLY SCRIPTURES they could not help but write of its praises and powers.  Jeremiah stated, after having declared that he would no longer preach the WORD to unbelievers, "I thought — I will not mention HIM, no more will I speak in HIS NAME — but HIS WORD was like a raging fire in my heart, shut up in my bones; I could not hold it in, I was helpless." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 20. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   GOD'S HOLY WORD will not be silent or silenced!  Let us pray for such a burning, raging fire in our own souls and speak the merciful, life-giving WORD OF GOD with BOLDNESS.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
As we bid farewell to Shabbas Zakhor — Sabbath of Remembrance, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly and guard you, our dear ones in the coming week.
The purpose of wearing masks on Purim is not connected to mockery, permissiveness or the occult.  Though a source of great enjoyment for young and old alike, it bespeaks a much deeper theological truth.  The Book of Esther is the only text in HOLY WRIT where GOD'S NAME does not appear.  HE seems to be absent throughout the story but it becomes evident to all that the events are all directed by HIS MIGHTY Hand.  That is the ULTIMATE MASK.  It is the Mask of all the reality we experience daily, for behind the masked reality is the LOVING, COMPASSIONATE GOD OF THE HEBREWS.  As Jews, we believe that man is given choices to act out in this world but the junctions and highways have been set in place by the CREATOR.
The Book of Ester is read to recall the miracle of salvation of the Jews and to remind us that in any generation when any type of Haman raises his hand against GOD'S chosen people, we can expect another miracle.  Purim continues to be celebrated because its message needs to be remembered.  Those who seek destruction of the Jewish people are evil.  Their evil must be acknowledged.  Their words must be taken seriously.  Their goal must be prevented. Haman and his descendants must be defeated.
And how do we celebrate Purim today in light of modern day Iran’s seeming ascendancy to power, to strength and to wealth?  Perhaps the most important words of the Megillah Ester, the Scroll of Ester are V’Nahafoch Hu – “it was reversed.” [Ester 10:1]  Tragedy was turned round at the last moment, and all the plans Haman tried to implement to destroy the Jews were used in the end to save the Jews.  But we need to remember that there was quite a long passage of time from the initial decree to the resolution, from the fear to DIVINE intervention.
There’s no doubt that we are reliving the Purim story.  Persia is today’s Iran, our present day Haman who seeks our destruction.  What we need to stress is that we today are not yet at the end of the story.  We are still in the midst of the anxiety.  But our past needs to reassure us.  Purim ends with the evils our enemies sought to perpetrate against us befalling them instead.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Our trails are like a well that others draw water from so they can profit from where we have been; so, our path has a purpose beyond where it leads.

AMALEK - THE ETERNAL ENEMY
"Jacob shall again have calm and quiet with none to trouble him; for I am with you to deliver you — declares the LORD. I will make an end of all the nations among which I have dispersed you; but I will not make an end of you!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 30. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The reason — Because the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY said so!  The king of Egypt could not weaken the Jewish people [Exodus/Shemot 1:9-12]; the waters of the Red Sea could not drown them [Exodus/Shemot 14:13-31]; Balaam could not curse them [Numbers/B'Midvar 23:8]; the great fish could not digest them [Jonah/Yonah 1:17; 2:10]; the fiery furnace could not devour them [Daniel/Danyel 3:16-28]; Haman's gallows could not hang them [Esther/Ester 5 14; 8:1-2]; nations could not assimilate them [Esther/Ester 3:8; Numbers/B'Midvar 23:9]; and, dictators cannot annihilate them. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 14. 1 - 2; 1 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Alef 17. 21 - 22]

No nation demonstrates as much bitterness toward the Israelites as did the Amalekites.  The ancient Israelites long remembered how this brutal tribe attacked women, children, the aged, and the sick as they wandered through the wilderness.  The Israelites were told by the GOD MOST HIGH that since Amalek did not revere or regard HIM, they were not to forget what Amalek did "you shall BLOT OUT the memory of Amalek from under heaven.  Do not forget!" [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 25. 19 Tanakh, Torah]

It was not until the period of King Saul, son of Kish, who came from the tribe of Benjamin, that there was an opportunity to deal a final blow to the Amalekites.  Unfortunately, King Saul was unable to completely destroy the Amalekites; they survived only to haunt Israel and become a famed personification of evil.

When Haman's lineage is identified in the Scroll of Esther, he is known as "the Agagite" [Esther/Ester 3. 1], the name given to the last king of the Amalekites captured under Saul.  When Mordecai's pedigree is identified, he is known as a descendant of "Kish, a Benjaminite" [Esther/Ester 2. 5], the father of Saul.

The author (perhaps Mordecai, as he did keep records, see 9:20) of the Megillah of Ester (Scroll of Esther) has remarkably brought together these two central male characters to finish what could not be done a thousand years earlier.  The victory of Light over Darkness; of Righteousness over Wickedness could now be played out between Mordecai and Haman.  For the Jewish people, the Amalekites and Haman became a metaphor for wicked people or individuals. . . respectively, whose hatred of Jews was ravenously unquenchable and merciless.

The Scroll of Esther has brilliantly woven together elements of the ancient Israelite history by plucking out the unfinished business between Saul and the Amalekites, as described in 1 Samuel 15; and by projecting that clash between Amalek and Israel against the backdrop of the story of Esther.  On the Sabbath before Purim, Sabbath Zakhor (Sabbath of Remembrance), a special section from the TORAH is read, reminding Israel to remember Amalek, and the haf-TORAH is the story of Saul and his failure to destroy this wicked and vicious tribe.

The struggle between good and evil never ceases, and so the world of Amalek and Haman are still mentioned by Jews everywhere when they need to identify a people who seeks to destroy them, or an individual who hates them.

"Purim (lots — referring to the lots cast by Haman to determine the day decreed for the Jewish annihilation) shall never cease among the Jews, and the memory of them shall never perish among their descendants." [Esther (Ester) 9. 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   It is an "occasion for joy and gladness, happy festivals for the House of Judah." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 8. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  This holiday is linked to love, truth, integrity and peace.

Although there will be an Amalek in every generation who will try to destroy, not only the Jewish people, but all of GOD’S elect, the followers of the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA have a greater deliverance than the Jews of old; a greater enemy than Haman, but a "GREATER DELIVERER" than Queen Esther.  We, who know the MIGHTY CONQUEROR, remember HIS promise that we also shall be conquerors over every foe.  The LORD JESUS who has all power in heaven and earth declared to all who believe on HIM:  "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." [Luke 10. 19 - 20]   And, we celebrate because our names are "Written in Heaven in the LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE!"

"HalleluYAH!  Sing to the LORD a new song, HIS praises in the congregation of HIS faithful people.  Let Israel rejoice in their MAKER; let the children of Zion be joyful in their KING.  Let them praise HIS NAME in dance; Let them sing praises to HIM with the timbrel and lyre.  For the LORD takes pleasure in HIS people; HE will beautify the humble with salvation.  Let the faithful exult in glory!  Let them shout for joy on their beds.  Let high praises (ho’sanna, adoration, honor), of GOD be in their mouth, and a double-edged sword in their hands to inflict vengeance on the nations, and punishment on the peoples; binding their kings with shackles, their nobles with fetters of iron; to carry out judgment written against them — This is the glory of all HIS faithful people.  HalleluYAH." [Psalms/Tehillym 149 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  Praise to the ALMIGHTY for the victory!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath Zakhor — Sabbath of Remembrance! Sabbath of Vayikra – “And He Called” [Reading: Leviticus 1:1 - 6:7; 1 Samuel 15:2-34; Mark 6:14-29]
When we recall Amalek, and all the foes who have threatened our existence, let us dwell on the power of faith and devotion which has preserved us to this hour.  Many are the enemies that have risen against us, but trusting in YEHOWAH our GOD, we were not dismayed.  Permeate us with the faith of former generations of Israel.  Give us courage and steadfastness that, like Mordecai, we may bend the knee to YOU alone.  Uphold us that, like Hadassah, we may walk undaunted in the path of loyalty.
When adversity and sorrow come upon our people, may we face them manfully as trials of faith.  Along with suffering and persecution, may we continue to cling to YOU and perform our appointed tasks in confidence and fortitude.  Strengthen us to combat prejudice, injustice and oppression when they strike not only against us, but all YOUR children.  May we strive unceasingly for the triumph of truth and right over falsehood and wrong. Amen
As we prepare for Purim (begins on the eve of March 20th), we encourage you to read about Ta’anit Ester — Fast of Esther — the Book of Esther is read to recall the miracle of salvation of the Jews and to remind us that in any generation when a "Haman" raises his hand against GOD'S chosen people, we can expect another miracle.
It also teaches us that life's challenges work out for the best, when we recognize what appear to be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better and when we recognize that all things come from Omnipotent GOD'S invisible hand that guides our lives.  Have a blessed Sabbath!
"Hag Semaiach! — Happy Purim!"

Post  Admin Thu 14 Mar 2019, 10:29 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The seven deadly sins: Wealth without work; Pleasure without conscience; Knowledge without character; Commerce without morality; Science without humanity; Worship without sacrifice; and Politics without principle.

GATES OF HELL
"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock (talking about truth, not Peter) I will build MY church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." [Matthew 16. 18]

Many take this verse to teach security, that although the Devil and his henchmen are attacking, the church and the CHRISTians are safe within their fortress. In fact, many translators understand Gates figuratively, feeling that since gates are strong and important, they can be viewed as synonymous with power. . . implying that the "power of hell" is assembled against the church of LORD Y’SHUA, the ANOINTED ONE OF GOD.

However, it never appears, in any case, to be understood to mean "power" — it always means "gates" — either literal gates in a literal wall or a metaphorical entryway. The text is not talking about the Power of Hell, but the Gates of Hell. It pictures CHRISTians on the attack, not of the Evil Devourer endeavoring to destroy CHRIST-like-ones. The forces of evil are the wretched hopeless ones crouched within their stronghold, while the Church is battering down their gates!

For the promises in the OLD COVENANT are still true, our HEAVENLY CONQUEROR unceasingly fights for HIS saints today. "The LORD shall go forth like a MIGHTY WARRIOR; HE whips up HIS rage like a man of war. HE shall cry out, yes, roars aloud; HE charges and shall prevail upon HIS enemies." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Though the enemy be as "a fortified bronze wall they shall not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver and save you — says the LORD. I will save you from the hands of the wicked and rescue you from the clutches of the violent" says the LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL. [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 15. 20 - 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST JESUS." [2 Corinthians 10. 4 - 5] These verses sound the battle cry, and the battleground is the minds of men. We are commanded to cast down (Hebrew: shachach — literally meaning demolish) improper reasoning and arrogant philosophy, capturing every thought (mind) for the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, thereby destroying the entrenchment's of evil.

There is a time for defense, but let us never forget, we as followers and joint-heirs of LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH, are to be on the offensive as well. The CONQUERING VICTORIOUS MESSIAH, WHO leads us into the battle, will certainly lead us to a glorious victory! Exalted praises to our ETERNALLY MAGNIFICENT KING JESUS forever, the battle is triumphantly won.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
May the LORD GOD bless and honor you with HIS righteousness and surround you as with a shield.
Continue to learn about the MAGNIFICENT PLANNER, for the more we know of HIM, the more we can trust HIS plans — gladness will reign and joy will increase as you grow in the fear and wisdom of the LORD.
“Pray for the well-being (Shalom- external peace) of Yerushalayim; may those who love you be at peace (Shalva- inner peace).” Psalm 122:6

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In Israel, in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.

WISDOM AT CREATION
"I (DIVINE WISDOM) was there when HE (MIGHTY WORD) set the heavens into place; when HE fixed the horizon upon the deep; when HE made the heavens above firm, and the fountains of the deep gushed forth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 27 - 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

DIVINE WISDOM, is speaking here.  This is an awe-inspiring description of some of CREATOR GOD'S handiworks when, through Y’SHUA the SECOND PERSON in the TRINITY, HE was creating and making all things.

Proverbs 8:27 speaks of the pre-existence of JESUS before the creation of space, time, and universe itself.  The earth was "without form" with only a great mass of water, rock and mud.  Then GOD OMNIPOTENT "set a compass" on the face of the deep, began the gravitational forces which brought it into a sphere form.  The Hebrew word "chuwg" means compass, sphere.  It is the same word where it is said that the HOLY ONE "enthroned above the circle (sphere, vault) of the earth." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 40. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Then the MIGHTY CREATOR "established the clouds above."  This cloud, thin mists or vapor would refer to the great water canopy "above the expanse." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 7 Tanakh, Torah]   Finally, the MASTER DESIGNER strengthened the fountains of the deep, locking them under the "foundations of the earth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 29 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   The same strong fountains of the deep would later be broken up at the time of the Great Flood.  When the earth was completed, ALMIGHTY GOD "rejoiced in HIS inhabited world." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Now sons, listen to me (Wisdom & Understanding) — Happy are they who keep my ways. Heed discipline and become wise; do not spurn it.  Blessed is the man who listens to me, coming early to my gates each day, waiting outside my doors.  For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD, but he who misses me destroys himself; all who hate me love death." [Proverbs (Mishle) 8. 32 - 36 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  Wisdom comes as we incline our ear to our MASTER'S VOICE, apply HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD to our lives for understanding, revere the LORD GOD OF HOSTS and keep HIS commandments.  GREAT is the GOD OF CREATION!  GREAT is HIS wisdom!  GREAT is HIS love regarding the sons of man expressed in the beloved LORD Y’SHUA ha’MASHIACH our REDEEMER & SAVIOR.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
HOLY LORD GOD, may YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR SOVEREIGNTY revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time.  May YOU be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else.  Blessed are YOU, ALMIGHTY LORD beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen.  May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.
We praise YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR compassion boundless.  Be gracious to us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD.  Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments.  Thank YOU for YOUR saving power, for from YOU comes our help.  Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU in faithfulness.  Joyfully, we worship You.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the destination is certain, the journey is worthwhile.

NONE OTHER
"There is no god besides ME, a JUST GOD and a SAVIOR; there is none besides ME.  Look to ME, and be saved, all you ends of the earth!  For I am GOD, and there is none else.  By MYSELF I have sworn, the word has gone out of MY mouth in truth, it shall not return: To ME every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear loyalty." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 21 - 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

From the time sin entered into GOD'S created world, HIS message to all people of all ages has been the same.  The MOST HIGH OMNIPOTENT ONE prophesied that there would soon be a coming REDEEMER — the SEED of a woman WHO would crush the head of the serpent, while the REDEEMER HIMSELF would be made to suffer in order to do away with the effects of sin. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 15]  "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; it is the blood, as life that makes expiation for the soul." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

Time after time the LOVING MASTER warned the people of HIS hatred of sin and wickedness:  "YOU are not a GOD WHO takes pleasure in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with YOU.  The boastful shall not stand in YOUR sight.  YOU hate all evildoers; YOU shall destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the murderous and deceitful man." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 4 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  "Six things the LORD hates; seven are an abomination to HIM: a haughty look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet swift in running to evil, a false witness testifying lies, and one who incites discord among brothers." [Proverbs (Mishle) 6. 16 - 19 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

However, LOVING CREATOR recognized that mankind was totally incapable of measuring up to HIS standard of perfection.  Therefore, HE wrote the great statement for HIS righteous requirements, the Ten Commandments that verified the utter impossibility of complete compliance.  However, on the other side, the HOLY ONE repeatedly extended HIS invitation to be rescued from sin and its effects and its necessary judgment by confidence in HIS Plan of Salvation for mankind.  So, to all the ends of the earth, everyone has the opportunity to be saved.  "Only in the LORD do I have righteousness and strength.  To HIM men shall come." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "O GOD of our SALVATION, in WHOM all the ends of the earth and the distant seas put their trust and confidence." [Psalms (Tehillym) 65. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The perfect plan of the MASTER DESIGNER focuses on the promised REDEEMER WHO would come to buy back and deliver humanity from its enslavement to sin.  "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a SON, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANU’EL." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 7. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]   "And she will bring forth a SON, and you shall call HIS NAME IMMANU’EL, for HE will save HIS people from their sins." [Matthew 1. 21]  "It was our sickness that HE was bearing, our suffering that HE endured.  Yet we esteemed HIM stricken, smitten and afflicted by GOD; but HE was wounded because of our sins, HE was bruised for our iniquities.  HE bore the chastisement that made us whole...And the LORD has laid on HIM the guilt and iniquity of us all." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 4 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

What a WONDERFUL SAVIOR and a INCREDIBLY PHENOMENAL GOD we worship, adore, and serve!

May GOD'S PRECIOUS WRITTEN WORD be the center of your life.  In it, you will find sweet honey in the ROCK.  Have a blessed day as you saturate yourself in the sweetness of the MIGHTY LORD, the SOURCE OF LIFE.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
You will not attain what you love if you do not endure much that you hate; and you will not be freed from what you hate if you will not endure much from what you love. [Moses ben-Ezra]

ONE WAY OF ESCAPE
"She let them down by a rope through the window — for her dwelling was on the outer side of the city wall and she lived in the actual wall...She sent them on their way, and they departed; and she tied the scarlet cord to the window." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 2. 15, 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When the spies came into Jericho to search out the land, it was only Rahab the harlot and her household who alone was saved when the rest of the city was destroyed.  Rahab had rescued the two spies by hiding them on her rooftop under the stalks of flax, when the men of Jericho came searching for them.  When the gates of the city were closed, Rahab helped them escape through her window, which was on the wall of the city.  Then, according to their word, she hung a scarlet cord from the window through which she let them down as a sign of their vow. [Joshua/Yehoshua 2]

The window, was the only way of escape for the Hebrew spies, and the window held the "sign of the oath" which was required for the protection of all within that home.

Noah was commanded to build an ark, and did so specifically according to the specifications from ELOHIYM.  "Make an opening for daylight in the ark, and finish it a cubit from the top. Put the door to the ark in its side." [Genesis (Bereshith) 6. 16 Tanakh, Torah]

This window in the ark was the only source of light; and its door in the side was the only way into safety.  "At the end of forty days, Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made." [Genesis/Bereshith 8. 6]  It was the only way Noah had of opening up and receiving news of new life and restoration, for it was through this one window that the dove was sent forth and returned with the sign, the freshly plucked olive leaf by which Noah knew the waters had receded from the earth. [Genesis/Bereshith 6 - 8]

When all flesh that was to be saved on the ark was in, the LORD GOD shut the door.  When the time for the closing of the age and the day of grace, GOD will again close the door.  Likewise, HE WHO opens the way to salvation, knows when it will be shut and not opened again.  There will be no other opportunity to be saved.

The ONLY SOURCE OF LIFE, MERCY & TRUTH is JESUS, the PERFECT ONE is the ONLY-BEGOTTEN, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD.  "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6]  The GOOD SHEPHERD came to earth to give us life, and that we may have life more abundantly. [John 10. 10]

The unscrupulous principles of the world leads to confusion, offers multiple directions, and ends in utter destruction.  Thankfully, in the LORD Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH, all fear and confusion disappears for HE is the ONLY WAY OF ESCAPE becoming our PERFECT REFUGE from all sins.  HE is the ONLY SOURCE OF LIGHT EVERLASTING; HE is the ONLY WAY OF SALVATION .

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but GOD is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." [1 Corinthians 10. 13]  The LORD JESUS, the AMEN, the FAITHFUL & TRUE WITNESS, the BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD said, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." [Revelation 3. 19]  GOD’S desire is for us to be HIS people, and HE will be our GOD WHO will give us one heart to fear HIM forever, throughout all eternity.

The way GOD has provided to escape temptation, is by the knowledge of what lays ahead.  Like MESSIAH Y’SHUA, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith,  "WHO for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." [Hebrews 12. 1 - 2]  So, let us faithfully run, with patience,  determination and endurance, the race that is set before us.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
We share the blessed hope that, in Y'SHUA, every day will be as sweet as you walk close beside the LORD GOD.
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen.
The LORD reigns; HE is the KING robed in grandeur; the LORD has girded HIMSELF with strength.  The world also is set firm, that it cannot be moved.  YOUR Throne is set firm from of old; from eternity YOU have existed.  The streams sound, O LORD, the ocean sounds its thunder, the ocean sounds its pounding.  Above the thunder of the mighty waters, more majestic than the breakers of the sea is the LORD, majestic on high.  YOUR decrees are indeed enduring; holiness befits YOUR House, O LORD, for evermore. [Psalm 93]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There are two ways to live your life.  One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle. [Albert Einstein]

PIERCED ONE
"I will pour on the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the SPIRIT of Grace and Supplication; then they will look to ME WHOM they pierced.  Yes, they will mourn because of HIM as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for HIM as one wails in bitter grief over a firstborn." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Scholars, both Jewish and Gentile, throughout the ages have carefully studied and considered the meaning and interpretation of this verse; thus there have been many varied interpretations.  Since they cannot allow admission that they themselves pierced YEHOWAH, some have applied it to the nation of Israel with its persecutions in mind.  But, to resolve the issue, the question must be answered: "Exactly who was pierced and for what purpose?"

What is fascinatingly interesting is the word "WHOM" translated in Hebrew is simply the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet (Alef - Tav).  The term "Alef - Tav" in other texts express completeness and exceeding transcendency (inspiring, awe-filled, magnificent).  When you consider the fact that the most distinctly unique name for the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD in HOLY SCRIPTURE, YEHOWAH, conveys a similar thought, although difficult to translate.  Evidently the name YEHOWAH communicates the all-encompassing and ever self-existing nature of CREATOR GOD among other unique descriptive characteristics.

Insight and understanding comes together when you combine the opening Text and the verses in Revelation that declare: "Behold, HE is coming with clouds, and every eye will see HIM, even they who pierced HIM. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of HIM; even so, Amen.  "I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the END — says the Lord — WHO is and WHO was and WHO is to come, the ALMIGHTY." [Revelation 1. 7 - 8]

It is as if YEHOWAH HIMSELF, the SOVEREIGN HOLY ONE, WHO is asks the question, "Do you doubt WHOM it is you pierced?  I am the ALEPH TAV, the ALPHA OMEGA, YEHOWAH, the MASTER DESIGNER, the BEGINNING and the ENDING of all things."

The precious Lord MESSIAH Y’SHUA was crucified for us; and if the rulers and elders knew the mysteries and wisdom of GOD beforehand, "they would not have crucified the LORD of Glory." [1 Corinthians 2. 8]   HE died, the PERFECT SACRIFICE, that we might live. "Alleluia!  Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the LORD our GOD! For true and righteous are HIS judgments." [Revelation 19. 1 - 2]  Astonishingly and beyond measure HE does all things well.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Whoever walks upright, works righteousness and speaks the truth will abide in the LORD'S Tabernacle and dwell in HIS holy hill.  Watch and pray that you may be found worthy.  Be encouraged and stand strong, the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA our KING is coming soon!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD doesn’t ask the impossible of us, only the incredibly difficult — so we can find our strength in HIM alone.

REPENT — DO NOT BE IGNORANT
"Truly, these times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because HE has appointed a day on which HE will judge the world in righteousness by the MAN whom HE has ordained." [Acts 17. 30 – 31a]

Ignorance was once overlooked, however without excuse.  "Since the creation of the world HIS invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even HIS eternal power and GODhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew GOD, they did not glorify HIM as GOD, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened." [Romans 1. 20 - 21]

Even a adolescent can understand the GOOD NEWS of salvation:  Simply believe and obey the LORD Y’SHUA and receive eternal salvation.  Unfortunately, often the more a man learns, the more ignorant he becomes in regards to eternal matters.  Many believe that any religion, or even no religion, is better than the only true one, which is a personal relationship with the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

The MESSIAH Y’SHUA, nevertheless clearly proclaimed — "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.  No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6]   Peter taught that there was no, "salvation in any other, for there is no other NAME under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." [Acts 4. 12]  The Apostle Paul told the skeptical philosophers in Athens that GOD "has given assurance to all men, in that HE raised HIM [Y’SHUA] from the dead." [Acts 17. 31b]  The evidence that CHRIST defeated death is available with "many infallible proofs" [Acts 1. 3], and the evidence is so strong that those who reject it are unjustifiable.  Ignorance is not a bliss, it is without excuse!

There are many other truths about which the MAN of righteousness warns us to not remain ignorant about.  Paul, for instance, declared:  "Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant" — the gifts are given by the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD — "to each one individually as HE wills." [1 Corinthians 12. 1, 11]  And, although many believe and teach that ALMIGHTY GOD has abandoned the Jews, HIS chosen people forever, HE maintains HIS faithful promises, and reminds us, "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The DELIVERER will come out of Zion, and HE will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is MY covenant with them, when I take away their sins." [Romans 11. 25 – 27]

Perhaps the most exciting and important fact is for us to know that YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is coming again, just as HE promised.  "For this we say to you by the WORD of the LORD, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the LORD will by no means precede those who are asleep.  For the LORD HIMSELF will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of GOD.  And the dead in CHRIST will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the LORD.  Therefore comfort one another with these words." [1 Thessalonians 4. 15 - 18]

Now is the appointed time, now is the day of salvation.  Bless the LORD, O my soul and all that is within me — HE has done great things, and HE still is doing them!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, we share the blessed hope that, in Y'SHUA, every day will be as sweet as Shabbat — a rest of love freely given in truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor of the LORD Y’SHUA!  Have a good week, may gladness reign and joy increase.
Shavua Tov — Good Week!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Who is wise?  One who learns from every man.  Who is strong?  One who overpowers his inclinations.  Who is rich?  One who is satisfied with his lot.  Who is honorable?  One who honors his fellowman." [–Ben Zoma, Ethics of the Fathers, 4:1]  Wisdom shows all four are internal, it’s your attitude… open your eyes, watch people around you, and be strong enough to do the right thing.

DISPENSATION OF GRACE
"You have heard of the dispensation of the grace of GOD which was given to me for you." [Ephesians 3. 2]

Dispensation (stewardship, economy) has had both its advocates and opponents among BIBLE-believing CHRISTians.  The number and nature of the various dispensations or economies through which the CREATOR has dealt with HIS human creation during the course of history has been the subject of considerable discussion and variations among the clergy and commentators.

There are two dispensations specifically called such in HOLY SCRIPTURE.  The initial one is the "dispensation of the fullness of the times" when GOD will "gather together in one all things in MESSIAH." [Ephesians 1. 10]  This will be the eternal economy of the New Heavens and the New Earth. [Revelation 21 - 22]

The second specific dispensation is this present "dispensation of the grace of GOD." [Ephesians 3. 2]   Like Paul, we have been called "as good stewards of the manifold grace of GOD." [1 Peter 4. 10]  "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion." [Romans 11. 25]  Therefore, each of us could say that "I have been entrusted with a stewardship" [1 Corinthians 9. 17] of the GOSPEL, and that "I became a minister (or servant), according to the stewardship from GOD which was given to me for you, to fulfill the WORD OF GOD, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations." [Colossians 1. 25 - 26]

"Now to HIM WHO is able to establish you according to my GOSPEL and the preaching of JESUS CHRIST, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic SCRIPTURES made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the EVERLASTING GOD, for obedience to the faith — to GOD, alone wise, be glory through JESUS CHRIST forever. Amen" [Romans 15. 25 - 27]  Without a doubt, the dispensation of grace is  real stewardship, a responsibility committed to each who believe.  May we be found lovingly and diligently doing the MASTER’S will.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
Welcome Sabbath – Queen of the week!  Praised are YOU, YEHOWAH, our GOD, SOVEREIGN of the Universe, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and favours us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us.  Remember, HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps!
Sabbath of Pekudei – “Accounts” [Reading: Exodus 38:21 - 40:18; 1 Kings 7:51 – 8:21; Luke 16:1-13]
Whoever walks upright, works righteousness and speaks the truth will abide in the LORD'S Tabernacle and dwell in HIS holy hill.  Watch and pray that you may be found worthy.  Be encouraged and stand strong, the LORD MESSIAH Y’SHUA our KING is coming soon and HIS rewards are with HIM.
"Kumi Ori —Arise & Shine!"  Stay alert for such a time as this, keep watching and praying. Blessings to all who love Zion!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A fool falls on his back and bruises his nose.

PATHS & WAYS
"Thus said the LORD — Stand by the roads and consider, inquire about ancient paths; which is the road to happiness?  Travel it and find tranquility for yourselves.  But they said — We will not!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 6. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The world today seems to demand that everyone follow whatever is new, fashionable or politically correct and popular.  In addition to that drivel and nonsense, there is always some new philosophy, religion, more modern version of traditional doctrines, or another new idea.  However, the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, the HIGH & LOFTY ONE does not change with the times.  With HIM, there "is no variation or shadow of turning." [James 1. 17]   From everlasting to everlasting GOD is unchanging, MESSIAH YESHUA "is the same yesterday, today, and forever." [Hebrews 13. 8]  "For I am the LORD, I do not change." [Malachi (Malakhi) 3. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

What we may call new is simply repeats of ancient immoralities and ancient evolutionism, since "only that shall happen which has happened.  Only that shall occur which has occurred; there is nothing new beneath the sun." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 1. 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The old paths constitute the "GOOD WAY" and GOD'S holy people will never find rest for their soul until they walk in them.  "Do not remove the ancient boundary stone that your ancestors set up." [Proverbs (Mishle) 22. 28 Tanakh, Kethuvim]  "You shall not move your countryman's landmarks, set up by men of old, in the property that will be allotted to you in the land that the LORD your GOD is giving you to possess." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 19. 14 Tanakh, Torah]

The NEW COVENANT rebukes those idle philosophers and academic dreamers who "spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing." [Acts 17. 21]   The "GOOD NEWS" is the "HOPE of ETERNAL LIFE which GOD, WHO cannot lie, promised before time began." [Titus 1. 2]  The wonders of the GLORIOUS & EXALTED CREATOR GOD are great, rich, and without number!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Be gracious to us ALMIGHTY LORD GOD that we may understand and fulfill the Teaching of YOUR WORD.  Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments.  Unite our hearts to love and revere YOU and to learn YOUR WORDS and wisdom.  LORD YOU are my PRAISE, my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE — in days of affliction and at all times.
May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life; oh, return to HIM with your whole heart.  May each of you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it.  Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make it a daily practice to see with your eyes, hear with your ears, and understand with your heart the incredible things GOD ALMIGHTY wants to tell you.

LAKE OF FIRE
"And whosoever was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 15]

OMNIPOTENT HOLY GOD makes it very clear that the Lake of Fire is a literal place and all "the fearful, the unbelieving and the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the Lake which BURNS WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE." [Revelation 21. 8]

The GRACIOUS LORD spoke more about hell then anyone else in the HOLY SCRIPTURES.  To the unsaved, Y’SHUA, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will say, "Depart from ME, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew 25. 41]

The Antichrist (the Beast) and the false prophet are to be cast into the Lake of Fire before the binding of Satan for one-thousand years.  Then, the present earth itself is to be removed and finally, the Devil will be "cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever." [Revelation 20. 10; 19. 20; 20. 2, 7, 10 - 11]   This Lake of Fire is in existence both before and after the removal of the present earth, and it will continue to exist forever.

There are those who say the Lake of Fire is symbolic and should not be taken literally.  If this is so, the reality must be so utterly indescribable and beyond description that it can only be symbolized by an Eternal Lake of Fire, which would be even more horrible.  For those "that obey not the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST" they are to be "punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the LORD." [2 Thessalonians 1. 8 - 9]

Rather than questioning the reality of Hell and its unquenchable fire, which is the just destiny of all who reject or ignore the free gift of salvation provided by the infinite love and sacrificial suffering of CREATOR GOD by way of Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH; men and women should come to YESHUA, the MASTER REDEEMER now in faith and "be saved from wrath through HIM." [Roman 5. 9]

Now is the appointed time, tomorrow may be too late.  So complete and perfectly does the blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO through the ETERNAL SPIRIT OF GOD MOST HOLY, offers cleansing of our conscience from dead works to serve the TRUE & LIVING GOD. [Hebrews 9. 14]

BEWARE! There is a literal New Heaven and New Earth coming to attain; and a literal burning Lake of Fire to shun (avoid, keep away from).  Make a careful decision now while there is still time and live accordingly.  Now is the appointed time, today is the day of salvation!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
Sit on YOUR Throne of Truth, O LORD, AUTHOR & ALL-WISE CREATOR, establish mercy, seek justice and hasten righteousness, we pray, Amen!  Consider your latter end; fear GOD, the HOLY CREATOR, take heed to HIS counsel, seek understanding.
Welcome Rosh Chodesh (New Month, Adar ll – this is the Jewish Leap Year, so an extra month is added starting at sundown.)  May each day bring you a blessing filled with wisdom and discernment for the times ahead.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Set aside your will for the sake of the MASTER'S will.

SIGNATURE OF GOD
"In the beginning ELOHIYM created the heavens and the earth." [BOOK OF CREATION — Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 1 Tanakh, Torah]

In the physical first creation, the TRIUNE GOD (ELOHIYM is a plural word) stamped HIS signature of "three."  In the universe HE created, there are. . .
Three Times:  Past — Present — Future
Three Views:  Earth — Sea — Sky
Three Great Kingdoms:  Animal — Vegetable — Mineral
Three Parts of Man:  Spirit — Soul — Body
Three Forms Matter Can Assume:  Solid — Liquid — Gas
Three Colors To One Ray of Light: Blue — Red — Yellow

The Tabernacle in the Wilderness [Exodus/Shemot 25 - 40] as a picture of the New Creation, also has this numerical signature of the DIVINE RULER. [Luke 24. 27 — again the signature. Three sections of SCRIPTURE in the OLD COVENANT: Torah (Law), Nevi'im (The Prophets), Kethuvim (Psalms & Writings)]  Man was created in the image of GOD THE MASTER, the AUTHOR & FINISHER, and is composed of spirit, soul, and body.  Likewise, this Holy Structure has three main parts: The Holy of Holies, the Holy Place and the Outer Court.

The Holy of Holies represents GOD THE FATHER — GOD'S HOLY PRESENCE and HIS Throne Room.  The Holy Place, GOD THE SON, pictures Heaven and Heaven's provisions.  The Court, tells of GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT — it shows earth and the judgment for sin.  Each part in itself manifests the GOD-HEAD.

These rooms, collectively and individually, describe the LORD JESUS.  They also tell of the believer in Y’SHUA ha'MASHIACH as well. . .

The Holiest represents the spirit, or GOD-conscious part of man.  It is the innermost shrine, the Holy of Holies of the SPIRIT where the Law of GOD is deposited. [Ephesians 3. 16]

The Holy Place symbolizes the soul, man's self-consciousness.  This is the soul or mind, the "holy place" where the lamps are lighting up the understanding, where the bread is for nourishment and the incense for DIVINE fellowship.

The Court is significant of the body, that which is world-conscious in man; the external side of his being, that which is seen and recognized by all as the actual person and where it is cleansed, clothed and consecrated for service. [2 Corinthians 5. 1, 4 — used metaphorically of the body as the tabernacle of the soul.  Peter speaks about his body as "his tabernacle" in 2 Peter 1:13-14]

The believer is to be a true Tabernacle of Witness for GOD.  We are to be an "active testimony" in this world to the LORD Y’SHUA, if we are to come into "THE PROMISE" which MESSIAH gave to all who would believe in HIM:  "You shall receive power when the HOLY SPIRIT has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to ME." [Acts 1. 8]   And, "when the HELPER (the HOLY SPIRIT, the COMFORTER) comes, WHOM I shall send to you from the FATHER, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO proceeds from the FATHER, HE will testify of ME (Y’SHUA, the BELOVED REDEEMER)." [John 15. 26]

ALMIGHTY GOD, the CREATOR & MASTER DESIGNER of Heaven and Earth wants us to see and know HIS "Triune Signature" in all HIS creation; for all these things were given that you may know and believe.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalm 137:5
Praised is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD.
“Pray for the well-being (Shalom- external peace) of Yerushalayim; may those who love you be at peace (Shalva- inner peace).” Psalm 122:6

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Mercy and wrath both come from the LORD; but HIS displeasure rests upon sinners.

IN THE BEGINNING
"MY OWN hand founded the earth, MY right hand spread out the heavens.  When I call to them, they stand up together." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 48. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This SCRIPTURE passage not only tells us that GOD is the CREATOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH, but also that HE created them instantly and simultaneously.   Creation was not a "process" — but an amazing and miraculous event!  ALMIGHTY GOD, the GREAT FASHIONER & MASTER DESIGNER simply spoke them into being.

This is the testimony of the incomparable account of creation in Genesis — "In the beginning ELOHIYM created heaven and earth." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 1 Tanakh, Torah]   Creation of all things was an event completed in the past. . . in its beginning.  Who else could create, but the HOLY ONE OF HEAVEN, for by the greatness of HIS might and the strength of HIS power, all things exist.

The Psalmist harmonizes:  "By the WORD OF THE LORD the heavens were made, by the breath of HIS mouth, all their host...for HE spoke, and it was; HE commanded, and it endured." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 6, 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]   "Let the heavens praise the NAME OF THE LORD, for it was HE WHO commanded and they were created.  HE made them endure forever, establishing an order that shall never change." [Psalms (Tehillym) 148. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

When the EXALTED ONE, blessed be HE, called a thing into existence, it happened.  When HE called for the heavens, the earth and all that HE made were just as HE said.  "And ELOHIYM saw all that HE had made, and found it very good. And there was evening and there was morning (a 24-hour day; evening/morning each of the days of creation week) the sixth day." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 31 Tanakh, Torah] The seventh day, the MASTER DESIGNER rested, this is the only day "evening and morning" are deliberately omitted because the LOVING ETERNAL CREATOR is emphasizing the fact that we will find eternal rest in HIM alone.

OMNISCIENT GOD created the heavens and the earth and all that was needed in six days, not millions or even thousands of years; nor did anything evolve or develop on its own!   "In six days the LORD made heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them." [Exodus (Shemot) 20. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

It is very important to recognize the recent creation of all things, GOD SAID SO and no GOD-fearing person should ever compromise any of HIS HOLY WORD.  The REVEALED WORD of our blessed LORD GOD, WHO alone is TRUTH, is stupendous and fascinating beyond words, and should be our primary concern.  HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD transcends and outshines all theories or arguments of men.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is a poor thing to fear the inevitable.

BLOSSOM & BUD
"If one holds fast to MY strength, MY refuge, he makes ME his friend and he shall make peace with ME.  In days to come Jacob shall strike root, Israel shall blossom and bud, and the face of the world shall be covered with fruit." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 27. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The awesome GOD OF ISRAEL promised HIS people the fertile land, as they obeyed HIS statutes and kept HIS judgments and performed them, safety was also promised.  The ETERNAL ONE desired to set HIS Tabernacle among them, to walk beside them, to be their GOD, and they to be HIS covenant people. [Leviticus/Vayikra 26. 4 - 12]  This great plan will be obviously manifested when the LORD Y’SHUA, the DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS rules the earth in righteousness and justice.

"The LORD put out HIS hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me — Herewith I put MY WORDS in your mouth.  See, I appoint you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms: To uproot and to pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 1. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The arid desert shall be glad, the wilderness shall rejoice and shall blossom like a rose.  It shall blossom abundantly it shall also exult and rejoice with joy and singing. It shall receive the glory of Lebanon, the excellence and splendor of Karm'El and Sharon.  They shall behold the glory of the LORD, the excellency of our GOD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 35. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Though the fig tree does not bud, and no yield is on the vine; though the olive crop has failed and the fields produce no grain, though sheep have vanished from the fold and no cattle are in the pen — Yet will I rejoice in the LORD, exult in the GOD of my salvation.  The LORD GOD is my strength; HE makes my feet like deer's and lets me walk on the heights." [Habakkuk 3. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For as the earth brings forth her bud and the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the LORD GOD will make righteousness and praise, victory and renown spring up in the presence of all the nations." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 61. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

If all people of the world were to acquaint themselves with the ALMIGHTY ONE, THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, and be close to HIM wholeheartedly, accept instructions from HIS mouth and lay up HIS WORDS in their heart. . . If they fully returned to EL SHADDAI, the ALL-SUFFICIENT ONE, we would see the entire earth restored.  It will blossom (Hebrew: tsoots) and bloom (Hebrew: pa’rach) for HIS glory some day very soon.  What is even more splendid, we will be the people of the MOST HIGH and HE will be our GOD. [Revelation 21. 3]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.” Psalms 137:5
GOD has often told HIS people not to worry or be afraid.  They had choices, just like we do in all things even in this election.  But GOD wanted them to choose HIM and be confident that HE was in charge.  This is true today.  GOD still promises HIS people, I will protect you.  I am your REFUGE, not kings, rulers, prime ministers, or presidents. "I AM!"
Regardless how or what the world may choose, GOD should be our choice.  And there is great comfort in that.  Remember, HE WHO keeps Israel, and HIS OWN dear children, neither slumbers or sleeps!  Blessed be our GREAT GOD in WHOSE dwelling is joy and through WHOSE goodness we live.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never mind the remorse, don't commit the sin!

BOTTLED TEARS
"YOU (LORD GOD) keep count of my wanderings; put my tears into YOUR bottle; into YOUR record book." [Psalms (Tehillym) 56. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew prophets mention professional mourners, who were called in at the time of sorrow to express mourning for the dead.  "Send for the skilled women, let them come.  Let them quickly start a wailing for us that our eyes may run with tears, our eyelids flow with water." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  Tears flow freely and openly in the Oriental custom, a highly emotional peoples — at such times they are considered to be a definite means of bringing comfort to sorrowing hearts. [John 11. 33]  It was not uncommon to see the tears being gathered and collected into bottles and kept as special remembrances.

The weeping woman, a sinner, who washed the feet of MESSIAH Y’SHUA  with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, was none other than Miryam (Mary) the sister of Martha and Lazarus.  The tears she wept and the precious bottled tears were used to wash the feet of her LORD, then she proceeded to kiss and anoint them with the fragrant oil from the alabaster flask. [Luke 7. 37 - 50]  Though her sins were many, they were forgiven, for she loved much.  Noticeably, the more one is forgiven, the more they are able to love!

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, desired that his people would have a change of heart so they too could be forgiven, "Oh my suffering, my suffering!  How I am pained and writhe!  Oh, the walls of my heart!  My heart moans within me, I cannot be silent; for disaster overtakes disaster." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 4. 19-20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "That is why I say — Let me be, I will weep bitterly; do not labor to comfort me because of the ruin of my poor people." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 22. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]  "Oh, that my head were water, my eyes a fountain of tears! Then would I weep day and night for the slain of my poor people!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you.  Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  Lament and mourn and weep!  Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.  Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up." [James 4. 8 - 10]  The HOLY CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL stores our tears and they are precious to HIM as we "delight to do HIS will and keep HIS Law in our heart." [Psalms/Tehillym 40. 8]  Great and wondrous promises belong to those who seek for the TRUE & LIVING GOD in sincerity; and trust and obey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of JerUSAlem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
“If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand wither.”  Psalms 137:5
As we bid farewell to Shabbos, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly.  Help us, O our GOD, to banish from our hearts all pride and vain-glory, all confidence in worldly possessions, all self-sufficient leaning upon our own reason.  Fill us with the spirit of meekness and the grace of modesty, that we may become wise in the fear of YOU.
May we never forget that all we have and prize is but lent to us, a trust for which we must render account to YOU.  O HEAVENLY FATHER , put into our hearts the love and fear of YOU, that we may consecrate our lives to YOUR service and glorify YOUR NAME in the eyes of all men.
Shavua Tov — Good Week!  May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes.  Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
